Guest Mana
Once upon a time, there was a grand kingdom called Telemnar. A noble king and gorgeous queen ruled over it with an iron fist, though they were able to keep everyone, even the peasants, satisfied. There were brave knights constantly riding around on tall steeds, and entertainers kept the citizens joyous all day long. The fields of daisies and tulips were the most magnificent sight you?d ever lay eyes on, and the crystal-clear lake was always occupied by young children. At the center of this beautiful kingdom was the grandest castle ever built by mankind. It was constructed one-hundred years ago by master architects, and it still looked marvelous. Its floors were made of the finest marble, and the walls were made of rare lumber from the Ancient?s Forest. King Vlad even had new dungeons put in five years ago with maximum security. It is obvious that this kingdom was the perfect place to live, even though it did have its usual dragon assault and goblin raid. But the one thing that made people come from all over the land was the King?s precious daughter, Josi. Her long hair was a beautiful reddish hue, and her eyes a deep blue. Her skin was extremely soft and radiant, and her body caused every man passing to gape at her stupidly. There was not one flaw about this young lady of fourteen. How could anyone be so perfect you must wonder. But Josi knew how; it was because she was possessed by the spirit of X, the no-named god of temptation. Josi had made a deal with X when she was only six years old; she promised to allow X to make her perfect and beautiful if he could take her to his dark castle in the sky when she turned fifteen. Josi was too young to think much of it at the time, but she made the deal, and on her fifteenth birthday, no one could find young Josi. King Vlad and Queen Anne searched high and low for their princess, but nowhere was she to be found. They even sent out troops to look for her in the wild, but still no trace of her was discovered. Then the ancient wizard Amano was summoned to the King?s Chamber. Amano revealed to the king the truth of where Josi was, but he would not tell about her deal with X. King Vlad did not sleep that night; he pondered all night on a way to get back his daughter. In the morning, the king called forth his best knight, Hyde. Hyde was to go on horseback and retrieve the princess; he had one month to do his task, or he would be punished severely. Hyde knew not how he would ever get to a castle that was hidden among the heavens, but he knew better than to question the king?s authority. So the next morning Hyde set off with his black steed and his steel blade that he had relied on for seven years. It was going to be a long journey ahead of him, but nothing could subdue him, not even dragons from hell! This story is pretty much like your basic gothic fairy tale; you have a handsome hero, a damsel in distress, and a wicked villain. I was inspired to write this after reading Frankenstein for some reason. This is one of my simple rpg?s, but trust me when I say it will be good; that is, if we have good role-players in it, so I?m only going to recruit the best of the best sign-ups, so you?d better post extremely well if you want in. If you don?t even really want to be in this rpg, don?t bother posting please. Remember, some people won?t be able to post in the story that much, especially the main villain, X. Now here are the roles I need to be filled: Josi (pronounced Yo? si) X *dragon rider *black mage *town prostitute [female] mysterious ranger evil knight [male] *You can completely make these people up from your imagination. SIGN UP SHEET Name: Age; Gender: Race: (human, elf, mage) Appearance: (you can use pictures) Biography: Weapon: Skills: :smirk: Here's my sign-up: Name: Hyde Age: 24 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: [see thumbnail below] Biography: Hyde was born and raised in the kingdom of Telemnar, but he was raised a peasant. He had to do hard work all day long just to earn his food he got once a day. Hyde was strong for his age, seeing as how he always worked and worked all day long. Hyde always looked up at the brave knights that rode by his home with envy. Never could he dream of becoming such a noble being as a knight. Ten years after Hyde's father died, at age 15, Hyde got the opportunity of a lifetime. Hyde saw a thief run by his hut in the middle of the night with a large red ruby; he knew what was going on and chased the man down. Using all of his strenght he was able to get the ruby back and take it to the knights. When the king heard about Hyde, he was at once called in and knighted Sir Hyde. Ever since, Hyde has been the hardest working man King Vlad has ever known. He will do anything to make his people proud. Weapon: Hand-crafted steel blade: this sword was made by Hyde's father, who was an excellent swordsmith for his entire life. This sword is not only swift and extremely strong, it is also priceless to Hyde. It has never failed him in battle. He is a master of the sword, and no one he knows can even compare to him in swordfighting. Hyde also has the ability to sense danger before it occurs. Angelus_Necare
