?Earth has its flaws and its beauty, but ask yourself this. What if its flaws were the cause of its own destruction or just an illusion of its beauty??

Corruption lingered in the air, where god and goddesses dispute over the fate of earth. All but two goddesses stood abase and looked at each other with disgust of what they were hearing. Suddenly Droana, goddess of earth stepped forward and busted into screams.

?Enough! Look at you fools! Your no better than the humans who worship you! Now listen up?Suray is our speaker today, not yous!? Droana said in demand.

Everyone settled down and awaited to hear Suray?s words of wisdom. She surveyed the chrome room and let out a gasp as she saw hatred among them.

?Now listen, its time to make a choice and in order to do so, we must vote or all agree in one thing.? Surey said angrily.

Alno'dra, god of time stood up from his golden chair and made an announcement.

?Milady Suray? As you and I had spoken before and came to an agreement to a solution in progress. I have taken it upon myself to bring it out for all to hear. They have all listened and agreed despite their differences.? said Alno'dra as he began to sit back down.

?Well I say we?re wasting our time with your pathetic ideals!? The god of war declared.

?Now you hear me, the idea is not pathetic. It is simply because you fear the fact that you may not survive out there as a human. You fear that once you get there, you won?t be worshiped as a god, because they will only see another pathetic human no better than them!? Suray said in frustration.

The room fell in silence as Suray made her comment. Then everyone stared at one another and agreed in silence.

?Very well?the decision has been made. Each of you are to go to earth and live as a human. You are to observe and collect all that you need in order to come to your own terms. You are all to refrain from using your powers, unless if necessary. In one year we will meet again for one last time and decide earth?s fate. You all may, if you choose to stay in contact with each other. If war is to break out amongst yous, then its up to your self?s to either fight an endless fight or refrain from any stupidity. I am not the leader, nor are any who are here. We have manage to put aside our differences and do your job, now that you will be on earth and live as humans, I urge you to keep it that way, but whatever happens happens. One last thing, you are all to choose one of your most trustful person to fill in, while you live as human.? Suray said as she seated herself into her golden throne.

Everyone exited and began to plan what and how they wanted to live on earth as a human.

Astaroth leaned forwards in his black marble throne, a look of anticipation on his perfect features. The God of Darkness had hoped that Suray would make a decision like this, one that would even the playing field -- but only for those deities who decided to follow the rules. Fact was, Astaroth's powers were more than just the element he wielded; his appearance was a power the God could not turn off (nor did he wish to). Pushing back a length of black hair, Astaroth's cold violet eyes surveyed the others assembled in the chrome hall. They all appeared to be in thought, some consulting with their own minions, all preparing for the journey to earth. Astaroth allowed himself a quiet smile. This was going to be no problem.

"Will you need anything for the journey, Lord?" asked Asmodeus, Astaroth's strong right hand and the one he was leaving in charge. Together with Belial, his general, the two dark angels met Astaroth's gaze impassively.

"No," said Astaroth smoothly, rising from his throne. "I have everything I need." His long black robe traced his path as the God of Darkness approached his minions. "You know I have done this before, do you not?"

"Yes, Lord." Both angels knelt as he approached. "We will keep things running smoothly here."

Astaroth nodded once. "Good."

Belial raised his head slightly, only enough to catch a glimpse of Astaroth's black boots. "When do you plan to depart, Lord?"

Casting off his long plumed cape, Astaroth allowed his black mechanical wings to sprout forth. With a hiss of metal, the God of Darkness flexed them in anticipation.

"Now."

Eros sat on his throne, looking around his chambers and pondering what he should be doing next. A dim red light from everywhere and nowhere filled the marble chambers. He was pleasesd with the course of action that Suray had proposed. Hell, he would have supported it even if Corruption or Water had made the same plan. This was finally a chance to make things right, no longer would the problems of the world around him echo in his mind. He began to wonder what he would do when on the surface. Where would he go? What would his human form be? How would he go about fixing things on Earth? He would deal with the last one later. He turned to his Guardian, grinning.

"What is your decision, my lord?" Rethos spoke in a powerful voice, one that would sunder the air around mortals, but held little power here. Eros seemed to like this plan, despite his normally hermetic persona. He slowly got up.
"I'm leaving you in charge, Rethos." He looked over to his guardian, who merely nodded. "I'll arrange everything on earth, I hope you're capable of handling things around here."
"It will be an honor, my lord." This made Eros' grin wider. He looked out at the space around him. He walked over to the edge of his chamber, surveying the world sitting far below. "Is everything arranged for me to take control?" Tenacious as always.
Eros looked over at his Guardian again. "Even if they weren't, you're intelligent enough to handle things, unless I'm mistaken."
"Thank you, sir." Rethos calmly said. Eros then leapt off the edge, falling to the world below.

Hydraia sat on her blue coral throne, she looked around, she had spelled her rooms to resemble the ocean, including the water. She sighed, she would miss this place, where she had been for many thousands of years. Hydraia opened her mouth and emitted a call, it sounded like a whale. A soft pale blue light floated into her chambers and stopped on the floor, revealing a young woman.

"Aqueous, have you heard the news?" she asked softly.

"Yes, is it true? Will you and the other gods go to Earth?" Aqueous asked.

