Wow. It has been quite a few months since I have last started a thread on my banners and such. :sweat:

I've been pretty creative (for lack of a better word) for the past few weeks. I made a few banners and a few banners for my [url="http://www.myotaku.com/Haze"]myOtaku page[/url]. *nudge nudge* Anyways, I must say that this bunch is quite possibly my favorite bunch ever. ^__^ Majority of them feature the great Hatake Kakashi, everybody's favorite [strike]sexy beast[/strike] ninja from the kick-booty show Naruto. ^__~

Sora from Kingdom Hearts. The kanji in the background says "hope." It took +30 minutes to create.

Riku from Kingdom Hearts. This one is specificly created to use on OB, as the grey background will blend into the background of the site. This one took +40 minutes.

This one right here is my favorite that I have EVER made. Honestly. It took about +1.5 hours to make, simply because I had to get it just right. I'll be using it in my sig shortly. ^__^

[size=1][color=SeaGreen]I like the 2nd two, but Im not into the 1st one that much.

But here I go with critiques:

1.) I really dont know what it is about the banner, but it just doesnt seem right to me. It may be just me but I just dont like something about it. I dont really know how to put it. Ill get back to you when I think of the words... lol.

2.) The second one is amazing. I love how on one side of the banner its checkered and faded, while on the other its not either. And the placement of the text works perfectly. Also, the way you "blended" the picture of Riku in there is perfect. Its in a very good position as well. Its a very nice banner.

3.) I also love this one. The background graphics are amazing. Once again with the checkered/dot type thing in the backgorund is awesome. I also love how you faded the eye of Kakashi. It brings alot of attention to it. The only thing I can see wrong with it is the text. I dont think it fits the picture. But other than that, excellent work.[/size][/color]

[Baron Samedi]

[size=1]As I've come to expect, the backgrounds to all of your banners are ace. Nice work. But, I a bit of a problem with your work.

Where are the pretty, appropriate and good-looking fonts? Those fonts you've used feel horribly unsuited to your work. They're so...stock-standard. Choose different ones, or download some off the net.

Aside from that, the only thing I don't like is your blending on image #2. I think the blurring behind him isn't very...appropriate. Or stylish. But, your designs and layouts are good, and the background excellent. Your cropping is masterful. Just the font and the blurring, really.[/size]

[color=gray][size=1]All of your banners are great lets start with that :P Especially the backgrounds. But here comes the critical half of Boo >:^o

The first banner with Sora on it... To the right it starts to become rather plain. The text on it doesn't really help much to make it look less plain. One word isn't enough for that.
I actually like the text on it... Makes it look more stylish ^_^

The first reactions I got from the Riku banner were: 'Teh white pixels around Riku! Argh! >.<' and something that's hard to describe. But here I am trying to describe it anyways.
It's sort of big in the length, Riku could go like an inch to the left and the right part could go way to the left while you cut off a part of it aswell. The same effect you have now (which Epitome described) can still find place on the banner when it's less big ^_~
[b]-[/b] I found this the most attractive banner though.

Banner 3... I don't know if you noticed but the picture you used on it has a really pixel-ish edge.

Heh. Anyways, thanks all of you for your input. Like you said, I do need to crop out some on the Riku banner. It was really big, but I just liked all of it, so I didn't crop any out. It is rather simple...but I liked it. Yeah, I need to put more text on there.... I just didn't have a good quote for Sora. X__X

I chose to use really simple fonts for all of these for the reason that I didn't want to draw attention to it. I will go back and fix the Riku one momentarily for you Baron, but I don't think I want to change the Kakashi text. The text would have been loads smaller, but that size is the only way you could actually see what it said. I wanted to draw as little attention to the word "sharingan" as possible...simply becuase I wanted to draw the eye towards the actual sharingan on Kakashi-sensei. But because I love you....I will try another font for it. *sigh* While I'm at it, I'll take out those silly white pixels...I was just too tired to remove them when I first made it. ^__^

More of Kakashi-Sensei!!!!!!!!! w00t!

Yeah... I changed the font on my Riku banner, and then I cropped out a lot of stuff. So it is smaller, and (hopefully) prettier. ^__^ I also got rid of the white pixels. Hooray for me!

The first Kakashi banner will most likely become a mO theme. I really tried to keep it simple with the text...that is why I just used Arial. It is mostly the same as the banner above, but the background is different. I have [u]never [/u]done a background like that. I was just messing around with various settings... I might change it, but who knows.

The second Kakashi banner is rather dark. I can't find a way to lighten Kakashi, but keep the background colors bright. >__< I don't really know if I like this one yet...

And the final Kakashi banner. Yes, it is the same as above....only the edges are smoother. ^__^ w00t.

With that text it looks alot better. But with the other 2 new Kakashi ones you just posted, its really hard to see the text. So just make it lighter and it will probably look very nice.

I was going for this smooth, flowing feel. It took me about 1+ hours to crop the actual picture because the original background was all brown and black, thus really hard to cut out. -__-[/color][/size][/font]
