The year is 2700. the people of earth, in dealing with overpopulation problems, have built orbiting space stations that serve as colonies.

one of these colonies, however, is very different from any other. it is called Zekrys, and it is the biggest and most exciting of all the orbiting nations. Zekrys has casinos, hotels, malls, racetracks of all kinds, and the most loved form of entertainment in the universe: the World Battle Network, or Battle net as it is called.

Battle net is made up of fighters who live to fight and make it to the top of the ranks and be champion of the world. they fight in a circular glass topped dome arena, 400 meters in diameter. huge rows of seats stretch up the walls so people can watch live. cameras are placed all over the dome, so later ppl all over the world and colonies can watch all the fights of the week. almost 80% of the world tunes in to watch this program.

Details:
-fighters are in it for 7 years mandatory. they live and train on a compound beside the arena.

- there are no deaths in exhibition fights. the winner has to knock his opponent into submission. if someone is killed, the person who killed them is punished. death decides the winner of championship fights, which are held less often than exhibitions.

-you can have more than two ppl fighting at one time (teams, battle royals, etc.) be creative. when you fight and who and stuff like that is up to you. weapons are used only when both parties or people have a weapon to use.

Ring Name: name thats on the rank charts and the name you go by...in the ring! EX: ppl watching dont say theyre favorite fighter is joe brown, theyll say they like "killer" (make better names than killer)

Rank: tell what rank you're in out of 60, or say that you are newly joined. (you have to beat someone twice to move up one rank.

Alignment: overall, are you a good clean and fair fighter or a bad one who picks fights outside the ring? or are you neutral?

Appearance: whatdya look like?

Weapons: what weapon(s) you use in weapon-legal fights.

Appearance: tall and brooding with short black hair ( i always use black hair...) always wears a white phantom of the opera mask on the left side of his face to cover burns he recieved at a younger age.

Weapons: those...gaunlet type things with the blades coming out of the knuckles (dude i forgot what those are callled!)

Bio: had a nice and wealthy upraising. one day, however, his highschool caught on fire. he was trapped under a desk, face against the floor, and no one noticed. he finally got himself out, but recieved terrible burns on one side of his face and his chest. not being able to bear the site of himself, he ran away from home and traveled to the colonies using money stolen from his parents. he trained in the martial arts until he was 19, then joined battle net. he thinks everyone is apalled by how he looks, and that if he is world champion ppl will love him.

Bio:Kennath grew up totally normal. Except nothing he evr did could satisfy him. He was ALWAYS bored. Untill the day he signed up for World Battle Network. Ken quickly found that he had tremendos skill when it came to fighting. If you can call it skill... it was more luck then skill, thus the name Lukcy Striker! Stronge willed and hot headed, Ken isn't afraid of anything, charging blindly into a battle, wiht no real regard for himself. Though he is ranked 9th, Ken dosn't have the vast hordes of fans as with the more serious fighters, most people are to busy laughing to cheer him on, but he knows their there... i think... He dosn't like to kill, even in the championship fights, so most people regard him as a coward. At one point, Ken got to the Finals, but, unfortunatly, his luck finally ran out. He had both his arms broken, and his spine was bent out of shape. So, his spine healed perfectly, and is now back to health, but his arms were devestated. He had lost his powerful punch, and had to train for 3 years to regain his power. Now one of the favourites for the chamionship, he is trainging to become number one!

Allignment: Nuetral. Ken belives in fiar fights, and finds fighting outside the ring againts his honor code. Quite the presumptious little basterd aint he?

Appearance: dark brown hair with lighter streaks, a bit longer than shoulder-length, tied back for fights to keep it out of his face. A bit shorter than average height. Grey urban camo trousers tucked into black military-style boots, white Tee and black leather jacket (more bomber than trenchcoat). Blue-grey eyes.

Weapons: bo-staff or naginata.

Bio: Jack has always been obsessed by fame. He can't countenance dying with the world not knowing his name. And in this day and age, the shortest path to fame and fortune is through a lotta other people in the Battle net. He's been training in karate and bo-jutsu since he was seven. He was born with exceptional spatial awareness, that is, he can tell where people and obstacles are even if he's not looking at them. This means he can target his blows with perfect accuracy and he's practically impossible to sneak up on or surprise. He's incredibly cocky and plans to win the Battle net crowd with impressive stunts such as fighting blindfolded. He won't accept anything less than first place, and if the crowd doesn't love him by the time he gets there, he'll consider his whole effort a failure. Jack has a calm, relaxed fighting style and never makes unnecessary movements, meaning in fights his moves appear smooth and graceful as if choreographed. He won't fight dirty because that might make the crowd dislike him. So he isn't in it purely to win; he needs to win [I]and[/I] be loved.

ok blackjack to answer your question yes, there will be a story. the story will be anything you care to make up. i already know one thing im just gonna throw in there for some plot. and you have to make relationships with other fighers, etc.

and im gonna wait for a few more to join before we start this up.

Weapons: katana with white sheath and a white with red trim grip. the sword has "and the thunder will roar as your blood pours, and from that day forth they shall know me as the slayer" engraved on the blade of the sword.

Bio: Growing up was hard for Von he was always picked on in school, until his father who had heard about battle net decided to train him to be in it. at first Von hated training every day for two hours straight but later on in life he started to appreciate it.His father was very good with a sword and with hand to hand combat so he taught Von both.He quikly adapted to the sword but it took him longer for the hand to hand, but eventually he got it down. no longer was he picked on in school after he knocked out a kid who thought he could push him down and start beating him up while he was on the ground. Von became very familiar with the pressure points of the body and where to hit some one to take them down and to kill them. to this day, he still trains and studies the pressure points of the body.

Bio: Growing up, Oddin was a nerdy short kid with spikey blond hair, who always got picked on. When he was 13 he decided he wasn't gonna take it any more, he began working out at the gym and weightlifting at home. After a while, when he got hit, he hit back. Hard. He accidentally hospitalized a bully one day by breaking his arm in a big fight. He got in crazy amounts of trouble, but he was popular and nobody wanted to mess with him. On his 16th birthday, he decided to leave home and join the battle network. He died his hair blue and wanted to be called Joe, because it sounded normal. Now hes a fighter.
