RPG Yu-Gi-Oh: Chaos of the Millennium Items (PG-VL)

[B][I][COLOR=Teal]?You do understand what to do,? a dark voice said from the darkness, ?don?t you?? A few chuckles start coming from the shadows. They sound no older then teenagers.

?Of course,? a young male?s voice said with a snicker, ?Master Anubis. We?ll make you very proud.? An odd feeling suddenly fell upon the room. It was like the dark voice, now addressed as Anubis, was grinning without a face.

?Very good,? Anubis said with a deep laugh, ?Remember, don?t give yourself away too early. Hide your true nature at first. Get close to the enemy before you strike.? Five shadows nodded in the dark. Four boys and a girl.

Later in a different part of Domino, Amber was sitting at a desk. She looked bored as her door suddenly open and Seto stormed in. Amber didn?t seem to notice. She was too busy looking at a paper.

?How may I help you Seto,? Amber asked without even looking up. Seto quickly walked over to the desk. His Millennium Rod was nicely attached to his side. He didn?t look too happy. Amber could sense his tension, so she decided to look up.

?I?ve been getting constant e-mails and letters from people I don?t even know,? Seto said as he slammed his hands down on the desk, ?Would you happen to know about this?? Amber slightly shook her head and stood up. Seto glared at her as she walked next to him.

?Listen,? Amber said as she put her hand to her chin, ?There is a great evil organization forming and I decided to get some help. I either e-mailed or sent letters out to people with, lets say, good Millennium Items.? Seto stopped glaring at Amber and looked down at his Millennium Rod.

?What do Millennium Items have to do with an evil organization,? Seto asked as he looked back over at Amber. Amber shook her head again and looked at the ceiling. Something was obviously bothering her.

?This evil organization has their own Millennium Items,? Amber said as her purple eyes flickered, ?Those Millennium Items are the ?good? items? counterparts. They?re pure evil and so are their yamis.? Seto looked a little startled. He quickly grabbed Amber?s arms and stared at her.

?How did you find this out,? Seto questioned as his icy blue eyes stared hard at Amber?s violet purple one?s. Amber smiled and wiggled out of Seto?s grip. She then let out a depressed sigh.

?Joy told me as soon as I got these earrings,? Amber said as she moved one of her earrings, ?She seemed to know a lot and she also seemed really concerned about it.? Seto dropped his arms to his sides and grabbed the Millennium Rod. He seemed concerned now.

?Is there anything I can do,? Seto asked as he moved the rod in his hand. Amber nodded her head and smiled. It seemed as if she had been waiting for that.

?Of course there is,? Amber said as she continued to smile, ?I?m not in the same classes as you, so I can?t get this message to Yugi. I want you to tell Yugi that I need his help. He?s allowed to bring help of his own if he wants.? Seto?s expression suddenly changed from concerned to annoyed. Amber knew he hated Yugi, but she still asked him to talk to him.

?Alright,? Seto said with a false pained voice, ?but why?? Amber shook her head once again. Seto was smart, but he didn?t seem to get the simple things.

?I need good duelists that aren?t afraid of a little adventure,? Amber said as she crossed her arms, ?Yugi is one of many with a Millennium Item of his own. Now, excuse me while I go e-mail the others back.? Amber turned to leave, but Seto grabbed her arm. Amber slightly looked at him and started tapping her foot.

"Ok," Seto said as he let go of Amber's arm, "Give me a meeting place and time. I'll show up with Yugi and friends. I'm quiet sure I can be of assistance." Amber nodded and looked back at the door. She then started walking again.

?Domino Park after school,? Amber said as she opened the office doors, ?I?m giving the ?good? Millennium Item holders the same message. Good luck bro.? Seto nodded as Amber walked out the door. They both hoped that everyone was willing to help because they didn?t know what they were against yet.

OOC: Ok good guys, for your first post, you have to start at school and meet at Domino Park. Amber, Seto, Yugi, and Co. will already be there. You have to introduce yourself, your item, and maybe your yami. Bad guys, have to find out about the meeting somehow and start to listen in on it. You guys will act like normal teens at first.

