[FONT=Verdana][U][B]OOC:[/B][/U] I?ve been meaning to post this RP for a long time now, just haven?t had the time, and I decided to create Legend of the Eight Dogs first. This is a more thoroughly planned out RP than my other one, and hopefully it will fair better than the other one.

The City of Free Haven[/CENTER][/B][/COLOR]


The City of Free Haven is a large ocean side place with a large dock. It spans across a large area divided into four districts. The city's area is vast and endless, and it had been brought up as one of the biggest cities in the world thanks to the ever famed Milarto family who work their business known as Malachant Industries. It is full of all sorts of business that scatter it?s four districts and it?s a melting pot of cultures, and spiritual beliefs.

Its four Districts are just cleverly named after the four cardinal directions; The Southern District, the Western District, the Northern District and the Eastern District. With each district having various things located within their individual areas. Southern District is a large business heavy area fully of large and small districts and home to a lot of apartment buildings. The Northern District and Western District are full of houses and duplexes having some few self owned businesses such as restaurants, cafe's and photography studios there, the mall is also located in the northern district. Then the Eastern District is the area of the Docks were a lot of ware houses are located along and a lot of bad news people hang out at.

Then the center of the city has the several buildings belonging to the founding family the Miliarto Family and their business Malachant Industries, they being the leaders of the city, and the largest business owners within the location. The industries mainly work on various items from pharmaceuticals, and simple toys for children. There is nothing this family owned business doesn't deal in.

The City itself is overall peaceful with a low crime rate, and friendly people, but slowly does the destruction of buildings take place when the Wars of The Holy Rebellion are thickening these days. No one who is outside the sides of heaven and hell know anything about what is going on.

During the Demon-Angelus Wars the King of Hell had been killed by the forces of heaven, in which heaven now ruled all and the war had finally ended, but when this war had ended the darker energies and chaos of the world had no where to go. Slowly with this imbalance God himself had been corrupted and slowly did the Angels and the left over Demons notice this. Some ignored it being highly loyal to him, where others wouldn't.

One Angel, the most powerful of them even if she wasn't an Archangel, Adamo had sought to challenge the powers of God and faced off with him in final fight to free the balance, and recreate the world to a place of balance and prosperity once again. Though Adamo had lost and was condemned to spending a life on earth trapped within a Mortal Vessel.

Now has begun the Holy Rebellion. What angels had been on the side of Adamo and loved her so, had left Heaven and come to Earth, siding with the Demons that were left over from the Demon-Angelus Wars. They are now seeking out the powers of Adamo to destroy God and Heaven to restore Balance.

God knowing of this plot has also begun to seek out Adamo, hoping to get to her first. He would sure well spill her blood once more across the grounds of earth and this will result in the end of Earth, and Adamo's 'Dream' of the world as it should be would be unrealized and the world would fall apart.
A special angel was sent down to especially search out Adamo and assassinate her, he went by the name of Masato, but then he was changed when he finally saw Adamo. She was beautiful and so peaceful; it was hard for him to believe that she had been the cause of so much commotion in heaven. He was purified and after several days of following her, he revealed himself and told her of what he was truly sent to do. Adamo wasn?t shocked in the least, she knew that they would send angels to search for her or assassinate her, she also expected that there were demons after her as well. Adamo learned to trust Masato within a few days and soon became close friends. Now they are friends and are unafraid of the others sent to find them.
When God discovered that Masato had gone to Adamo?s side, he was furious because Masato was one of his strongest and highest ranked angels in heaven. He changed the orders, asking others to seek both of them out.

Then there is the Miliarto Family who has gotten involved with this resent Predicament. They searching out Adamo for protecting her from both sides, to keep the world from Ending, though they will only prove to be the ones who herald the end like other humans that get involved.

Now the Search for Adamo and Masato is on, and no one truly knows or understands what?s going on. For now Free Haven is the final forefront for this battle, and everything is still the same.
[COLOR=Navy][CENTER][B]Character Creation[/B][/CENTER][/COLOR]


Characters can be Demons, Angels and Mortal. I shall limit the number of Demons and Angels, no PC bad guys shall be accepted. Human Characters only have limited power, and I don't want everyone having the same kind of power or for that matter everyone having powerful powers. Only Angels and Demons, with the exception of Adamo's human vessel, have Adamo's gift of Healing.

I will base this RP a bit more on Character Development then plot Development. I want to see what people's characters will turn out over the course of the RP itself, so don't expect the plot to be fast paced. There will be Narrator posts I will do to Move the NPCs along the story line also whenever I see a necessary point to make one.

