Misty, swirling lines of color filled the doorway, so that she could not see past it. Unable to see the other side, she did not want to go through; she was afraid. [/i]


[i]And then he appeared. She had no idea who he was, or where he came from; he just appeared next to her. They stood silently for a while. Then he asked,”Why do you not go through?” She answered, “ I am afraid of what I can not see. “ They were silent for a moment. “Do you want to know what is on the other side?” [/i]


[i]She thought for a moment. “Yes, I do.” Then she felt hands on her back, pushing her. As she fell through the doorway, she heard him laughing.[/color][/i]

[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]Kyla opened her eyes. Her older brother was shaking her, "Wake up, wake up! Stop dreaming! Kyla, wake up!" Sitting up, she shook her head. "What happened?" "You had another nightmare. Are you alright?" He looked worried. "Yeah, I'm fine. Now get out, I have to get ready for school."[/color][/font]


[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]At school, Kyla was distracted in all of her classes; she kept thinking about her recurring nightmare. Her friends asked her about it, but she would only tell them she was tired. Which was sort of true, considering the dream didn't really let her sleep. [/color][/font]


[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]At lunch, she accidentally bumped into someone. "I'm sorry," she apologized as she gathered her books off the floor. Standing up, she faced the stranger. "No, it's alright. I always enjoy meeting new people." Kyla froze. She knew him. She knew his voice. "You're-" He cut her off. "Just a friend." He passed her, whispering in her ear,"I'm waiting in your dreams." [/color][/font]


[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]She turned around," Wait-" he was gone. Just like that, she had met the laughing stranger from her nightmares. Shivering, she felt cold. What had just happened? "Hey, Kyla, you okay? You look a little pale." Her friend shook her shoulder. "I'm, just a little tired. Can we talk after school?" "Yeah, sure. Let's get to class now."[/color][/font]


[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]Kyla sat on her bed, waiting for her friend to show up. "Can I come in?" Her brother asked from the other side of her bedroom door. He opened the door when she didn't answer. She sat on her bed crying. "What's wrong?"he sat down next to her. "I can't sleep tonight. He'll come for me again if I do." "Who? What's going on?" Another knock on her door, and her friend entered. She saw Kyla's tear-stained face ," Okay, someone fill me in." [/color][/font]


[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]After Kyla explained that she had run into a guy from her nightmare, the three sat in silence. "There's no way it's possible. I actually saw him in my dream, and then at school. It can't be real." Kyla mumbled to herself. "Maybe we should stay with you tonight, so you don't fall asleep," her friend suggested. They all agreed. [/color][/font]


[font=Book Antiqua][color=darkorchid]That night, they all talked and watched movies and did everything to stay awake. But, of course, it didn't work. And Kyla fell asleep, tightly grasping their hands. Her brother and friend felt themselves being pulled, as though through something. And then they weren't in the room anymore; they had gone with Kyla into her nightmare. [/color][/font]

He walked around them, watching them as they watched him. And then somehow, before they could react, he shoved all three of them through the doorway. [B]Etcetera:[/B] Selene-Juusangou's name is an odd one. You see, her mother wanted to name her after the number thirteen, (She was weird that way,) and her dad wanted to name her Selene, after his late aunt. They came to a compromise, and named her Selene-Juusangou.

Selene-Juusangou absolutely detests her name, though, and just tells people to call her Juusangou.

Selene-- I mean, Juusangou dyes and styles her hair at home. She thinks it looks immensely cool.

Juusangou is a little protective of Kyla, but thinks the best way to learn is through experiance, so she often lets Kyla handle things by herself, unless asked to help.
But with these nightmares, Juusangou would do anything to help. Kyla seems pretty freaked from them, after all...

Age ~ Appears about 17

Appearance ~ Human. A loose, ankle length black dress, tied at the waist with a golden sash. An intricate design trims the bottom of her dress and the hems of ¾ length sleeves. On closer look, birds of all shape and size dance across a golden background. Her hair is tied in a loose pony tail, feathers mingling with the light brown strands. Her eyes are an odd golden color. She is rarely seen without some sort of bird close by.

Other ~ Not much is known about her, except that one day, she somehow came to be in the dreamworld, and now wanders about, without purpose or aim. She tends to have a quiet personality, but when she feels strongly about something will have her say. Her closest friends seem to be the birds that live there, and she can communicate with them. Half&Half Appearance: Her body is muscular... Her hair is fire, her hands are claws as well as her feet. She has the same big bat like wings and her face is like a dragon snout... very sharp teeth and blue eyes. 6'5'' and no tail.
