liubei013
Jon was actually quite impressed with Till's abilities and quietly said so to him. But Till just kept staring off into the distance. Asim left to answer his cellphone and Jim left a little after Asim came back in to go to the bathroom. Then after Jim came back and said his excuse of accidentally running a door when Alex Moore laughed. Jim got angry and countered by lifting a book and psychically throwing it at the back of Alex's head. Super-fast calculations spun through Jon's head as he figured out the most possible outcome. "Ah well..." Jon thought to himself as the book went through Alex and hit Jim instead. But then Mr. Freeman intervened and then: "Thats enough you two." Mr. Freeman Said "Sorry Mr. Freeman." "Its not me you owe an appology to." "Im sorry Jim, It wasnt polite of me to laugh." Alex said as he stuck his hand out. "Truce?" Jim, though a bit ruffled, warily shook Alex's hand. Everyone seemed to sag in relief as the conflict winded down. Then the lunch bell rang and everyone got up for a moment...until they remembered their 'special' situation.' "Mr. Freeman, has there been any provisions regarding our lunch?" Jon asked. "Hmm...that's a good question, Jon," Mr. Freeman said. Jon noticed a few people had brought their own lunches, but others did not, including Jon. "Hey, what do you guys want? I'll got buy it for you," Jon offered. "What about everyone out there heading to lunch? Won't they see you?" Aria asked softly. "Not really...because of my abilities," Jon said, grinning. He took down orders and collected their money and then approached the door. He opened it and took a deep breath. Then time dilated again as Jon boosted himself. He began to run down the hallway with inhuman speed and saw some of the 'special' students look on. He ran into the cafeteria before the first student got there, scooped up or grabbed what everyone wanted, ran past the cashier lady, and dropped the appropriate amount of money as he carried several trays haphazardly back into the classroom. He put them at the appropriate desks and then sat down, exhausted. Everyone still looked outside the door until they heard trays being put on desks and Jon breathing heavily at his desk. Jon smiled weakly at them. "Heh, never had to use that ability for that long..." he said as he took a bite of a school-grade meatball. "Wow, it actually does taste like real meatballs for once," Jon thought to himself as he slowly recovered.
SilverCyclone
Till still stared at his desk. He had managed to avoid talking with Jon, even after he had whispered in his ear. Till was trying desperately to not get attached to anyone, either emotionally or physically. He was afraid, but of what, he wasnt sure, so he tried to make the others dislike being around him. That would at least give him a barrier to hide behind and...do what? What was the purpose of that? He let it slip from his mind. He didnt bother trying to get food. It was only when he finally stopped using his tricks to hide that the others noticed he didnt have any food. But, he was staring at the wall, humming something and moving his head as if listening to slow music. He suddenly stopped. A chill ran up his back, and he jerked around quickly. No one was behind him, but his sudden movements caused some to stare at him. He glared at the walls for awhile before turning back around. Upon seeing the stares, he lowered his eyes and faded from view. He reappeared on top of a cabinet, staring out a window at another phantasm of his mind. He began to hum the slow song again, moving his head slowly to the tune. The lights flickered violently for a second before returning to normal. Frankie leaned over to Jim and whispered. "Thats kind of creepy...especially the light thing..." Till continued humming, his face expressionless as he stared out the window. Forget you exist...forget everything I can...dont hold on...let it go...shadows are the only true friend... A small smile appeared at his lips, and the song slowed down even more. Asim
He had calmed himself down, but still his senses were as sharp as ever in search for a clue that will lead him to the Doctor. He was not intrested in what was going on, so he got up, and stepped out of the classroom, he did not know wether anyone had noticed his absence or not, and he didn’t really care. Walking in the crowded hallways, he glared straight through the staring eyes that watched him in the most frightening manner, and payed no attention to the idle whispers that glided to his ears, for his mind was preoccupied with more imortant issues. After a short stroll he went back to the classroom, and sat down. He did not know what to do; he just sat there, and watched everyone pass by. Soon it all fell into a pattern, and it seemed like everything was rewinding itself all the time He shook his head, and stared out the window into the cloudy silver skies. He enjoyed such weather, and found peace in it. Soon the scene of the grey clouds took him back in time in a flash back. He stood in the rain clenching his wounded arm. His face was dyed red with blood, and his eye twiched with pain, as he gazed at the bodies that were lying twisted, broken and smugged with mud on the wet earth. Ripping off his wet, and bloody shirt, he wore nothing now except for a pair of baggy dark grey jeans, and black army boots. His vains pumped violently, and his muscles throbbed with fury. " Is that all you've got ? " The boy muttered viciously. " Mishimusuka has done quite a good job training you... " A man dressed in a black cloak murmured. "You are indeed a true warrior...Show me your true face, show me the beast within you" The man roared. The tattoo on Asim's bair back was dark, and colorless, but it was starting to radiate a blue gleam, as thunder struck at irregular intervals. He was the only one left standing except for young Asim. After uttering these words he shifted himself into an ancient fighting stance, he stood tall, and upright. His right arm was folded behind his back and his left arm pointed at his opponent. Asim immeadiatly recognized the style that the other man was using, and he in turn took his own fighting stance in use. They stood like statues under the pouring rain waiting for the right moment to lanch their assault. Then they charged at eachother. Mud was spluttering sideways upon the impact of their balanced, and fast steps. After only a few moment, which seemed like a life time they clashed in battle like bloodthirsty tigers. A gigantic bolt of thunder then came crashing down. It blasted with a blinding flash right in the middle of the warriors. "... Asim... " He heard a female voice calling. It was Atlanta. " What ? " He responded quietly. " Why don't you get something to eat ? " She suggested. "Thanks maybe I wil " He said.
