mimiru945
Zaion was sitting on a rock a little ways from the grupe fliping her staff in the air as she that about her parents. She had never knowen her father or even what his name was. She looked at them when she heared Jarod speak. She jumped off the rock landing silintly she walked back to the grupe to9 see what was going on "Sorry I was not paying attenion what is going." She said tropping the staff onto Kires head."Opps sorry."
sky
"Yah oh that hurt but anyway we are giving the stones to atorious so that he can drain the shadow power within." Kierra handed her stone to aturious and turned back to look at kyohen. "so now what are we going to do?"
2010DigitalBoy
"Why ya askin me?" Kyo snapped at Kierra, giving her an evil look, "personally I dont think any of this is necessary, were wasting time! We can obviously work as a group, thats how we killed the other monster, as for the voidstones.." he grasped his stone and felt its energy, "whats to stop the Wraithwind from devouring us while your holding our stones?" He asked. As he said it a tree dissapeared behind him, leaving a gaping hole in the ground. The others looked toward Arturos....

Daemos
Arturios smiled and grabbed his staff, thrusting it into the ground, the sizeable chunk of voidstone flared to life on its tip. and glowing a bright blue, the air around the group began to shimmer with the same blue glow. Soon the entire area was covered by a visible barrier of psionic energy, that rippled and arced from the wraithwinds around it. "thats how" arturios said simply. One by one arturios grabbed the amulets from their places on the ground next to him and held them up with one hand. in a matter of moments the voidstone began to crackle with energy, then with a flash of blue-green fire, the stone's viloent reaction ended and he began his work on the next stone. as he worked he turned to look at Kyohen. "I know you feel that we are wasting time, kyohen, but we have to wait till dawn for the other Golds to arrive anyway. I myself also wish to get there as fast as possible" Arturios sighed "Damn... she had better still be alive... Phaelos, "He looked at the sleeping symbiote and host, "if you sent her to her death her parrents will kill me." Arturios seemed to suddenly realize he had been talking out loud and notiiced the concerned looks of the group who were staring both at him and at the current amulet he was working on which was blazing with an increadably violent flame. With a burst of concentration the flame died out and Arturios waved of the questioning stares as he handed back the amulets and removed his staff from the ground, "its nothing, just forget it"
2010DigitalBoy
Kyohen glared at him andthought he was a freak. He looked over at Zaion and Kierra who were. of course, questioning Arturos on the meaning of his words. Kyohen felt sick. Another full night? Screw that, I wanna fight... Kyohen suddenly stood up, just as Arturos finished his voidstone clensing. He walked over and grabbed his voidstone and began to walk away. "Where do you think your going?" Jarod asked. "I'm gunna find some action, if anyone else is bored, come with me." Arturos glared at him with his eyes turning colors. sky
"Walking off isn't going to find you action and it certainly isn't going to teach you teamwork now is it?" Kierra said with a horable glare. Kyohen stared at her and turned back around. "She is right but I never wanted to say anything because I used to be a very quiet person." demonchild781
"Well I see that we're wasting our time. Soon it will be dark and there'll be no way we can practice in the dark. So much for us working as a team. We can't even agree on what we're doing." Shero shouted in frustration, walking away from the crowd to practice on her own. [Pointless. This whole thing is going to be pointless and we're all going to die.] Shero said to herself as she pulled her sword from her waist. She began to do simple stretching excerises with her weapon. Daemos
"ENOUGH!" Arturios bellowed "If you cannot learn to work together on and off the battlefield then you will all be Killed! and Darkness is no reason to not practice! do you honestly think your enemy's will give you the luxury of waiting for the sun? They are shadow creatures, they will attack you when they are strongest, AT NIGHT! Now all of you, tell me how would you fight this..." Arturios thrust his staff towards the carcass of the ogre the Gold had burned earlier. the bones glowed with a blue green aura and reasembled themselves into a full ogre skeleton. "There is your opponent, figure out how to defeat it, its psionic so your amulets will have no effect on it." arturios sat down on a rock and motioned his had towards another of the ogres, its spine twisted and warped into a bone rapier that the skeleton grabed from the air. "Well? what are you waiting for?" Arturios asked
2010DigitalBoy
"Well! its about time!" Kyohen screamed, then ran in and jumped, slashing at the huge creature, but when his blade hit, he was sent sprawling backward. "The point is that you work together." Arturos pointed out, then laughing he said, "you better hurry! Ive revived it with the order to kill you all!" The rest of the group looked back at him, like he was insane. He was insane. "Alright, we'll have to work together," Reaf said, drawing his blade. Jarod, Kamui, and Kyohen took off in a foreword sprint. Kierra and Reaf, drew bow and slingshot. Zaion and Shero came running in from the sides. Arturos smiled as they all started to attack. First, Kierra and Reaf started firing at the creatures head, as Jarod and Kyohen slashed at its front. Kamui slid under the creatures legs and began attacking the monster from behind. Zaion and Shero Quickly ran toward the distracted monster and used their best moves to bring the creature slowly to its knees it struuggled to attack as it was hit from all sides, as the fighters hit it. But they didn't look like they were working together. Arturos begin to increase the monsters power.
