Fall
Has anyone ever gotten themselves into a deadly situation before? Here's mine: :( :( :( :( I was going fishing with my dad and 2 of my brothers. We drove down to the river, and dad started carrying the dinghy down the bank. My brother started running down the bank. But what he didn't know was that there was a cliff just infront of him.He ran, and all of a sudden just dropped. But somehow managed to grab hold of the top of the cliff, and was hanging on with one hand.I saw him, and ran down to help him.I grabbed his hand, and tried to get him back up onto the ledge. But he was too heavy, and I slipped. But I grabbed hold of the cliff, luckily. So now it was my brother hanging onto my leg, and me hanging ontot the cliff. My dad dropped the dinghy, and went to help us, aswell as my little brother following him........... My dad got us up. But if I didn't hang on, my brother and I most pobably would've died, as the cliff was about 20 metres high, and below the cliff there was a raging river............... Anyone else had a encounter like that before?

SaiyanPrincessX
Yes,when I was 10 my familly and I went camping out in the desert of Arizona. We were hiking up this bis mountain,in a thhunder storm(which now that I think about it,that was pretty stupid),anyways,I was walking then suddenly, stopped, screamed and backed up.... My mom, dad, little brothe, and his friend ran over to me. Thier was a average size rattle snake curled up in front of me.. My dad shot it. That day we saw 5 Rattle snakes,2 Scorpions,5 Tarangulas. I'm serious. My brother has a couple times, once he fell of the back of my dads truck an landed head first onto a big rock(he was 3). He was taked to the hospital, which was an hour away. We lived in Showlow,Arizona at that time, its one of those places where it takes along time to just get into town..

mornigndew
LM, you're been through a lot When I was in my country, I was around 6 or 7, I was curious about the farm, so I sneak to the farm land, and fell into the fish pond/river, it's very deep. The water carried me away, and I held on to a branch of the tree (I can't remember cleary). I scream for help, and no one was there, I'm too small, and I can't swim. At the movement I thought I would died, someone walk by and get me up.

