Maya rushed forward into the distance at the three membered party a great smile of excitement smattered across her face. She skidded to a halt before Peiter, carefully eying over Canathael, worry overcomming her smile. Her eyes played over the blood seeping through the breast of his robes, his pale exterior and the new bruise forming on his forhead. She glanced accusingly at Peiter,

"What happened to him?" She placed a hand on her hip, cradling the egg with the other, Peiter glanced down at her slightly panicked, trying to steady the sorcerer beside him.

"Eh?" He shouted, trying to mimick her irritance, "He got into a battle, surely you don't think we did this?"

As the two bickered Canathael began to come aware of his surroundings again, somewhat. He groggily lifted his head towards the voices and smiled, eyes half lidded between consciousness and the darkness which still crept over his mind. He heard a female voice, feisty and pure; so familiar... he leaned close to it, reaching out one arm.

"Elsia..." He sighed reaching out to Maya, who had since stopped fighting with Peiter to stare bemusedly at Canathael.

"Canathael...?" She asked softly, "Are you alright?"

There was no doubt in Canathael's hazy mind, this was his Elsia, she had finaly come back to him, he reached furthur, now standing on his own,

"Elllllllllsiiiiiiaaaaaa..." He groaned, reaching Maya and going limp again on her smaller frame, she squeeked surprised at the sudden contact, then trembled under Canathael's dead weight. Peiter grasped the sorcerer's arm pulling him back and off of the young girl, who was left looking extremely confused.

"Who's Elsia?" She asked Peiter who gave her a sad look.

"Someone from his past, he's getting delusional ja?" Peiter explained hoisting the now unconscious Canathael back upwards, "He wont do much better while we're here..."

By this time Sarek and Li had joined the group, then someones comunicator crackled to life,

"Are you all done playing down there?" Dave's voice echoed out of the comunicators that were left.

The communicators were vibrating from the communicators that were left, and Sutaru quickly grabbed his and got ready to respond.

"Dave, you gotta get us out of he-" Sutaru was interrupted which pissed him off alittle

"I found a way to teleport you back to the vessel" Dave said calmly

This information eased Sutaru's anger as he waited for another response from Dave so he can get out of the place. This wind was blowing violently and he took a quick glance at Canathael alittle freaked out because he was acting real stupid to him.

"Ok,two of the peoples life force is going alittle wild over there and I am guessing it is one of you. So with this information I can trace this life force back to you and make a portal spawn over there which you can walk through and you will appear at the entrance of the portal and your home free." Dave said with confidence that this would work

Sutaru looked at Peiter giving him a shrug about the life force this as it looked like the wind started to blow even more violent like a tornado or just high speed winds were building up.

"OK,HURRY UP!" Sutaru screamed with impatience

"A TORANDO IS BREWING!" Maya said right after Sutaru said

Sutaru started pacing around as he heared a grumble on the communicator. The ground started to shake making some of the group fall as the portal appeared under Sutarus feet. The portal was 30 feet high and in the portal you could see some kind of abstract backround as Sarek and the others quickly stepped in with no questions asked. They appeared to the entrance of the vessel in a flash as they walked in the vessel and the portal exploded so no dinosaurs would get in the portal either. When the group arrived.......

OOC: Okay, looks like we can get this up an' runnin' again! My next post will be the new Chapter.

As Sarek slowly stepped through the portal onto the steel ramp, he looked around at the surroundings and noticed the quick drop of temperature. He glanced back at the others coming through and then began to step forward. Moments later, a calm Dave came running through the doors with a few communicators in his head. Sarek stepped down towards him and looked around again.

"Nice work guys, oh, and thanks for breaking most of the communicators!" He said, his calm face suddenly turning angry. He gave one to Sarek and began passing them round to everyone who didn't have one. "Most of you better get to the medical bay, on this floor, you should know that. Wow, Sarek, what did you do to yourself? And Li? In fact, you all look a mess! Jesus, I'm glad I wasn't there with you!" Dave said. Sarek didn't reply to him, and simply pushed past him and walked towards the two unlocked doors. He didn't glance back at the others, he just kept walking.

"Next time... I'm taking a few extra limbs..." He grumbled to himself.

"Hey, Sarek, that's not the-" Dave shouted from behind, but was cut off as Sarek entered the lift. He leaned back on the wall of the dimly lit lift and punched in the floor for his room.

Coming out of the lift, Sarek strolled down the dark corridor and too a small door, which had tiny bits of ice creeping out from the edges. Without thinking nothing of it, Sarek walked into his room, which was a cold, dank place filled with ice and snow from the walls to his floor. It was better for Sarek, he was used too it.

"I'll tend to my on wounds..." He growled to himself sitting down on an icy bed. HIs arm was covered in red, almost ice-like blood while his face was bruised with scratches from the fight with the wolf thing. He was angry. Sarek was angry at himself, for joining the stupid Crew... only now had he noticed while sitting in his ice-age room that he shouldn't have joined. He should have just been left to die in his miserable world. Knowing that the past was as ancient as his future but with no ice, he was angry that his own people couldn't survive, and had the means to keep Sarek alive with a mask and the technology in his back.

Growling angerily, Sarek stood up and stared into a mirror of ice. He took his mask off slowly, revealing scruffy white hair going over his clouded eyes and a black marking just under his forehead. Circles, archs and curves which was the sign he was a human, from the doomed future. He growled at himself, showing for the first time his teeth were solid metal, because his race had made him that way, the great humans.

"Only I know what I am..." He muttered to himself, sliding his mask back on. "And only I know I'm not ment to be... what do I have to lose?"

Maya took her first few steps out of the portal carefully, but once she saw that she truely was back on the ship, all the tension that was building inside of her sort of washed away. Maya sighed heavily as she made her way down the ramp, and stood next to Dave.

