Sage leaned back and pretended to watch Ty whoop on Mahony. Her main focus was on Senkai.

"So, what were you saying to Ty? He looked a little confused when I got here."

He cocked his head to the side and looked at her. "Hell, how did you hear?"

"God, what is it with people and being surprised at things like these? I hear a lot of things, Senkai. A lot of things."

"I just told him the simple truth. To keep his head on the job and not on other things."

"Ty never thinks about anything but his business, Senkai. Surely you've seen that in him. He takes everything dead seriously as if it meant his life."

"Well, recent things have come up that might steer his mind elsewhere."

Sage knew what he was getting at. "It's not like that Senkai. We're friends. Aren't people allowed to be friends in this world without people getting the wrong impression?" she said angrily.

"Of course they are. But you two seem more than friends in my opinion." he said calmly with a smile as he looked down.

She shook his head. "You're just like the rest of them. Probably never had any real friends in your life, have you? Well I got news for you." she said sitting up and looking at him evenly. "Ty is a good Assassin. And a good friend. I don't want you or anyone else for that matter thinking that he would ever undermine his job. His mind is more complex than yours will ever be." she said as she walked away.

Ty smiled wickedly as Mahony ran circles around him but yet he didn't move

'Come on Ty do something!!,' exclamied Sage as they watched on wondering what the hell he was doing just standing there

'Well since you won't attack me..' smiled Mahony, '..Then I'll go first,'

She threw a left hook and Ty dodged it as she then came around with a round house kick and then a forward kick but Ty dodged them both, she then came around with another round house but Ty the stopped her leg, she then grabbed a laser but before she could use it Ty tripped her to the ground, She suddenly back handed him across the mouth, leaving a red mark but it didn't phase him as he stood back and waited for her next attack,

'Good...lets see how you do against this...' she said as she threw a smoke bomb down and they were engulfed in smoke

Ty stopped moving abd he could hear her footsteps thuding against the roof suddenly he pulled his gun, she felt the cold barrel against her fore head but then Ty felt a sharp tip of a dagger against his chest

The smoke cleared and Ty stood there with a smile on his face, 'Found you,'

'and I found you..' smiled Mahony suddenly Ty advanced towards her and the dagger dug into his chest drawing blood, Mahony then stepped back as she frowned at him, his face didn't show any signs of pain as he kept advancing forward, she quickly withdrew her sword and knocked his gun out of his hand and they began fighting, she lunged at him with a dagger and he grabbed her by the wrist and took the dagger off her spun her around to where she stood with her back against his chest and her dagger now in his hands and pressed against her neck

'Nice move..' she whispered as she then elbowed him in the gut which made him stagger backwards and she came back with a round house kick and got him in the cheek and made him flip in the air and land in the press up position with his face only inches away from the tin, he looked up at her with a demonic smile as she ran towards him, he then flipped around and tripped her up and she hit the tin roof hard, but it didn't phase her as they both jumped to their feet, Ty raised an eyebrow slightly as she ran at him in an attempt to knock him down for good, but he kept dodging every punch and kick she threw at him and he then grabbed her leg as she threw another kick and then kicked her in the knee and then kocked her to the ground, she then suddenlt flipped him up as she hit the ground and she jumped on top of him and held the dagger to his throat clinching her teeth against the pain in her knee,

'Give up..' she questioned, he smiled and then flipped her over his head not realizing how close they were to the edge, at that moment Mahony went over the side with Ty still holding on to her, he tried to roll over but only got as far as his side and Mahony Hit against the side of the building, Ty tried grabbing something but with the force of the toss they suddenly both went over the side and fell through the roof of a shed, Mahony hit a bed which broke under her and Ty landed on top of her but bounced off and hit the floor hard, Dust then engulfed them and they both choaked from the fall and the dust

Ty rolled over, his side was slightly grazed from the tin on the roof as he slowly got up

Mahony rolled over to look at him, Both of them breathed heavily

'Well...I can honestly...say..that...that fight's..over..' she coughed, Ty looked at her trying to catch his breath back from getting the wind knocked out of him twice, when he landed on Mahony and then when he hit the floor, he ended out on all fours coughing

'I would...have to...agree,' spoke Ty as he shook the dust off him, he then stood up and Mahony saw the blood stained shirt

'Hey how'd you get that?' she questioned sitting up

'The roof,' he replied in his usual short answers, 'It's nothing serious,'

Ty then helped her off the broken bed and gave her a slight smile and he walked out...he still couldn't get over what Senkai had said to him...

Sage went over to Ty. She looked at his blood stained shirt and smiled. ?Did she get one up on you Ty??

?Oh shut up.? He said as he leaned against the fence. Sage sat down next to the tree. She knew something was bothering him. She knew it also had something to do with Senkai?s comment to him.

[i]Damn him![/i] she thought to herself again. [i]Why did he have to make this so uncomfortable?[/i]

She looked over at Ty and decided against bringing up the subject. She knew something much deeper was going on with him. And she didn?t want to make him feel anything different toward her. She just sat there and laughed a little.

?What?? he said looking down at her.

?Nothing, I just feel that you of all people should have been ready for that knife.? She smiled.

?Well I?m sure you would have fallen for the same thing.? He said staring at the wall as Mahony finished the rest of the training exercise.

?Oh really? You?re so sure of that?? but before she could move he had a gun to her head.

?Most definitely.? He smiled.

[Akieen Cloud]

It was well past pitch black by the time Mayhony had everyone done and finished with.
"Right, now you all can take a shower and do what you please."
She walked away and into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. She was pouring the black liquid when she felt a body behind her.
"Mayhony..."
She turned to see Syn staring at her, she blushed bright and cleared her throat.
"Yes Syn?"
"Today...on the roof, why did you do that? What did you mean?"
"Syn..."
She took a long gulp of the black coffee and sighed, she grabbed his hand and led him into the back. Stopping she turned and faced him.
"What I did, what I said...I regret nothing of it."
'Was it just training?"
Mayhony looked away and then back at him.
"Syn...your making this harder than I wnat it to be."
"I just want an answer."
Mayhony took a deep breathe and stepped forward pressing her lips to his firmly, waiting for him to throw her off or reject her. When he didn't she pulled away and mumbled an apology to him.
"Syn...I'm sorry...I shouldn't have done that..."

"No, it's alright. You don't need to apologize for anything. I should apologize for making this hard on you. It's just that, I'm not used to this kinda thing."

"Used to what?"

