Ohkami, Deedlit and Toorima, this is your last chance to change your class to what I suggested. If you wish to do this, please do so now and PM me telling me you have done so. STORYLINE: There is only one continent on the planet known as Terra. This continent is called Osenia. By the will of humankind, the continent has a border through the middle. Seperating Good from Evil. On the left side, the Country of Kanin, a Country filled with Darkness dwells. On the right side, the Country of Zaber, a country filled with Light lives. Kanin (Dark) hates thier neighbours, Zaber (Light). Zaber, just turns thier heads at the note of Kanin and ignores they even exist. Kanin was planning to start a war against Zaber. The country of Dark were just rallying all of thier troops when an army from across the world deployed troops from large ships and enslaved the whole Dark race. We will call these the Barbarians. The Barbarians are coming for Zaber next. There is only one problem. Zaber has no idea what's happening because of the great wall along the border. Only a singular Kanine (one who is from Kanin) lived. And has decided to notify the Leader of Zaber. He must go on a quest through all of Zaber, a land full of magic, swords and monsters. People may not take very kindly to this young Kanine. Why? All the Zabans (one who is from Zaber) have one thing in common. They all have light coloured hair and eyes. This Kanine is from Kanin. His hair is Jet Black with Dark Black eyes. Chapter 1: The Grouping Of Heroes To Be My Post: Karst walked from the great wall to the nearest town. He looked at the sign above the gate. It said 'Welcome to the Town of Soloer'. "Thanks." mumbled Karst. He heard an unfamiliar voice reply to his un neccessary remark. "Excuse me?" It was the gate guard. There were two actually. The other spoke up. "Do you wish to get in?" Karst nodded. "May I see your Zaban Pass, please?" The guard put out his hand expecting the young boy to put something in it. "Sir, I am not from around here and I'm afraid my town was raided. The bandits stole my pass." The guard looked suspiciously to the other guard. The other guard nodded. "That's okay, come on in. Kalvin! Open the gate!" the guard yelled at what looked like thin air. The gate opened. Maybe it wasn't thin air. "Thank you, sir. Is there some sort of map of the town around?" Karst asked politely as possible. "Yes", replied the guard. "Over in that building." Karst smiled and walked through. The first town he had seen in a week. And it was Zaban. Neat. Alot of things were different here. Though Karst had noticed that on the way through the forest anyways. Lot's of light coloured objects. Flowers, cheerful people really. Not to say that Kanines were grumpy. Karst picked up a small map and walked in the the tavern. He asked the bar tender if there was a place he could post a notice and the man pointed to a window. Karst got a paper and quill and wrote the message. Villagers of Zaban, Warrior looking for recruits to help on long adventure. Money included. Deedlit
Iris walked casually through the streets of the village, her dark read cloak swishing behind her as she stepped. From the depths of her hood, her green eyes took in everything and everyone around her. Most of the villagers recongnized her since she visited once in a while, and as she passed and they gave her a wide berth, none wanting anything to do with her. She didn't mind and pretended not to notice. After walking some distance along the cobblestone road she found the inn that she always stayed in when she visited. She opened the large wooden door and stepped inside. She raised her hands and removed her hood, allowing her eyes to become adjusted to the dim light. The patrons glanced towards the doorway when they heard it shut, but they turned back to their drinks, acting as if the person at the doorway didn't exist, as many secretly hoped. Iris walked towards the back, carrying herself with dignity, to an empty table in the corner next to her favorite window and sat down. She removed her heavy traveling cloak off her shoulders, setting it down beside her. She opened up one of her pouches and withdrew her ivory flute, full of both good, bad, and strange memories. She put it to her lips and began to play a soft melody to herself. She had played no more than three measures when something on the window caught her eye. She stopped the song abruptly and read the message. It was short, to the point, but very vague. Iris leaned back in the chair, tapping the tip of her flute against her lips, pondering the message and looking at it from all angles. She didn't know what this "long adventure" could be, and she almost thought it was a trick. But what could someone possibly gain by advertising something like this? Eventually her curiosity won out. She stood up, grabbing her cloak in one arm, gently holding her flute in her other hand, and walked up the stairs. She decided that she would ask a few questions, and if she was interested, then she would agree to go. If it was a joke, then she would leave. Simple. She arrived at the appointed door and knocked.
Venge
The sound of metal on metal echoed throughout a small area. Matthew braced his body as his uncles sword came down apon his own, almost causing the young boy to fall backwards. Matthew forced upwards, knocking his uncle off balance as he took a swing at his mentor. The uncle blocked it, but barely. Only half a millimeter closer and Matthews blade would have touched his skin. The uncle stood back some, stating that the training is over. "You've improved Matthew. I can't believe your as skilled as me and it's tooken you a shorter amount of time to do so!" "Eh, I guess I'm a fast learner, Uncle Micheal." "Well, go get some rest at the tavern. You'll need it for your later training. Next time, I'm not going so easy on you." "Hahaha...okay, I'll see you later then." Matthew began to walk to a nearby building as his uncle walked to his house. The young boy took a step inside, letting his emerald green eyes wander about, taking everything in. He sheathed his sword on his back, as the policy inside was to have all weapons sheathed or concealed, as not to instigate fights. He sat down at a table, taking a deep breath, and resting his head in his hands. As Matthew looked about, something in the window caught his eye. It was a piece of paper with some writing on it. Matthew went up to the paper and read what it said. "Warriors needed...long adventure....money included.....room three hundred two, huh? Guess, I'll check it out.." Heading towards the stairs, Matt wondered what type of adventure this would be...