"Here you go!" Maya said with a smile, as she handed Dave the egg. "I hope that's what you where looking for."

Dave nodded, took the egg from Maya, and tried to give her a communicator. "No thanks," Maya said. "I've still got mine." Maya took the communicator from her waist, showed it to Dave, and replaced it.

"Thank God one of you has a little sense." Dave said. "You should go to the infirmary, and take care of your wounds." he contiuned as he took the egg in arm, and walked away.

"I'm fine!" Maya yelled after him. Maya was the only one left in the portal room. She looked around, thanking that she was safely back on the ship. "Wow, that was nothing like I expected." Maya said to herself as she started walking down the hallway. "Here, I thought this was going to be easy. Heh, things are never easy. Especially when you have crazy people around you. The worst things will always happen." Just then Maya remembered how bad Canathael looked, and rushed the the infirmary to check on him. She found him laying, asleep on one of the beds.

"I've already taken care of his wounds," Li said as Maya walked up. Maya nodded and took a chair and set next to the bed. "Do you need..."

"I'm fine," Maya interupted with a smile. "I'm going to stay here until he wakes up, just in case he needs something. Thank you though." Maya looked around at the other too guys who where both watching the girls, but then looked away as Maya turned to look at them. "I think they need your help though," Maya said, giving Li a wink. "There's something wierd about them. I think they're both a little crazy if you know what I mean."

"I heard that!" Maya heard Sutaru say, as she held back a laugh. Things looked like they where getting better...

Pieter grinned. They were all back, and safe. He looked after Maya, a smile on his lips. She really did remind him of his younger sister. I wonder how she's doing. They have to have gotten the news that I am missing by now. He sat down in a nearby chair, and pulled out a few of his photographs, looking over the pictures of his mother, father, and sister. he missed them all, and now he was farther away from them than ever before. He sighed and leaned back. What was he doing here? Why had he agreed to this?

he stood and walked out of the Infirmiray, heading for the Galley.

Canathael felt woozy as he started to ascend to the realm of consciousness. He could still feel a dull ache where his chest and back wounds were, but they were very minor discomforts. He could also tell that he was laying down, in a place where the air wasn' t as fresh as it was and also seemed mechanized. The light too, didn't seem as if it was from the sun but a different source, one that shone through his eyelids persistantly.

He winced, then slowly opened his eyes, blinking fiercely at the flourescent lights above. He groaned away from the harsh lighting, moving to sit up when he knew it would likely be imposible, yet surprising himself when he was actually able to hold himself upright. He glanced around the empty room, the only thing keeping him company was a row of infirmary beds, a few cabinets and the humming of the flourescent lights above.

Canathael sighed in releif that he was back on the ship, he didn't know how much longer he could have tolorated his wounds before going completely mad.

wounds? they're gon!

He brushed his hand over his bare chest, looking down. The only evidence that he was injured at all were a few faint scars where the dragon's teeth had found him. He shuddered at the thought of not being powerfull enough, and nearly dying when someone entered the room.

"Ah, you're awake!" Maya called cheerfully walking back into the room and resuming her post by his bed, feeling a bit sorry that she decided to stretch her legs, "How are you feeling?"

Canathael nodded dumbly, still amazed that he was completely healed, he looked at Maya and grinned a little bit,

"My wounds, they're gone." He let out a releived sigh, his ivy eyes were sparkling "What Magic is this?"

"It's this modern healing Li has been studying," Maya smiled back at him, "I suppose you'd have to ask her."

"Indeed." Canathael quirped, realizing that he could fully understand Maya now, and not the bizzare english she had been using before. He then realized that his comunicator was broken, feeling relatively sorry about it. Maya watched with fascination as his face went through several emotions while his inner thoughts raced around. For some reason she felt herself smiling more, completely taken by his innocent charm.

"Lady Maya," a look of worry and guilt washed over his face, "Was Sir David angry that the translator was lost?"

"No." She let out a short laugh, "Not any more angry than usual."

"Ah." A smile replaced the worry on the sorcerer's face, as he shifted into a cross-legged position on the bed "Then I am glad."

Chapter Two
After the defeat in the Jurrassic World, Protosis thinks its time to take the lead, and jumps into the Old West, into a small town were there is one Outlaw Protosis is interested in. Knowing he has the advantage of being a villian and being allied with William J. Shanker (the Outlaw), Protosis is convinced he can move the Sand's Crew out of the game and take Will with him to join his evil mission. With a group of shady criminals and Protosis convincing William all the way, can the 6 time travellers stop Protosis again?

Marrek stormed down the dark halls of archways of ancients with a red mark across his neck and cuts all over his body. His face was flushed red with anger and his fist clenched tightly beside his waist. Two large oak doors stood firmly in front of him and as he came to them, he knocked them open loudly with his hands and stormed into another dark room were Protosis sat on a stone chair stroking an injured animal, his wolf.

"What the hell are you playin' at? I'm there, fighting those toddly little kids, with that damn dog doing his 'strangle an' kill' attack on my neck, while you hang around the mountains doing nothing!" Marrek shouted, coming up to Protosis and slamming his hands on the arm of the stone chair. Protosis stayed calm. "What did we gain? Nothing! What did we lose? The damn egg!"

"Acutally, I gathered a bit of information." Corrected Protosis. "We know about their weapons now, personalities, and a few other things..." He muttered, still looking at his sword from last time. Marrek twisted around and stared at the injured wolf.

"That bloody thing nearly killed me! What do you have planned next? A trip to the Underworld?" Snarled Marrek. Protosis titled his head back and a gave a shallow laugh.

"No, we're going to the Old West... to pick up an Outlaw... I promise this now, it will be worth it..."