Syn looked into her lovely blue eyes. "I'm not used to...being loved."

"What? What makes you think I'm in love with you?" Mahony turned away blushing.

"Well, I seriously doubt you'd kiss anyone like that just because. And, well, the way you look at me...gah, I'm not making any sense. I guess what I'm really trying to say is..." Syn turned Mahony's face back towards his and looked into her eyes. He brought his lips to hers in a passoinate kiss that neither of them wanted end. Mahony broke the kiss, "Why did you do that?" She asked.

"You regreted nothing from earlier, and just a moment ago you kissed me again. I...I..." Syn struggled for words.

"I, what?"

"I love you."

[Akieen Cloud]

Mayhony blinked and blushed brightly. SHe dropped the coffee mug and threw her arms around his neck hugging him.
"You know, I've loved you for a long time Syn..."
"What do you mean?"
"You think I hired you because? I knew all of you before you entered the pub that night, all but Senkai...I had been tailing you all from the begining. sage was a surprise, I'll grant that. But I've seen you work and I've seen what you can do. From the first hiest I watched you pull, I knew that I had to meet you. I had fallen for you than and there. I never had the hope of you feelng the same for me, ever..."
Syn snaked his arms around her as well and held her close inhaling her scent.
"Why didn't you tell me this?"
"Like you would belive me?"
"I do don't I?"
Mayhony looked up and matched his lips with her's kising him lightly.
"Good point."
Applase from the other room brought her attentio to the door way as the others clapped for them. Mayhony blushed and bowed dramaticly, turning she grabbed Syn's hand and led him to her room. Whisteles followed them down the stairs and into the room. Once there Syn smiled.
"What are we doing?"
"I'm fixing to show you the main route into the Zeal room."

"Darn, here I was hoping for something else." Syn said jokingly.

"Watch it, I'll still kick your ass for stuff like that."

"Kidding, only kidding."

"Anyway...back to the reason you're here." Mahony reached into her nightstand and grabbed a rolled-up blueprint. After reviewing the print multiple times, and repeated beatings for idiocy, Mahony put the layout back in her nightstand.

"God, it seems simple enough but thats gotta be more difficult than...nevermind."

"More difficult than [i]what[/i]?"

"I refuse to finish that last though on grounds of imminent beating."

"You're going to get a worse one if you don't tell me."

Syn gulped. "More difficult than giving a girl an orgasm." Syn braced himself for Mahony's fury, but she just started laughing.

"Do you ever think with the big head?" Mahony joked.

"Only when necessary." Syn added. "You know, I think that was the first time I've really ever heard you laugh like that."

"It's not every day YOU come up with something funny for a change." Mahony lied down on her bed.

"Mind if I join you?"

"Just don't try anything...yet."

"Please, the last thing I want to do is take this too fast." Syn said as he lied down next to her.

"You know, I just had a somewhat nasty though."

"Oh, really? Now who's thinking with their nether regions?"

"It's nothing like [i]that[/i], I was thinking maybe we could put on a little 'performance' for the people upstairs."

"Really? You mean by letting their ears deceive them, correct?" Syn asked with a wink.

Sage took her shower and sat on her bed. She got a room to herself fortunately... She didn?t feel like waking up smelling things a girl shouldn?t have to smell. She took out her gun and started polishing it. When she realized what she was doing, she quickly dropped it and stood up. ?Damn, I?m no perfectionist!!? she said. She looked at herself in the mirror and felt like shooting something. She got dressed and went outside. She could never sleep soundly in silence. She brought her silencer and began shooting targets on her practice ring.

She had used a ton of her bullets and decided to give it a rest. She leaned back against the wall, still holding her gun as she closed her eyes. She knew she was in some major trouble. She didn?t let on to Ty what was really going on. She was using this as a cover up. She needed to go under the radar again. Gervine?s son wanted blood. And he had the means to get it.

She opened one eye and spotted Ty coming out as well. ?Can?t sleep?? she said aloud.

?Not with them in there. Their making a ton of noise. Idiots clapping and all? He said as he laid against the tree directly across from her and stared off into the distance.

?Ty, am I going to have to beat it out of you??

?Beat what??

?Something?s on your mind, like that?s really any news. But you seem bugged for some reason.?

He looked away and just kept staring.

?Is it about what Senkai said??

He looked down. He knew she had heard about it somehow. ?Yeah. It?s not so much what he said that bothers me.?

?You shouldn?t let what he said get to you. You?re mind is never off the job. And I don?t think you?re the kind of person to let any type of distraction get in the way of you finishing a job.? She avoided the second part of Senkai?s comments. She didn?t even want to go there.

?I don?t get why he even says things like that.?

?Oh he was probably trying to catch you off guard. Guys are all competitors.?

?Just guys?? he said looking up at her.

?Oh shut up Ty. I don?t have to be competitive when I?m around you, we both know I?m a lot better than you are.?

Ty couldn?t help but smile. ?You?re such a hypocrite.?

?I?m a hypocrite with a gun Ty. Don?t make me mad.? She said leaning back again and smiled.

[Drizzt Do'urden]

Senkai laid awake in bed thinking when suddenly he heard noises from above. Moans of pleasure coming from Mayhony's room...but something was amiss. [I]hehe clever guys...[/I] He thought to himself. [I]I'm deffinateally not in the mood for this tonight[/I]. He arrose from bed, lifted his window softly, and lept from the third story window of his room. Landing without a sound he softly pulled on the string he had attached to his wrist, slowly closing his window in which it was attached too.

The moonlight had always comforted him...ever since his first walk with her. "Why did you have to betray me..." He began takling to himself.

"You know the first step to insanity is talking to yourself Senkai" A females voice suddenly sounded behind him.

Eyes wide with fright Senkai turned around, "what are you doing here...how did you find me" He stuttered, the fear obvious in his voice.
"Relax, its about your new friends...I don't like them"
"They're not my friends, they're just my new band" He replied a vote of confidence returning in his voice.
"Either way I don't like them, they're attempting a shot at the zeal crystal, and you know thats my crystal" She hissed to him
"Well, I apologize Meg...you're not getting close to my friends, or the crystal." The use of friends almost made him stutter again.
"I'm sorry...I was going to ask you to join me but I guess I'm going to have to kill you." Meg hissed as she lunged at him, blades drawn.
"Again..last time you weren't real affective" Senkai laughed drawing his blades just in time to parry her attack.
The two combatants rolled in a ball of Thrust, slashes, dodges and parrys. Any onlooker would surley be awestruck by the battle. Finally Meg dug her blade deap into Senkai's chest, dropping the assasin to his knees...blood oozing from his chest. "This time you won't be coming back" Meg laughed as she brought her blades up for the kill. Senkai's eyes grew wide with fright...and then he laughed as he brought a knife out sticking it in Megs throat before she could drop the final blow. "Wha!?" her eyes said as she began to collapse, gasping for air.