Notes on Different Character Types:
Demons - The Demons are working along those Angel's who chose to come to Earth to get Adamo. They usually having destructive powers to some minor or major degree. Each one having its own set area in expertise, like pyrokinetics, and the like, mainly their powers can be attack only.

Angels - The Angels that had come upon Earth to find Adamo and set the world straight to her dream and vision to cleanse the world of the evil that has been caste down upon it. They have calm and gentle powers if they have attack powers they are usually mild, and not powerful.

Mortals - They have very limited powers, exception is Adamo's Vessel, they are well Mortals. They know nothing of the war being waged across the earth. They though if involved in the war have high fighting power and are experienced fighters or in some field useful to any of the sides.
[U]I will be playing the part of Adamo, and Lrb is to be Masato.[/U] I want an equal amount of Demons, Angels, and Mortals. If I think there?s too much of one race, I may ask for some people to switch or play two characters.

1. Treat all people with respect, no one is to be insulted OOC at any point in this RP.

2. Killing off of a character must be talked about via PM first between killer, and the one being killed. If it is by me, as the story teller, I reserve all right to revoke this rule if I see necessary to do so. [COLOR=Red]Once your character is dead, they are dead unless I PM you with something stating otherwise.[/COLOR]

3. Description is a Plus, though you don't need long full scale posts. Write in the first or third person, either or is fine by me as long as no confusion is stirred as to what you are posting.

4. No fast progression of the plot will be accepted. You must, and I mean must keep in time with the plot and not speed it up just because you are bored. Like I said this is based a lot on Character Development, and Plot Development based upon the actions of the characters and what they are like shall the Plot be progressed.

5. Um, No modding, no cheating...and all that other basic RP stuff one should already know.

Two swords, one being a Dark sword, the other being a Light sword. This actually represents Luther himself, wanting to be a totally evil goon, but also wanting to be good because he doesn't really believe in evil. Luther is actually torn between being a good person (...demon) and being what he's meant to be, so most of the time he will use both swords, but depending on his mood he might just use one.

[B]Power:[/B] Luther can unleash a powerful shockwave from his hands, it normally seems like wind but it is actually a shockwave. The power depends on his mood. If he's in a great mood it would be a controlled wave, not really powerful enough to destroy a building (but possibly to knock a few people off their feet), if he's normal it can be from extremely weak to extremely powerful, and if he's angry and about to lose his cool the shockwave is totally out of control.

[B]Appearance:[/B] See Attachment, just ignore the Saber thing he has in his hands.

[B]Personality:[/B] Normally, Luther [I]tries[/I] to be calm and nice to people, but he rarely stays that way. Most of the time he is in a good mood, but when he's not Luther is snappy and quite dangerous. All it takes is a few wrong words to start him off. Luther rarely gets sad or feels any other emotions other than happiness and hate, the things that would make a human or anyone else sad would make Luther angry. Though he is a confusing man (...demon), his personality is quite simple. Make a bad move, meet a bad Luther. Make a good move, meet a good Luther. Luther has been like that for a long, long time. For as long as he could remember.

Because of hate is one of his strongest emotions, Luther can be extremely violent to even his friends or teammates when he's angry or feeling hateful. Like his shockwave power which is out of control when he's angry, Luther is also unstable when he's angry. It takes a lot of calm him down. Sometimes, Luther does keep out of everyone elses way when he's angry because he knows what he's done before, so he does have a little self-control. Luther does laugh sometimes, and isn't insulted by a simple joke. In fact, he sometimes likes to joke around even in a bad situation.

Luther is a person who values everyone else opinon, and not just his own. Though, when Luther thinks he's right, he's right. Even if he does take into account the opinons of others, once Luther thinks he's right he's right. That's also the same when he makes up his mind. If he's decided to do something he'll do it, unless someone talks him out of it. Though it's almost impossible for Luther to be talked out of killing someone, so once he's made his mind up about that there isn't any stopping him, apparently.

[B]History:[/B] Before Luther died he was actually called Luke Algerson. Back in his real life he was a trust-worthy man and a good one. Deep down he was hateful and angry, however. He was living in 1875, but had a rubbish life, no money, no friends, not much. He wanted to start a new life, so he moved to The City of Free Haven, but it turns out that was a mistake too. Luke got involved in a bunch of criminal since he moved to the Eastern District. Luke believed he had no choice but that wasn't the case. He did have a choice, but he just became a criminal himself. He later found himself becoming defense towards his follow criminals, and almost a murderer. When he and a few others were betrayed, Luke actually set out to kill the man who betrayed them. And he did. One night at the docks he took his knife and slit the throat of the traitor(sp?), dumping the body into the ocean. That was the third mistake in his life.

