Guest Midnight Rush
Rhiannon looked up from her dark tome, and listened intent, She sensed the presence of another life, although coming silent. Beginning to draw the grid of her power, in tension Rhiannon waited. Sensing anti-magic closing around, she knew this threat was not long evaded. ?The hunter is here, I can run no longer.? She said, a darkness in her voice. ?Ye guilty, cast in the court of God, stand down. Death is no choice.? ?Maleus Maleficarum! I will not stand down! You will have no chance to fall!? ?Yours will be an end suitable, Rhiannon. Among the Ars Arcanae you were best of all.? Rhiannon began calling up her liege, Baphomet, from the depths, ?In persona aut nihil!? The hunter felt a titanic and powerfully evil force rising from abysses beneath the hill. ?A demon god? The great Rhiannon must summon to counter me. Pathetic.? ?Rhiannon, for what do you call me?? The Lord of Subversion roared acidic. ?The Maleus Maleficarum seeks to fall here tonight.? She said. Baphomet flared, casting his webs around, seeking the hunter. ?I will kill him dead.? The hunter leapt from the shadows, hurling his best dispel glyph to the demon unfound. Baphomet found him in that instant, too late to ward the glyph, became bound. Rhiannon was forced to redirect her channels to another power, throwing her balance. She went straight to the Lord of Lies himself, Satan. Quick directing was her talent. The hunter saw the she was redirecting and brought his full power up for killing. ?Maleus Maleficarum Ancilum!? the hunter cried, his whole soul willing. Rhiannon?s defense came too late, she could not avoid it unless she lied. ?The hammer falls?? She said, but her will to survive had not nearly died. She called on the un-truth, the twisted, and the ambiguous to give her speed. The power she called, it allowed her to evade, thus doing the deed. ?The lies cannot long protect you, the author of untruth is growing bored.? Rhiannon knew the hunter was right. She had no other source, no other lord. She had only her ex ultima, which served as the last defense. ?Serpens ululans capit lux ex ultima!? She cried, not dieing without sense. The hunter saw it coming, the un-light shaped as a serpent. He warded at the last. ?Serpens ululans capit lux ex nihilo!? She shrieked, barely controlling evil?s blast. The witch called the serpent and the hunter the hammer, both of them died. Cane Witch and First Seeker, neither told truth and she only lied.
