Jaht Azularo sat down at his computer. One thing he liked about having the house to himself was that his parents weren't always yelling at him to get off of the computer. He didn't know when they'd be back. Neither did they, but they knew that it would be a while. jaht's parents were archeologists. They had met at a dig site some 22 years ago, and they still loved their work. They would frequently leave Jaht home alone for a long time. When he was younger, his would stay with his grandparents, but at 17, he was now old enough to look after himself.

Jaht connected to the Internet and downloaded his email. My parents are pretty damn wealthy, he thought, and can definatly afford a DSL. So why is our only connection to the Internet still a dial-up? This damn modem's older than the ruins they esplore.

When it was finished downloading the email, the computer made the 'beep' sound. Jaht looked up. Seven new messages. One was from his parents. They'd managed to get a few minutes at a computer with Internet access, and they'd used it to send him a message. He wrote a quick reply, saying that everything was fine, sent it, and turned his attention to the other messages.

Five of the remaining six messages were from the Washington Post. Ever since his parents had regestered on the Post's website and kept all the 'send me emails when something about this topic comes up' checked, the number of messages was about double what it was previously, and most of them were crap.

Jaht deleated those five messages, then looked at the last one. The sender was listed as 'NAI', and the title of the message was 'You are Needed". Jaht was curious, although he suspected that it was a virus. Fortunatly, his parents made sure to buy the bast antivirus software there was, so the computer was pretty safe. Jaht could read the message without worring about viruses.

A small bird-like creature walked into the room. Jaht had found Hawkmon two years ago. He was a little freaked out at first, but he'd gotten used to Hawkmon. Another hing that Jaht liked about his parents being gone was that he didn't have to hide Hawkmon. The Digimon could have the run of the house, as long as he made sure to hide if someone came to the door. "Online again?" he asked.

"Just to download email," Jaht replied.

"Anything interesting?"

"Well, there's a message from someone going by 'NAI'. It probably has a virus, but I'm opening it anyways." And he did.

You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.

"What the hell?" Jaht said. Just then, the screen flashed. "What the hell?" he repeated. It happened again, and then the screen started glowing. It wasn't a steady glow, however. It seemed to pulse. Jaht was about to turn the computer off when he noticed his Digivice. The Digivice had appeared about two minutes before Hawkmon had. Hawkmon knew that the Digivice connected the two of them. He'd said that right after he'd finished explaining the basics about how the digital world worked. The digivice was currently glowing, and pulsing. It's pulsing was synchronized with that of the computer screen.

Jaht grabbed the Digivice. The next thing he knew he was on his back in the middle of a forest. He sat up and looked around. He saw a lot of trees, and Hawkmon right next to him. "I've been here before," the Digimon said. "Right before I wound up in your yard. that light was a portal. We're in the digital world now, and at the exact same spot where the portal to your world appeared."

Jaht stood up. "Well, I don't know if this is real, but that really doesn't matter right now. Besides, I'm pretty sure you'r ereal, so why can't this place be?" He looked around, and noticed that there wasn't a portal. "Okay, so we're stuck here. Now what?"

----------------------------------------------------

OOC: In your first post, get your character to the digital world. You don't have to meet Jaht and Hawkmon right away, but we'll all be meeting up quickly. And so, here we go!

"What did you expect Mr. Youriyana? You slack off and you'll keep getting this poor grades. Very, very unbecoming..", Mrs. Tsugotia lectured as Brice had gotten yet another F on his English test. The kids in the class all laughed at him and rightfully so as he had bragged all week and claimed that he'd get an A on the test, yet, he hadn't. The desks were all facing the teacher and the room was small, so the sound of laughter in the cramped classroom was louder than it would've been if the classroom had been smaller. The bad part about all this was that Brice actually took the liberty and hard working task of studying all week for the test, yet he still failed and made a 25 on the test which is to say, that grade is extremely low. "Ah bummer, mom's gonna freak when she sees this...I can't survive another month of grounding. This would be the fifth month in the row. Wait...if she doesn't call mom, then I could just ditch the test", Brice thought to himself.

"Mr. Youriyana, you are the only one in this class that has failed the test and this is your fifth time. I suggest studying next time and I suggest tutoring. And don't think I won't call your mother because I'm making it a top priority. You should really try harder to get into your studies!?, Mrs. Tsugotia continued to criticize Brice. Brice looked at the big, fat F on the paper and he lowered his head in shame. Just then, something started to beep, almost like a stop watch only louder and with a longer ?pinging? sound and just guess who the sound was coming from; Brice of course. Mrs. Tsugotia had turned around to start writing more test scores on the chalkboard but snapped back in front of the class in a heartbeat to investigate the sound. Her eyes popped wide like an owl?s stare when she looked at Brice, ?MR. YOURIYANA! Cell phones are NOT allowed in class or at this school! Hand it over and you have detention!?, Mrs. Tsugotia snapped.

?Oh no! Not my digivice! I need it! Gotta find a stall, need a plan??, Brice thought to himself as he pulled the digivice out like the teacher asked as she quickly approached his desk, her black heels smacking down hard against the hard wood floor. Just then, it was 4:35 and since the bell rings exactly on time at this school, the bell tone blared loudly over the P.A. system. Then, Brice quickly gathered his things, got up and darted for the door, opened it and raced out. ?Mr. Youriyana! You come back here this instant!?, Mrs. Tsugotia commanded out loudly as Brice?s classmates left as well. ?Sorry Mrs. Tsugotia but now it?s officially the weekend and you aren?t the boss of me now!?, Brice said in an echo as he ran down the hallway and escaping the torture of Mrs. Tsugotia. Brice made a mad dash for his bike parked outside of the school and disconnected the Master Lock, then he mounted himself onto the bike and started pedaling away from the school as fast as he could before Mrs. Tsugotia could follow.

Brice went faster than Lance Armstrong on that bike as he switched the speed to 1st speed and made it go really, really fast. Brice piloted the bike with one hand as he pulled out his digivice and looked at it, ?Why did you go off? What are you trying to tell me? Where did you come from??, Brice thought to himself. He had found the digivice in his room next to his computer one day, just out of the blue and the screen on the digivice was glowing and if that seems weird, well, Gammamon showing up had to be the weirdest of all. Gammamon appeared on Brice?s doorstep on one rainy night, the same night that Brice had found his digivice and the same night that Brice first learned about Digimon. Gammamon was already home, still, Brice?s mom had no idea that a digimon was in her house because Brice was a master at keeping strange pets concealed plus, Gammamon was far too smart and could outwit Brice?s mom any day of the week.

Gammamon had explained how her and Brice had been one in a sense. She also explained the digivice, her power to do some attacks and the fact that Brice had to be special to get a digivice and to even see a digimon let alone have one for a friend. Brice and Gammamon, well, those two are about as much of friends as frogs and flies are; they really don?t like each other. Brice can?t stand Gammamon?s sarcasm and smart mouth and Gammamon can?t stand Brice?s arrogance and sometimes, his occasional lack of common sense.

Brice took the Shabuyi Cho district?s road to took a short cut home so that he could rush to see Gammamon; maybe she knew why his digivice was reacting like it was. Brice made it home in just a few minutes when normally it takes 30 minutes but since he was in a rush, he gave his bike a good workout. Brice dropped the bike in the front yard and rushed into the house. That wasn?t a short run, his mom was the CEO of the Shabuyi Cho Toyota automobile company so in fact, Brice?s mom had a lot of money but she wasn?t rich at all, nevertheless, she could afford a decently big house. Brice rushed upstairs and ran to his room. There was a note on his door with a thumb tact holding it on, Brice pulled the tact out and read the note:

Hey tiger, this is mom. Dinner?s in the oven. Meatloaf again! YAY!