"I've learned a few tricks Meg" Senkai grinned as he slowly rose to his feet, blood still oozing from his chest. "And I told you, you won't get anywhere close to my friends" He took his knife from her throat just as the female assassin breathed in her last breath...

He somehow made it to his room, and patched his self up just as the lose of blood caused him to collapse, the two lovers were still upstairs putting on their show...but by now, the need to rest had taken over his body, and he could not distinguish if the noises he heard were indeed the noises of two joksters, or two lovers....he passed out, wondering how he was going to hide this from Mayhony's sharp eyes.

Ty lent against the tree and looked at Sage

'What?' she questioned

'Nothing,' he replied with a deep tone

'Ty don't start that again!,' snapped Sage as she lent forward with the gun aimed at his head

Ty looked at her and then lent back and smiled up at the sky

She watched him and the way he was when it was night time..he was at peace..as always

'I love the night...the dark,' he whispered, she remembered that he always said that

'Ty...if you don't mind me asking...have you actually been in love with anything else...or anyone else apart from the night and darkness?' questioned Sage as she lent on the tree

Ty sat up on his elbows and he looked at her in confusion, 'What else is there to love?...well I guess I love my guns...'

Sage looked at him with a raised eyebrow, 'Your guns!...only you would,' laughed Sage

'Well what are you talking about?' he questioned looking annoyed

Sage looked at him, there sat the guy she had known for years, the guy who knew nothing on love...only that of the night and darkness...the guy who not once let his heart be loved or become in love..his job was all he thought of and nothing else...he was a wild card..she had seen many women be attracted to him..even fall deeply in love...but he missed it all...love could be right infront of him smacking him in the face..and he wouldn't even see it, Sage began to laugh

'What's so funny?' he growled

'You,' she spoke still laughing

'What about me?' questioned Ty looking even more confused as he sat up

'You just amaze me..you really do,' she smiled

Ty frowned at her and flopped back down, 'I love the night,' he whispered

Sage smiled, and she watched him just lay there, 'Oneday when you least expect it...someone will snatch up that wild heart of yours Ty and then you'll realise that love doesn't revolve around the night, darkness and your gun...someone will,' Sage whispered to herself

She knew he most likely didn?t hear her. She didn?t really want a response. But a part of her wished he had. She wouldn?t know what to say if he asked her about what she said? but to know he was thinking about it, would make everything a lot easier for her to deal with. Life was getting too complicated for her to handle anymore.

She sat back and thought about everything they had gone through as children, and then young adults. None of it was normal. If she was a little girl looking into the future, she would never recognize the woman she became.

She looked over at Ty and he was just looking at her, ?What is it??

?Now something?s bothering you.? He said.

?No, not bothering me. I was just remembering the good old days when things were? less complicated.? She said as she looked down. She put her gun in her holster and laid there next to him. Just thinking?

He looked at her and knew it was more than that. But he decided against asking her anymore. Sometimes, he thought it was harder to get a straight answer out of her, than it was for her to get one out of him.

She closed her eyes for a while. She just thought about her life. Where it was, where it was headed. She didn?t regret any of the decisions she had made in the past. But she wondered what really was in her future. She wanted to believe it involved something that would make her life better. But she smiled. She knew being an Assassin meant that she didn?t long for the ?joys? in life, her job was her life. She had risked her life on countless missions. And she had grown accustomed to the rush it gave her. She couldn?t imagine her life without a gun to her side anymore. She had become an Assassin. And to wish things were different was foolish on her part. She knew this. But it didn?t make her think any differently.

?What about you?? he said softly.

?What??

?Have you ever loved anything? Besides your job?? he said.

She smiled again as she opened her eyes and looked at the night sky. It was beautiful.

?No, I can?t say I have. My job is my life. Just as the job is your life.? She said. She decided to leave it at that. She knew he was trying to figure out what was on her mind. But she wasn?t going to tell him so easily.

?I can?t say I believe you, but I?m sure you wouldn?t tell me if I asked again.? He said as he looked at her.

She laughed a little. ?Maybe some other time, Ty. Maybe some other time.? She closed her eyes again and smiled. She was allowed some secrets, just as he was allowed his secrets.

They heard a noise from the eastern part of the training grounds. They got up quickly and looked around. Sage knew it was probably nothing serious. She turned around and nearly jumped when she turned right into Ty's arms. She stopped as she looked up at him, and just stared into his eyes. She was in a daze, she didn't want to move. She just looked at him as if his eyes were keeping her from moving.

He held her in his arms, and something stirred. He felt an immense flow of embarrassment rise within him. The feeling bit his soul like a ravenous wind and he looked at her, and it felt as if his body temperature had risen 20 degrees. He could feel his heart beating with each second that went by, with the intensity of each pulse in his hands. He looked at her and stared at her as if she was the only person in the world.

She began shaking as she stepped back. She looked at him, and realized what the pit in her stomach was all of this time. But she wouldn't admit it to herself though.

He looked at her partly confused, and partly wanting to hold her again for some reason. It was a rush he had never felt before. He was about to say something when he heard something again. He looked to the side and heard the noise and his heart nearly stopped. He jumped forward grabbing Sage and pulling her to the floor as shots from a machine gun rang through the area. He looked up and pushed her farther into the ground. "Don't move!" he said as he ran forward to find their attacker.

She looked up and saw Ty running into the forest. "Hell No!" she said as she got up and ran after him.

When she got into the forest she moved quietly. She saw Ty in the middle standing still. He looked often to the side where she was and she could tell he knew where she was. Their attacker jumped out and attacked Ty. Sage examined the assailant and quickly identified him to be one of Gervine's men. She got up and jumped directly in the middle of both of them. Ty frantically moved to help Sage, but Sage drop kicked the man to the ground where he pulled out a knife and stabbed her. Ty pulled out his gun and shot at the man that laid there.

Sage bent down and looked for ID or even a clue as to what he was trying to do. She didn't want Ty to find out about Gervine's order.

He looked at her and saw the blood that poured from her stomach. "Damn it all Sage, what in the HELL did you do that for?"

