Guest Sean
I know theres my Incredibles banner down there, but i've decided a Thread dedicated to all of them would do better. So heres my animated banners - The Incredibles - My very first animated banner, this one amused me, i think it has a great loop because of him trying to get the belt on. It looks like he's trying, and trying, and trying, lol. Hero - My second attempt, this one i liked doing also. I thought it wouldn't look right if it went from big fire straight to small, so i reversed it when it got to the end. The Matrix - The third one i've made. This took AGES, with just over 50 frames, i'm happy to see its done, lol. It loops too fast but i still like it. Kill Bill Vol. 2- Hehe, this one was fun, i'm going to make an avi to go along with this. Not animated because of the KB Avi restrictions. I like how the writing breaks the two parts up from Bill and Budd, onto Kiddo would have got confusing. Van Helsing- This took longer than the Matrix to make, this one has 55 frames, and when he's walking in the Cathedral it looks like the frames 'stumble' but its just his cloak. Your opinions please? Since you already had another thread with the first banner, I deleted that one because I felt that you would prefer to have this one more. -Syk3
Epsilon
As I've said over AIM, you're doing a very fine job. Especially since it's your very first animation. Your first is my favorite, plus it's funny to boot. It's a very smooth transition through out the frames. A very fine job on choosing your type of border, along with the still frame text. You don't really have any pixellation (sp?) or noise, which I admire you for. Since so many animated GIF.s out there seem to develop it in the process of the making. The second banner is okay, compared to the first. But rather then having it extent in the inwards-out wards motion with no stop or still frame. I'd recommend putting in a few seconds in-between the animation before it restarts with showing the frames. Other then the whole border thing, which you had mentioned to me. I like it. I'd say more, but I really am un-sure of animation. Other then the fact that your doing great for a beginner.

Guest Sean
Erm Sol-Blade i would prefer if you deleted your post. This is a thread for my material. Not yours, thank you. Oh and to your question Serraph-Angel. I used PSP along with Animation Wizard. Downloading trailers from the site James recommended to me. I'm currently thinking about making a Matrix animated banner. So be ready for that.
Epitome
I see, but how did you add your border to every frame. I cant figure it out. I use PSP as well so...
Guest Sean
Ah oh right, well when the pictures were all in the Animation Wizard, i used the Rectangle option to add the borders to them. It took a while, but it was worth it. Hope that was some help. --EDIT-- Hehe, after much fuss, i finally got it right. This took me ages to get like this, what do you think? I think it loops through to quick, but i still like it.
Skye
Nice. I realy, really like the last one. The hand thing with the reflection and the gel-like thing(sorry, thats what it looks like) are just to cool. ^_^ Your doing really well.
James
These are all very cool. I like the Matrix one the most, in terms of what you've chosen to capture. The only advice I'd give you is to actually increase the frame display time slightly, so that it plays more like an actual film (rather than being a bit too fast, as it is currently). Guest Sean
Thanks for all your comments, they all give me confidence to try different things. But before those sdifferent things happen, i made a Van Helsing banner. Also as some of ou can see theres a link to this page and my next project in my sig. So if you ever want to see what i'm planning then check there. I'm undecided about what i should do next. But on with the banner. This took longer than the Matrix to make, this one has 55 frames, and when he's walking in the Cathedral it looks like the frames 'stumble' but its just his cloak. Your opinions please?