Sarek walked slowly down the corridor on, towards the science labs. For no reason at all, he just wanted to test somethings out with his own blood, nothing a child couldn't do, in fact. But legend and myth couldn't explain somethings science could. He walked through the door, and stopped dead when seeing Dave there, looking closely at the egg.

"You? To what to I owe this annoying visit?" Growled Dave, glancing up once then putting his head back down.

"I was going to run some test on my blood, but now you're here, you can help me." Snarled Sarek in return. Dave shook his head and picked up the egg, carrying it too a white table.

"I can't, I've got to see what's in this." Dave explained. Sarek sighed, and began to walk around the room, glancing at the walls filled with test tubes, books, strange objects and white walls. Sarek would be able to live in this room. Perfect white, a colour which Sarek found hard to remember, but did know it was once the colour of his entire life, in ice.

"Do you think Protosis will jump anytime soon?" Sarek asked Dave, looking at the dried u cuts on his arm. Dave, for once, smirked happily at Sarek and shook his head.

"You all gave him a real kick up the ass, so he'll be licking his wounds, for awhile... at least..."

Maya sat across from Canathael with a huge grin on her face. She couldn't quite explain to herself was she was smiling so much. Maybe it was his innocent nature. The whole being called "lady" thing was kinda cool too, she thought. And maybe it was the fact that he was sitting cross-legged. But nevertheless, Maya found herself smiling more then she had for a long time. Somehow, somewhere, Maya felt a connection to Canathael. According to Pieter, this Elisa girl was someone very close to him, who judging by his actions, where he almost tumbled on top of her, Maya judged was now gone. Maya knew that feeling all too well, losing someone you cared the most for. She wanted to ask him if it was true, but was too afraid to bring back those sad memories when he seemed in a good mood. Canathael had just finished speaking when a low rumble was heard.

"What was that?" Canathael asked as he looked around.

Maya blushed and held her stomach. "I think it was my tummy telling me I need to eat something." She said with a smile. "Come on, Canathael. Let's go get some lunch." Canathael nodded and the two headed for the cafeteria. "Man, I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!" Maya exclaimed as they headed down the cooridor.

"A...horse?" Canathael asked, puzzled.

"Hehe, nevermind. It's just an old expression." Maya said with another grin. The two entered the cafeteria, only to hear a wierd noise come from their communicators. "What's that?" Canathael asked as he looked at his new comminicator.

"So much for lunch," Maya sighed.

Watching Dave stare motionlessly through his scope, Sarek hadn't noticed the communicator's strange sound at first. When he did, he instantly snapped it open and looked in puzzlement.

"Dave...?" He asked. Dave looked up and gave him a 'What've you done now?' look. Raising an eyebrow, Dave moved forward and snatched the communicator out of Sarek's hands.

"Ohhh shit!" He shouted. Suddenly, Dave jumped up and raced out of the room, with Sarek tailing behind. "Protosis seems to be making another leap, but I can't make it out. Come with me to the main control, I'll work on trying to fix this problem to get the others here." Dave explained, running forward faster. Sarek jogged in a quick pace to keep up, but slowed down as they came to the black doors leading to the control room. They hissed open before the two, and Dave quickly ran towards a small panel near a wall, putting on a small set of earphones. He signaled for Sarek to move over to the main control panel, and Sarek did as instructed.

Looking over the controls in confusment, Sarek simply stared. He hadn't the slightest clue what was going on, but Dave came to the rescue and looked over.

"Well, looks like he's trying to make a jump. Stupid idiots going too soon. We should have about an hours delay this time, but that's not long considering what we have to do." He explained.

"What do we have to do?" Sarek asked. Dave tapped the spiraling timeline on the control panel and sighed.

"Look at this. It's in a time we like to call the "Old West", and basically it's pretty crazy. We need to get you some clothes to fit in, some weapons, and basically... you all need to be filled in. It's bloody dangerous, believe me. I've tried to call the others to the briefing room, while you were all away I was working on the communicator problem. We'll meet them there, in the briefing room, that is." Dave explained. Sarek gave a slight nod, and followed Dave towards the briefing room.

When stepping inside, he noticed the room was large with dull colours and a large long table in the middle, with 7 chairs around. There were computers at the side and stacks of paper on one end of the table.

Well... this sure looks inviting... Sarek mumbled in his head, staring at the oddly formal style of the room, which he had never seen before.

Canathael and Maya decided to head to the lower levels of the ship to see if they could ask dave about the odd noises comming through their communicators. The two had been standing in a lift when an automated female voice spoke over the speaker system.

"All members, please report to the briefing room, I repeat, all members to the briefing room."

Canathael looked up bemusedly, wondering where the voice had come from, or if it had merely been his imagination. He looked to Maya for an answer who appeared equaly confused as to how she could explain a PA system. Before either could react the lift came to a stop and opened its doors to the corridor leading to the briefing room. Somehow the lift had changed dirrections while the two heard the announcement, a "modern" marvel that even surprised Maya.

Canathael smiled at the lift as they stepped away from it, his eyes sparkling with wonderment.

"What strange magic..." He mused as the lift gave a mechanical sigh and began its ascent to the higher levels of the ship.

Maya let out an amused sigh as she halted her steps to look back at the amazed sorcerer, whose eyes were still afixed to the lift. She walked back and swiftly grasped his hand, which caught him a bit off guard.

"Come on." She said plainly, pulling him towards the briefing room, "We're going to be late."

He nodded slowly, quite amazed at the girl's boldness. Most maids in his time were too timid and distant for such bizzare acts, but not Lady Maya it seemed. Canathael lightly scolded himself for assuming such things of the girl, he knew that not everyone he met would meet his historical standards or cultural similarities.