Shucks, I'll give it a try... Black Mage: Name: Orin Priana Age: 27 Gender: Male Race: Mage Appearance: Check attachment please. Bio: Orin was born in a land far away from Telemnar, a rough land without law, a land where one must learn to survive on their own. Orin only knew himself for the longest time, never recalling anything the would resemble a parent or perhaps a guardian. Later in life he would wonder if he was birthed at all. His young years were hazy before he met the first person he would ever see as a young boy, his Teacher and makeshift father, Master Gilam. Gilam, a skilled mage who was feeling the end of his days draw near, raised the boy from a incoherant barbarian to his fast learning apprentice, who gained the name Orin, the name of Gilam's master. Orin's knowlege grew greater each day under his master's carefull watch, although he lacked the compasion and caring that would come from a seemingly normal guardian. Gilam taught the boy everything he knew, not because he cared for him, but so his gift and talents would carry on after he died. Orin was merely a convenience, and was treated no differently. Being none the wiser, Orin merely accepted this behavior as normal, and thus never experienced many emotions. After his master died, Orin did little more than shrugging the event off before he began to explore the world around him. He still learned after Gilam had supposedly finished his teachings a year or so before he died, leaving Orin at the beginings of surpassing one of the greatest mages that once lived. He has been traveling the world to this day, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings and any people he would chance come accross. Being the emotionless shell that he is, he rarely goes out of his way to interact with people, and when he is faced with social situations he will act in a very mechanical nearly unhuman way, only making himself more foreign to those around him. This however doesn't mean that Orin is heartless, he just lacks the emotions that would represent that he even had a heart at all. Weapon: Gilam's Staff: Orin inherited the tool after his master died. The young mage can weild magic without it, but that magic would be released in a wild blast, as opposed to the focused blows through the staff. Skills: Orin can weild a large variety of magic at a whim. He attains this power, but rarely has the need to use it. His limits are unknown. hope that works for ya
Spiritbreeze
Name:Josi Age;15 Gender:female Race: human Appearance: http://www.animegalleries.net/album/search/category/0/img/23 Biography:On her sixth birthday, she was playing in one of the castles gardens when a tall dark stranger approached her. He offered her a flower, and then tricked her into making a deal with him. Of course, being only six years old, she didn't understand what she was doing. Over the years, she grew up to be the most beautiful maiden in the kingdom. Being the princess, this was expected. But her beauty was so radiant, she could almost cast spells with it, and she was never refused any wish. She grew up happy, if a little spoiled, and loved her parents very much. Then, as the time passed closer to her fifteenth birthday, she began having strange, nightmarish dreams. She had forgotten her promise from so long ago, and had no idea why she these dreams plagued her. On the day of her fifteenth birthday, right in the middle of the celebration, he returned and carried her off. Oh dear. Weapon:I am not sure that a princess is allowed to carry one. Skills: As a princess, Josi is highly skilled in needlecraft, various forms of dance, and proper etiquette. On her own, she also learned a little archery, and is very clear-minded. Sword Breaker