"Yes, Suray has finally told us to go to Earth to resemble our differences." Hydraia replied, floating out of her throne and swimming slowly around the room.

"So do you understand what I am asking of you?" she asked the younger girl.

"I think I do." Aqueous sighed.

"I'm asking you to take my place while I am gone, I trust that everything will be in order when I return. I trust you fully, don't disappoint me." Hydraia said, softly but firmly.

Aqueous curtsyed deeply. "I won't, and I accept gratefully."

"Good, at least you know how everything should run, after being my head Advisor for so many years." Hydraia said, floating back to her throne.

"It has been enjoyable to work for you, are you going to leave now?" she asked.

"Yes, I must. Take care Aqueous, I know you'll do well." Hydraia smiled.

"Thankyou Hydraia, I'll be watching." she winked.

Hydraia nodded and started spinning her hand in a circle, a whirlpool appeared and Hydraia waved goodbye, jumping into it. She was going to Earth.

Celestine stood in her chambers, she was part of the sky, that was her life, but to be on Earth? Very worrying for her, she was very reluctant to leave her home in the sky. She sighed and held her palm of her right hand up, a beam of white light shot from it and whisked away. Seconds later a different, pale yellow light flew into the room, revealing her daughter, Serenity.

"Serenity, I'm sure you know what is being done to the gods." Celestine said.

"Yes Mother, you're being sent to Earth." Serenity replied.

"So you must know what I must do."

"Yes Mother, you must find someone to take your place while you are gone."

"And I have chosen you, my dear daughter. I know you will do well, you get it from me. I trust you'll keep things in the proper order."

"Yes Mother. I thank you, and accept the position with a prepared heart." Serenity answered, curtsying deeply to her mother.

"Goodbye my dear daughter, take care of yourself, and my position." Celestine said, waving softly to her before jumping off her balcony, into the waiting world below.

Alno'dra sat quietly in his throne, listening to the murmers of the other gods as they left the council chambers, or spoke with others. For several minutes remained seated, with his eyes closed and his hands pressed together in front of his mouth. Patiently sitting to his right was Ky'rali, his aide and the one chosen to take his seat for the year ahead. Despite having all the information that Alno'dra had requested her to bring, she knew better then to interrupt his thoughts.

Wordlessly, Alno'dra stood up and moved from the chambers, Ky'rali on his heels. "Is everything prepared for my arrival on Earth?" He asked in a quietly.

"Yes. Everything is in order." Ky'rali said as she moved up next to him. "Your housing, job listing, birth records, and anything else you should need to start with is waiting for you."

"And, what of you?"

"Sir?"

"Are you prepared for the job of sitting on the council for the year?" Alno'dra opened the door to his living quarters and entered. The walls were lined with various mirrors of every shape and size. Each one a window to the past.

"While I am honored, I still think that there are others who are better suited for replacing you. Others that can handle the council with your same tact."

"Perhaps there are, but non of them know the council members like you do. Most of your collegues have never seen a council meeting." Alno'dra spoke while staring into one of the mirrors. A ghostly image from centuries ago was displayed on the surface. "You, on the other hand, have been at my side the whole time. You have been able to judge many of the people that will take over, and you have all of the information from every meeting on hand. The others may be able to handle the council, but you are the only one that knows the council."

Ky'rali's spirits visibly lifted at the praise and reassurance. Alno'dra walked over and gave Ky'rali a light kiss on the forehead, an act that made her blush slightly. With a smile Alno'dra stepped into the surface of a tall mirror, and disappeared down to his new life.

"Are you almost ready, Serress?" asked Beatrix as she began to walk through the dimly lit palace like place towards the throne. "Heh..." Beatrix laughed outloud before begining again, "My little sister is off to save the world from complete destruction." "Yeah, I'm alsmost ready," I replied as I finished up putting on the jewls I was used to wearing (silver earings with a black diamond circle on the inside) and decided it wouldn't be too wierd to humans if i wore them on earth. I was slightly conserned about the souls that may get lost and become haunting ghosts, but felt slightly better leaving my sister in charage. After all, she was my older sister and had been my longest and closest councelor. "Alright, let's go over this again", I began, "you have to remember, this is very important, you have to change the ink every day so the pen can write the souls location. You must also remember to use my red staff for the dark relm's gate, and my blue one for the lower heaven's gate. Oh, yes, don't forget to never use the white one unless traveling to earth and back, because if you try to open a gate with it, it will open a gate to earth somewhere in the New England reigon where people will walk through, unknowingly, and end up here. We do not want that. And don't get the red one when going to earth because then it will cause a portal that will swallow the whole earth in a hell of chaos that will only be made worse by the human's fleeing from the escaped demons. And don't forget to..." "I know!" Beatrix said, "Don't forget to let the spells flow throw me, not try and control them," she said finishing my sentence. I could tell she was getting tired of me worrying and realized things would be in good enough hands. "Sorry," I said, feeling slightly guilty for not holding my sister in higher regard enough that I felt completely safe leaving her incharge. "Well... are you ready?" Beatrix asked? "Yes" I replied almost instantly when I realized that I hadn't picked out a name and didn't have my papers. "Oh no! I forgot..." "I've got them right her somewhere, i think," Beatrix said as she picked her hand up and tapped her finger on a soul and it scurried off, it soon returned with a stack of papers on it's shiney ball for an entire body (head and all). "Thanks, James," Beatrix said. She then handed my my papers. "Wait..." I said as I bagan to search through it. "what's my name?" "I don't know." "Well how about yours, Beatrix? Yeah, that's it, I'll be Beatrix on earth," I said after thinking for a while. I glanced at the papers and the name Beatrix Âme came onto the paper. "You've got to teach me how to do that later, Sis." Beatrix said with a smile. "No time now," I replied, "I have to go." With that I gave her a quick family kiss on the cheek. I grabbed the white staff and pointed it toward the ground. There was a bright blast of light and I was gone. I looked down as I flew through the air and watched trees get closer and closer until they were green blurs for less than a second and I hit the ground with a thud. As many times as I had done that I had never gotten used to it. I picked up the white staff and pointed it toward the sky. Another portal opened, but this time i threw the staff up into it. "Well" I thought outloud," I guess I'm human now. Well I hope this body Beatrix made is earthly enough. I suppose it would be, she's been down here alot more than I have. And so it begins."