Sakura
OOC: Sorry if I'm not posting very often, been busy. Aria was shy and decided to sit back. She began to drum her fingers on the table top in a simple rhythm and she started to hum quietly as she started to think of a new song that she could compose. Aria tentatively asked if anyone would mind if she played her flute, they replied with a no and she drew out a thin, long, black box with two silver clasps that held it closed. She flipped them up and the inside was lined with velvet and nestled on top was a crystal, one-piece flute(with holes like a regular flute). Aria picked the instrument up and held it fondly. She just held it in her grip for a short while as she warmed the cool crystal material. She reached into her bag again and pulled out her file. She flipped through it until she reached a plastic sleeve that was full of blank music scores. Aria pulled a sheet out and grabbed her pencil. She started to hum and started to write down music notes, soon she had four lines done. She rested her pencil on the paper and brought her instrument to her lips, placing her fingers on the holes and started to play lightly. A few of the students had stopped their conversations and watched her. When she finished she continued to write and soon enough there were two pages. Aria lifted the flute again and played through the part of the song that she had just composed. It was a stormy feeling, yet soft and soothing. To add to the feeling of her audience, she sent her power of wind out so it blew around them, rushing when her music was stormy, and calm and slow when she played gently. Aria finished and looked to the other gifted students and their teacher. They applauded and Aria blushed lightly, putting her instrument away and tucking her filled music scores back into the sleeve. "Does anyone feel that it's getting warm?" Aria questioned as she started to eat her lunch. The others murmered and nodded. Aria walked to the large window in the class and opened it, then she grabbed a fistful of air, and walked to the door. She swung it open and threw the fistful out the door. Now they could feel a steady stream of cool air blowing through the classroom. Aria sat back and enjoyed her sandwich.
Tasrai
Frankie was sorry to hear the music end, it had sounded sweet and had been gentle on her extra sensitive ears. The soothing music had also eased the massive headache that had been forming all day. Everything was sooo much louder than usual and she could here what was going on in classes halls down. The noise was a jumbled mass of confusing words and irritating sounds. She had never even heard some of them; TVs and computers ringed in an extremely high pitch, the florescent lights hummed, and the school bell that signaled period changes was pure torture. It was enough to drive her insane. Maybe my abilities are becoming stronger as more time passes, was the one thought she could think of that explained it. The only time everything seemed toned down was when she was talking to someone or just then when Aria played her flute, it just sort of drowned the others noises and distractions out. So when Jim left earlier she wasn?t only sad to see him go because she was really starting to like him as a friend, but that it also meant that the noise would come back. Frankie waited in agony for a few moments and thought of an idea. Maybe if I try to concentrate on something all the other sounds will zone out. She closed her eyes and listened, a fly was buzzing in the room. Concentrating on that with all her might, the only sound she heard was that of the fly buzzing around. Opening her eyes, she looked and spotted the pest easily. Watching intently she realized that she could see the hair on its legs easily. Whoa, I knew my sight was getting better but never this good. Frankie was still watching the fly intently when Jim came back, she knew because she recognized his smell. She pulled her attention away from the fly and at him, instantly she knew something had happened. ?What happened?? She asked with genuine concern. ?Nothing?just an accident running into a door?? Jim answered with a shrug. Frankie wasn?t fooled by that lie, the angle of the bruise didn?t coincide with his story, unless of course he had gotten on his knees and hit the doorknob that way. Which was very unlikely, but she decided not to push the matter, knowing that it would be of no use to ask him with everyone else listening. So she kept silent. Suddenly out of nowhere Alex Moore laughed and yelled, ?You ran into a door! I run right through them!? What a Spas. Frankie thought as she flinched with the sudden loud and intruding voice. Jim must have thought so also because he challenged back. ?Something funny?? Levitating a book as he said so. Frankie was just about to point out to him that if he could walk through walls then throwing a book at him wouldn?t do much good, but before she could, the now inevitable happened and the book was launched. Just as she thought, it flew right through Alex Moore?s spiked head and into Jim?s nose. Frankie flinched as she heard the impact. Ouch. ?Yea!!! That!? Alex laughed some more. Frankie could almost feel Jim?s pain. And humiliation. ?That?s enough you two.? Butted in Mr. Freeman. Thank you, Mr. Freeman. ?Sorry, Mr. Freeman.? ?It?s not me you owe the apology to.? ?I?m sorry Jim, it wasn?t polite of me to laugh.? Sticking out his hand. ?Truce?? Jim stiffly shook his hand. Frankie sighed her relief, as did the rest of the class. Then the lunch bell rang, sending more pain to Frankie?s already throbbing head. She slowly got up for lunch when she remembered. Reluctantly sat back down, she had looked forward to eating something because it might have helped with her headache. Thinking about it now, the lunchroom noise would have made eating pointless. Jon asked the question that was in everyone?s minds, "Mr. Freeman, has there been any provision regarding our lunch?" ?Hmm?that?s a good question, Jon.? Mr. Freeman remarked, as he started solving this latest mystery. But Jon solved it by going and getting their lunches with his power of speed. Frankie was thankful to Jon, and had just taken her first bite, when Aria had asked if she could play her flute. Frankie ate as she watched and listened to Aria, letting the music sooth her aching head. Afterwards, when Aria had stopped with a display of her awesome power over wind, Frankie wasn?t sure if she?d be able to stand her headache much longer. ?I?m sorry to interrupt, but do you have any Tylenol?? Jim, who had been in the middle of a really funny story about his