[B][I][COLOR=Red]"Boring," Amanda whispered to herself as she tapped a pen on her desk. She was in the middle of Math class. Luckily, it was the last period of the day.

"Amanda," Yolee said as she floated behind Amanda, "Don't forget about that e-mail!" Amanda let out a soft depressed sigh and looked at her nails. She seemed to acting the total oppisite of what she really was.

"How could I forget about an e-mail from my boyfriend's sister," Amanda questioned in a soft whisper. Yolee shook her head and floated in front of Amanda. She had her arms crossed and a stern look on her face.

"Listen," Yolee said as her purple eyes got harsher, "I don't care who it's from. I care about what it's about." Amanda nodded her head and leaned back in her chair. Yolee shook her head again and let out a depressed sigh. She did see why she even bothered.

After school, Amanda headed stright for Domino Park. She really didn't understand what the big deal was, but if Amber said so.

"Seto," Amanda said as she came to the small group in the park, "I'm glad to see you here! So, what's the scoop?" Joey shook his head in embarrssment as Seto slightly blushed. That was totally out of character for Seto.

"Amanda," Amber said as she stood inbetween Yugi and Bakura, "Amanda Wheeler! Owner of the Millennium Necklace and host to Princess Yolee. Nice of you to join us!" Amanda looked over at Amber and then looked around at the small group. Seto, Amber, Joey, Yugi, Bakura, Tristan, Tea, and Duke were there.

"Well," Amanda said as she hugged Seto,"Why are we all here?" Amber let out a sigh as Joey walked up behind her. She seemed a little discouraged.

"Yolee should have told you already," Amber said with a depressed voice, "and if she hasn't, you're going have to wait until the others get here." Amanda let out a sigh and put her head on Seto's chest. She never really liked waiting, but she knew she had to.[/COLOR][/I][/B]

"No! My Insect Princess!" Weevil Underwood backed away in shock and horror as his most powerful creature was ripped to shreds before his eyes. His opponenent, a tall young man with white hair and piercing red eyes, laughed arrogantly.

"You didn't really think a bunch of bugs would let you beat me, did you? My undead legions won't have any of that! The duel is mine, you little roach."

Set grinned as the holograms dissapeared, stepping forward. "Now, it's time for me to take my prize. Your Insect Princess, please."

Weevil backed away. "Hold it, stick bug! This wasn't an ante duel! I don't owe you anything!"

"You're a little late to the party, silverfish," Set sneered. "Every duel against a Card Raider is an ante duel. You're lucky I only want your strongest card, and not your whole deck."

"Back off! You can't have her!"

Set sighed. "Fine, we'll do this the hard way." The silver pendent around his neck began to glow, as the Eye of Horus symbol within it came to life. "Tell me, Underwood, what scares you? On second though, don't tell me; I'm about to find out."

Weevil was, at this point, thoroughly convinced that his opponent was a lunatic. He was so focused on Set that he didn't notice the frogs gathering at his feet, until there were dozens of them.

He looked down and screamed. "Ah! Where did these come from?"

Set grinned. "What, you're not afraid of them, are you?"

Weevil backed against a wall as the frogs continued to swarm from nowhere. "Don't you like frogs? Big, slimy, frogs? They eat bugs, don't they?"

"Get them away from me!" Weevil screamed, panicking as the frogs began to jump on him, clinging to his shirt. "Get them off!"

Set looked a bit bored. "You know what I want, maggot boy. I brought them here, and I can take them away."

"Fine! Okay! Here!" He quickly tossed Set his Insect Princess card. As soon as Set caught it, the frogs vanished, having been only illusions. Weevil feel to the ground, gasping. "Wha...What are you?"

"Just a duelist, like yourself," Set chucked, sliding the card into a case he carried with him. "Love to chat, really, but I'm late for class." He lifted his Millenium Pendent and dropped it under his shirt, hiding it from view, then walked away.

Kiyoshi was sitting two seats behind Amber when Seto Kaiba arrived. For a reason not quite known to Kiyoshi, he felt an intense need to eavesdrop. It certainly wasn't any of his business, but for some reason, he simply couldn't divert his focus.