Awesome... X... simplest name... ever... X? That does not even have a syllable! Meh, what can I say... simple works... what ever, I've been rambling, so now I'll just... ehh... sign up... Mysterious Ranger: Dwarves can be rangers too >< Haven?t you played WarHammer? Name: Nano Sventrademoni Age: 378 Race: Dwarf (Hope that's ok!) Appearance: Pic One Pic Two Pic Two Bio: Born deep in the heartlands (Heart mountains is a better term) of the Dwarven kingdom, far north of the human kingdoms, deep in the treacherous Oblivion Mountains. His parents were miners, middle class, and enjoying life best one can. Nano was a miner, as well, with his seven brothers and sisters. Nano was the youngest, so he was always looked down upon as the runt, and nothing but a burden. One day, whilst the group of siblings tunneled the snaking tunnels that Dwarves are so famed for the constructing of, they stumbled upon something of incredible value. In recent dragon raids, a jewel known as The Star of Alric (The grandest of the High Kings) had been lost. The dragon, who's name cannot be pronounced (Well, it could but you would need to rip out your tongue, and put it in backwards) had stored it deep within the recesses of its grand lair, were it had remained, a massive jewel atop countless precious stones and gold. The misfit group looked upon these riches with the greedy eyes most dwarves have, seeing only one thing. Riches beyond imagination. Whilst each of the siblings stole their personal stash, Nano did not look upon this as just another opportunity. Nano, having greater sense then most, looked not upon the gold, but upon the Star of Alric, and not with eyes of greed, but eyes of pride. He would return it to its rightful place, not for personal gain, but because no dragon deserved such beauty. Therefore, trying not to let his siblings no, he took the flawless jewel under his arm, and slinked away into to the darkness of the tunnels. His oldest brother was enraged that Nano would take such a thing, and, rallying the rest, surged into the tunnel. They screamed, beckoning Nano with promises of safety. Unfortunately, for Nano, he was slow, and his siblings soon threatened to overtake him. Therefore, they did. Nano, axe in hand, fought valiantly to protect the jewel. He knew that his siblings, if they got the jewel, would pawn it off to the highest bidder, which could not happen. Valiantly, Nano slew his siblings. Nano, still drenched in their blood, emerged from whence he had came. The high king was overjoyed when the jewel once more came into his possession, and, as he had expected, Nano was hailed as a hero. Unfortunately for poor Nano, this would not last. Hauling his blood-soaked body from the depths, Nano's eldest bother, Snorfski, told the tale from his perspective. According to Snorfski, Nano had viciously attacked his siblings in a fit of greed-driven rage. He had taken the jewel, and escaped to the surface, and would pawn the jewel off to the highest bidder! Snorfski told them. Snorfski, being the eldest born, was the one who they believed. As for Nano, he was banished. In Dwarven law, one who has murdered another dwarf, be it even to reclaim an artifact such as this, his or her punishment was to be banishment. Therefore, Nano, his axe, a keg of ale, and the cloths on his body his only baggage, left the Oblivion Mountains forever. He succumbed to life as a drifter, collecting bounty heads and robbing caravans on the way. It was a hard life, where Nano seeks nothing more then an honorable death. In other words, Nano now lives only in order to die fighting against something more powerful then he. He has become a Demon Slayer. Weapons: Nano posses his fathers axe, (As seen in picture) given to him when he turned 56 (A teenager, by human standards) It is of sturdy build, made of Dwarven steal, stronger then any steal made by man, eleven kind, or the savages of the Chaos wastelands. Skills: Nano, being a dwarf, is incredibly good with his hands, metal smithing especially. In addition, Nano is gifted with an ability that comes naturally to all dwarves. He brews ale! His ale are Dwarven spirits, alcohol so strong that most humans can?t see after one mug. Nano, of course, can drink it out of kegs, and only are buzzed. This is also useful because he is immune to drugs, or any other form of liquid poisons. Sorry if dwarves weren't supposed to exist, or if I made up a bit to much for my backstory or anything... well, whatever, this is my signup, take it or leave. NOTE: Demon Slayer dose not necessarily imply that he slays demons, Demon Slayer is the term given to banished Dwarves who seek an honorable death. ANOTHER NOTE: Pictures are WarHammer models, Slayers, Dwarves. YET ANOTHER NOTE: A Demon Slayer is similer to a ranger, they are mysterious, and they live alone FINAL NOTE: I OWN!.
