Don't be Discouraged

"Come on, Raodin! I heard there's a profit visiting this village, let's go!" Zetta Alamance's cries fell on deaf ears.
Her male companion sat, filling his face with the most wonderful food he had ever tasted and he wasn't keen on stopping any time soon. The teenage girl sighed in exasperation and swept a few strands of grey hair from her pale face.
"Raodin, if I leave now you'll be made to pay the bill. I suggest you finish, let me pay....and we get the hell out of here!"

The orange haired man looked shocked as he stared into his female companions face, "You....you'd do that to me?"
"Well, yes, now finish your food quickly." Zetta crossed her arms and sat back down, ignoring the hard stared from everyone else in the restaurant.
Raodin rushed to finish his food and waited while Zetta paid the bill before he was dragged off to see this profit in the centre of town.

The two arrived just as the middle-aged man had started talking, and they were shocked about what they heard.

"I have had a message from the Gods!" the man began, the usual introduction for any profit,
"There are two people in this town, two people that will deliver this wonderful town to ruins and disorder!"
A gasp from the crowd and mutterings from gossip spreading housewives filled the gap between the profits statements.

"I have seen a girl, a girl with magick powers!" another gasp "She will bring monsters who will....." at this point the crowd was hooked, the profit prepared for his grand finale as he started to shake, giving the effect of a seizure,
"The monsters...the monsters...they will...will....KILL YOU ALL!! Flee from evil, flee from the evil embodied in those two people!" with that finish, the man pointed a bony finger at Zetta and Raodin. After a pause that seemed to last an eternity, the crowd shouted and ran at the two travellers.

"What did we do?" Raodin shouted, already running for his life, Zetta not far behind him.
"I don't think that this is the time to think about that! Just run!!"
****

O_o; There's the start, since everyone who signed up so far is a human, you will fit in somewhere in that town.
Whether you be a beast tamer sneaking in to get some supplies or a travelling Shrine Maiden who came to see this profit, it doesn't matter. You need to be there and you'll either follow the crowd or you'll meet up with Quad and I later.
If you're still confused...erm...you'll have to PM me sharpish because I'm not going to be around for much longer, heh.
Have fun everyone, I hope this doesn't die before I come back, heh.

Sable had been wandering the roads for a while now. Most times she was able to spend in peoples house since she was shrine maidan. Some nights she would have to spend outside though, those were the cold nights. One her stops from random house to house the people had told her about a profit that was going to village to village. "Maybe I will go see this profit it may be intresting." Sable found out that he was coming to the village that happened to be just where she was haeding.

As she enter a village a relief come over her. Finally a nice warm and soft bed tonight, a good mea. It's nice to be back in a village. A crowd of people were gathered around one area. "Thats must be where the profit is."

Sable headed over to the crowd, "Please, pardon me. Thank you!" Sable moved to her way up to where the profit was. He looked like just a regular middle-aged man.

"I have had a message from the Gods! There are two people in this town, two people that will deliver this wonderful town to ruins and disorder! I have seen a girl, a girl with magick powers!" another gasp "She will bring monsters who will....." The whole time the cowd was gasping and the profit was making them believe what he was saying. She had to admit that he was a very good speaking, but he was probaly just makng half of it up to be more dramatic.

"The monsters...the monsters...they will...will....KILL YOU ALL!! Flee from evil, flee from the evil embodied in those two people!" Sable watched as he pointed his finger at two people. The crowd gasp and seem to pause there for a second. The next thing she knew the crowd formed a mob and were going after the two. One was a girl of most likely her age and a young man.

The profit stood there and watched as the crowd went after them. Sable met his eyes and frowned. Those poor people, they probaly didn't even do anything wrong. Maybe I could help. With that she took after the crowd in hopes that she could stop them in some way.

Poldarn loped along the street, his staff resting on his shoulder, the lantern glowing softly. He yawned behind the mask and looked around under hooded eyelids.

Bloody country bumpkins he thought, they'll probably try to burn me before the day's out...But I need some money... I guess a few pub tricks should tide me over...