"Well," Set muttered to himself, his spirit within the pendent. "We've been found, partially. Interesting, interesting...Too bad for the Pharoah and his lackies that my Item is completely immune to other items; it can't even be detected. I'm sure Amber would be shocked to know that her mortal enemy is directly behind her."

He chuckled. "I'm sure that my host would be shocked to learn any of this. Sorry, Kiyoshi, but you've got to stay in the dark, so to speak."

Kiyoshi, on the outside, rubbed his eyes. He felt really, really tired....

Kiyoshi had entered the classroom, but it was Set who left, heading for the park.[/font][/size]

EARLIER THAT MORNING

Bree was in her bedroom getting ready for school and was about to leave when she glanced over at her computer and it showed she had just gotten a new e-mail. Bree walked over to the computer,at the same time trying not to trip over some of her unopened boxes, and sat down to check her mail.

"So what does it say," Arika asked as she appeared in front of Bree. "It says to meet Amber and the others in Domino Park after school, I guess we're going to get together and decide on something to do about this great evil you've been sensing," Bree said as she got up from the seat and walked over to her mirror. "Hurry it up!" Bree's sister Brooke said as she barged in her room. "You're going to be late to school if you don't get a move on." "Oh I'm coming," Bree said as she brushed her black and red bangs in front of her millenium band so no one could see it and then she headed out her room for school.

Bree walked into her homeroom class and looked around for an empty seat and found one in the back. She looked around the classroom and her attention was caught on a boy with black hair and he had a dice in his ear. "I like this school already," Bree said to herself as she blushed. The hours of school seemed to drag on forever but it was finally the end of the day and school let out. Bree headed out the school after stopping to her locker and headed straight for Domino Park.

When she got there she saw a number of people and recognized some from some of her classes. After listening to some of the other people's introductions she said,"My name is Bree Williams. Owner of the millenuim headband and host to Arika." "Nice to meet you," Amber said as she looked over at Bree. "And you should already know what this meeting is about but we can't start it until the others show."

[size=1][font=century gothic][b][i]Five Thousand Years Ago[/i][/b]

The hot Egpytian sun shone down upon the man as he raced through the sands, gasping for breath. Ahead of him, a village of neglible size rested, its inhabitants going about their daily routines.

Finally nearing the town, the runner stopped to catch his breath. A moment later, he let his news ring through the streets.

"Bandits! The Jackal bandits are coming!"

The village elder stepped forward as silence fell over the crowd. "Young man," he said softly. "Are you certain? The Jackals are the most blood-thirtsy pack of brigands in all of Egypt. You are certain that these horrible men are on their way here?"

The man nodded. "My brother and I...were traveling from one of the larger towns, and they cut us off. They slaughtered our camels, and beat my brother to death. They are most certainly coming this way!"

The elder frowned. "How long do we have?"

The runner grew quiet. "Ten minutes, maybe less. Their horde is just over the horizon..."

At this news, a single man with a telescope quickly scaled a small hut, looking over the desert sands. "They're on horseback," he reported. "Racing here...hes' right! They'll be here in minutes!"

"What are we going to do? We can't out run them!" A cry was heard from the crowd.

The elder considered this. "....We will pray."

As panic swept through the crowd, a single woman grasped her young son closer to her. "Mother," the boy, age seven, asked. "What's going to happen?"

Tears ran from the woman's eyes. "I don't know," she whispered. "But I will not let those animals harm you. Your father died of maleria when you were but an infant, and I promised myself that I would never lay another family member in his tomb."

She looked about, frantic. They couldn't run, and there was no way to defend themselves...nowhere to hide...

Or was there? In the back of the town was a small burial site, where an open grave lay; a man had unexpectedly pulled through his injuries within the past few weeks. She felt a sense of revulsion at what she was about to do, but there was no other choice. She would be killed, or worse, but her son would survive.

"Come with me! Quickly!"

They crossed the town, ignoring the terrified mobs that seemed to move with little purpose. There was a small crate in the streets, and the mother grabbed it, dragging it behind her.

They reached the gravesite, and the boy hugged his mother's leg. "Mother...what are we doing?"

