Anime Best Weapon of Anime....

[/spoiler] i just wouldnt want to have to be the security guard making that call ^^;

besides the gundams and EVAs there are also the megadeuces (Big O) and the arm slaves from full metal panic too. i guess i have a preference for the two latter ones since i have more actuvely watched those animes. they are cool because they arent tooooo advanced, i mean come on one is a relic from at least 40 years ago.

i have to say i am a sucker for the smple bow and arrow that both kagome and kikyo use. and on related note i think sango's hiraikotsu (sp?) is pretty cool too, though it IS heavy and cumbersome...

lastly i think the best weapon would be the ability to morph.. into people or things. i just dont particularly know of any animes like that... yet... but just imagine you could be anyone or anything at any time, it is just there when you need it. well i guess dopplegangers from naruto could count, those rock (but i cant comment on much else on naruto since i havent seen much >.<)

I think the Hyuuga clan's "Byakugan" blood-line limit is a really original weapon. It allows the person to see 360 degrees around his head and for miles into the distance. It makes attacks on this person extremely hard because he can see everything coming. Also, it allows you to see the chakra coils with in your opponent so you can directy attack them and imbolize/kill. The "soft fist" style of taijutsu (attacking chakra with in) paired with the Byakugan isn't your average fighting syle, and I like that.

I just love ninja and their techniques!

Haruko's guitar is a pretty neat weapon, too, considering the fact that it's a guitar. With a motor-like wind-up cord no less! The sound effects it makes when used to wallop things are pretty "funky" (I hate that word.=_="), too.

[COLOR=Navy]My fave and what I think is the nest anime weapon is the human body. That's what weilds all of the weapons. Also, there are so many different ways of using the body:
1. Fighting like in Dragon Ball/Z/GT where it's all body,
2. Weapons, with out a body, do you think that a weapon can move on its own in non-magical anime?
3. The body contains the brain which you need if you want to use cards like in Yu-Gi-Oh!
4. Also, you can use it to seduce your enemy and weaken them.

I have two favorite weapons of anime. The first has to be the tetsugai from inuyasha (respectively). To kill 100 demons with one sweep! That is one kick*** sword, not only because its so powerful, but because it looks cool as well...god im immature...anyway, second one is a weapon a friend of mine made in her manga. Its called the RamRod Howitz Rifle. Shoulder mounted rifle with armor piercing bullets. It has to be one of the coolest looking weapons. In one of her episodes (since it is hers and I refer to it without permission I will not say the title or her name) it takes down a tank with three shots. Im not sure if that counts since its not a commercial manga though. Perhaps one day though!

I really like that squirt gun/super mega laser thing from Excel Saga, that or the sniper rifle from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (I think its in episode 2).

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]i personally dig the castor rifle from outlar star (this was back in the day). the weapon was considered too old in the show, but when something has about 26 different bullets, who needs to carry a 45? also it is capable of....... well i wont spoil it for people who havent seen the show, but it is very cool.

I also have strong feelings for Wolfwoods cross gun from Trigun. Just the fact of hulking around a giant cross is awe inspiring, but when it doubles as a multi function weapon, you can bet the guys at the other anime companies are quakin in their boots.[/COLOR]

And not that it really can be considered a weapon, but the prayer beads that Kaede put around InuYasha's neck and then Kagome's ability to make InuYasha crash to the ground by saying Owsari or 'sit' I wonder if I can get one of those things for Lincoln and another for my brother (the real one or the estranged one, doesn't matter)[/color]

i think the red tetsusiga is the best weapon in anime because no barrier can stop it and its power seems limitless and it is weightless.and at first it looks like a small normal sword but when inuyasha transforms it it looks scary.not many of you probably herd of the red tetsusiga yet but the upcomming eppisodes will reveal the more powerful red tetsusiga.
