OOC: Ok, this is my very first RP and I hope it goes well. As you're about to read, I basically created my own Gundam universe, using similar plots from other series. O_O;

Earth space, Dark side of the Moon, unknown sector...

"Okay, come on, Lieutenant...spill the beans. Why are we guarding this egghead facility on this godforsaken dark side of the moon?" a young pilot said over the comm.

"*sigh* After I tell you this, you better shut the hell up, Private! I wasn't given full details but this...Project "Judicator" will supposedly give us Mediators the edge against both the CPs and the Double D's. Some new line of mobile suits with equal power to at least 50 frontline military mobile suits," the lieutenant answered.

"Holy crap! That'd be some **** once they finish! Any idea when they'll be done?" the young private asked.

"Nope, they don't tell me anything 'bout progress. Supposedly has gone on for 'bout 3 years already. Might even have a prototype," the lieutenant responded while eyeballing his viewscreens.

"Sweet! Maybe we can- *beep! beep! beep!* Hey! I got a squad of hostile mobile suits on sensors! Coming in at vector 237, at 34 counter-spin!" the private shouted.

"Crap. This place was supposed to be secure and out of view from any of the colony nations...sensors are giving specific profiles...Double D Stiletto-class mobile suits, yeah, full squad. Arm all weapons, alert the facility!" the lieutenant said as he armed and maneuvered his Crusader heavy assault mobile suit towards the incoming enemy.

"Got it...dammit! Long-range comm's jammed! I'm arming my Spread-shot autocannon and Longinus missiles!" the private said as he joined his commanding officer. The incoming Stilettos transformed out of their Flight Mode and assumed battle formation. Each one was armed with a rapid-fire beam spray rifle and various sub-weapons. Eight of them headed toward the two Crusader suits, while the other four dove in toward the facility with blazing speed.

"They're firing on the facility, jeez, here, have some of this!" the private shouted as he pulled his right joystick trigger. Fragmentation shells flew toward the Stilettos but they merely strafed out of the way and returned fire. Green beams traced in towards the private's mobile suit, but he managed to dodged half and block the other half of the barrage with his tempered shield.

"Hang on there, private!" the lieutenant shouted as he blocked a few beam shots and then blasted a Stiletto into pieces with a salvo of large Longinus anti-armor missiles. Then he noticed something else entering sensor range. "[I]What the hell is a scavenger ship doing here?[/I]" the lieutanant thought to himself as the fight continued.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Plotline~~~

It is the year ASC (After Settlement of Colonies) 233. It's been over two centuries since the Earth population migrated out to various colonies around Earth, its moon, and Mars. While Mars just became a self-sufficient colony through terraforming efforts, the situation back home has grown increasingly tense, especially with the introduction of the military mobile suit back in ASC 189.

Two major colony nations have arisen, a collection of colonies around Earth, and the peace that everyone knew has shattered. The CP (Colonial Protectorate) wants to merely protect itself from encroachment from other colonies and Earth. But they've also made attempts in seizing the resources from the Moon in order to expand their infrastructure. The DD (Doran Dominion) supposedly wants to claim all of the Earth area in order to maintain order and to strengthen humanity in a united front. The Mediators are an organization created by people who live on the last bit of habitable land on Earth and the remnants of the United Nations. They also run resource collection operations on the Moon. They are generally peacekeepers with some access to former 'lost technology' from Earth, but they aren't very effective due to their low numbers. The rest of the people are in neutral colonies, scavengers trying to make a living, or the occasional pirate gang looking for places to raid.

In ASC 230, the Mediators decided to commence Project 'Judicator,' a project that uses all the lost technology available to the Mediators to develop incredibly powerful mobile suits. This will allow the Mediators to be able to maintain the peace between the colonies. However in ASC 233...the facility is under attack by Doran Dominion forces. And a scavenger ship inadvertantly flies near the facility...the crew of that ship will affect the fate of Earth and the colonies...for better or worse.[/FONT][/COLOR]

I will need five people to sign up to take the roles of the pilots in the scavenger ship. I'll be the head scavenger pilot out of six.

Anyone care to guess what sorta mobile suits you'll find in the facility? :p

If anyone else wants to be in this RP if the pilot slots are full, you can be part of the scavenger ship crew, or various pilots on any of the three sides in this universe.

