Hyo walked in to see tears rolling down Mayhony's face. He felt his heart sink. He walked over to Mayhony and placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see that it was Hyo. "I'm sorry Mayhony...it's my fault that we lost Ty..."

She shook her head, "There wasn't anything you could do, Hyo..."

"You're wrong...I could have stopped him from dying...I was right there...I should have taken the shot for him..." Hyo started. "...it wouldn't have caused as much grief for the team..."

Mayhony sat up and slapped Hyo in the face hard, with her eyes still full of tears. Hyo returned the hit with a confused look, "Hyo, you think that we would be any less saddened if you had died instead?! You're wrong! And what about your family? What about them?! They wouldn't be able to take care of themselves if it wasn't for you!"

The last statement Mayhony made caused Hyo's heart to sink. He didn't think about his family until she said that. He had only thought about their band...and the sadness that had filled the group. He looked away from Mayhony's face and stood up. "I'm sorry Mayhony..." Hyo said and walked outside...to think about what Mayhony had just said to him. Just as he made it outside he saw Sage sitting there crying and he could feel his heart aching further.

"I wish there were something I could do for Sage right now, but what?" Syn thought. He sat across from where not two hours before he and Ty had been talking about some stupid thing or another over a cup of coffee.

The loss of a comrade wasn't a new expirience to Syn, he had seen former bandmates be gunned down mercilessly by sadistic guards, but this was different.

He went outside to look around for something that could give him a clue as to who killed Ty. After offering a quick prayer at Ty's grave, Syn went to where Hyo had found him. Just then, Mahony walked up to his side.

"What are you doing out here? Sage is inside, her heart shattered beyond repair, and she needs us to be there for her."

"I'm merely trying to find out who did it. Also, until I have proof otherwise, I'm not ruling out the possibility of suicide."

"WHAT?! You don't really believe that Ty would kill himself do you? He loved Sage too much to do that to her."

"Or, that could be the exact reason he did do it. Once I have sufficent evidence towards an individual suspect or organization, we can go after them and put Ty's spirit to rest. I need you to tell Sage that last part, ok?"

"Fine, just...make sure you also comfort her personally. She needs all the support she can get right now."

"I will, but for now you'll have to do it for me. I have some work to do."

Sage walked with her arms folded... her life being shattered... her heart feeling heavier with every step she took... with every breath... she wished it to be her last...

Tears came to her eyes as she thought about him... they would never have that future together... the one she had always hoped for...

She walked down the hill... her mind was clouded... she wished a flying bullet would hit it's fatal mark. But nothing came... Lady death was not so kind to her...

She tired herself out looking for something she couldn't find... peace....

She kept on walking until she found a small pond... the water from the mountain side trickled into it, filling it's small pool with cool water. She knelt down and stared at it for a while. She wished it was a bit deeper... deep enough for her to leave this place and sleep for eternity...

She shook her head.. she wasn't sure what she wanted anymore... she wanted her life back... she wanted him with her... by her side... she lived in him... and now that he as gone... that part of her... died... along with him.

She heard rustling in the bushes and decided to let whatever come... to come... she waited for it, staring at the small pond... no fear... nothing... She lost everything that ever mattered to her... there was nothing more she could lose... that had any meaning... that had any purpose... She was a walking dead person, trying to find a way out of her own misery... and she waited...

[Kayin Cloud]

Hyo had seen Syn as he made his way fir the door. "Where are you heading?" Hyo asked from his seat.

Syn looked back to see that it was Hyo talking. "I'm going to see who killed Ty...and find out why..." he replied.

Hyo sighed. "I hope you're good at detective work..."

"What do you mean Hyo?"

"I killed the sniper as soon as I spotted him. We can check his body for anything I suppose..."

"Hm...Sounds like that's the best thing I can do..." Syn replied. He walked to the door.

"Wait...Allow me to accompany you...I know where the body dropped...besides you may need my help once you go after those who had Ty killed..." Hyo said standing and picking up his swords. "No...forget what I said...I'm accompanying you regardless of your reply..."

"Right then...let's go..." Syn walked out and Hyo followed after. Hyo lead them to the sniper's corpse and they began to look for any leads to the ones who had Ty killed.

Sage let the tears fall as she saw Mayhony coming out of the area.

"What are you doing out here?" Mayhony asked walking over to her. Sage turned away and held her knees to her chest as she sat there next to the water.

"I'm dreaming..." she said quietly. Sage looked over the mountain as she wished her dreams were realities... "What do you want?" she asked.

Mayhony looked at her oddly and walked closer to her. "I came to see you..."

