There is only one continent on the planet known as [B]Terra[/B]. This continent is called [B]Osenia[/B]. By the will of humankind, the continent has a border through the middle. Seperating [B]Good[/B] from [B]Evil[/B]. On the left side, the Country of [B]Kanin[/B], a Country filled with Darkness dwells. On the right side, the Country of [B]Zaber[/B], a country filled with Light lives.

Kanin (Dark) hates thier neighbours, Zaber (Light). Zaber, just turns thier heads at the note of Kanin and ignores they even exist.

Kanin was planning to start a war against Zaber. The country of Dark were just rallying all of thier troops when an army from across the world deployed troops from large ships and enslaved the whole Dark race. We will call these the Barbarians. The Barbarians are coming for Zaber next. There is only one problem. Zaber has no idea what's happening because of the great wall along the border. Only a singular Kanine (one who is from Kanin) lived. And has decided to notify the Leader of Zaber. He must go on a quest through all of Zaber, a land full of magic, swords and monsters.

People may not take very kindly to this young Kanine. Why? All the Zabans (one who is from Zaber) have one thing in common. They all have light coloured hair and eyes. This Kanine is from Kanin. His hair is Jet Black with Dark Black eyes.

A marble-sized smooth orb of wood hangs from a leather cord around her neck. A small heart is carved into it. [/font]

[font=Garamond][u]Background:[/u] Since most in Zaber are very fair haired, the bit of brown in hers disturbs some. Anything unusually dark is hinting at evil to them, and her love of dark colors makes them wary. Because of this, and her preference of silence, people keep from getting to know her. She is her town's herbalist, and lives by herself. The necklace was given to her by her only friend, a long time ago. [/font]

[B]Appearance:[/B] Aria has long blonde hair that ends around the middle of her back and crystal blue eyes. She has a strange pendant that hangs around her neck, it's a small glass ball with a spark of blue power inside, that changes colour and size with her mood, which hangs on a fine silver chain. Aria mainly wears robes, of usually blue, black, emerald green, or blood red/crimson, to show her class.
[B]Background:[/B] Aria grew up in a warm loving community, since she was the typical type of Zaban, with long blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. Her parents were very proud of her as she had inherited parts from both parents. Her mother had blonde hair and green eyes, while her father had dirty blonde and crystal blue eyes. Her parents named her Aria for her voice, when they first heard her cry, it was somewhat musical. When she was 4, her parents made her take vocal lessons/training. It turned out to be a good choice by her parents, as her melodious voice developed. Soon everyone knew about her wonderful voice and continually asked her to sing for them. When she was 9, she discovered that she had strong magical powers, some which was even in her singing. Aria alerted her parents and she was checked for signs of magic, the tester told them that she had very strong powers for someone of her age and advised that she get trained immediately in case her powers went wild. So soon, Aria's days were packed with vocal training in the morning, schooling for part of the morning and afternoon, and magic training for the rest of the afternoon. She would return home in the evening and would eat a quick dinner before doing all the work she needed to do for the next day. Whenever possible, she would fulfill peoples requests to sing for them and people were always happy when she did. Then during one of her, now rare, singing performances, she saw a boy with jet black hair, she thought it was strange for a Zaban to have black hair, but just ignored it, but made sure to see if she could see him again.
[B]Popularity:[/B] About 100%, practically everyone knows her from her rushing around, her singing, or her kindness to everyone.
[B]Gossip:[/B] All of the townspeople that know her think she's a kind and pure soul. And that she has a good heart, they don't really care too much about her caring for Kanines since she's kind to almost everyone she comes across, except those who are stubborn about being mean.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Iris has reddish-gold hair that stops slightly above her elbows. She is about 5'5", slender, and she has very pale skin and dark green eyes with flecks of gold towards the center. Normally she wears a dark blue ankle-length dress with a Mandarin collar, and ontop of that she sometimes wears a dark-red (almost a brownish color) cloak with a hood. She carries with her at all times a magical flute made of ivory and her pouches of spell components. (I'll try to get a picture of her soon.)

[b]Background:[/b] Iris and her twin brother, Athos, had practically been inseperable during childhood. And why not? Their mother and father had left to try and offer peace to Kanin, but had never returned. It was later discovered that they were brutally killed by a Kanin hunting party. The orphans were raised by their aunt until the they were eleven, but their aunt died of heart failure shortly after. In her will she left Athos, who was older than Iris, an ivory flute that had belonged to their mother. It was believed that the flute had magically properties, but none had been able to discover its secret.

For a few years they worked hard, saving every bronze piece, which was just enough to survive; Athos worked in the fields, and Iris worked in the stables tending to the horses. Then about a year or two later, an unknown man in the village started the rumor that Athos and Iris were actually spies, that their mother and father had left them to join Kanin. The citizens were angry, and soon a riot had formed. Iris had been away from home at the time, and when she arrived at their small cottage she found her brother's corpse just inside the doorway. If the mayor of the village hadn't told the angry town that the man who started the rumor was a fraud, Iris would have found herself in a similar situation as Athos was in. The next day after Athos' funeral, she packed her few possessions, including Athos' flute, and left to study under an elderly wizard. Her teacher, Zedd, examined her flute and discovered that it indeed was magical. Zedd taught Iris a few of the flute's secrets and songs, some of which could put one to sleep, or freeze an enemy in its tracks. After about eight months, she left the man, thanking him kindly, and set out once more. Because she has seen that even the Light can become corrupted by wickedness, Iris feels that she must walk the path of Neutrality so that she will not be consumed by either power.

