Ty slipped cautiously in and out of the shadows of the trees, the darkness he loved....the night was his

*Crack*........

A twig brakes in the distance, Ty follows stealthly following the sound, he drew his gun and scanned the darkness carefully, suddenly off to his right two more twigs brake, then the pounding of feet against the ground running away from him

Ty makes out into a run, his footsteps barely making a noise on the ground he then comes to a clearing where he finds he sees Sage

'Oh dammit,' he whispers at that moment...there he saw two figures one off in the distance the other standing behind her, his heart nearly stopped as he saw the glisten of a gun from the one in the distance, at that moment Ty made a run for it,

'Ty!,' exclaimed Sage as he ran at her and pushed her to the ground, Sage hit the ground hard kncoking her head on a rock and making her eye sight go blurry, she looked around and saw three shadows scuffling before her, she could hear heavy breathing and then suddenly a gun went off, she knew it was Ty's and then a man fell...but then two guns went off at the same time and two shadows fell

'TY!!!!,' she called out trying to find him in the darkness but couldn't...she couldn't even hear breathing, 'TY!!!!....TY!!!!!!,'

Suddenly a gental hand rested on her hand

'Shhh,' came a soft whisper from Ty who was now sitting infront of her and her eyes came right, she could just make out his face in the dark, and she hugged him....as her hand trailed down his back..she felt something warm and sticky, pulling away she looked at her hand

'Wait here don't move,' he whispered as he disappeared, he watched him disappear and she looked at her hand trying to see what the liquid substance was..then the smell of blood rose to her nostrils

'No...' she whispered

Ty appeared at her side a few seconds later

'Come on, there's noone around now...they're gone...but I picking there maybe more we'll have to keep our eyes open..who knows how many could have followed Hyo,' spoke Ty with a tinge of caution in the words

'Ty your...' started Sage but was cut off by Ty who grabbed her hand gently

'Come one lets go,' he spoke warmly to her

They quickly walked back to the hideout, Sage went in first and Ty followed quickly as he walked passed Mahony and the others and went to his room

He closed the door behind him and lent against it, he lifted his shirt and looked down, he had a bullet hole wound in his left side of his torso that had gone right through him, he needed to fix it quickly as blood had run down onto the floor

'damn the mess,' he growled softly as he pulled out a few things from his bag, he then sat down on his bed, he then pulled out a small burner and a huge knife, he then placed the knife on the burner to heat up the blade and took off his shirt, he sat there waiting and he grabbed the knife, he placed the knife pouch between his teeth cletched it hard and then pressed the red hot blade to the entrance of the wound....his body trembled from the pain, his free hand gripped the bed and his whole body tensed, a soft cry was muffled against the pouch in his mouth as the blade smouldered against his body and hissed, he pulled the blade away and he nearly collapsed but he knew he had to do this to do the raid in a couple of days.

'Now...the back,' he spoke softly as he breathed deeply

He then placed the blade back over the burner and waited, sweat beads formed on his brow and ran down his face and body
Suddenly a knock fell upon the door..........

She opened the door and stared at him ?Are you crazy?? she said as she rushed over to him.

He looked at her as she went over and took the knife from his hand. ?I can do it Sage??

?Shut up and focus on healing.? She said softly as she smiled. ?You can?t do everything on your own you know. You?ll have to have help sooner or later.? She said as she finished. He winced in pain, but it was fading away.

?Ty don?t ever do that again.?

?Do what?? he said as he put a clean shirt on.

?Leave me hanging like that. If you?re going to go into danger, it?s with me by your side.?

?Sage??

?I?m the reason they are here in the first place, and I?ll be damned before they take your life.? She said as tears formed in her eyes.

?I?m not going anywhere, Sage??

?Like hell you aren?t!!! I?m not going to allow anything to happen to you!!?

?Stop it Sage? we both know you can?t control what they do.?

?I don?t want to live without you. And I won?t. I swear to you here and now Ty? I will kill myself if they get to you? I won?t allow myself to live anymore.?

?Don?t say things like that??

?I won?t Ty? so make a deal with fate because I will die one way or another if you leave me.?

?Just trust me? trust me enough to know I won?t allow the bad to happen.? He said as he looked into her eyes. She loved him? and she always lost herself in his eyes? tears streamed down her face as she looked at him. She was tired of being afraid? she knew she broke down. After all that time, she thought she was getting better? she thought she was progressing. But it seemed as if she had taken one giant leap backwards. She put her head down as the tears fell to the floor.

He lifted her chin and looked at her. ?You?re not alone anymore. I?m here for you??

She couldn?t help but smile. For some reason, the fear was leaving her? it was as if his words had taken a hold of her heart, and kept the fear from engulfing her anymore. She could feel the trust she had in him growing inside her as it brushed all her fears away. She kissed him gently and wrapped her arms around his neck. She loved him, and she could feel his love for her make her strong again.

?Do you know how much you really help me?? she said as she looked at him, tears still falling from her eyes.

He wiped her tears away and held her tight.

?Only you have allowed me to love? to feel loved, to want to live, to feel strong? those things seemed impossible, but you?ve made it possible for me to feel it all. I love you for that.? she said.

He smiled a little and held her close to him. She didn?t want to be anywhere else at that moment. She would have given anything in the world to stay that way forever with him. He made her happy just being in his arms, being around him? but it was his words, his comfort, his love that made her live each day. And she was thankful for every bit of love he showed her.

Mayhony looked around, things were getting to risky.
"I've had enough of this."
She opened the door and smirked as a dagger was thorwn at her foot.
"I wasn't who you were expecting was I?"
She caught another dagger deftly in her hand as it sailed by her head. Blood ran down her wrist but she didn't aknowlage it.
"I have had it with you threatening my band and hurting them. I'm ending this."
Syn ran forward.
"Mayhony, your back, you can't fight like this."
She turned and looked at hin, a flame of hatred buring in her eyes, but not for him. He knew he couldn't stop her.
"This is my home Syn, my family. I'll have no more harm come to them."
She steped out onto the deck an stopmed on a loose board bringing it up she kicked it and bent to pick up the hidden scyth there.
"I only use this on special occasians."
She stepped out onto the night soaked ground and twirled he large blade expertly.
"We only want the assianess."
"You'll get her when you kill me."
Three shadows detached them-selves and flung at her. She smiled and spun the blade carelessly. Blood splattered the ground as they were sredded by the scyth. A red gleam was in her eyes as she smelt the blood and felt it on her hands.
"This is a band fight, whatever spoils and point you have belong to us should you die."
The leader nodded and cahrged, the pistol shot rang throught the yard and everyone held their breath as they kept fighting, they could hear the blood hit the grass and dirt. The figures began to move o quickly they became blurs.
"It's time to finish this!"
Mayhony stepped back and brought the scyth forward and up as he shot though her shoulder, he fell t the ground, split in half. SHe wiped the blade clean and smiled at the onlookers.
"You tell you REAL boss that the Dead Angel wants a council with him or her. Oh yea and one more thing."
She walked over to the leader and sliced of his head.
"Take this with you to show as proof that I mean bussiness. I'm done running.'
She threw the scyth back into it's hideing place and put the board back. Looking up at the others she smiled.
"Well, we may just have to move now."
The Bullet wound in her shoulder and theigh were bleeding steadily.
"Get everyone together. We have to disscuss the raid."
She looked at Hyo.
"You up to it?"
He nodded making her smile.
"Good."

Ty heard the gun shots and swiftly ran to the lounge where everyone sat, Mahony and Syn who walked back through the door, he looked at Mahony's blood stained clothes

'Well did you have fun?' questioned Ty as he pressed his back to the wall, folded his arms across his chest, put his head down

Mahony could see a slight smile on Ty's face...she couldn't tell if he was smiling because of what just happened or from what he said

'What are you smiling about?' she questioned as she looked at him

'Nothing,' he replied as his face turned expressionless again, at that moment Sage walked down

'I told you to stop taking off like that!!!!,' Sage growled, Ty cocked his head sideways and looked at her gave her a slight wink and then put his head down slightly and closed his eyes

Sage smiled at him, she could never stay angry at him, she then walked over by Mahony

'We need everyone here to discuss the raid,' said Mahony

Ty then placed his foot against the wall

'What is he doing?' questioned Mahony as she looked at Sage

'He's listening..to you...and to whats beyound that front door just incase of any other surprises..thats all...,' smiled Sage as she looked at Ty who just stood half in the light and half in the shadows

"Well now that I have all of your attetion I think that it's safe to say that more people than we want know about what we're up to. So here's the plan. We go as soon as Hyo can walk. Which should be soon. Till than I need Syn, Ty, Sage. I'm gonna take you three to train on getting through the lasers and turning off the security systems. I know all the codes and I can get you through there easy as pie. Everyone else just stay here and relax, we'll be gone about one day tops."
Mayhony walked away slowly waiting for the others to follow her.
"lets go, we need to do this trianing done quickly enough to get back here in time to get ready."
She grabbed the Scyth from the deck and walked away and into the woods and shadows.

Sage got up and went outside. She looked at Ty and she could see the blood coming through his shirt. He noticed her expression and looked down.

?Damn.? He said.

?Ty, it?s alright??

?No, now this shirt is dirty as well?? he said. Sage laughed. He was still worrying about things not being perfect.

?What?s so funny?? he growled.

She looked at him and tried to remove the smile that formed across her face. ?Nothing, nothing at all.? She said looking ahead.

?Liar.? He said smiling a little.

She smiled as she looked over at Syn. He was holding his head in pain.

?Mayhony, why did we have to go right [i]now[/i] for training??

?Because we?re a day away from the raid.? She said walking.

He held his head and whimpered. ?You just had to give me a hangover, didn?t you.?

?Hey, I didn?t force those bottles down your throat you know.? She said smiling.

?No, but you might as well have, they were just staring me in the face. Somebody had to drink them. Ty over there has to be dead sober all the time.? He said looking behind his shoulder. Ty stared at him, he smiled a little, but Sage knew that smile wasn?t something many people wanted to see. When he smiled like that, you knew he was thinking of the pain he could cause the person. And she could tell he was seconds away from causing him more pain. She smiled. She wanted to shoot him too. Just for kicks of course.

?You should show a little restraint then as far as liquor is concerned.? Mayhony said shaking her head.

?Oh come now, that?s like supplying an entire band with guns and saying ?shame on you? for using them.?

?Maybe, but now you?re just complaining, and no one likes a complainer.? She said smiling wickedly at him.

Sage shook her head, She knew it would a long training session.

"Well, could I at least get some asprin or something? It'd shut me up for a while..."

"If you'd like, I could shut you up permanently."

"Very funny, Ty. Hang on a second, I gotta use a tree..." Syn stepped away from the group.

"Even when he's hungover he's still crude and irritating. Why must we keep him?"

"If the two of you don't shut up, I'll duct tape you mouths shut!" Mahony interrupted. "Besides, I think he just makes himself look like an idiot as a front to keep his enemies or assailents in the dark about his true skills."

Ty frowned. "You say that only because you want to jump him."

Mahony started to open her mouth, but Sage interrupted

"No, the kid can handle himself pretty well in a fight. While you and Mahony were on that museum raid, Syn actually took down quite a few of the attackers. Of course, it was way too flashy but it got the job done."

"Hey! I can still hear you!"

"Then hurry up!"

"I'm sorry! You try drinking that much and see what it does to your bladder!"

"Now, children..." Mahony joked.

Syn rejoined the others. "OK! That's taken care of and now my headache's gone. I'm ready for anything!"

Mahony bashed him in the back of the head. "Oh really? Since we're behind schedule now, I'M GOING TO WORK YOUR ASS SO HARD YOU'LL BE PRAYING FOR DEATH!!!"

Syn whimpered.

Suddenly, they heard something in the distance. Ty slipped into the shadows as Mayhony and Sage got out of the way. Syn was alone in the middle of the field.

"Damn me and my slow reflexes. This doesn't look so good." he said looking around. Three bullets came his way. As he dodged the bullets more people came pouring into the clearing. Mayhony threw a dagger into one of the attackers throats as he came behind Syn. Syn pulled out his guns as four more assassins came his way.

Sage looked at Ty who was no longer standing there. She cursed under her breath as she began shooting every single one around her.

Syn smiled as he took them down one by one. Three came behind him and he heard three split second shots come from behind. He turned around and smiled when he saw Ty.

"You do care!" he said in a sarcastic tone.

"Don't make me shoot you, Syn..." Ty said.

Ty looked around as he slid back into the shadows more assassins appeared, Ty noticed that Syn could handle himself very well, Ty ran as fast as he could and stealthly crept up behind three assassins who came up behind Syn and Mahony, Sage was quick to distract two assassins who were just about to shoot upon Mahony, Sage shot them dead. Mahony heard a click from behind her, both her and Syn spun around to see three of them, they took down one each and was just about to shoot the thrid when his brains were splattered all over the ground

Syn looked to the side and saw Ty standing there with a menacing smile on his face and then he disappeared into the shadows and came out running towards five assassins who were running towards them, Syn, Mahony and Sage took off towards the swarm.

When it ended they stood looking down at the bodies that lay before them

Ty looked at his gun and then put them away with a smile

'Now thats what I call standing on the edge of no return...' smiled Syn as he looked around

'I agree,' said Ty as he looked around, Syn looked at Ty in shock

'You... agreed with me?......' spoke Syn as he rubbed the back of his neck

'Yeah why?...would you rather I disagree?' replied Ty

'Does it involve your gun?' questioned Syn

Ty smiled slightly demonically and carried on walking, Sage laughed as she caught up to Ty

"I knew you'd warm up to him." she said as they walked toward the clearing they were in, leaving Syn and Mayhony for a while.

"Warm up? Let's just say that he's the kind of guy I wouldn't shoot because I hate his guts. More along the lines of pure amusement." he said smiling at her.

Sage laughed. "Well, I'm sure that's probably the nicest thing you've said about anyone."

Ty stopped and looked at her. He smiled. "I think I've said nicer."

She laughed again. "To me, yes. To others, well, you're the kind of guy people will probably fear, even if they 'think' you can tolerate them."

She saw something at the corner of her eye and smiled. She walked over to a dead body and picked up a gun.

"Never thought I'd see this again." she said looking back over at Ty. She had her old gun again. Her smile faded and she looked back at her guns. "They probably destroyed everything in your house if they found this Ty..." she said glancing back at Ty. She still partly blamed herself for everything that had happened still. No matter how hard she tried to forget about it, she knew all these things were happening because of her. But instead of drowning herself in her guilt... she was able to look at it a little more positively. She vowed not to let anyone die because of her stupid mistakes.

Ty began cursing

'Dammit..I'm sure they left a mess!,' Ty growled and Sage laughed, Ty looked up and saw Sage smiling at him warmly

'You can't go a day with everything being perfect can you,' she smiled

'Why? is that a problem?' he questioned

Sage walked over to Ty and smiled, 'Don't ever change,'

Ty then kissed Sage passionately which caught Sage off guard, Ty let go and smiled at Sage who was trying to catch her breath back

'What was that for?' she questioned as her face turned crimson, although Ty couldn't see it..he knew

'Just wanted to,' he replied in a deep tone

Sage smiled as she grabbed him by the collar and pulled him down and kissed him, Ty pulled her in closer at that moment ty pulled away quickly

'Whats wrong?' questioned Sage as she looked around wondering what he heard

'Nothing...you just stabbed me in the side with you gun...' he said slightly winching at the pain, he lifted his shirt and saw that the bandage was nearly soaked with blood, 'Oh well...it's not too bad,'

'Ty!...look at it!...your bandage is soaked,' spoke out Sage

Ty smiled, 'I know...it's ok, it's nothing major,'

Sage raised her eyebrow at him but before she could speak he kissed her again

'I like kissing you...' he whispered as he looked at her, 'You give me this way out rush,'

Sage smiled as she kissed him and the Ty hugged her

'Your always warm to touch,' whispered Ty as he held her for a moment

'And your always cold to touch...your never warm..why is that?' questioned Sage as she looked at him, he pulled away as she touched his hands and face, 'Your always cold,'

Ty just smiled and then lent against the tree waiting for the others

Sage kissed him softly and wrapped her arms around him. ?You?re so sweet, Ty?? she said with a smile.

Ty laughed. ?Well I don?t think anyone?s ever described me as sweet.? He said as stared at her with this look of amusement on his face.

?It?s true you know. You have this side of you that makes me see how much you really care? and I guess the fact that you don?t show that side of you freely to others, kind of makes it special in a way??

?What do you mean by special?? he said sounding confused.

?The fact that I only see this side of you, lets me know how much you trust me? and knowing that you trust me? it?s probably the best feeling I could ever ask for. To know that I mean something to you, makes me smile.? She said looking up at him.

He smiled and kissed her again and she laid her head on his shoulder. She smiled a little when she saw how dark it was outside. She had grown very found of the night ever since she had met Ty?

?Will we always be together Ty?? she asked as she leant against him.

He held her tighter and stared into the darkness. ?I don?t know?? he said.

She was silent for a while and finally smiled. ?Somehow, that doesn?t even matter anymore when I?m with you? it?s not an issue? I just enjoy being with you now. And I?m grateful for the time we do have together?? she said softly. He kissed her softly on the top of her head as they waited for Mayhony and Syn to catch up with them.

Hyo remained in his room tending to his injuries. He felt bad holding everyone back due to his foolish mistakes. "Why am I in this band...All I'm doing is slowing everyone down...Dammit!" He punched the wall and then pulled his hand back in agony since it was injured already. He had removed his ninja gi but kept his swords in his belt. "I don't believe that Mayhony decided to postpone the raid for me to recover. I've never really received any kindness from anyone outside of family...it's...odd..." He said as he started to put his ninja gi back on. "I'm not gonna let her slow plans down because of me...she's out there after getting stabbed in the back...I can go on just as well with a few injuries..." saying this even though he received injuries all over him.

Hyo had dawned his ninja gi again and placed his kitanas in his cloth belt and some shuriken and kunai in his gi. He wrapped his mask around his face and headed out moving much slower than he normally could. "I don't want to be left behind..." Hyo followed the trail of corpses left behind by the others and soon ran into Mayhony and Syn. "Hey guys..." Hyo said casually.

"Hyo?! What are you doing out of bed?! You're supposed to be recovering!" Mayhony scolded.

"I guess I just recover quick..." Hyo said trying to hide his injuries.

[Jim_Hawking]

"I just wanna know one thing, how the hell do the two of you always manage to leave Mahony and me behind during these firefights?" Syn asked.

"We're fast that's all." Ty responded.

"...If I really wanted to I could say something, but I'd rather not have both Ty's and Sage's gun at my head."

"My, my...he's learning self-control. I do believe the apocolypse is nigh." Sage joked.

"Ha ha, very funny..."

"Come on, we're behind schedule enough as is. We need to pick up the pace."

They continued on.

"Umm, Mahony? Where are we going? I know you said this was a training mission, but I'm starting to recognize the area. Which in my case is a very BAD thing."

"Why so?"

"If we're where I think we are, then the moment we get within 100 yards of the city I'm gonna be attacked."

Ty had a confused look on his face. "You know this...how?"

"If I'm right, we're near my hometown of Lakfakalle. I've been exiled from there, and should I ever come within 100 yards Lakfakalle the local milita has orders to attack and eliminate on sight."

"I'd ask what you did, but I can probably guess." Ty said.

"Isn't that being a little closed minded?"

"Well now, this does make things interesting. I had planned on a another point raid to boost our score..." Mahony had a wicked smile on her face. "Syn, you said you were good at diversions right?"

"Sweet Goddesses, no..." Syn moaned.

"I think we can think of something..."
Mayhony walked over to Hyo and put a shoulder under his arm helping him along a little more quickly.
"You really should have stayed in bed Hyo. You could mame your-self permenatly."
"So could you."
"Not really no. I've had much worse than a dagger in the back and a few scrapes."
She stopped and let Hyo rest against a tree.
"No I heard that the bank here is pretty well loaded, and I think we could all use some spending cash for the day after tomarrow. So we raid the bank and get the hell out of here. Ty your in charge of security, Hyo, you'll come with me. We'll be lifting the spoils. As for Sage and Syn...You two have diversion duty, and Syn I belive that your past here could do that perfectly. Sage just don't let him get hurt."
She walked up to Syn and hugged him tightly.
"Come back to me okay?"
She buried her face in his chest and sighed. Looking up she kissed him and ran off with Hyo.
"Meet back here in fifteen minutes!"
She helped Hyo along as they headed for their target.

Sage smiled as she walked next to Syn. Syn looked over at her and noticed it was a menacing smile.

?Damn, what?s going on in the head of yours?? he said.

?Nothing, I just was thinking? my job is to make sure you didn?t get yourself killed??

?Oh crap, you?re not going to let me die out there are you?? he said full of concern.

She smiled again. ?No I couldn?t do that.? She said.

He sighed in relief. ?Good.?

?Mayhony would be devastated!? she said.

?And how would I feel?? he said shocked by her apparent lack of concern for his well being.

?That?s the beauty of it. You wouldn?t know the difference.?

?Damn you?re cold.? He said.

She laughed. ?So what?s the plan genius??

?Me?? he said in shock.

?Yeah, you, you?re the one who?s getting us out of this. You?re the one they want to kill this time.?

?Me? Oh yeah, Me?? he said. Sage rolled her eyes.

?Well??

?I was just planning on jumping out there and see what happens? I never thought of a plan??

?Oh crap, of all the people Mayhony teams me up with, it just HAD to be you.? She said.

?Well it could be worse?? he said.

?Really? How?? she said stopping and folding her arms as she looked at him.

?Well? be thankful I?m not drunk anymore?? he said.

Sage shook her head and smiled. ?You are really an idiot, you know that??

?Hey, I resent that.? He said quickly.

?Resent the truth all you want. A fact is a fact. You can?t change them.? She said as she continued walking.

?Are you going to be hostile this entire time??

?Hostile no, nervous as hell, well maybe. I mean, I?m working with a guy who just wings it!? she said shaking her head in disbelief.

?Hey, my methods have always been successful. I?m still alive aren?t I?? he said smiling as if he had achieved something worth being recognized for.

She stopped and raised an eyebrow his way. ?And that?s why you?re the perfect diversion today? because you have people who want to kill you.?

?Okay, first, it comes to our advantage now right? I must have known that this past of mine would come in handy in the future right? And second, I?m not the only one who has people who want to kill me.?

Sage laughed. ?To the first, that?s the sorriest reasoning I?ve ever heard. And to the second, well? you?re right. But that still doesn?t change the fact that you have no clue what you?re doing, and I?m expected to protect you when I have no clue what?s going down.?

Syn looked at her astonished. ?I?m right yet again? Whoa, must write this down.? He started to pull out his notebook when Sage pulled out her gun and shot the notebook so a bullet hole pierced the center of it.

?Hey? What was that for?? he said. Suddenly he heard footsteps coming from all directions.

Sage smiled wickedly. ?Time to prove how great winging it goes.? She said as she slipped behind the trees as the footsteps came closer to Syn.

"YOU THERE! IDENTIFY YOURSELF NOW!" A militia member shouted, waving his assault rifle at Syn.

"I know that voice..." Syn paused. "Shigeru?"

The militia member lowered his rifle. "Holy Jesus bouncin' on a pogo stick! Syn?! What the fuck are you doing back in Lakfakalle? You do realize we're to kill you on sight, right?"

The other militia members closed in.

"Shigeru, you wouldn't kill a friend would you?"

"Friend? Don't make me laugh. I still remember what you did. Were you that blinded by your hormones to remember that Laifel and I were DATING?!"

"......Shit."

Shigeru raised his rifle again, aiming towards Syn's head. "I think I'm going to enjoy this..." He was interrupted by a small streak of metal slashing into his trigger finger.

He dropped the rifle and saw Syn standing beside him, both Desert Eagles pressed against his skull.

Syn shouted. "Atention all you muthafuckas, Syn Alexander is back in town! Lock up your daughters, hide your valuables, and kiss your asses good-bye!"

"You idiot! You just made my job that much harder..." Sage thought.

"You do realize that the entire militia force AND Baron Abriel's personal forces are gonna come after you, right? You're as good as dead."

"Who knows? Maybe I'll see you in the next life. After you..." Syn said as he put two rounds in the head of his former friend. "Sage, get ready to run." He looked around. "Sage? Aw, crap. Sweet Merciful Goddesses, please protect this undeserving schmuck."

Syn ran at full speed towards downtown. Sage emerged from her hiding spot.

"......asshole." She took off after him.

Minutes later almost every guard, militia member, and private security force member was chasing after Syn with Sage following behind the angry mob.

"Hold still will you?! We can't shoot when you're running!" A nameless mob member shouted.

"That's the whole idea!"

Meanwhile, inside the bank vault.

"Thanks to Syn, this is almost too easy." Mahony commented.

"For once, his constant thinking with the little head payed off!" Hyo added.

"You know he'd smack you if he heard you."

"Yeah..."

Ty broke into the conversation. "Hurry it up you two, we got a big ass mob heading our way! Oh, and guess who's being chased."

Syn ran by the entrance of the bank screaming, "THIS SUCKS!!!!"

"Just keep running. We're about done." Mahony said to herself.

"It's almost too convienient that there was a bounty placed on Syn's head the moment he got here. Almost a miracle that every last idiot with a gun's going after him." Ty said.

"Ok, the vault's clean. We can go at anytime." Mahony stated.

"How much we get?" Hyo asked.

"About seven-hundred fifty thousand. Kinda light for a bank."

Sage stopped outside of the bank. "Are ya done in there? I can't keep up with that idiot."

"Yeah, on his way back through detonate a few of these smoke grenades. That'll let him escape."

"Either he's really hated in his hometown, or his hometown is full of nothing but idiots."

"Chances are it's a bit of both."

Syn ran by again. "WHY WON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?!"

"Now!" Mahony ordered.

Sage pushed the detonator and the grenades created a large plume of smoke completely obscuring the mob's vision.

"Syn!" Mahony shouted. "This way!"

The band ran back into the woods surrounding Lakfakalle.

"O..k, nev..er run....ning...again." Syn panted and gasped for breath.

Mahony bashed him in the head again. "THAT'S YOUR IDEA OF A DIVERSION! THAT WAS NOTHING MORE THAN YOU ACTING LIKE AN IDIOT! No matter how well that worked..."

"Hey, you go with what you know. Right?"

When they got back everyone was sleeping. Sage looked at Ty and smiled. He was still outside, lingering in the darkness.

?Ty?? she said as she walked out. He turned his head and smiled. She walked over to him and just stood there next to him for a while. She watched him in the darkness. She loved seeing him like this? at peace?

?Tomorrow is the raid then?? he said softly with his eyes closed. Sage smiled.

?Yes, are you ready Ty?? she said.

He smiled. ?I?ve been ready. The question is are you ready? We both know that things have been especially hard on you lately.? He said as he sat up from the wall.

Sage looked out over the distance and smiled. She took Ty?s hand and started walking across the field. ?You may love the night, Ty? the darkness. But I think what I find most calming is the trees in the forest. They have this covering, that just makes everything around you feel safe.? She said as they walked.

He smiled. ?Sage, I will take care of you?? he said stopping for a second.

She nodded lightly. ?I know. I just want to make sure I can take care of you. I won?t be able to live without you, Ty.?

He raised his hand to her face and caressed her cheek. ?Just enjoy what we have now. No one can say what the future holds.?

A tear fell from her eye. ?I know that. It?s a lot easier said than done though.?

?Trust me? I will take care of you.? He said as he hugged her tightly.

She laughed a little and looked up at him. ?You do realize that I?ve never trusted anyone as I do you, don?t you??

He laughed too. ?Sage, we?re assassins, when are we taught to trust anyone??

She smiled. ?True? but it?s a weird feeling just the same. You feel safe, but vulnerable at the same time. And the only thing that makes everything okay again, is to trust that person entirely.? She said.

Ty stared at her for a long time until he finally kissed her. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him tenderly in return. She loved him with all her heart.

Ty looked deeply into Sage's eyes, she returned the gaze,

'I love you so much,' she smiled at him

'And I love you....,' he whispered softly as he turned to look out over the field before them, a slight breeze blew passed his face and he closed his eyes, Sage walked up behind him and put her arms around him and pressed the side of her face against his back

'Why can't we stay in this moment?....why cant we be safe?' she questioned

'An assassin is never safe...but I will protect you...and I'll keep you safe for as long as I live and no matter what happens...I'll be right there always,' he whispered into the wind

Sage walked around infront of him and looked at him, 'I love you,'

Ty wrapped his arms around her and held her as if there was no tomorrow, he smiled as he could feel her warmth against him

'I'll be with you forever..' he whispered in her ears, she pulled her head back and looked up at him...to her it almost sounded like a death whisper but before she could say anything he kissed her

She held onto the kiss for as long as she could. She didn?t want it to end. She smiled. It was as if she was dreaming, without an ending. She knew this was real. She knew that it had happened. She had found what she had been missing for so long.

She looked up at him and almost laughed. She knew what he was thinking. She wanted him too. She smiled as he held her tighter and kissed her fervently. She was careful not to touch his wounds. She laid her hands on his chest and caressed him gently as he kissed her neck. The feeling left her warm even though a cool breeze blew past them and around them. She kissed him forcefully, as she wrapped her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist. She pushed her body against his and slowly broke away. Her feelings went everywhere at once, and she smiled. She needed to be with him again? she needed to feel near him.

"I love you so much Ty..." she said as she held onto him again. She made soft touches over his back and he smiled at her. She kissed him longingly, wanting this moment to last forever, trying to stop time.

Ty began to shake as his body shievered with excitement, he pressed against her she fell back softly against a tree as he caressed her neck with his lips, she wanted him and he wanted her

Sage grabbed hold of his shirt and tore it off as if she was unwrapping a gift, Ty did the same to her

'I can't stop wanting you...' he whispered as his heart beat rapidly and his nervous fingers trailed over her expose chest, she qivered and smiled as his lips trialled down over her chest, she wrapped one hand around his neck drawing him in closer as the other hand lifted above her head and gripped the tree behind her, and she smiled as her eyes rolled back up into her head as a rush of pleasure and excitement filled her body

She laughed softly as he went for her. She was excited when he was on her. She ran her fingers through his hair as he kissed her all over. She loved the way he kissed her? the way he felt her? the way he made her feel alive. She looked down at him and her hair fell to the side of her. He sent shivers up her spine as she felt him remove the rest of her clothing. She looked down at him and her face was right up to his. She grabbed his lips with her own as she kissed him feverishly. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he held her against the tree, their kiss never breaking.

Sage removed the rest of his clothing while pressing her naked body to his, she felt him shiever slightly, he looked at her and smiled, she then wrapped one leg around him

'Oh Ty...' she whispered as he then kissed her passionately

Ty then lifted her up and then lay her on the ground, he then repeatedly began kissing her, he made his way down to her stomach and he heard her giggle softly as he came back up, she then wrapped both legs around him and pulled him down

He entered her with ease and he softly groaned with exctasy

She gripped his shoulders as the pleasure poured into her. She moaned softly as the feeling took her over. Their bodies began to sweat. She pulled him down over her, letting her chest push against his. He kissed her neck and shoulders as she made feathery touches over his body. She turned him over and sat over him. She leaned forward, pushing him farther into her, making her shrill in excitement. She covered his mouth with her own as she felt every inch of his body with her fingers. She massaged his chest and sides, being careful so she wouldn?t hurt his wounds, never releasing their kiss.

Ty groaned beneath her as she sat up and moved on top of him, she gripped her thighs and pulled her down, She flung her head back as she shievered for more and her hands ran down his arms and Ty sat up to meet her lips with his, he then hungrily kissed her neck, there groans intwinded with each other as Sage let her head fall back, she looked up and noticed the moon which shone down on them and the stars which seemed to glow brighter than ever as their passion burned brighter, she looked down at Ty who now looked up at her and he smiled as he rolled her over, he then drove into her deeper and harder and with every push they both groaned and pulled each other in closer as if wanting more