"You have a raid to think about, Mayhony... I can take care of my own problems."

"Bull..." she said looking down at her. Sage looked up sharply.

"What is that supposed to mean?" she said glowering at her.

"You can't just sit here and think about your pain forever. You got to get up and move on with your life..." she said.

Sage got up slowly from where she was sitting. Her gaze did not falter as she stared... "Go..." she said sternly.

"Sage, I know you're hurting right now... I only mean to help you..."

"You don't know the first damned thing about it..." she said evenly, her voice not raising in pitch.

"Sage, we all lose the ones we love... but you are in danger right now... you shouldn't be out like this."

Sage's eyes filled with tears, but her face did not change... "I can give a damn about my life right now... I can give a damn about you... about the raid... I can give a damn about Orion's Belt... I can give a damn, because everything inside of me is gone, and all that is left is this damned existence. You want me to move on? Fine... I'll move on..." she said as she picked up Ty's guns, which were all that were left of him, and left Mayhony there alone.

She walked past Syn and Hyo who were examining the dead body. She overheard Hyo talking about the sniper, and she realized that he was the man that killed him... who took him away from her...

She slowly walked over and pushed them away. She pulled out a recorder and heard Iodias' voice on the other end... she looked away from Hyo and Syn and walked. She loaded Ty?s guns? this would be her last defeat? the Shadow Dragon was gone. She dried her tears? the pain in her heart swelled as she walked on? she would take Iodias down with Ty?s gun?

"Hmm...I'm guessing by your body language and your reaction to the voice on the recorder, you know who ordered the hit. Correct?"

Sage nodded.

"And I'd go as far as to give fifteen hundred to one odds that it was Iodias, right?"

Sage nodded again.

"One last question, do we know where Iodias is?"

Sage replied. "Yes, he's to the north in Genom City. At least, that where I remember he was."

"Exactly how far is that?" Hyo asked.

"Roughly 300 miles." Mahony answered.

"I suggest that we head to Arcadia first, get some supplies and, more importantly, rent a vehicle so we can get up there quickly." Syn added.

"Syn, Lakfakalle is only 2 miles as compared to Arcadia's 10." Hyo said.

"Yeah, and since you don't remember Lakfakalle is my hometown that has direct orders to kill me on sight. Besides, unless you were planning on boosting some of either the military's or Baron Abriel's personal security forces equipment, we'd be better of going to Arcadia."

"I think I know how we can get Syn into Lakfakalle." Mahony said with her signature devilish grin.

"Oh no...please no. For the sake of the Goddess of Mercy, no!"

"You don't mean...[i]that[/i] do you?" Hyo asked.

"Hope you like wearing make-up Syn." Mahony began snickering evilly. "Come on Sage, it's time to get ready."

Sage followed Mayhony back to the house... she never wanted to return to this place alive... she turned her head and noticed Ty's guns...

"They're yours now, Sage... I'm sure he would want you to have them." Mayhony said, noticing her eyes on his firearms.

"Ty hated people touching his things... he shot my hand once when we were kids. He said I was too close to his possessions." she smiled lightly. "He was very protective over the things that belonged to him."

Mayhony watched her for a while as the smile on her face turned into tears. Sage turned away and went upstairs to her room. As she went she hollered to Mayhony.

"I'll be down... just call me when everyone's ready..." she said. Sage reached the top of the stair and closed the door to her room. She leaned against the door frame and stared at the ceiling. What was she to do now? He had left her... and now, there was nothing for her but memories. Nothing for her... but the time she spent with him... the few months they were together.... and the days where she found out about his feelings for her... she wished he was still near. She walked over to her bed and sat there staring at nothing for a while. She wanted to feel him near again. She pulled out her gun and looked at the trigger favoringly. She didn't want to feel anything anymore... the pain inside her... was because she allowed herself to love someone.... and became attached... she stared at it long and hard. She checked to make sure it was loaded......

She then threw the gun out the window... she put her head in the pillow and screamed as the tears fell... she wanted to end it all.... but it wasn't in her nature. She wanted to blame him for the emptiness she felt now that he left her... but she could not find it in her heart to hate him... she still loved him, with every fiber of her body, she loved him... she hit the bed with her fists as if she was fighting off an attacker... she screamed in the pillow, out to no one, asking for an explanation.... asking why the people she loves... leave her.... why she was forced to live in a world.... where she loves alone.... she slowly calmed down and came to her senses...

She softly whispered.... something only he would hear... something only he would know... something... that she would feel... for the rest of her life....