Etemaii laughed suddenly as one of the goddesses walked by him. Ichicko stood by his side quietly, a little startled by the god's sudden behavior. "Uh.. sir?" the demi-god asked shakily. "What is it?" he suddenly snapped, annoyed by the interupption. "May I ask what has amused you so?"

"No, but you did anyway." "My apologies." "No matter. But I've done this before. Haven't you noticed?" "Yes, sir. I still don't understand it, though." Etemaii laughed again, now at Ichicko. "Pitiful. I'm surprised at myself for leaving you in charge."

The boys face lit up. Being a bigger part of the council, even if it meant being a stand-in, was exciting for him. The desire for power drove him to become so anxious. "Really sir? Do you mean it?" "Yeah, yeah. No joke this time."

"I won't let you down!" he practically squeeled. "Calm down, Ichicko. You'll embarrass me."

The perfectly smooth floor shook suddenly as Etemaii disappeared, leaving the demi-god to himself.

"Nilelea! Nilelea! Have you heard the news?" shouted Helliki, who ran excitedly towards the goddess. "Of course I heard the news. I attended the council meeting, unlike you." At this, the young girl stopped before her, quietly looking at the ground. "Where were you?" she asked after a pause.

"I had a... a problem with mother." Helliki still did not return Nilelea's gaze. "Your mother? Isn't she dead yet?" she said passively, walking into her room. Helliki followed, surprised by Nilelea's lack of caring. "No, she isn't dead!" she protested, "And in fact, she's doing just fine now!" "Then what was the problem?"

"Th- ... hmm.."

She didn't answer. "Back to the news?" "Yes, of course ma'am. Who will be your stand-in during your year on Earth?" "You." "Me?" "Yes. You. I trust you."

The young girl gasped, then began to grin widely. Not many had earned the Wind Goddess's trust. This was a great responsibilty for her, and she knew she had better not dissappoint her. "I am truly honored. I shall not let you down," she said in a calm tone, gracefully masking her glee.

"Alright then. I'll see you in a year. Good luck." She disappeared in a gust of wind, the clouds on her walls swirling around.

Kagami leaned on the glass that separated him from the rest of the world. He peered out over the clouds and the doves that enjoyed his rooftop. He loved the sound that they made, it made him smile.

He heard sandals knocking on the white pearly floor and turned, a serene smile on his delicate features.
"I'm so glad you came to bid me farewell, Artemis." the God's voice may have sounded weak, but he had enough kindness to settle and fight.

"Of course I came, I also wanted to know wh--" the angel was cut short by a soft laugh from the young God before him.
"What's so funny, Sir?"
"It's obvious I'm leaving you in charge, my friend." Kagami smiled sweetly and bounced on his heels, continuing to look out of the window.

Artemis sighed and smiled, he loved Kagami dearly but sometimes he acted very immaturely and forgot his position.

"Well, I must be going, wish me luck, friend."

"Of course."

The place was dimly lit, yet it was hot. The tempters had dramatically changed. Still, it'd get just a small bit hotter. Continuing to walk through the ground became more dried and cracked. Turning she continued to fallow the path of which Nouji had left for her.

"You've really chosen to have left me in charged." the voice echoed, cool and deep.

Bixia fell down to her knees, bowing, she nodded slightly. "Of course, you are a dear friend."

"I see..." He stood, slightly wavering. It was the first time he had stood in over two hundred years. His frail body had never the need.

Thrusting up, Bixia ran to help him. Leaning upon her for balance he drew one of his long silverish hairs, holding it in between his long black nails he blew slightly. Letting it float it hit the top of the chest of dolls then wrapped it's self around it. The small, childishly made doll fell to the floor and almost as if a puppet on strings it came to them. She watched in great amusement as it came towards them stopping at their feet it sat.

"I shall return up wards." he patted her lightly, "Take this doll with you, remember to return. Humans can be...Some what persuasive in lying when need be. I do not which to have too much contact with the Gods, Goddess, nor their represent-ivies. Understood?"

Bixia nodded, "Yes, of course."

"When shall you depart, Lady Bixia?"