After that, Luke was found out by the police to be a murderer, and was hunted down by the police. Before he was caught, Luther took his knife which he killed and man with, and killed himself, believing that death was worse than prison.

And that was his final mistake, number four.

Luke later became a Demon. He spent his life as a Demon in hell, also being involved in the Demon-Angelus Wars. It was said that Luke became totally evil, changing his name to Luther because Luke was the name of a mortal. When he became a Demon in Hell, Luther lost all remorse for anything and anyone. He didn't even care if he was sent into a place were he couldn't exsist and there was nothing left of him. It was logical to say he was out of control as a Demon. When Luther became involved in the Demon-Angelus Wars, he was totally loyal to the King of Hell and no one else. Back then he didn't believe in the balance of good and evil, he just believed in making his King happy and making Hell the ruling place. All throughout the War Luther survived and kept loyal to his King, but when the War ended Luther was thrown down to earth, again, in the very place he moved to years ago.

Luther was 100 years old at this time. Being totally crazy-mad-evil for over 100 years, he had forgotten what it was like to be human and have some remorse. Memories of the past, were he wanted to be helpful and didn't want to get invovled in crime flooded through him and Luther then knew that the balance between good and evil was in ruins now. Luther felt that he had to make up for 500 years of evil and that one man he killed, so he decided he should help this time. But the drive of evil and his half-sinister soul was tearing him apart while he tried to be good. At first Luther decided he would just keep out of peoples way for starters, then move on to bigger things. But even that was killing him. A boy walking down the street on his own was tempting for Luther to kill them. But he didn't, he managed to stop killing people on sight at first.

It actually took Luther along time to totally control himself. On his palms there are scars from when he dug his nails into his palms from frustration, but he got there. He then moved onto helping people. At first, just small things got him angry like picking up a handbag someone dropped. But things changed when he was about to give up and kill everyone he saw, a young boy changed him. Luther was in an old warehouse mumbling to himself when a boy ran in crying. Luther not even thinking asked him what was wrong, and the boy replied saying he was being chased by bullies from his school. Luther had never been bullied, nor did he know what it was like to be chased so he decided to help the boy. The thought of being evil didn't even cross him at this time. Three other boys, and a girl from the boys school came in the warehouse, but Luther scared them off with a simple shockwave, knocking them off their feet. Luther didn't know he could do anything like that until that moment, and figured that he must have had that kind of power all along...

Later on Luther and the boy became friends. The young boy was callled James and had promised to help Luther. Luther merely told the boy that he was bad and didn't reveal anything about Hell or Heaven. James was helping Luther just by being his friend and a lot of the time, Luther had to protect the young boy from bullies in his school. All the time Luther had self-control, but he knew that someday his evil would come out again and again. So one night he decided to go to the main industrial part of the city and forge himself two swords: A Dark Sword and a Light Sword. It took days and seeking around to make the two swords, and when he was looking at them in the warehourse, James walked in and asked about them, so Luther had no choice but the explain about his past.

James wasn't afraid of Luther after he told his tale, in fact he thought Luther was somewhat "cool". Luther then explained about his shruggle to be good instead of evil, and again James understood. Luther and James kept contact for years and years, as James grew older and into a man. It wasn't long until Luther noticed that James was the same age as himself when he died, so Luther asked James to promise never ever to become a criminal or kill one. He also asked James to promise that when he dies, make sure he doesn't become a Demon because there would be no place for him to go. James agreed to this and got on with his own life.

Luther was 220 when he finally finished his struggle of becoming good. He was still evil instead as well as good, but he was also trying to keep that at bay. After all the years he forgot about his main goal, the one about the balance between good and evil. But he knew he could help in that when hearing the news of Adamo and Masato. Knowing this could be the turning point of his battle against himself, Luther decided that he'd join them and be loyal to them as he was once loyal to the King of Hell.[/SIZE]

Name: Takahiro "T.J." Jinrai

Age: 16

Race: Mortal

Weapons: X-Calibur(custom 9mm pistol), Ryu Blade(custom kitana)

Power: Takahiro has been granted the ability to change into an angel or a demon at will, each having their own special power. As an angel Takahiro can heal others and use defensive barriers. As a demon his speed and strength increases. In both forms or as normal he can teleport short distances.