Mayhony looked up from Syn as she faintly heard Sage scream. She looked back at Syn and smiled putting the final touches on his makeup.
"Wow, you make a pretty girl Syn."
"No freakin funny Mayhony."
Mayhony laughed and sighed.
"Once we get you into the town you and Sage go and do what you need to do, meet me back at the vault, this all ends tonight, we'll show them all that they can't get rid fo the dead angles that easily."
She kissed him quickly and walked up stairs knocking on Sage's door.
"Sage...time to go...you ready?"
She blinked as Sage stood, fire in her eyes...Ty's fire... She nodded and walked out, sage close behind. reaching the bottom Sage cracked a small smile looking at Syn.
"Not bad Mayhony, can't really tell."
Syn poked one of his fake breasts.
"I could get used to THIS, fondle my-self and never get slaped."
Mayhony laughed and swiped his hand away.
"Yeah well, don't fondle them to much, you'll mess them up."
Sage came up beside her.
"what did you use?"
"Ballons filled with pudding, jello would've been to bouncy."
Sage nodded. Mayhony caught the glint of the gun on the ground outside and leaned out the window picking it up.
"Sage, you shouldn't throw this away...it's the only thing that he had left to give you."
she handed the gun back and leaned in close putting a hand on Sage's stomach.
"And what if you have a child, he left you with more than you think."
Only Sage had heard the last statment.
"Don't throw your life away like it meant nothing to him. He loved you, to his last breath. He wouldn't want you to linger. Get your job done with Syn and meet Senkai, Hyo, and my-self at the vault. We get the Zeal Crystal tonight. Don't get killed and don't be late, we need you two."
Mayhony hugged Sage lightly and then hugged Syn tightly, tears burning her eyes.
"Give them hell for me eh?"
He nodded and kissed her deeply before walking out, Mayhony caught Sage's arm befreo she left.
"Take care of him for me, you know how reckless he is...and Sage, come back to us. Your a part of this family. Come back."
Sage nodded and left. Mayhony wiped her eyes as the rode away, each on a diffrent motorcycle.
"Come back, both of you..."
She turned and went throught the house athering her things as Senkai and Hyo came down.
"Get ready. We're making our move tonight. We're meeting them there when their done."

Sage just stared at nothing as Mayhony talked to Syn. What she said, shocked her. She didn?t know what to think. She decided not to think about that right then... the thought scared her...

She looked at Syn. ?Ready?? she said.

They left the house. Sage walked on and noticed minutes later that Syn was lagging behind. ?Hurry up you idiot.? She said looking at him. He was looking himself up and down.

?Does this outfit make my hips look big?? he asked turning to the side a bit. ?Because I don?t think it flatters my figure much.? He said.

Sage rolled her eyes, ?Syn, you make a very pretty girl. Is that better??

?Very funny.? He said walking faster.

?Just stay out of my way and I?m sure everything will be fine.?

?You?re not going to do anything stupid are you?? he asked.

?Define stupid.?

?I mean stupid as getting yourself killed.?

?Well I can?t exactly say that what we?re doing here is safe, Syn.?

?What we?re [i]doing[/i] is killing those bastards that were responsible for taking Ty?s life. Not adding to their list of casualties.?

She walked on in silence. ?I?m not going to try to get myself killed, Syn. I want them dead as much as any of you. It?s the afterward I?m not so sure of.?

?What do you mean by that??

She didn?t reply. The truth was that she didn?t want to hold a gun ever again. She was done? she was fed up with the people who died because of a single bullet. She was tired of people leaving her? she was tired of feeling empty inside. She would find something? and then lose it. It was the story of her life, and she hated it.

They reached the city by nightfall. Sage looked at Syn and smiled at his uneasiness.

?Something bothering you, Syn?? she said sardonically.

?Listen, I?m allowed to be nervous here, okay?? he said pulling his skirt down.

Sage laughed. ?Well I?m allowed to enjoy myself in your pain.?

?No wonder you and Ty hit it off so well? you both have that sadistic humor to your nature.?

Sage smiled. That was another thing she had always loved about him. She looked at his gun at her side and wished he was near.

?Sorry? that was inconsiderate of me, wasn?t it?? Syn said.

?No? it feels good just to hear his name.? Sage said with a smile. Her eyes filled with tears as she wiped them away. ?Alright, we?re just going to pick up the supplies here in Lakfakalle. Please Syn? don?t draw any unnecessary attention to yourself.? She said.

?The way Mayhony dressed me, it?s as if I?m looking for a warm bed tonight.?

Sage rolled her eyes. ?Baby.?

?Fine, I won?t complain anymore. Let?s just get going.?

