Everything you've got there is very grainy/blurry/otherwise hard to see. I'm not even sure what the images in the first banner are supposed to be. Most banners should have a border. It helps keep things contained, and gives some definition to the image. There are exceptions, but it's a good general rule...especially until you get used to the way things look, and what you can really do with them. Avoid the use of [font=comic sans]Comic Sans[/font] font. Make sure your text is readable over whatever color background you have.