"I felt like getting stabbed, Ty." she said sarcastically. She pulled out nothing. The assassin had nothing on him. She got up ignoring the pain she felt. She looked at Ty and quickly looked away. She picked up her gun and walked past him.

"What's going on, Sage?" he said sounding annoyed.

"I don't know, how about you tell me." she said still walking.

He just looked at her and shook his head as he followed her out. "What is that suppose to mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean."

"I don't know who that man was, Sage."

"I'm not even talking about that, Ty. I'm talking about what happened before."

He stopped and pulled her back. "What's wrong, Sage?" he said looking at her.

She just looked up at him and shook her head. "Nothing is wrong, Ty. I'm just not going to allow myself to get hurt."

"What are you talking about??"

"Nothing, Ty. I just need some time alone." she walked away from him and she began to feel dizzy from the loss of blood. But she kept walking. She wasn't going to ruin their relationship. They had a good friendship. She wouldn't allow her personal feelings to get in the way of the mission. She wouldn't allow herself to care for someone who would break her heart in the end, just like all the other broken hearts out there.


She slammed her door and just stood there against it. She looked at her gun and walked over to her dresser. She threw it down and leaned over her dresser. Blood dropped onto the top of it. She didn't even feel the knife wound anymore. She was hurting more from the inside then from the outside. She knew the wound wasn't damaging. She laid on her bed and decided to leave the wound alone. She didn't feel like cleaning up the stains. She stared at the ceiling and thought about what had happened. She heard some moans from upstairs and her stomach twisted. It made her feel sick. She closed her eyes and wished for a dreamless sleep.

Ty walked over to his room and stopped. He couldn't understand what was wrong with her. He looked over in the direction of her room and debated whether he should check on her or not. He wasn't sure of anything anymore. What was he feeling?

He turned the knob and saw Senkai sitting in the room. He was looking out the window and he had his eyes closed. Ty assumed he was sleeping or something as he closed the door.

"Almost didn't take my advice?" he said, eyes still closed.

Ty didn't even look at him. "I don't know what you're talking about." he said as he put his guns away.

"We both know what you're feeling. You want to be with her right now, don't you?"

"Leave it alone, Senkai."

"I'll leave it alone. As long as you remember that love only brings trouble. Especially, when a mission is at hand. And I'll be damned if I let you and your foolish love get between me and the Zeal Crystal."

Ty ignored him and took his shower. When he got out he saw Senkai was asleep. He didn't care what Senkai told him. He was worried. There was nothing wrong with being worried.

"Sorry Senkai. I'll be damned before I let you try to control my life." he said as he left. He went over to Sage's room and knocked quietly. When no one answered, he went inside and saw her sleeping in a pool of blood. His heart went into his throat as he rushed over to her. She was shaking and she was completely white.

"DAMN!!" he said aloud as he picked her up. She wasn't responding, but she was breathing fine. He knew she would be alright. He cleaned her wounds as she lay in his arms. He stopped every once in a while. He had that feeling of embarrassment where his emotions rose. But he knew he wasn't embarrassed. He was confused. He looked at her, and she looked so calm and peaceful. Something he had seen before. But not when she held a gun.

Before she had become an assassin. Before she followed the path he had chosen for himself.

She seemed gentle, and fragile at the same time. As if she would break if he held her too tight. Her facial expressions weren't as hard. She was.. beautiful. She stirred in his arms but didn't wake up. He finished bandaging her and laid her back down on a clean set of sheets he had taken from his bed. He placed her on them and sat there just looking at her. He didn't want to forget this image. He wanted to keep it with him. It brought him comfort he had never imagined possible. Under all of that hardness inside of her, she was still the girl he had grown up with. Before tragedy had struck both their families.

He looked on as the same emotions stirred inside him. He couldn't understand where the knots were coming from that seemed to be controlling him. He brushed her hair from her face and pulled the blanket over her. As he stood up, something made him want to do something he had never even thought of before. He knelt down by her side and kissed her softly on the lips. He looked at her and she stirred once more, but again, did not wake. He stood up and left her room. He took the sheets and threw them away. No one needed to know. He walked over to his room and laid on his stripped bed. He couldn't get her out of his head as he closed his eyes. The feelings and emotions made his body feel warm despite the lack of any blankets. It was a wonder he had fallen asleep at all.


Sage woke up that morning feeling stiff. She turned over and noticed the bandages on her body. She buttoned her shirt again and just stared at the mirror. She looked at the bed and noticed how perfectly each corner was folded down. She smiled and laughed a little. She knew he had come in here to check on her. She went over to the bed and stared down at it. She shook her head and pulled a corner out so it looked uneven. She smiled. "Much better." she said to herself. She got dressed again and walked out of her room where he was waiting outside. He looked at her as he leaned against the wall with his arms folded across his chest. She just looked at him for the longest time. Finally she smiled at him and he smiled as well. He nodded and walked away. She knew something had changed. Something she wasn't even sure of, but she knew it was a good thing. She placed her gun in its holster and followed Ty.

Ty walked out into the garden part...his mind had never been so confused...he hated being confused with himself and he needed to supress everything, he lent against a tree...why did he kiss her...he frowned

'Stupid idiot,' he whispered to himself, he closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them..all feelings had been supressed

'What are you doing?' questioned Sage as she noticed a sudden change in his eyes

'Nothing,' he replied in an even tone as he looked at her, she frowned

'Don't bull shit me,' she snapped

Ty just looked at her...and then walked away

'Ty! don't you dare walk away from me like that!,' she growled as she drew her gun, 'You know I hate it when you do that!,'

'Save it for someone who does care!...because I don't,' he replied in a sure tone

Sage lowered her gun...she didn't know what to make of Ty's retaliation against her...she was left dumb founded by his sudden change of personality...she didn't know what the hell made him do that and it confused her

Ty walked over to the other side of the clearing and stood their

'I can't let my feelings get in the way of my job..and I wont,' he whispered clenching his fist at that moment...but he couldn't help but think of Sage, 'Dammit what the hell is wrong with me!!,'

At that moment he heard soft footsteps walk up behind him, he spun around to find Sage standing there with a look of anger in her eyes, but his expressionless face didn't phase

'What is your problem now!!,' she snapped, 'What did I do?'