He briefly figured that spending time with Lady Maya would be a good way to start being comfortable with the other travelers. He had to admit he knew little about Sir Sutaru and Lady Li, Sir Sarek seemed a bit distant himself, but a good soul deep down. Canathael felt that he had developed somewhat of a strong bond with Sir Peiter, who had carried him along when he was wounded, something that he had not been exposed to much, as he had never had such a strong ally. Sir David didn't seem fond of anyone, which really didn't bother Canathael that much. And then there was Lady Maya.

He had caught up to her pace, but realized she was still holding his hand, he smiled at this. Yes, she was bold indeed, not many in his time would even think of acting this way towards a young man such as himself, All but Elsia. He looked down at her warmly, but held a bit of saddness in his eyes. Maya glanced up at him, somehow feeling his stare, she carefully regarded his look, then addopted an expression of embarassment, dropping his hand and turning her flushed cheeks away.

Canathael smiled more at this, almost commenting when the briefing room door slid open before them.

The sorcerer jumped back from the black slabs that slid apart before him, he warily frownd knowing deep down that he'd never get used to this. Maya walked along ahead of him into the room, leaving the sorcerer to look over the doorway cautiously.

"Hey, Canathael!" Dave barked in a tiresome manner from his seat, "In or out, alright?"

Canathael smiled apologeticaly, not really caring for the man's tone, but stepped through the door anyway. He gave a short startled hop forward when they swiftly shut with a clap behind him, receiving an agrivated head shake from Dave. Sarek, who chose to lean against the far wall, wasn't even paying attention.

Canathael, strode to the seat next to Maya, and would paitiently wait for the others to make their entrance.

Pieter walked into the briefing room, a bratwurst and cheese sandwhich in one hand, a bottle of schnapps in the other. He was dissheveled looking and was clearly a bit tipsy. "What is it now? God damn Amerikaner won't let a man drink in peace..." He stumbled in to a seat and sat down, placing the bottle in front of him and staring at it intently, paying no attention to the looks of disapproval on Cael and David's faces.

"This bottle is full of amazing schnapps, and yet, i can't seem to get drunk. It amazes me. " He took a large bite of the half-eaten sandwich and looked at David.

"What kind of mission are we going on now?"

"You're going to the American West, circa 1877. And give me that bottle."

"Nein! It's my bottle! It's my drink. Get your own, Amerikaner." He took a pull from the bottle and held it away from David's outstretched hand, glaring at him as if daring the man to try and take it.

Maya strummed her hand impatiently on the top of the table, putting her head in her other hand, and sighed. "This is so unfair. Here I am, practically starving to death, while he eats a sandwhich in front of me." Maya thought as she looked across the table to the ongoing battle between Dave and Pieter, Pieter still winning, Dave, practically cursing at him. "That's it," Maya said as she slammed her hands on the top of the table, and shoved her seat back. This seemed to quiet the two boys, as she stormed to the other side of the table, and yanked the bottle out of Pieter's hands. "Really, I would think "grown" men would know their limit. Obviously, you're still a child," Maya said as she looked at Pieter. "And you," she said as she turned to Dave. "How hard was that? Come on, show some backbone." Dave glared at her as the sound of the door opening was heard, and both Li and Suturu walked through it. "Thank God," Maya exclaimed as she handed the bottle to Sarek, and retook her seat next to Canathael, who was holding back a smile.

"What's so funny?" Maya asked as the two other members took thier seats.

"It's nothing," Canathael said grinning, as Dave regained his seat at the table. Maya looked questionably at Canathael, but decided to remain quiet since Dave had started talking.

"It seems Protosis has decided to make another jump," Dave began. A number of questions jumped onto the table, including "What??", "I thought you said we'd get a break!", and "Where are we going?".

"We're going to the Old West, it seems." Dave said, ignoring most of the interuptions.

"You mean, like John Wayne?" Maya asked. Dave glared at her.

Eh, just to give this a little push along

"Not exactly..." Dave answered Maya's question accompanied with a frustrated sigh. He glared over the table, making absolutely sure that everyone was quiet again before he went on, "Protosis is making his way to the central north american continent year 1877, more commonly known to some of you as the 'old west'."

He pressed a few buttons on a pannel in front of him as hollographic images spiraled above the center of the table. They all looked upon a small town, nestled comfortably amongst the dusty yellow ground, quietly resting underneith a clear blue sky. Dave pressed a few more buttons and the veiw had zoomed closer into the town. People walked this way and that, bustling about on foot, on horse or by carriage. Women walked in pairs along the market dressed in long flowing skirts, men spitting tobacco outside the local tavern were tipping their hats to the women. All seemed calm and normal, quite a quaint place to reside in. The time travelers exchanged pleased glances, perhaps this would be a relatively better trip than the jurrasic age.

"What a wonderfull place..." Canathael mused aloud.

Sarek snorted from where he stood, the idea that he'd be spending time in a warm and dry desert didn't apeal to him.

"Yeah," Dave said a bit sarcasticaly, "just keep watching."

The peace of the scene was interrupted when a dozen or so horses came charging into the town, thier riders weilding pistols and longshooters. They hooted and hollared, gunning down anyone in their path and letting their horses trample those who fell. Women screamed and men fired back at the bandits.

The scene was so abrupt and violent, that as soon as it started it had ceased. The town proper was left in a cloud of dust, those who survived standing with their expressions of awe.

Dave pressed another button, the scene before the equally shocked time travelers vanished from sight,

"Well, that's the West in a nutshell." He reached for the stack of papers and began passing them out, "Dangerous and equally unpredictable....so, are there any questions?"

OOC: Sorry I wasn't on to post, my internet cut off while I was trying to post -.-

The room filled with silence and no one spoke. Dave suddenly clapped his hands together.

