Writing My First Poem [PG] [Sad Poem]

Kaz has kinda gotten me into writing poetry *sigh* -_-
I have never written a poem before and haven't learned much about it in literature class yet (I'm in the 8th grade) Don't expect anything too great heh

My Sorrow

I dont know why I feel the way I do
It goes much deeper than I could say
feelings that come and go
and others that choose to stay
feelings that are killing me
in so many different ways
the sorrow envelops me
the darkness surrounding me
that no one can see
its grip on me so tight
it just wont let go
plunging me deaper into sorrow
deeper than anyone could ever know
drowning in an ocean of my tears
I'm running as fast as I can
struggling to overcome these fears
so much pain over the years
waiting out each day for the pain to away
waiting and hoping some day that everything will be ok
but until that day comes
I will carry this burden quietly
my sorrow that encumbers me silently
