All i know is that there is a red-headed chick in it and it seems to be very-popular and really good.. so what is it about??????? me wants to know!! I'm in downtown Hickville Maryland where the closest thing to anime is an animal... get it? that was stupid.. But ppl seem to really like Slayers.. and me sortof thinks i'd like it too.. if i knew what it was about --.-- Everyone on the boards--- O.O;; she hasn't seen Slayers.. freak.. Shy Posted November 3, 2001 Share Posted November 3, 2001 I'm sorry, I have only seen about 5 episodes of the show myself, but the series is basically about Lina Inverse, who is a powerful magic user. She fights monsters and dragons and stuff with her small group of adventurers and they save the world from evil, etc... Slayers is more of a comedy series than an action show so if you buy the tapes expecting a serious and complicated show with deep and interesting characters then you are kinda SOL (Maybe record of loduss wars would be better for you?) but if you wanna see a show with over the top comedy then this show is for you. I think there are at least 3 Slayers Series (Slayers, Slayers Try, and Slayers Next) and they are all available on home video! It's really great anime, cool spells, original spells i might add, ppl actually have limits on there!!!
