I've started noticing that every anime, gaming, or some sort of convention people cosplaying has been on the rise lately.
So does anyone here have pictures of themselves at a convention cosplaying as sme sort of anime/game character.

Hmm, think I already mentioned my experience in another thread but if you haven't heard it already...

I'll admit it. I've dressed up once, and [I]ONLY[/I] once. It was three years ago, me and my girlfriend wanted to go to this anime convention that came to town (The name escapes me at the moment...) and she had this, bright idea that we should dress up! Right...

Anyways, I couldn't say NO to her so I went along with it. She wanted to go as some kind of couple so needless to say, we dressed up as.....[I]Gene and Melfina from Outlaw Star[/I]. She was really into the show back then. I ain't even going into details with the costumes...

But if there was ever a time when I questioned my sanity...lol.

Anyways, that night we both dressed up in our respective parts (I am the MALE if you haven't figured it out already), and we left for the convention. Needless to say, we had a great time though. We weren't the worst looking people there but hey, what can I say? I knew it meant alot to her that I went along with it, so there I was.

I'd like to think the reason we are still together is because of it! :D

Anyways, if I ever find the pictures we took that night, I'll ask her if we can post them. Don't laugh [I]too[/I] hard though...

[COLOR=Gray][FONT=Courier New]I don't have any pictures from the con on my computer, but last time I went as Kenshin, and my friend was Temari. Her little brother had Naruto hair and wore some orange, but that doesn't count. : P

It was great fun running down the street before we left and having the old ladies out for a walk stare at us. *chuckle*

I always feel sorry for the people who get clutched up about doing things like that. It's just fun, and no convention would be the same without it.

I'm going to the con as Raquelle Cathule this year, and I'm being Blue Link for Halloween.

Well, it'd love to cosplay as a Naruto character because I've got the Leaf. It'd want to be Naruto or Sasuke.

I really want to cosplay. The problem is choosing who and getting the costume. I can probably make some of the costume, but I'll probably get a lot of it off of ebay. Finding who to go as is hard. I don't want to limit myself to who I look closest to. Besides, I won't be able to go to a convention until April.
