I was starting to think, that since Halo was such a popular game, why didn't anyone try to make an RPG out of it in Otakuboards? I mean, I haven't seen ONE attempt at it. I am going to put a lot of effort to make this Halo RPG a good one, so that I don't disgrace the game and be shunned forever.

Ever since the covenent have lost their war agianst Earth's defenses, they decided to start to train harder and make stronger troops as well, while Earth has been regrouping and making stronger troops as well. Earth has even trained troops under Master Chief, to have the best of troops. The armor was made after Master Chief's as well. Although, the Chief has said that he will only accept six troops at the most. He has been training with these troops for six months so far. Though, while in these six months, the covenent strengthened more then expected by themselves. In fact, the training was so effective, that now, Hunters are considered the lowest class in the covenent. Master Chief is on the Pillar of Autumn 2. He is training his troops in intergalactic fighting. "Hey! Keep that main gun steady there son. Don't want us all to die." yelled the Master Chief to one of his troops.
"Sorry sir."
"Yeah, you'll be sorry, with the rest of us, when the second Pillar of Autumn falls like the first one."
"Right, I'll do better"
"Watch out!" said Master Chief as a blast came unto the glass. Suddenly, there was only a black screen. "Nice work, we're all dead. Next time, I expect better."
Then the intercom came on.
"Master Chief. Master Chief!"
"What is it Cortana? I'm in the middle of training."
"Sorry sir, but I've detected a Covenent Battleship."
"What? The Covenent? It's been a while since we seen those basterds. I thought that this ship was ready for anything?"
"We thought so, but apparently, they have new ships that are much stronger." After this was said, a there was a great explosion.
"What the hell was that? Status report!"
"They've blown a hole in the bridge"
"DAMN IT! They're trying to take the second Pillar as well! Cortana, I'll be there to make sure that they don't intercept you."
"I'll try to route myself as close as I can to where you're at. There, I've put myself in the south port. You should have enough time to get there. But lets try to evacuate the other Marines as well."
"Right, I'll get to your position. Alright you six, it's time to show me if I did a good job in training. Go and help the others evacuate, I'll catch up after I grab Cortana." As the six troops split up from the Master Chief, they saw covenents that they hadn't heard of. Could the Covenent actually win this time?

Bio: Moses Signed up to be a Marine at 18 Years Old. Through the years, combat has taken a toll on both his life and his personality. Although as Cynical as they come, the men under him have come to respect him as a Leader and Outstanding Infantryman.

Personality: Turns every situation into a comical one, but can be serious when need be.

Bio: Jacks was pulled straight from his sniper training on earth and thrown into training with Master Chief. He picked his armor color to be teal because he felt it would give his fellow trainees something to laugh at. He had planned on switching colors when they returned to earth, but the covenant attack came before they could make it back.

You do realize that the Master Chief and the SPARTAN IIs weren't just enhanced by the suits, but by other biological modifications. Ah well...if I get to blow ******* up in the RP, then I'm in. XD

Appearance: Royal Blue
Personality: A fairly neutral guy, Sean only speaks when there's a reason to. Otherwise, he just shuts up and lets his actions speak for himself.

Bio: Sean first started his military career by joining the service at the age of 18. He made it through the hellish training regimen of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) and immediately was thrown into the grinder. He fought against rebels and dissenters during the first few months, before the Covenant showed up. Once they did, he fought on many planets, most of which got glassed by the Covenant sooner or later. After several commendations, both United Nations Space Command (UNSC) and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) saw the potential in this battle hardened soldier. He began cross-training in various weapony and vehicles. One instance, a week after he finished the training regimen for Longsword pilots, his training vessel was under attack by a Covenant carrier. After Terran reinforcements forced the enemy vessel to fight to the death, Sean was commended for shooting down six Banshees, making him an instant ace. By the age of 26, Sean was brought back to Earth for extensive training in the modified Mjolnir armor and the new weapons that both ONI and the Earth Arms Division churned out. He also ditched the MA5B Assault Rifle for the new Battle Rifle and also test drove the All-Terrain Vehicle. And lastly, he also got to begin training under the famous Master Chief, the last of the SPARTAN II's.

Well, I guess that sign ups are coming along pretty well. I have to admit though, it isn't what I expected. But hey, I guess everything never comes out the way we expect them to. I just need about three or four more sign ups and we could start the RPG. I think that this will be a REALLY good RPG. Well, I'm going to leave it at that.

PS: The reason that Master Chief isn't open to people, is that I will be posting as him.

This RPG could be really, really cool, and I hope we're playing by the Halo 2 rules, with dual weapons and whatnot, but I suppose that's true, because of the battle rifle and the fact that it takes place after Halo 2's supposed story. Also, Master Chief's name is John, just so you know.

Appearance: Dark Green
Personality: Aggressive almost to the point of being outright rash, he hates sitting around, waiting for something to happen. He wants to [I]make[/I] things happen. He can be erratic, but he is cunning and rarely loses his head in battle.
Style: Human/Covenant
Favored Weapons: Rapid-Fire pistol (Halo 2), Needler.
Favored Vehicle: Ghost or Phantom

Bio: Brett, like Master Chief, was born and bred to be a Spartan. He spent the early years of his life training to hone his eyesight and agility. When he was 17, he lied about his age and got into the marines serving at one of the outposts outside of Reach. At the age of 19, he fought as a captain on the war of Reach, but left with a platoon of marines when he heard earth was being attacked. He fought on earth , more namely, in the african colony of New Mombas. He was gravely wounded on the outskirts, and during his recovery, he was augmented with various biological modifications. He went back into the war in the final stages of the war, but did not claim glory for earth's victory. Then, when the Covenant began to mass their attack for a second strike, he was eager to leap back into the fray. He chose his color of armor to be dark green because it helped him blend into his surroundings when he fought on the outskirts of New Mombas.

Personality: Cold, steely, battle-hardened warrior-takes everything seriously. Can be slightly suicidal-seems to enjoy kamikaze missions

Favoured Vehicle: The good old Warthog

Bio: Steele was involved in the defence of Earth against Covenant forces. He joined the American Marines at the age of just 18, believing it to be more of a challenge than the British Military, and quickly rose through the ranks of the army, due to his service in New Mombas. He returned to his home in London to find that his entire neighbourhood had been destroyed in the Covenant attack, along with his family and friends. He now hates the Covenant even more, and will do anything to stop them. He was quickly chosen as a Master Chief trainee on account of his superior combat skills, both long-range and close. He will do everything in his power to destroy the Covenant once and for all.

Bio: Changed his name at an early age to mark his entry into the Spartan program. His methods of mayhem: evasive action, know your enemy, and surprise attack! Virtually a night soldier, prefers Covenant weapons because of their superior ability against their creators. Gets into any Banshee, pilot or no, and provides covering fire for ground forces. Never disobeys a direct order. Got the nickname Vesuvius because of a unique surprise attack on a Convenant outpost while hiding inside a dormant volcano.

BIO Edie is a marine captain, that means the guy who tells your support/cannon fauder what to do...

Edie joined the army when he was 19, he was placed in the "FOTP" Field Officers Training Program and the "ESUT" Eliet Sniper Unit Training. He has also been "Armor Certified" to drive Warthogs and Tanks.
Edie grew up in australia, lived a normal life, well, as normal as any boy could with the Covanant threat lurking around. His father was a Marine who died out on the first Halo. Edie joined the army at the age of 19, which was the standard thing to do. He showed promise in Boot as a leader and as a soldier, so he was put in FOTP and ESUT. After training he was put through the month long certifacation test to use heavy Ground Vehicals, such as the Warthog and Scorpion class Tank.
