[SIZE=1][I]Protosis smiled at the sharp blade sat on his lap and ran his slim fingers across it. His reflection could be seen in the thick blade, the reflection of a black haired psycho with devil eyes and a devil?s grin. He lowered his head beneath the collar of his coat and dropped his smirk.

?We?ll make a jump in two days.? He said quiet business like. Protosis jumped to his feet and looked over into the corner of the stone room at another man leading in the dark. His second hand man, his demon of the dark? Marrek. Even though Marrek was in the shadows, his metal armoured right arm and long red trench coat could still be seen, but his red eyes where the worst. Marrek was a human, but than again he was almost a demon.

?That?s a bad idea.? Marrek muttered. ?Two of us, lots of them.? He added. Protosis shook his head calmly and behind him came a dog-like creature. Its paws were metal with blood red wires running through them and patches of metal on its brown wolf-like face.

?No, three. And four when we get your egg, of course. Plus you have that? oh, what?s it called again???

?The Devil Eye.? Marrek finished.

?That?s it. You can protect us from all the nasty little creatures. We?ll over power them. It?s easy, simple enough for a dog to understand. So, we go in, you go one way, I go the other. First one to find the egg jumps back first, and we?ll only have five days at the maximum. Don?t doubt me, Marrek, I never lose, one way or the other??[/I]

[CENTER][B][U]Chapter One[/U]
For the first time, Protosis makes a jump into an age of Dinosaurs in search of an egg, which is the only one of its kind of possibly the most powerful Dinosaur of all time. He travels with another man named Marrek and a half dog-like wolf and a half machine. Though his true task with this strange egg is unknown, he has to be stopped at every turn. On an island ruled by Dinosaurs, is it possible to find one egg out of them all? The only way to stop Protosis is to find him first.[/B]

Welcome, to the RPG! The first chapter will begin now. More information about it will be given as we go along, and I?d like everyone to post at least once before we make the jump. Well, instead of keeping you waiting, I?ll get going with the start post. Any questions, ask in the Underground![/CENTER]

IC:

Sarek was layback with his arms folded across his chest and staring at Dave under the long metal control panel cursing his head off. His jeans and white shirt had gotten full of oil and muck when the poor guy had to fix something in the engine room, and now Dave was blaming Sarek for the sudden loss of power on the 3rd floor.

?Sarek, the next time I see you on my leather car at my control station I?ll shove wrench up your as-? Sarek interrupted Dave with a sigh.

?I see no reason to stand here and be insulted?? Sarek growled back. Dave crawled out from under the station and straightened his messy brown hair then adjusted his glasses. The control room was large with panels and keys all over the place and a large black view screen in front. There was a large circular space in the middle, which was normally where they gathered and listened to Dave explaining things.

?You should be the one here fixing this! If you didn?t come from the freezer you?d be the one full of oil and crawling under the wires!? Dave snapped back getting to his feet. Dave was short and skinny, with thin glasses and rough brown hair. He wasn?t important to the group, but he was a genius and basically kept everything running around the place. Sarek sighed again and shook his head.

?I fail to see how my home as any part of this discussion.? He said. Dave shook his head.

?You fail to see how your stubborn and negative attitude can make a living hell for all of us!? Dave growled again and slammed his glasses into his shirt and began to wipe them clean. ?The next time you decide to go around breaking-? Sarek cut off Dave, again.

?I am not responsible for the malfunca-?

?Oh, yes you are!? Interrupted Dave. ?You blew out the power cell on the 3rd floor by trying to get the light working!?

?That was not the case, I was trying to-? Sarek began, but Dave cut in again.

?Sabotage my good work!? He snapped angrily. Sarek sighed heavily. He turned around and headed away while Dave continued to rant on while trying to fix the controls, not aware that Sarek was leaving the room. He walked to the black doors, which open automatically and turned as he heard Dave swear loudly, and then continued towards the lift at the end of the corridor. He past two large black doors, the study room and one door leading to a bunch of science labs. Sarek himself had no interest in science. It was confusing; it always had to be logical. Sarek could solve a problem without science, after all, science couldn?t explain why the changes they made in the past haven?t affected the future, or why Sarek survived, or why Protosis does all the things he does. Science meant nothing to Sarek. Besides, how could he know exactly which chemical to pick up? Most have the same temperature to him, and he could only see the colour red, it would be pointless!

As he went towards the lift, Canathael passed him, giving Sarek a polite nod, but Sarek didn?t return it, he just walked past him. He walked into the lift, which was very bright indeed and sighed again. It was a small lift, but big enough for him. On the side was a small padd with four numbers on, and Sarek instantly punched the button for the 4th floor. All the new technology and other things seem a little too high-tech for Sarek; even though the technology he wore everyday was far more advanced. He was used to an icy environment and murderous creatures all over. What was heaven seemed more like Hell?

Then again, a few of the others had it worse. The Medieval boy and the Chinese lady had it hard. All the abnormally new stuff and the time travel things? not to mention everyone had to carry around a small silver flip-up box to communicate with everyone else, but that would be handy since it would function through timelines to keep in contact with Dave.

The lift suddenly came to a halt at the ground floor of the ship and Sarek walked out along the corridor. He might as well pass the time doing some training with himself. He didn?t spar with anyone else; he would rather spar by himself than anyone else. He walked along the corridor and turned into a large room with mats, targets, benches and everything a man, or women needed to train. The room was empty, and that pleased Sarek. He sat down on a bench in front of a few white towels and glanced around the room again. The sparring area of sword fighting area was separated by a metal cage-wall so no one would collide, but so far not many had used it.

As Sarek was pondering what he could do next, he heard an annoying beeping noise on his belt. The communicator? Sighed, Sarek picked the small silver box from his belt and flicked it open.

?What?? He snapped.