Working late. I?ll be home at about 11:30. Call me honey because my cell phone is on.

Love,

Mommy

Brice smiled, he loved his mom and he appreciated her so much; after all, she was working so late so it was the least he could do. He opened his door to only get tackled by Gammamon, ?BRICE! What took ya so long bud bud?! Off being a dummy again??, Gammamon hollered as she sat on Brice?s chest, him being on the floor from the tackle. ?Get off me ya feather brained shrimp!?, Brice yelled. Yeah, that was pretty harsh to say to your own digimon partner but the fact is that Brice and Gammamon never quite got along. Gammamon got off him as Brice?s digivice roared to life again with that same, strange beeping sound. ?Tell me you can hear that too?, Brice said. ?Of course?tell me you can hear the same sound coming from your computer?, Gammamon said as she helped Brice up to his feet and with him staring at his Pavilion.

?What does it mean? Why is it happening? I hope it?s not spyware, I?m sick of it. I?ll have to go to Yahoo and download that toolbar so I can have a spyware blocker?, Brice gestured as he sat down in his rolling chair in front of the computer. It wasn?t on, it wasn?t even plugged up and yet, it was beeping loudly like there was some kind of error in the system. Brice?s digivice glowed again and he held it up to examine it some more as Gammamon walked up and stared at the digivice too but the same moment Brice lifted the digivice is the same exact moment that the computer screen came on. It was a white screen and then, words appeared:

You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.

?Huh? What is this? Some kinda wacky virus?!?, Brice thought to himself as all of sudden his room was illuminated with light from his computer screen. He looked for Gammamon but the moment he laid eyes on his partner, Gammamon got sucked into the computer screen, ?GAMMAMON! NO!?, Brice yelled out. He looked back to the screen to only see the words, ?GAMMAMON! NO!? and then a blinding light flashed in front of his eyes and then, the light blinded him for the time being, making everything go dark. Brice regained his vision and opened his eyes and looked around to only see that ?he wasn?t in Kansas anymore? like Dorothy; not to be taken literally as Brice is from Japan. He was in a strange new environment, it was a forest but different in that there were no bugs or birds to be seen; well, there are bugs and birds but they aren?t the ones anyone would want around their house or around PERIOD.

?Where the hell are we? Gammamon?! Buddy where are you?! Ah come on! Don?t do this to me! I?m sorry for calling you a shrimp!?, Brice yelled and then, looking around. Gammamon reached up and tapped him on the back, ?Look behind ya dummy?, Gammamon insulted. ?You had me scared ya shrimp! Don?t you ever do that again. You want me to have a heart attack?!?, Brice questioned. ?Well, you sure can?t have brain damage as there?s nothing to damage?, Gammamon continued to insult. ?Look, just shut up ok? Where are we? What?s going on here??, Brice asked, still looking around.

?Duh, we?re in the digital world. Don?t ask me why, I have no idea??

Storm sat in her room, she was sitting against her open window with her legs crossed, on top of her oak desk. She glared at the clear blue sky that she could see, and grumbled about there not being any wind or clouds. Storm was named 'Storm' for a few reasons; 1) She has a cold exterior and quick temper, 2) She loves storms, wind and rain, and 3) She had strange coloured eyes, they were a stormy blue-grey.

Storm flitted her eyes around the room, landing on her laptop. She reached out and grasped the cool metal in her hands, flipping the lid up and turning it on. She tapped her fingernails on sides as she waited for it to load. She looked around the table and spotted the cord she'd been looking for, picking it up and connecting it to the back of the laptop. Storm quickly typed the password and then clicked the Internet Explorer button. A window popped up and she went to the site where she checked her emails. She scanned the list of new emails, 4 out of 6 were Forwards from people that thought she was their friend. She deleted them and looked at the last two emails. One was Junk Mail, and the other was titled 'You Are Needed'. Taking it as another Junk Mail, she deleted them both. As she hit the delete button, her mother called from downstairs. Groaning she uncrossed her legs and slid off the well polished wood surface.

"Lucemon, Stay here." she said, talking to the Angel boy that was lying on her bed.

"I know, I know." he replied, looking at her, before going back to the book he was reading.

Storm shook her head and left her room, closing the door behind her. She walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"What?" she replied, expressing her boredom with her tone.

"I need you to go post this letter for me. Could you run? I need to get it there before the Postman picks up the mail, which is in 3 minutes." her mother said.

"Run? But you know I don't like running." she glared.

"Oh come on, everyone knows you're a good runner, just you don't want to." her mother replied, in her matter-of-fact tone.

"Fine!" Storm sighed, rolling her eyes.

"Two minutes."

Storm snatched the letter from her hand and put her shoes on quickly. Then she threw open the door and sprinted down the street. The Post Office was several blocks away, and usually took her ten minutes if she walked. Her chestnut brown hair ruffled in the wind as she ran, she really was a good runner, just she didn't like to for some reason. Not many knew that she was very athletic and did well in most sports, especially athletics and gymnastics. A bin was knocked over several metres in front of her and she vaulted it skilfully, not losing speed. She rounded corners and saw the Post Office, with the Postman unloading the letter box.

"Stop!" she called, speeding up and skidding to a stop in front of the stunned man.

Storm handed the man the letter, she wasn't panting or out of breath. She looked at him then sprinted back the way she came, wanting to get home and out of the hot weather. As she headed home, she thought about when she had first found Lucemon, four years ago. She had been sitting by her window, like usual, when there was a bright flash of light from her laptop, and a strange device had appeared in her lap. Then the angel boy had fallen through her window and introduced himself.

She arrived home in another few minutes and climbed back onto her table and picked up her laptop, refreshing the webpage. There was another email, titled 'You Are Needed' again. She looked at it and decided to open it, she had pretty good anti-virus programs anyway, in case it was a virus.

'You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.'
Then a bright light illuminated the room. Storm blinked several times, trying to remove the spots that filled her vision. When she could see properly again, Lucemon was beside her. She felt something moving and pulled something off her thigh pocket. Her digivice was vibrating quickly and was pulling her arm toward the laptop screen, as if something was magnetising it. When Storm resisted it got stronger until she couldn't stop herself and she began to get pulled in, Lucemon cried out and grasped her hand, pulling backwards, trying to help her. Then the pull got even stronger and it sucked them into the screen of her laptop, then her laptop disappeared.

Then before she knew it, she was in a forest. She still held her digivice and Lucemon still hung onto her wrist. She looked around and saw her laptop, for some strange reason, it was in a blue backpack, laptop carry case(Like Izzy's/Koushiro's). She picked it up and put it on. Then Storm saw a boy that looked like he was the same age as her with a small bird creature, she debated whether to call out to them or not, in the end she decided to.

"Hey! Do you know where we are?" she called out, walking toward them.

The boy and the bird creature turned around and faced her and Lucemon.

I don't know if I'm in or not, but I really wanted to post. If I'm not in, I'll delete this.

"Ms. Aurora," a female voice cried out, "I'm going to send you to the nurse's office if you don't wake up." Mika slightly fluttered open her eyes and looked toward the voice. A young woman with long black hair was standing in front of her. She had her arms crossed and her foot a tapping. A nervous look crossed Mika's face as she sprung into a stright position.

