He was the greatest evil the digital world has ever known. His name was Mephistomon. Mephistomon managed to accomplish what none other ever has. At the hieght of his power, he had under his control the entirity of the digital world. Many sought to defeat Mephistomon, but he easily destroyed all challengers. Mephistomon was eventually defeated, but not by a courageous hero. He was defeated by treachery. His right-hand Digimon, Anubismon, took him by surprise and managed to destroy him. He did so not because of any desire to free the digital world, but because he wanted Mephistomon's power. None know what happened to Anubismon. Shortly after defeating Anubismon, he dissapeared. Neither one of them was ever seen or heard from again. Thousands of years passed. Truth became story, story became myth, myth became legend. But the truth endured, enscribed on a total of five tablets, each in the hands of a powerful and respected Digimon. Jijimon had one, Seraphimon was given the second, Magnadramon possessed the third, Goldramon the fourth, and Kerpymon the fifth. Goldramon was the first to go. What happened to Goldramon is unknown. All that is known is that his tablet vanished along with him. Jijimon went second, Kerpymon third, and Seraphimon fourth. Each one's tablet was missing, but none of their other possessions were. Magnadramon was the only tablet-holder left, and she feared for her life. Magnadramon had only one hope. Occasionally, humans would be chosen and brought to the digital world. It was their destiny to protect the digital world from those who sought to harm it. Magnadramon's hope was that humans would again be summoned to end what was, in her mind, a clear threat not only to her, but to the entire digital world.[/i] All right, here's how it works. You play as one of the Chosen, the humans with Digimon partners who are brought to the digital world (I don't like the term 'digidestined', so I'm using 'Chosen' instead). I'll also allow you to play as a Digimon without a human partner. If you do, you can be any level, although if you want to play as a Mega-level Digimon, you must PM me explaining why. If you have a good reason, I'll allow it. Ultimate or lower you can be without PMing me, although I reccommend you don't go lower than Ultimate (Digimon without human partners can't digivolve). Also, no made-up Digimon for Digimon without human partners (a human can have a made-up Digimon as a partner, though). As far as alignment, nobody is currently allowed to be a bad guy, although your character can become one as the RPG progresses. The reason for this is that if I allowed people to play as bad guys from the start, I'd have to reveal a good deal of my planned storyline, which would tuin a good bit of the RPG. So no bad guys now, but your character can become one later on. Sign-up time. There are seperate sign-up forms for Chosen and Digimon-only sign-ups. Here's the human-Digimon pair sign-up: Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Bio: Personallity: Digimon: Rookie-level Digivolution chain: Rookie to Mega. Provide appearance and attacks for all levels that are made-up Digimon Here's the Digimon-only sign-up: Name: What Digimon you are (Greymon, Andromon, etc. That's what I want here. Remember, no made-up Digimon can be without human partners) Level: Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, or Mega. Remember, if you want to be a Mega-level Digimon, you must PM me explaining why you want to. Bio: Personallity: Bio and Personallity are optional, because having them set limits character-development potential. He's very strange in that he's incredibly normal; which is strange nowadays. Bio: Brice isn't exactly much of a friend to digimon; he actually doesn't like them. He's actually a very bad partner for a digimon and probably, the most unlikely of people to ever have a digimon for a friend. Gammamon is different though, she's a bit on the strange side just like Brice though for the most part, like most digimon tend to, she doesn't like him at all. They're actually a bad team when it comes to getting along but a very good team when it comes to one thing; fighting. Those two have a fighting spirit, that once focused, can make them a very tough team to deal with. What makes him so great of a tamer is his determination; the guy just doesn't know when to give up. Gammamon, his digimon partner, has an identical personality though, Gammamon seems to think that Brice is crazy and doesn't know what he's doing half of the time. Digimon: Gammamon Digivolution chain: Gammamon (Rookie Level) -Appearance: Gammamon is a technological type of digimon so gear is nothing strange. She wears a pair of goggles on her head that are actually laser goggles useful for night vision though she doesn't really use them at all; they're a fashion statement more than anything. Gammamon is a penguin type as well, so think of a Penguinmon, only with metal claws and a pair of goggles plus, you have the long, blonde hair to add as well. A very funny looking digimon but don't underestimate her at all. Gammamon's fur is mostly blue except for her underbelly which is white. -Attacks: Piston Spike Saberimon (Champion Level) -Appearance: This is just a bigger version of Gammamon. No goggles though, just the same long, yellow hair and the claws are long and red, not at all as thick as they are when she's in her champion stage. She has put on a few pounds too and looks more of a bunny/penguin type of digimon. Think of a Penguinmon and Gargomon mixed together except no Gargo lasers, substitute those for claws. -Attacks: Northern Lights, Hurl Ball, Shovum Claw Aussuriamon (Ultimate) -Appearance: Now, Gammamon is one of those types of digimon who's going to look very different from her champion levels, VERY DIFFERENT. She takes on more a Kangaroo look now, everything about her has changed, and I mean EVERYTHING, right down to the fur color. She looks more like Renamon now. She has orange fur but the same long ears. She has a tight fitting, sleeveless tanktop on with the British flag on it, a pair of black jeans, black biker boots and a pair of gloves that have red, blue and white stripes coming through them. Yes, this is a very strange turn in digivolutions but there's a logical explanation for it. You know how Gatomon digivolves into Angewomon? That's completely unexpected isn't it? What's the chances in a nice digimon like Gammamon being able to digivolve into the half-evil Aussuriamon? Well, the drive for power is what does this. -Piston Shot, Thunder Dance, Cracker Jacker Hartimon (Mega) -Appearance: Very similiar to Aussuriamon. Hartimon is a more martial artist type of digimon. She wears a long sleeved, biker type of shirt with cuffs going up the sides of them, a pair of black pants but no shoes, only bare foot paws. Hartimon carries a weapon this time around, a large, Samurai sword but no sheath. When you see her, more than likely, you'll get that "Kill Bill" type of mood. -Attacks: Jet Blaze Sword, Split Screen, Spinning Slice That does it for me. I thought it'd be cool to make up some digimon instead of just using the digimon already existing. Hope the digimon aren't stupid or too powerful... Here's the list: 1: You seem to be assuming that the events of the show (S3, to be specific) have any bearing on this RPG. They do not, and unless an RPGs creator says that they do, it's normally assumed that they don't. What this affects in you sign-up is the card game. Unless otherwise specified, it is normally assumed that the real world has no knowledge of the digital world's existance. 2: I asked for a Rookie to Mega chain. Armon Digimon are not allowed in this RPG for the simple reason that there are no Digi-Eggs to Armor Digivolve with. 3: Unless otherwise mentioned, it is generally assumed that Biomerging is not allowed, and that's the case with this RPG. 4: Multiple Mega forms (or multiple forms of any level) are almost never allowed, and they aren't in this RPG. 5: 11 is a bit young. In most RPGs, the characters are somewhere between 15 and 21. You don't have to change the age, but I suggest that you do. Fix the problems I've pointed out. Oh, Arika, you're in.