?I found another problem with the panel you broke. The temperature is dropping on the 4th floor, I know you?re there so you better find the nearest panel in the room you?re in.? Dave?s voice crackled through and Sarek nodded to himself. He looked around the room then noticed a small panel near a sword rack. It was hard to see, but still visible. The temperature was dropping since his sight was becoming cloudy, but once below 0 degrees he could see clearly again.

?I see it.? Sarek replied. He ran his hands over the buttons there and blinked as his vision worsened. It must?ve been near enough 0 degrees.

?Flick the blue switch up.? Dave said. Sarek cocked his head to the side and stared.

?I don?t have that inferior vision of yours, you mind telling me which one?s blue?? Sarek growled back. Dave insulted him, even though he didn?t say anything that could be insulting.

?How the heck do I know? Try the middle one.? Dave snapped back at him. Sarek cocked his head again and stared at the middle of the three. His vision stared to clear up which indicated a sudden drop in temperature. Without further thought of the matter he flicked up the middle one and awaited Dave?s reply. ?Right that?s it. Go back to whatever you where doing.? Dave finally replied. The communication ended with a crackling noise, and Sarek thought nothing more of the matter and went back to his bench.[/SIZE]

Canathael sighed as the lift made its ascent. The whole time he had been here he felt so alone. Seldom did he see the other passengers, and those he met weren't the kindest he's come accross.

The man named Dave was always finding something to complain about, and he didn't always have patience with Canathael's missunderstandings. Canathael had made it a point to avoid The man called Dave, at least untill he could present himself in a more appropriate manner as far as knowlege was concerned.

The only other resident of the ship that he had come into remote contact with was Sarek, the man from far beyond, as he liked to put it. Canathael was Apprehensive of Sarek at first because of his outlandish apperance, but then rationalized that he himself must look quite strange himself. Thus he has tried to befriend the man, but hasn't received any notion of intrest on the other side. Canathael thought it best though, perhaps none of them were meant to gain strong alliances, just here to do their job.

He was intentionaly on his way to the study, the one room he had known well enough to use when he arrived. It seemed a ritual these days, instead of training excessively, he would sit quietly in the study, meditating on his power, creating charms, or studying from the great volume of books that were provided. It was his place of solitude, and he enjoyed the time he spent there.

Instead of going right to the Study today, Canathael wandered torwards the Controll room, where he heard griping and groaning. he startled when the large black doors opened at his arrival (he was still trying to get used to it) And took a few steps inside.

"Greetings" He spoke softly with a small smile, "Is there anything I can do to help Sir David?"

[FONT=Century Gothic][COLOR=Blue]Maya waited patiently for the elevator to come down to the 3rd floor so she could get onto it. She had just made herself some lunch, being a little tired from not really doing anything earlier in the day. She had been used to cooking for herself. It was up to her to survive, she couldn't count on anyone else. The elevator finally reached her, and she stepped onto it, and pressed the button marked two. "It's time for a nap," she thought to herself as she deceneded.

Maya had been unsually busy since she first arrived. Being who she was, sort of nosy, and interested in her new surroundings, she took it upon herself to view every area of the ship. Being accustomed to your surroundings was always a good thing, she learned when she was young. That way you always knew where the quick exit was. Although, Maya didn't feel she'd be leaving this place anytime in the near future. "Future," she laughed. "I am in the future. Who would have ever thought. I wonder what Dad would say if he knew," she pondered. "As if he even cares," she added.

The elevator stopped and the doors opened. She noticed standing right in front of her, looking warily at the doors. "It's not going to bite you, you know." she said as she walked past the man, and headed in the direction of her own room. She turned around as she put in her code for the door to her quarters. The man was still looking wearily at the doors, but he had now succcied in getting on the elevator. Maya shook her head as the door slided open and she threw herself on her bed.

She put her arm behind her pillow and placed it behind her head. "The people here sure are wierd. The only one who looks slightly normal is that "Dave" guy. He sure knows a lot about this ship. Maybe he could teach me some of the technology or something. It might be interesting. Better then just sitting in bed all day. I'm not used to not having anything to do. It was always on the run, or doing something back home." Maya got up from bed and headed back to the lift to go talk to Dave.[/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Qang Li entered the spacecraft and her new life with hope, not realizing how primitive she was in comparison. She did not quite understand why she was here, but in her heart she felt that she belonged. In the new world of space and time travel she felt trapped and alone. Li was taught from birth that the Middle Kingdom was at the center of the Earth, but now it has gone forever. She was disappointed to learn that they could not change the course of time, and so nothing she did could return China to its rightful spot as the Confucian center of the world, ruling by example. Eventually Li realized that she could never go back home, and that her destiny was here on this ship and out on the missions through the sands of time. This was her new home, weather she was content with it or not.

Li was given an electronic device that acted as a universal translator and communicator. She accepted this, without truly understanding it?s capabilities. Lost in a world of technology this primitive woman found herself in isolation. She knew nothing of the modern conveniences of her new life and the powers that brought her here. At first she set out to understand these modern marvels, only to find herself hopelessly inferior. As time progressed, Li found herself loosing interest in learning almost 3,000 years of history, and instead strived to understand her companions. She watched and studied their mannerisms silently, learning all she could.

On her third day on the spacecraft Li left her compartment and left to study at the library. She found herself taking the longest possible route in order to meet people on her way. In the corridor she passed a strange man clothed from the waist down only, exposing his chest. If Li was still in China she would have blushed and raised her fan to her eyes so as not to stair, but instead she made direct eye contact. Starring into those strange crescents swimming within the deep blue of his eyes. Li was a little frightened but did not show it. She slowly bowed her head with a small hand gesture as a greeting. Sutaru called out ?Hey sexy! What are doing so far from your room??

Ignoring the first comment she merely replied, ?My name is Qang Li, and I?m on my way to the enormous library.?

?I?m Sutaru, but why would you want to do a thing like that??