Personality: Takahiro is usually the quiet type who keeps to himself. He is very sacrificial towards others and will do anything to help a friend. He is slightly overproctective towards his friends and extremely apologetic for things that he may not have had anything to do with.

History: Takahiro was born and raised in Hokkaido Japan. His mother was japanese and his father was a general in one of America's secret military forces. His parents divorced when TJ was only 10 after his father lost his temper with TJ's mother and lifted his hand to swing at her. TJ was familiar with them arguing all of the time even though they never realized he heard them. This time however was the last time he'd sit idly by. He ran in front of his mother and took the blow for her. Strangely, he didn't hate his father for it and never did. But still his parents divorced for their son's sake and TJ's father moved back to America. TJ lived with his mother until he was 16 when the war had been heard about. He received a message from his father to come to America along with his mother. They made their way to his father's base of operations and Takahiro was greeted very warmly by his father. He asked TJ if he heard about the war and since he had his father asked him also if he would fight in the war. Even though confused TJ volunteered to fight...but didn't know that he was going to lose his identity as a human. His father had him genetically altered to fight along side the angels as an angel...but also allowed him to be able to pass as a demon if necessary. TJ woke from a state of suspended animation and soon found himself completely changed. His physical abilities were drastically increased and was given special abilities. He now looks for the one called Adamo on his own to make his father proud of him.

The wood of the staff has angelic script carved in it.
[B]Power:[/B] Adamo has the power of healing, like the other angels and demons. She prefers offensive powers to defensive. Her offensive powers consist of attacks using the elements, her main power being Wind, but they're all mostly equal in strength, which is higher than any of the other angels, but weaker than God's to her disappointment. The power of these attacks vary greatly, depending on if she really wants to hurt whoever it is, or if she's angry.

[B]Personality:[/B] Adamo is nice and loves having friends, she especially enjoys to hang around with Masato, Luther and the others that joined her. She likes to show a tough exterior to others, but she's like everyone else if you get to know her, she just doesn't open up to strangers. Adamo is angry that God refuses to change the world to how it was, because it was better and more peaceful as it was, not the mechanised world that everyone lived in now, she's still stubborn about defying him and she wants to face him again in another battle to try to revert the world.
Adamo is strong minded and never admits defeat, even when she's lost. She's a quick thinker and solves problems quickly. She can easily keep a cool head in a heated argument, but she can also have a quick temper. Her best skill is her talent with computers and anything electronic since she's gotten used to it after living in a mortal host. Adamo's very stealthy, flexible and acrobatic and gymnastic and has been since she was an angel.
[B]History:[/B] Adamo was sent down to earth, encased in a mortal host, she was distressed since she'd lost her wings, but then she was happy, since she wouldn't have to see God. She decided to come up with a plan as how to face him in another battle. She couldn't believe that he wouldn't revert the earth to how it used to be, she thought he wanted them to be happy, not lazy.
Adamo's happy that some of the angels and demons have decided to join her, she couldn't do it alone, especially with the others that were after her. Strangely enough she also has a [B][URL=http://kisa.kun.free.fr/Astro/chara_shigure2.gif]Dog[/URL][/B] friend that follows her everywhere and can also fight in a way. He started following her when she travelled through a small fishing town, before she arrived at Free Haven and before she met Masato. Adamo decided to name him Kyo. He and Masato are her very best friends on earth, along with the others that joined her.

[b]Age[/b]: Nine hundred and some odd number.

[b]Race[/b]: Angel.

[b]Weapon[/b]: Sword of the Templar - Inscribed in some form of latin. May it, and it's bearer, guide you in your darkest hour.

[b]Power[/b]: Voice of the Saints - Lucius seems to have the uncanny ability to help any type of being who is suffering and has a good heart with his words. He can inspire them to battle, lift their spirits, share much wisdom- things like that. It's even been said, with some effort from Lucius, his words can bless you and improve your fighting skills, giving you some sort of a tangible white aura that signifies your blessed state. Yes, he can do many things with this and most seem to be very positive. But, to his enemies who have evil in their souls, this power is a bane, for all of his blessed words do the opposite for them without him meaning to- distracting their mind or causing their head to ache over the holy power that lingers, forced into their heads. Physically, sometimes it even feels like they have been cursed to slower reflexes or their blows doing less damage.. even getting small, seemingly insignificant wounds from out of no where- those pile up when you are in the middle of a swordfight. Surely it's just their imagination.