"I'm really sorry Mrs. Tomaki," Mika sais as she started to sweat, "I stayed up really late last night trying to get a report finished. It won't happen again, I promise." Mrs. Tomaki let out a sigh and turned back toward the blackboard. Mika let out a slight sigh of relieve.

"Next time I will send you to the nurse Ms. Aurora," Mrs. Tomaki said as she started to write something on the board, "and, believe me, you don't want to sent down there." Mika made a wierd face as she crossed her arms. She never really liked Math and Mrs. Tomaki didn't help it much. Luckily, it was the last period of the day and there was only about two mintutes left.

"Come on bell," Mika thought as the mintute hand moved to make a mintute left, "Get me outta here. I wanna end this freaking day. I'm being put through tourcher. Where's DemiDevimon when you need him?" Just as Mika finished her thought, the bell ring. Mika felt like screaming out "I'm Free", but decieded not too. That would just get her in trouble and make her stay in the cursed place longer.

"Remember to get some sleep Sunday night Ms. Aurora," Mrs. Tomaki yelled out the classroom door as Mika started racing down the hall, "and stop running down the hall!" Mika totally ignnored Mrs. Tomaki and kept running. She couldn't wait to get home. She felt way safer there then at school. At least DemiDevimon could keep her from boredom.

As Mika started running down the street, she remember when she first met DemiDevimon. She was only about thirteen and she was being bullied by some bullies. They wanted her Digivice, which she found earlier that morning, and she wasn't giving it up. Just as one of the bullies went to hit her, DemiDevimon flew in and attacked his hand. The thought of DemiDevimon being a bat made the bullies run away like dogs with their tails between their legs. Mika has been best buds with DemiDevimon ever since.

In a few mintutes, Mika was on her doorstep. She quickly opened the door and got flew into by DemiDevimon. He was hugging her face with his wings. A sweat drop appeared on the side of Mika's face.

"Mika," DemiDevimon hollered as he continued to hug Mika's face, "I missed you! Also, I think I broke your computer." Mika pulled DemiDevimon all her face and gave him a really stern look. DemiDevimon started to sweat.

Ok," Mika said as she stared into DemiDevimon's golden eyes, "show me!" DemiDevimon nodded and quickly started flying up the stairs. Mika shook her head and started following him.

Once in Mika's room, DemiDevimon landed on the chair in front of the computer. The screen was black, yet glowing. Mika looked confused as she sat down in the chair. DemiDevimon was just as confused as he perched himself on Mika's shoulder.

"What did you do," Mika questioned with a look of horror on her face. Just as DemiDevimon went to say something, white words started scrolling across the black screen. Mika and DemiDevimon both looked creeped out now. This was just getting freaker and freaker. Mika started to read the message.

You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.

Mika looked over at DemiDevimon with confusion. DemiDevimon shrugged his shoulders just as Mika's Digivice started beeping and vibrateing. Mika quickly grabbed it and looked at it. DemiDevimon looked at it to.

"What the hell is going on," Mika said as the computer screen started pulseing with a strange white light. DemiDevimon shook his head and hugged Mika's neck. He didn't want to get seperated from her if something did happened. Suddenly, everything got black.

"Mika," Demidevimon said as he sat on Mika's chest, "Wake up!" Mika moved her head side to side and opened her eyes. She quickly hugged DemiDevimon as she sat up. She thought she had lost him when everything blacked out.

"Oh DemiDevimon," Mika said as she continued to hug him. DemiDevimon wiggled out of Mika's grip and looked toward a forest. He somewhat happy.

"Mika," DemiDevimon said with glee, "I think we're in the Digital World. My home. You remember when I told you about everything and I mentioned this place." Mika nodded as she stood up. She then looked toward the forest as well.

"That's amazing," Mika said as DemiDevimon quickly flew to her shoulder and perched himself there, "I wonder if we're here alone." DemiDevimon shrugged his shoulders as Mika started walking toward the forest.

Hade Les sat in the park. He had has tracing pad and a pencil, and currently he was furiously drawing. If someone had been watching him from the time he had sat down, to the time that he had hunched over, they would have seen a blank paper suddenly filled with little black lines.

His one hobby, drawing, had been like second nature to him. Even at the earliest age, his first initial reaction to a crayon was to scribble. His scribbles quickly became shapes, and shapes became pictures. The funny part was, that his parents hated it. His parents were so focused on him being a lawyer like them; they didn't let him decide for himself. He hated it. It was like his say on things didn't matter.

Luckily for him, they were lawyers, so they worked long hours. That gave him ample opportunities to practice and hone his skills. He really enjoyed just sitting in the park and sketching kids at play. He also liked to sketch people walking. Most of the time his focus was on kids because they are such interesting models. They are so diverse and that called for many different hand strokes. Sometimes Hade just loved to sit and practice different hand strokes. Sketching was one of the few things that kept Hade from blowing up at his parents. Although they only saw the happy outspoken Hade, Hade did have a second nature. His emotions flew around him like bats, seeming so visible at some points.

The only other thing that kept him sane was Gotumon, or Rock for short. Rock was also a great model, sometimes coming up with really weird posses. Rock had a great sense of humor, and he loved to talk. Hade and Rock would stay up late just randomly chit-chatting about stuff. Hade was probably the most open with Rock, telling him everything that went on. Rock would always listen, making an off comment here and there. Hade also kept his darker side hidden from Rock, because he figured Rock would just leave, like everyone else.

Some nights, Hade would go out looking for trouble. He had been in many fights, winning about half of them. Every time he came back with bruises and black eyes. Rock never questioned, although he did give weird looks the next morning.

Hade put the finishing touches on his latest sketch and closed the pad. He slowly breathed in, savoring the fresh air. He quickly grabbed up his stuff and headed for home. His parents would be home, and expecting him to be studying. He slightly laughed at that thought. It seemed like he hadn?t studied for ages, but he still passed all classes with flying colors. It was actually kind of funny.

Hade started jogging, as he got closer to the house. FI they were home, they would think he went out for a run instead of a draw. As he came up to the house, he noticed a strange note on the door. He grabbed it and pushed the door open. As he walked to the table to sit and read the note, Rock came in. ?HEY! HADE! The computer is trying to talk to me.? He said throwing a lopsided grin at him.

?Yeah, sure, and Santa Claus just came down the chimney.? He said rolling his eyes.

?No seriously. It?s been beeping all morning.? He said grabbing Hade?s hand.

?All right I?ll check it out.? Hade said dropping the note on the table. The pair walked back to Hade?s room where they were indeed a flashing light and beeping noise. Hade moved the mouse and clicked on the E-Mail link. HE typed in his email and waited for the page. As he scrolled through his email, he noticed one form someone he had never heard of. The name was three letters NYH. Those didn?t ring any bells, so Hade did a virus scan on the email.

No Viruses Detected the mechanical voice said.

Hade let out a breath of air and clicked on the mail. Hade?s jaw dropped as he read the email.

You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.

Hade looked at Rock but he had no answers. Suddenly, Hade?s sock drawer started beeping and shaking. ?My digivice.? Hade said getting up and grabbing it. He then sat back down at the computer. A bright light emitted from the screen, and then all Hade saw was black.

?HADE! WAKE UP!? A voice shouted.

?Ugh, what mom?? Hade asked still groggy.

?I?M HOME HADE! WE?RE IN THE DIGITAL WORLD!? Rock yelled as he ran in circles.

?This isn?t like you Rock.? Hade said sitting up.

?I?m so excited to be home, I don?t care.? Rock said stopping.

?So you think I?m the only one?? Hade asked standing up.

