Trains, trams, computers, heaters, coolers, TV, the Internet, all stopped. I have a constant headache which is really starting to hurt and I have a ringing in my ears. I'm going to go to bed before my head explodes. Cya.[/I]

Finally the comet has passed. I don't have headaches anymore and the rining in my ears has stopped. They were really starting to hurt! But anyway, now I feel different. Today at school, this boy was picking on me. He was really starting to get on my nerves. Anyway, I turned around and he started screaming. His hands were on fire! I didn't know if it was me but that day, before the incident, I felt hot inside my body. After it, I felt cool. Strange![/I]

I set the toaster on fire today because it didn't work. My dad saw me do it I think. Anyway. he took me to the hospital to be checked out. I had a brainscan. The doctor said that the normally dormant part of my brain, the psychic part, was awakened by the strange frequencies from the comet. He said that I wasn't the only one who was like this. A couple of other kids came in too like me. But the scary thing was when he said that the government was after kids like me. He said that they were going to use us like experiment rats or something. That made me feel sick! But he said he wasn't going to turn us in! He's a good guy![/I]

Guess what I found out at school today? Some of the other kids have powers too! I feel so much better but I still feel like I'm not the person I used to be, the normal one. I guess that the normal kids don't understand.[/I]

Personality: Jim is a very outgoing peson, likes to make friends and regular things teenagers like to do: go to the mall, drive around for no reason, fun stuff. He's basically a dependable guy to anyone even if it is a stranger, but he doesn't like when he or any of his friends are in danger and would help out any way he can to prevent or stop the problem.

History: Jim had his telekinetic powers ever since he was born, but Jim never shown that he had any traits of being a telepath/phsycic. Basically until the comet passed he was living a mornal life, he had an older brother who went off to college when Jim was 10 and got married when Jim was 16, bothe his parents are working day and night. Jim's father is a top sergion and Jim's mother is a high and powerful lawyer, both are hardly around the house anymore, but Jim has learned to adapt. When the comet passed however Jim got a massive pain in his head and all the electronics and movable items (be it cars or light things) moved about throughout his neighborhood. Jim also was able to read minds of poeple in his block and saw what they were doig at the time, the pain was so overwhelming Jim passed out. When he woak though he figured out he had great powers and started to train with them for about a year, he skippe a year of school so he wouldn't lose control and harm others. But now Jim's back in school and has a little better control than he did before.

Power: Jim is a strong telpath with abilities to control people's minds or just lift things and launch an attack at someone. The only thing he is not able to do is levitate or fly, but what he lacks in that suill he can make up for protecting people with pshycic barriers and walls.

Silver-blue eyes catch the eyes of many girls, but he pretends not to notice most of them. Most. Alex stands 5'10, and a good, thin but strong 134. Alex's complexion is about medium, a nice tan on him.

For clothes, Alex wears usually the colors of blue, silver, green, or black. One of his favorite combonations are black and blue, reflecting the usual color of his soul. He also likes the silver green look, and the black and green. Blue and silver is his least used, but he likes it still.

Alex's usual black and blue outfit is a simple black t-shirt, with the words in gangster esque font "Chicago" on it, another simple, but effective medium blue button up collar shirt that lays open. Black cargo pants that can zip off into shorts complete this outfit.

For green silver, its pretty much the same, green the undershirt with the writing in scribbled like handwriting "I kidnapped myself and held ransom for one million dollars. And all I got was one million kicks in the *** and this T-shirt". And a silver button up shirt.
However, the shorts/pants are white in this one.

Black and green is the same as the above two, the writing on the green shirt "As a matter of fact, the world DOES revolve around me." Black overshirt, and black pants that zip off into shorts yet again take this.

Blue and black...he wears a blue long sleeved shirt with no writing on it, and a black dress shirt, but not button up, over it, with a bit of a fancy collar.

Alex wears a diamond post earing in one of his ears, and wears a black band around his right wrist.

[b]Personality:[/b] Alex is a cool, level headed kind of guy. His handsome looks catch the eyes of most girls, but he usually ignores them. His cool demeanor offests the people who try to pick on him or his friends, (Which he has few of) and then he usually lets his wild side take over, pulling out the thing he likes to call his fist and letting it meet their nose.

Though, Alex isn't always like that, most of the time, for people he cares about, he shows his love to them.

[b]History:[/b] Alex was born to a wealthy faimly, and being the only child, he was spoiled, if not a little lonely. Having all the things he had, the sense of being alone faded when he started getting used to people in general.

When the comet came, his legs and arms went numb, losing all feeling until the comet passed. The next day, when he was walking to school, some little kids who though it was fun to harrass him pulled their usual gig.