[b]Appearance[/b]: Lucius is a tall [6'5"], slender man who appears to be in his late twenties at the most. His hair is dark and mid-length, falling past his nose and just touching the bottom most part of the back of his neck. His eyes are green and they glow slightly, signify his dedication and devotion to the power of all the spiritual side of things. He is quite handsome, although he would never admit it to himself openly. The rest of his body is muscular and lithe, focusing on agility over raw power. He has several scars on his arms that refuse to disappear no matter how much they are healed. They were caused by some manner of demonic weapon early in his career as a warrior and are a reminder of the conflicts he has been through.

[b]Personality[/b]: Lucius has existed long enough to understand the value of a calm, objective mind. He is not quick to judgement, anger or anything like that- he can be, at times, very quiet. Of course, he's not stoic or anything- he enjoys, above all else, contentment and happiness amongst his peers. He approaches problems objectively- tries to see both sides of the coin. That's one of the reasons he is on Adamo and Misato's side in all of this. He values others opinions as well as his own and is open to ideas, theories or otherwise that people can bring up- he is flexible and will admit defeat if logically proven to be wrong. Amongst all these placid intellect is a quiet passion to better the world, to see "good" be spread across the land- maybe there is a little zealot hidden in him somewhere.

His openness to good cheer and contentment does not always leave him content or happy, quite the opposite. He has much to reflect on, with the recent events. He had served, quite loyally, to God through many conflicts- lost several good friends in them, too. There are skeletons in his closet, large ones, that he has to remember once in a great while just to remind himself of why he is dedicated to goodness, objectivity and things like that. He tries not to let his brief periods of melancholy rain down on others as best he can. He values his friendships and is sorely disappointed by the 'civil war' that has broken out between brethren, but he it seems to be, unfortunately, necessary.

He brings intelligence and wisdom, in whatever form it can be brought, to a very chaotic situation. If he had an army to marshall, he would be a, no pun intended, godsend- his tactics are well known to be very effective against enemies. But as it stands, he is content with whatever role he plays in all this and sincerely hopes that the best possible outcome will arise eventually.

[b]History[/b]: Lucius was formerly Lucius Kegan. Beyond that, he doesn't say much- he leaves it alone for his own quiet contemplations to think back on it. Most people believe it to either be traumatic or dramatic, but they do not have much of anything to go on so their guess is as good as yours. Whatever the case of his arrival, he arrived some time ago and began his service to "good". At first he was merely an operative- using his power to console or speak to mortals who were deemed important or worthy of an answer in comparison to the others. Through disciplined, loyal service he became friends with a broad range of people - common warriors or lesser influential people and several "higher ups". He has been a very key member of the Angelic order for several centuries and was tested in battle on several occasions, acquiring his scars from some sort of occasion during one of these "tests'. Whatever happened there got him promoted to a position of authority, giving him tactical command of a portion of the angels. He awaited his time when his strategic skills would be truly tested, and he got his wish. The Demon-Angelus Wars were one hell of a proving ground.

The long, tired battle lost him several friends permanently, but he proved himself as a warrior and a general valiantly- as did many other angels. Together, as brothers, they defeated their long-hated enemy and scattered his forces to the winds. Finally, good seemed to have won and Lucius was happy that he had been able to play a minute role in it. He expected a long time of peace to come and settled in. However, within a short amount of time [for a creature with such longevity as an angel] the unexpected happened- the incorruptible was corrupted and his brothers had been divided. This was all much to take in, but he had recognized the slow progression God had made away from his "usual" self. It was hard to tell, but it was there- a difference, ever so slightly. Something was amiss, something was not right here..What a pity that it would ironically befall the defeater of evil to become that which he so hated- and his brethren were divided against each other. It was unfortunate, but to seek an end and right the wrongs that had occurred from the total destruction of the formerly most evil one, he had to take up arms against his brothers too.

As Adamo worked to right the wrongs as well, he helped- and when she lost, he left heaven with whomever else would come to continue the fight. He is there still, waiting and doing all he can to aid their cause.[/color]

Power: Jonah spends most of his days training with his stolen weapon. Though he is good at it, he still doesn't know how to us it like one who was trained by a master.

Personality: Jonah keeps to himself most of a time, a habit he got from living on the streets. He does speak his mind when he wants to comment on something, and doesn't hold back on that. Jonah also has strong self-control, even being able to define his god. He keeps his cool, something else he learned from living on the streets.

Jonah is questioning his beliefs, and he seems uncertain of things going on. He wants to be on his Lords side, but can't because he believes his God's choices are right. So he thinks before he strikes, and can hesitate sometimes.

History: Jonah has been running all his life. So long, he has decided to block what he was running from in his mind. Though he knows he ended ended up in the Eastern Distrect. And he knows he has made it. And he knows he will never go back from where he came from.