"Good. We've got enough time to get some equipment ready." He said. "You'll need the right clothes and weapons, but I'd suggest you keep your weapons hidden. Come with me to the portal." Dave said. He got up quickly and made his way out of the door, but it took awhile for everyone else to get up. Sarek sighed heavily and followed after the others.

-

"I will NOT walk around in these!" Snarled Sarek staring down at the black shirt covered with a leather jacket. A red piece of cloth covered his mask and his sword was still on his back, though Dave said it would be better to leave the long swords behind Sarek refused.

"Shut up. Here, put this long coat on that should stop you moaning." Dave barked back throughing a long black coat to Sarek. He sighed again and put it on, noticing it was indeed long and hide most of his sword. The others had picked out a few sets of clothing from the closet Dave had picked out, but still Sarek refused to leave anything behind. "And put this on." Dave added, throwing a black hat over to Sarek. Sarek looked up and caught the hat in both hands. He noticed it was like the ones the men wore in the holographic image Dave had shown them, and he also noticed it might be good to hide his eyes if he kept it down.

"The only thing good about this period is their weapons..." Muttered Sarek putting the hat on and moving it down a little over his eyes.

"Okay that should do it. Sarek you go in first, and I'll send the others as soon as their done." Dave said putting the "thumbs up" signal which Sarek had noticed often. "I'll run up to the control room. I've modified the portal so you shouldn't lose each other." He shouted back running out of the room, but still looking over his shoulder at Sarek.

Sarek just sighed. Whatever he had done to deserve such an awful end of his life, he regreted it. He was already sick of going through portals. Whatever happened in the next mission would mean dressing up, AGAIN. He growled and muttered to himself, then took the silver pistol out of the belt and stared at it. Sure, it was a lot better than his sword but it wasn't exactly his type of weapon. He growled to himself again, but was cut off when the portal was activated. Once again, energy from the middle of the portal spread out until the whole portal was full of blue energy, and Sarek walked forward.

"Somebody... kill me..." He growled to himself as he slowly stepped through hoping he would come out back in his own, dead time.

Canathael stepped from the small dressing niche that had been assigned to him, and gave himself a once over in a nearby reflective surface.

He was wearing a white button up shirt covered by a brown cloth vest along with long brown pants held up by suspenders and were tucked into the tops of his leather boots. He also wore a long rawhide duster coat, that resembled the fashion of his robes quite nicely. He held a wide brimmed hat in his hand and was toting two pistols holstered at his hips.

He smiled at his reflection, quite liking the way he looked in these outlandish western clothes. The pistols worried him a bit though, as he didn't know how to use them and the last time he tried he ended up nearly putting himself in a comma. He sighed, knowing that he should make the best of the sittuation.

Canathael wandered down the corridor, meeting david on his way to controll room,

"Ah, Sir David, thank you very much for the clothing, you have been most kind." Canathael generously thanked the the man giving a small bow, David threw his hands up and waved at the air.

"Nah, it's no problem, you make a regular Billy the kid." He turned and headed furthur up the hallway, " But Canathael, drop the formalities, This is the Old West, not a teaparty."

Canathael stood, slowly taking in the information frowning. He knew that David was right, why should he hold onto such things as his archaic curtousy or even a sense of nobility? It seemed that no one in these worlds valued these things anymore.

The wicked thoughts began to strangle frustrated tears from the sorcerer, yet he quickly attempted to swipe them away then place his hat low on his brow when he heard hollow footsteps comming up the corridor.

"Canathael!!" Maya yelled as she ran up the corridor, waving to him as she saw him down the hallway. She skidded to a stop before him, and spun around. "How do I look?" She said as she smiled up at him, hands clasped behind her back. The long blue fabric of Maya's dress was still turning a bit, the lace at the bottom quiet frilly. You could see the boots Maya was wearing, they looked just like her school shoes, only made of cowhide. She still kept her mase and knives inside of them. Traveling up, Canathael noticed her red belt, and the top of her dressed, marked with a scarf that seemed to hang off her shoulders, being tied in the front. Maya's dress was also long-sleeved, and she was wearing a blue hat, her hair flowing down her back, this time not pulled up. "It seems people in this period are more modest." Maya said as she smiled up at Canathael.

Canathael was at a seeming lost for words. "You look lovely, Lady Maya," the sorcerer said with a small bow. "If I may ask, how do I look?" The sorcerer asked.

Maya giggled as she examined him. "You look like someone straight out of those John Wayne movies," she said with a smile. "I see you've got weapons." Maya said as she pointed to the two guns. "Can you use those?" Canathael nodded, though not quiet sure of himself. "Good," Maya contiuned. "I've got a small one here, but it's not proper for the girls to wear them where they will be noticed." Maya explained. "Well, shall we go?" Maya asked as she smiled up at him.

"Come, Lady Maya. Let us start this new adventure." Canathael said as he grabbed her hand, and the two headed for the portal.

"We're ready Dave!" Maya yelled as she saw the blue light appear before her and spread out. Canathael was looking a little apprihensive, but Maya sqeezed his hand and smiled. Canathael looked down at the young girl, nodded back, and allowed himself to be lead inside.

Pieter stepped out of his changing room. He was dressed, quite comfortably he thought, in a pair of brown pants, a calico, long sleeved shirt, and black suspenders. Over this he wore a navy blue vest. He had attatched hsi pocket watch to this, according to the fashion. He wore a dark brown duster, that swirled around his booted feet, which made him a bit uncomforatble. He was afraid he would trip over the damn thing. Settled on his waist was a gun belt, carrying a single revolver. It was comforting to have a firearm, but it was heavier than he was used to, and he had secretly stowed his own P38 into his vest. Slung across his chest was a bandolier of rifle rounds, and he carried a Winchester Repeater over own shoulder. It carried more rounds than his own rifle, but probably wasn't as accurate or powerful. Settled on his head was a black sluch hat, which he adjusted now as he stepped back into the breifing room.