"Right after everything is set up." She hugged him, raising one arm from around his waist she rimmed the out line of one of his seven ram-like horns. Smiling lightly, she helped him out of the chamber. The doll fallowing behind them.

"And do you think that this is such a good ideal?"
"Yes, of course."

Vijon grunted, "Alright, rather this then. Is it such a wise ideal for you to be doing this?"

He began to laugh.

"Yes, of course it is. Where has your trust in me gone?"

His eye brow raised, Vijon had to think. He hadn't any. "Who, may I ask, are you leaving in charge."

"You."

Vijon started choking on his own air, the electrical wings on his back stopped fluttering. No air was allowed to pass through him. The electrons he was composed of stopped flowing. Raiu laugh deepened. Waving it off three, slightly transparent, yellow electric charges flew threw the air. hitting Vijon in the forehead, he stopped choking. Wings flowing, beating, breathing. He returned to normal.

"Gah! I'm happy that you think it's funny!"

"Sorry, my bad." his laughing subsided. "Don't get into a puff, or you'll go poof and turn into a punch of pretty sparkling lights. And then who'll I turn to? It takes you too long to gather your-self back"

Vijon grunted. Going through a silent stare, Raiu's gaze averted it's self. Looking back out to the mirrored room. All the mirrors reflected quickly, they glared. Nothing seen and no light being reflected the room turned dark. No light seen but that emitting around them. Two bright lights flickered. They stilled and everything seemed to drift. Strangely, there strange sounds. As if glass was cracking...The mirrors.

"I'm counting on you."

"I understand."

One of the lights went dim, and charged it's self out. Disappearing. Back on earth, a man appeared. Coming out of the gray alley he walked merging into the crowds. Becoming lost amongst the others.

Sadeijah sat silently on the her throne, eyes the color turquoise blue sparkled with a ting of silver; as she watched the small children play tag threw her large crystalized ball. Her head tilt to the side as a smile grace her supple lips. She simply adored children with a passion, their love was the purest of all. ?Milady it is time for departure...? came the strong but gentle voice of a young man in his mid twenties. Sadeijah lazy turn her gaze to him, her eyes softening at the sight of his handsome face. ?Helios?she muttered , he smiled at her wistfully. She still loved him dearly, but they could never be.

He offered his hand in a courtly gesture, she grasped politely and stood up. Her long gown fell with slosh and pooled around her, her long dark blue hair trail behind her back falling inches from her thigh.

"Home, sweet home," Etemaii chuckled, staring at a large two-story house just outside of a large city. It was on a mountain side at the end of a long, winding path. He could keep an eye for anything interesting from where he was stationed. He breathed in the city's smog, then laughed as he walked inside.

"Now, to check it out."

The inside was very unkept, dusty, and the furniture was all over the place. That was just the enterance. The kitchen had broken glass and knives all over the floor. The counters were home to mounds of dirt and rotton food. The refridgerator hummed in a low buzzing sound. There was nothing in it.

The living room had broken picture frames and ripped couches. It even had a fold out chair on its side. The fireplace was filled with dust and what looked like a pair of dead rats.

Etemaii didn't bother looking in the bathrooms or lounge.

He walked up the old, creaking stairs instead, wanting to know what his bedroom was like. When he walked in, he smiled wide. It was just like his old room. It reaked of crumbled buildings and oil. His bed looked like a bunch of rocks sticking out of a tree; earthquakes like those he only made in the olden days, when Earth was new. "Ahh.. How I miss those times.." he whispered, jumping onto the bed.

He knew there were more rooms to explore, but he didn't bother. "I'll look at 'em later. Oh! I almost forgot.." he snickered, looking over to his desk, ".. my oodles of cash." On the greyish desk were four large sacks, obviously full of money. "Thank you, my assistant, Ichicko. This money will be put to good use."

~ ~

Nilelea walked down the sidewalk after briefly endulging herself in the tour of her new home. It was small, but suitable. She had left everything but a jacket and some randomly picked clothes. It was raining. She had no umbrella, but she didn't care. She descretly used her power over the wind to keep the rain fall around her, not on her. Nobody noticed.

How ignorant humans are. Oh well. The more oblivious to those in their midst they are, the easier it is for me, Nilelea thought to herself. Suddenly, a young man, who looked in his mid-twenties, bumped into her. "Oh, sorry," he mumbled, standing infront of her. His umbrella was close to flooding onto her clothes. "Watch it, foolish.." she trailed off. To call someone a 'mortal' was a stupid mistake that could blow her cover, but it would be easy to make at first.

Hell, she hadn't been there for more than an hour or two.

He looked at her strangly. "Foolish what? .. You talk weird, lady." "Shut it.. jerk. You don't have any respect." "You talk like my grandmother. Always blabbing about how I don't respect people of age. But you don't look old, 'young lady'," he added sarcastically. "Must I beat the shit out of you for you to understand?" she said calmly.

"Look, I don't know what your problem is, but--" He was cut off by the loud pounding of thunder. Raiu must be having fun right now. Wonder why he's making such a commotion. And I wonder why Hydraia made it rain so heavily... Nilelea wondered. "Should we continue this inside?" "Continue? What?" "This.. discussion. I don't know," the boy said, scratching his head.