trip to six flags, shook his head in reply. ?Darn. Listen I?m really sorry, but I have this massive headache, and could you wait to tell the rest until I get some.? ?Sure, Frankie. I wish I had some to give you,? He said back with a concerned face. ?That?s O.K. you caring helps too.? Frankie said smiling thankfully. ?I?ll be back.? Frankie gave him another smile and walked over to Mr. Freeman, who was chewing the end of his stapler. As she approached, he must have noticed what he was doing because he sheepishly set it back on his desk. ?Heh. I have oral fixation?never really got over it?so um, what can I do for you?? Frankie couldn?t help but smile as he tried to regain his dignity. ?I have it too, a really bad case." She paused and smiled at him. " You know what? I think they should make an exception to that stupid gum rule for people with oral fixation. I mean you should just see my pencils.? Mr. Freeman laughed. ?Anyway, I came up here to ask whether or not you had some Tylenol.? ?Sorry, but I don?t.? ?Would you mind if I went up to the nurse?s office and got some?? ?You know I wouldn?t. But I think Principle Haste would.? ?You forget my ?gift?.? Frankie said, winking. ?Ah, very well. Just make sure you are not seen.? He said smiling. Frankie nodded and went out the door, since she was still shy about showing her powers to anyone. Once outside she got out of view of the other students and teleported to the nurses office. A second or so later Frankie was in the nurse?s room. Frankie hadn?t been hesitant about teleporting directly there, because the nurse was well overweight and wouldn?t miss her lunch for the world. Frankie looked around inside the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of Tylenol, she swallowed three right there without water. Rummaging through the cabinet some more, she found a pair of ear plugs.Perfect. Finished with what she came there for, she was just about to teleport back when she heard a voice that gave her a chill. ?Hello, I am the doctor, that has come to examine the gifted students.? Apparently he was talking to the secretary. ?Oh, you must be Doctor Goivorich.? ?Yes. Could you tell Principle Haste that I have arrived.? ?Yes, just take a seat over there.? ?Very well.? Frankie heard the man take his seat while the secretary called Principle Haste on the intercom. Suddenly, Frankie heard footsteps outside the nurse?s office door. Cursing whomever it was, she teleported back outside the 'gifted' classroom. She walked back in and sat next to Jim. ?Get some?? He asked eyeing the earplugs in her hand. ?Yep. I also got these, to help with the noise, don?t worry I will be able to hear you.? She replied, placing them in her ears,. They worked perfectly, she could still hear what was going on in the classroom and dulled the rest. Jim smiled and started back into his story. As he narrated, Frankie wrote him a note about what happened, warning him not to react, she didn?t want to alarm the other students unnecessarily. Jim read and nodded then picked up and pencil and began to write back. Heh. It is a little too long...sorry.
Redemption
Hunter smiled at Asim. " Look, call me Hunter. It's hard to say my first name all the time. Okay?" she said to Asim, smiling at him. " Okay," Asim replied rather darkly. Hunter's eyes narrowed. Something's wrong... Suddenly a cold shiver ran down her spine. Something was definitely wrong. Closing her eyes, figures of fire sat around her - the other 'gifted' students. Turning her head around, she saw a dark fire figure moving around. Evil... Opening her eyes again, Hunter looked towards the principal's office. Asim looked at her. " Atalan...sorry, Hunter, what's wrong?" he asked. Hunter stood up, a flame lit in her eyes. " The government...they're here...." she whispered. Everyone stopped their conversation and looked at her. Suddenly fire appeared in the air, swirling around in a circle. " ATALANTA! Keep your powers under control!" Mr Freeman scolded her. The fire vanished but the fire in her eyes didn't disappear. " Mr Freeman, the bad guys are here!" Hunter replied darkly. Mr Freeman stood up. " The government?" " Yes." " Then go. Get out of here!" Hunter opened the window. She turned back at the others. " Come on guys. It would be better if we stuck together. Lets go..." With a flutter of her skirt, Hunter jumped out of the window.
Shwa
Suddenly fire appeared in the air, swirling around in a circle. " ATALANTA! Keep your powers under control!" Mr Freeman scolded her. The fire vanished but the fire in her eyes didn't disappear. " Mr Freeman, the bad guys are here!" Hunter replied darkly. Mr Freeman stood up. " The government?" " Yes." " Then go. Get out of here!"Hunter opened the window. She turned back at the others. " Come on guys. It would be better if we stuck together. Lets go..."With a flutter of her skirt, Hunter jumped out of the window. Everyone was kind of shocked at what shew was doing except for Frankie, Jim, and Asim..they were the only ones who seemed to have the slightest idea of what was going to happen to them. Jon helped Aria out of the window before he got out himself, then it was Till's turn before Alex phased through the window and just ended up falling anyways. Then the other Alex followed him. "Hurry up in there" Hunter yelled from the ground. Mr. Freeman looked out the door to see if anyone was coming, only a few people in suits and a man in a lab coat. He was carring a breifcase and a pile of files for some reason. The other men looked like they were secret service people....they were well armed. Asim roughly pulled Mr. Freeman inside the classroom and closed the door. Jim used his powers to mover a couple of the desks in front of the door to barricade it, Frankie held onto the teacher and before he knew it they were outside with the others. Jim and Asim ran towards the window before there was a knocking on the door, both the teens froze in their place, but Asim seemed to be calm about the situaiton. "We'll be down in a second" Asim told the others outside, Jim continued to move stuff in front of the door to make a stronger barrier. Before he went out the window he tossed everyone's backpack's out the window and then jumped, the landing was kind of rough but acceptable. Then came Asim on top of Jim. "You mind getting up? I think you broke my back" Jim said as he squirmed on the ground. Frankie helped Jim up off the ground after Asim ogt off of him. "Hey...your no soft pillow either" He replied. "So what do we do now?" Aria asked, everyone turned their heads towards Hunter at that time.
