PWNED
Story: Decades of years ago the daermor appeared on the face of Faerun, They passed, from all the planes of death and darkness, through the cursed pools and wells of magic. Hundreds and thousands of lives were lost to the demons as they spread like a disease until the only ones that were worth fighting were the clerical warriors and paladins of Tyr, the even-handed. A small ragtag group of adventurers, three of them being warriors of Tyr, two sorcerors, a barbarian and a Ranger-thief were called upon to use a holy artifact named the hammer of Tyr and destroy what was used to bring the monsters from their planes of existence. This object was none other that the pool of shadows which possessed the greatest power of all of the pools. The cleric of Tyr cast the Hammer of Tyr into the murky depths and destroyed the pool. But before the hammer would return like it usuallly did; The foul magic of Bane, The god of despair, swiped the hammer from Tyrs grasps and before Bane was destroyed by the holy might of Tyrs hammer, He cast the hammer far-away from the grasp of Tyr. Now, fifty years later, The city of Phlan is collapsing into ruin and the clerics are slowly dieing out one after the other. A book of prophecys, written by the hand of Bane which tells the prophercy of Banes downfall and where he will cast the hammer has been found oncemore has been found by a traveling merchant and has been sold to the temple of Tyr. The prophercy states that the child of the child of one of the heros will find the hammer and use it to restore the greatness of Phlan. Tasrai
Name: Jorr Yekilbur Age: 26 Race: human Class: thief/ bard Weapon: he is a every weapon sort of person, but preferred weapon would be a trusty old ax Appearance: PIC Since you can't see from his waist down...he wears black baggy pants, the ends of which he stuffs in his brown leather boots. He keeps a short sword sheathed at the left side of his waist and keeps a small ax belted to the right side. He has a leather bag in which he keeps his lyre and pipe/flute and a huge many colored patched cloak, which can be worn either way, the other side being black. Bio: Jorr is the son of a bard named Renirth and Leana from the town of Gilthana she was it's pride and joy. They lived happily until Leana was killed, a tragic accident with a horse, when Jorr was around eight (cause of Jorr's fear of horses). After Leana died everything changed in Jorr's life. Nobody seemed to like his dad and him anymore, they all blamed them for Leana's death. Renirth took to the road, taking Jorr with him. They travelled from town to town living in each for a period from a month to even a year sometimes, in each town it seemed that Jorr found teachers in every town and he being a fast learner had by the age of nineteen picked up various skills some of them good such as blacksmithing and carpentry and some bad such as a quick hand and gambling. And of course he was an excellent bard skilled in storytelling, the lyre, and the pipe, he can also juggle and do some acrobatics such as flipping. The only thing he hadn't learned was how to read. Then on the day he turned twenty his beloved father died, leaving behind him his patched cloak of colors, his lyre, and his pipe. Jorr took these items up and left town, leaving behind him his real last name Yekilburn, and instead goes by Lightfoot. Deciding not to follow in his father's footsteps Jorr became a mercenary for some while, even joining a mercenary band. He stayed in it for about five years, learning how to use all sorts of weaponry and becoming skilled in the art of war and killing. Then one morning after a night of drinking, he woke up in the forest with a knife in his side, apparently his band had given him up for dead and dumped him in the forest. Somehow, miraculously his bag full of his father's stuff was beside him. Jorr took it as a sign and decided to follow after his father and to never drink again. Now he goes about from town to town telling stories or playing tunes when for room and board, or filching when he needs to. Until he stole from the wrong person...
PWNED
Name: Tir McDohl Age: 22 Race: Human Class: Conjurer ( I forgot to add this and a few other specialist schools of magic. The ones I forgot were Invoker, Transmutor, Enchanter, Conjurer, Diviner and Battle Mage) Weapon: Tir weilds a staff that is tipped with iron at the ends although he also utalises a dagger which he hides in his boot. Appearence: Biography: Tir is the child of one of the sorceresses who destroyed the pool of shadows who died a few months after giving birth to Tir. Tir was sent to live at the tower of the red mage, with a mage called Shal Denasea who took him in with her husband and young child and taught him to manipulate magic. Tir took to magic quickly, being able to cast simple cantrips at the age of 10 although it took him a while to learn about the history of magic. He finally proved himself to being a magic-user at the age of 20 when he finally was able to bring forth a familiar as his companion. Granted, The familiar was an obnoxious, self-obsessed, greedy, rude, all- together annoying ice Mephit called Zodar but it was a familiar none the less. So Tir went out into the world, using his magic to annoy and to do moderatly good things even though they are always for personal gains. This is how Tir came to Phlan where he came across a small keep infested with Hill Giants. He and his not so faithful mephit routed the giants rather easily by making one of them a eunuch by performing an unfair spell which had some rather personal results :wow:. Tir took the castle as his reward which is where he stays at the moment.
THE EVIL EYE
I was wondering if certain classes could have different skills, You know Clerics & Paladins being able to turn undead, Mages and the sub-types of mages could summon familiars and stuff like that. I'm not trying to take over this RPG but it is just an idea.
