Guest Maxwell
Hey, I'm want to create a Gundam Wing based game, that's more about playing and interacting with the characters than battle. So I was thinking I'd base it around AC198, straight after the Mariemaia battle! I guess it would take place in a yahoo/hotmail group, so it'll be out of the way, but easily accessible. It probably wouldn't stay cannon, as there isn't a set story, so people can develop the characters further than the show did. What do you guys think? Would anyone be interested?
Ezekiel
You sound a lot like me when I was a big GWing fan, it's scary. Anyways, I started an RPG based around AC198 not so long ago, the story was quite good, original etc. and there were a lot of options open to people interested in joining. For example: I had a person who had never watched GWing and knew nothing about the show, but still wanted to join. I dug up some info on Quatre for her and she loved it (thanks Vash!). But the RPG died anyway, but that happens all the time. Basically, for us to be able to say whether we would join it or not you should post a basic idea of what kind of storyline you have, even if it's not very strong at the moment.
I guess it would take place in a yahoo/hotmail group, so it'll be out of the way, but easily accessible.
You would post the RPG in the Adventure Inn to get people to sign up and then eventually move it to the Adventure square (but read the stickies/rules first!), not on a different board all together, otherwise there isn't much point on telling us about it here :p So, good luck with a story line and other details, I look forward to seeing the final product ^_^
Heero Darkangel
I did a Rpg called "Welcome to the Hotel California" it was based on the song sang by the eagles and the gundam wing boys...it kind of took off a little to fast for my liking and it was kind of cut short which ruined the story line...but all in all it was great fun although most of the ones who joined did die off near the end but with the help of a great poster called Duomaxwell1432 (I think thats how the numbers on her signature go) helped me to keep it going and we finished it..Huge thanks to her!!...and it ended quite well... As for the one Crucifix done...I was really looking forward to that but...I don't really know what happened...I quite liked it! I'm a fan of Gundam Wing although...I don't really know much about the characters...i've only seen bit's of it but if it has anything to do with Gundam wing...well to me it's good!...hope to see your rpg up and running soon! Sir Gawain
Indeed. Well, a Gundam Wing RPG will be welcome here on Otaku. Although I approve of the basic idea of how the characters evolve, there still has to be a story. So far, if this was X-Play, I would give it a 2 out of five for not having a story. Sadly, I'm not Adam Sessler, and I don't stand beside Morgan Webb every day. Anyway, give me some more info and I'll join easily. Most important, are there any more Gundams? Can we make our own Gundams? If so, here comes the Flaming Knight- Yee Haw! Ooc: Moderators seem to be joining these conversations a lot more openly, don't they? Sword Breaker
Well, I gave a Gundam Wing RPG a shot, and, as with all the other RPG i ahve made, it was a huge flop. (Though I CANT imagine why... lol...) Regardless, if you can get it off the ground, I would join in easily. But, like Kid Anime said, it would be much better to design our own Gundam MSs. I am a huge GW fan, but even I have my limits of much Duo I can take... no offense...