SilverCyclone
"Gah!" Till staggered, gripping his head. He fell to his knees, grunting in pain. "Sh...shit!" He slammed his head violently into the ground, apparently bringing himself back to his senses. The others crowded around him. "What the hell was that?" Till was breathing heavily. He glared up at Hunter, but the look immediately dissapeared. He stood up shakily, shrugging off anyone who offered help. "I...I dont know...I felt...such an incredible pain...huh...must be stress...ah, damn...that hurt like hell..." He regained his composure, now bearing his usual expressionless face. He was obviously shaken, evident by the fact that his form was flickering in and out of sight. He glanced back at Hunter. "Sorry...Im better now. What are we going to do?" The men were pounding on the door now. Till shut his eyes and raised his arms. The pounding stopped. Loud barking was heard, followed by shouts of surprise. The others looked at him curiously. He opened his eyes. "I doubt my illusion will fool them for long, but it'll buy some time. Make a decision before they realize its a fake!" liubei013
After helping Aria get out, Jon followed suit and landed nimbly onto the grass. His mind raced as it went through a multitude of possibilities as to their next move. "I doubt my illusion will fool them for long, but it'll buy some time. Make a decision before they realize its a fake!" Till said urgently. After looking around the nearby parking lot, Jon finally thought of a viable possibility. "Uh...okay, I got an idea. Everyone, over here!" Jon said as everyone followed him to a dark-green minivan. "Alex Moore, can you phase through and unlock the door to the driver's seat?" Jon asked. Alex laughed and began to phase through as he said, "That was a rhetorical question, right?" Then he promptly unlocked the door and walked out, bowing mockingly to everyone. "Okay, the other Alex...can you bend time so that it will slow down? I'm going to speed myself up and hotwire this thing. Your abilities plus mine will give us plenty more time to escape," Jon said. "Hmm...sure, but I'm not sure if I can affect others though," Alex Sapphire said as he concentrated. "Now's a good time as any to find out..." Jon replied as he also concentrated. Then both of the guys' abilities went off simultaneously. The two abilities allowed Jon to work at almost triple his usual speed. Jon dashed into the driver's seat, yanked out the ignition key panels and pulled some wires around. After rewiring it and sparking it off, the car started up. Then real-time was restored and only a second passed by. Everyone looked amazed at Alex and Jon as the car was started up. "Oh...crap. Can anyone here drive? I've only just got my permit since my uncle doesn't let me practice," Jon said sheepishly as time began to run out.
Tasrai
"Oh...crap. Can anyone here drive? I've only just got my permit since my uncle doesn't let me practice," Jon said looking back at the others. Frankie could barely believe what she heard and she stared back a Jon with an incredulous stare. "Their are about seven government officials and one madman doctor at our heels and you are worried about just having gotten your driving permit!?!" Frankie yelled from the back seat while fighting with her set belt trying to get it undone. "Screw this." Frankie disappeared, reappearing a second later, next to Jon. "Move." He nodded and jumped to the passenger seat. Back in the school, Frankie could hear through the open window the government agents finally opening the door. She had to hurry, she turned to Till, "Can you make it so that they can't see the van?" He nodded solemnly, she knew she was asking something big, he already having spent a lot of his energy on the dog illusion and with whatever happened outside the window. Frankie didn't wait for him to tell her he was finished, pressing on the gas pedal, the green mini-van jerked forward. Till didn't even to notice, his head was down and his eyes were closed. Poor guy, he isn't going to last much longer. Frankie pulled out of the parking lot in just a few seconds, Till's fist were clenched so tight that his fingers had become sheet pale. I need to help him somehow...There was only thing she could think of. "Everyone close your eyes and try to think about nothing." Everyone looked at her, but did as they were told, Jon looked at Frankie. She got the weird feeling he already knew what she was planning. "That's kind' a risky isn't it?" He whispered low enough so that only she could hear it. "Yes." Frankie looked at the road ahead, making sure that the road was clear. Then she closed her eyes and visualized them on a country lane that she remembered being on when she was little, she knew where it was; about a mile outside of the city. She took a deep breath and let the energy that was building up leak through her fingers and into the steering wheel. She directed that energy through out the entire car. When she felt it was time she opened her eyes and released the energy. It didn't take any mor than a few seconds to the others but it felt like an eternity to Frankie. There was a whooshing sensation and the scenery changed around the van. But instead of changing into the country lane Frankie had expected, they were seven miles short of where she had intended. she had failed, but she had given them a fifty minute lead, skipping through all the city traffic. Unless of course they have helicopters...It's just lucky for us, that the only cars around on the road are far enough away they will think that they have just blinked and missed us earlier. Frankie shook her head, she was really light headed and drained all over from her effort. "Till you can stop and rest now." He nodded and leaned back against his seat, continuing to stare off into the distance. I think I need to rest also, "We are still within city limits and are on the East highway leading out of the city. So, um....would anyone come take over? I think I could use my abilities best from the back watching for any cars and listening for helicopters." She said quietly, turning to look back at the others. "Anyone?"

I think I could use my abilities best from the back watching for any cars and listening for helicopters." She said quietly, turning to look back at the others. "Anyone?"