He normally substituted his funds with some parlour tricks. Making a fire in his palm, forming some illusions, making a plant grow in the middle of the floor...simple stuff for the simple minded.

A voice caught his attention, loud, zealous and stupid.

"I have seen a girl, a girl with magick powers! She will bring monsters who will....."

Blood and ashes, it's the bloody Prophet. Of all the morons in this town... he spun on his heels at the familiar sound of a mob forming.

"The monsters...the monsters...they will...will....KILL YOU ALL!! Flee from evil, flee from the evil embodied in those two people!"

A sound grew in his ears, familiar and depressing. A mob. Formed. He started to walk quicker but the sound grew louder and louder, coming closer and closer untill he saw the pursued, a young girl and an orange-haired swordsman. He placed a hand over his uncovered eye and braced for impact.

The mob hit him like a fully-loaded carriage.

He was spun and jostled, pushed and pulled in the tide of people. He landed hard on his rear as he finally exited the crowd, just in time to see a young girl dressed in white and purple robes run by, concern stamped on her face. He got up and stalked off behind the crowd, itnent on revenge against the Prophet. The lantern on the end of his staff burned brilliant white and he ran off after them...

OOC: Just to let you know, [This] indicates Larka(the eagle) speaking, and (This) means Fell(the wolf) is speaking. And Aria when she doesn't want to be heard replies with {This}, but the animals can understand her if she speaks normally. And Larka can understand Fell, like he can understand her. And ~This~ will be for random animals or nature. Got it? Good.

Aria was a beast tamer, and was currently pressed against the shadows of one of the houses, she looked left and right quickly and darted to the cover of the next house. A strangely coloured eagle flew ahead and a large jet black wolf followed her, getting lost in the dark shadows.

[Most of the shops are deserted, they're all listening to a man who talks of gods.] Larka said.

(I think you should go to the one across from here. It is the furthest away so it will take longer for them to arrive.) Fell commented.

{Larka, keep watch.} Aria told the eagle, she nodded and flew to a perch where she would be able to see lots of things. Aria could see her wings, she never knew why they were strangely coloured. Larka's left wing was a mixture of oranges, reds, and yellows, while her right wing was a combination of blues, greens, and purples. The colours clashed in the middle of her tail, whilst her body and head were normal. Both wings had striped markings on them.

Aria and Fell dashed into the small shop and Aria took her bag off her shoulder.

{Guard the door.} Aria told the black creature. He nodded and slunk to stand beside the door frame.

Aria started to grab items that she would need, she grabbed lots of food items and some utensils that she didn't already have. She did up her bag and quickly slung it over her shoulder, and dropped a few coins on the counter, it was way below the cost of the items, but she could have left nothing.

{Alright, let's go.} Aria said, walking to the door and out. Fell stepped in behind her, and Larka swooped in to land on her shoulder.

[There is a loud commotion, lots of people are chasing two others.] Larka told them.

{It doesn't matter, perhaps then they'll know what it's like to be like me.} Aria said scornfully.

Aria hated her life, but loved it at the same time. She hated it because no one liked Beast tamers, except a rare few, only because they could talk to animals. Whenever they needed supplies, they would sneak into a town and steal them, though Aria would usually leave a few coins as she did. She loved it because she would never give up her ability to talk to animals and nature. Fell and Larka was her best and only friends and had been with her since she was a child, because they were the animals that she talked to that made everyone hate her.

They escaped from the town and headed back to where they were currently staying, which was a small clearing surrounded by a few trees. Aria put the bag down and lay on the soft grass. She heard the light beating and knew that Larka had taken to her perch, and a yawn, which meant Fell had lay down next to her, as he always did. Aria reached a hand down and stroked his head. He soon fell asleep, but she continued to stare at the sky.

"Does trouble just seem to follow you everywhere!?" Raodin yelled to Zetta, as he jumped over a barrel that was sitting outside of a small shop. Zetta quickened her pace until they were side by side.