Jonah only found two things his home after he was down running. The church, and the streets. He felt God's power with him, giving him the stregth to live on, and all he needed to do was pray in the church. When he asked for it, God gave him to power to. The nuns even gave him the name Jonah, because he had told them he was running away from something.

The streets though, gave Jonah his freedom. If you could make it on the streets, you had more freedom than a person who lives in a home. He felt his life becoming one big adventure, and the streets were his roads. He did things some people never do on a daily basis. Like steal.

One time, when Jonah was looking at windows, a dojo came at the conor of his eye.
He needed cash, and it was night. So he broke in. After he made his way across the padded arena like area, he found himself facing three swords. He took one, because
he learned that you only should take what you need, and lefted with it. Though, he felt attachted to it, and decided to keep it. And to waste time, he would pull it out and swing ithe sword around, cutting the air. But not one day.

When Jonah was in church, praying a little bit after mass, his ear drums burst with the rumble of a deep voice. It told him to strike her, for she would bring down God's empire. So, Jonah found him face to face with a delima. Not strike her, or strike her.
He didn't want the heavens to fall because of him, but he didn't want his hands to be stained with blood. After long thought, he decide the heavens could fall, he just didn't want another human's blood staining his hand. So, he set off to find her, so he could protect her from the ones who decided to strike.

There is no known proof of how Melanira uses her power. The only ones that do know are the 7 Satans, Adamo, Masato, Lucifer- her father, and the Creator. They had soon realized that she received her energy from the negative aura coming from each individual that she saw, as well as the positive aura that powers her light energy. She also receives power from her two orbs, Romella- the Crystal Star and Anocte- the Onyx Star. For some odd reason, Romella and Anocte acts as her eyes, seeing all that is around her. They also act as a glimpse into the future and can become a powerful weapon of any sort. They were created from a piece of the Creator's powerful miracle and a piece of Lucifer's majestic sorcery.

[B]Appearance:[/B] Melanira- A silvery black glow looms around her and highlights her ethereal form. She bears a crown of white silver and rare black gems unknown to all. Six shapeless wings wrap around her back and her luminescent figure shows her celestial-like gown. None has ever seen her eyes for she keeps her glowing black blindfold on. It is a curse that she had attained from an angel she had fought before. All in all, she is empyreal and esoteric, some might say angelic, others say she is the unearthly being known to all, demons and angels alike.

She is one of the greatest dragons that have guarded the underworld from unwanted visitors. She is the leader of the dragons and has great power. With her thick scales, she has undamaging armor, with her great claws, she can strike any with one swipe, and with her powerful sorcery, she is a formidable dragon to deal with. There is none other like her. She is an ancient dragon with scales of gray and black with yellow eyes, great horns, and the symbol of the underworld on her stomach.

Anastasius' spirit is contained within Andamos and Tagavi, the two swords that can fuse to become Sindarus. It is the ultimate weapon that was created from the powers of the ancient demons. It was created to store within it the greatest threat to all, which was Anastasius.

[B]Personality:[/B] Words cannot describe Melanira's persona. She is filled with darkness, solitude, independance, and just pure essence of mystery. Some say she has no personality, while others say various things. It is unknown as to exactly what she truly holds. All that is known is that she is powerful and god-like. She is unpredictable and just merely mysterious. Yet, unlike her demonic form, the dragon of death that resides in her is a great deal of rage, protection, power, and pure malice. She cares nothing for anyone and will take no prisoners. Anastasius is the complete opposite of Melanira. She is unpredictable, but her greatest rage is known from the depths of Hell to the heights of Heaven.

[B]History:[/B] For many years, Melanira has been ruler of the underworld. No one has questioned her authority or has tried to. After her father's death, she took his place and ruled all. Everything was peaceful and nothing had changed, yet for a few things. She had appointed 7 of her father's most trusted and powerful demons to uphold the honor of becoming the 7 Satans. She has never had any trouble with the underworld for she kept things in order. Melanira was feared yet loved. She was a great ruler of passion and mystique. It was strange to see Lucifer's daughter become the exact opposite of him.

As the years passed by, the underworld had become a place of order and counsel, unlike the time that her father ruled, where chaos and imcompetent order reigned. It was known to all that the Black Gates, more commonly known as Satyx, would never be opened and the 8 demonics would not be released. In doing so, the only way to ensure that the Satyx Gate would not be opened was to conseal the 8 demonics into each individual object that the 7 Satans and Melanira would have. But, it wasn't long before the portal to earth was opened and word was received that Adamo was on earth.

