You don?t understand
You don?t get what makes me, me

We have creative differences
But you don?t appreciate mine

How can with you breathing down my neck?
Always telling me what to do
I have to do it your way
Or my life is through
I like things in an order
But you just don?t get it
All you see is a mess
You could never understand it
You say you love me but you don?t
You hate the person that I am
You say you really care
But its just another scam
I can?t have it my way
You?re always telling me what to do
You wish I were a different person
You wish I were you
But I am who I am
I have my own style
If you?re hoping that I?ll change
You?ll have to wait a while
I don?t care what you say
What you want me to be
I like the way I am
This is the real me
So just give up
Just step back

I got into a fight with my mom. It was terrible!
She was pissed cause my rooms a mess
Well not now or at least in my opinion
I'm a poet and have cetain things I do for inspiration
she doesn't understand
My soul must be in darkness and in a clump of things to fly free
I wrote this poem when i was crying and really pissed