Sage walked over to the store and looked around. She left Syn for a while, and instantly realized the mistake she made in doing that. She went back only to find Syn playing his part? a little [i]too[/i] well.

She watched with her arms folded as Syn bargained with the sales clerk on some prices for the supplies they would be needing.

?It?s 400 dollars for that piece of equipment ma?am.? The clerk said.

Sage almost laughed at loud at his performance. ?But it?s so big and bulky for someone like me to carry all that way to my home. The burden for me is going to be more than I can handle. You can take off just a measly 100 for me can?t you? For the trouble I?m going to be going through for this product?.?

?Well??

?Please?? Syn said in his highest pitched voice he could manage.

Sage shook her head as she went to look for transportation. Syn was enjoying himself a little too much. She just hoped this whole ordeal didn?t cause problems for Mayhony and Syn later in life. She walked out of the store and went to a car dealer at the edge of the city.

The man was sitting in his office and jumped up when he saw her come around to look at the cars. She rolled her eyes. This was one of the reasons she hated the common working man. All a bunch of fakers.

?Well little lady, is there anything I can help you with today.?

?I?m looking to buy a car.? She said.

?Well what kind did you have in mind??

Sage stopped in her tracks and looked at the man. ?The kind that is drivable.? She said with as little enthusiasm as she could manage.

?I see you?re the silent type of shopper.? He said.

Sage rolled her eyes again. She was really starting to get annoyed. ?Listen, how about I call you if I find something I want to take.?

?That sounds like a plan.? Said the idiotic salesman as he returned to his office.

?Silent shopper?? she said to herself shaking her head. She looked at the selection before her. She wasn?t sure what Mayhony had in mind, but she knew what she thought would be a good car. One that wouldn?t make a lot of noise? black preferably, and with good mileage. She looked on for a bit and jumped when she felt a tap at her shoulder.

?What?s got you agitated?? Syn asked.

She turned around and saw him with an armful of stuff. ?You, that?s what. You almost gave me a heart attack.?

?Sorry.? He said backing away. ?What are you looking for??

She turned back around and eyed him warningly.

?Stupid question, forgive me.? He said with a smile.

?If you didn?t resemble a woman so convincingly, I?d hit you right now.? Sage said as she looked through the lot.?

?Wow, this getup really does come in handy!? he said as he repositioned the items he was carrying.

She laughed a little. ?Syn, I just hope you don?t enjoy all of this [i]too[/i] much.? She said as she walked up to a Black RV.

?Oh don?t get me wrong, this comes in handy, but I?m not thinking of going through any life altering changes for it. Besides, these heels are uncomfortable.?

?That?s good to know.? She said. She looked at Syn and smiled. ?Go tell the salesman to come out here.?

?Will do.? Minutes later he came outside closely followed by the salesman.

?So have you found the car you?re looking for??

?Yes, we want this one.? Sage said opening the car door.

?Um, well?? the man said as Syn got in the car as well.

?Just tell me how much it is.? Sage said impatiently.

?It?s not for sale, I?m sorry. I sold this one already.? He said looking at her.

?Pity. Do you have any others just like this one? Mileage and all?? she asked staring him down.

?No, Sorry ma?am. Maybe I can interest you in something else??

?How about I just pay you more than this other client of yours.? She said.

?I?m sorry, but a man under the name Iodias gave me strict instructions not to sell this car until he came here to get it. Says he needed it badly??

?Oh really.? Syn said looking at Sage. Sage shook her head.

?Bad call sir.? She said. Just then, Mayhony came up right behind the man with a gun to his back.

?What the-?

?And here we were almost going to give you the choice.? Mayhony said smiling at Sage and Syn. ?Now hand over the keys and no blood will be spilled in this quaint little business of yours.?

?Damn Bi-?

?I don?t think so.? Syn said Wig and make up completely off as he pointed another gun to his head. The man begrudgingly walked over to Sage and handed her the keys to the car.

?What I am supposed to tell Iodias??

?Tell him The Shadow Dragon has returned, and he?s taking what belongs to him.? Sage said as they drove off.

?Vengeance is not kind?.? She muttered under her breath as they drove out of the city with full speed.

"It feels good to sit down again. Those heels were just murdering my ankles." Syn said in an effeminate voice.

No response.

"Well I thought it was funny..." He said in a normal voice before playing with his fake breasts again.

"...Syn, you're a pervert. Touching yourself out in public. Have you no sense of dignity?" Mahony joked.

"I want the damn pudding you used. I'm getting hungry."

"Can't say I'm shocked," Sage started. "The only thing you think with is your stomach."