(note: Because she is neutral, she is not predjudiced against either race, but because of her upbringing her morals and standards lean more towards the Light end of the Spectrum.)

[b]Popularity:[/b] From reading about Iris' background, you can probably already guess that she's not too popular around the village. When she does visit, she is treated politely only because some of the citizens have a twinge of guilt about her twin brother. Even though they treat her kindly, there's a large gap between her and everyone else.

[b]Gossip:[/b] Because of the incident that happened a few years earlier, many suspect that Iris wants revenge for her brother. Although she shows no outward signs of this, everyone is wary of her.

[b]Zaban Race:[/b] Iris is a wizardress.

[b]Weapon:[/b] She has a small dagger concealed in the sleeve of her red cloak, and she also has her magic flute.[/color][/font]

Race: Zaban

Appearance: Long blonde hair with a ponytail in the back and two locks of hair
dangling in front of his high cheekbones. He eyes are blue like the sky. He wears baggy blue jeans, a shin-length trench coat open to where you can see his muscular chest and stomach, and black leather fingerless gloves.

Background: (I don't really know what to put here, so I'm going to put the personality) Usually a loner and talks very little. Hard to understand sometimes because he has never really thought "inside-the-box." He doesn't talk because he doesn't have to, it's just that he doesn't have the time. He is too caught up in his deep philosophical thoughts. He also doesn't realize what the big deal is about the wall between the Kanins and the Zabins, because he doesn't judge people like everyone else does.

Popularity: Well-known in after visiting any town, because he is very loud and unforgettable

Gossip: Townspeople see him as a bad person because he doesn't discriminate Kanins like the other Zabans do.

Zaban Race: Archer

Weapon: Although he is an archer, Irvine mostly uses his dagger

Background: [i]While growing up Marc was taught to roam the land and to live on it. Marc was brought up outside of the dense cities and spent many nights sleeping in the calm woods.

While he was young he always gazed at the giant wall and wondered what it was for, and what was on the other side. Although he never voiced his opinions he often thought that perhaps there were people on the other side, and he wanted to meet these people.

His dad often told him stories about the people across the wall, horrible stories. Yet one day his father disappeared, never to be seen again. Marc was 13 at the time, and left to wonder around the world alone.

When Marc was 15 he first ventured into the cities of Zaban and recieved many stares, and often heard snide remarks about him. The citizens had never seen anyone like Marc, someone who had been raised in seclusion. They did not understand Marc and so made fun of him, as well as harrassed him.

After that event Marc became leary of all people from Zaban, despite hearing that this was the good side of the world, he always felt as if they hated him. Marc spent the next year wondering around the world, looking for a companion. Looking for another outcast to identify with. Pushing him on was the fact that after hearing what the village said about him, he figured that perhaps, these "evil" people, couldn't be as bad as they say, and perhaps one of them would understand.

Marc can seem quite skittish around people, because he is fearful of their rejection and is quiet, but nontheless if he sees someone in trouble he gladly helps them.[/i]

Gossip: [i] Stories have gone rampant about this kid from the woods, many believe he's up to no good, others believe he's just trying to fit in. Whatever the case all the stories seem to start and end with the fact that, if you see Marc you have to be careful he could be dangerouse. All the stories are unfounded and full of lies, but the townsfolk don't know this.[/i]

He usually wears a simple sleeveless shirt and loose pants, but he does wear some armor during battles. On his back is his sword, always with him, no matter what.

Background: Matthew had a good home life and grew up like any normal boy in his town. He learned to use a sword at a young age and was very skilled with a blade not too long afterwards.

Matthew was first given a sword in his hands at 7 years old. His father and uncle taught him everyday after school and whenever the boy had free time. Due to all this training, Matthew became as skilled as some of the knights by the age of 10.

As he enetered his teenage years, Matthew told his parents he wanted to be a Paladin, and he had already started to learn a little bit of light magic. His parents were furious, not wanting their son to become a warrior, no matter what he was. They kicked him out, sending him to live with is uncle.

There, Matthew continued to learn light magic and had continuously trained with his sword. He had gotten in a few fights as he became older, but won most of them due to the light magic arts he knew.

On his 16th birthday, his uncle gave Matthew a new sword, since his old one was cracking and the handle was worn almost completely gone. He said the sword was from a Paladin he knew and wanted to give this custom sword to Matthew for his birthday.

Now, Matthew still lives with his uncle but he is always about, training with his new sword and training with his magic.

Popularity: Not widely known, but still known. Almost everyone has heard of his parents kicking him out.
Gossip: They see him as a good person, but the stories about why he was kicked out were rather out of place.