?I lost my freedom to learn all that I could from the written word before, and now that I can easily learn anything I want, I will surely take advantage of this divine opportunity.? And with that Li walked passed Sutaru, mentally cataloging all that she had learned from their encounter. [/COLOR]

Pieter sighed as he walked down one of the many corridors in the giant...what was the word the American had used? Space station? Yes...that was it. He still had a hard time wrapping his mind around the concept. It was like something out of the American movies, or comic books. It seemed so impossible, that you could launch something out of the Earth? atmosphere. But there had been rumors of secret projects and Allied secret weapons. Maybe this was one, and it was all a lie, to trick Pieter. But, why choose him, and not someone like Field Marshal Rommel, or Colonel Luck. They were officers, and knew tactics; the Allies would never pass up the opportunity to capture on of them. But they had gotten a luckless [i]Feldwebel[/i]. A young one at that. And THAT led to the question of why they had let him keep his weapons. Why would the Allies put up this sham? Ah, well. The people were interesting enough. He still didn?t know why the women were there, though. It didn?t make sense.

He adjusted the strap on his rifle and opened up the door to the gunnery range. That was another thing that amazed him. The automatic doors were a curiosity, and intrigued Pieter, who hoped to be an Engineer after the war. Of course, the war would have ended badly anyway, probably with Pieter being killed by the Russians, or, if he was lucky, captured by the Americans or the British.

He adjusted the target range and sent a target down the range, to about 150 yards, and started shooting standing up. After he had emptied the rifle, he reloaded and switched to a kneeling position, than prone. When he had satisfied himself that he was still a good a shot as ever, he shouldered his rifle again, and walked out into the corridor. Of course, wtih his great sense of timing, he managed to collide with the young American girl as she was walking past.

"Ah! Excuse me. I didn't mean to bump into you like that," he hastily apologised. [i]Great, make a klutz of yourself in front of the American. dumkopff![/i] He mentally berated himself.

[FONT=Century Gothic][COLOR=Blue]"Watch where your going, jerk!" Maya said as she regained from the encounter with the man she had seen earlier. Maya had her hand near her can of mase, and also her knife.

"I'm sorry," he said with a strong, wierd sounding accent, and looked at Maya confussed. "Are you okay?"

Maya looked up and saw clearly who it was. "Oh. I'm fine." she said as she lowered the sense of tension that was growing inside her. There was an odd moment of silence. "Well, I'm going now." Maya said as she started to move past him.

"Wait! I'm afriad I didn't get your name yet." He said as he watched the young american girl with growing curiousity.

"It's Maya. Bye." Maya said as she hurridly left the cooridor.

[I]"What happened back there?" [/I] Maya thought to herself as she made it to another lift to take her to Dave. [I]"I didn't hear him coming at all. Usually with my street sense and all, I can hear things coming. He must be a trained fighter. It looks like he came from the war time. I thought I saw the Nazi symbol on his uniform. Oh well. It's better if I don't get to know him. Something bad will just happen anyways. It always does. Though, Miguel did say it's better to have friends that are as strong as you are. Esp. in times of fights." [/I] Maya shook her head. [I]"I don't want to get close to any of them. I just don't. It'll just end up the same, as the last time. Katie...."[/I]
"Good marrow!!" she heard a call as the door opened for her.

[COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=1]Sutaru walked slowly into the vessel and the first thing he saw was the training room door. He already knew he was going to like this place but he still felt like going home to see his family and friends. But he decided to enter the training room and there was many doors showing different types of training types. Sutaru walked into the swords training program,and he saw atleast 48 robots that were dressed as samurai's.

The room was dark but he could tell how much there were and when he took one more seat all of the lights turned on.Sutaru unsheathed his 3 swords and got in his swordsman stance. The robots eyes flickered on blood red and they charged towards him.

Sutaru jumped high into the air as the robots jumped into the air also.Sutaru started to slice the robots and the robots head and arm came off squirting out oil onto the ground. Sutaru got slashed on the back and alittle on his pants he fell to the ground with alittle blood dripping out of the cut on his back and his pants. Sutaru stood up and did a 360 spin slicing all of the robots horizantaly in half squirting all of the oil on the robots eyes blocking alittle bit of the robots eyes making them blind for a short period.

Using his speed he ran up on the wall and onto the ceiling standing their for about 1 minute.While on the ceiling he took out his bomberang and threw it slicing many of the robots that were on the surface.Sutaru lightly jumped down and stomped one of the robots into the ground.............................

Maya looked up to see Canathael warily smiling down at her looking slightly harassed. The large black doors to the Controll room were closed. Canathael had hailed the girl from the entrance of the study, excited, as this was the first time he had seen her on the ship. he thought in the back of his mind that they could perhaps become fast friends, but the look on Maya's face prooved otherwise.

"What do you want?" She slightly currled her lip crossing her arms. Canathael gave a strange smile, and hunched a bit as he spoke, but he was gratefull that he could at least understand her.

"Ah, Sir David..." He half turned to the black doors, "He has giving me the task of informing anyone I should chance meet to stay away from that chamber yonder. If one were not wary, he shall put a tool in a most unmentionable place."

Canathael looked to Maya for approval, hopping that what he had said was understood, he received no response, now hoping that his piose would save him.

"My lady" He began, standing a bit taller and donning a more comfortable stance, Then bowing, "I don't beleive we have been properly introduced, My name is Canathael Merrison Mage of The Kingdom Erios."[/color][/size]

[SIZE=1][B]After a few more post, we'll make the jump to the world of the Dino's. About 2 or 3 post after this one we'll go, but we all have to be in the control room.[/B]

IC:

The sound of robot's crushing and being broken would be heard from the other area of the training room while Sarek was sat down running his hands across his blade. He had been alone for years and now suddenly he was living on a ship with all these people from different worlds. Not that he cared where they came from, but it was so very different. Not to mention Sarek had never encountered a man like Dave: Annoying, impatient and bad mannered. But life was life. As Sarek was pondering to himself, his communicator bleeped loudly. He took it out and flipped it open.