?Not at all.? Rock said pulling him to the right. ?I think I heard voices this way.?

?Alright, but you better know where were going.? Hade said, allowing Rock to pull him along.

"All I know is that we're in the digital world," Jaht said to the girl. "My name's Jaht, and this is Hawkmon."

"I'm Storm, and this is Lucemon."

"How did you get here?" Jaht asked.

"I got a strange email. I read it, and then I was here."

"That's pretty much what happened to me," Jaht said. He turned to Hawkmon. "This is your world we're in. Any idea why we're here?"

"Well," Hawkmon replied, "Humans are said to be brougt here only when there is danger to this world. That's certainly how it works in the legends, and there are those who claim to have actually seen humans in this world. Of course, that may not have any relevance to our current situation."

"Well, that really doesn't matter right now, anyways," Jaht said. "If Storm and I were brought here, others probably also were. We should look for others. We need food and water, too."

"Pragmatic as always," Hawkmon remarked. "Still, you do have a point. Let's get going, then."

"Gammamon, how long have we been walking?", Brice asked as him and his bird-like companion treaded through the long and seemingly endless forest. "Approximately?45 minutes and 28 seconds, no wait, 45 minutes and 29 seconds?no wait??, Gammamon said, trying to be smart and aggravating. ?Just can it ok it??, Brice asked as he looked at a tree and his eyes popped open; they weren?t going to get out of this forest anytime soon. ?That?s the same tree I saw when we first got here!?we?re going in CIRCLES! How can that be? We?ve been going straight the whole time!?, Brice yelled in disbelief as he pulled on his hair in frustration. ?Well, actually?you were the one who bore off to the left slightly thus, each time you did it, you kept going to the left, therefore, you were going in a big, fat circle?, Gammamon explained.

?Why didn?t you say anything?!?, Brice questioned. ?Because, I wanted you to be the blame for getting us lost?so far, my plot has worked?, Gammamon said. ?Now, if you?ll excuse me, I have a better idea. Surely, if you?re here then there?s just bound to be more of your kind because the only real way humans show up in the digital world is only when they?re needed. Surely, you?re not the only human here?I?d bet my bottom beak on it?, Gammamon informed as he brought down her laser goggles and scanned the forest for heat signatures. ?And Bingo was his name-O!?, Gammamon yelled out as she spotted two human heat signatures and two digimon as well. ?Really?! You found someone??, Brice asked, getting excited. ?Yes dummy, now follow me!?, Gammamon insulted as she took off through the forest, faster than what Brice could follow thus leaving him behind a little.

Gammamon made it to Jaht, Hawkmon, Storm and Lucemon before Brice could ever make it halfway there. ?HELLO!?, Gammamon greeted the chosen with excitement. Finally, the slowpoke Brice finally made it there, huffing from exhaustation. ?Stupid bird brain! I told you to slow down?, Brice insulted. ?Oh, don?t mind him?I think he?s the missing link between the humans and the apes. Lets just say the change in your pocket could amount to more than his brain cell count?, Gammamon retaliated.

Sitting in front of her computer, with nothing else to do, Angel thought she would check her e-mail for the 3rd time that day. Labramon sighed as he came into the room and jumped onto her bed with Angel's dad right behind. He knew Labramon wasn't an ordinary dog and that he wasn't of this world. He knew, because he had a digimon as well.

Within that house, the only ones that lived there were Labramon, Angel's Dad, and herself. It used to be Angel's younger twin sister, Alexa, and her mother, but her parents divorced and gave the children a choice to live with either parent. Alexa chose her mother and Angel chose her father. It was hard to see her family leave each other, but it had to be that way. Her father stood in the doorway, knowing that Angel was regaining memories.

"Angel, are you hungry?"

With a shake of her head, he left and Labramon sat up. Angel had heard the mail tone and opened a new window. She had recieved two new mail. One from her sister and one from an Anonymous person. She quickly read through her sister's and replied back. The next e-mail was strange. It's message saying:

You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.

"Wait...what light?"

At the exact moment, a bright light bursted from the monitor and connected with the digivice that was on Angel's desk. Labramon jumped down from bed and began to growl. Angel reached for the digivice and could feel a strong pull on her. She resisted and the pull only became stronger. Labramon could see Angel beginning to get sucked into the light. He grabbed hold of her and yet the pull was too strong and pulled them both in.

Labramon landed on his feet, but Angel fell on someone. She looked into the eyes of a boy and when she did, she blinked a few times before suddenly standing up.

SPLASH!

It was late evenning and Ari had snuck into the school's pool after everyone had already gone home. It wasn't that she was any sort of thrill seeker or anything, she just didn't like to be around other people and after hours was the perfect time to be alone by the pool. The only thing was, she wasn't exactly alone.

"Come on, Ari, the water's perfect!" shouted a small, white creature from the water.

"Your supposed to be quiet. Remember, Gomamon," she responded back.

"Sorry," he said,"I'll be good." Ari smiled at her digimon friend, as he swam laps back and forth across the pool. As she did, she began to remenese of when she first met Gomamon.

It was cold and stormy, the day of her parents' funaral. She was still standing at their grave once everyone else had left. It was then that Ari heard a splashing coming from a nearby pond. Currious, yet still in a bit of a daze, she approached the pond to find a bunch of geese attacking somesort of unconcous, water-logged animal. Ari quickly came to her senses and chased the geese off. She had always held a strong desire to help animals, but this time she felt an almost personal connection. She picked him up, wrapped him in her coat and made her way home.

Ari had always found it strange that once she had nursed Gomamon back to health and started to converse with her, she was never really frightened by the fact that he could talk. It was also that evenning that she had found her digivice on her desk, next to her laptop.

Just then she was brought out of her revere by a splash of cold water. "You awake now?" Gomamon asked, laughing.

"Sorry, Gomamon. Just thinking about the past." Just then, her laptop, which she had brought along to do some homework, began to beep furiously on the table behind her. "I thought I turned that thing off," Ari thought to herself. She opened the cover to reavle her e-mail display page. She only had one e-mail from an anonnamous sender.

"What's with your computer?" Gomamon asked, as he climbed out of the pool and crawled towards her.

"I dunno," she said, "I got this strange e-mail. I don't know whether I should open it or not. Might be a virus or something."

"Didn't you tell me that you upgraded your protection software a few days ago? Why don't you just open it and find out?"

"Easy for you to say. You don't have to shell out a ton of money to fix it if it breaks. But your right about the upgrade." Ari double clicked the e-mail. The screen went blank then read a single message:
You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.

Suddenly, Ari felt a strong pull towards the computer screen. Her digivice began to vibrate and beep even louder than the computer had a few minutes earlier. "Ari, hold on!" shouted Gomamon. Just as she grabbed onto one of his clawed fins just as the two of them were pulled through.

Ari awoke in a daze, in the middle of a clearing. "Oh, good! Your finally awake."

"Gomamon..." she mumbled, trying to sit up, "Where are we?"

"We're in the Digital World!"

OOC: Neuvoxetere, if you weren't talking about me, then I'll change my post. ;)

Hade had been walking around aimlessly enough. Rock had known pretty much where he was going, and Hade had nothing better to do. At one point, grabbing Rock's hand, he stopped and looked at what he had on. His shirt had a rough sketch of a rabbit and was white. His pants were cargo, and green. HE grabbed at his face and saw that he had glasses, not contacts. He stuck his lower lip and gnaws at it for a second.

"Rock, what kind of shirt was I wearing when we left?" Hade asked, still nibbling at his lip.