Shy
Yesterday, it was my mom. Before that it was my friend Nick, and then my grandma, and then my friend Steves mom, and then my mom again, I can't really remember past that... I think it was my cousin, not too sure though. All of these have happened in about a 5 week period too. I am terrified of getting in a car with another driver, but nobody ever gets hurt so its okay. SSJ5 Vegeta
I've really been in a deadly situation because I have never put myself in one. I am cautious and think logically and sensibly. My friend Gavin however was in a deadly situation once. Before he moved down to where I live he lived in a really bad part of town in his city and one time a dude pulled a gun on him. My friend Gavin literally dodged a bullet. The dude began to pull the trigger, and having excellent reflexes Gavin dodged and instant before the gun went off, he then beat the holy hell out of the guy with the gun, then took out 10 of the guys punk friends all by himself. Lesson in this matter, when in deadly situations it helps to have an expert knowledge of martial arts such as Gavin does.
SaiyanPrincessX
When I was 13 I got Phonimonia(from Trick O' Treating in cold weather:rolleyes: ),I had a temperture of 103 or so. NorykoAngelcry
Hmm. . . well, I can't say that I have been in ANY situation as rough as all of you, but I can just reply with what I know. Ok, when I was very young, like 4 - 6 years old, I would swing on our swings outside my home (when I lived in Michigan). I would constantly fall out of the seat backwards, and slam my head into the ground, giving myself concussions on a regular basis. I say this laughing now, because my mom told me she used to freak out as she watched me get up a few seconds later, and hop back on the swings. She says I had a guardian angel with me (she is HUGE into God and the Bible. . sorry if that offends anyone) that kept me safe. Well, one day in the kitchen (still around 4 - 6 years old), I was sitting on the back of a seat while my sister was actually sitting in the chair. I don't remember why, but I fell out backwards, and slammed the back of my head against the corner of the molding in the frame of the doorway. My head got split open, and I needed like 12 stitches for the injury. Doctors said I was very lucky that it wasn't serious. For car accidents? ^_^ Well, first one, I was driving a full size van (My pimp ride if you will. . hehe)back from a friends house, and for some reason, I sort of phased out the road while talking to a friend. He sort of got this quizical look on his face and was like "Uhh, Aaron?" I was like What?! when I looked forward, and slammed on the brakes. I hit a total of 4 cars (5 including my van). Nothing was serious, but they were so close that all of them were hit. Bad thing was that I couldn't have avoided it. Oncoming traffic to the left, and a foot drop off to the right (construction was being done to the road at the time), so I had no way to avoid it. Second accident, I was driving my station wagon (I know, I had some wierd cars. . *shrug* But now I drive my 1994 Oldsmobile Achieva - AWESOME CAR!!)coming back from Home Improvement. I was driving sort of fast, but didn't think anything about it. My brother (second oldest) was reading a magazine, and I was reading from behind the wheel, LOL. Anyways, I got over a decent sized hill, and noticed a car stopped in front of me >_< Well. . . 5 car wreck this time (6 including MY car). Same instance again, since it was on the same road as my first. There was construcion being done, and I could not get out of the way at all. Again, no one seriously hurt, but there definitely could have been. I am pretty glad that everything worked out - well, besides our insurance dropping our family after a few weeks later ^_^ Opps As for falling out/off a car =) One time, a friend of mine (lived in the same neighborhood as me) stopped by my house, and I ran out to get in his car. Well, he was playing around, not letting me in, so I hopped on the back of his Camaro (oh yeah, smart idea me). Well, he thought it was funny, and took off. I was slowly lossing my grip (well, there was absolutely NOTHING to hold onto back there) and tried to get him to stop with no avail. I was slowly getting closer and closer to falling off, when I decided to try my luck at jumping and running (Oh yeah, great idea number 2 right there). Well, I got about two steps in before I fell, and slid forward for about 3 feet (maybe much more). My hands were tore up, and my stomach and knees were both ripped up bad as well. I am very lucky nothing more serious happened, but trust me, I didn't hop on the back of his car again (what? I am not the brightest crayon in the box you know) :D Ok, not sure how many people this has ever happened to, but I have woken up MANY times, unable to swallow, or even breath or move. This is the most horrifying experience that I have ever gone through. I felt as if I was going to die sometimes, but after a while, everything gets better, and well, I get over it. But some of the most terrifying moments have been when I would wake up like this. . . All I can think of for now (ohhh) There was this one time in a cave, where a bunch of friends and us lost the path we had taken up, and I sorta got a bit freaked as if - What if we never get out? - Oh man/woman, was I hungry then (what does this have to do with being lost? *shrug*)
Neko_Cat
I was horseback riding one day, then all of a sudden my horse started rearing up and trying to throw me off. This probably wouldn't have been so bad except there was a small ditch behind us and a large road behind that, and cars don't exactly pay attention when they're coming round at 100 miles per hour. I knew that if we somehow ended up on that road, that was it. A horse is a huge target for some crazy person in a new car, and there were enough of them around there. The horse continued to rear and backed into the ditch, then continued to back out onto the other side-right into oncoming traffic! I got a really weird feeling and the next thing I knew I took control of the reins, gave the horse a kick and she jumped back over the ditch just in time. I can tell you I was so scared I didn't know whether to start yelling or start crying. One other thing that happened was when me and my friend where crossing a street and the light changed while we were in the middle. The people in the cars started zooming past as if we weren't even there, despite the fact that we couldv'e touched the hoods as we were walking past. My friend was standing there but I just grabbed her hand and took off running, we both made it across without getting hurt, but it shook us up a bit. Then another time we were standing too close to the curb and had a "Final Destination" experience with a bus- it was about an inch from our noses. And then there was the time I was crossing the street by myself, the light said walk and I was walking across, then these people in their car turned a corner-I guess they didn't see me- and ended up two feet from me, stopping just in time not to hit me. I dunno, either I'm extremely unlucky or extremly lucky, you decide.:excited: :cross: :D
Neko_Cat
Besides all that, I've been in several car accidents where I was in the car, but the most I've gotten is some bruises, thank goodness.
Turkey
I can only think off 2: 1)A few months ago, I saw a little cute dog. He was so cute I had to pet him. When I did, he began barking and out of nowwhere a big pack of Pitbulls appeared. They chased me until a car was coming towards me. For some messed up reason I jumped towards the car. I should consider myself lucky, since the dogs left me and all I got was a lot of bruises and a sprained wrist. 2)My neighbor is a drug dealer (no j/k), and there have been quite a few shootouts in my street (lucky me:rolleyes: )... Navi
people are in deadly situations when they cross the street..get in a car..... i don't swim that good...so me and my friend went to a pool and she coaxed me to the deep end where she would "teach" me how to float. i held on to the sides of the pool and grabbed on to her while she swam in the middle of the deep end. she told me to hold my breathe, and she put her arms under my back for support. then she let go and i paniced. i sunk down with my arms and legs thrashing and i opened my eyes in the water. i saw the sun above me and thought "so...this is how im going to die?". i looked around and saw her thrashing legs and somehow i got up and grabbed onto her hair and arms. she helped me back to the side and said she thought i was joking when i said i couldn't swim. she was my best friend then and she still is now. what a nice person i am. :bawl:
