She arched her back into him as he felt her body with his hands, never letting up as he drove himself into her. She sighed with passion and flung her head back. Ty covered her chest with his lips again, as Sage pulled him down closer over her. She wrapped her arms around his back, and tilted her head as she kissed his shoulders as he pushed even more on her. Her body shook with excitement and the immense pleasure he was giving her. Her body trembled when he touched her, and she began returning gesture for gesture as they moved relentlessly over one another, never ceasing.

Ty groaned deeply as his body shievered, wanting more, his muscles tensed all over as she ran her hands over his body, he moved deep into her and she bit his shoulder sending another rush of excitement throughtout his body, her fingers dug deep in his back as she pulled him down, they could feel one anothers hearts racing, their breathing getting heavy and they were both drenched in sweat, Sage grabbed Ty by the waist and pulled him in more, Ty gripped the grass as excitement began to overwhelme him, his head throbbed with ectasy and his body shievered with pleasure as he drove into her harder and deeper and they both moaned with pleaure, Ty looked down at her

'I want you...' she whispered as she nipped his neck and he shievered as his thrusting became more harder and their kisses more passionate and longing

She gripped his waist as he pushed into her. Her heart was beating rapidly. He pushed into her with so much force, and she still needed more. She wrapped her legs around him again and arched her back as it became hotter, and she could feel their movements intensify. She rolled him over again and smiled wickedly as she kissed his neck and shoulders and trailed her lips over him. She pushed down on Ty as he gripped her waist and groaned in pleasure. She loved seeing that she excited him.

Ty sat up right as the moment became more heated than before, he rolled on top of her and their bodies became more faster, she kissed him needingly as he thrusted into her groaning softly, she could feel every inche of him throbbing inside of her, driving deeper into which every thrust, she arched into him, he ran his hand down her body caressing every part of her, he then brought his hand back up her thigh and up the side of her body and over her chest, she panted deeply as her head began to spin wildly as her cocked his head down and again kissed and teased her with his lips making her shiever, her moans became rapidly as her fingers dug into his shoulders, she began to getmore excited as his lips teased her naked chest more making her shiever

She looked over him and smiled seducingly, letting her exposed body hang over him as she slid her body over his. She sat over him and pushed her body onto him. He put his hands over her waist and pulled her down even more. She smiled as she put her hands over his and held his hands. She leaned over his body again, still holding his hands as she squeezed them each time she felt the pleasure that coursed it?s way through her. She turned her head to the side to get her hair away from her face as she kissed his chest and pushed down on him at the same time. Ty began to shiever...as she rocked gently, he smiled up at her, she then locked his hands down above his head so he could roll over on to her, and she bent her head down and kissed him, she could feel him throbbing once again deep in her, his heart raced more than before as a second wave or pleasure mesmerized his heart...his hands wanted to touch her but she held them down and he was weakened by the first love bound, his breathing heavy and mixed with groans as she kissed his panting chest and teased him the way he had done her, his body filled with excitement and he couldn't hold back as he turned her over and thrusted into her, she then cocked herself up on her elbows and he wrapped one arm around her holding her close to him, her head hung back as he kissed her neck and bit her gently which thrilled every part of her...in thrusted in deeper again and again, she bent her head up right and with one hand she ran her fingers through his hair in the process of biting his shoulder, the sensation was more stronger than before and their moans had escaped their lips repeatidly..Ty thrusted long and hard and groaned with every push

She shuddered with each thrust he gave her, a wave of pleasure sweeping away at her. She opened her mouth as to cry out in pleasure, but there was no strength. Instead she arched her back once more, holding herself up as he pushed down on her, and then fell back in exhaustion. She was panting like crazy, but the smile never left her face. She looked up at Ty who laid over her and kissed him gently. He smiled back at her. She knew he was trying to find the strength to get up. But it was proving more difficult then it was supposed to be.

He tried to get up but accidentally lost his balance. She smiled ?Take your time.? She said to him. His eyes danced as he stared at her. She put her hand through his hair again and down his face. ?I love you Ty?? she said softly. She could feel his heart beat faster since his body was so close to hers. She trailed her other hand down his back as he regained his strength. The truth of the matter, she didn?t want it to end.

Ty slowly slid off her, his body was shaking wildly as if feverish, he rolled over on to his back resting his hands beneath his head, his breathing was still hot and heavy as he slowly sat up, Ty rolled over and kissed her gently and gazed down at her, she was beautiful...and mesmerising at the same time, he kissed her again

'Come on...we'd better get some rest before tomorrow, Mahony will need us in good condition,' he smiled dreamily at Sage and she kissed him gently

'I wish it didn't have to end,' she smiled softly at him, he sat up and looked at her, the moon fell in behind his head casting an eerie pale white aura around him, she knew that once they got back to the hideout he'd change into the person they all know him to be...she wanted to stay in this moment where she'd always see his warmth even though his exterior was cold, she wanted to see his smile always....she closed her eyes for a second to grasp onto the image she had just seen...she loved seeing him like this....

They got dressed, she watched Ty fumble madly with what was left of the buttons on his shirt, she smiled, he brushed himself off and looked at her, she ran into his arms and he kissed her gently

'I love you Sage always,' he smiled down at her

?Thank you Ty? thank you for loving me...? She said looking up at him. She kissed him again gently as they walked slowly back to Mayhony?s house. When they got there, Sage smiled as she pulled Ty upstairs quietly and looked to her room.

?No need waking Senkai up right?? she said. He smiled at her and they went into her room. She closed the door quietly and yawned.

Ty laughed. ?Tired are we?? he said as he walked over to her.

She smiled. ?Of course I am. And you know you are too.? She said as she got into bed. He went beside her and turned off the lights. He leaned over and kissed her gently.

?I love you Sage?? he said looking at her, his hand caressing her face. She smiled again and slid her hand over the side of his.

?I love you too? she whispered as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Ty smiled and kissed her on her forehead and laid next to her, holding her and not letting her go.

Mayhony stood looking around.
"Tonight, yes tonight is the raid."
She went around gathering things and opened her closet. Inside was a black leather outfit, silver buckles graced the theighs and upper arms as she donned on the tight shirt and pants, the high collar hideing a tattoo that the others had failed to notice. She hooked the gun holsters around her arms fitting them to her ribs. She twirled the silver guns and slipped them into the seats that they rested in. She grabbed the leather jacket off the hook and slipped it on, it brushed the floor as she walked to her weapon cabinet. She trew it open and grabbed the shotgun and bow and arrows, she slipped the belt of daggers around her waist and sighed as the familiar feeling of the Dead angel set in upon her. She slipped her feet into the heavy boots and zipped them and then clipped the buckles across her shin and calf. She opened her door and met Syn.
"Get ready. We're leaving."
Syn blinked.
"Wha?"
"The raid. It's tonight. We leave in fifteen minutes. Get everyone together, make sure that they wear black. We don't need to be seen. By anyone."
She walked outside and slipped the scyth and a sheath for it onto her back, looking back at Syn she smiled.
"We need to be back by dawn, the sun's setting and I'm sure that the gaurds will be taking their posts now. Hurry up Syn."
She walked off the deck and sat on the bottom step waiting for the others to come out and greet her. The Dead Angel.

Sage heard footsteps from downstairs. She could tell it was Mayhony. She looked over at Ty and smiled. He was still asleep. She kissed him lightly on the lips as he woke up slowly. He smiled at her and her heart beat faster.

?Time to get up.? She said softly. He looked at his watch and laughed.

?How much time did we have to sleep?? he said looking at her.

?Three hours, plenty of time.? She said as she got up. He looked over at her and she was glowing.

He smiled as he went back to his room and got dressed. When he came out he went over to Sage?s room to see her getting her gear together. Syn came up at that moment and rolled his eyes.

?Why I thought I had to tell you assassins when something new goes on, I don?t know. And I had to walk up two flights of stairs for nothing." He said catching his breath.

Ty looked at Sage and smiled menacingly. She laughed and looked back at her gear. ?It?s good exercise, Syn. Something that you may need if you do all your diversions the way you did the last one.?

?It was yet another successful plan, all thanks to me.? He said with a sense of pride. Sage shook her head as he left. She would need extra bullets just to keep that man safe.

She stood up and placed her equipment on her dresser as she finished getting herself ready. She felt his arms wrap around her and he kissed her softly on her shoulders. She smiled as she turned around.

?You?re in a good mood.? She said.

?Don?t I have a reason to be?? he said with a smile. She laughed and kissed him gently.

?I love you Ty?? she said. Her eyes darkened. She knew she needed to keep her mind on the job. She had been dreading this day for a very long time. She knew how dangerous of a raid this was going to be. She didn?t want to lose him? she couldn?t lose him.

?I love you too?? he said. He looked at her and saw a tear in her eye. He knew she was trying to hide her fear? he wiped the tear away and held her closer. ?Everything will turn out fine, Sage. I won?t let anything happen to you.?

?It?s not me I?m worried about, Ty? I worry about you. Please say you won?t do anything too risky. I know I?m asking a lot, but I don?t want there to be even a chance that you may not return to me? I need you with me. Please?? she said as she stared at him.

He stared at her, trying to figure through his feelings. His life changed because of her? she had opened his eyes to many of the things he didn?t think he needed or even wanted in life. He knew he had so much to lose? the things he never wanted to be without anymore. Love, life, all those the things that had once mean nothing to him, meant so much to him now. He gazed at her and held her hand.

?Don?t worry? nothing will happen to me. You just concentrate on what you need to do.? He said

She nodded and smiled. She kissed him again and hugged him tight. She trusted in him, and her fears slowly washed away, leaving her ready for the raid.

Ty left Sages room and within a few minutes he had a shower and was ready, he wore a long black leather coat, his black boots, a black singlet, and black pants, he grabbed his black holster from his back and strapped it on, he then grabbed tow small computer key pads and a small overrider and placed them in his pockets on the inside of his jacket, he grabbed some cartriages of bullets and placed them on the inside of his jacket, double checked that he had everything and then ran down stairs, he passed Sage looked at her for a second and smiled slightly, then his face turned cold and sinister as they took off

She knew at that moment that he was focussed, and his mind was only on one thing, his job and only his job, nothing else would distract him

They then ran out and met up with Mahony.

Ty said nothing as he lent against the railing and Sage sat by Mahony, Ty supressed everything and blocked out anything that would distract him..even the pain in his side, although that was something he didn't give a damn about. His mind was focussed and ready for anything

OOC: Sorry about my abscence everyone, something unexpected came up and I did not have the chance to get on and tell everyone where I was going.

Senkai awoke the next morning expecting to have heard from Mayhony or the rest of the band. [I]I suppose they've only been gone for one evening...but still[/I] He couldn't help but be worried.

Going to Xero's room he noticed he was still passed out. "Xero, I'm stepping out for a few" He said as he tossed a two way radio onto the bed of the half awake Xero, "If anything happens, hit me up on the radio." Senkai quickly left the hideout at a full sprint.

Arriving at his destination a few hours later, Senkai checked his knives and his daggers and knocked on the door. Palms soaked with perspiration he awaited the answer. When suddenly he heard a scream coming from the second floor, and saw a sojo dive from the top window, hit the ground rolling and dash away. [I]It can't be...no not after all I've went through.[/I] Senkai scaled the wall and dove through the window, seeing the young woman on the ground Senkai ran to her side lifting her head into his lap hoping she was still conscious.

"Senkai...wha...what are you doing here?" The girl asked barley able to speak. "For some long, sought after answers." He replied, watching her face to see if she knew what he was talking about. "You know daddy would kill..*cough*..if he knew you were here." She replied her strength slipping from her. "I want to know why you turned me in...why did you betray me?" He was shaking her now.
"Senkai...I didn't betray you, my...*cough*...little sister did, she's also the one who sent the Sojo after me, she betrayed you, and tried to get rid of me before you could find me."

Though he did not know why, Senkai believed her. "You need to relax, the wound isn't fatal, but you need to rest." He laid her in bed as she slipped into a deap sleep.
"I'll stay with you as long as it takes" Senkai said grabbing her hand and giving it a tiny squeeze.

"Isn't this touching?" A voice came from the window behind Senkai. Knowing who it was Senkai dared not turn, but he knew if he did not he would be dead. "You did not forget me already did you?" It was the voice of Nicholas' ex-second in command Iodias. "Iodias...." Was all Senkai could say as he rememberd the ninja, they were trained by the same master so many years ago. Iodias bested Senkai on all aspects of their trades. Senkai just got lucky and won the masters favor by beating Iodias on a fluk during a spar. Ever since, they had been mortal enemies. Even after joining Nicholas' band as second in command, he did everything he could to mess with Senkai.

"I'm going to fill you in on something since you are about to die, your little friend here didn't betray you. I made that up to get you to lose your nerve, and oh how it worked." Iodias gloated.

Senkai arrose drawing his blades, "Yeah, I'm deffinateally going to have to kill you now" He laughed as he began his charge. Iodias blocked the attack and kicked Senkai straight to the ground. "I'm so sorry Senkai, but it seems you're even weaker than...." Suddenly a voice came over the radio Iodias was carrying. "Boss, we got problems, the female assassian and her three friends are awake and on the move." The voice came through clearly enough for Senkai to know who it was talking about.

"You got lucky today Senkai, but next time we meet you will die" Iodias through a smoke gernade towards Senkai. Knocking it to the ground Senkai prepared to go after the rival ninja...but to his surprise he began to feel weak as the smoke filled the room...."Damn..him" Was all he could get out as he feel unconscious.

Waking up it was close to mid-afternoon. "Iodias!" Senkai shouted as he sat upright in a bed. "Shh, he's gone Senkai." It was her voice.."I'm sorry I have to go, I'll explain some other time" He shouted as he lept through the window. He was newly renewed knowing his beloved had not betrayed him, he felt his old self. He felt he could finally be at 100% of his game...and for the sake of the rest of the group he hoped they were as well. He sprinted past the house radioing Xero as he went, "We have to get to Mayhony quick, otherwise we may lose everyone"

Xero's voice responded "Oh Shit, I'll catch up" Senkai moved as fast as he could in the direction he knew they were heading, hoping Iodias did not have as big a head start as he thought he did.

Hyo woke and got ready within a matter of minutes. He had placed his swords beneath his belt and checked his kunai and shuriken. He started out the door but he felt his injuries once again. He recovered from almost collapsing. "Unh...." He walked out of his room and downstairs with the others.

Syn ran down after him. "I'm sick fo these stairs...What is with you guys? How come you always know what's goin on?"

Hyo shrugged and laughed to himself, "Just instinct I suppose..."

"Whatever, Hyo..." Syn said crossing his arms.

Hyo reached for something in his pocket and realized he forgot it in his room. "Hey guys I gotta go get something real quick." Hyo said and ran up to his room. He grabbed a folded picture and placed it in his pocket. [i]I gotta make sure I do everything I can today...we have to complete this mission......then all of my legal money can go straight to my family...[/i] Hyo turned around to see Mayhony. "Uh...sorry to hold things up...I just wanted to..." Hyo started.

"Stop apologizing Hyo," Mayhony interrupted, "Let's get back downstairs with the others...we have to all be ready." Mayhony walked back down the staircase with Hyo soon after.

[i]So....it's finally about to go down...[/i] Hyo thought.

Sage looked over at Mayhony and smiled. ?Nervous?? Sage knew she was more ready then ever.

Mayhony smiled. ?Not in the least. I?ve been planning this my whole life.? She said as she smiled mischievously. She got up and walked over to Syn. Sage sat there thinking of everything that was going to happen. She knew the plan was clear and easy. There was no way something could go wrong. She looked over at Ty and he hung his head as he closed his eyes. She knew he was keeping his mind focused. She smiled as she looked down. He was always better than she was at keeping the mind on the missions.

She remembered the last mission she was on, the one where she had killed Vione. She remembered when she took the job. She had hated Vione for as long as she was alive. He killed her parents? and when she had the chance, she took his life. The job opportunity had been opened for her? and she jumped at the chance for revenge. She smiled weakly. And now the price for her revenge for her parents was threatening her happiness.

?Sage, wake up.? Mayhony said as she walked past her. Sage jumped a little as if she really was sleeping. She had gone unfocused? something she had to watch herself on? If she didn?t keep her act together she would bring not only herself down this time, but those around her as well. She glanced at Ty and he had lifted his head slightly, looking at her. His look was full of concern, as he stared at her. He knew she wasn?t focusing? and it scared him.

She smiled softly and turned away. She wanted to know that her act was at the top of it?s game. But she couldn?t help but feel a fraction of disorder in her thoughts as they went everywhere in her mind. She worried about Ty? the band? her life? her happiness? the raid? everything was kicking her down again. She looked back over at Ty who still stared at her. She wished she could suppress her feelings? just once? she wished she couldn?t feel her fears.

OC: A little confused as to timeline in Do?urden?s post? so I?m going to take a shot at fixing it a bit. I?ll change this, Drizzt if you had something else in mind :)

Senkai ran home as fast as he could. Xero met him half way. ?Did you find Mayhony?? he asked.

?No, I came this way because I thought you knew where they were going?? he said. Xero raised an eyebrow at Senkai, ?What?s all this about??

But before Senkai could answer, gun shots rang through the area as 7 men came out with machine guns and ran toward them. 5 Ninjas came from the other side and surrounded the two. Senkai looked at them all and knew he was lead into a trap.

Iodias smiled as he came out from the shadows. ?You?re a fool Senkai. Haven?t you learned already? I?m always one step ahead of you.?

?You Bastard?? Senkai said as he stared maliciously at him. A dagger flew from the distance and in lodged itself into his shoulder. Senkai was caught off guard and staggered back.

Xero went mad. ?That?s it..? he started but Senkai put a hand on Xero?s gun and eyed him, telling him that they had no choice.

Xero nodded softly and dropped his gun to the floor as they grabbed the two of them and hauled them away. Senkai fumed as he heard Iodias laughing as they left.

Mayhony looked around.
"Senkai and Xero will have to deal with this on their own. Alright, I think it's obvious that the hiest the Sage, Ty, Syn and I pulled eariler was a succsess."
She threw a bag of money to each in turn and she saw the look on Hyo's face as he realized he had recived more than normal.
"This is for you to spend. I have divided it amoung you as I see you each deserve, or use."
Sage looked at her.
"Where's your's?"
"I don't need that. I am going after what I want tonight. Now here's the plan. Sage, you and Syn are in title to the diversion. Hyp, Ty, you two will disarm the laser wires and alarms. I'll go in and see what I can do to get that damned crystal. After all that. We leave. Anyone who falls behind gets left behind. Thieves, and pirates code. My code. Keep up or get dragged. I leave no-one. Got that? So no-body get injured."
She felt the razor edge of the scyth on her back and smiled as blood welled up around the tiny gash.
"The dead angels, we live for the hunt. Let's go. Quickly and quietly. Like shadows. Move out."
Mayhony dissappered into the trees and ran along side Ty and Sage.
"Be ready. This is going to be the most dofficult heist you've ever had."
Both nodded.
"Good luck. SPLIT AMD REFORM! SEE YOU ALL THERE!"
She veered to the left and ran for the main entrance to the crystal as the others took their places.

Sage stared off as She ran ahead. She stopped and talked with Syn a bit before leaving. She felt Ty?s hand slip into hers as he gave her a small squeeze. She looked up at him and he kept walking and just stared off into the distance.

?You know what you have to do. Just remember I?m going to protect you.? He said. She looked down. He stopped suddenly and looked at her. ?Don?t be afraid. You have the training, and you?re one of the best assassins I know. Just let your reflexes take over. You?ll know what to do.? He said as he stared at her. Syn came over to them and Sage looked over at him and smiled.

?Ready?? he asked. She looked back at Ty and Ty?s expression was its visible coldness? but the way he cared for her, the way he loved her? showed his real self?

?You?re not as cold as you think you are, Ty? your actions prove that to me everyday.? She said smiling a little, holding his hand in hers. He gave her a hug and looked at Syn.

?Take care of her?? he said half warningly, and half pleadingly.

Syn was taken a back by Ty talking to him without threatening him, but most of all, he could actually see a hint of an emotion on his face. Something he had not seen? ever. He nodded solemnly as Ty looked down at Sage and kissed her lightly. She smiled and shooed him away as Hyo came. She watched the two of them as they went their separate ways.

She trusted in him? she believed in her heart that he would come back to her. She looked at Syn and smiled. ?Let?s get going.? She said as they headed out.

Ty and Hyo ran, they neared the building where the zeal crystal was being held

'There should be manhole around here somewhere, if there is, that should be where they hold all controls to the alarm systems,' spoke ty softly but coldly

They searched for a few seconds and found the manhole, Hyo opened it with ease and they jumped down unheard, Ty closed the Manhole behind them

They ran for a few meters where they found a door which was opened slightly, talking flowed out from the gap into the dark tunnel

'It's going to be hard for anyone to take it with this system,' came a voice

Ty held up three fingers, which stood for three men, he pointed left and then right and right again, Hyo looked at him and gave a slight nod, Ty then kicked down the door and fired three shots, all three bullets hit their targets and the room was now there's,

'Ok lets see what we have', spoke Ty as he jumped down into the seat, linked up his protable computer set and tapped in, within seconds they were looking at all security systems

'looks as thought they're using, High tech silent sensors....it's the S.R.000b,' spoke Ty

'How...do you know?' questioned Hyo as he focussed on the system

'I've worked with it before..hmmm...wait a minute, they've linked it with a trip wire sensor and lazer connectors..very High tech but looks abit unstable...lets rain on their parade....' smiled Ty, 'Hyo you take out the trip wire, i'll take out the S.R.000b and we'll work on the Lazer connectors, it seems they have placed the connects in the vault where the Crystal is,'

Within seconds two alarms were disactivated, and then they got stuck into the Lazer connectors and wiped them out

Hyo then reported what they had done back to Mahony and the others, Ty then shut down all communication links to and from the building but making it as though it seemed that everything was in working order for the guards above ground, Ty then quickly formed a virus so that if anyone did something to the system it made it look as though a virus had gotten to it.

'right lets get out of here,' spoke Ty, at that moment footsteps filled the tunnel as they opened the door

'Dammit,' whispered Ty

'Guards are doing their rounds, they should be coming down here soon,' spoke voice

'Damn we can't get out the way we came,' spoke Hyo

'Well looks as though we'll have to go the other way,' smiled Ty as he took off and ran towards the men, he took them out with a shot each and they carried on turning down many tunnels beneath the building above them

Sage walked with Syn. He glanced over at her and saw her face was still and unmoving.

?Hey, it?s just a raid.? He tried saying.

She smiled. ?Do you have a plan?? she said.

He gulped. ?Why is it me who always has to think of plans?? he said looking at her. She smiled and looked down.

?I?ve got one, but you?re not going to like it.? She said.

?Damn, what an introduction. How about I just say no already then??

?We need to separate. We have Ty and Hyo who are going through Security breaches, and Mayhony stealing a crystal. Guards will be stationed and alerted in two different areas.? She said.

He looked at her and frowned. ?But Ty wants you to be safe, Sage.?

?Do you want anything to happen to Mayhony Syn?? she said looking at him.

He stared at her. ?No.? he said seriously.

?Then I suggest you give her as much cover fire as you possibly can, because I can?t get the guards off of Ty?s back if we?re helping Mayhony. Just keep the communicator on, Syn. I?ll be fine.?

He looked at her and knew she was right. ?You?ll be fine then?? he said looking at her.

?Get out of here Syn.? She said smiling as she shoved him out of the way. He walked backwards just looking at her and finally sped to help Mayhony out. If the guards got her, then the entire raid would be over. But most of all, he didn?t want to lose her now.

Sage looked back over to where Ty and Hyo went. She wasn?t about to let them get caught. She cocked her gun, reloaded and ran back toward the entrance.

Ty and Hyo continued to run as Ty held off most of the gaurds pursuing them. Hyo looked over at Ty and looked behind him again. "Ty...you go ahead..." Hyo said grimly.

"Hyo what the hell are you saying? Mayhony wants none of us to get hurt..." Ty said to Hyo still firing.

"You have someone else who wants you alive too...I have no one..." Hyo said drawing a kitana.

"Hyo...you're wrong...you have your family...we both need to live got it?" Ty said to Hyo.

Hyo stared blankly. "Fine...but still go ahead...I'll catch up." Hyo turned around abruptly and Ty nodded and kept moving. The guards begin firing solely at Hyo but missed as Hyo disappeared in a burst of smoke. He took out all but one of the guards who had a gun to his head. Hyo was ready to slash but knew he wouldn't be fast enough. He closed his eyes then heard a gunshot. It wasn't the guard who fired...Hyo looked up to see the guard fall to the ground and Sage with smoke flowing from her pistol.

"Come on, Hyo....let's move." Sage said and ran along Ty's path.

Hyo got up and followed her. Not after long they caught up to Ty. "Sorry to keep you waiting..." Hyo said smiling beneath his mask. He looked to Sage, "Thanks for saving me back there Sage...I owe you..." Sage nodded and they all continued along the pathway.

As Syn ran he tried to formulate a strategy for keeping the guards away Mahony without compromising the entire raid.

"Hmm...I only have about six 15-round magazines left for the Eagles, but I also have the P99 I modified to fire tranquilizer darts...gah! What the hell am I supposed to do?!" He thought.

He stood in the shadows with his back against a wall as he heard voices. Voices that were unfamiliar and approaching.

"Did you hear?"

"Hear about what?"

"Some joker in network security actually reported a virus a couple days ago."

"Really?"

"Yeah, but it turns out that she uploaded the virus, just to test security."

The two figures stopped in front of Syn.

"So then what?"

"Well, duh. She was fired immediately, then I heard the just yesterday she turned up dead!"

"How so?" Syn asked.

"Knife wounds to the head." One of the guards replied totally oblivious to Syn.

"You mean," Syn drew his combat knife from his belt. "Like this?" He asked before piercing the skull of one guard then slashing the others throat. "I'll take your silence as a yes."

Syn continued down the corridor. "Ten to one odds, they were both blond." He thought. Syn turned a corner, then skidded to a halt.

".....Fuck."

Before him stood the longest stretch of laser wires he had seen since Mahony's "training." He cursed again. "Now what? *sigh* Sweet, merciful Goddesses of Luck, Life, and Love please protect this ignorant schmuck. Amen."

Having completed his 'prayer,' Syn ran head long towards the lasers. He contorted his body as he lept over the first set then rolled under the second. He slid through the third set, vaulted over the fourth, dove between the fifth, lept to the celing to aviod the sixth, kicked off the celing, flipped, rolled, and spun past the final set of lasers before landing feet first on the other end of the hallway.

"Holy crap! Thank you Goddesses!" He said under his breath before continuing towards Mahony's location.

?Great diversion you and Syn created.? Ty said jokingly.

?I thought so.? She said, a smile stretching across her face. They stopped as they came to a fork in the hall. She looked to her left. She knew that was the way t the entrance. But something wasn?t right. She looked at Ty and he stared at her.

?You two go right, there?s an exit farther down. I?ll meet you guys up top.? She said. Ty stared at her. He didn?t want to leave her. She smiled.

?Get out Ty, I?ll be fine. You said yourself I need to trust in my own reflexes. Go?? she said.

?We can?t leave you here to die, Sage.? Hyo said as he came to Ty?s side. Sage looked at him and smiled.

?So little faith.? She said. She grabbed her gun and reloaded it as she went on. ?I?ll handle this hall. I won?t repeat myself. I?m in charge of diversions, and I won?t let a couple of hackers get in the way of my job.? She said. Ty knew she needed to do this. She looked up and winked at him as she turned around the hall and fell to the left shadows.

?Let?s go Ty?? Hyo said as he pulled his arm. Ty looked back at Hyo and then back at Sage again. ?She?ll be fine.? Hyo said. Ty nodded and ran toward the other corridor.

Sage waited for a while until she heard footsteps. She unhooked a small grenade and threw it out at an angle so it hit the wall and bounced further down the corridor. It was a silent grenade, but it did its job. She walked over to the five corpses and picked up their recorders. Just as she had suspected. Gervine was still after her. She cursed under her breath as she stood back up. She walked to the end of the hall where she saw 7 guards outside waiting. She sighed in relief. She knew something was up with this end of the entrance. She listened on the receiver she grabbed from one of the dead guards and listened. The entrance that Ty and Hyo had gone through was clear. She smiled. She had done her part. She looked past the men and knew it was now or never. She threw a grenade outside, as 6 more came on the scene. The grenade detonated, killing 8 of the guards. They came toward the entrance and she cursed. She pulled her gun out and readied herself as the shots came toward her. She shot 4 of them down before reinforcements came. She was tempted to run toward the other exit? the one Ty and Hyo had left through. But she knew that would have defeated her whole purpose in finding them anyway. She had sworn to protect him? and now she would rid herself of the nuisances that threatened her life. She stopped and returned fire until she was out of bullets.

One of the guards pushed her to the ground and placed a gun barrel to the side of her head.

?Don?t kill her? Nicholas has asked to see her personally.? One of the assassins said. She looked at the rest, and saw they were all Gervine?s men. She dropped her gun and let them bind her as she walked to the clearing. She hoped that Ty would be safe? and she waited for the inevitable. Nicholas had requested an audience. And she was not about to spoil the happy reunion.

Mayhoyn trusted the feeling of ease in her mind as she approched the Crystal that Ty and Hyo had both did the job right. She walked over and cut the glass to the Zeal and reached in as her fingers closed over the cool surface of the jewle she growled as alarms went off and she was surrounded by gaurds, the gaurds were male.
"WHAT? This isn't what I saw a week ago!"
She ducked and weaved as the gaurds came at her, she bobed ontop of one to avoid being hit and reached for her scyth she swung and found the blade pined under the foot of a hefty gaurd, he kicked her in the side causeing her to cry out.
"Damnint!"
She grabbed the pistols in her jacket and took down as many as the bullets would allow. She was soon swamped and she looked over just as Syn ran into the room to see her punched in the stomacha dn knocked to the ground. A burly gaurd stood over her.
"She's a beauty, eh? Well lets get her to the boss."
Mayhony moaned as she was lifted and carried away.