Rock shot him a stupidity look and said "Two questions. Why and Why does it matter?"

"Well, I think I changed clothes." Hade replied trying to keep a civil tongue.

"Aww, I'm sorry." Rock said smiling.

"No big." Hade said pausing. "Did you hear something?"

"Nope, let's keep going before the voices leave!" Rock said tugging at Hade's arm.

"Hold on." Hade said taking a step to the left. Suddenly there was a bright flash, and the next thing Hade knew, he was on the floor with a girl on top of him. Hade wasn't usually shy around girls, but for some reason his voice had a stutter. "Well, you, you certainly know how to make an entrance." Hade said turning red.

"And what's it to you exactly?" she asked dusting off her pants.

"Well, it seems like you and I are the only humans here right now." Hade replied adding a curt tone to the remark.

"Well, not like it matters, but I'm Angel and this is Labramon." she said tossing her hair behind her shoulder.

"Well I'm Hade and this is Rock." Hade said standing up.

"Yeah, Whatever." Angel said turning towards the path.

"You know where you?re going?" Hade asked cleaning his glasses on his shirt.

"No, but I don't suppose you do." Angel said turning her gaze to Hade.

"True, but I guess a lost group is a bit better than a lost individual." Hade said, checking himself for dust.

"Fine, but don't expect this to make us friends." Angel said heading towards the patch of forest.

"Well, for starters, Rock heard voices from the other direction, so I figure that's our best route." Hade said starting on his way.

"I hope Rock knows where he's going." Angel said curtly.

Hade closed his mouth instead of saying something back. He figured some company as better than none.

"Man," Mika grummpled as she slightly pulled on her hair, "I'm tired of walking. Can't you turn into a bigger creature and carry me instead of me carrying you for once.." DemiDevimon slightly looked at Mika from her shoulder. He then let out a slight sigh.

"If I could do that," DemiDevimon said as he closed his eyes, "don't you think I would have already done so?" Mika looked over at DemiDevimon with an annoyed look.

"Not really," Mika said as she stopped dead in her tracks, "Now, where in the Digital World are we?" Demidevimon cleared his throat and fluttered off Mika's shoulder. He then quickly flew above the tree tops. Mika put a hand above her eyes and looked up. The tree were slightly swaying from the slight breeze. Mika thought it felt really good.

"Hey," DemiDevimon said as he started flying back down, "there's a group of kids walking on the outside of the forest. There's two boys, a girl, a Hawkmon, a Lucemon, and I think a Gammamon. I think we should go join up with them." Mika nodded and caught DemiDevimon as he went dropped toward her arms. She then started running toward the edge of the forest. At least she wouldn't be alone anymore.

In a few mintutes, Mika emarged out of the forest and slammed into something. She opened her eyes as she was falling. She came eye to eye with a blue haired boy with slate colored eyes. DemiDevimon slightly gronned from in between Mika and the boy.

"I'm sorry," Mika said as she jumped up and turned bright red, "Hi, my name is Mika, what's yours?" The boy sat up and picked DemiDevimon off his chest. He then stood up, walked over to Mika, and handed DemiDevimon to her.

"I think this belongs to you," the boy said with a slight smile, "and the name's Brice. It's nice to meet you." Mika nodded as DemiDevimon slightly shook his head. His partner had some major issues.

"I'm Storm," the girl said as Lucemon floated near her, "and this is Lucemon." Mika slightly nodded and smiled. She then looked at the other boy.

"I'm Jaht," the boy said as he crossed his arms, "and this is Hawkmon." Mika nodded once again. She then looked down at Gammamon. She was quickly tapping her foot. Both Mika and DemiDevimon started to sweat.

"That's all great," Gammamon said with impatcients, "but can we get a move on?" Brice shook his head as Mika and DemiDevimon smiled nervously. Jaht turned around and suddenly started walking. Storm and Lucemon quickly followed. Brice and Mika quickly started running after him as well. Gammamon was grummpling something as she tried to catch up.

Akira sat down slowly at his computer, with Flamon staring over his shoulder. He signed in to his favorite instant messenger, set his Busy status then started to play his favorite computer game. Flamon hopped up onto his head to get a better view as he started.

"Ha!" said Flamon. "I could get a score three times better than that."

"Yeah," Akira shot back, "because it's all you do while I'm at school-"

Suddenly, a message popped up saying: You have recieved a new email message from NYH.

"Huh?" Akira said slowly as he opened the message.

"Re: You are needed"

'You have been chosen. Your help is needed. The light will guide you to me. You must come now. I do not know how much time I have left.'

"What-" Flamon started, but a blinding glare washed over them from the screen.

Akira slowly opened his eyes. He had been thrown outside. He sat up wildly and looked around...

Wait a minute, he thought. This ain't outdoors.

He was sitting next to Flamon in the middle of a field. In the distance he could see some kids getting steadily closer. They sped up when they saw him.

"Akira- This is the Digital World!" Flamon shouted suddenly.
"What?!"

"Stupid Brice, always getting me into trouble...I always have to bail him out, lead him around the digital world now look, we're stuck with some weirdo strangers. I should've stayed in bed, maybe all this wouldn't have happened...why do I always have to go through the crazy trains in life? Where's that Superman when you need him?", Gammamon mumbled, being angry. She didn't exactly trust anyone, not Storm, Lucemon, Mika, Jaht, well, lets just say it?s very tough to get her to trust anybody; she has been double crossed a lot so it?s understandable if she?s is this way. Gammamon folded her arms and started to pout and boy, when she pouts, SHE POUTS, it drove Brice crazy and so it?s pretty safe to say that it?d drive everyone else crazy. ?ARE WE THERE YET?!?, Gammamon questioned out loud, being a grumpy little penguin. ?Gammamon, can it, stop, cease. Boy, you?re always acting like this, are you ever happy??, Brice asked, being annoyed. ?I don?t know Brice?are you ever smart??, Gammamon retaliated.

Brice sighed as he thought it to be pointless to try to reason with his digimon partner, ?You?re hopeless Gammamon, you know that? I mean, all you do is complain and complain and nag and nag. Goodness gracious, do you have an OFF button??, Brice asked. Gammamon didn?t reply as she turned her head and stuck his nose in the air, still taking small steps; she wasn?t that fast with her short and stubby body. ?Don?t mind her, she?s just grumpy because she doesn?t know how to find her village and she wants to go home so badly and all?, Brice explained to the others. ?SHUT UP BRICE! At least I know how to spell village!?, Gammamon insulted, being angry because she had to leave home. ?Ok ok?I?m sorry, just calm down okay??, Brice asked as he gave Gammamon a few pets on the head.

?So, lets have it. I wanna know your names and where you guys come from. My name is Brice Youriyana, I?m from Japan?that's Gammamon. Don't insult her or you'll be asking for trouble...she's like a pit bull sometimes?, Brice informed. "And your brain is like deep space Brice! It's often EMPTY!", Gammamon insulted. Yeah, it was obvious this relationship would more than likely never work out. Why had someone issued Gammamon as a partner to Brice if they already knew they weren't going to get along at all?

OOC: It doesn't matter, but for future references, Angel doesn't talk or act like a stuck-up, the-world-revolves-around-me, bratty princess. She's an hardcore, independent, distant, and dark fighter who cares for no one in the world except for her family and Labramon. But remember, that's just for future references. And this goes for everyone. *So sorry..but..I have to say it.*
----------------------------------

Following Rock and the boy, Angel knew Labramon could've seeked out any other human within a snap of her finger, but snice she didn't trust the two, she merely followed along. Waiting to see what was in store. Labramon did the same as well. Angel folded her arms and stopped, while Labramon stood on his hind legs and sniffed the air. The two could feel movement back where they were at.