Alex was getting pelted with stones and other things, but time seemed to slow, and he dodged them all, and then came the cap pistols. He dodged them like they weren't there. It was strange.

Appearance: A tall yet slim caucasian teen, seemingly appears almost frail. He has blue/green eyes and dyed his brown hair into a deep blue color.
Personality: A quiet and intelligent person, Jon earns the highest marks in his class. He's generally calm and never gives in to anger and sorrow. He has a habit of analyzing any situation or problem to the point where he has a solution plus several other alternative paths to solve the problem.

History: Born a single child, Jon was gifted with a high intelligence from the very start. His parents encouraged him to do well in academics and he delivered. But his parents died in a car accident when he was ten years old and had to live with his uncle. His uncle didn't care about Jon and was gone most of the time, working graveyard shifts at a manufacturing plant. Jon simply drowned himself in science, technology, and mathematics books as well as attend classes, since that's how he deals with problems.
By the age of 17, Jon had already blazed through the mathematics and science curriculum. He was constantly picked on by those with less intelligence and more brawn, but he dealt with them easily, having trained himself with several karate and other martial arts texts. But when that fateful day, when the comet passed the Earth, Jon had a severe pain in his head so he tried taking Advil and getting some sleep to alleviate the pain.
When he was on his way to school, several bullies came to harass him. One of them threw a punch at him, but right before that bully did so, Jon experienced something unusual. He saw the bully, as well as faint duplicate representations, showing all the possibilities based on the bully's position, stance, and strength. Jon dodged the punch, since he knew exactly where and how it was going to hit and thoroughly knocked him out with a chop to the bully's neck. Realizing he was going to be late to school, Jon ran towards school, which was still a mile away. Then suddenly, Jon felt a surge of energy and before he knew it, he was at the door of his first class.
Later, he went to check with a doctor and found out he wasn't alone in the emergence of these powers...
Power: Enhanced calculating/analyzing abilities as well as the ability to mentally boost his metabolism and musculature, increasing his speed temporarily 15-20 fold.

Personality: Depressing, he's a pessimist. He always sees the worst in a situation, and his attitude tends to adversely affect his friendships. However, he does have a wild temper.
History: Abandoned at an early age, he was raised by an elderly couple. When the woman was murdered, Till became withdrawn. He now works part time to help the old man, who runs a small library. He takes any job, and usually resorts to manual labor. When he found his powers, only the old man found out. Till wishes to find his true potential with the power.

I was wondering if I can be one of the kids, but instead of running away from the goverment I'll be working with them. Here goes:

Name:Asim (Last name unknown)

Age: 17.

Sex: Male.

Appearance: Tall about 6 ft 7 in height, he has an athletic, and muscular built. He has brownish hair, black eyes, and also a diagonal scar on his face. He wears a pair of slightly baggy black jeans, with a black circular buckled leather belt, and dark brown steel toe boots. He also wears a black T-shirt with a long black coat over it. Sometimes he wears black leather gloves, or black fist guards. He has a pair of black shades, in which he carries most of the time.

Personality: Calm, playful, honorable, dark, and charming with ladies. He is a wise young man that controls his temper yet sometimes uses his anger as a weapon. Although he is considered to be evil, he still has some good left in him. Cool, and smooth, he can easily slip unoticed, or make a big appearance.

History: He doesn't remember much about his family. He was found as a baby in a forest by a Karate instructor that took him in as his own. Training took a big part of his life since his early years. When he was thirteen on a rainy night his master mysteriously died. A few months after that a group of goverment agents came, and talked to him. They said that his master was involved in the investigation of a group of supernatural humans that could pause a threat to humanity, and these were somehow in on his death, they also proposed that he was involved in the plot. It was then when he discovered his powers of Electrokenesis, when he was about to be taken by force by these men. After reciving, and giving a brutal beating, they offered him a chance to join them, and learn more about his kind by capturing them, and perhaps studying them. His dark side surfaced at this moment, and he found it to be an intresting offer, so he accepted. For two years he was placed under observation, and was given intensive and advanced training in martial arts, plus other fields which were required. He also learned to control his power, and use it. For two years since then, he worked undecover in a certain school. Until the comet passed, and the others surfaced. He also found that after the passing of the comet his powers grew stronger, and his spirit was keen on facing the others of his kind. There is a large tattoo of a blue lightning bolt on his back, in which he had since he could remember.

Power: Electrokenesis: Discharges electricity generated by his mind in the form of bolts, shockwaves , barriers , and other various forms. With this ability he can also charge his cells with electrical energy, which gives him suprnatural physical strength, stamina, speed , and fast healing.