The thunder rang out loudly again, and a sudden streak of lightning lit up the sky. Maybe they're bored. Like I am. Maybe I can create some tornadoes when I finish talking with this boy. "Dang that's loud. Come on, let's go inside. The best coffee shop in town is only a few stores up," he told her, dragging her after him. "Hey!" she protested, but still, she followed. Inside, they grabbed a table.

"You want anything.. uh.. Hey! We haven't properly introduced ourselves. Hi. I'm Cliff." "Ni-... Nicole. Call me Nikki.. uh, Clilff." "Well Nikki, want anything to eat? They have bagels here, along with coffee." "No, I'm fine Cliff." He looked at her quizzically. "Okay. So.. Oh yeah. What were you gonna call me? A foolish what?"

Nilelea paused. She stared at him. Her piercing hazel eyes examined him. Interesting. There is nothing special about him. Nothing at all. And yet, here I am. The wind goddess sitting in a coffee shop with this boy while outside a storm rages. I'm still not sure why. Uncomfortable, Cliff let out a cough and looked at the wall. "Uh... Well?" "Hmm?" "A foolish what?" "Oh. I was going to call you a foolish ass, but I thought stupid jerk was more.. polite. To get my point across, you know."

He nodded, laughing with relief. Then he got up to get himself a coffee, once again offering to get her something. "Sure. Get me a.. plain bagel. Nothing on it." He nodded, smiling, then stood in the short line. She watched him. He was beginning to wonder why he had dragged Nilelea, or Nikki, along. He looked back at her, but quickly averted his gaze as he saw her looking back.

How odd these humans act. Especially this boy. I wonder why.. The thunder boomed outside in the flurry of rain and streaks of light pouring from the dark sky above. Some of the children with their mothers in the coffee shop shrieked when the thunder pounded. Others were glued to the large glass walls, watching everything swirl around. At least children appreciate the Gods' and Goddesses' work. The adults see it as nothing more than a pain.

At that thought, Cliff returned with his steaming coffee and her bagel. "Mm.. Smells good," he muttered. He smiled at her as she picked a small piece of her bagel off and chewed on it timidly. "You look like a squirrel," he chuckled. "A squirrel?" Nilelea asked, staring at him with disappointment. "Well, the way you eat. It's just silly, that's all. No big deal, really," he reassured her, staring at the floor.

OOC: Wow.. Not much for poor Etemaii. Oh well. Oh, and I just felt like making it a rainy, stormy day. ^__^

The day was filled with brilliant rays of fragmented colors that casted down to the earth. The earth was being surveyed by Suray as she peered out her crystal window. Lost in thought, trying to remember past communications with the human male that cought Suray's eyes.

"Humm...someone can catch your eyes, but not your heart............but what shall i do.....let him be apart of my experiment?" Suray said in a playful tone.

Suddenly a muscular young pale body appeared in Surey's layer. His appearance was so heavenly and pure and Surey loved that about him. He bowed infront of her and smiled joyfully.

"Milady Suray..I am sad yet glad that you are leaving......you finally get to leave this place and live on earth...where many adventures wait for you.....sad to know that I will not get to see your beauty and happiness that you bring to me..." Miru said still kneeling on the marble white floor.

'Oh my dear Miru..I am proud to leave you in charge and sad to see us depart..you are a great companien....but head my warnig if you screw up...I won't hesitate to make your existance dissapear from the face of the universe.....but I know you won't...plus I am taking my leave as of now.." Suray said as she prepared to fly down to earth and live as a human.

"Milady....take care and one more thing.....why did you choose to be married to a human?" Miru said in fear.

"Do not question my actions....later you will understand...now please be about and do you job." Suray said in a stern voice.

Without a second thought Suray jumped out the crystal window and flew down like an angel. Miru watched until she was out of sight.

With the sharp cracking of twigs and branches underfoot, Astaroth landed on the ground and closed his wings slightly. With a muttered incantation, his garb changed from one of a God's regalia to a long black coat and boots, with gray silk pants and undershirt. Pushing a length of nightdark hair behind his ear, Astaroth smiled. Earth...it had indeed been some time since he had descended to this mortal prison in person. The air was crisp and clear, the morning bright amidst the woodland setting where Astaroth stood. Waving one hand almost absently at the sky, clouds began to gather almost immediately and a light rain began to fall. Of course, the other gods and goddesses would feel the resonance of the storm and know that it was him, but the God of Darkness didn't care. Most of them would play by the rules, regardless.

Almost immediately, it began to rain. Astaroth's smile faded somewhat -- so, there were others attempting to alter the weather besides himself. Well, he had expected that. At least most of the gods and goddesses appeared to be in the same region. Astaroth would have to keep his eye out for them, since it served his cause to stir up trouble. Glancing idly eastward, Astaroth noticed buildings rising in the distance. Unconcerned, he retracted his wings and began to walk. Lost in his plotting, Astaroth failed to watch where he was going -- the solid oak wall stopped him in his tracks rather efficiently.

Rubbing his injured nose, annoyed but not hurt, Astaroth took stock of his situation. He had run smackbang into the wall of a small cottage, set near the border between woodland and city. It had a tidy garden and a large willow tree hanging over the doorway. It seemed no one was home, but it was definitely inhabited...and....Astaroth thought he could sense an odd sort of energy in the general area. Shrugging to himself, Astaroth continued into the city.