She couldn't look at him. "May Ra forgive me for what I am about to do," she cried softly. "I love you, son."

"Mother, I don't under-"

With a swift motion, she shoved the boy in the crate, latching it shut. He screamed, terrified. "Mother! Let me out! Please!"

"i'm so sorry," she whimpered, pushing the crate into the grave. "But they won't find you here..."

She ignored the boy's screams as she shoveled the remaining sand over the crate. She finished just in time to look behind her, and see the first man slaughtered by the Jackals.

[b][i]Today[/b][/i]

Kiyoshi was in the park, at a simple bench in the shade, but for the life of him, he couldn't remember going there. It was as if he suddenly...arrived. His books were strewn about him, so he knew he'd come to study.

Shaking it off as an unusual but harmless bit of day-dreaming, he returned to his reading. Nearby, a unique group of individuals were gathering, but they wouldn't notice him. Who would notice a simple high school student reading in the park?[/font][/size]

"This sucks," said Vance under his breath. He glanced around the classroom, see that everyone seemed to be in their own LaLa Land. Vance checked his ear just to be safe, for it heats up at random points.

He raised his hand,"Teacher? May I go to the bathroom?" "Vance do you have to?"
"Yes sir." "Fine then." Vance stepped up to the teacher's desk and took the hall pass from him. Vance quickly rushed out of the room and out of the building using his Millennium Earring to create the illusion that he wasn't there.

Now that he was out of the building he rushed out to Domino Park to see what was going on there rather than school.

[B][I][COLOR=Navy]Karver was quietly sitting at his desk two seats behind Amanda in Math class. He had his head down, but quietly listening to the conversation between Amanda and Yolee.

"Amanda," Yolee said as she floated behind Amanda, "Don't forget about that e-mail!" Amanda let out a soft depressed sigh and looked at her nails. She seemed to acting the total oppisite of what she really was.

"Well," Koal quietly said as his red hair fell in front of his face, "Doesn't that sound interesting! Maybe someone is planning a meeting." Karver slightly looked over at Koal and shook his head. He knew what Koal was planning.

"Let me guess," Karver said as his red eyes foucsed on Amanda, "You want us to follow them." Koal slightly laughed as he crossed his arms.

"Oh course," Koal said as a evil grin crossed his face. Karver shook his head again. He coudn't believe Koal.

After school, Karver followed Amanda to the park. He quickly stayed out of sight. He couldn't take the risk of getting caught.

"Karver," Koal said as he looked over to a bench, "I sense something, but I don't know what." Karver looked over at the bench and spotted Kiyoshi. He wounder if he was there to spy to or what. He looked like a regular high school kid studying, but looks can be decieveing. Karver decided to go say hi and leave Koal to spy.[/COLOR][/I][/B]

[Redemption]

The slamming of the classroom door surprised Myrian as she read her book, waiting for the last bell of the school day to ring. She looked up crossly, seeing who made that infernal noise. Seto Kiaba strode into the room and looked around. She could see the Millennium Rod hanging at his hip. Yugi looked up from his book as well.
" Look who's here," Myrian whispered to him, glaring at Seto as he made his way over to Yugi.
" Hey Kaiba, what's happening?" Yugi asked in his normal happy way.
" Yugi. Domino Park after school. Amber wants you there," Seto replied bluntly. Myrian's eyes narrowed. She hated how Seto talked to Yugi in such a harsh tone. True Seto had seen Yugi as an enemy from the start but after many adventures and rescures, even he should have lightened up. With that, Seto turned on his heel and walked out the door, seconds before the bell rang.

Myrian stood behind Yugi timidly as they waited for the others in Domino Park. She only knew Joey, Tea, Tristan, Yugi and Seto. The others she wasn't so sure about. Her long black hair covered some of her brilliant green eyes.
" Myrian, you okay?" Joey asked, sensing her uneasiness.
" I'm just not a people person," she replied, flashing a friendly smile at him. He always cheered her up, especially with his idiotic antics at times. She moved herself to beside Yugi. He looked at her.
[I]Not a people person hey?[/I] Yugi said to Myrian through their mind link. She looked at him with discomfort on her face. [I] Don't worry. These people are nice if Amber sent for them.[/I]

[BEWD Kaiba]

[B][COLOR=Indigo]Renee was sitting next to Kiyoshi in class. She noticed that he seemed to be listening in on a conversation going on between Seto and Amber Kaiba. She really didn't like being nosey, but maybe she could find some interesting information out.