Angered and upset, Melanira did not want to work with the angels, nor did she want to have anything to do with them. She consulted the 7 Satans and the final decision had coem to an end. If Adamo was to be on earth, then chaos would be caused and no order would be placed. If it meant order, then Melanira would help, but for a small price.[/size][/color]

Name: Escuro Miliarto

Race: Altered Human (see History for explination)

Weapon: Two metal poles

Power: Escuro can harness and control the elemental energies of darkness.

Appearance: Although he is 55 years old, Escuro looks about 25. He's a very tall man at 6 feet 4 inches in height. He's very strong, and he looks it. He has short, black hair. His eyes are brown, but turn black (with a little red mixed in) when he uses his power. He has a strange mark, in the shape of a pentagon, on his back. It's not normally visible, because it's covered by his shirt.

Personality: Escuro is someone who never loses control of himself. It's impossible to provoke him. He's an expert at reading other people, and a very skilled manipulator of them. It's virtually impossible to read him, and if you're going to attempt to manipulate him, you won't succeed.

Escuro is willing to do anything (and I do mean anything) to get what he wants. He doesn't care who he has to screw over. and once he has his mind set on something, he will absolutly never give up. He's also quite smart, and a quick thinker as well.

History: Escuro Miliarto was once just a normal human. Because of his parents' wealth, he had access to pretty much anything he wanted. His parents made sure he got the best education possible, and he quickly shot ahead of his siblings academically. When his parents starting teaching him business skills, he prooved to have a great mind for that sort of thing. He was the definate pick to take over Malachant Industries when his father died.

Escuro's life would be changed by forces he had no knowledge of. When the King of Hell was destroyed, the dark energies were lost. They had nowhere to go. Some of this energy found its way to Earth. While on the way home after a colleague's going-away party, Escuro crossed paths with some of this energy. He was 25 when this happened.

Escuro was changed by this energy. He didn't become a demon or anything, but he wasn't quite human anymore, either, though he still looked like one. This change gave him his power over darkness, but it also affected his mind. Escuro Miliarto was no longer the same person. Mentally, he was closer to demons than humans. The only physical change was the appearance of the pantagonal mark on his back.

Escuro didn't tell anyone what happened, and pretended to be the same person he was before. No longer truly human, he doesn't age anywhere near as fast as humans do. Physically, he is still 25. This has been noticed by his collequges, but dismissed as inconsequential. Escuro is still next in line for head of the company, and anticipates that his father will soon pass away.

One day, Escuro happened to see a woman walkin by. He instantly knew that her origins were not on Earth, as most demons and angels would have. He could sense her power. He managed to learn her name: Adamo. He has his own plans for her.

Power: Amaya only has the power of healing. And she can't heal fatal wounds completly, either. She's still learning how to control them

Personality: Amaya is quiet, to say the least. She doesn't like to talk to many people, but then again, she dislikes most of them. She refuses to speak her mind at almost all times, and only shows her true emotions when she's sure nobody's looking. She is kind and loving, though, despite her shy exterior.
History: Amaya's past life was difficult. She had been orphaned when she was six, and so she wandered around The City of Free Haven, living with whoever would take her in. In the end, none of the families seemed right to her, and so she would leave in the middle of the night, and looked for another place to stay.

By the time she was sixteen, she had worked for and nearly lived in a soup kitchen in the Eastern District. She had resisted the temptation to join in on many of the criminals there, but instead kept to herself and help those who needed more than her. She befriended a couple of orphans just like her, and made sure that they learned some basic skills to help them grow up and move away from the criminal community.

In the end, though, Amaya had died of a strange disease that she caught from falling into the ocean during the winter. To be even more exact, she had died from being kidnapped one day. She had then tried her best to escape, but ended up being drowned in the proccess by her kidnapper.

After death, Amaya had went to heaven, but had kept to herself. She didn't wish to talk to anyone she didn't know, and even if she did, she never knew what to say. The memory of her kidnapping had stayed vivid in her mind, and thus, she was almost scared of everyone around her. The fact that she was surrounded by not only strangers, but demons as well had been the main factor of why she didn't communicate with anyone.

Despite this fact, Amaya had looked up to and respected Adamo. Her rebellion against God had only increased Amaya's admiration. After she was banished to a mortal vessel, Ayama decided to follow the crowd to Earth and to help Adamo with her dream of the World's purification, if it can be called that.[/font][/size][/color]

A dangerous power that Lust possesses is the ability to take a piece of a mortal's soul, a piece of their sinful desire, and grow stronger and younger.