"What now?" He snapped. There was no answer from it, just a buzzing noise. A crackling, irraitating noise which annoyed Sarek. He flipped it down and slammed it beside him, only to hear it beep again. "What?" He said more feircly. No answer, only crackling. Sarek jumped to his feet and headed outside to see Dave and sort it out.

Sarek strolled into the control room, pushing rudely past Cael and Maya and advancing towards Dave, who was sat at the main control station.

"What've you broken now?" Dave asked as if highly annoyed.

"This thing here is broken! It's not working!" Sarek growled angerily. "The noise is disurbing me, fix it!" Sarek snarled. Dave snatched the comunicator off him and flicked it open, hearing the same buzzing noise. He clicked some of the buttons and raised his eyebrow.

"I have no idea what you've done this time..." Dave muttered. He took out his own and flicked it open, hearing the same noise from it. "Odd..." He muttered. Sarek cocked his head a little and stared. "You two, give me your communicators." Dave ordered. Cael took awhile to find his at his belt, took it and stared, then handed it to Dave as Maya did. Dave flicked them both open and heard the same noise. He looked puzzled, then turned around to the control panel. "There's some interferance in the time patterns..."

"Come again?" Maya asked.

"These device link us all together through time allowing us to communicate through time, but there's something blocking our transmissions. Canathael, you and Maya go find the others, bring them here." Dave explained.

"What for?" Sarek asked.

"I think Protosis might be making a jump..."[/SIZE]

[Inari]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Li slowed her pace a little, seeing if Sutaru would stop her. He did not, so she continued on her way. Li thought back on their short meeting and tried to decipher their conversation. Her translator/communicator allowed her to speak with the other, none of which could speak Chinese, but some deeper meanings were lost in translation. She was forced to rely on the strange body language of her companions to guess their emotions.

Li shuffled slowly down the corridor longing for the warm earth between her toes, the bright sun to light her path, the scent of a rice patty during the harvest or the sting of bug biting her flesh. Even in the palaces and temples there were ways to get out, to get back to the sun. As far as she could tell there was no way out of this metal prison except through the time portal. Li was ready to leave this place, and breath natural air, not chemically altered oxygen produced by machines.

Li had been walking for about five minutes when she heard a beeping noise. She whirled around to spot the source of this noise, but could see nothing. Again she heard the foreign noise and was frightened. She had never heard a noise like this before in China. After some time she found that the noise came from her communicator. Li took it out and held it in her hand. She knew nothing of this advanced technology, and so she tried to contact Dave. (The only thing she did know how to do.) A crackling noise resonated from the device, filling her ears with a worse noise than before. Li decided to go find Dave or anyone else who could help her.

Just as Li started to hurry towards the control room when she ran into two people. One was a girl, Li thought, dressed in a white blouse and a plaid skirt with long brown wavy hair. The other was a male with brown hair, pale skin, and dressed in a green robe with gold trim. They both seemed happy to see her. The boy extended a hand to her and said "Dave wants you to come to the control room."

Li panicked. She could not understand his words. She smiled back and said in Chinese "I can't understand you."

The boy looked just as confused as Li was, but the girl understood. She pointed towards her communicator and made a motion to indicate that it was broken. Then she waved at Li, took her hand, and led her back to the control room.[/COLOR]

[FONT=Century Gothic][COLOR=Blue]"Found one!" Maya said entergetically as she led Li to a seat in the control room and then let go of her hand. Li spoke something, which Maya only assumed to be a thank you, as she turned towards Dave. "I see you still don't have them fixed yet." she complained.

"I'm working as fast as I can. Maybe if people wouldn't get breaking stuff..." he said angryly.

"Don't look at me," the guy in the corner said. Maya had still yet to actually learn his name. She then turned back to Li.

"Well, I'm sure you got a name as well. Let's see how I can make you understand..." Maya pondered. She then pointed to herself with her hand. "Maya." she said clearly. She then pointed Canathael, "Canathael" Maya said, as he gave a small bow. Li looked slightly puzzled for a small second, but then she realized, and nodded her head vigorously.

Li pointed to herself. "Qang Li," she said with a smile.

"So Qang it is," Maya said as she started to walk towards Dave.

"No no!" She said as Maya turned around to look at her again. "Li."

"Oh! I see. You want to be called Li, right?" Li shook her head. "All right, Li it is." Li smiled as Maya turned to Dave. "Who else do we have to find?"

"Two more. Now get on with it!"

"All right, all right. You don't have to be so pissy. Come on Canathael, let's go." She said as the two walked out of the control room. [/COLOR][/FONT]

Pieter frowned as a strange, incessant beeping noise began emanting from his pocket. Digging into the pocket he found that it was the communicator that they had all been given. Perhaps it worked like a field telephone? He flipped it open, placing it next to his ear and nouth, like a radio or telephone.

"[i]Hallo, Dieses ist Pieter.[/i] he said, autmatically talking in German. He recoiled form the communicator as a burst of white noise came from it. "[i]Verfluchte Sache ist kaput...[/i]" he muttered, stowing the communicator in his pocket once again. He looked up as two people came walking down the corridor. The unfriendly [i]Amerikaner[/i] girl and the [i]Englisher[/i].

"[i]Hallo.[/i] What's going on?" he asked, a questioning look on his face. The man spoke, gesturing back down the corridor.

"Sir David wshes your presence in the control room."

"[i]Jawhol.[/i] i will come with you."

Pieter set off after the pair, adjusting the strap on his rifle once again, hoping that they would get somewhere now.

[SIZE=1]"The communicators should automatically be fixed after Protosis has made the jump." Dave muttered while looking over the controls.

"So he is making a jump?" Sarek asked. Dave nodded slightly without taking his eyes off the controls. He was either trying to figure out where Protosis was jumping too or when he would jump.