"So," Amber said as she looked at her brother, "did you tell Yugi like I nicely asked you?" Seto seemed really tense and really didn't wanna talk about it. Amber seemed to be a tad pushy though.

"Not yet," Seto said with a sigh, "I'll ask him to meet us at the park next period. I'm sure he'll happily agree." Amber smiled with Seto's words. She seemed highly pleased. Renee didn't for some odd reason.

"Did you hear that hon," Kila said as she appeared behind Renee. Renee nodded her head. She had heard everything and it seemed like Kiyoshi did too.

"What do you think it means," Renee asked as Kila floated to her side. Kila was grinning happily. She seemed to have something going through her mind.

?I think these goodie-two-shoes are planning a meeting,? Kila said evilly, ?and I think we need to crash it.? Renee looked slightly horrified as she looked over at Kila. She couldn?t believe she just said that.

?How ?bout this,? Renee questioned as she looked over at Seto, ?We follow Amber and Seto and only spy on them. We should find out some useful information that way.? Kila let out a depressed sigh and nodded her head. She wasn?t too fond of the sneaky approach, but it might actually work.

After school, Renee followed Seto and Amber to Domino Park. Yugi and friends were already waiting there for them. Renee quickly dodged behind a tree. She really didn?t want to be seen.

?So,? Kila said as she appeared behind Renee again, ?What now?? Renee slightly rolled her eyes as she stared at Seto. She seemed more interested in him then the meeting.

?We wait here and see what we can find out,? Renee said as her eyes slightly shifted to Kila, ?If we do get caught, I?ll act casual. What?s the harm of a normal high school girl walking in the park?? Kila slightly grinned at her host?s statement. She liked where this was going.

Set had left the classroom quickly, seeking the other Card Raider he knew was in his host's class. Renee? Yes, that was it.

He found her placing books inside her locker. "Hello there, Renee. Kila. How ya' doin'?"

The girl and her yami eyed him suspiciously. "Set?"

The boy smiled. "Yes; right on the first guess. Anubis kept the rest of you in the dark on your comrades, but I know exactly who you are. I trust you heard Seto's invitation?"

She nodded. "We were thinking of going, ourselves."

"You will," Set instructed. "I want as many of our people there as possible. Be careful, however; don't use your item. The last thing I want is to have my Raiders' identities compriomised. My Item is immune to detection, but yours may not be."

"I understand. So does Kila."

"Good, good. Stay alert. We'll be making our first move shortly, as soon as Lord Anubis learns about what they're planning."

He paused. "By the way, you're the only one who knows my hikari's identity. He's not aware that he's my host, so I'd appreciate it if didn't inform him of what's going on. Don't tell any of the others, either. I don't want the situation with Kiyoshi to become....complicated."

Renee nodded; sounded a little weird, but okay. "No problem."

"Good. See you around." Set left as quickly as he arrived.

Kiyoshi was completely surprised when Karver approached. "Oh, hello...can I help you?"[/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=1]Marius stood in the park watching the group meet," I figured following Seto Kaiba was a good idea." Avicus wispered to him."[/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=1]" Yes, Avicus you are right once again. Now, may we begin the assult?" Marius had ahabit of being impatient.[/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=1]"No. We must wait upon th eorder of Lord Anubis' spy, Set. Only he hasn't shown himself to us yet. He is the one I don't trust, but then a gain who do i trust?"[/size][/font]
[font=Verdana][size=1]" You trust me, Avicus, and remember I keep you willlingly, just rememebr that."[/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=1]Avicus silenced himself and the two went on watching. the group was getting larger, with many of them from the local high school.[/size][/font]

"It's Kiyoshi," Kiyoshi said as he countinued to shake Karver's hand. Karver slightly grinned and pulled his hand away. He didn't want to be rude, it's just............