'Nothing...just stop it!!!,' snapped ty as he tried to walk away again but was stopped by Sages hand when she grabbed his, Ty spun around and ripped his hand out of hers, she then tried to slap him across the face but he stopped her hand, pulling away from him she then tried to kick him...but he stopped that too, he held her leg and flipped her up..but he didn't let her fall on the ground

Sage kept trying to punch him..but it was no good, Ty grabbed both of her hands and held them behind her back as he drew her closer so that her chest was pressed hard against his and at that moment before she could say anything Ty kissed her on the mouth passionately and she returned his kiss, her heart raced as did his and then he quickly pulled away and looked at her

'That is what my god damn problem is..it always has been!,' he snapped, 'Now you figure it out because I can't...I never could!'

With that Ty walked away and back into the house leaving her lost for words

He ended out in his room pacing the floor nervously, he walked over to the wall and banged his fist against the wall..it was like some kind of addiction...but he had no clue of what it was, he then flopped back on his bed and stared up at the ceiling...

'Damn my pathetic life..,' he whispered as he closed his eyes and waited for Mahony to call them

She still stood there. She was trying to take it all in. She was trying to understand what was happening. She knew she had feelings for him? but she refused to believe it. Because she knew how he felt about love. About life? she looked down and knelt to her knees as she sat there. She couldn?t take it? she knew he was confused? but how could she help him when she isn?t even sure about his feelings? How do you help someone feel, when you don?t know what they are feeling?

She looked up and leaned backwards against the tree. She knew he felt something. He kissed her? that meant something? right? She looked around and closed her eyes as the tears fell. She needed time to think. She came back to stay low and unseen. But what happened was something she didn?t expect to happen in a million years. She had never expected to fall in love.

She shook her head. She wasn?t in love. She couldn?t be. It wasn?t right. She had other things to deal with. She didn?t have time for love.

But she did love him. She had loved him for some time. But she never thought twice about it. Because he was unreceptive toward love.

Until now?

She still didn?t understand where it was all coming from. She remembered the night before. She knew something happened for the both of them then. But she could even tell then that he didn?t quite understand what he was feeling. But why now? She needed answers. And she needed them fast. Her mind was spinning, and she knew if they were going to ever get back on the mission, they would have to figure this out quickly so it wouldn?t affect their concentration. She got up and looked at the clock. It was half past 6. They were all due up any minute now. She walked back quickly to Ty?s room passing Senkai in the hall. He looked at her and stopped. He shook his head and continued on.

She looked at him and decided not to beat his face in. She didn?t have much time. She didn?t even knock. She opened the door and she saw him just sitting on his bed looking out the window. She walked in and just looked at him. He wasn?t looking at her. She knew he was trying to get his mind off of her. She knew something was bothering him. She sat next to him and he looked down. She wasn?t sure if a bunch of questions now would be appropriate. She knew he was just as confused as she was. If not even more confused.

She looked at him and gently put her hand over his. He looked up at her and she just looked at him. There was nothing else she felt she could do. ?Ty, I?m your friend first and foremost. Allow me to help you through these feelings.? She said looking at him.

He shuddered a little as he looked away. Sage looked down and squeezed his hand and he looked back at her.

?Ty, let me help you figure out what you?re feeling. I know how I?m feeling?? she said quietly.

?What are you feeling?? he asked no louder than a whisper.

She looked at him and kissed him gently. ?I know how I?ve felt about you for some time. And I?m finally ready to take the risk, Ty. I want to help you figure your feelings out.?

?But why? Why would you help me?? he asked.

?Because I love you?? she said softly. ?And when you?re in love, you can?t help but want to care for the person you love.?

IC: Hyo had just returned after visiting his family to drop off the money he had made from his legit jobs. He walked in the front door quietly. Mahony stopped him in his path. "And where have you been all of this time Hyo? I want an answer, straight forward. I'm your employer and I expect you to actually be here if you plan on working for me." She said somewhat irritated.

Hyo kept quiet for a while and had been avoiding eye contact with Mahony. He removed his mask from his face. He looked up at her, "I was visiting my family...I had to get some money to them..." Hyo paused. "Uh....and...uh..." he started.

"And what Hyo? I can understand you taking care of family affairs...but if you were doing something else..." Mahony interrupted.

"I was just going to say...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left without your consent." He said bowing apolgetically.

Mayhony smiled warmly at him.
"It's alright Hyo. You don't have to be sorry. taking care of your family is important."
She walked around the house noticing that everyone was still awake. She walked back to her room where Syn was asleep on her bed and kicked him gently to wake him.
"Mmmm What?"
"Lets go."
She grabbed the parchment and walked to the living room.
"In here eveyone."
She set the paper on the table and sighed.
"This is the only route to the Crystal that isn;t a death trap. Also, this route has the most computer activated security, I fuger you can handle that Ty."
He nodded and she continued.
"The lasers DO cut you so I wouldn't touch them, I'll be giving you lessons on how to dogde them tomarrow. We'll disscuss this everynight so don't wonder to far."
She looked at Hyo who nodded.

"Well lookie here, the prodigal son returns. How the hell you been, Hyo?" Syn asked.

"Alright. I guess. Had to make sure that the money from my legal jobs made it home ok. Tryin' to help the family, ya know?"

"Wish I did, lost my parents when I was just a teenager."

"Oh...uh...sorry for bringing it up."

"Hey, don't worry about it. Back in my hometown, you were executed for damn near anything. I was the lucky one though, I was only exiled."

"The hell're you from? What happened?"

"A border city called Lakfakalle. Pops was arrested and executed for Armed Robbery, and mom for failing to pay taxes on time."

"How'd you get by with exile?"

"Well, you see the 'dictator' had a daughter, and well the daughter and I were caught...uh...[i]together[/i]. Ok, it was more like third base, but I was already halfway down the baseline. Normally, I would have been shot then and there, but since she pleaded her father to let me go, I was only exiled permanently."

"I see."

"Hey, it's not like you knew anything about it. Besides, that's all in the past now. Gotta move on, right? See ya." Syn left where Hyo was and went to find Mahony.

Sitting there in the living room was harder than Senkai thought it would be. Hiding the pain was no easy task. Meg had missed his heart by centimeters. And he wasn't totally sure he was going to survive the night. [I]Damn, if she knows about this raid then who else knows....and what if he finds out. No there would be no way he'd send her after me, it had to have only been her.[/I]

"Senkai are you getting this?" Mayhony asked, breaking into his thoughts. "I'm doing this to save your ass, and make sure I get my crystal without losing any of you." She was obviously upset, but he couldn't even begin to concentrate. Meg had been his one time ally, one time friend.

