Dragon Warrior
Umm... right. Don't mind the title--even if it's true! Whahaya, all! Halloween is approaching and it's time to trick-or-treat. Yeah, I'm old. So what? Wanna fight about it? >:^( I've decided to trick-or-treat this year with some friends just so I can feel that childish tingle again that I haven't experienced in many a year. I made a sexah home-made costume of Zorro! It looks amazing and almost just like Antonio Banderas' suit--ye know, only I'm sexier. So, are you people going trick-or-treating because you're silly and what's your costume? God my oh! A ghost :^D
Ezekiel
I'd love to trick or treat but alas in my neighbourhood I would be beaten with a stick before I got very far -.- especially in the costume that I would wear. I'm currently trying to convince my friend to have a Halloween party so I can dress up...the costume I have in mind? Well, I've gone through the witches, vampires, ghosts and everything, so I figured, why not Davis from Digimon? It might scare a few people >_> Yeah, my hair is reddish purple (stupid dye) and really short. I've got the goggles and the mad poses and even his Digivice (though I don't think it works anymore...). I figured, "Why not, it could be fun!" Then my friend hit me because she said I was sad, but hey, it was just an idea. lol.
Cysword6
I'm so goin trick or treatin! THe candy, the mischief, everything, why wouldn't you? I' wanted to go as Cloud, (I had everything planned out), but then my friends basically attacked me for that idea and chose a vampire costume. So meanie friends, if only I could've been Cloud. Ooooo well, yay for vampires!!!! (payed to say taht) ~Cysword6
PainfulLife
One year my freinds all dressed like final fantasy characters and they were so hilarious My now g/f Angela was Dagger... not princess garnet, dagger... then my other freind who happens to be another girl dressed up like squall... ^_^ we all laughed until she threatened us with her home made gunblade... we even sneaked in a Red XIII red skin and tail to complete the look...We even had a yuna... the look was cool but she did her hair all wrong...^_^; me I dressed as my self but this year we are going to do the same thing and my freinds are all trying to make me into a Rikku... Note I'm a GUY i don't know what the heck they are thinking... i personally am actually going to try and be Zidane cause he's cool or maybe Amarant... ChibiHorsewoman
I could send my mom outtrick-or-treating since she's only 4'11. I could even get her a neat costume, but I don't think she'd do it. :bawl: All that free candy! I can't take Abby out yet since she'll only be just over a month old at Halloween and too young to be out trick-or-treating especially in Western New York State. Heck, I once got an email on how to tell if you're from Western New York state and one of them is: You know you're from Western NEw York when you make your child's halloween costume to fit over a snow suit. Anyways, I might help hand out candy for a while, but more likely than not I'll be going to a Samhain ritual with an open circle that I know of where I live. Poor Lincoln, this is his favorite holiday and he's stuck in Iraq. Oh well, there's always next year.
chobit
I was gonna be Chii from Chobits and I was all excited,I'd ordered a 6 foot long blonde wig and some Persacom ears and then my aunt, bought me a Playboy Bunny outfit.Usually your family is trying to talk you out of the Bunny outfit. And I don't wanna hurt here feelings so...the bunny it is. Maybe its better, because I don't know how many people would know who Chii is.
Inari
I'm going trick-or-treating, Hell yeah! I think that I'm going with a few of my friends. We did it last year and it was so much fun. Well, I not going to be weird and stop at everyone's house, just the people that I know. I think I'll even visit a few teachers. This will be so much fun! I completely understand the snow on Halloween issue Chibihorsewoman. I can't remember the last Halloween we had in Idaho when there wasn't snow on the ground, or the temperature was above freezing. One year it was so cold, we went trick-or-treating in our car because it was too cold to walk. I don't quite know what I'll dress up as. I probably will wear one of my prom dresses with a flowery wreath on my head and some glitter, and be a fairy...princess...thingy... Of course I will have to wear long pants and a coat over my costume. *Shakes fist at Idaho weather.* Also, Halloween is on a Sunday. This sucks because the Mormons here in Idaho refuse to pass out candy on Sunday, and force the rest of the town to trick-or-treat on Saturday. I suppose it's not too bad because you can trick-or-treat twice, but I still hate that we have to move Halloween just for them. Anyways, have fun trick-or-treating everyone!