OOC: Hope you don't mind me bumping into your house, Spiritbreeze :P. Who knows, Astaroth might catch up with Droana if you like -- I planned on intertwining with a few others at some point.

P.S. Aqua, is there a specific location (i.e. a city on earth) where we're all supposed to be, or should we make it a fictional city?

'Ouch.' She had forgotten shoes. Droana wasn't used to wearing them, and of course had forgotten she needed them here in the city. She would have to buy a pair.

After wandering a bit, she saw a sign hanging above a small shop, full of shoes. Entering, she browsed through her choices, until one of the clerks approached her. "Excuse me, do you need help?" she asked. Droana pointed to a pair of simple slip on black shoes,"could I try a pair of those on?" "Alright. In what size?" "oh. I don't know."

The woman looked confused for a moment. "You... don't know? Nevermind, I'll just get you a pair." Dissapearing to the back of the store, she returned a moment later with the shoes. Sitting down, Droana pulled a shoe out of the box and slipped it on her foot. Then the woman noticed her bare feet; the goddess noticed her eyebrows arch. "They fit nicely. I think I'll buy these." she said to the clerk. After paying for the shoes, she sat down again and slipped them on. Then she left the store.

It was raining outside. 'They're at it already.' she thought, shaking her head. Without an umbrella, she would soon be soaked. Droana didn't mind. The rain was nice. But a lot of people had dissapeared into shops and other shelters; humans just didn't seem to enjoy weather. 'oh well.'

Droana entered a coffee shop, and looked around. Sitting down by the window, she spotted Nilelea talking to a human. Deciding not to disturb them, she gazed out the window, watching the rain pour down.

Zhuiqiu continued to walk down the street. Everything had already been set up for him, during the god's meeting as a matter of fact. Turning the curve and waiting for the light to turn red. It was raining. And he hadn't picked up an umbrella for the day. So instead, over his head he held the AA-Press paper.

The black sun glasses he had picked up dropped slightly. Shifting his few upwards they fell off completely. A bright light coming from over head. A sun shower? Or rather a burst of light. he though. Laughing for a second he moved on with a crowd. One lady catching his attention he stopped, midnight blue curls moving underneath her umbrella. The lady was stunning, and magnificently beautiful. Zhuiqiu shook his head smiling to him self he walked along with the rest of the crowd. Hearing a crack he realized the glasses were gone. But made no recognition nor motion to this fact. The sun burst disappeared.

Walking up the stairs to the collage. He stopped at the door, staring slightly three minutes late. With a wave of his hand Zhuiqiu turned the clocks hand's back by 5 minutes. It was just enough time to get there. Not to mention; for any of the normal staff to realize that the clock was wrong. Knowing it was human to always come upon an alibi; he'd have one.

Heading in, he opened the class room door. The room he was teaching was 108. Zhuiqiu rather liked the number, in the fact that it was divisible by three the man walked in. Fixing his red tie as he entered the room quieted. A small, badly carved, paper air play flew bye. Flying out into the hall he slammed the door. Going over to his desk a women raised her hand. Zhuiqiu glanced at her.

People were dragging mud every where. It was annoying, since she'd be the one to clean up. But Grey really didn't mind. She found it rather cute that people could be so ignorant that could make a day pleasant. Smiling she hummed to her self. Grey had been the one who had spent the longest time on Earth since the meeting. Topping a total of three full days, 6 hours, and 5 minutes. Sher loved the occupation of which she had chosen by Nouji. The doll in her book bag holding bye as reminder.

A little boy and girl walked in. Both by their mother's side they came with her to the counter, slipping in books to the return. The women smiled, waving with her free hand.

"Konban wa." the women said.

The two children looking upwards. Trying to see, but to no avail.

"Konnichiwa."
"Atarashii?"
"Sou desu."
"Hai, O-Namae Wa?"
"Grey, Maya Grey."
" Yasashii O-Name. Watashi, Lee Yume."
"Sou! O-Genki De---" Grey was cut off.

The two children pulled on the mother's dress. They moved impertinently, saying words that Grey could not understand. The mother's reply was rather short simple, and clear. She nodded. "Soyo, Soyo."

"Sayonara. O-Daijin." The women smiled, patting her children's heads.
"O-Daijin. Sarabada."

The women waved good-bye, as did Grey in return. The mother and the two children then disappeared behind shelves. Grey sighed, happily. It was the first conversation she had had within her time there. Even if it was short, it was sweet of the women to notice her. How beautifully people act.

Sadeijah stepped from the dais with grace. The white gown flowed behind her, the thigh high split on her right exposed her long curvy leg with each step taken. The dress clung to her body like a second skin and draped dangerously low at the breast. Her hair was pined up in a braided crown upon her head why the back lay out and flowing like stream down her exposed back. Helios couldn?t take his eyes off her she was truly beautiful.

The way her hips swayed with each move she made, and how she held her head up with such a high stature and elegance. They paced down the barren halls in pure silence, the sound oh her heels clacked against the marbled floors was all that could be heard echoing in the empty halls. They came to a stop at a pair of large doors, Helios waved his hand before them, the twin doors began to open with a loud squeak. A strong gust of wind swept pass them. ?These were the doors to the mortal world, they have not been open for several centuries? thought Sadeijah, her large hues relished in the beauty of the sky.