"I apologize Mayhony, but I must tell all of you something..." He paused, not sure if he wanted to even try and explain what had happened.

"Last night, I was paid a visit by an old friend", He began as he unbuttoned his shirt exposing hisdressed wound. "It really wasn't a pleasant one" He chuckled as he went on. "Her name was Meg, she was a member of my last band, the Hekuyotai. And quite possibly one of the best assassins I have ever worked with. Somehow she has caught word of our quest for the Zeal Crystal, and I believe she acted alone. But I cannot be sure of it, I just wanted to bring it to everyones attention, and that we should keep our guard up a little more than normal." He finished rising up.

"It's nice having you back Hyo, but I'm going to take my leave now. I have a few Ideas for those lasers, a few toys I've picked up on my travels may come in handy, but we'll save those for later. Good night everybody" He said as he began up the stairs.

"Hold on Senkai" Syn called

"If you're going to ask if Meg and I ever had sex, or fooled around I'll slit your throat as you sleep tonight" Senkai's voice boomed back, a bit of seriousness in it, but mostly just being funny.

"Oh never mind then....OUCH" Syn said as Mayhony slapt him in the back of the head.

"Thanks Mayhony" Senkai called back just as his door shut..

Sage couldn't sleep. She just sat there on her bed looking at her gun. She knew she was straight forward... maybe a little too forward. [i]Damn[/i] she thought. [i]Why am I always making things uncomfortable for him??[/i]

She was about to walk out when she saw Senkai goinig into his room. He looked back at her and laughed.

"Damn it, what's so funny?" she said folding her arms.

"Nothing, I just wonder when you are going to lay your traps on him, that's all."

"What are you implying, Senkai? I'm not in the mood for head games."

"Well that's interesting, given that you're playing a pretty good game against Ty."

"Senkai, I don't care if you doubt me till the day I die. I can give a crap. But as far as any of this being your business, then I'm afraid you're barking up the wrong tree. Because this is between Ty and me."

"Well, since we're all working together to get to the Zeal Crystal, I really don't see how this is not my business. You're making him distracted, and you're going to cause him to lose his focus."

Suddenly, Ty came in from the other side of the hall as he heard the last bit of their conversation.

"We're all in a load of trouble Senkai. We're going to try to pull off the biggest raid in the world. I suggest you concentrate on your own problems then to focus on everyone elses." she said. She walked out and to her room.

Senkai looked at Ty and Ty looked furious. Senkai stared at him evenly. "You know, you just don't take a hint do you? She's not to be trusted. If you trust her too much, you're going to let your guard down, and she may steal your cut of the Zeal Crystal. Ever thought that could be her plan?" he said looking at Ty.

Ty's eyes flickered red as he stared at Senkai. "You don't even KNOW her." he said looking at him angrily.

Senkai laughed, "And what, you do? When was the last time you saw her, Ty?"

"I don't have to hear this from you." he said walking away.

"Listen, can you ask yourself this Ty? If there was no Zeal Crystal, would she even be here for you? Why did she come back? For a big break on an expensive prize? Or to find the lost love of her life? She's only after the crystal, Ty. Get that through your head. Don't fall for her." he said.

Ty stared at him in disbelief. "And so I should trust you and everyone else, right? Because you're NOT here for the crystal?? Is that it Senkai???"

Senkai laughed and walked out. "Think with your head, Ty. That's all I'm saying."

Ty stared in the direction he had gone in, he was furious. He was confused again... what if what he said had a ring of truth? She didn't come back for him, that was for sure. He slammed the wall again. Why did Senkai have to cast doubts in his mind??

He looked over to where Sage was and walked over there. He stopped when he saw the door had been open this whole time. She had heard every single word. He looked in and saw her crying.

He walked in and just looked at her.

"Do you believe him?" she said quietly looking up at him.

He just looked. He was confused. "I don't know..." he said even quieter.

She stood up and walked over to him. She took her gun from her holster and gave it to him.

He looked at her in disbelief. "What are you doing?" he asked looking at her. An assassin never parted with their gun.

"Ty, if you think I'm a threat to the mission, or to you, eliminate me." she said looking at him

He stared at her. "No, Sage. I won't kill you."

"You can't think I'm dangerous and keep me around, Ty. It's not in your nature." she said as the tears formed in her eyes.

"I don't think you're dangerous." he said raising his voice a little.

"Really? Well Senkai believes I am. Do you believe him, Ty?"

He looked into her eyes and held her gun. "I'm the one who is endangering the mission, Sage. I don't think I'll be able to carry out what I came here to do."

"And I'm the problem, right?" she said.

"You're not a problem, Sage. Under any other circumstances, this would probably work out... what we have... I just don't know anymore."

"Ty, are you going to ignore us then?" she said folding her arms as she looked at him.

He gave her her gun and was about to walk away. She grabbed his arm and pulled him back as she kissed him feircely. He took it in and brought her closer to him. He couldn't contain himself anymore. It was too hard to supress feelings like these. And he didn't want to.

She broke away and looked at him. Her gaze was serious, "Ty, you can forget all you want, but you know it will always be there. You're an Assassin, and you've been trained to deal with things head on. When have you ever had to hide behind anything?"

Ty looked at Sage with a deep frown

'I don't hide behind anything,' he spoke

'Then why are you hiding your feelings?' questioned Sage

'One reason..you don't trust me enough to tell me why you actually came here,' said Ty raising an eyebrow, 'which stands to reason..you never came back for me...but in saying that...I trust you enough to not turn on me,'

Ty looked at her and then walked away and down the hall, he then found Mahony sitting in the kitchen

'I'm going back to my place...i'm going to need a few things for this raid,' spoke Ty as he walked out the door, Mahony then jumped out of her chair and ran to the door

'Ty!..you'd better be back!!,' she exclaimed in fustration, she looked around and she couldn't see him...it was as if he had disappeared within a matter of seconds

'He's good at doing that,' spoke Sage behind Mahony

'What?' questioned Mahony

'Not even I can track him when he pulls that stunt...at night time its worse...he just disappears,' smiled Sage as she remembered what he could do

Ty arrived at his apartment, He grabbed everything he needed which was a decoder, scanner and miniture computer and then quickly left without a trace

He arrived back at the hideout

'I told you I wouldn't be long,' he said to Mahony who just looked at him as he went to his room and began sorting out his equipment for the raid

"You mean you left? Huh, never even noticed." Syn said as Ty returned with his equipment.