"What the?" Dave suddenly said. Sarek leaned over him and tilted his head to the side. There was a spiral shaped image on the controls, with other images of humans, space crafts and other things. It looked like some sort of timeline, and beside it were dates changing rapidly. "This timeline's right off the chart, it's too far in the past to be on our readings."

"What timeline is it?" Sarek asked.

"Jurassic." Dave said. "Luckily I know enough about it. It's full of dinosaurs. You won't need to change your clothes or anything in this age, but you'll need to protect yourself against the dinosaurs, somehow... Pieter's gun will do you some good and swords, but not very good if you come across a big dinosaur." Dave explained. Sarek didn't reply, but turned his head when he saw Maya and Canathael with Pieter. Sarek turned back and looked at the Chinese lady, who he presumed was Li. Sarek hadn't given his name to everyone so not many of them knew him. Suddenly, Sutaru came in with a puzzled look.

"Done yet?" Sarek asked Dave not taking notice of Sutaru.

"Yeah. Here, give them back to everyone." Dave said handing them to Sarek. Sarek nodded.

"You two!" Sarek shouted bitterly over to Canathael and Maya.

"I have a name, you know, it's Maya, and he's Canathael so don't be so rude!" Snapped Maya. Sarek didn't reply, and threw them the communicators. He handed one to Li and threw two to Pieter, who passed one to Sutaru.

"Right... I've set everything up, you should all run down to the portal. I'll give you the codes for the doors as you go." Dave said. Sarek nodded slightly and walked towards the door. The others looked at each other for awhile then followed him towards the lift and they all stepped in. Sarek tapped in the number and leaned back on the wall waiting.

"Where are we going?" Canathael asked.

"Jurassic age. Full of creatures called 'dinosaurs'. According to Dave they're extremely dangerous. I'd be careful." Sarek explained.

"Dinosaurs?" Repeated Li. Sarek nodded.

"Correct. Dave should be able to guide us in this timeline, since he said he knows much about it." Sarek replied. There was a brief silence, and even though not many knew Sarek's name he wasn't going to give it to anyone, until one of them asked.

"Excuse, you have a name?" Li asked. Sarek nodded.

"Sarek Luther." He replied blankly. The doors of the lift suddeny swung open and Sarek walked out pushing past them first. He didn't glance back to see if they were following, he just continued to walk until he came to the dimly lit part of the section and faced a large metal door. Sarek took out his communicator. "Code." Sarek ordered.

[I]"First one's a number code, ask someone else to type it in because you won't be able to see it."[/I] Dave replied through the communicator. Sarek signaled for Pieter to come over. Pieter came and started at the panel and awaited Dave. [I]"First code: 65789210."[/I] Dave said through the communicator in a sing-song way. Pieter typed it in slowly and nodded. Sarek backed him off and moved backwards as the two, large metal doors opened making ice cold gas seep out. Sarek and the others walked through coming to another door and another panel. [I]"Next code is two words."[/I] Dave said. Pieter knelt down near the panel with letters on it and a screen, awaiting Dave. [I]"And the word is: Scarface Smells."[/I] Dave said. Pieter was about to type it in, then stopped and looked up at Sarek.

"Could you... repeat that?" Sarek asked in confusion.

[I]"I know it's a little crazy, but I thought it would be fun. Yeah, it's Scarface Smells."[/I] Dave confirmed. Pieter shook his head and typed in the code, then stepped back as the next doors opened. Canathael jumped back more than the others and seemed more startled. As the doors opened, it came to a room with metal all around it, a few controls panels and right in the middle was a huge, round circle with wires coming from it and a ramp leading up to it. [I]"I'm activating the portal now, standby."[/I] Dave said. Sarek walked up the three stairs and onto the metal ramp staring at the portal. It was a dark silver colour with red and black wires around the back, but Sarek thought that the original Portal wouldn't have been so scientific. [I]"Okay, the Portal should start to open..."[/I] Dave said. Sarek nodded to himself slightly and waited. Suddenly, a jolt of electric shot from one side of the portal to the other, then another, and another, and another, until creating a large ball of energy in the middle of the circle, which slowly began to get bigger until filling the whole portal. [I]"Good luck, contact me when you get there, you all have to go in one after the other..."[/I]

"I will." Sarek said flicking the communicator down. He turned back over his shoulder and glanced at the others, then walked towards the portal. He touched it with his fingers, felling nothing at all but a slight bit of energy, then stepped through.

Before Sarek knew it, he had stepped onto grass through a large blue energy like in the Portal, and was staring straight at a small lizard like creature below his feet, which seemed to stare back.

"Well... this isn't too bad..." He muttered to himself, but he spoke to soon when he heard the strongest, loudest roar he had ever heard.[/SIZE]

Upon turning around Sarek was now looking up at the king of all predators in the Prehistoric era, the Tyranasorus Rex. It snarled at the man, seemingly a bit hesitant because it had not come across prey such as this before, Sarek however didn't seem afraid, in fact it looked as if he was ready to fight the lizard.

"Alright..." He muttered sliding into a stance, "Let's do this."

But the next thing Sarek knew he was being swept away away from his fight, someone had caught him firmly by the hand and was dragging him at a great speed torwards a low brushed area. By the time he had been let go and he got his senses about him he looked into the Greatly releived face of Canathael.

"Thank goodness you're safe Sir Sarek, I thought that beast would-"

"What are you doing...?" Sarek asked calmly, staring at his hapless rescuer.

"I-I-I was saving you from th-the beast, he would have s-surely ripped you to peices." He stuttered, begining to sense that he had done something wrong.

"You fool..." Sarek growled standing up, "I could have taken it, I'm not weak, I don't run away from my enemies."

His words stung Canathael, Who remained silent.

"Go back to the others." Sarek spat, heading off into a random dirrection.

"I don't know where they are...." Canathael spoke also standing and following along, "So if it's proper, may I come along with you sir Sarek?"