It was evening already and the sun was setting into a pool of oranges, pinks and purples.
Sadeijah smiled wistfully at Helios, he gazed at her momentarily before smiling back at her bitterly.
He didn?t want he to leave but it was Surays orders to. Sadeijah now stood before Helios, she glared up at him with concern in her eyes, she threaded her slender fingers in his corn silk red hair. ?My sweet Helios don?t be so gloomy? replied sadeijah with a pout, a small smile embellished Helios lips.

Sadeijah tilted her head to the side letting her long bangs fall into view as she ran her fingers from his corn silk hair down to his flaws skin across his warm lips. ?Ill be back before you even notice im gone? she whispered gently, as she stood on the tip of her toes and let her lips graze his bottom lip in a fleeting kiss. Blush washed over Helios olive skin tinting his skin with crimson glow. She stepped back and winked at him, he stood their in awe before winking back at her. ?Well its time for my departure?, ?will you not be seeing me off?? she implied gazing at the still blushing Helios.

Helios nodded and paced over to the large open doors, he glanced down into the vast scenery blow. It was simply breath taken, Sadeijah stood before him once again and gave him a warm embrace ?I entrust you with my throne Halios...guard it will beloved? she whispered into his ear before letting go of the embrace. She stepped back from him at the edge of the twin doors the breeze brush pas her combing threw her hair and riffled her white gown. Both her arms reached out and her head lolled back, her body plunged backwards into the calm sky. Her white gown spread out like a parachute and her long hair broke free from its bonds and washed over her in a stream of dark blue waves.

Helios watched her attentively his green eyes narrowing sightly.?If you should ever need me, visit me with in my dreams I shall guild you from their!? She exclaimed then blew him a kiss and waved goodbye. Her body twisted into a back flip and bursting into cluster of beautiful white doves scattering a cross the sky.

Having walked towards the heart of the city for ten minutes thus far, Astaroth frowned at his surroundings. Nothing of real interest -- just a few mortals milling around like sheep in a pasture and the ceaseless rain overhead. After walking for several more minutes, however, Astaroth noticed that the concentration of people in the surrounding environment had begun to grow. The rainwater was soaking his clothes; quickly sweeping a gaze across the metropolis, the God of Darkness settled his gaze upon a homely-looking coffee shop. Hurrying across to the door, he swept inside.

The place was warm, at the very least. Aside from that, it was your typical coffee shop, with display racks full of bagels, donuts and the like. Astaroth took a seat in one of the booths, turning away from the few people in the shop in order to weave a spell that would remove most of the rainwater from his clothes. Now quite dry, Astaroth ran a hand through his hair and let his gaze wander once more.

To his surprise, he found himself in the presence of not one, but two of the goddesses. Neither of which he knew well, of course -- but then again, Astaroth hadn't had much interaction with any of the other deities. One was staring absently out the nearby window, while the other was in a conversation with a young mortal man. One of the two particularly caught his eye, her long dark brown hair flowing down her back like the water in a stream. Astaroth allowed himself a thin smile. You've become so used to the mortals' impure thoughts. Imagine being in bed with a goddess... laughed the God of Darkness in his head. No need to start thinking like a mortal now...not in a game of the gods.

OOC: Well, since this is in Japan, I'll just let my characters speak in translated English. I don't want to take the time to type it up in Japanese (even if I know some).

IC:

"Thank you. I'll make sure no one can trace me to you," Etemaii smiled. The small old man before him nodded and went back inside. The God laughed to himself. "How fun this mortal plain has been. How fun it will be." He continued to laugh as he walked out into the street.

It was a considerablly poor day. It was raining hard, and lightning flashed while thunder boomed. But he couldn't help but laugh. The people around him all stared at him as they walked by. A small child, who looked about 5 years old, giggled while holding her balloon and said, "Look'it the crazy man, mommy! Look'it him laff!" "Happy for you to notice, my dear!" he smiled back. The young girl's mother, disgusted and practically afraid of the strange acting man before her, pulled her daughter's hand close and dragged her away quickly.

"I'm not that bad, Julie! Honest!" Etemaii yelled after her. Julie was a young waitress he had run into before. She recognized him.

The rain poured harder. It was coming down so fast he could've sworn it was hail that fell from the sky. "If I don't find refuge," he muttered to himself, "I might get a serious dent in my head." He walked by a coffee shop, but recognized the faces of, not one, not two, but three of his fellow dieties. He paused, mouth agape, then ran on.

Running into other gods and goddesses THIS early would be "inconvienient". Damn, that was close. How could they have all gathered there? Was it on purpose? Are some of them all ready grouping..? No.. It could not be. One of them was, of course, Astaroth. He would not be plotting with the Goddesses of Wind and Earth.. No. It must have been coincidence...

Since that coffee shop was now out of the question (for the time being), Etemaii stumbled upon a local bar. "Oooh... Looks fun." Upon entering, a beer bottle hit the wall next to his head. "Who.... aarre YoouU?" a drunken man staggered over. Etemaii's cheerful... and somewhat disturbing fronting personality disappeared as the man neared.