"It wasn't me! ...This time." Zetta replied trying to look completely inocent. Raodin couldn't help but burst out laughing at her reply, "Raodin, this isn't the time to be giggling about the past! Do you want this mob to catch us!?" She yelled with a stubborn look on her face.

Moments after she said this, Raodin suddenly grabbed her as he took a sharp turn into a small alley way, a ladder was resting up against one of the buildings leading up to the roof. Zetta went up first with Raodin right behind her. As he reached the top the mob (well part of it, they must have split up) came into the alley and spotted him. Raodin kicked the ladder off the roof, then realized that they could just put it back up and follow them, he smacked his forehead and darted off after Zetta.

OOC: someone can run in and save us now if they want.

With a smirk upon her face, Ianus watched the two with her fellow Mazoku, Zelphea. The two watched through the black orb as the two humans ran from the mob that drove them away. The black orb rang quietly as it fed off of the anger and hatred given off from the humans that it showed. Ianus was pleased to see that Zetta was having a grand time.

"What shall we do now, milady?"

"Gather a few of your assassins and follow the Sorceress. Do not kill her at any cost."

The dark figure nodded and merged with the shadows behind. Zelphea looked to Ianus with anticipation. Ianus had other plans, but knew that she could not keep Zelphea waiting. With a sigh, she waved her hand and Zelphea bowed to her and left.

Her wings pulsated as it stretched itself against the thick darkness that enveloped around her, consuming all of her. With a breath of life, Ianus disguised herself as a human. The ring and orb had changed itself to become a ring of crystal and the orb an ethereal pendant. Breathing in deeply, Ianus opened a portal and stepped through, transporting herself to where the angry mob raced after the two humans.

Sable ran after the crowd, gasping for breath. "Why do angry mobs always have to run so fast." At one point she noticed the mob spilt and just picked a way to go hoping it was the right way. With every step she took the bells in her jingled. Every once in a while Sable would look back and see another man following behind her.

They came to an allyway and watch the two people climb up a ladder. "At least I know I went the right way." The ladder came down and the crowd parted for a second.

Pushing her way throw the crowd she made it up to the fron of the lines. A few of the people were already putting the ladder back up against the house. Sable went and put her foot on the ladder.

"Get off the ladder now!" One of the men cried.

"Stop t his now!. Those people are inoccent." Sable stated in a clear and loud voice.

"The Profit said that the women was evil and she come to desroy us. " A voice came from the crowd followed by the cries of agreement.

"No they aren't, the Profit was mistaken. I have had this same vision and that woman was not her." She began to lie.

"You are the one telling lies."

"She wouldn't lie look at her clothing, she is a Shrine Maidan." One of the members in the yelled. "Why would a maidan lie. " The crowd began muttering to themselves. Sable gave a sigh of relief as she went them slowly dispense.

Sable placed the ladder against the said of the house and calle dup. "If you are still up there, it's safe to come down." She waited patiently until the two made there way down the ladder.

Zetta sighed in relief and hopped down the ladder, landing next to the Shrine Maiden that had rescued the pair.
Raodin jumped down and smiled, rubbing the back of his head and laughing,
"Saved by a Shrine Maiden, that's a first!"

"Shut it, Raodin." Zetta growled, a blush crossing her cheeks as the thought sunk in.

"I suppose you want something in return?" she asked lazily, leaning against a wall, looking at the innocent Shrine Maiden before them.

"Oh my, no," Sable stated, bowing her head to the sorceress, "I just know that you're innocent and I can't stand seeing innocent people accused."

"Well, Zetta isn't exactly innocent..." Raodin laughed, looking to the sky as he remembered all the things the two had got mixed up in along their travels.
Zetta twitched and sighed as a vein popped in her forehead, her face reddening in anger.

"...Raodin."

"Yes, Zetta?"

Sable watched in anticipation.

"...One more remark like that and I'll blow you apart!"

"Help!"

OOC Yes, I'm back! Thanks for posting, guys.