Sakura
OOC: Lrb, I changed my class to Mage, even though it doesn't really change much. I'm putting it here because I'm too lazy to send you another PM. I made my post in a hurry, sorry it isn't better. I hope you don't mind that I named the bartender either. If you want me to change anything you know how to contact me [PM/MSN]. Oh, and the song's 'Angel' by Sarah McLachlin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aria stifled a yawn and inhaled deeply, letting the air fill her lungs, and sang her chromatic scales, up to the third octave, then down again. "Good Aria, now arpeggios in C." her vocal teacher, Ms. Yap said. She took another deep breath and sang every second note in the scale of C, going to the third octave in that too, then down again. Ms. Yap complimented her again and asked her to sing more scales and arpeggios. After about an hour of singing scales, she was asked to sing a proper song. "Sing your favourite song." her teacher said, sitting down. "Do you only want the chorus?" Aria questioned. "Yes, maybe I'll hear all of it when we have more time." she said. Aria nodded and started to sing. "In the arms of the angel, fly away from here, from this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you feel. You are pulled from the wreckage, Of your silent reverie. You're in the arms of the angel, may you find some comfort here." she sang sweetly. "That was beautiful, and now, it's time for you to go." Ms. Yap said, looking at the sun to judge the time. "Thanks. Seeya tomorrow!" she cried, as she grabbed her things and ran out of the building. Aria rushed through the busy streets of people, excusing herself as she bumped into people. She was headed for the building where she had her schooling. She entered and sat down greeting her teacher. "Alright Aria, for today's lessons..." Mr. Kaman said. She finished her schooling, that took up the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon. After that she had about two hours break before she had to get to her next place, which was her magical class. Aria headed towards the Tavern, which is where she usually took her rest, when she wasn't being asked to perform. She walked into the building and her eyes had to adjust to the dim lighting, compared to the bright light outside. She sat and ordered a drink of cold water, which is what she usually asked for. As she was sipping her cold beverage, she noticed something on the window that hadn't been there yesterday. She turned to the bartender. "Hey Jack, what's that?" she asked, nodding her head toward the piece of paper that was stuck to the window. She couldn't see what it said because it was facing outward. "Some guy came in, he had dark hair. He asked where he could put a notice." the bartender named Jack replied. "I'll be back in a sec." Aria said, getting up and going outside to look at the notice.
Villagers of Zaban, Warrior looking for recruits to help on long adventure. Money included. Enquire inside room 302. ,Karst
She studied it and memorised the room number. Then she went back inside. "What's the notice say? I never saw it." Jack asked. Aria took a larger sip from her drink. "He wants to recruit warriors to go on a long adventure. I think I'll go for it. I need some adventure, doing the same thing everyday's getting boring." she told him. Aria lifted the cup and drank down the rest of the water. She slid the cup over to him and put some coins on the table. "Thanks as usual, Jack. I'll seeya soon." Aria said, going up the stairs. Aria saw the numbers on the door and lifted her hand. She wondered if she should or not, she hadn't even said anything about leaving place to her parents or her teachers. But she concluded that they all would have known, they know that the one thing she really wants is to go on an adventure. So she moved her hand forward to touch the door, and knocked.
Toorima
OOC: I guess I am changing to a thief if no one minds. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The dirt crunched Irvine's feet. He had been walking for a pretty long time, because he was looking for a job, so he could get some quick cash. That was all to no avail. He needed money bad. Money...and food. His stomach rumbled at the thought of food. He hadn't eaten in he didn't know how long. Oh well, just another day in the life of Irvine Drake. Well there was always the option of stealing the money. It wouldn't be the first time that he would resort to thievery. All he would have to do is find a bar, and what a coincidence, he was right next to a tavern. He went inside and looked around. There were about 20 or so people in the small building. It was perfect. To make things easy, he would just have to start a bar fight. ?Okay,? he said to himself, ?Let?s make some money.? ?HEY FATTY!? Irvine yelled at a rather plump man that was taking a drink. ?Who, me?? the man said, pointing to himself. ?Are you talking to me?? ?Yeah I?m talking to you, FATSO!? Irvine exclaimed. That seemed to be the last straw. The man started charging and blindly punching at Irvine, so he swiftly moved out of the way, making the portly man charge into someone else by accident. ?What was that all about!?? the man that got hit exclaimed, and he punched the portly man. After that, Irvine got to a safe corner as all hell started to break loose in the bar. People started hitting, kicking biting, attempting to kill, everything. In the course of this mayhem, Irvine was walking around, pick pocketing the distracted drunks. By the time he got out of that tavern, he had handfuls of money and wallets, but he still wasn?t satisfied. He needed to make some legitimate cash for once. As he walked by another bar, he saw a piece of paper in the window. It read: Villagers of Zaban, Warrior looking for recruits to help on long adventure. Money included. Enquire inside room 302. Karst Money, adventure, and wasn't Karst a Kanin name? Finally, getting along with a Kanin, this was great. He had never really met a Kanin, and for that reason he didn?t have a grudge against them like the other Zabans did. That?s why he didn?t ever get any respect. Oh well, he had to go to room 302. He went inside and began up the steps. After he got to the right floor, he walked down a narrow hallway. His footsteps echoed as he progressed. Then he saw it, Room 302. It wasn?t really his nature to knock, so he opened the door and stepped inside.