Sarek didn't answer as he began to slightly jog off into the distance, off in search of that monster again, perhaps this time he could fight it without any interuptions.[/color][/size]

[FONT=Century Gothic][COLOR=Blue]Maya was a little appriehensive when she first took a look at the portal, but seeing Sarek, Canathael, and even Li and Pieter go through it before her, she hastily shrugged aside her fears and stepped through.

Maya felt a wierd tingling feeling as she took the step, and then realized her foot had landed on solid ground, grass to be exact. Only this wasn't the short grass she was used to. This grass was tall, and went up to her thigh. Maya looked around her, and she had never seen such lucious plant life in all her years. The trees around her where higher then the highest sicamore she had ever seen. The plants themselves, not only bursting with vivid colors, where huge! Maya went over to one plant inparticular, and touched a leaf. The leaf was roughly the size of her entire arm.

"This is amazing!" Maya thought to herself as she made her way through the brush. "I bet those palentologists never dreamed of this! I have to admit, they did get it pretty close though. Esp. in that museum we went to last year. I have to say it could definately compare to this, but this is so much more beautiful!" Maya was so intrigued with the plant life, she wasn't really watching where she was going, and ran smack into something. It was as round as a tree stump of a tree that had lived over 600 years. Maya followed the stump thing up, slightly puzzled why it was a yellowish/orange color. Maya looked up, and saw a huge structure, a body. Maya took a couple of steps back and looked all the way up. There, she saw the face of a Brachiosaurus. "Woah," Maya said as she took a couple more steps back. The dinosaur didn't even seem to notice her there. "Those guys sure where right. These guys are WAY taller then our modern day giraffes." Maya wasn't afraid, she knew that the Brachiosaurus was a herboviore, and only ate plants. But she wondered how many of the others knew the difference between the dinosaurs. Maya figured she would be the only one to tell. All of a sudden, Maya heard a scream in the distance, "Li!" Maya said as she ran toward where the sound came from, hopping Li had not by chance met a carnivoire.

Pieter shivered as he stepped through the portal, thinking about what David had said about the Jurassic. He had heard about Dinosaurs, but they were slow, compacent cratures, weren't they? That's what all the leading scientists had been saying before the war started. He stopped as his foot cunched down on unfamiliar plants. He looked down, than dropped into a crouch. Where had the others gone? [i]Damn! we must have gotten seperated somehow...[/i] he thought, plucking several of the large fronds around him and sticking them into the band on his helmet, the better to break up his outline in the forested area. He wiped his forehead, watching as sweatbegan to discolor his shirt. It was damn hot here. He shrugged off his jacket, placing it in his pack and rolling up his shirt sleeves.

Cautiously, he set off into the forest, looking for a sign of the others. Suddenly, a scream plit the air "[i]Gott en Himmel![/i]" He spun towards the scream and sprinted off in it's direction, unslinging his rifle as he ran.

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Li clutched her at her swords attached her waist. She could sense danger was coming even if she could not fully understand what Dave or the others were talking about. She watched as Dave activated the time portal. Bright bolts of light and electricity shot from one end to the other as the portal opened. Li watched the light focus on the center and grow. She could feel the power standing her hairs on end. She watched Sarek and the others step through, waiting for her turn.

Once on the other side of the time portal Li stood amongst the beauty of the Jurassic era. Gigantic, tropical vegetation adorned the prehistoric scene. She took one deep breath of the clean air, and exhaled slowly. Li oriented herself among the leaves and walked into the thick grass. After a few moments Li realized that she could not see anyone from the space station. She was utterly alone. That?s when they attacked her.

Three young raptors rustled behind a large bush, and then jumped out to attack her. The largest one flung itself on Li, and scratched her left arm. Li quickly recoiled from the monster and stood back up. She unsheathed her swords and let out a piercing war cry. Her voice echoed off the nearby cliffs as she charged the beasts. Li allowed no mercy as she slashed the first raptor, shredding his leathery flesh and exposing his crimson blood.

Just as Li killed the first raptor she heard noise coming from the forest. The raptors stopped to listen to the noise, stretching their long necks to see above the grass. Li saw her opening and attacked again, but with more force. She swung her mighty blade, and cut through flesh and bones, leaving the lifeless form of the beast staring up at her. Li turned to face the last dinosaur when Maya and Pieter came crashing through the underbrush. Both stared in awe as Li slaughtered the last raptor right before their eyes.

?Oh my God!? said Maya, with a hand over her mouth.

Li look up to see the shocked faces of her companions. She quickly stood up, trying to look as presentable as she could. Li carefully wiped her blades and put them back on her belt. She then wiped her face and swept a stray hair back into her loose bun. ?We should leave this place before more creatures come to feast on these monsters,? Li suggested.

Pieter stared for a second, and then declared, ?What ever you say my lady.?

The three quickly hurried off into the thick vegetation, leaving behind a scene of bloody carnage.[/COLOR]

Pieter was still a bit awed by the Oriental women's display of skill with the swords that he had witnessed. He had mastered the rifle, but it was a much simpler weapon. Where ahd she learned to do that? And what if he had to fight her? He shuddered at the thought as he bent down to check the ground for signs of their companions. Nothing. He stood, stretchign his arms, before continuing. Every so often he would bend down and check again, but so far, they were out of luck. He turned his head to speak to the his companions

"So, where do you think the others have gotten to?" The only reply he got was an open mouthed stare past him. He turned to look forward again and found himself staring at several of the most massive creatures he ever seen. Out on the plains that bordered the forest, giant dinosaurs slowly worked their way past the 3 humans.

Pieter gawked for a moment, before remembering to pull out his small, personal camera. "What an awesome sight! I must take a picture.." he muttered, setting his eye to the viewer and clicking down on the button. he continued taking pictures for the better part of 15 minutes, humming [i]Deutschland Uber Alles[/i] to himself. "These creatures are amazing!"