"Nice to meet you Kiyoshi," Karver said as he put his hands in his pockets, "So, what ae you doing here?" Kiyoshi looked at Karver strangely and then looked down at his book.

"Studying," Kiyoshi said with a smile, "I guess." Now, Karver had the strange look on his face. What did he mean by I guess?

"I see no harm in that," Karver said as he slightly looked over near a tree to spot Renee, "It's always nice to have a relaxing envorinment to study in." Kiyoshi nodded his head in agreement and went back to his book. Karver turned around and quickly hurried back to Koal.

"What did you find out," Koal asked with a slightly irratated voice. Karver looked a little irratated himself. It was like he could punch anything at any moment.

"He's not who I thought he was," Karver said as he stared at Koal. Koal crossed his arms and got an evil look on his face.

"Don't be to sure of that," Koal said as he turned back to spy, "Keep an eye on him. He might not be who he seems." Karver let out an annoyed sigh and leaned against a tree. He kept a sharp eye on Kiyoshi, just in case.[/COLOR][/I][/B]

He walked up to them and saw a group of others, he noticed one had an unusual hairdo with the red, black and blonde.[/font]

" There are some extra people around. It doesn't feel right," Mryia warned, her eyes flashing side to side.

Bree, a new girl at their school, joined the group. She wore the Millennium Headband. Vance joined the group and finally Amber. Myrian analysed them closely. She knew Amber and Amanda were no threat. Bree, she didn't mind. Vance, she didn't know about.

[B][I][COLOR=Teal]Amber quickly glanced around the group. Bree, Myrian, Amanda, and Vance were there. There was only one person that hadn't showed yet. Amber let out a depressed sigh.

"Why such a long face," Joey questioned as he stared at Amber. Amber shook her head and let out another sigh.

"Not everyone's here," Amber said as she looked up at Joey, "but I can't wait much longer." Amanda looked up at Seto and then back at Amber. Bree looked at Vance. Vance just shrugged his shoulders. Myrian and Yugi looked at each other and shrugged thier shoulders.

"Well," Joey said as he walked up next to Amber, "Can't you tell us now and fill the other person in later." Amber looked at Joey with surprise. He usually couldn't come up with something that bright.

"I think that's an excellent idea," Bree said as she glanced over at Duke. Amber shook her head in disbelief. She then looked up at Joey.

"Good idea," Amber said with a nod of her head, "I'll fill you guys in now and fill in Mr. Late later. First thing I need you to do is get in a line if you're a duelist." Everyone hurrily started moving around. The were lining up in a nice line.

"Now what," Vance asked as he slightly looked at Myrian who was standing to his right. Amber slightly smiled and looked at the line. It started with Joey, Amanda, Seto, Bree, Yugi, Myrian, and ended with Vance. Tristan, Tea, and Duke stood off to the side.

"Great," Amber said with a smile, "I want you guys to know that dueling is everything. A lot of puzzle solveing and endurence will be required." Everyone started talking among themselves. They get didn't get it.

"What do you mean," Bree asked as a puzzled look crossed her face. Amber stopped smiling and shook her head. She forgot she didn't exsplain anything yet.

"Well........," Amber said as she trailed off. Something caught her attention. She did know if it was another Millennium Item or what, but something was out there. She got this odd feeling they were'nt alone.[/COLOR][/I][/B]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Myrian wondered what the hell Amber was doing. Myria was looking around suspiciously. She twirled one of Myrian's cards in her hand.
" Myria calm down," Myrian warned her yami. Myria looked sternly at Myrian.
" There's too many people around. And I sense Millinnium Items around, other than ours. Maybe I should..." she drifted off, looking at Myrian.
" No. We can't use our power in front of the guys. I think it might scare them," Myrian replied.

The boy was terrified, alternating between digging his way out of the ground and weeping profusely. Never had he ever felt such fear...

After what seemed like an enternity, his arms burst through the sand above him, and light flooded in the tiny cavern he'd made. When he pushed his head through, he realised something: his hair had turned completely white.