"Stop. The path we follow does not consist of friend or foe. We merely follow a trodden path that was lain here long before. The scent leads back that way."

Confused from the words that Angel spoke, Rock and Hade merely decided to follow the two. Angel reached into her pocket and pulled out her own home made customized electronic that consisted of becoming nearly every modern, hand-held electronic that was on the market or soon-to-be. It was a miracle that it worked in the Digital World. Labramon stopped and Angel suddenly followed suit, letting one of her earphones drop.

Growls came from Labramon as he stared into the eyes of the four other digimon before him. Right behind Angel and Labramon was Rock and Hade. Pants came from them, yet they noticed the group in front. Gammamon seemed to become agitated and returned the growls. Hawkmon, Lucemon, and Demidevimon seemed to be unaffected by Labramon's threatening growls. A boy came forward, he was about the same age as herself.

"Labramon, stand down. We mean you no harm."

Nodding, Hawkmon and the others, except Gammamon, stood down as well. Labramon sat on his hind legs and looked to each digimon and human. "Neither do we."

"Good. Then we all agree. Well, then. I'll leave him to you and be on my way. I bid you farewell. May we meet again."

Labramon looked to Angel as she stuck the other ear piece into her ear and walked off, until Gammamon stopped her. Angel looked back, as did Labramon, and the two stood there. Gammamon turned to them and seemed to clench her fists a bit.

"I challenge you to a battle!"

"We have no time for petty fights. Please excuse us and let us be on our way."

That was the first time anyone had ever heard Labramon speak. It was a resonating sound, similar to that of a bell. Clear and unbreaking, never rivoting. It was the way he was, like the shadows that crossed the earth. Gammamon couldn't stand it, but her human held her back. The others watched Labramon and Angel walk away. The boy that spoke to her knew that they would soon cross each others' paths, either as enemies or as allies. But only time could tell.

"We're WHERE?!" Ari asked in amazment.

"The Digital World," repeated Gomamon, "Remember, I told you this is where I'm from."

"Yeah, I remember," said Ari, getting to her feet. "So, do you know where we are in this world?"

"Uh..." Gomamon hesitated. "I have no idea," he said, sheepishly, putting one clawed fin behind his head.

"Well, guess we have no choice but to explore the area," suggested Ari, and with that, the two of them started off towards the woods. As they walked among the trees, she began to get currious about this strange, new world. "So I guess you lived near the water. I mean, they do have oceans and other large water bodies here, right?"

"Yeah, the oceans are so beautiful here. I hope there's one nearby. I really want you to see it. Maybe you'll even get to meet some of my friends." Gomamon was as excited as a child at christmas. Ari simply smilled down at him.

"You're really excited about being home, aren't ya?" Gomamon just giggled. I wander if I'm the only human here. She thought to herself. Even if I am the only one here, I guess it won't be too bad. Just think, being in a world like this, full of peace and unspoiled; this is paradise.

"What's that?" asked Gomamon, pulling her out of yet another daydream.

"I dunno." As Ari listened, she could hear voices in the distance. "I think there may be other people here, afterall," she said to herself. She began to follow the voices, curious as to whether or not there were other people here. Gomamon followed close behind. She finally reemerged from the woods to another clearing. There she saw three guys and two girls, who each, like her, seemed to have their own digimon partner. She looked towards the other side of the clearing where she could see a third girl with a dog-like digimon walking off.

As she looked at the other teens, her face wasn't lit up with excitement, rather, it held a look of disapointment and fear. "Let's go, Gomamon," she said with a depressed tone. Just as she was about the reenter the forest, Ari heard a voice from behind.

"Wait! Don't go!"

OOC: Hiei23, please delete your post. Oh, JoyKaiba, I know what question you'll ask when our Digimon reach the Champion level (you always ask it), and the answer is yes.

-----------------------------------------------

"Pretty large group here," Jaht remarked.

"I wonder if there are any others," Hawkmon said.

"Personally," Jaht replied, "I don't think that there are too many more of us, if there even are any others. I mean, you've all shown up in a period of a few minutes. This can't keep going on forever."

"Um, Jaht?"

"What, Hawkmon?"

The Digimon pointed to the east. "Someone's coming."

Everyone turned to look. There was something there, and it was moving fast. Fast, and in their direction. Angel and Labramon could be seen halting. Oviously, they also saw it. They even moved towards the group, though they didn't get very close.

"What is it?" Storm asked?

"Like I know?" Jaht replied. "Ask one of the Digimon. They're more likely to know than we are."

"Well, I don't know," Hawkmon said.

"Neither do I," Lucemon put in, "but we'll find out soon enough."

"Is it friend or foe?" Brice asked.

Hawkmon looked at him. "That is certianly the most important question."

"Brice said something intelligent?!"

"Shut up, Gammamon!" exclaimed Jaht, Hawkmon and Brice simultaniously. "Jesus," Jaht continued. "I've only known that thing for something like a minute, and I already hate her. Brice, how the hell do you put up with her?"

"Now isn't exactly the best time for this," Hade interjected. "There is a potential enemy approaching."

"He has a point," Rock said.

Jaht nodded. "Agreed. We can bicker later."

As it drew closer, Hawkmon was able to identify it. "That's Magnadramon!"

Upon hearing that, Angel and Labramon moved a bit closer.

"Who?" Brice asked.

"There's the Brice I know."

"Shove it, Gammamon," Hawkmon responded. "Now, Magnadramon is most well-known as one of the five tablet-holders. Remember when I told you that story, Jaht? About Mephistomon?"

"Yes. Mephistomon took over, his flunkie, Anubismon, took him out to aquire his power, and neither were ever seen or heard from again. There are five tablets that have the true version of that story on them, and each is owned by a different Digimon. Or something like that."

"That's the super-short synopsis version," Hawkmon said. "Anyways, Magnadramon has one of the tablets. What she would want with us, I don't know, but I think we're about to find out."

Hawkmon was correct. Magnadramon stopped and hovered in front of the group. "Greetings, Chosen," she said. She turned to Angel and Labramon, still seperate from the group. "You two belong with them. Come."

Angel and Labramon moved closer, but still stood apart from the others. Magnadramon waited until they stopped, then spoke. "I am Magnadramon, and I am the one who called you here. I know you must have many questions, and I hope I can answer some of them, but ths is not the time or the place to talk. We are not safe here. Come with me. I will take you to a safe place. There, I will do my best to answer any questions you may have."

"How do we know we can trust you?" Angel asked.

Hawkmon gave Angel a 'look'. "Of course we can trust her! We're talking about Magnadramon here, not just some random Digimon! There's nobody more trustworthy than her!"

"Let's go, already," Jaht said.

"Impaitient as usual," Hawkmon remarked. "Still, I am anxious to hear what she has to say. Lead on, Magnadramon."

Gammamon wasn?t the least impressed with Magnadramon, to be truthful, Gammamon wanted to laugh at the powerful digimon; to say to the least, Gammamon was just too arrogant and annoying. Though, digimon tended to be a direct reflection of their human partner so if the Chosen crowd could stand Brice then there was no reason they couldn?t stand Gammamon; Brice was worse as he?d prove.

?So you?re the great Magnadramon? BIG WOOP! I expected something more?a guy like Orlando Bloom or maybe even Brad Pitt?Brad?Pitt?HOT HOT HOT! That man can pluck my feathers any day of the week?, Gammamon said as she started to drool over the famous actor.