Hunter looked at Frankie. She looked really tired. Feelling like they were not out of danger yet, Hunter volunteered. " I'll drive," she said, swapping places with Frankie. The car swerved a little as they swapped. " So does anyone know exactly where we are?" Hunter asked. Jon answered immediately. " We're on Route 86 heading towards Washington." " WASHIINGTON!' Hunter yelled, scaring everyone, " Great, right into the beast's belly. Well, I think we'll have to count on onlly ourselves from now on guys." Aria nodded along with the others. Suddenly the sound of helicopters echoed overhead. " Uh oh..." Jim started. Hunter jerked the wheel to the side, making the car ride off track through a corn field. Then the car started spluttering. " Oh no. What now?" Hunter moaned. The car stopped dead in the field, throwing everyone out of their seats. Hunter hit the windscreen, cutting her forehead badly. Dazed, she managed to get herself out of the car. The helicopters whizzed overhead. Frustration crept into Hunter's mind. She looked up at the helicopters. They were really starting to piss her off. Then it happened. She couldn't help it. One helicopter burst into flames and exploded in mid-air. The wreakage crashed into the field, burning slowly. Hunter stared in disbelief at the wreakage.
Sakura
Aria had made small comments, not really knowing what to do because she had never been chased before. She watched as the helicopter suddenly burst into flames, a fire show in the sky. The people sitting inside leaped from the cabin, some with their clothes ablaze. They landed somewhere in the corn field and she couldn't see them anymore. Aria looked back to the sky, there were still a few other helicopters hovering. Someone inside one of them was shouting something to them through a megaphone, but they couldn't hear it over the loud chopping sounds of the propeller blades. She looked around to see if anyone else was going to do something about the remaining choppers, the problem was a lot of the other gifted students' powers weren't offensive. She looked around for a student and spotted him quickly. Aria walked briskly over to him and whispered something in his ear. Reis looked at her, then nodded in agreement. "Now." Aria said. Reis looked at the helicopter that was closest to them, and ice started to cover the blades that were keeping it suspended. Aria narrowed her eyes at it, and strong winds began to whisk around them, blowing the ears of corn, and the grass. Even though the blades were frozen, Aria was keeping them suspended with the power of wind, she told them that she would only hold it for 5 more seconds, and they immediately jumped out of the small cabin, then Aria dropped the large mode of transport. "Someone try to get the car working again, we'll handle the rest of the choppers." Aria said, referring to those with powers that could deal damage, even if it wasn't involved with making the helicopters fall from the sky. OOC: Post isn't too good, couldn't really think of anything. Asim
Stepping out of the van Asim cracked his neck, and knuckles. Everyone was in a state of distortion, but he remained cool. He glanced the hovering choppers as they moved. Sounding an enigmatic chuckle, as usual he flipped his cell phone open once again, and moved to the back of the van. He dialed a certain number, and awaited an answer. " The good Doctor is here... " He carelessly muttered. " It appears that he brought some company, it should be interesting " He grinned, as he cracked his left fist by simply clenching it. " I trust that you'll take care of this issue in a proffesional manner? " Black Sun sarcasticily required. " Certainly, but why not take down two birds with one stone? " He asked. " I see what you mean I have your location on screen, do I send out orders for a raiding team? " The deep voiced man asked. " Not now it's too risky, I think I can handle this own my own for the time being... " Asim murmured. " Good then...ending transmission" Black sun said. Asim then moved to the front of the van, and saw that the students were trying to fight back. He smiled, and calmly wallked into the middle of the lot. " This is pointless... " He murmured, and then he casually sent a blast of lightning bolts out of his palm. The electrical volts took the shape of dragons, as they travelled through the air, and struck down three helicopters, but there were more coming from a far. " How did you do that? " Hunter asked. " Later.." He murmured, as he put on his shades. " We should worry about them for the time being... " He said, as he pointed to the rope descending soldiers in the distance. " Well isn't that nice of the doctor a welcoming party... " He laughed out. The others found Asim's utter calmness disturbing, and strange. " I'd say that there are about fifty of them... " Huh, I've faced tougher odds before " He roared. He then charged into the corn field with all of his speed. Larger and more powerful surges of electricity were bursting out of his body as he gained velocity. He trailed his path with burning lines, and waves of rustling plants. Upon reaching the soldiers, a very large, and bright bolt of lightning in the shape of a two headed dragon whirled about violently, and struck down the choppers. It then entered Asim, and charged him with energy. His eyes radiated with raging sparks of electricity, and so did the tips of his hair, and long eyebrows. In fact their colour turned into a sparkling blue, and his shades vaporized. " Come fools, show what you're made of... " He thundered. With these words soldiers poured in on him like a tidal wave. He fought with all of his wild spirit, and struck fear in the rows of his enemies. Wrecking havoc, he let them come within the range of his fists, and legs. They were being flung outward like sand in the gusty wind. Left and right he punched, and kicked with the most offensive, and brutal of techniques. Until none were left standing, except for him, and a dizzy beaten up soldier. He charged at him, and attacked with a flying uppercut, which sent the soldier far above the ground, he then jumped after him, and hurled him down with a downward whirl kick. Asim landed in a crouching position with a dark grin on his face. He looked at the mangled, and broken bodies with great joy, but he was a bit dissapointed because the doctor wasn't there for him to kill. Still he smiled, and admired the scene. The others watched from a far, and then they slowly started to move in.