"Why am I not surprised? You probably wouldn't even notice if you head was on fire."

"Yeah, but that's besides the point. Or was there ever a point in the first place?"

Xero approaches from behind. "I see you're still as ignorant as ever."

"GAH! Don't sneak up on me like that! Wait a sec, Xero? Where'd you disappear to?"

"That's neither none of your concern nor any of your business."

"Somehow, I think it has something to do with...Runescape perhaps?" Syn joked.

"Shut up."

"Heh, heh. Just as I thought. Just remember Xero, you screw up and get killed during the heist you would come back. See ya." Syn left before Xero could retaliate.

Syn walked outside to take in some of the night air. He glanced up towards the sky, and saw a shooting star.

"Beautiful, isn't it? The night sky, I mean." Mahony asked.

"Yeah, it really is. I remember when I was younger, I'd just spend hours out here. Looking at the stars, watching for comets and meteors, waiting for lunar eclipses. Of course, after a whileI started thinking."

Mahony laughed, "You, thinking? Sorry, that just seems a bit oxymoronic."

"Hey, laugh if you want, but I'm actually fairly intelligent."

"So what would you think about?"

"Anything really; life, love, the future, whether I'd eventually meet someone, or if I'd spend my life alone."

"Sounds depressing."

"Yeah, when I'm alone and thinking the thoughts usually aren't that happy. But, they've become more optimistic of late."

"Really?"

"Well, yeah. I met you, didn't I?"

She kissed his him and walked into the house.Mayhony went to the kitchen and rested her elbow on the table, her chin in her palm.
"Sage get in here!"
Sage entered and sat down across from Mayhony.
"lemme butt into your life a moment," It was a statement, no room for argument." You've known Ty a long time Ne?"
Sage nodded.
"Thought so. You seem to have feelings for him, as I do Syn. But you must not let this occupy you Sage. It can't interfere with what we do. I take my job very seriously. I don't WANT to lose any of you, you all have become a tight knit group so far and are like a family to me. But I WON'T be responsible for you. You get caught or hurt or die, well that's not my problem."
Sage looked down thinking, She jumped slightly as Mayhony placed a gental hand on her shoulder.
"You ever think that he wouldn't be so confused, or things wouldn't be so complicated if you just told him how you feel?"
Sage blinked rpaidly.
"What would you know! Your no older than me!"
"No, I'm not, but I do know that unless you want to keep hurting him and making things complicated and hard for him than you need to tell him Sage, he's getting distracted and it's effecting his composure and skills. I need him at his best in 2 weeks when we go for this crystal. I can't have him thinking of other things, just like I can't have you thinking of other thing either. Got it?"
Sage nodded and Mayhony smiled.
"Good, now if you'll excuse me I have a trip into town to make. I'm leaving you anf Ty in charge, train the group till I get back and make sure that you ALL get the rest you need."
Sage nodded agian and left. Mayhony walked about the house till she had everything she needed, Syn met her at the door.
"Where are you going?"
"Out. I'll be back fon't worry. I'm going alone."
She kissed Syn and touched his cheek endearingly, almost sadly as she walked out.
--3 hours later--
Mayhony knocked on the door to a rundown cabin, it opened with a creak and a thining women wiht greying hair and bony frame came form within it. She was beautiful, even in this dying stage. Tears flowed to Mayhony's eyes, she was getting worse.
"Mother, have you been to town to get your medicine?"
"Mayhony, dear, you know I can't afford that anymore, with you brother and sister needing to eat as well."
Mayhony pulled the tears back and nodded, she reached into the pack on her back and pulled out a large sack of food.
"Mayhony, where did this come from?!"
"Don't wprry about that mother. I'll take care of you and my siblings. I'll be back after a while, I gotta run into town."
She turned and walked away into the twon where she promptly went to the medicine tore and bouoght her mother's medicine. She was walking back when a vice like rip caught her wrist.
"Well, well. Lookie here boys, We finally caught the greate Mayhony Tanabar alone."
Mayhony's face tunred to stone as anger filled her, she looked at the hand on her wirst adn han back at the man, no exspression on her face. Her violet eyes dark. She smiled, a maniac smile that only came with rage. She twisted her arm and felt her shoulder snap out of place but she was able to get free. She turned and popped it back moving her arm.
"Today is NOT a good day boys."
She saw them come at her in slow motion. She was not called the best upriseing theif for nothing. She turned as the first blade swiped past her and turned kicking him in the side breaking his ribs. She felt the bite of a blade as she was caught by surprise, snarling she turned and snapped the man's neck letting him crumple to the ground. She looked at he others as they aimed their guns at her.
"Go agead, like I care."
A vision of her younger siblings filler her eyes, Syn. She frowned and surged forward getting clipped on the shoulder and having a bullet rip throught her leg. She drew two hidden daggers and sliced ther throats. Turnign she left the canage in the street and walked back to her mother's cabin, she handed the medicine to her mother and hugged her siblings.
"Mayhony, dear are you alright?"
"I'm fine mother, just gat into a brawl in town is all."
"Thank you Mayhony, take good care."
"As always."
She tunred and walked away tears trailing down her face.
"I have to make the raid tomarrow, mother can't hold out much longer and with the sickness eatting her away, Mike and Sarah will be in an ophanage shortly..."
She lipmed now as blood dripped onto the path she took, she was the one everyone wanted to be rid of, the one everyone wanted to kill. SHe knew this and knew tha dangers of being alone. That's why she wasn't surprised when a local gang stopped her.
"Mayhony Tanabar."
Mayhony looked the youth up and down.
"Luke, looks like your moving up in the world."
The smartass remark earned her an arrow in her shoulder.
"DAMN! This is no way to greet your friends."
Luke approched her and gripped her chin, she would have killed him fro the movement had there not been over 40 guns aimed at her head. He leaned in and forcefably kissed her. He pulled back a snarl on his face.
"You've been kissing someone els dear, haven't you?"
Mayhony rolle dher eyes earning a slap. She looked up the road, she wasn't that far from home and she knew that the others would be out looking for her after a while, till than she could hold on to what little humanity she had left.
She felt Luke hands begin to roam and reacte than, twisting his hand from her body she frowned.
Think again street worm."
Luke raised his hand to slap her agin but stopped and smiled.
"I have a better plan. Tweech, Narch. Hold her."
Mayhony eyes turned round as four strong arms grabbed her, she was scared now, she twisted and turned but to no avail. She had been rapped before by Luke and like a disease he came back for more, but this was a new devlopment, something he's never done. She could handle being taken with out free will, but being helpless during it, scared her. She thrashed around till she felt his mouth on her's and gave up. She blocked out all knowlage of the world around her as he reached for her jeans. She wimpered softly and cried as thught raced through her mind. This time was diffrent, but why? She was used to it, she had never bee held or loved b a man...Syn. Fire flared through her eyes and she headbutted Luke as he came in for a kiss.
"Touch me again and I'll kill you."
She went limp in the men's grasp and slid way, tripping them she traightened her-self and walked away. She felt the hand and the dagger in her back as Luke attacked but ignored it and turned slitting his throat. She left with the dagger still embedded in her back, she threw open the door to find her band in the living quarters, all but Sage and Ty.

