Two massive silhouettes are seen cruising over the ocean, their hulls dwarf a luxury ship that passes them on the way back to the mainland, as the passengers look out their windows they see only the gray hulls passing by them at a slow speed. On the outside these ships look very quiet and calm, but that would be a lie to say the least.

The inside of these ships are buzzing, the first ship which is named "Crusader" is heading towards the Guam island chain. In its corridoors people are miling about while some are in the crew lounge sipping styrofoam cups of coffee. In one of the corridoors on deck 4 sub section B in room 332, a young man is laying on his bed twirling a shuriken with nimble dexterity. As he looked around he glanced at a picture of his parents, his father with his usual "Mr. Stern Asian guy" look, while his mother had that soft spanish look about her. Smilling a little, José sat up and looked at the laptop that was glowing softly in the dimly lit room. Standing up and popping his knuckles a little, José walked over towards the computer and pressed a few keys, he was soon taken to a large roster of names. Plucking a few more keys, he was then taken to another screen with the names in ordered groups, again he pressed keys and this time he was taken to a window that had his name at the top and the people under his command following, he hadn't had enough time to read all of their profiles while he was boarding the ship but José thought that now would be a perfect time. Clicking the first person's name which was a young girl named Kaira Lei, her profile picture displayed a young girl that didn't look like she belonged in this army, but instead working for one of the gaming companies in Japan. The next name was rather interesting, it read Marcus Arden. His biography said that he was the creator of the tranquilizer guns. José was about to acess more of this guy's file but then an e-mail showed up on his screen, clicking it he discovered it was from John Hammond himself it read:

Dear José Perez

I know that you are being given orders by InGen to take these dinosaurs captive and such but I beg of you not to, these animals are far more dangerous than the ones from Costa Rica, espeically the T-Rex, it was developed with different DNA and it may not respond to the tranquilizers. Please avoid contact with these animals if possible.

John Hammond

Smiling a bit, José remembered when he'd met John Hammond; it had been brief but the man obviously liked José and the feeling was mutual, though José wasn't too pleased that Hammond was the person who'd been the one to come up with the idea to actually create live dinosaurs.

Finally, José stood up from his computer and grabbed his tan trenchcoat that he wore only when he was not required to be in uniform and headed towards the bridge. As he proceeded down the hallway he passed by the crew lounge and saw the young girl in his platoon, the young Kaira Lei. Walking in he nodded towards a couple of his old military friends that joined the InGen army and headed towards the girl, she had her own laptop and was typing so fast that José thought that if he were to watch her fingers fly about he'd go blind. Sitting in the table next to Kaira was a cup of coffee which she grabbed with her left hand and sipped as she typed with her right. Clearing his throat, José waited for her to answer.

As Kaira sipped mindlessly at her coffee she could have sworn she heard a noise behind her, she ignored it at first and continued typing, her nimble fingers skimming over the keyboard.
"Ahem..." Jose coughed a bit more firmly this time, catching the Chinese girl's attention at last.

"Oh, Mr. Perez, Sir!" She looked flustered and stammered slightly, embarrassed that she had totally ignored her Commanding Officer. A few strand of raven hair fell about her face as she bowed her head, still blushing from the incident.

Jose chuckled slightly and prodded her head; she lifted it and smiled sheepishly.

"No matter, I'm sure you were.... concentrating..." the young man looked to the laptop, half expecting it to be on fire and shook his head.
"What exactly were you doing that was so urgent?"

Kaira laughed slightly and stood up, closing her laptop,
"I was writing to my family...there is quite a lot of us." she laughed again and Jose nodded; now he really thought that this woman didn't belong here.

"So, what did you want, Sir?"

"I was just stopping in to check up on my platoon members, this is my first time as captain." José said smiling a little. Kaira was still blushing slightly and José realized he must have made her really uncomfortable but his roster had said that she was to be his tactian,"Also, I was coming by to tell you that you'll be needed in the briefing room in about...." Just then the ship-wide announcement system came on. "Will all officers of Platoons A-D please meet in the briefing room. I repeat, will all officers of Platoons A-D please meet in the briefing room." José looked over at Kaira who was already folding up her laptop.

"Ah, I see you were already ahead of me on the schedule." She let out a nervous chuckle and proceeded out the door followed by José who was back to twirling one of his Shurikens around in his hand.