future girl
I've never trick or treated or dressed up for halloween, ever in my life. My mother has been a strict Pentecostal Christian for most of my childhood and adoloscence so I've never been allowed to. This year I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights with my friends though and for the very first time it's been expanded so that it's in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure so hooray for me!! This should more than make up for my lack of free candy through out the years. I might even wear a crazy hat or something.
Godelsensei
Poor Sarah-chan. She missed out on an essential piece of her childhood. Howsabout we all make her a big, fancy Halloween vampire-witch dress? : D No, really, I think I'll draw one for you, Anatema-chan. : ) Princess Goneral, Kunai, another friend, and I are going as Link Four Swords, which is bound to be endlessly fun.^^ We're making the costumes ourselves, however, which may end in death. *swt* *is thankful for her years of sewing experience, but fears for her friends'* Hmm... We bought some huge-*** pumpkins while we were up in the country this weekend, too, so Halloween is looking to be very fun this year. :

If you try anything like dressing an anime character, you'd be considered a freak and most likely beaten with a stick, even if not in your neighborhood. But I wouldn't mind being a black mage. Just, no one would know what the heck I am O.o
John
I want to go in one of those awesome two-person horse suits; of course, I'd be the only one in it. That may be awkward. Or maybe I'll put my cat in the back end. But she'd probably just get stuck in one of the legs, and I'd end up walking around the neighborhood looking like a famished horse, dragging itself around with its front legs and with its back end sliding along helplessly, one unusually lumpy leg hissing at people. I hope noone shoots me. (They'd better not steal my candy, either, because I'd have to dangle it around my neck what with the absence of arm holes.) ChibiHorsewoman
I've never trick or treated or dressed up for halloween, ever in my life.
I have two friends of mine who are in nearly the same boat as yourself. My friend Jessica, who I call my little sister, goes to a church party on Halloween instead of going door to door getting candy. I guess my other friend doesn't take her kids out trick or treating. Last year she took them to the mall and got their ears pierced. She does hand out candy though. I never really knew of people not trick-or treating until I met Jess though.
Sol-Blade
Heh, I haven't trick or treated in at least two years now. I might take it up again. Funny thing though...I wouldn't say dressing up as an anime character would get you hurt...but it definitely will turn heads. More power to you if you do, you got courage. I've only done it once...and only once and that was to attend this anime convention 3 years ago with my girl. We both dressed up as (Wait for it...wait for it...almost...) Gene and Melfina from Outlaw Star. What could I say? She made me promise I would do it and I couldn't say no. It was her favorite show at the time. Ah well, it was fun though. We dressed up respectively and we had a great time at the convention. Least we weren't the worst looking people there...I won't mention names. But I must admit, she did get her hair to almost fit the part exactly. In case you were wondering, we are still together. A girl like that is a keeper. :D
2010DigitalBoy
I am definetally going trick or treating. Why? I like candy. Wanna fight about it? Hey maybe I could dress up as D_W. Nope. To hard to capture his awesome physique. I havent qite come up with a good costume. I actually have friends who watch anime now (1) so maybe I could be something cool.... Once I dressed up as a Gamecube, it was freikin' smurf. (yeah I said smurf). But the first thing that comes to mind is Sly Cooper.