He quickly got out of the hole, examining the village; it was in shambles. The houses were on fire, the livestock was gone, and bodies lay every where.

"Mother?" he whispered. He looked behind him, and actually saw her. She was in the clutches of one of the Jackal bandits, and he wasn't taking 'no' for an answer.

Enraged and afraid, the boy looked around quickly, suddenly finding a discarded sword in the sand. Grabbing it quickly, he ran through the sand, hoisting the sword. He got there before the man noticed, and drove the sword into the back of his spine.

The man screamed and fell, much to the lad's satisfaction. "Mother? Mother, are you okay?"

The woman fell to the grouynd, and her son realised slowly that he was already dead. He fell to his knees and cried...

Jackal, leader of the bandits, arrived behind him. "Eh now, what do we have here?"

The boy picked up his sword in a rage, trying to stab the man. Jackal laughed and punched the boy, sending him flying. "Can't believe a freakish runt like you managed to kill one of my men."

"Shut up!" he screamed. "You killed them! You killed them all!"

"Yeah, we did, white head. And you killed one of us. But, don't worry." Jackal grinned wickedly. "You have potential, boy. You're coming with us."

With a movement of his hand, Jackal signed to another of his men to disarm and carry the boy. The child for his part struggled and howled with all of his power, refusing to go with such men. Finally, he was struck upside the head, and blacked out.

"You've got some of the devil himself in you, boy," Jackal chuckled. "So, we'll call you...Set."

Kiyoshi though that Karver was fairly strange, but within the Millenium Pendent, Set missed nothing that was occurring across the grass. The Pgharoah's lackies knew of them, but couldn't find them. Excellent.

Set was somewhat annoyed by Karver approaching his host, but he wouldn't act upon it and only encourage more interference. His host was completely unaware of what was going on, and he planned to keep it that way.

"So, Pharoah, let's see what, exactly, you've found out."[/font][/size]

Rei had been sitting in class thinking of the e-mail he recieved. His yami was anticipating it himself. "Meet in Domino Park, eh? Think we should go?" Rei laughed without realizing it and everyone in class turned to look at him. He just shrugged. Ridge sighed,"Idiot". Rei growled,"You're the smart one.. Do you think we should go? Hmmm?"

Ridge hadn't really been paying attention to his answe, he was still thinking about the message."Yah, sure..." Rei grinned,"Then it's decided! We'll go straight after school!" He covered his mouth when he realised he said it out loud. Everyone stared at him again,"Heh, heh. Whoops...."

He was walking directly to Domino Park and was holding his deck in his pocket, without thinking about it. Ridge smiled,"Nervous?" Rei shook his head,"Nah...More anxious than nervous. I wanna know what this is about." They arrived at the park and saw a group of people splitting into two groups. "Wonder what's going on?" He grinned suddenly. Ridge didn't laughed,'You sense it to?" Rei nodded,"Yah. Other millenium items...." He walked over to the group and grinned,"So....How's everybody doin'? My name's Rei."[/COLOR][/I]

"And who is this?", questioned Amber as she notice the flash of light when Dagger took over. "The name is Dagger...And this is the Millenium Earring.", said Dagger as he pointed to the golden earring on his left ear.

"Dagger quickly realized the same as Amber...... they weren't alone. In his mind Vance said to Dagger, "Dagger whats going on? Why did you take over?" "I don't know I sense something is here...here with us, something is not right.

'Uh huh.....", said Vance under his breath.

Soon Amber said to the group, "Something is here. Be on your guard!!!! Dagger quickly doubletaked around the park to check the area....Something was definately there.

Marius watched the others, he sould tell they were nervous about something.
" They know we are here, Marius." Avicus told him.
" No we could not have set them off, there must be others here. But where?" Marius asked his Yami, only to find several of the other school children away from the group.
" So they are the other Card Raiders." Avicus said.
" Yes it appears so."

"Listen everyone," Amber said as she got everyone's attention, "It's no longer save here. Follow me please!" Everyone quickly turned and started following Amber. They were all wondering where they were going.

"Where are we going," Vance asked as he followed behind Rie. Amber didn't say anything at first. She then suddenly turned around.