Yet, she is a well respected demon and acts as Melanira's right hand demon. She is determined and well-minded enough to protect Melanira from harm. Lust is calm and tranquil, but will battle beside Melanira when the time comes.
[B]History:[/B] Lust is the highest of the 7 Satans, and mainly only listens to Melanira and rarely others that are in higher positions. The 7 Satans are a turn on the 7 Deadly Sins, each of them are named after one of those sins and have attributes that connect them to that sin. In Lust's case, she usually conceal much skin and her personality and powers are connected.

I have volunteered for the role of Masato, and Ohkami agreed to let me play as him, so here's my second sign-up form:


Name: Masato

Age: 21

Race: Angel

Weapon: Twin swords

Power: Some healing, as all angels have, but not as much as most. As what is basically the angelic equivelent of an assassin, his powers, based mainly in the element of Light, are more focused on the offensive than those of most angels, but still less destructive than those of demons.

Appearance: Like all angels, his true form is essentially the perfect human body, but to other humans, he looks about average. That means slightly overweight, by the way. Most people are overweight, and because they see an average-looking person when they look at him, he appears slightly overweight.

Personality: More aggressive than angels normally are, which fits his job as an assassin, but not as aggressive as demons. He's also very cautious, and won't rush into anything. Resourceful, as well, and a quick thinker. Very good at coming up with and pulling off complex plans. He, like all angels, has a moral code that he never violates, but his is different from the norm, as fits his job as an assassin. He'll do what he believes is right.

History: Before death, Masato was not the type of person one would expect to end up in heaven. Most of his life was focused on getting even with a paid killer who'd offed his father for a reason he never learned. But along the way, he met a young woman by the name of Treana Linstrovon. She loved him; he considered her a tool. But he did eventually develop feelings for her. Which was why, when he caught up with his father's killer, he sacrificed his own life to save Treana's. That's why he went to heaven.

Masato's personallity made him a perfect fit for the job he took on. He would hunt down and eliminate those whom he was instructed to. After her rebellion, Adamo became one of those targets, and Masato was sent to Earth to find her and kill her.

At first, Masato had thought that finding Adamo would be easy. After all, angels and demons, while looking like regular humans to regular humans, were seen as what they truly were by other immortals. Adamo's real body was that of a human, but she stil had an immortal aura, visible to other immortals. Immortals like Masato. However, Free Haven was so huge that, even though he could pick her out of a crowd without a problem, the odds of her being close enough to her to actually be able to see her were slim to none. Enter Escuro Miliarto.

After several days of searching, Masato saw a man with the same kind of aura-immortal being in a mortal body-that Adamo would have. The man could see through to Masato's angelic self, and introduced himself as Escuro Miliarto, next in line for CEO of Malachant Industries. Masato recognised the name; Malachant Industries practically owned Free Haven.

Masato knew a resource when he saw it, and Escuro knew the value of being owed a favor by an angel. Escuro gave him access to Malachant Industries' resources, and he was easily able to locate Adamo. But when he found Adamo, Masato did not kill her. Instead, he joined her (See Ohkami's introductory post for more detail), and the first thing he did is tell her how he was able to find her. Now, not even Malachant Industries would easily be able to locate them as they searched for a way to defeat God.



Yes, I did tie in my other character there. It seemed appropriate. Ohkami, tell me if there's anything wrong. Oh, and I reccommend starting this up sometime soon.

Personality: Alaríel is very gentle and mild-mannered, detesting violence unless absolutely necessary. He loves to read and write and occasionally turns his hand to painting.

History:

Alaríel in life was amongst the citizens of [url=http://www.theology.edu/lec22.htm]Babylon[/url] and was born 605 BC during the reign of Nebuchadnezzer II. He and his father, an architect who had a hand in designing the Hanging Gardens, lived in luxury and comfort for the most part until the plague was brought to their part of the city in 627 BC. Most of the household caught it, including Alaríel's father, and died of the disease. The house was pronounced condemned and the interior burned along with the survivors of the plague, including Alaríel. As he had died an innocent, he went to Heaven and remaiined until he Masato and Masato in turn met Adamo.

A close friend of Masato and one of the Eldest, he chose to side with his friend against God . He knows Adamo little but out of loyaly for Masato, he makes his policy any friend of Masato's is a friend of his.

As one of the Eldest, Alaríel did not find it easy to be able to make a clear choice between his friend and God to Whom he had given his unwavering loyalty for thousands of years. On occasion, he still satruggles with his conscience but overall believes he made the right choice.