[SIZE=1]Sarek and Canathael walked through the bushes and trees loooking for the others. They had either taken a wrong turn somewhere or were heading in the wrong direction, but they hadn't found them yet. They had passed many dinosaurs, most which didn't look harmful. A tiny one had came up towards Sarek, and when Sarek put his hand near it the little lizard bit his finger, so Sarek had stomped on it. Suddenly, Sarek heard his communicator beep. He flicked it open and heard Maya.

[I]"Sarek, where are you?"[/I] She asked. Sarek sighed heavily.

"Not sure. Where abouts are you?" Sarek asked casting a 'it's your fault' look at Canathael.

[I]"Near lots of Dinosaurs. We're on the plains being passed by the large ones, we're fine, well mostly. Have you seen Canathael or Sutaru?"[/I] Maya replied. Sarek glanced around for awhile then spoke.

"I'm here with Canathael, but I haven't seen Sutaru. Who are you with?" Sarek asked. He was being more careful now after the tiny dinosaur. Sarek wouldn't admit it, but the tiny bite really, really hurt.

"I'm with Li and Pieter. We'll stay in the same place so you can find us, and we'll try to contact Sutaru, okay?" Maya said. Sarek nodded and replied with a simple 'fine' and flicked the communicator down. He sighed heavily again and was about to move on, but the same loud roar from before stopped him. Canathael and Sarek looked around but saw nothing.

"Sir Sarek, over there!" Canathael shouted pointing to the trees. Two large dinosaurs had pushed each other through the trees, the same kind from before (T-rex) and one that as like it, but with a skinner neck and longer legs. The two beast were ripping at each other and roaring, with Canathael and Sarek stood nearby. Sarek took out his spear and held it tight in his hand while Canathael took out a dagger.

"What makes you think THAT will do any good again THEM?" Sarek against, no, shouted over the dinosaurs roar. Canathael looked at his dagger and shrugged. As soon as one of the dinosaur's eyes came visable, Sarek lunged his spear at one of the dinosaurs. It hit the longer legged dinosaur in the left eye, which was all the other dinosaur needed. It bit into the one with the spear in its eye, causing the injured one to begin to fall. Sarek was about to take out his communicator, but had lost it and was too busy looking for it too notice the dinosaur falling straight for him.

"Watch out!" Canathael suddenly shouted. He ran forward and rammed Sarek to the ground, out of the dinosaurs way. Sarek shook his head and stared at Canathael.

"There's hope for you afterall." Sarek complimented for the first time. He and Canathael stood up, only to be staring right into the small eyes of the winning dinosaur...[/SIZE]

Canathael nodded at Sarek slowly, something had suddenly changed in him, he was no longer donning his charismatic smile or his polite demeanor. He stared down the beast placing his staff between them.

Before Sarek could comment on the ineffectiveness of a staff, Canathael dashed forward at the creature with a mighty cry. He had slipped underneith its jaw bringing the butt-end of the staff up with a sharp jab where the monster's neck and jawbone came together. Although the attack was not deadly to the beast, it was quite painfull, giving it means to back away several gigantic steps. Canathael didn't back down though, he repeated his attack again and again, knowing that he was much faster and brighter than this large brute. When the Predator seemed to have enough of his jabbing it snapped ferociously at the young mage, nearly catching his head, this was the oppertunity he had been waiting for. With a flick of his wrist, the dagger he had been clutching in his hand flew true and found its home burried in the Great beast's left eye.

The creature shreiked and howled, taking several more steps back and retreated back through the deep foliage, groaning with pain the entire way.

Sarek was speechless, or more, he had nothing to say in this unexpected show of skill. Canathael straightened again, yet he still held a frown on his face.
"I really liked that Dagger..." He muttered, almost forming a pout on his lips.

"We'll get you another one, let's try and find the others." Sarek sighed as he turned and began to walk again.[/color][/size]

[FONT=Century Gothic][COLOR=Blue]Maya looked back at the others as she closed her communicator, and replaced it on the waist of her skirt. "Looks like we'll be staying put for a bit." Maya said as she viewed the surroundings. "I just hope they can find us."

"What about Sutaru?" Li asked as she watched a dinosaur roam the plains in front of them, as Pieter contiuned to take pictures.

"I know what you mean. It's just we don't know if he's even crossed the portal yet. And even if he has, he probably has a bad sense of direction." Maya said as she folded her arms.

"That doesn't mean we still can't try to contact him." Li said.

"Well then, you try it." Maya said as she sat down on the grass. "I've already did my part by calling Sarek. You and Pieter can go look for him if you want. I'm going to stay right here, until the other two come."

Li gave Maya a disgruntled look as she reached for her communicator and started to call Sutaru's name.

"Fire." Pieter said as he looked at the tall brush.

"What?" Maya asked confussed as she looked up at him.

"What we need is a fire!"

"To get thier attention!" Maya said as she stood up, finally understanding what he meant. "I'll go get some brush leaves. You stay here and help Li! I'll just be a little ways into the forest ... that way." Maya said as she pointed the the southwest of where she was standing.

Pieter nodded his head as Maya raced into the forest.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Sutaru was lost and didn't know where anyone was,and he was hoping he would see somebody soon.He was slowly taking a stroll though the forest looking at how calm it was and the wind gentally blowing on him except that he felt that he was feeling stalked.He reached a giant tree and one he passed it there was a rumble of some dinosaurs that were coming.Sutaru looked around then he heard the sound coming closer and he clenched his hands on one of his swords while the other one was on his bomberang.Then it was quiet for a minute and Sutaru was confused then five dinosaurs alittle bigger than him jumped from behind a tree and was coming towards him.

