I hadn?t seen her in so many years, but she had changed very little in that time. Most of it had to do with the fact that she was immortal, or at least I had thought so. Right now, her red blood covered my hands and my front. I stroked her soft neck, streaking the white coat with bright red.

(I am sorry.) She spoke through her mind since her lips could not form human words.

?For what, Anegus?? I spoke to her softly, tears streaming down my face.

(For you to return to this.) Her voice was heavenly, even within my own mind. She was a rare creature, even in Natara.

I squeezed a smile onto my face and ran the back of my fingers over her cheek. She was even beautiful as she was dying.

?How could you have known that this was going to happen??

(I am still sorry.) Her body heaved from the pain and blood loss.

?What can I do, Anegus? I feel so useless, what can I do to help?? I nearly cried out.

(I have lost too much blood for you to help me. I am sorry, Natene.) She lifted her head to take in my sight, but I ushered her to lay down again.

?I would rather not watch you be in horrible pain.? I spoke to her softly.

(I understand.)

It was five years ago when I first met Anegus. I remembered it well. I was finally free from my high school and was looking forward to going home. Caleb was at my side as he usually was. I could not ask for a better friend.

He had walked to my house before he made his way home. The events after that were horribly fuzzy. I remember going to my room, then returning downstairs to eat with my family. I think it was late when things got weird.

I laid in my room, the lights off, allowing the darkness to sweep over me. I never really had a fear of the dark, I had always felt comfortable in it. There was a tap on my window and I could hear my younger sister roll around in her bed. I hated sharing a room, but there wasn?t much I could do or say. There was another tap, this time I rose from my bed.

My room was on the second floor of our house and I had no clue what was making the noise. I pulled back the lilac curtain and saw Caleb standing below. He was preparing to throw another stone when I poked my head out of the window.

?What are you doing?? I shouted in a harsh whisper.

?I think you should come look at this.? He motioned towards the road.

?Caleb, are you crazy? I can?t sneak out.?

?They?ll never know, come on.? He stood there, looking up at me with his arms at his sides.

?Alright, hold on,? I mumbled. I was really glad that my parents room was downstairs. I rushed around to throw on a pair of pants, shoes and a jacket before climbing out of my window.

From the laundry room roof, I climbed down to the small side porch roof, where Caleb helped me to the ground.

?This better be good,? I protested.

?I think so,? he countered leading me quietly away from my home. We jogged down the street and I suddenly began to feel a strange thickness in the air. I said nothing as we neared the town?s middle school. As we rounded the corner and the school came into full view, I saw a glorious light. Beautiful pinks and pastels blues stretched from behind the large complex.

We weren?t the only ones drawn by the strange light display. There were three others there and I knew them all. There was one girl and two other guys. We all gathered together, but said nothing. We all headed towards the light that lay behind the school. We all ventured quietly through the parking lot and down the stairs to the baseball fields.

The light swirled and made a sort of center vortex with a bright, blinding white light from its center. We all hesitated for a moment, looking at one another. When no one moved, I made my way forward soon followed by the others. I made my way to the center of the light and once my eyes calmed, I saw glorious grass fields shone with warm brilliant sunlight.

?What in the world?? I shouted.

?You see it, too?? Caleb shouted.

[Background Info: Natara is known as THE LAND OF THE UNICORNS. It, like Mista, is a parella world to earth that can only be reached by magical portals. These portals can only be summoned by the unicorns and only the Queen can grant them the right to do so. Natara has little to no violence other than survival of the fittest. Every thing under the sun lives here except for humans, who have been exiled from the land when the unicorns had to flee earth. Humans were said to corrupt and destroy and kill that which they didn't understand. There has been humans that have come to Natara in history by some chance.]

However, Autumn owns only one blue and lacy dress that she bought secretely. Sometimes, she'll sneak into her room, and put it on, pretending that she's a princess in some sort of fantasy world. She would never have done anything like this, if she hadn't watched the Labyrinth when she was very little, and Sarah hadn't become her hero. Autumn is too afraid of her brothers finding out about her dress and teasing her about it. That is why she keeps it so well hidden. However, she never even dreamed that she would get a chance to live out her dream of exploring a real life fantasy world.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1][b]Creature's Appearance:[/b] The Mo-Po that Autumn finds is only five years old, (which is young for the average Mo-Po, since they usually live almost as long as humans do.) If it wasn't for the "Mo-Po" sound it makes, and the strands of translucent fur that hangs from their skin, they could easily be mistaken for an earth rabbit. Mo-Pos can jump high, and they like to travel on other animals' heads. They also have the special ability to change into wings, and attach themselves to the back of a humanoid creature.[/color][/size][/font]

Name: Xavior Von Dun (nickname - X)

Appearance: Messy brown hair that sits on his head. His eyes are also brown. X is about 5' 11". He is not very muscular, but has some muscles, about average build. He is wairing a brown flannel shirt on top of a simple white muscle shirt. He is also wairing jeans that ae modertly baggy and sneakers.

Bio: Xavior, who is 17, had a troubled childhood. When he was 12, his mom left his dad. Even though his mom and dad had been legally married, they never had any feelings of unity. Every night it was another fight. When his mom actually did leave, Xavior's dad turned into a drunken gambler. Most of the time Xavior was one his own.

