Anime Can you identify this anime?

well, I've been recalling this anime from a long time ago, and i cant remember what it was called. It was about a cyborg, with a giant 8 i think on his chest. Also, i seem to recall something about him being extrodinarily fast. If anyone thinks this sounds familar, please say as its been bugging me for a long time!

[COLOR=Red]That's definitely Cyborg 009. Your memory must be a bit blurry. But cyborg 009 moves fast and does all the stuff you mentioned (except the number 8).
(Is this post too short?) Let's lengthen it. Try to remember this: cyborg 009 has 8 other friends. They all wear red uniforms. Ring any bells? If I'm wrong, then I don't know what that anime is.[/COLOR]

hmmm, no, i dont think that it was 009. It was a grown man cyborg and was i think a 'grown up' tv show, which is why i was so interested in it at the time. no, this person definatly worked alone, except for a doctor who helped him when he malfunctioned and such. and i think to alter his memory? and something about him killing most of a out of controle cyborg foot ball team, who got brainwashed. except for this one player who's kid he knew, or whos kid plead for his life.... something. ow, brains starting to ache, bt, ah! one more thing! he went to some company and tried to physicaly connect with the computer, set off all sorts of alarms, sleep gas. and the girl who he was with got nocked out, something, ack thats all for now, maybe some other clues later... i hope... anyone recognize this now?

This is a wild guess,but just from saying it's a Cyborg with an 8 on him. I'm thinking 8 man, it was an old anime. This is the closest guess I have. Only place I know with some info on it is Absolute Anime, check them out and see if it's the one your talking about.

[color=#707875]It sounds to me like it's [b]8 Man After[/b]. I remember watching that anime ages ago (I think at one point he's outside a shop or something and he tears the bad guys' arms off or something...I only have vague memories).

A few months ago, I bought a wallscroll on a whym, simply because I thought it was just that pretty. However, it has been bugging me as to what anime this image is from, of late.

The image is of two male characters, one of which is a small child. The older one looks like he might be anywhere between fiteen and 25.

At the bottom of the picture is the sillouette of a character in a raggedy cape, holding a staff. There is a rather large cross on a chain blowing in the wind, presumably hung from his neck.

Their is a large, full moon in the background of the picture, and the kid has a fang, which leads me to think either DEMONS! Or VAMPIRES!

My friend, upon seeing it after I bought it, promptly said, "Oooo...those brothers who turn into demons at night!" but didn't seem to know anything else.

The whole thing has a vamp-y mood to it.

There are two anime/manga that I KNOW exist but can't remember and I want to put them here to see if anyone can tell me what they were cuz' I don't know for the life of me. The first one seems to be popping up everywhere I go and it's in the layout for [URL=http://www.seraphlight.net]Seraphlight[/URL] (I think that's the right url) and on one of my textbooks... the second one I think had a title with the word "birdy" in it or something, and it was about this guy who died or something because of something this girl did and she took over his body and made him change into her every time she wanted to and did stuff like jump over buildings, super-heroish. I never saw the end of this, and it WAS a movie, so I was wondering if anyone else had ever seen it. I'm not sure of the basic plot...I was in first grade and only saw about a 1/2 hour of it.

It has one evil scientist after him while he has one or several good scientists in his journey that fix him up after several fights that he has. Also his name is Jiro. Ring any bells? He's half blue/red, he switches back and forth from his robot form to his human-like form. He also falls in love with a human girl. I don't know if any of his sounds familiar but, if it does PM me.