I suppose if DW were sexier than that then he would be a chick magnet..hahahaha I've never really gone trick-or-treating either, but this year I was thinking of borrowing somebody's little kids, dress up in "something"...maybe "borrow" some angel wings, or use my cat ears and go off and have a merry time. Oh well, I can't spend too much time on it, my exams are pretty close to that date *sigh* before I forget, I'll also drag a lackey of mine along so I don't have to deal with the sticky-fingered little kids too much XD
Pumpkin
My neighborhood use to be the hotspot for halloween, ever since about 2 or 3 years ago its been dead because old cranky people moved in. No one celebrates anymore. Its like ever since i got younger, less and less people even decorate or care. Its really sad. I might try to go to a party, maybe I can have my own who knows. Last year I tried to get my friends to dress up as Hooker Faeries hehe each of us different color hooker faeries (of course to parents who asked we would just say faeries :D ) but yea i thought it was a funny idea that i got from another friend. Hopefully I'll be able to make that vision come true. I wanna be the purple hooker faerie. hah oh yea and Zorro costume sounds cool.
Skye
Sadly, I have no clue what I?m going as. But yes, I am trick-or-treating if I have to put on a godamned sheet and be a ghost! XP I?m debating whether to be a soso-rendition of Catwoman, Hermione(OMG, I can pull it off ? if only I had the school uniform), full blown gypsy(scarves, bagles, everything! ^^), or Drusilla from Buffy. There is any number of things I could be, and I have no clue which. And of course, Gavynn-sama?s Zorro costume is very smexah!
Kanariya
I don't think I will be trick or treating for this year, because I'm afraid the neighbors'll give me stale candy. That's what happened at my friend's halloween party; she invited me and gave away two-year old candy to the trick-or-treaters. I found it funny, but that makes me rethink going trick-or-treating. Oh well, if it tastes good, I suppose it'll be ok. Plus, if I were to be anything, it'd be Jaken from InuYasha. >.> All I need is green face paint, some old ragged clothes, yellow contacts, and I need to start smoking and get a croaky voice. Heh, better be prepared getting laughed at throughout the whole neighborhood...
satan665
I dress up every year, lately with a superhero theme. I don't trick or treat anymore, but I go in to school and catch people off guard as much as possible. Last Year I was Aquaman, bleached short hair, yellow belt, green tights with underwear outside of pants and it was awesome. I found this orange kids size shirt that looked scaly and managed to fit into it. This year I'm going to be a villain from Batman Beyond. You can see a picture of him on MyOtaku (plug). basically he has skull-face makeup, a straight Jacket and long black hair. I'm going to dress up friday before at school and then Sunday the 31st I'm going to dress up to go to a Seattle Seahawks game. Oh, and halloween is my birthday (turning 24) which may explain why its my favorite holiday.
Panda
I love Halloween! My neighborhood is great for trick or treating. We get hundreds of kids here. My neighbors consists of young families and retirees in a closed street area...in other words we don't have through traffic, just lots of cul-de-sacs. So it is really safe for the kids to be out and about. All the older people in the neighborhood are like grandparents and are really cool. ^_^ I get two types of candy. The cheap stuff for the masses (Toostie pops and Smarties) and the good stuff (Snickers and the like). If you show up in a good costume you get the good stuff. If you show up in an anime related costume you get a big handful of the good stuff! Show up in no costume you get one of the cheap candies. I believe you should be rewarded for effort. I will be wearing my panda hoodie, black leggings and furry boots when answering the door. It keeps me warm, is not a scary costume for the little kids and it's a panda...what other reason would I need?! Being warm is very important here in Washington, I have gone many a year trick or treating in the snow. Not fun let me tell ya. Brrrrrr!

Deedlit
I don't think I can go trick-or-treating this year, but sinse I usually go to one or two Halloween parties a year, I'm dressing up as Arwen!! ^^ (partly because she's cool, partly because her outfit's easy to make, and partly because I'm running out of ideas.)

Bio
I've been wondering what to be for a while now, but I can't seem to decide. I thought going as a knight would be an excuse for me to get a broadsword (to no avail, I might add. ^^; I was thinking about going as the Link in the upcoming GC game, but it seems the basic idea's been taken by Godel. ^^ So my other choices are going as a Grim Reaper (not likely, since there are always a myraid of those), A demon, or some other random fantasy thing.Actually, going as my RO character might not be fun as well... But -- I've never actually bothered trying my hand at sowing before. Chances are I'll suck, but I can always try. XD
