I've gotten Fable off my list and rented SRS. It sucks but back to the point, I've been awaiting the arrival od DOA Ultimate. Now that it will bon on Xbox Live I can kick some *** acroos the world. The graphics are crisp as in all DOA games and they have some new levels to fight in too. Plus you get the Japanes version of DOA that was released on sega saturn.
I plan on purchasing this game when it comes out (Oct. 19th?), but I'm really annoyed by some of the bullcrap in this game package.

First of all, it might just be me, but I couldn't care less about "DOA [One] Ultimate." Crap graphics, worthless figthing engine. I have so many better games to play that if that disk wasn't included in the package at all I might almost be happier because then the game box might be a normal X-box box.

Then there's the retardation of making counters harder to pull off by making it a 4-point counter system rather than a 3-point. As if button-mashing didn't get you far enough already. Now as long as you don't keep pressing the same button non-stop, you'll beat on all the "experienced" players as if you're one yourself, no problem.

Also, some characters have lost a few of their moves (which were newly added in DOA3). For the true "System Restore" experience, lol. Morons. Honestly, what the heck is with taking away moves? I swear, Team Ninja puts all of their smart people to work on Ninja Gaiden II, and puts all the rejects to work on DOA.

Then there's them not confirming the inclusion of Christie/Brad Wong/Hayate. I'm glad they put in Hitomi, but come on! It's a rule (probably even written somewhere) that a fighting game should NOT have fewer characters than its predecessor. Ever. They already have a DOAX Christie model, too, so all it would take is some cut-and-pasting to put her in, probably.

Eh, I'm sure there's more stuff I have problems with. But I'm still gonna get it because it just looks soooo good.

This is not a list.......

1. Sly 2 Band of Theives: I just beat Sly 1 today (only 5 hours but I havent collected all the pages). This looks pretty sweet. Bently has a b;'[]./,'in crossbow.

2. Monster Hunter: I DESPERATELY want this game. Full Charachter customization, huge monsters, sweet graphics, online play (that Ill never use) and I have high expectations from capcom (Viewtiful Joe and Onimusha fan)

3. Metroid Prime 2: I loved the first game, though I never took the time to beat it. The dark and light guns look sweet, but the multiplayer has me sold.

I really really really loved the first Sly. Got all of the pages, and all of the Master Thief Sprints too.
But sadly, I think the second one is gonna be a bit of a disappointment. Some people like it more...but I think they changed out some of the stuff that was the best in the first one....
Probably still a fun game, but I don't think it'll be as good as the first...sadly I haven't really gotten to play too much of the new one yet. (what I played though was a little disappointing)

But anyways, my Most Anticipated game...wow, that's tough.

Hmmmm....

This year:
(ok, narrowing down just one is tough)
Paper Mario 2
Metroid Prime 2
Halo 2

Forever (till it comes out):
NEW Zelda, whatever the hell it'll be called

I must be completely ignorant.

I forgot Viewtiful Joe 2! The first one is one of the hippest coolest games Ive ever plyed and is off the chain. The second one looks great, and Itl be cool to start out with Silvia. And.... is that Dante?

Also, Baten Kaitos looks to be a pretty cool game, but I knoow absolutely nothing about it. Any good links?

I know these 2 are already out but I want them: Zelda Four Swords Adventures and Tales of Symphonia. ToS has the sweet charachters, and I cant pass up any Zelda game.

Tales and Four Swords are fantastic games.
Tales is a great RPG that is a lot of fun with a great combat engine.
Four Swords is a just a helluva lot of fun four-player. Single player, it's a decently fun Zelda game, but four player is just one of the greatest multiplayer experiences ever.

And Dante is in the PS2 remake of Viewtiful Joe...I don't think he'll actually be in Viewtiful Joe 2...

hmmmm, lemme think.... I don't really have just one game I'm anticipating. I have three/four that I can narrow down from a rather large list though.

First and foremost is Halo 2. I mean why not. It's going to be an awsome game, and the upgrades from the first Halo look awsome. I'm looking forward to the new (or continuing, seeing as how it's not new) storyline. I'm also looking foward to the team option in multiplayer of Spartans VS. Elites. Fun for everyone. ...*waits to get the Energy Sword from the Elites that have em*

The second game (although it's very close to being first) is Fable. I will have this game, even if I have to knock over everyone in my way. *kicks annoying people who buy the game before he does*.... anyway, it looks like a great game. I like the fact that all the decisions and actions you make/take will determine what side you're on and what you look like. I also like the fact that it's more of a RPG rather than a FPS game that I seem to be playing alot recently.

Third game I'm looking foward to is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Dunno, I loved 3/Vice City. I'm expecting a great game outta this one also. GTA games are always fun to run through just killing people and destroying cars and whatnot.

And the last game is Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood. The first one was fun, but got repetative very quickly. I like what I've seen so far as far as character designs, new place, new music etc. goes. Hopefully this one won't be a waste of money as the last one almost is.

I think the charachters in Fable are hideouse.

Devil May Cry 3 is said to come out soon, and that has to be a great game. Ive actually never played the first two but Ive watched them be played and Im definetally going to get them.

Mortal Kombat Deception looks pretty sweet. it seems to be based around Baracuda. I love Deadly Alliance, and this has to be great too. In the past week its become the current most played PS2 game.

Oh yeah, more mad ups the Sly 2!

For me they are:

Jak 3 - the final installment of the series and set to be the greatest of the games. The addition of Light Jak is awesome and the wasteland is expected to be at least five times larger than haven city.

Final Fantasy XII - Supposedly set for a release date early in 2005, it is set in Ivalice the world of FFTA. As far as I know the storyline revolves around corrupt judges. The graphics are set to be the greatest of any Final Fantasy game.

Kingdom Hearts 2 - To be released late 2005, this game has been three years in the making. Hopefully this is where square enix has chosen to end the series but it looks great. From available pictures it looks to be a much darker game to the first and the questions I have from information on websites, the teaser at the end of The first game and pictures are:
Has Ansem returned? And why does Sora have two keyblades?

Firstly, I would like to say that I currently don?t have a PS2. My old PS2 suffered a horrible death. But, I?m planning on buying one of the newly redesigned PS2s? before Christmas. That plus the DS is going to kill me and I doubt I?ll be able to afford it all this year. These are the games that have really gotten my attention.

Okami for the PS2 is the game I?m most excited about overall. Unfortunately, at this point, there is no US release date. However, this would be the game to make me import. It features cel-shaded graphics and is being developed by Clover studios, the people behind Viewtiful Joe. I?m not exactly positive what the story is, but I do know that it?s heavy on Japanese mythology. Apparently you play as a wolf, that is actually a God, and you restore color to the world.

Killer 7 for the GCN is the other game I?m really pumped about. At this point, I?m anticipating it even more than Resident Evil 4, which seems to be at the top of everyone?s list. I have to admit RE4 looks beautiful, and extremely fun. The story itself (developed by Suda 51) is enough to get excited about. Plus the visual style is simply orgasmic.

Other than that I guess what most of you guys are saying.