?Gammamon?for the benefit of poor Magnadramon, for the benefit of me and the rest of the humans, the digimon and for the love of goodness?SHUT UP!?, Brice yelled out as Gammamon folded her arms and thanks be to goodness that she finally decided to shut her yap. Brice saw Angel again and sped up, walking next to her.

?Nice day isn?t it? Yeah, really, really nice day indeed?not nicer looking than you though?, Brice complimented. Yeah, he was one lame guy but you can?t blame him for trying. After all, he only had Gammamon to practice flirting with and she always told him that he didn?t have a chance at any girl; when you?re told that you?ll only fail, well, your performance will reflect that.

Gammamon walked next to Angel and Labramon and nudged at Angel?s leg. ?If you know what?s good for you, you?ll run for your life. Trust me, there?s 4 year olds who?re more attractive than that guy. Really and he has bad breathe though I don?t think I need to tell you that; you can smell the crap for yourself. He?s not so bad, he?s just an idiot. If you can teach him how to count past 10 I?d be more than grateful, well, if can show him how to count past 3 I?d be just as happy?, Gammamon said, being extremely harsh. She just had strong opinions, if she doesn?t like someone, oh yeah, she?ll tell them about it.

?GAMMAMON! Shut your stupid beak before I shove my fist up your pie hole!?, Brice yelled as his partner.

?And he has a bad temper plus he threatened to harm a female?very unbecoming. Just think, if you get him mad he?d even try to strike you. You don?t want to end up like that human Tina Turner do you? Come on Ike, leave the girl alone??, Gammamon continued to insult. Like her or not, the digimon was good at getting under people?s skin which wasn?t always a bad quality; it could be used in helping in battle.

Brice pulled on his hair, no matter what, he can?t shut up Gammamon. He gave out a sigh. ?She hates me?she always does this to me when I see a pretty girl. She thinks I?m a dummy and I don?t even know why?, Brice explained.

?Well, lets see?you fail more spelling tests with your stupidity. Hmm?you suck in math, history class, don?t make me laugh and you?re the class clown plus you can?t even lift a 10 pound weight without looking like a wuss. But I guess you are a stud and I should really give you some respect?.HA HA HA! Like that?ll ever happen. I don?t know how I get bummed off such a pathetic partner. I mean, come on, what happened? The good humans got taken by other digimon?! Why do I always get the worse pickings in life?!?, Gammamon whined on.

?SILENCE! Your infernal talking is about to drive me crazy! SHUT UP! BE QUIET! You say another word and I?ll make you sorry for it!?, Magnadramon had finally heard enough as Gammamon lowered her head, not wanting to piss the strong digimon off.

Brice smiled and looked back to Angel. ?I see why everyone likes this guy?.anyways?what?s your name??, Brice asked; he had a rather short memory span.

OOC: Here's something about my character. Storm isn't all friendly and happy happy joy joy, she's mean and cold, that's why she's named Storm, beside her eye colour. Just letting people know for future reference, in case anyone didn't read her personality in the Recruitment Thread. You'll understand more in this post.
Sorry I didn't post, even though I'm on Term break, I haven't been able to get online.
Oh Garelock, if you want anything changed, PM me, k?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Angel rolled her eyes. "My name's Angel." she answered.

Storm and Lucemon walked around the middle of their large group, they heard Brice's question, and Angel's reply. Storm snorted and rolled her eyes herself.

"Remind me why we called out to Jaht in the first place?" she asked her digimon.

"Because we wanted to know what happened, and unfortunately it seems a lot of other people want to know the same." Lucemon sighed.

Storm dug her hands in her pants pockets and kicked a pebble on the path they were walking on, watching it lift off the ground, go a little distance, land, and roll. She heard quick footsteps approaching but didn't bother looking, she could tell by the loud and obnoxious voice of Brice's digimon.

"Hiya, I think we were introduced but what's your name again?" he asked.

Storm didn't answer but continued walking. He continued to walk the same pace as her.

"Hey, I just want to know your name." Brice said, resting a hand on her shoulder.

Storm turned to Brice, her blue-grey eyes flashing with anger.

"Don't touch me!" she growled, doing a backflip to get away from him.

"I'm not friends with anyone here but Lucemon, especially not you, so leave me alone." she said coldly, her eyes turning icy blue.

"Hey! Back off!" Gammamon yelled, getting in front of Brice in defense.

"Don't even go there, Gammamon." Lucemon said getting in front of Storm.

Everyone turned to look at them curiously. Storm glared at them, they watched for a brief moment longer before going back to what they were doing.

She then turned her icy gaze to Brice, glared at him, "Let's go Lucemon." she said.

He gulped as she turned away, walking off.

"You shouldn't have done that Lucemon." she said quietly.

"Yes I should have, you're my partner, and we're each others only friends. Besides, you didn't have to do that, ya know." Lucemon whispered softly, fluttering next to her.

"No one knows me, or is my friend, except you. And no one touches me." she said, looking Lucemon in the eyes. Her eyes were still the same scary, icy blue.

Lucemon nodded and they continued to walk quietly, the others watched her, but she was still with the group, even though she was angry, still following Magnadramon.

OOC: ^^' Sorry Neuvoxetere. I screwed the pooch there. Heh.

Hade walked on the right, his hands in his pockets. Rock walked next to him, his face showing Hade's attitude.

"Rock." Hade said, toning down his voice.

"What?" Rock said stopping and turning around.

"I don't like these guys." Hade said.

"It really doesn't matter." Rock said starting to walk again.

"How so?" Hade said, trying to keep up with the digimon's heightened pace.

"This is Magnadramon. End of Story." Rock said.

Hade looked at him and gave up. Hade continued walking, and quite suddenly he shook his head, and started to whistle. Suddenly Brice, Angel, and Gammamon shot thier heads around at him. Hade stopped, his lips stil in a pucker.

"Hey, Rock. I think I pissed them off." Hade said, thinking.

"Wow, Hade, did the initial teleport scramble your brain?" Rock asked grinning.

"Oh shut up you pile of rocks." Hade said, grinning from one ear to the other. Hade's face turned to a frown as he scrunched up his face.

"Hey, Hade what's up?" Rock asked stopping again.

"Oh nothing. It's just my parents. Now, I really miss them. I mean when they were all over my case, I couldn't stand them. Its like suddenly I miss 'em." Hade said, sniffiling.

"Oh stop you big baby. They have the police out looking for you already, I bet. Even better, your house has become the police headquarters. The cheif is running on your mom's treadmill, with your mom and her look keeping him going." Rock said, trying to immitate his mother.

Hade could only laugh out loud, earning him another look from Brice and Gammamon. Hade stared at the back of Angel's head. He tried to imagine what was going through her head. He couldn't figure it out. He then turned to Brice, and could almost hear what he thought was saying. "Oh man, Angel is hot."

Hade laughed at that thought, and he looked at Jaht. Another blocked mind. Ari, Storm, and Arika were the same. Hade thought about that and realized why. Brice was the typical guy, so it really wasn't hard to figure him out.

"Hey Rock, can you tell me about Magnadramon?" Hade asked

"How about we wait and let her?" Rock said.

"Fine" Hade muttered under his breath. He was getting sick of walking, and he was sick of all this silence. The only problem he had was trying to think up something to say.

Magnadramon led the group to the base of a large hill, barely smal enough to avoid being called a mountain. ?Do not question what you see,? she instructed. ?It will seem impossible, but you must follow me inside.? Then she seemed to pass right through solid rock and into the hill.