SilverCyclone
Till staggered as he stepped out of the car. His vision was misty as he stared upwards at the helicopters. He had wasted far too much energy in hiding the van and making the dog. Normally, it wouldve been easy, but he wasnt very good at projecting them so far away. He heard the screams in the cornfields, and shifted his vision to the choppers. Raising his arms, he prepared for one last illusion. The others saw a dark cloud form around the helicopters. Till's eyes were violet, and he was obviously very strained. He fell to his knees as the cloud dissipated. Blinded, the helicopters had smashed into each other. Several managed to escape, but four were falling to the ground. Till collapsed onto the car, crawling into a seat and falling unconscious. His arms twitched every few minutes. Cysword6
God such destruction.....he can't be a new gifted kid, he has way too much power, Reis thought as he watched Asim destroy the soldiers. He noticed that one of the helicopters was still up in the air and immediately began to freeze the tail blade. He heard the pilot's screams as the copter crashed into the ground. Is this really what I want to do with my powers? To destroy 'normal' humans?, he kept questioning himself, moving over to the side of the road. "I think I can use my powers to make a road block, it might stop them...", he said quietly, Hunter being the only one to hear him. "I think that's a good idea, but maybe before we put it up we should use my powers and yours to make a fog. It'll give us some cover time." she said as she began to think of the soldiers that were still coming. "Asim, you shouldn't enjoy such bloodspill, but I have nothing to say myself when I smiled at their lives slipping away" Reis shouted at the lightning weider, "Just be quiet and do what your told, like one of these fallen soldiers" the boy yelled back. At that Reis could feel the ice particles swirling into sharp icicles around him. Aria put her hand on his arm to hold him back, "Stop, we have to deal with the government now, you two can fight later". With a nod Reis began freezing the road ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: Grr your mighty powers Asim! lol, sorry it's so short, I'm in a rush and I'm having a huge writer's meltdown.
Shwa
"At least we can buy some time before anyone else comes over here and tried to fight us, the road-block made by Reis along with the fog should hold out for a long time." Jon said as everyone stood still and watched the fog begin to get thivker and thicker by the minute...almost too thick to even see, good thing everyone was in a group and was able to see one another. "Alright, so how long do you think this fog will last?" Frankie asked as she tried not to step on a dead soldier on the gorund around the group. "My guess would be about an hour" Hunter and Reis said simultaniously "What do you think the govenment will do to us now? Not only have we escaped them which was a god idea, but now we have killed soem of their men which was a bad idea but kind of good to save our lives." Jim asked. "Well...we have to keep on moving, dont we?" Aria stated. "We have to run as much as we can, remember that the govenment is everywhere. Most likly they will send more experienced and perfesional people to "handle" us" Asim stated. "But we're not gonna go down without a fight, if they come at us like they did here we'll show them no mercy" He smiled and kicked one of the dead soldiers body on the gorund. "Whatever we do next, we should not take so many lives and try to have a low profile" Jim said, Jon, Frankie, and Aria agreed as well. Alex Sapphire walked around the battle feild that Asim created and started to get sick, the other Alex came back from the car and had Till on his back after he passed out from destroying some helecopters that came their way earlier. "So if we're going anywhere....do we have to walk?" Jon asked. *I erased my earlier post and made this one ^.^ I tried to fit Asim's and SilverCyclone's post's together along with the one Cysword6 made before mine*
Redemption
Hunter watched in horror at the burning wreakage of the helicopter. She didn't mean to do it - it just happened. Blood trickled down her nose. She wiped it off with her hand. The cut of her forehead was deep and still had glass sticking out of it, but, Hunter took no notice of it. She had killed. She disobeyed her father's wishes. Her whole boyd shook with grief. " I'm sorry father..." she whispered as she stood up. Walking over to the group, no one noticed the bleeding forehead of Hunter. She didn't mind. It was only a cut. She saw Alex have Till on his back. Hunter walked over to them. " Will he be okay?" Hunter asked, looking Till up and down. " I think so. Pity no one has healing powers," Alex replied. " Yeah," Alex replied. He then looked at Hunter's bleeding forehead. " Shit - how'd you manage that?" " When the car stopped, I hit the windscreen." " Maybe one of the others could look at it? Oi! Reis! When you're finished making the fog, can you come over her and help Hunter?" Alex yelled. " Sure," Reis replied. Hunter looked at Alex. " Thanks." " Hey no problem," he answered back. Hunter sat down inside the car, waiting for Reis to come over. " What are we supposed to do now?" she asked herself. " Well, we need to find a place that we can hide in first, then we'll decide later," Asim's voice came from behind her. Hunter jumped, not expecting anyone to hear her mumbling. " ASIM! You scared the crap outta me!" " Sorry, but I meant what I said. We have to get out of here!" " I agree. But where?" " Where's a place with lots of people and plenty of places to hide?" " Well, seen as though we're heading towards Washington, we may as well go there." " Good idea. But how are we going to get there?" " Hitch-hike. I don't think Alex will be able to hold Till that long. I don't think any of us could. It's our only option." " Seen as though you're the one who looks a wreck, you should try and get someone to help us." " We'll see." "EVERYONE, OVER HERE QUICK!" Hunter yelled at the top of her lungs. Everyone came obidiently. " Ok, Asim and I have come up with a plan. You can reject if you want and we'll discuss it,but we need to make a decision and soon. Most of us are tired from using our powers, and if we stay in the open like this, we'll be lambs waiting for the slaughter. We think that we should try to hitch-hike to Washigton. It's the only place with heaps of places to hide and lots of people around. It's our only option. What do you say?"