The thread will have information about the Mediators, DD, and CP as well as the mobile suits they use. [COLOR=Blue]Name: Xi-Zhuan Li (his buddies call him Leon)
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance: Leon is about 5' 11'' and 177 pounds. He has brown asian eyes, pale skin, and black, scraggly hair, but he dyed it also with blue streaks. His muscular arms show that he works out a lot, especially the upper body. Leon generally wears a dark-green combat vest and a T-shirt underneath. He also wears baggy mechanics pants as well as heavy-duty boots with ferro-ceramic plating.

Personality: Under non-combat situations, Leon generally acts all nonchalantly and talks softly to people in general. He has a knack for intuitively finding good salvage and willingly shares the credits earned to every one in his group. In combat, he's level-headed but occasionally gets recklessly aggressive in combat with other scavengers or pirates. His luck and his piloting skills is what keeps him alive.

Bio: Leon was born under poor parents in a poor neutral colony orbiting the Moon. This colony, MNC - 12, was barely sufficient at the time and everyone living there had utilitarian duties in order to make the colony prosper. However, by the age of 18 when the colony just celebrated the completion of their fully autonomous support system, pirates came in and attacked the colony. The colony didn't have any defenses whatsoever, and thousands died in the first five minutes of the raid. Leon tried to get everyone to safety until he saw both of his parents blown away by an autocannon blast. He quickly got into a Worker-class construction mobile suit that he learned to pilot at age 14 and sluggishly moved towards the nearest pirate suit. Using a power vibro-saw, Leon scored his first mobile suit killed by bisecting the pirate in half. He quickly herded the survivors into armored shelters and then stood his ground against 7 enemy mobile suits. Leon then charged at them, but his saw got blasted away with his suit's right arm, his main thrusters were also shot out, and then another suit shot missiles at the outer wall. The pirates quickly jetted away from the hole but Leon was sucked out since his thrusters were wrecked. The force of the vaccuum knocked Leon around until he blacked out. He woke up later, finding himself in a cot, on a rickedy scavenger ship. The ship's captain, Jeb Arlerain, asked a few questions and then told Leon the bad news. The pirates got away, but only after destroying the colony and killing everyone. After recovering from the shock of the colony's destruction a few days later, Jeb wanted Leon to join his group. Leon agreed, since he had nowhere else to go, nothing else to do. By the age of 25, Leon took over command of Jeb's ship, 'The Fixer-Upper,' after Jeb retired and was respected by all his crew. Then, in the year ASC 233, he chose a random sector on the dark side of the moon, persuading his crew that this location will be the jackpot. Leon has no idea how right....and how wrong he will be....


[B]Gundam Name[/B]: Paladin Gundam
[B]Weapons[/B]: Long Plasma Burst Rifle/Energy SwordLance - A long and powerful beam rifle with its muzzle in between two prongs that jut forward. The weapon can assemble the 'prongs' together and energize the weapon into a massive SwordLance weapon.
Energy Tower Shield - in its unactivated form, it is a small, armored dome that is attached to the forearm. When activated, projectors extend out to four corners and then energized to manifest the large tower shield. Generally, this is used when the Paladin Gundam uses its SwordLance.
4 Omni-Directional Charged Particle Cannons - These small dome-like weapons are placed at the tips of each wing, in the back of the Gundam. They use micro-gravitational manipulators to shoot out the particle beam a short distance, then bend them to whatever target is designated. The beams cannot be 'bent' after it's been directed at a target.

[B]Description[/B]: The Paladin Gundam is generally a white color throughout the entire body, but it is also accented with blue and silver highlights at the joints and the limbs. Its wings are a silver gray color and fairly slim design. They are arranged in the back of the Gundam, coming out from the quintiple thrusters backpack. The head is equipped with sensors, communications, ECM, and two Vulcan chainguns. It also has three 'horns' on its forehead, two pointing up and outward while the third one points straight up.
[B]Role[/B]: The first of the Judicator series, the Paladin Gundam is meant as a strong overall close and long ranged mobile suit. Using lost tech synthesizers, Luna-Titanium, NeoSteel and other various metals, the Mediator R&D division armored all of the Gundams with their namesake, the Gundanium superalloy.[/COLOR]