?She?s right,? Jaht said. ?That does seem impossible.?

?She also said not to question what we saw,? Hawkmon reminded him. The Digimon followed Magnadramon. Jaht went next, and the rest of the group behind him, with Angel and Labramon at the back. They found themselves in a very large tunnel. The tunnel had a very noticable downward slope. Hawkmon was already walking down it. He glanced backwards. ?Are you going to stand there all day??

Nothing ever seems to surprise him, Jaht thought as he started after Hawkmon. The others followed, Angel and Labramon again at the rear.

Eventually, the group reached the end of the tunnel. They stepped into a huge underground chamber. Several stone pillars rose from various spots on the ground to the barely visible ceiling. ?Wow,? Brice said. ?Where are we??

?Obviously, we?re underground. Are you all starting to see why I can?t stand this guy? He doesn?t know anything, he stinks, he can?t do anything right, he-?

Jaht kicked Gammamon. Hard. ?You keep pissing me off. Oh, and Brice asked a perfectly sensable question. Yes, we?re underground. No shit, Sherlock. But where are we? What is this place??

?This is where I live.?

Everyone spun around to see Magnadramon.

?You think you?re hot, don?t you? Popping in and out of nowhere, talking all important-like, you really take yourself seriously. Well, you know what? No. You?re nothing but a-?

Magnadramon picked Gammamon up and threw her into a pillar. ?Silence!?

?Thank you,? Brice said.

?I do not know how you can possibly stand being her partner.?

?It?s not easy.?

?Let?s get down to business, shall we?? Jaht said. ?Magnadramon, you said that you?d try to answer our questions once we got here.?

?And I will. Not right now, however. Follow me.?

Magnadramon led them into another tunnel. This one was much shorter, and instead the chamber was not quite so huge. In the center were several plates of food. There were fruits and vegetables that, while not identical to real world ones, looked very similar. there were several unrecognizable dishes, all of which looked to be cooked.

?Everything here is fit for human consumption,? Magnadramon said. ?Eat, then we?ll talk.?

Mika quickly ran to a plate and sat down in front of it. She really wasn't hungry, but she knew DemiDevimon had to be. In fact, he's always hungry.

"Here bud," Mika said as she handed DemiDevimon a strange looking pear, "I know you're starving. Besides, I would share with you any day." DemiDevimon looked up at Mika and smiled brightly. He then grabbed the pear with his wings.

"I'm really glad you're my partner," DemiDevimon bit down into the pear. Mika nodded and picked up a strange apple. She didn't want to trust it, but a little snack wouldn't hurt.

"Hey," Brice said as he sat down next to Mika, "I'm sorry about my partner for being so mean to everyone. She seems to be a little brainless sometimes." Mika stopped looking at the apple and looked at Brice. She then slightly smiled and turned slightly red.

"I can tell," Mika said as DemiDevimon coutinued to eat his pear in her lap, "and she calls you brainless. I think she's got it all mixed up." Brice slightly laughed and looked down at DemiDevimon. DemiDevimon really wasn't pay any attention to him. He was more interested in his pear.

"I bet it's nice to have a partner you get along with," Brice said as he slightly looked back up at Mika. Mika shook her head and looked down at DemiDevimon. She then put a hand on his head.

"Sometimes," Mika said as she lightly rubbed DemiDevimon's head, "Other times, he's just annoying. I can give many accounts on both." Brice slightly laughed again as Gammamon came waddleing over. She was rubbing her head from the impact of the pillar.

"I'm hurt and you're too busy worrying about a girl," Gammamon said with a bossy voice. DemiDevimon stopped eating his pear and looked at Gammamon as Brice and Mika looked at each other. A sweat drop appeared on all three of their heads.

OOC~ Sorry this post may seem awkwardly written. I actually wrote out this post directly on the boards, but it was lost just before I submitted. I?m trying to rewrite this post by memory. Oh, and Heezay, sorry if I messed up your character. Just PM me if you want me to change it.

Ari sat down quietly, away from the others. It?s not that she hated other people, she just always felt awkward in social situations. She looked across the table at Mika and Brice. She listened to their conversation as she took a bite of a strange piece of fruit. Why am I here?, she thought to herself.

?You okay there, Ari?? asked Gomamon, who had managed to climb onto the chair next to her.

?Yeah,? she said with a fake smile, ?Just thinking.? As she turned back to her food, one of the boys approached her.

?Hey, is it okay if I sit here,? he said, pointing to the chair on the other side of her. ?Oh, my name?s Akira, by the way.?

?I?m Ari,? she said, ?And yeah, you can sit here.? Ari quietly turned back to her food. She wanted to be alone, but if someone wanted to sit by her, she wasn?t going to stop them.

?So, how?s the food?? he asked trying to make conversation.

?Not too bad,? she said without looking up, ?It tastes a bit funny though.?

Akira thought for a moment trying to think of something else to say. ?So,? he started, ?What were you doing when you and your digimon partner got sent here? I heard most of us were checking our e-mail or something.? He paused for a moment. ?I was playing a game on my computer when I got the message.?

?Yeah, I was just hanging out, checking my e-mail,? Ari said in an emotionless tone.

?We were swimming,? added Gomamon in a chipper tone. Ari quickly turned and glared at him for making the conversation go somewhere.

?Swimming?? Akira asked.

?Uh, yeah,? said Ari, turning back to him, ?You see, Gomamon, here, really likes the water, so I sorta snuck him into my school?s pool afterhours.? She quickly turned back to her food, a bit embaressed by the fact that she had done something illegal.

But Akira just laughed a bit, ?That?s pretty cool.?

All around Angel were familar foods that her father cooked. Most were dishes that her father's hotel cooked. Exquisite and rare, yet excruciatingly delicious, as her father always said. Yet, she ignored the exotic scents that wafted towards her and Labramon.

Sitting down, Angel looked through her e-mail and other things she routinely did. Labramon sat down as well, but kept guard. Angel could feel various gazes that fell upon her at various moments, yet she ignored them all as she looked through the e-mail. She had found an e-mail from her sister saying that the family was well and she had nothing to worry about. It made Angel happy to hear that her sister was getting along well. She decided to send mail to her father, letting him know that she was ok and where she was, but when she would come back home, she didn't know.

With a silent sigh, Angel scratched Labramon's ear while listening to her music. She looked at the different faces that were seated in front of her. She decided to walk out of the room, or whatever it was, and be by herself with Labramon at her side, which was exactly what she did.

"After this, we leave."

Storm was leaning against one of the stone pillars, a distance away from the area where the rest of the Chosens were eating. Her eyes had changed back to their regular colour after shouting at Brice. Lucemon was standing on the ground next to her, looking up at her with worry.

"Are you....okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, of course." she answered simply.

"You sure?"

"Positive. Don't worry so much about me Lucemon, I can take care of myself." she sighed, fiddling around with her digivice.

"You should join them to eat." Lucemon stated.

"I don't want to be around them, could you get me an apple?" Storm asked. Lucemon was the only person that she was nice to.

Lucemon nodded and spread his wings, flying over to the table and picking up an apple that didn't have any marks on it, then flew back to Storm.

Storm took it from Lucemon's outstretched and took a bite out of it, thanking him with an inclination of her head. She put the hand that wasn't holding the apple, into her pocket and leaned her shoulder against the pillar, watching the group and keeping her ears open for any news from Magnadramon. She was watching for when they finished eating, because Magnadramon had said they'd talk after eating.