Tasrai
Frankie had been horrified at the destruction and when it was all over she could think about was what all the dead soldier's families would react when their families heard the news of their death. Some would scream, others would cry, and then there would be those that stood there silently holding it in, just like she was. Feeling that she needed to do something for the mass of life lost, she knelt and prayed with all her heart for the families of their loved ones and friends. Afterwards, she walked through the dead, staring hard at each one and trying to imagine what they had been like. Tears started to form in her eyes as she looked at one soldier, who couldn't have been any older than eighteen...I'm glad that I don't have any destructive powers- "EVERYONE, OVER HERE QUICK!" Hunter suddenly yelled wrenching her out of her sorrow and remorse. Frankie zombie like shuffled through the broken and burnt stalks of corn to where Hunter and Asim stood. Frankie listened to Hunter as she explained the plan she and Asim had come up with for now. They were going to hitchhike to Washington, because there are plenty of people and places to hide. "What do you say?" Hunter finished, looking around for any suggestions, Frankie didn't have any...and apparently neither did any one else, and least not any that they said. After about thirty seconds of silence Frankie couldn't stand the quiet so she broke it. "Well...I say that we don't waste anymore time then...let's go." Frankie turned towards Hunter, "You lead." Hunter nodded and with a wave of her hand started running in the direction of Washington. Frankie took one last look at the sea of dead, I'm sorry.... She turned away from them and ran to catch up with Jim. Something within her hardened when she turned away and she felt a chill run through her body, strengthening and hardening both will and muscle. She set her face and locked her eyes ahead, and she knew she'd be able to run to the ends of the earth without let up if she put her mind to it. I vow I'll never cry again. as she promised herself this, she could almost envision her new found cold and determined will mold it into her mind and being. After thirty minutes or so later her gaze was diverted by Alex stumbling with his load. Frankie still filling as fresh as she had when they had started running, sped up next to Alex who's breathing was ragged, all the color in his face drained. "Alex, let me take him." Frankie said as she jogged next to him. Alex not having any breath to spare just shook his head. "Come on, you can admit you're tired. It's amazing that you have managed to run and carry him this far...I'll just take him until you are able to get your breathing back to normal..." Frankie smiled at him. He stared at her a moment then nodded and stopped running. Frankie took the still unconscious Till of his back and arranged him on hers. "Thanks, I like to feel useful. We can take turns carrying him, that way we will be able to last longer." Frankie said as she started running, stumbling at first, unaccustomed to the weight. Alex was jogging by her side. "You sure that you can handle him?" He asked looking at the seemingly lifeless Till on her back. "Yeah...don't you worry about me, I pretty tough. Besides he is pretty skinny." She said back, and then sped up to catch up with Jim. It wasn't really hard, because almost everyone had slowed down to a jog anyway...
SilverCyclone
Till's breathing was very slow, almost stopped actually. He remained unconscious for quite some time before coming to with a groan. His vision was blurry, and he was aware of being carried. Did they catch me...is this the government? He decided to try a little test. Hooking his leg around the carrier, he tripped her and rolled away the second he hit the ground. He regained his footing a few feet away, still groggy. He strained his eyes, falling into a boxing stance. "Till! What was that for?" The illusionist glanced at Frankie, now rising from the ground. He began to recognize the faces. "Oh...sorry...I didnt know who was carrying me...sorry....how long was I out?" "Around 45 minutes, give or take. Can you run?" Till tested his legs by executing a few jumps. He stretched his arms and neck. "Yeah...I think so..." A few moments later, they were all continuing their run. Till slid easily next to Frankie, and after a few moments, thanked her and went next to Alex. "Thanks...for not leaving me back there..." His voice was emotionless, as was his face. He then sped up to Hunter. He wasnt as tired as the others, so he easily weaved in and out of them. "So, whats the plan anyway? What did you all decide to do while I was napping?" Redemption
OOC: Sorry I haven't been on for ages. You'll have to live with it for the next week. Exams. Sorry. Hunter slowed to a jog to let the others have a breather. Frankie was half struggling with Till on her back the last time she looked. She heard a thump of a body and spun around. Frankie had landed face first in the dirt. Till had tripped her, thinking she was an agent. Hunter turned back around and pushed through numerous corn stalks to emerge at an extremely busy highway. In the distance was the highrises of Washington. The others emerged from the field, panting slightly. Till came up behind Hunter. "So, whats the plan anyway? What did you all decide to do while I was napping?" Hunter looked at the highway. " We're going to go to Washington. Lots of people. Plenty of places to hide. Perfect place." " Except we're right near the enemy," Till replied. " I know." Hunter looked at the cars whizzing by. They didn't even notice a bunch of kids on the side of the road. She looked for a way to catch their attention. There had to be something she could do without hurting anyone. She sighed and turned to the corn field. " What are you doing?" questioned Reis. " I'm going to cause a bit of havoc...." Hunter trailed off. Fire suddenly sprung from the corn field. It swept through the field as it was a hot, dry day. Smoke plummed off the fire and covered the road. Within a few minutes, red flashing lights were racing up the highway. Hunter wanted to cause a distraction so they could catch a ride to the city. Somehow. Fire trucks pulled up and started hosing the flames. The plumes of smoke had stopped traffic. A huge bank of cars and trucks had stopped. Many of them beeped. Hunter turned to the others. " Okay guys, now's our chance. We hitch a ride on a truck. I know its not the most ingenius plan, but it will get us there."
SilverCyclone
"No no. Its incredibly clever. We head right to the heart of the enemy, hitchhiking mind you, and save them the trouble of hunting us." "I told you, there are many places to hide." "Or many places to get shot where no one would hear the gun..." With that Till waited for the cars to show up. He raised his arms and covered the group from sight. "Before you ask, yes, im fine. Its alot easier to use my power in close proximity then anything else."