Cambrian_Explosion
The animated skeleton glowed brighter as Arturios poured more power into it. It rose to its full (and impressive) height, raised its bone sword, and swung at Zaion. She dodged, and Shero used the distraction to wedge her sword blade into the knee socket, trying to dislocate it. The ogre skeleton turned and reached for her with a glowing hand. Suddenly, an earsplitting CRACK exploded through the air. The skeleton's ulna cracked and a lead ball dropped to the ground. Reaf had run forward and gotten as close as he could to do that much damage. Unfortunately, it had little effect on the skeletal ogre, beyond a second's hesitation, in which Shero moved out of the psion-controled skeleton's reach. Then the ogre skeleton struck again, this time aiming at Reaf, who had gotten within its striking range. He dodged its overhand strike with the rapier, but failed to dodge its sweeping blow. Fortunately, he was caught by the flat of the bone blade, otherwise he would have been cut in half at the waist. He landed almost at the feet of Arturios. Reaf looked at the old psion, and asked, "I don't suppose knocking you out cold is the answer to this little puzzle you've given us?" His glare was answer enough.
Daemos
Arturios shook his head in distaste "This creature has a weakness... as do most "Undead" figure it out and its an easy kill... it wont die since its a puppet, but when i see you do what would normaly kill this thing as a team i'll dismantle it. so lets think everyone... what is the best way to kill an undead creature?" DemonsLover316
Jarod leapt back from his assault. He wondered why he had even charged the thing to begin with. He glanced at the others continuing their attack. He was sick of following their lead. Then he heard Arturios's comment. "Undead..." He ran through all the past encounters he's had... It was a skeleton...regardless of how big or powerful...it was a skeleton. Nothing but bones being held together by magic. And it was already dead. It was impossible to make it more dead...so... An idea came to him, and he let his voice ring out. "Stop attacking...will someone try to heal the damn thing!?!"
sky
"I could probable try."Kierra said. She took one of her arrows and got as close as possible without being in striking range and put some type of liquidy substance and shot.It went in and all of a sudden it started to grow skin. The prosess was a little disturbing at first but they all got used to it. "Now attack but be queik this stuff doesn't last very long."She said.
Daemos
Arturios smiled knowingly and watched as they attempted the use of healing magic... *their getting it at last...* he thought to himsel *... now lets see if the can figure out how to deliver the killing blow... lets slow the skeleton down for now* the hulking beast slowed and writhed in pain as the healing magic coursed through it
lil kitsune boy
He was whistling as he pulled a rope from his pack and tied it to his staff. Here's hoping it's slowed down enough. "Hey, guys, I need the strongest one and the fastest one out of you." he said. Running as he threw the staff like a spear through the skeletons rib cage, he slid under the creature and out to the other side. Rope still in hand, he ran around the other side of a tree. Cambrian_Explosion
Reaf watched in facination as the ogre was forcibly healed by Kierra. Not only was skin covering it, mucsles were growing and attaching to the bones and vital organs were expanding like balloons in the chest cavity. "Jarod, you're a genius," Reaf said. Jarod seemed a bit taken aback by the unexpected compliment from Reaf. But only for a moment. "It was obvious. Besides, we haven't won yet." As if to underscore his observation, the ogre thrashed around blindly, held in place by the roped staff, which had been covered by new skin. The rope held, as did the tree, but Reaf wasn't about to place odds that both would hold long. Besides, they still needed to kill it. Fortunately, Kamui had a plan. Zaion seemed to be busy, so Reaf hurried the the human's side when he called for the fastest group member.
