Epitome
Well if your read myO you will find out I am a HUGE Yankees fan. I am orginally from NY and have loved them ever since my little league years. Now if some of you enjoy baseball and have been watching the Yanks vs. Sox games, the Sox have comeback from a 3-0 deficate(sp?). Now in the history of baseball, no team has ever come back from 3-0, and history is not going to be made this year. We are now in the Bronx again, and we have the support of the fans. So for those baseball fans, who do you want to go to the Series??? My prediction: Yanks vs. Cardinals -Hate to say... Cardinals take it.
Juu
I'm not really much of a sports-y person, but I've been keeping up with the Yankees VS Red Sox games lately, and it looks like Red Sox are going to win. (Which would be interesting, as it's a first.) Johnny Damon's last few hits were just brill. Really sucks that they got out when the bases were loaded, though. =/ *shrug* I've been rooting for Boston. Really aggrivating how the commentators keep pronouncing 'Matsui' as 'MaNsui', though, for the Yankees. -____-;
Brasil
Last I checked, Sox were up 8 to 1 in the 6th or 7th, so unless the Yankees pull something spectacular, the Sox may be going to the World Series. No matter who wins, though, it was a fantastic post-season series. The last three games were just unbelievable, regardless of who won them. I think my favorite moment out of the games I watched was Game 6, where it came down to the wire. Bottom of the...nth Inning, lol. Sox were at bat. Two outs. Full count. Man on third, man on second. If there ever was a perfect strike, that was it. It was beautiful. I just checked on Comcast.net. Top of the 7th, Sox up 8 to 1, still. I believe the Sox are batting, as well. Correction: Make that Bottom of the 9th, Sox up 10 to 3, Yanks batting, no outs yet. 3-2. *whistles* EDIT: The Sox are goin to the Series. That was awesome. (Red Sox fan am I.) So far, they're not getting murdered, unless the Cardinals pull so random 4 wins out of their little tail feathers and force a game 7, like the NYY vs. BOS ALCS... I'm gonna shut up now, as if I kept going, it would turn into a rant.
DeathBug
I'm just so glad that Houston and Boston both didn't go to the Series, because that's about the only thing that could have made this election even more obnoxious: Senator Kerry's and President Bush's hometown teams facing off. Then Kerry would bet some lobster, and Bush would bet some barbaque; it's funny because one's betting stuff from Massachusetts, and one's betting stuff from Texas, get it? And we'd laugh and laugh, because it's so dang funny...gah.
Epitome
Well Game 4 is tonight, and unless the Cardinals can pull a "Boston" (I made that up myself... lol) the Sox are going to "break the curse." In a way I am happy for them. They played great all year, had great stats... they deserve it.