Sutaru then quickly unsheathed his swords putting deep gashed on their stomach.The dragons then stalled and looked at Sutaru deeply with a devilish look on their face.The dinosaurs had blood red thick skin on then and a pair of small wings on their back.It also had blood red eyes,very big ears,long teeth stained with blood,and a bage stomach. Then the dinosaurs quickly sprinted towards him and Sutaru held his bomberang and then jumped high into the air and landed on a very thick branch.He held his bomberang and then it doubled its size and the dinosaurs then jumped towards him.He got a deep cut on his cheek by to of them putting a x shaped scar on him.He fell on the tree branch and while in the air he threw his bomberang at them cutting through the branch and then it cut three of the dinosaurs in half while hurting the other two as they fell off the branch and hit the ground with a big impact.

"Hmph,you damn idiots"Sutaru said with a evil look on his face

The two dinosaurs hissed and then lunged towards him and he quickly put his bomberang away and then took out two of his swords and started spinning in a circle slitting both of the dragons throats.The dragons then slowly feel to the ground with a thud and started to twitch for a while.

Sutaru then put his two swords back in his sheaths and walked away casually but instead of walking from the surface he started to jump from tree to tree because he didn't feel like killing anymore dinosaurs.He knew if he fought one that could spit acid in his face and kill him but to him thats what the legends and stories said.Then Sutaru lunged from tree branch to tree branch and trying to contact anyone.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Li reached into her robe to get her communicator when she bumped her injured arm. She recoiled in pain, yet decided to make the call first and then see to her battle wound. Opening the communicator, Li stared into the wonderful technology in her palm. She concentrated hard on the instructions Dave had given her for how to call people and finally dialed Sutaru?s number. ?Sutaru, are you there??

?Yes, wherever [I]here[/I] is,? he replied.

?Good. Maya, Pieter and I are building a fire, so follow the smoke to find us,? Li instructed.

?Sure thing.?

With that Li closed her communicator, ending the transmission. Then she pulled back her long sweeping sleeves to examine her scratch from the raptor. A deep gash graced her upper arm, filled with black soil and matted blood. Li did not panic, but merely opened her water pouch and poured fresh water on her arm, cleaning the wound. After picking the small rocks and bits of plant matter out of the wound, she squeezed the sides of her arm to force fresh blood to rinse the wound. By this time Pieter saw what had happened to Li and remarked, ?That looks pretty bad.?

?Looks can be deceiving. Don?t worry I will have it healed in no time,? Li replied. She then spread some of her Chinese herbs over the cut, and began to wrap it with cloth she ripped from the underside of her robe. ?See, it?s all better now,? she announced. Pieter looked skeptically at her arm. He had seen many wounds in the war, and remembered how easily things could get infected, but trusted her ancient wisdom.

With her wound taken care of Li went off into the underbrush to search for anything to burn. Maya called out to her saying, ?Put it over here in this clearing.? Li obeyed and dropped her load of wood onto the growing pile. [/COLOR]

[SIZE=1][B]Hey, sorry I couldn't post before, but my post might run a little randomly and it might take me awhile to post, my Internet is messed up.[/B]

A sharp snapping of small twigs made Sarek spin around for the fifth time in 10 minutes, only to notice Canathael was stepping on them, again. Sarek sighed and shook his head, but didn't bother to comment. He just continued to walk with his bloody spear in his right hand, which he picked up before they left the two dead dinosaurs. Canathael hadn't retrieved his dagger, well it was too far in the other creatures body, but Sarek believed a man's weapon was his own, and his alone which only he should take care of.

Crazy saying, but Sarek believed it.

"Sir, look!" Canathael shouted from behind. Sarek spun round and raised his spear, then lowered. He was expecting more of those creatures to be attacking, but instead he could see too long necked creatures above the trees, no, more than two, atleast five. Canathael glanced at Sarek and ran over, leaving Sarek no choice but to follow him.

"Canathael, stop! They might be dangerous!" Sarek shouted. They came out from the trees onto a long line of yellow grassy fields and a few trees, and a lot of long necked creatures. They didn't seem to be attacking, so they looked friendly. But Sarek couldn't help notice they looked like Borgraths, giant reptiles from his future. Only in his future Borgraths attacked everything, even each other. Sarek almost lost his life off them creatures, but these ones weren't the same, Sarek knew that, but he still hated them. He was prepared to throw his spear into the nearest creature and slice its head off with one swoop of his sword, but Sarek didn't, something else [I]did[/I].

"Why did you just do that?!" Canathael shouted over to Sarek. One of the longed neck creatures had been hit in the neck by another short spear, not Sarek's.

"I didn't..." Sarek muttered. He looked around him, and saw what the normal human vision wouldn't see, a glowing red figure in the distance, something with extreme heat. But the moment Sarek saw the figure, it was gone. Though something else had caught Sarek's eye. Smoke, heat, [I]fire[/I]! "Canathael! Over there!" Sarek shouted leaving the creatures and not caring what happened to the injured one. Canathael spun around and spotted to smoke and ran towards it too.[/SIZE]

[FONT=Century Gothic][COLOR=Blue]Maya watched as the fire Pieter, Li, and her had made caused smoke to rise high into the air. "This was a good idea Pieter! I'm impressed!" Maya said with a smile. Pieter smiled back, but was still looking at the secenary with his camera in hand. Maya walked over to Li, who was sitting down next to the fire, and took a seat next to her. "How's your arm doing?"

"It's fine," Li said with a smile. "I'll be able to take the bandages off soon."

"I'm glad," Maya said as she hugged her knees and watched the fire dance in front of her.

"Is something wrong?" Li asked as she watched Maya, trying to understand her.

"Nope, I'm fine," Maya said with a fake smile. She quickly stood up and walked a little ways away. "I hope the boys come soon. I'm tired of waiting." Maya thought to herself as she watched a stegesarous roam the field. "I wish I could see some more dinosaurs too. I always heard the carnivores where the cooler ones." Maya said as she heard Pieter come up next to her.

"There's something coming," he said as he looked with sharp eyes into the field.

"Someone, or something?" Maya asked, reaching for her dagger that was hidden in her boot.

Pieter shook his head, as he kept a firm grip on his gun. [/COLOR][/FONT]