2010DigitalBoy
*OOC*I just moved, so I couldnt post Kyohen stared at the huge beast in amazed. It was gross, but it still looked pretty neat. The growing skin was sickening, almost as much as the fact that Jarod was THAT much smarter than him. But then he heard Kamui say "Strongest" and instantly he made sure he was the only one rynning at the sound of the word. *OOC* sorry thats all I can think of

Cambrian_Explosion
Kamui explained his grand plan to the Cathsheen and the Elf. Reaf and Kyohen both found it disappointingly simple. Kyohen and Kamui would boost (throw) Reaf onto the ogre's back, and while Reaf distracted it, they would bring it to the ground. There, the whole group would help decapitate it. But since simple plans tend to have fewer snags, they agreed to it. All three rushed behind the huge ogre, who was having trouble, since he had tangled himself in the rope. Reaf half-hoped the stupid thing would trip before he had to clamber all over it, but it remained on its feet. The Human and Elf took their positions, linked hands to form a sort of launch pad, Reaf jumped on their hands, and between the forces of the two throwing him upwards and his second jump, Reaf landed on the ogre's upper back. Reaf scaled the ogre's back like an overly energetic monkey, stood on its shoulder, and when the ogre turned to look, he drove his spear into its eye. As it was "undead", it had little effect, but distracted the ogre long enough for Kamui and Kyohen to wrap another rope around its legs, pulling as it stepped, causing the ogre to fall flat on its face. Reaf jumped at the last second, landed in a roll to absorb most of the impact, then turned back towards the ogre to help decapitate it. The only reason they killed the puppet before it got to its feet, or the healing process reversed, was Jarod's mystical swords easily cut through the rock-like skin of the ogre. In other words, he did most of the decapitating.
sky
As they watched the ogre being brutally cut in half by Jarod they still felt the need to hit it with all they had. Finally the ogre was dead and it would not get up again. "Ok then I gess we are done here but we still have to get to the mines." So everyone went to sleep and the next morning when they woke up they found their rides waiting for them.Everyone took one of the dragons and got on their backs so they could get to the mines.
Daemos
Arturios leaned over from were he was perched on one of the older golds to speak to the hatchling and Phaelos as they prepared for the flight. "Phaelos, did she survive?" the symbiote looked surprised and looked away dully "I do not know my friend... She was in the ancient Ruins of the Ithilium mines when the attack began. about an hour into the fighting the Shadow-Kai Arrived and destroyed the entrance, she had not yet come out..." Arturios stared away into the distance with a look the group had never before seen on his face, shock. Phaelos looked at his old friend and siighed "She was your best pupil in the psionic arts, and a match for most of the ithilids at that, my friend, If anyone could survive, it is her." Arturios nodded and replied, "thank you my friend, but haste now is needed," He turned to the dragons with new resulve, "Come all of you, to the Mountain, and fly like the Shadow-kai are at your tails!!" with a flurry of wings the dragons took to the air and began the trip to Windbreaker
demonchild781
Shero sat comfortably on the neck, just above the large silver wings of her dragon mount. The beautiful and powerful silver dragon has swept away as soon as it landed that very morning. It was almost as if fate had placed them together. She looked into those large cloud-like eyes and was just overwhelmed with joy. Shero ran her hand across the perfectly crafted scales before bringing her head up to look across the sky. She could see the land below moving under them. It was almost nauseating. The warm air rushing over her body was a great sensation and the the warm scales under her made it complete. Shero turned her head to look at the others, each one riding their own majestic dragon. She almost wished that this dream-like ride would never end, but she knew it would. She pat the dragon's neck affectionately as Shero focused on the task at hand, grasping her amulet firmly.
Cambrian_Explosion
Reaf stared at the ground in facination as it zoomed past. We must be going extremely fast, since we're so high up yet we see the land pass below us in leaps and bounds, he thought. He looked at the golden dragon on which he was seated. All the metallic dragons were beautiful, yet he felt mysteriously attracted to this one in particular, which was why he had approached her. He suddenly thought of something else, and leaned forward to yell towards the dragon over the wind, "Hey, what's your name?" The dragon turned her head slightly to the side so he could see her calm blue eye, and said *Which one do you want?* Reaf wondered what she meant before realizing she meant the symbiote's name or the dragon's name. "The symbiote's name. I have a feeling that I'll absolutely butcher the dragon's name trying to pronounce it," he responded. *You're probably right on that count,* the dragon responded with a dragonish laugh. *My name is Diaga.* "Diaga. Pretty name. I'm Reaf."