"I could say something to counter that arguement, but I don't wanna get hit right now."

"Can we please focus on what we are about to do?" Mahony pleaded, trying to get everyone to remember what they we doing.

"Question, are we revising our strategy or are we just gonna try a smash 'n grab?"

Mahony growled as she grabbed Syn's fake breasts, held them over his head, popped them, and watch as the pudding splattered on his face.

"That answers that..." Syn said. "Ooo...butterscotch."

"Back to the point, Mahony. Is it the same as last time, or do you have another idea?"

"Oh something very diffrent. We walk in and take it. They won't be suspectingan all out frontal. The gaurds will be inside so all we have to do is take over the servalance room and lead soemone form there. I'll be the one retreving. After taht we grab the seal and haul ass. Thats the plan."
Syn nodded.
"great, now how do we get in?"
"Easy."
Mayhomy took the wheel of the car form Sage and pressed the gas as the building came into sight. Syn clutched the back of her seat as Sage raised the hood of the car above their heads.
"MAYHONY!"
She laughed as they crashed throught the front gate and head for the servalance room.
"Thats how Syn dear. Thats how."

They got out and looked around. Sage pulled out her guns.... Ty's guns.... and shot every single guard in sight.

"All clear... let's move." she said.

"Damn, I haven't even changed yet! I'm still in a freakin dress, how is anyone supposed to take me seriously when I'm wearing a dress???"

"You should have dressed more practicle Syn... we're going on a raid, not a date." Sage said as she reloaded.

"You girls are having too much fun with this." he said as he pulled off his earrings.

"No, Syn... you look intimidating... just wipe off the blush and you'll be fine."

"Damn it... you're really not going to give me time?"

"I'm going now... sooner or later Iodias is going to know that we busted through his front gate... I'm not giving him the chance."

"We need some sort of plan..." Syn said as he got his bag of clothes.

"Then here it is. I'm going after Iodias. You two go around the side to the treasury. Get as much as you can, and be careful, he may be trying to make his escape that way. Don't let him get away!" she said as she ran full force toward the doors.

"Syn, we should go after her..." Mayhony said.

"No... I think this is something she needs to do for herself..." he said.

"Hurry up then and change... we don't have much time.

Sage went through the halls and saw men running... they had heard the break in... someone tripped the alarms.

"Damn it..." she said. She closed her eyes... she couldn't fail... not this time....

[I]?You know what you have to do. Just remember I?m going to protect you.?[/I] He had said. She remembered how he looked at her... his eyes... the pain of remembering brought tears to her own... [I]?Don?t be afraid. You have the training, and you?re one of the best assassins I know. Just let your reflexes take over. You?ll know what to do.?[/I] He had said as he stared at her.

She wiped the tears from her eyes... she had to do this... for Ty.... for herself...

"Ty.... you'll be with me.... and with you in my heart I can do anything..." she said ashe clutched his guns to her chest. She pulled out of the corner and took out all the men in the halls... She slipped in and out of the shadows, just as Ty had done... just as Ty had taught her... thinking nothing but of the game ahead... as she hunted her prey.... the man who stole her love.... her life... she would make him pay dearly.... he may have killed Ty.... but he did not defeat the Shadow's Dragon.... he lived in her... and she would keep Ty alive.... inside of her. Her eyes beared down over the dead bodies around her... her eyes glowered ahead as she walked to the main hall....

Periodically, she would shoot another man... she saw 5 of them at the end of the hall guarding a room... she knew Iodias was inside there...

[i]?I will never allow anyone to take you from me?? he said holding her.

?And what about me Ty? Am I not supposed to feel the same way toward you????

?I?m going to protect you? I can protect myself Sage.?

?Damn it Ty?? she said as the tears fell from her eyes. ?You can?t be strong forever!! You?re not invincible. They?ll get you? they?ll kill you? and then I will die. I swear to you? I will die??[/i]

He had held her even tighter.... and she wanted so desperately to feel his arms again... She took out a small grenade and waited 7 seconds for detonation before throwing it toward her prey... it detonated on contact, killing them instatnly and destroying the door.... and she saw him.... his face blank as he stared back at her....

"You will not live this time.... Ty may have shown you mercy.... but I will not...." she raised her guns and shot the two guards who thought they were concealed... she pointed the gun at Iodias.... "It's just you and me.... shoot me if you dare... run... cry for help... but no one will hear... and your efforts will all be in vain.... you coward, I wanted your death to be as painful for you as it was for me... I've been dying ever since you stole him from me... but not this time... you will die...." she said as she pulled the trigger.
