Burori
Okay I have been bored and all and thought this up while bothering Shin err...I mean talking to him. Anyways I know there are threads out there talking about what the title of the game but I thought, why not have a rating thread? Just like in any magasine you notice the column where the writers give their own opinion of what they thought of the game then give it a final rating of their own in the end, well why not here as well? So I decided to do this: I'd pick a Genre of the selection of games and you place in here a fair detail of the game in that genre and your thoughts and ratings of it. Please try not to repeat the previous posters game for example if they choose Halo try not to choose Halo. Lets try to get the most amount of games of that genre in here, even those that most people don't know about. (It might peak their intrest and look into the game) Note: Please also add the system of where that game was originated and maybe the date for kicks. So without further ado I will begin this months Genre. It is. FPS (First Person Shooting) Duck Hunt : Duck Hunt as many players would know first came out in 1984 on the system Nintendo. For the beginning of gaming I thought this was a decent and fun game to begin playing since all that was avaliable at that time was also the infamous neverending Mario game, but let us not get into that at this moment since that is not in this Genre. Duck Hunt's objective was to test your actual aiming skills (Unless you loved to shoot close to the screen) and hit the ducks that annoyingly flew across your screen. If you hit or missed the greatest disapointment was to see your dog commenting on your faliure shots. Duck Hunt was indeed a fun game plus challenging game but lets look at the facts. Pros: Tested your aiming skillz. Got challenging each round. Made you WANT to kill them ducks. Cons: Annoying Ducks/Dog Couldn't shoot the dog (>.>) And if you had the second controller in your friend could taunt you. Ratings: Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10 1= lowest 10= highest James Bond: Goldeneye/ The World is not Enough Yes the great Bond first came onto Nintendo 64 with a great big BANG! First off airing the Goldeneye games in 1992. All were playing it's glory blowing up all that they could with no care or worry. The greatest thought of it was the Tank. The first person shooting game finally had a Vehicle to sit in. From there you were able to do whatever you could do in a tank. Overall the standings are: Pros: Finally a Tank to use. Large weapons choice Detailed allies and villains. Cons: controls were a bit spiffy. all read and no say (no voice overs) Then onto the offspring of GoldenEYE: The world is not enough: This little bundle of joy came with great glee. Bringing in what all wanted mroe of Bond plus a little extra. The greatest addition to this game was the jump button, Bond can finally pull off some jumping jacks to stay fit. With the jumping comes great responsiblity. If you jumped a few feet down you'd likely take little or no damage. But any higher than a building, sudden Death. Obvious that you can't take that kind of fall and they leave it that way. PLus Voice over was now added to the game so you are able to hear the casts voices ring into your ears while you rampage and show off your guns and gagets. Speaking of gagets. You are now able to use a greater deal of gagets that can both help you and hurt them. Some used for lifting to higher ground and others to tazer or knock out. Overall great fun ^_^ Pros: Voice over More Gagets Adding the silencer with easier access. Cons: Seems Villiains pop out of nowhere. some levels grow boring. Ratings: GoldenEye: 7/10 WINE: 8/