"I can't tell you," Amber said as she looked at Vance, "but you can do me a favor. Can you create the illusion that we're invisable? It should get whoever is here off our trail." Vance blinked a couple of times and then smiled.

"Of course," Vance said as his earring activated. Everyone looked around exspecting something to happen, but everything stayed to same. Well, it visable stayed the same. Magically, the space around them changed.

"Thank you very much Vance," Amber said as she smiled and nodded, "Now, let's countinue on shall we." Everyone nodded and started following Amber again.

A few minutes later, the group was standing in front of Kaiba Corp. Seto looked a little uneasy. He didn't really like where Amber took everyone.

"Well," Amber said as she walked up to the doors, "We'll countinue in here. First, you guys can use the john or something else before we start. Also, meet me at the very top floor when you're done. Any questions?" Everyone shook their heads and started heading into Kaiba Corp. Amber let out a sigh and started walking in as well.

Myrian looked around at Bree and Amanda. She felt like such a loner. Her only friends were Joey, Tristan, Tea and Yugi. She wanted to make friends with these others but unfortunately, she was too shy.
" Myrian, why don't you go up and talk to them?" Yugi asked her as they walked in.
She blushed. " No way. They don't want to be friends with me."
" Here you go again, always so negative about yourself. Can't you lighten up once?"
She blushed even more red. " No."

Dagger slowly made his way out of the illusion and said to the group approaching, "Come with me if you wish to be with your friends." He waved his hand for them to come with him. When Dagger disappeared into the illusion the group followed him in.

Human beings are incredible creatures, able to adapt quickly to new enviornments or circumstances. So it was with the white-haired boy who'd survived the Jackal Bandit's raid. Although Set, as Jackal had named him, was initially an object of ridicule amongst the other bandits, he eventually grew into the most capable and prominant member of their pack, second only to Jackal himself.

However, time changes all things, and Jackal's planned raids began to become more and more ineffective as he lost his edge. However, out of all the Jackals, only Set had the courage to say this.

He said it repeatedly as they fled from the Pharoah's soldiers.

"They're gaining, Jackal! What are you going to do about it?"

The elder bandit scowled at the boy, now twenty-two. "We'll escape into the dunes, like we always do, Set. Don't forget your place."

Set's horse matched speed with Jackals as they gallopped along the desert sand. "My place is anywhere that isn't the palace dungeons, and if you lead us into another trap like that, we can all kiss our heads goodbye!"

Jackal looked at the group of bandits riding behind them, and mentally took stock. All were there, and the palace guards had given up the chase. Excellent.

"We escaped, didn't we? What more do you want?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe some loot," Set snapped. "Jackal, you're the mastermind of a hundred raids; maybe it's time to let someone new plan a job."

The older man scoffed. "Like you?"

"Exactly. Tell me, Jackal, how would you like to raid the treasury of the Pharoah himself?"

The bandit's eyes grew wide. "Keep talking."

From within the Millenium Pendent, Set clearly saw through the invisibile field surrounding the Pharoah's minions; Lord Anubis had the good sense to make his Millenium Item immune to all other items. However, Kiyoshi didn't have that immunity, and even if he did, Set didn't want to take control of the boy out in the open, and blow his cover.

As long as there was no connection made between the leader of the Card Raiders and this quiet, introverted student, Set could opperate with a great deal more freedom.

Sending a strong mental signal to Kiyoshi that it was time to leave, Set plotted his next move. It was clearly time to gather the other Card Raiders; first blood would be theirs.

Kiyoshi was walking home when the dizzy spell hit; he blacked out as Set took control. Set sent a simple message to the other Card Raiders via their Millenium Items: Gather. By sending a resonatting beacon from the Pendant, he was confident that they would find their way to him.

Set was waiting for the other Card Raiders in an empty wearhouse on the edge of the city. He'd procured a decent sounde system, and was blarring heavy metal from two large speakers. In the center of this little lair was a large table, and five chairs. On the table were five boxes, each containing a Kaiba Corp. duel disk. Once the others arrived, the raid could begin.[/size][/font]