Meanwhile on the bridge, the Captain of the "Crusader" was pacing rather heavily, he'd been told that he was going to be providing quarters for InGen's army and then the massive cargo hold at the front of the ship was to hold several different species of dinosaurs that InGen had created in its Guam facilities. The captain remembered that he'd been off duty in San Diego when InGen had actually taken the male T-Rex and the infant from the Costa Rica facility and the amount of hell it had caused; he in fact had been in San Diego when the T-Rex went on its rampage and killed several people, at first the captain didn't want to believe that InGen had actually allowed Hammond to make such a terrible creation but when the facts settled in he realized that InGen at the time was at the height of its power and didn't care what the U.S. Government had wanted and carelessly flaunted any attempts to keep control of their money, thus Hammond was able to make what he made in Costa Rica, but if this island had newer speices along with species similar to the Costa Rican facility, then there would be a true living hell. While he was lost in thought he didn't notice the young ensign behind him, that was until he bowled the kid over who then quickly stood up and handed him a note that simply said Genarro was on the line. Letting out a snort of semi-disgust the captain walked over to a doorway which led into a cramped hole in the wall which was supposed to be his ready room. Picking up the phone, the captain heard Genarro's voice.

"Captain, have you reached the halfway mark yet?"

"Yes Mr. Genarro, we are actually past it and are making decent time, we should arrive at the Guam facility in aproximately 12 hours, though I think we'll follow procedure and see if we can do anything to locate the staff of the.." At that moment Genarro's voice went dead serious, "Captain, the staff on that island are more than likely dead than alive, the Guam facility has more species of dinos than that of the Costa Rica facility by far. I suggest you go ahead with protocol and start sending in your platoons. Also, another ship is tailing you and should arrive maybe an hour or two behind you, its towing a barge that will carry some of the larger saurapods, this barge also doubles as a land rover vehicle so you shouldn't worry about hauling some of these dinos out manually. But anyways captain, I trust that all of your crew have been informed not to go on deck when the ship lands?"

"Yes Mr. Genarro, I have informed my men about the Ceradactyls but I cannot be responsible if one of these TEENAGERS goes out there because their curiosity got the best of them." Obviously pissed the Captain proceeded on his rant at Genarro.

"How can you people give me a full crew of kids!? I mean honestly, these kids don't even look like they should even be in this place, let alone in this dangerous of a situation. If you wanted this job done so well why the fucking hell didn't you send a ship of people who knew what the fuck they were doing!? Jesus christ man do you not have the feeling that you might be sending these kids on a one way trip to death?!" At that Genarro replied even more coldly. "Captain, I am not the one who makes the decisions, for your information I voted against sending so many young people into this kind of situation, but the CEO has lost his head entirely, personally I think it would have been best if we'd givien your ship a hydrogen bomb and the other ship one as well and sent you to the Guam facility and the other to the Costa Rican facility and decimated both of them. But I can't really do that so I'm in a dammed if you do dammed if you don't situation so don't lecture me on the damn crew manifest! Good day!" And with that the phone line went silent and the captain placed the reciever down, walked over to his liqour cabinet and poured himself a glass of whiskey. This was going to be one long ass mission.

José on the other hand had found a decent seat in the massive briefing room and was amazed at the technology that had been installed there, but what really caught his attention was that Marcus Arden was standing at the center of the room about to give the mission briefing, quickly settling in he sat down to listen to the briefing.

*claps hands* I was wondering when this would start! :) I was going to leave Herich an NPC, but if that's not good I'll change it.

Vlad sat in the lounge sipping some coffee. It tasted like dirt, but the caffine helped calm his nerves. He had just left the briefing room and the information overloaded his every sense. Dinosaurs, real living Dinosaurs. He heard about the incident in Costa Rica, but still, that was just the weird magazines that gave people their kicks. Vlad really didn't care for that kind of literature, prefuring real literature.

He took another sip. It actually was kind of funny. He had always been interested in Archeology and one of his favorite past times was to take models of dinosaurs and give them "skin". He had used a very ranged spectrum of colors, but this was the chance of a lifetime. He would finally be able to see what these great beasts actually looked like.

"Dis whole ting must be a joke." Vlad muttered under his breath, his accent heavy. He had no intention of believing Cpt. Arden, but if they were fake why would they need an army to stop them? That was the question haunting him as he sipped the coffee.

He personally was under the command of Cpt. Herich. He seemed ok, but you never went with the first introduction as he father had taught him. As he sipped up the last of the coffee he remebered wht he had heard in the briefing.

"You lucky group have the pleasure of serving the InGen corperation in destroying an island of dinosaurs. Yes I am talking about real live dinosaurs. You know big, big teeth, real vicious? ... Well, you are lucky enough to have a sniper backing you up. He will also serve as you lookout, but most of the time he will be with you on the ground trying to survive like the rest of you."

Vlad smiled at the last comment. If if he thought that Vlad would reduce himslef to the grunts level, he had another thing comming.