She looked around and spotted Syn, her eyes soften a great deal and as he stood she smiled warmly at them.
"We train and make the raid 2 days from now, we have no time..."
She fell passed out as the pain from her brawls finall set in, her face contorted with pain.



OCC: Alriht guys, heres the deal the raid will go on in two day as planed but things go terribly wrong, We all get caught, seems someone has tipped the security that we were making our move. And everyone is caught no one gets away.

Sage leaned on the doorframe with her arms folded. ?Avoiding things are we?? she said with a smile.

"You tell me." he said without looking up.

She just looked at him. What Mayhony said rang in her ears. She knew she needed to tell him, just so they could focus on the job without any questions in their minds.

"Ty, you're not going to make this easy, are you?"

He looked up at her and decided not to even respond. He went back to his sorting.

Sage knew she had to be honest with him, but she didn?t know exactly how to tell him. She wasn?t use to dumping her problems on others? but with Ty? she didn?t view it as ?dumping? problems. It was just being honest.

?Damn my foolish pride?? she said just looking down. Ty looked up at that moment.

?Ty, I know I haven?t been honest with you? but if you were in my position, I?m sure you would understand why I haven?t been honest??

Ty wasn?t sure where she was going with all this. He looked at her and just stood there. Not sure of what he should do or feel.

Senkai walked in at that moment, and Sage rolled her eyes. ?Ty, it looks as if this may have to wait? I?ll talk to you some other time. Maybe when you?re not so busy, or when there aren?t little ears searching for the bad news?? she walked out and Ty just looked at Senkai. Senkai smiled. ?You?ve got it bad, Ty. I wonder how long you?ll last.? He then went back to his much needed sleep.

Ty debated whether to find her and see if she would tell him what her real reasons were or not. But then he decided against it. If she was really in love with him like she claimed, she would have told him regardless of who came in the room. He went back to what he was doing and tried to forget about her for the moment. He would focus on the job. He was never confused as far as that was concerned. But forgetting her was proving more difficult then he had ever imagined.

When Sage got outside, she had sensed something was wrong? She made sure her gun was ready at her holster and went out toward the training grounds she had first met Mayhony on. She stood there for a while not saying anything. Someone was following her. She glanced to the side opposite of where she knew her opponent would strike, to look as if she wasn?t sure where he was coming from.

Within a split second, her assailant took the bait and ran at her from behind. She ducked and kicked the man coming toward her. He wasn't just any ordinary thug sent by Gervine's son, Nicholas. He was another trained assassin.

"Damn!" she said as she realized how tough this one would be. He shot at her and she jumped out of the way pulling her gun out. She shot back, but he was no longer there. She looked around and cursed under her breath as she stood there motionless. She needed to hear where he was. She spotted him from the corner of her eye, and within seconds she moved out of the way and shot several bullets in that direction. She saw traces of blood on the floor and was relieved she had been successful in injuring him. She looked over and studied the direction he went in. He had fled from the grounds.

She got up and ran at full speed in the direction the blood brought her. She ran past Mayhony's traps with an effortless ease. She pulled out her gun and began shooting when she saw him again. But he was too fast. She kept running. She knew he was hurt, and he was going to slow down soon. Suddenly, shots were heard and she quickly moved out of the way, not stopping her trail. A shot had hit her arm, but she didn't flinch. She wasn't going to let him get away and report her whereabouts.

She wanted answers, but they would have to come later. She looked up and saw a small ledge. She ran up the ledge and jumped directly in front of the assassin. He shot at her again, but her reflexes were much too quick then to be shot at point blank range. She dropped and rolled away and shot him in the back. He fell down dead and she searched for any sort of ID. She found a small recording in his front vest pocket. She turned it on and listened to the message. Nicholas was planning on killing her, and they weren?t allowed to rest until she was dead.

?DAMMIT!!? she said. She would have to take care of this the hard way then.

She hunched back, and took a breath before getting up. She wiped the blood that came from her arm. She went back to the training grounds and picked up her jacket she had left there. She put it on and hoped no one would question anything. She didn't want people knowing she was being followed. She would take care of who ever came her way.

She knew she would have to tell Ty. Whether he would keep it from Mayhony and the rest, she wasn?t sure. Most likely she would have to leave because of the danger she would be putting everyone in. [i]Damn it all... why am I hiding anyways??[/i] she thought.

She remembered what she had told Ty about hiding. Dammit, she was an Assassin too. She refused to be hunted. She was a hunter. Not the prey.

As she walked back, she saw Ty leaning on the fence again. She knew he heard the gun shots.

"Damn.." she said under her breath. She knew this wasn't going to be easy.

"Was that a practice round? Or is it what I think it is?"

"Ty, I would have told you before..."

"Sage, you should have told me before. Why didn't you?"

"Ty, it's not that I didn't trust you.. it was .. I don't know, Ty. All I do know is that I do trust you with my life. I guess it was my stupid pride that kept me from telling you when I got here."

"Sage, this isn't about who has the most points on their records anymore. If Nicholas was after you before... was that the man we saw in the forest??"

She nodded as she looked down. "I'm sorry."

"And you still didn't tell me?"

"Ty, at that point, I think you know as well as I do we were both confused."

"Not as much as I am now I'm afraid." he said angrily.

"Ty, stop it... you know I have feelings for you. I would never hurt you."

"And yet, you can't tell me when you need help?"

"Ty, it's not like that. I was going to tell you. But now, it looks like I have to tell everyone. I'm endangering the mission-"

"Damn right.. " he said looking down.

She stared at him. She knew he was just trying to supress his feelings again. She shook her head.She looked at him, and her face was hard. "Should have shot me when you had the chance, Ty." She walked back into the house.
