The factor of; " I'm not welcomed on this site." is really off. Since the OB and The Otaku encourages criticism, comments, anime fans, artist, etc.

From what I've, personally, have noticed for Fan Art on MyOtaku is the page hits. Most people who have a higher level rating have signed many Guest Books or have a ranking above 250.

This is due to the fact that most people when browsing through, random, MyOtakus scroll down to the bottom of the page to see if they have submitted anything. Usually if they have they'll click view and rate.

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue][SIZE=1]Well, I'm friends with the infamous Milky Cat and Steel Girl on MyO. Both of them are highly skilled artists who deserve to be in the high seventies or even in the top 10, but both of them are at 75%.

I know the object of the Otaku fanart is to criticise and rate, but it's [plainly obvious that people have voted Milky down because they don't like her, I won't go into details but you'll know if you were involved or read about this.

She has really good pictures that are voted down into 60%, and it's totally unfair. In fact, since I came to Milky's defence, my rating has gone down too, pictures that I was really proud of were voted down.

I know most people on that site are genuine, but quite a few seem to be spiteful and vote the picture down for personal reasons.

In this case, it's probably because they're jealous, people do that, you know?

But rest assured, you're a very good artist indeed, I love your pictures. In fact, I'll go vote on them right now ^_^[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Why should you care that someone else doesn't like it when you're opinion of it is what ultimately matters ? If you go around thinking that all your stuff sucks and that everyone is out to get you you're not going to have a very good time around here, my advice is to not take other people opinions to heart but merely use them as a means to an end.