"Let's get going, Ja?"

OOC: I'll have to talk to Inari and Deimos to see if they're still in. If we don't get a post from them on page 6 then their characters will be still in but we will have to kill them off.

Taking out his gun once again Sarek stared at it. He knew it could kill anyone of them in a second, so he knew they'd all have to be extra careful. He shoved his back in the hoslter and sighed, looking behind as the portal closed. He would have to wait for the others, of course, but he had the time. He stared ahead and in the distance he could see a small city across a river, but exactly where was he? In some sort of desert place, he knew that, but Sarek felt... strange. As if he was in the right place and time, but it was like he was being watched.

"Strange place..." He grumbled noting the heat. He glanced around again and from the top of some sort of hill, he saw someone looking over at him with a large gun in their hand, aiming directly at Sarek. By pure instinct Sarek jumped out of the way and rolled over, hearing a load "bang" as he did and the sand beside him jump up.

If he saw me come through the portal he can't be let go! Protosis might not know we're here yet, and if he doesn't we can attack him first this time, but he... might be working for Protosis... Sarek let his trail of thought run for awhile, then came to the conclusion that whoever it was shouldn't be let go. Suddenly, the small person ahead began to turn around and run. Sarek took the gun from his side and aimed it at the figure, aiming for his leg only. He shot, but missed. The gun shot was causing Sarek's hand to move up before he fired, so he braced his arm with his other hand, then shot again. There was another loud bang which caused his eyes to blink as he did. There was a low shout from the man and he almost fell to the ground, but managed to stay up, limping on one leg.

Sarek didn't think nothing more of the annoying weapon he was using and ran forward with as much speed as possible. The man turned back and tried, without much sucess, to run ahead on one leg. Sarek easily came up to him, and grabbed the small man by his hair and lifted him to his feet. Quickly, Sarek grabbed him fiercly in a headlock and snarled at him. He was wearing the same clothes as Sarek had saw, he thought they looked all the same, although his hat had fallen off. The man was smalled than Sarek, and weaker by his efforts to get loose.

"What did you see?" Snapped Sarek. The man didn't speak, he just struggled more. "Trying to escape me is futile. I out weigh you, I have a weapon and you don't, and you will be out numbered in a few minutes." Sarek snapped. He tightened his grip on the man, and growled again.

"Everything." He finally replied in a gasp of his breath.

"How many more are there of you?" Sarek growled. The man shook his head.

"None. I was just travelling to that town, I don't know anyone else! I didn't mean t-" He was cut off as Sarek asked another question.

"Every heard of Protosis?" He said.

"No! I haven't! I've never been to that town down there, honestly! I didn't mean to attack you, I was just startled!" The man said. Sarek gave a slow nod and loosened his grab, letting him go. The man jumped back and limbed a bit to the side. Sarek looked at him, noticing the man was clearly afraid. Then it hit Sarek that he should've worn something to cover his eyes. Then, he saw a sort of blue rift appear from the same place as himself, someone was coming through.

"I can't let you go now. You must stay with me so you cannot tell anyone of how we got here or what we saw. Though in this timeline you will be a guide for us, I believe that would be best." Sarek explained taking the man's shoulder.

"Time...line, sir?" He stuttered.

"I will explain later. And my name is Sarek Luther. You can tell me yours later."

Pieter sighed as he caught up to Sarek. He couldn't match the odd man's speed, but could probably give hima bit of a challnge in the stamina department. He shook hsi head as he looked at the shaking man "You did not have to scare him so much, Sarek."

"I do what want. Now be silent."

Pieter placed a hand on Sarek's shoulder as the larger man turned away, back towards the terrified native. "Nein. I think not. Who put you in charge? I am of the highest military rank here, and so I should be in charge. You do not know the slightest thing about being subtle, I think. And since there are people around, we must be subtle. Which means lose the swords, dumkopff."

He turned to the man, bracing himself for Sarek's reply. "Now, Mein Herr, please be so kind as to escort myself and my companions to the town."

Canathael blinked feircely against the bright sun hanging high overhead the area he and Maya had walked into. He winced around, lowering the brim of his hat slightly to ward off the glare. Heat waves danced in the distance between them and the decent sized town, seeming that they were dropped a bit far off.

That must have been best, it wouldn't have been good to just appear in front of prying eyes.

"Canathael look," Maya tugged on his hand, which she was still holding to get his attention, "Looks like Sarek and Peiter are making friends already."

The brown haired sorcerer dirrected his gaze to where the girl pointed on top of a shallow hill nearby. His brow furrowed at the sight, seeing as how The futuristic warrior and the soldier were engaged in a heated argument, the frightened man nearly cowering away from the two.

"Oh dear..." Canathael muttered begining to make his way towards the hill, gently leading Maya along by her hand. By the time the two had arrived at the sittuation, both Sarek and Peiter had stopped talking to eachother. The soldier stood patiently by the western gentleman, and sarek faced the other way, arms crossed frustratedly.

Canathael smiled warmly at the man as he approached, Tipping his hat in greeting, imitating what he saw in the hollogram,

"Greetings my good sir," He quirped merrily strangling a disguted snort from Sarek, "this surely is good weather for these parts, is it not?"

The man only gave him an estranged look, where exactly were these characters comming from? All he knew was he wanted to get as far away as he could from these freaks. And what was this about being a guide? He wasn't anyone's guide, was he supposed to know these people? He winced at the strangers, keeping a carefull eye on the man who called himself Sarek, the one who shot him. the sharp ache in his lower leg. Lucky for him the warrior's bullet didn't connect, yet the grazing still left a nasty wound. The man wobbled a bit on his good leg, still glancing around at each member of the odd group.