Redemption
Hunter smiled at Till and looked around. Fire trucks, ambulance and police had all arrived, causing chaos for the motorists. Her plan had worked. Hunter scanned the still traffic jam for a vehicle big enough for them to hitch a ride on. A large frieghting truck came into view. It was right at the beginning of the line up. Perfect.... Hunter turned to the others. " See that truck," she said, pointing at it, " We're going on that. We're all going to have to get into it or on top of it. Any suggestions?" Reis spoke up. " How long do you think it will take for the line to start moving again? I don't want to be cooped up in a frieght container." " I estimate it to be about twenty minutes. Give or take a few," Jim answered quickly. " Right then. Lets go. Till, can you move the illusion?" Asim said. Till nodded. " Lets go then..." Frankie said. The group moved over to the truck and climbed onto the top of it, seeing that the container was packed full. Till was the last to get on the top. Finally, he stopped the illusion, unable to sustain it any more. Then the real chaos started. Police helicopters whooshed over them and recognised them as the kids who'd run from the nearest city. The government had issued a warning, saying these kids were armed and very dangerous. A police officer held a megaphone to his mouth. " You kids on the truck. STOP IMMEDIATELY! You are under arrest for being wanted suspects!" The group looked up. Asim snarled in anger. " Fools......" Thankfully, the truck started moving and gained speed. The helicopter flew after them. The truck driver wasn't aware of the extra load he was carrying. In a few minutes, they were speeding along the highway to Washington. The police helicopter kept a close survalliance on them, trying to contact the driver so he could stop. __________________________ Fifteen minutes later, they were in the industral section of Washington DC. The truck pulled into a government facility. Hunter swore. " Everyone off! It's the enemy!" Everyone managed to jump off the slow truck and land in a floodway on the side of the road. Mud splattered across everyone as it had just recently rained. Reis looked around. The facility the truck had just turned into was a biochemical plant. " I wonder what they do in there?" he wondered out aloud. " I don't want to know," Hunter growled, " Lets go sometwhere where we can be safe." Everyone walked in a huddled group behind Hunter who looked around for anywhere they could stay. They walked for about two hours when Hunter stopped. Till ran straight into her as he was talking to Frankie. " Ouch!" " Sorry Hunter...." " That's ok." They had walked into a slum area. Hunter looked up at some of the apartments. " Looks like they could have a spare room for a group of kids. Oh, and I forgot to ask you guys, do you have any money?" They all shook their heads. " Damn." " Actually, I could get some..." Asim realised. " Good. Well we'll go and look for a apartment while you get some money Asim." " Alright." The group dispersed, walking into buildings to find a bug apartment for all of them to share.
SilverCyclone
Till wandered randomly. He glanced into several windows. "Why am I following these people...they're making it up as they go." Like you can do any better? "True..." He made sure he wasnt seen through any of the windows. "Son of a..." He continued walking till he had made a full circle around the building. He saw Hunter a bit farther down, but quickly headed up stairs to avoid her. He continued his search. Why are you avoiding her? "None of your business. Oh, great idea Till. Argue with yourself. Thats not suspicious." You should probably shut up right now.
Asim
A dark grin was drawn on his face as the group moved away. He then glared at his fists, and then clenched them. ? It?s almost time?? He whispered. He then flipped out his cell phone, and dialed a familiar number. ? Asim here? ? He said. ? What is your position? ? Black Sun asked. ? Washington D.C about two hours away from HQ ? Asim murmured, with a chuckle. ? Very good, very good indeed, but where the others? ? The other asked. ? They went to look for an apartment, and I?m supposed to get some money? ? He murmured. ? Good, do you want us to send in reinforcements? ? The deep voiced man asked. ? No, not now. It?ll be better if we got them to stay in one place, make them feel safe, and then strike them with a surprise...? Asim explained. ?Anyway what makes you think that I need backup to take care of the targets? ? Asim requested sarcastically. ? I don?t, but I?m afraid that you might get carried away, and kill a few of them. We do need them alive you know?? Black Sun laughed. ? By the way why is this doctor taking the offensive on them, isn?t he supposed to be helping them out? ? Asim asked. ? Well, that was not him ? Black Sun. ? What? ? Asim roared. ? That was a decoy just to drive them out of the city, and preventing them from making contact with the real Doctor? ? Black sun murmured. ? Why wasn?t I informed? And if those weren?t his troops then who the hell were they? ? Asim muttered. ? You weren?t informed, because it was on a need to know basis, and we needed you to keep it realistic ? The other said. ?Is this all there is to it? Are you telling me the truth?? Asim questioned viciously as suspicious thoughts ran through his brain. ?Yes, well if you want to get some money go to the newspaper shack located three blocks north of you, and tell him: The Sun will rise once more? Black sun said. ? He?ll understand? Ending transmission ? The man continued. ? No wait! ? Asim said, but the other had been already shut. ? Damn it? ? He muttered, and tried to call Black Sun again, but no one answered. He shut the phone, and placed in a pocket in his coat. Wondering why his so called comrade had been hiding this information regarding the decoy, and being sure that the reason given to him was a feeble one. The thoughts of betrayal, and lying disgusted him, and he really started to wonder to what ends might his agency go to attain their goals, they already had sent some of their squadrons to the slaughter, and what bothered him even more was that he was the butcher, no he was used in a more vile way, he was the butcher?s knife, a tool, a pawn, and a puppet in the hands of the organization. He cursed in fury, and then it occurred to him that even the information regarding the death of his master could have been easily manipulated, for he sensed that Black Sun was driving him away from the doctor, and not just the group. He clenched his fists in anger, but then shook his head, and decided to keep his suspicions hidden until it was the right moment. Moving on to the designated newspaper shack, he spoke the right words, and the guy behind the stand gave him a thousand dollars, but Asim returned most of it, and kept only three hundred, not to rattle any unnecessary attention. After that he went back to search for the group, and found them entering a certain building. As he walked towards them he somehow sensed that the real Doctor was somewhere near. He felt that he was isolated in his sphere of thoughts, but then he shook his head once more, and followed them in. Heading for Atlanta, to give her the money, he still was somewhat distorted.
