[I]To kill one you love for power is a sin too great to bear. Those who commit this deed are condemned to the lowest pits of hell. But what if they gained the power...what if they attained the hellish strength that comes from the deed? Would you side with them, and drink the blood of innocents? Or would you oppose them, and become love's avenger? To drink blood is no terrible sin, when it is for the better good. Will you draw swords with or against the nightmare? Where will your final scream be heard?[/I]

The vampires in the regions have been subdued, due to the Blood Wars between the humans and vampires. Most have agreed to live peacefully with the humans. A few were executed. Many have settled to their lives, even marrying a human. But, one who never quite accepted this alliance seeks to break it all. It is said that should a vampire drink the blood of one they love, they gain untold power. But to kill one you love is a horrible sin, and most would not chance it. But, Valminderoth, a young vampire, has murdered his wife and drank her blood. He now flees, with both races following. He flees to Nor Glacier, where he can complete the ritual and become a God of hatred and shadow. But he is followed by vampires and humans alike. The race has begun for the souls of all, but it is said that only one will survive the chase.

((Alrighty...if you didnt follow all of that (i used very dramatic grammar in a few sentences) then heres the basic plot: A vampire, Valminderoth, has killed his wife, following the rites of an ancient ritual. He has fled to Nor Glacier, where he will complete the ritual and supposedly become a god. He has a pack of humans and vampires after him though, and now a race has ensued. Join as one of the vampires or humans. Though they live peacefully with each other, many still have some prejudice against each other. The catch to the race is that it is said that only one of the group will survive the ordeal. Wanna play? :devil: ))

Personality: Proud of his heritage, he is unfortunetaly cursed with a raging temper and bloodthirsty (bad pun!) nature. He enjoys nothing more then a good free for all, especially against a powerful opponent. His tendency to throw himself into battle makes others believe he has a death wish.
Weapons: Claws, two daggers, a short sword, and a blade etched with runes that glow whenever blood is spilled nearby.

Name: Father Eric a.k.a. Angel of Death

Gender: male
Appearance: Most people that know him now see him in white clerical robes, bearing a symbol that marks him a holy man. His smiling grey eyes, kind benevolent face and greying black hair carry with them a seemingly infinite wisdom. Even young vampires come to him for advice and to see the priest people speak so highly of. Most people have never seen the scar riddled, muscular frame of a warrior hidden beneath those calm white robes. Those of years past, that know the true Eric, have seen him clad in shimmering chain, with silver plating addorning the chest, legs and arms.

Personality: Those that know him as Father Eric know him to be a kindly, wise, and devout, priest, and are never afraid to ask anything of the helpful, aging man. Those that never age, those that are old enough know better. The older vampires know of Eric the 'Angel of Death', who's sword was delivered unto him from the high heavens, so that he may slay the corruptors of life. They know the warriors fire that burns deep within him, the divine wrath that brought final death to the vampires in his path. They know that he stands ready for the call to arms against the vampires, should it ever sound.

Weapons: Angels Tear- The sword delivered unto Eric from the heavens above, during the height of the battle before the truce. When Eric burns with the divine wrath, so to does the Holy blade.

Cross shield- they say that faith is a shield, For eric it is also a weapon. His metallic shield is decorated with crosses of Iron, each tip ending in an outward pointing spike, burning with punishment for the undead flesh of vampires.

Appearance: Albert stands above most men. He has long, orange hair that hangs by his shoulders. Also, he wares a pointed black hat. (Think warlock!) Finding metal plated armour to be far to heavy and cumbersom, Albert merley wares a long grey cloak, that further adds to the mystery of his air. Almost always seen with a crossbow in hand or drapped over his back. Also, a long-sword hangs at his belt. Shin-boats of black leather and long black leather pants.

Personality: Albert, though not over-zealous, is a devot follower of God. He thinks of him self as a bit of a Paladin, Albert is an outspoken warrior, who always enjoys pointing out the flaws in the Rookies techniques. Off the battlefield, however, Albert is a quite, collected man who rarley speaks to others. Straightforward thinker, Albert is not one to lose his cool. Although he dose not agree with the Treaty, fealing that the Vampires do not deserve a place on the earth, Albert fights with the will and ambition to accomplish the deed.

Weapons:
'Weeper': A special crossbow, it is a special design that can fire three bolts in rapid sucsession. It has considerable stoping power, and, becouse of its special spring-loaded desing, it never needs to be cranked.
"Lil' Marquez": A longsword crafed for Albert only, it is spcially fitted to his hands and technique. Fastest in the hands of Albert, Lil' Marquez is a deadly weapon many Vampires have come to fear over the years.