Canathael watched him carefully, studying him as best as he could. He was a young man just finishing his full growth. It was apparent by the way his lean lanky body fit loosely around his clothing and by the small traces of hair sprouting on his chin. He was a rather fair lad, scraggly blonde hair sprouting every which-way from beneith his wide brimmed hat, dazzlingly clear cobalt eyes wide and darting about nervously. He was dressed rather simply, a thin buttoned cotton shirt and a pair of thick russet pants held up by black suspenders.

The sorcerer smiled softly, such an innocent stuck in such a time. His thoughts halted as he looked upon a wound the young man had on his shin. The fabric of his pants was sliced cleanly, blood seeping into the dark material. Worry overcame Canathael's expression as he knealt in front of the man, reaching his hand out to the wound. The young man hopped back several steps, then slipped falling to his rear, obviously afraid of the Ivy eyed man.

"You're wounded." He stated simply, rising again. The lad's eyes widened as he pointed an accusing finger at Sarek's back.

"He shot at me!" he shreiked; fear beginning to get the better of him. Sarek let out a low groan that sounded oddly like a growl,

"He saw me come through the portal, I couldn't have let him get away." He spoke tonelessly his back still facing them, as if he didn't want the stranger looking at his face. Canathael knealt down to the young man again, moving slowly and smoothly.

"May I inquire your name sir?" Although his dialect was odd, the lad still understood his question. He let out a low shuddered sigh,

"John Robbins." He spoke lowly, his cobalt eyes still affixed to the Sarek-man's back.

"John." The sorcerer spoke fluidly, giving him a warm claming smile, "My name is Canathael Merryson, may I take a look at your wound?"

John nodded slowly, watching the man before him remove a small satchel attached near the rear of his belt, a madicine pack, was this man an indian healer? He looked over the fair dark haired, green eyed man. No, he couldn't have been from any tribe that existed around here.

Canathael lifted up the young man's pantleg, beginning to clean and treat the wound, softly humming a tune his foster mother had sang while she fixed up one of his scratches as a boy. He found it calming, and by the looks of it, John needed quite a bit of calm.

Sutaru was standing close to where the portal first spawned on the ground laying down unconcious not nowing the group left. Sutaru slowly opened his eyes later and gained his conciousness back and covered his eyes from the sun,as he sat up looking around lost.Sutaru got onto his feet and took a small but thick book out of his deep pockets and started to read it. It was a book on how to use and master alchemy because he thought it might come in handy for future uses. He went to the third page and then started to quickly run north while reading the book, he was running aimlessly since he didn't know where any of the team was and it seemed that the team didn't even remember him.

Sutaru quickly ran foreward as he seen a rise in the ground which was a hill and it gave him some shade. He started to jog as he was enjoying the moment then he saw a group of figured on top of the hill standing there. He then picked up the pace and quickly ran up there and ge was relieved to see that it was Sarek,Maya,Canathael and the rest of his group there. When he stepped up Sarek heared him and he quickly turned his head to see who it was.

"........Hi?" Sutaru said embarresed and curiously

"Why are you even apart of this group?" Sarek said coldly

Sutaru and the rest of the company ignored Sareks remark and pointed all of their attention to the man that Canathael was helping and treating his wounds. Sutaru didn't know what his name was but he didn't care, he thought he was an ally since they were helping him out. Sutaru was wondering what and why was Canathael humming but he tried to ignore it.

"Who's he?" Sutaru asked calmly

"John" Canathael quickly answered

Canathael slowly and gentally cleaned Johns leg with a clear soft liquid that he rubbed on the wound, then he ripped off a peice of his sleeve and wrapped it around the wound to keep in sealed. Canathael stood up slowly and stopped humming to show that he was done treating Johns wounds. Sutaru raised his hand and put it over his eye because of the brightness and because of the heat and was starting to sweat bullets as he was waiting for the response from John.

"Follow me,I will take you to the closest town" John said relaxed

"Finally....." Sutaru mumbled to himself angry with the heat

No one else said a word and just followed him with no remarks told and no questions asked......

OOC: Inari can't post here anymore, but I will keep her character in the RPG until we can give her a good end ^_^

Sarek stood by and titled his head at the group walking a bit ahead of him, and glanced over his shoulder as Li walked through the portal, at last. Her clothes didn't seem very different, well... the dress she wore didn't anyway.

"You just came in time, I was about to leave without you..." Sarek grumbled walking ahead. "Oh, and if I take out my gun and shoot Pieter or Canathael in the head, don't tell them it was me, okay?" Sarek added, glancing over his shoulder. Li looked at him with confusion and just gave a slight nod, while Sarek just followed their new guide.

The group entered a small town were people passed them, some giving them a greeting and saying hello. Canathael, as always replied with his cheery greetings, and the others in their own ways while Sarek just ignored them.

"What happened back there?" John asked from the front of the group. Sarek was too busy glancing side to side at all the people and those creatures Dave called "horses" around to notice John's question.

"Is there a place we could stop and explain?" Li asked from beside Sarek. John stopped and pointed over to a large wooden building not to far away.

"There," Everyone looked up at the building, a Tavern (...or bar... whatever). Sarek tilted his head to the side.

"Looks good enough." He grumbled. John nodded slightly and headed towards the building, with the others walking behind. John pushed too wooden doors open, and they all walked into a densly crowded place which had smoke and smelt like alchohol, a substance which Sarek knew of but never knew its name (used for healing in his time). John led them to a table at the back of the room, and Sarek just stood up against the wall behind Pieter and Maya, who sat down.

"I'll get you some drinks." John said running off. There was silence among the group and the only noise was coming from the loud crowd around them.

"I don't think we should tell him..." Sarek muttered.