One night Xavior was up watching TV when his dad walked in. Like many other nights, his dad was drunk. X asked his dad when he was going to do something with himself. Xavior's dad, in a drunken rage, started throwing stuff at X. He managed to get out the door before getting hit, managing to grab his shoes.

It was when he was out for a walk that he saw the portal. Some other people were there. One of them was Natene (I think that's demonchild781's character's name...) who was in Xavior's math class.

When Natene (or whatever) walked into the portal, Xavior followed.

Befriended creature: A komshi.

Creature's appearance: A komshi has thick grey fur covering its whole body. It basically has the body of a wolf except's face lloks like a crocodile's covered in fur. The komshi stands on all fours and is about three feet high. The komshi that acompanies X is about 6 years old and is an animal that gets hurt. Xavior helps him out so the animal grows attached to him. (This will probably happen during the RPG.)

Just a little about Natene:

A fair girl at the height of 5' 4", with light skin and dark hair and eyes she seems to glow with a sense of wisdom. Her frame is generously built with a curvy structure. Her hair is long and usually pulled away from her face. She hids herself among loose clothes and sneakers but is secure in her own skin.

I would like to keep her befriend animal a secret for right.

About time I posted.

Name: Caleb Troy
Appearance: Shaggy Black hair, dark brown eyes. Stands about 5'10". Moderately muscular. Seen wearing a pair of dark blue baggy jeans, white sleeveless shirt, and an oversized black hoodie.

Bio: 19 years old. Caleb and Natene have been practically inseparable for more than half their lives. They've shared each others ups and downs and have been there for one another through just about everything.

Caleb's parents had been killed in a car accident when he was about 9 yrs old which forced him to move in with his aunt. There was a reason she had never had kids. She never hit or yelled at Caleb. In fact, she rarely even acknowledged that he existed. She didn't even comfort him when his parents died. The first thing she said to him when he moved in was, "Well, I'm sorry...but don't expect me to change my life for you. You're gonna have to make the most of it." Then she walked out. She liked to go out and enjoy the night life, just about every day. Caleb hardly ever saw here, so he was forced to deal with the death of his parents and raise himself. Fortunately, he did not have to go through it alone. He met Natene.

She helped him find the joy in life. And he stayed by her side ever since.

The day the portal opened changed my life. It changed all of our lives. I remember walking Natene home from school and heading home myself. As soon as I walked in the door, I noticed that my aunt wasn't home. There wasn't the usual smell of cigarettes lingering in the air, which means she more than likely hadn't come home the night before either. I threw off my shoes and lounged on the couch, trying to find something to watch on TV. After a few minutes, I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I didn't feel tired or anything, at least, I didn't think I was. It didn't feel like I needed sleep. It felt more like I needed to GO to sleep. Its hard to explain, but now that I look back on it, it felt almost like I was being forced to go to sleep.

I woke up to static on the TV. I sat up with a jolt not knowing why. Then I glanced at the clock. It was just after midnight. ~How the hell could I have slept like a rock for so long?~ I thought to myself. I took a deep breath, then noticed how thick the air felt. Something wasn't right. I grabbed my sneakers and hoodie, and headed outside. Thats when I noticed the sky. My house sat just behind the middle school, and an array of colors bombarded me. I shielded my eyes for a moment, letting my eyes adjust to such a sight. I began to walk closer. There was something swirling admist all those colors. When I got across the street to the fence bordering the the baseball field, I stopped. The colors seemed to be emanating from what looked like an actual opening in the air itself...in space itself. I looked closer. Was that sunlight? Were those fields within that portal?

There was only one thought that raced through my mind as I ran off.

Befriended creature: a mercurial

Creature's appearance: 119 yrs old. A shapeshifter. Few have ever seen its true form since it can take the form of just about anything it chooses...As long as it remains relatively the same size and is a living thing. It can also alter its form in parts, changing only certain aspects to help it to adapt. (will discover true description later in story) Natural form is roughly 3 ft tall, 6 ft long.

Name: Caleb Hanna

Appearance: Caleb stands 6'2" tall and weighs roughly 130 pounds. He has a slim build, so he's not really muscular. Caleb has long blonde hair to his shoulders; he has sky-blue eyes and pale but radiant skin. He normally wears a silly grin on his face, but many times looks lost in thought. Caleb wears a necklace bearing a green emerald, a beaded bracelet, and a ring on his right middle finger of a yin-yang.
Caleb always wears tie-dye shirts complimented by faded blue jeans. His shoes are brown leather, but many times he walks barefoot.

Bio: Caleb was born in a small suburban town to two hippies who spent their life smoking marijuana. He never really had a good childhood, and he was an only child. Caleb is constantly listening to music, such as Grateful Dead and Bob Marley. Caleb is a wonderful artist, and he dreams of becoming a portrait painter. Caleb likes to spend his free time hanging out with friends or drawing, but he also spends much time getting stoned. Caleb has had many girlfriends, but he is now looking for a girl to start a relationship with for real. He is in search of true love.

Befriended Creature: Fairy

Creature Appearance: The fairy is only 6" tall and weighs only two pounds. It has pale bright skin and wavy long hair. She has two small golden wings. Her eyes are bright green, and her smile is bright and white. She is extremely fast in the air, and at times can be extremely vicious. When angry she will bare her sharp canines and her eyes will glow red with rage.