He growled as the man touched his shirt. "I.. I'll ask ya agaaiiiin.. Pally! Whooo..oo...--" "Am I? I'll tell you who I am. I am the one that will leave you dead in an ally. I am the one that will eat your flesh and dine on your heart and lungs and mind. I am the one that will dispose of your very soul, piece by piece until all that's left is your simple shell."

The bar went silent. "MMmmkay.. Youuu canna come i- HIC- in..." Etemaii walked over to the bartender who, awkwardly, pulled out a glass and smiled. "What'll ya have?" "Water." "Water? Boy, for someone as.. Um.. Right." The bartender didn't finish his thought when he saw the way Etemaii stared at him.

The young man sitting across from Etemaii watched him. He watched until Etemaii asked why he was watching him. "You're different." Etemaii's eyebrows raised. He knew that this boy could not have discovered him. Not yet. "You aren't like the other trash that comes in here. You got a more.. 'respectable' stature. What are ya? A business man? Politician?" "To some extent, young man. What's your name?"

"Adam." "Well, Adam, care to chat?" he asked, a devilish smile spreading across his face. "Sure." "Then come. Take a walk with me..."

~ ~

".. And THEN he says... Hey, Nikki? You listening?" "Hmm? Oh, oh yes. Your friend tells you..?" "Yeah. He tells me.." Cliff continued to talk while Nilelea drifted off into thought. She recognized the presences of the "others" in the small coffee shop. The God of Darkness and Goddess of Earth. Why they were there, she didn't know. But she knew they weren't there for her. They ran into eachother on accident.

A mere coincidence.

".. Isn't that hilarious?!" Cliff finished. Nilelea smiled, then laughed a shallow laugh. But it was enough to satisfy Cliff. "So. What now?" "I'm not sure. The storm has not let up, and I'm sure walking home would be bad for you since, oddly, you have no umbrella." "You don't have one either, Nikki," Cliff pointed out.

"Yes, I know. But it does not bother me as it seems to bother you." "Hey! Are you saying I don't like the rain?" "No. I'm just saying it was YOU that dragged us into the coffee shop. I would have been fine to explore more without finding shelter." "Yeah, I guess you're right. About the first thing. I think walking through this storm would've bugged you eventually."

They fell silent. "Cliff?" "Yeah, Nikki?" "What do you do?" Cliff stared, a bit startled. "Oh.. Oh! Of course! I can't believe I didn't tell you sooner," he chuckled. "Well, I don't work.. Much. I get part-time jobs, but mostly, I'm taking classes." "Classes?" "Yeah, down at the local college. Why, you interested?" "Sure." "Okay, then! When the rain lets up, we'll check it out." Nilelea nodded.

"Will you excuse me for a sec?" "Um.. sure," she said, not sure why he was leaving so suddenly. "'Kay. Be right back," he muttered, running off. Oh. Restroom. But this was her chance. Her chance to converse with another goddess. The first time in her time on Earth. She walked over to Droana and said hello.

"Ah, hello, Wind Goddess," she said, offering her a seat. "Isn't it a bit strange for such formalities here?" Nilelea chuckled. "I suppose you're right." "What brings you here? To this coffee shop, I mean." "The rain, isn't it obvious? Isn't that why you're here? Or is it the mortal?" "Both, I suppose. He dragged me here when our arguement was interrupted." "I see."

They were silent. "Have you noticed the third presence?" "Ah.. The God of Darkness, over there in the corner?" Nilelea nodded. "Shall we say hello?" Droana smiled.

Droana's thoughts had been interrupted when Nilelea approached her. The goddess had asked if she had noticed the god that had also entered the coffee shop. They agreed to join him.

Standing, Droana and Nilelea headed towards the booth where the God of Darkness sat. "Hello Astaroth, how'd you happen to come by this place? Nilelea and I noticed you here, and wanted to say hello. Mind if we sit?"

Astaroth did the best he could to act surprised. He rose quickly to his feet and offered a smile. "Of course not, of course not! Make yourselves comfortable, dears. How nice of you to come and keep me company!" As Nilelea and Droana sat, the God of Darkness returned to his seat and leaned back idly, resting his arms along the top of the booth.

"It's good to see you both," said Astaroth fluidly, his voice dripping with charm. "To answer your question, mistress of Nature..." here he inclined his head towards Droana, "...I came here to escape from the rain, and to rest for a bit. Odd, that we all seem to have converged at the same place..." Astaroth trailed off and raised his eyebrows slightly. "But no matter, I suppose. I trust the rain was your doing, Nilelea? A nice touch, if I do say so myself..."

"And you, beauty," the God of Darkness switched his gaze from Nilelea to Droana. "I must say that while I am familiar enough with the Goddess of Wind, I have had very little interaction with you. As you know, I am Astaroth God of Darkness." He rose and bowed to Droana, keeping his deep violet eyes locked on hers. They sparkled with an unearthly light.

Alucard the god of war stoop upon the marble floor and watched the others leave. He would have been damned that he would let Suray when that argument, but for now he had other plans. He walked towards the door and took one good look at the earth.

"How idoitic this thing is...how papethic this world is....they will all burn....those damn weaklings...." Alucard said as he turned to fire.

The fire headed towards earth and landed in a decent looking home. Once his fire shaped body touched the floor of the house, the house became engulfed with his fire.