"You wanted to a minute ago!" Pieter snapped back.

"I did, but maybe it is a bad idea... look at the guy, could he really understand everything we say?" Sarek said. He looked over at Canathael. "Canathael's smarter than that kid!" He growled. Canathael's head jolted up at Sarek, but Sarek didn't budge or change his remark. Suddenly, John came back to the table with a large bottle of yellow-ish orange liquid and 7 small glasses.

"Now, tell me everything." He said enthusiasically(sp?). Sarek groaned.

Canathael narrowed his gaze dangerously at Sarek, finaly having enough of the futuristic warrior. A smooth grin replaced his scowl as he looked over at the expectant John, who was pouring drinks for everyone at the table. If sarek wanted to play this little I-hate-you-but-I-wont-say-it game, then he'd have to play by some very different rules.

The Sorcerer smiled accepting the glass that was handed to him, "Thank you kindly." He quirped placing the drink on the table neatly next to his hat. Canathael's ivy eyes rose to meet John's coblat gaze, He took a deep steady

"The six of us are from the future and the past," Canathael lifted his gaze for a moment to find Sarek's you-are-a-deadman glare when he surprisingly returned a defiant what-are-you-going-to-do-about-it stare.

"you mean..." John spoke, unaware of the tension building around him, "you're all traveling through time, but how?"

"How isn't important." Canathael answered, "We're looking for a man called protosis, he wishes to destroy this world. We have the knowlege that he came here, we're supposed to stop him at all costs."

John sat still for a moment, running a hand through his cornsilk har as he absorbed the information. after a short while he nodded,

"Yeah, ok." his eyes studied the table, and not anyone around him, the newfound knowlege had shaken him up a bit, "And you want me to show you around right?"

"If you would be so kind..." Canathael answered with a smile, "Perhaps even if you could help us understand this culture a bit better."

Sarek had had enough of this, as he went rigid against the wall, glaring daggers at the sorcerer,

"We don't need this help," He growled, "he's only a hindrance now that he knows about us, one more weakling to worry about."

Canathael rose from his seat, a bit more hurriedly than he meant, returning the heated gaze to the icy warrior,

"Sir Sarek." He said sternly trying his damndest to keep his polite exterior in tact, gaining the gazes of a few other patrons inside the smoky tavern, "Would you please accompany me outside?"

"Hey!" Maya hissed next to him quietly, "No fighting!"

The tall brunet didn't answer as he turned heel and headed for the back exit waiting for sarek to follow.

Sarek let out a low sigh and pushed through the crowds and out towards Canathael, who was waiting outside. He came out into the run and growled a few words to himself, before Canathael spoke.

"Just who do you think you are?" he snapped. Sarek shrugged.

"I don't need a memory refresher." Sarek snarled back. Canathael came closer to Sarek's face and stared him in the eye.

"You keep insulting everyone! Why?" he asked. Sarek shrugged again.

"It's the way I am. Unlike you, I never had anyone to compliment. I lived in a place were I was the only human left, for most of the time. It was life or death, and death anyone. My only goal was to keep alive, and that had nothing in it for me because no matter what, I would always die before my time would end. Do you think I had time to think about my personality or stop to think from another person's point of view? No, because there was no one around for me to think about!" Sarek was shouting now, and a few people were looking at the two. "I only knew my parents for a few years! They were the only humans I knew of for the most, you stupid, annoying little brat!" Sarek was pleased with the remark, calling Canathael a little brat, because that's how he saw him.

"Well, you would think they'd teach you some manners!" spat Canathael. Sarek suddenly grabbed Canathael's shirt and snarled.

"Manners? What use would manners be? Why would they teach me them? My parents, my family, MY PEOPLE who are long dead had no need for manners because they had the only need to survive and prove that the human race was worthwhile, and yet you would have me change my ways with forgien feelings? My pride is in the human race, of that which is the last, that which is you! People don't remember you by manners and how polite you are, they remember you on how much of a warrior you were. If I was to let everything I stood for go just for manners, what kind of end would that be for the human race?" Sarek said all this in a low, hissing voice as if he was a snake ready to bite Canathael's head off. Canathael snapped Sarek's arms away and looked at him in the eyes.

"A better one than you planned." he sneered. Sarek suddenly found himself taking out his gun, and pointing it at Canathael's face. Some people in the town ran away, and others stood still and watched, but Canathael didn't seem to move. He didn't understand. None of them did.

"You say I insult you, but you just made the biggest insult of all! I can't help what I am, and now you can't help what I will become!" Sarek lowered his gun, and dropped it too the ground, then he walked off, wanting nothing to do with Canathael or any of them.

Canathael watched Sarek sulk down the street with a steady emerald gaze. For a breif moment he was afraid that Sarek would actualy shoot him. Now left with the feeling he had gained from their encounter, being shot would be welcomed.

It was true, he didn't understand the cold hearted warrior at all, but he did understand what it was to be completely alone. He did have people back in his time, but he had the most precious souls taken away from him.

Sarek was now only a blur in the distance as Canathael stooped to pick up his abandoned gun.

"I can't help what I am, and now you can't help what I will become" His words rang clear in the sorcerer's mind. Canathael smiled in the dirrection in which Sarek left.

"I'm willing to bet I can..." He spoke to himself, walking back towards the Tavern.

A worried looking Peiter met him at the entrance, good, best not to let the others know what's going on. The soldier looked past Canathael, eyes searching for Sarek,

"Where's Sarek? What happened?"

Canathael handed him Sarek's gun, and gave him a reassuring smile,

"I'm going to go find Sarek, we'll be back as soon as possible." He said before he turned and headed off after Sarek.

"I'll find you, and I'll show you that you are no longer alone." The brunette promised the warrior privately.