Usually wears her mom and dad's hand me downs, stuff bought from the good will, and the stuff her friends give to her. Doesn't really have a care for what her appearance is, as long as it is clean and basically matches. Though she does have a favorite black hoodie and ski goggles with flames on the band that she loves and usually wears.

Personality: Frankie is like a chameleon who changes with her surroundings. At school, especially around her friends she is charismatic, cheerful, and a prankster, with a laid-back demeanor and appearance that make her easy to hang around with.
Alone, or around people she doesn't know, Frankie is a quiet and shy person who only speaks when spoken to, she becomes very withdrawn and serious, usually zoned in some other world of her own.

History: Frankie is the daughter of Richard and Holly Tolerio, two simple people with little money and lots of love. Frankie was raised almost literally on bread and love her entire life, her parents having little money after paying the rent on the apartment and the enormous debt they owe to some unscrupulous companies. Not letting that affect how they were going to raise their kid, Frankie grew up with lots of love and an appreciation for the world and everything in it, along with a strong sense of morals and values. She has learned the meaning of hard work and determination and can be very stubborn in her views.
Taught to be herself and to always be considerate towards others, Frankie is very popular in school even though her clothes are old and her parents are poor, it doesn't really matter, her endearing charm and kindness more than make up for it. On Wednesday, October the thirteenth, two days after her fifteenth birthday, her ears starting ringing in her first period class, thinking it was Mr. Lundin's old computer again she ignored it. When the ringing didn't stop when she left for her second class she thought nothing of it. But it persisted and got annoyingly louder as the day progressed and by lunch, she couldn't think straight and was having trouble walking. Attributing it as some kind of weird migraine, she braved the school food and got something to eat, thinking it would make her feel better. Just as she started eating a drop of blood fell onto her fries, feeling her face, she realized her nose had started to bleed, grabbing her napkin she tried to stop the bleeding but it wouldn't stop. All the while the ringing kept getting worse and her head throbbed painfully.
Frankie woke up in the nurse's office, where she stayed the rest the of the day, fending off the nurse's constant questions on how she was feeling and trying to get some sleep.
When she got home she took two Tylenols and went to sleep on the couch, only to be woken by her parents insisting that she go to the doctor (apparently the nurse had called). On Thursday her dad stayed home from his much needed work and took her to the doctor, Frankie was just glad the ringing had stopped, but somehow it seemed alright; infact her senses seemed better than ever.
At the hospital, after a series of tests, the doctor concluded that her brain activity was abnormally high and asked if she would stay overnight for him to conduct a few more tests. Her father concented, and left to see if he could work the nightshift at his job. After he left, the doctor suggested that she get some sleep. Frankie was only too happy to take his advice.
When she woke Frankie found that she was strapped to her hospital bed. She struggled against them, but to no avail, they would not come loose. Hearing the doctor's voice outside her door, Frankie listened. He was saying something to someone about her. From what she could tell he was going to give her over to that person so that they could do some experiments on her. Closing her eyes in fear, she wished desperately that she was home. The next thing she knew was that she was home and on the living room couch.
Though it was still early in the morning (around three), and her mom was asleep, Frankie decided to tell her mom what had happened. Her mom (being a mother) naturally worried that Frankie was on drugs or something. Frankie, annoyed at not being believed, demonstrated her abilities. After a serious discussion, they concluded that Frankie couldn't live with them anymore, because if the doctor was helping that person then they probably had acess to her hospital records which told them exactly where she lived.
So Frankie know lives two stories up in the apartment building with Mrs. Hickman, a decrepit old lady, who needed someone to help take care of her. Frankie still gets to see her family and even gets paid.

She loves to help people and she'll do anything to help her friends when they're in trouble, danger or if they just need a shoulder to lean on. Aria loves to make friends with people and is always willing to give people a chance to become her friend. Aria is strong minded. She never gives up and hates to admit to defeat. She's a quick thinker and solves problems quickly. She can easily keep a cool head in a heated argument, but she can also have a quick temper.
[B]History:[/B] Aria had been sitting next to her open window, something she often did, when a comet zoomed past. She suddenly felt strange and told her parents, they took her to hospital for a CAT scan. Her parents and herself waited quietly for the results, when they were back, it showed some strange brainwave patterns, but they didn't really know what it was.
When they got home, Aria sat at her window, as usual, and she suddenly felt hot, so she pretended to try to grab wind, and she was surprised when it actually worked. She grabbed a handful of air and opened her bedroom door, throwing the wind out of the door, creating a current of air that constantly flowed through her room. When she had enough, she waved it away.
