[size=1]Corey rolled onto the grass, gasping for air. He never liked to run, always prefering to take things rather slowly and peacefully. His lungs felt like bursting.

[b]Corey-[/b] "Fuck this... I'm quitting..." Aria leveled a stare at him that could have brought down a house.

[b]Aria-[/b] "No way. You're going with the rest of this team. Besides, we can't win if you're not there." Corey placed his hands on his fast moving chest and shook his head.

[b]Corey-[/b] "No... Not that... I smoke rolled cigarettes... Tobbacco... My pouch is back at the villa... With my rolling papers..." He gave a little more effort into getting his breathing under control and won a slight victory. He stopped breathing raggedly and started in a more uniform fashion. "God damn..." Aria shook her head and.

[b]Alan-[/b] "Get up, man." Corey nodded and got up slowly. The others started marching again and he fell in line, trying to keep his mind off of his lungs and legs. He thouht how much he'd like a nice smoke right now, and immediately put it out of his mind. He knew he wasn't really going to quit, but the thought was a good one. Corey turned his thoughts to the other team. A lot of interesting people were on it. A lot of interesting people were on his too, more than half of which he didn't know the names of. He'd definitly have to make a habit of introducing himself. Sure he was an oddball but that didn't mean that people hsould think of him as a shut-in.

Corey rubbed a hand on his chest and sighed mentally. He wished he could be back on the roof, inhaling the sweet night air. It would be a welcome thing tonight. He wiped sweat from his eyes and thought of Beth. She was nothing if competitive. She'd gotten her team out very early while they'd been either sleeping or eating. Definitly admirable. Corey let a smile creep onto his face. He definitly like her.[/size]

OOC: Sorry, but that's just not something Connor would do. Not in a million years I'm afraid. He'd be a lot more subtle about it for one thing. Second, he speaks with a level tone almost all the time. That's what I made him to be. Not blaming you or anything, just thought it needed to be pointed out.

Connor sat silently when the group stopped for lunch. He watched them all; their behaviours, their reactions. He noted especially Charles and Aria. He had purposely tried to piss Charles off to watch his reaction. A little hobbie of his. He frowned on his own effort though. He didn't think he was too convincing. Well, convincing enough for Charles, he thought. Aria he watched because, quite frankly, she had interesting behaviour. He noted how she continually moved closer to Kim, and the other girl's awkward reaction. He deduced the situation easily: Aria had a thing for Kim, but Kim didn't have an attraction to Aria. How interesting, he thought.

Now, as they moved on, he kept his usual pace, but slightly faster to keep up with Aria's harsh leadership.

OOC: Man, a lot of characters seem to be liking Beth. I can't help but wonder, who will she choose and guys will be in the dozen that was shot down? Just something I would be wondering. You can't help but wonder.

IC: Drake watched as Sakura ran up near Beth. So innocent, so free, he couldn't help but be filled with joy as he watched her. Everyone was slowing down a lot, because they reached the the steepest part of the hill at this point. Even he was slowing down. He had to motivate himself and the others. He thought of rewarding himself with a pizza tonight. This would hurt him, but it would motivate the team more. "Come on guys, don't give up now! If we win, there will be pizza tonight for the team and I'm buying!"
He didn't know if it was the mention of pizza or the fact that he was going to buy it, but everyone seemed at least a little more motivated. They started going faster to about a jog. They were starting to catch up with the other team, just a little bit though. While walking, he saw Kim and Aria jogging next to each other. It was faint, but he thought he could see that Kim was blushing. He looked and saw that they were holding hands.
(DAMN! I was going to try for her after the challenge, but I'm afraid that I've lost her too. Now who was there? I don't think that there are any other girls that I might have a chance with are left. I may not have tried for many, but it looks like they like someone else. Beth, seemed to be falling for Malcolm, which is kind of a bummer. Kim, it looks like is falling for Aria. So, now who? I could try for Sakura, but I wonder if I should. Ah well, I'll think about it later)
They kept walking. Drake had plenty of motivation. He was going to dine on pizza tonight if they won. If they didn't, there would still be pizza, since he chipped in for the pizza party that he planned on having tonight. But winning, gets him more pizza. He kept walking at a fast, yet steady rate.

Charles: but we don't....i like driving my car around

Alan: well john have you made up your mind which chick you want to go out with?

John: i think both kim and aria are cute i want to get with one of them but i dont know which one

Charles: well i actually like cassie she is just soo cute man

Alan: hmm interesting i actually like sakura even though she was laughing at me i though she was soo cute but she probably hates me

They all keep walking to the village at a fast but steady pace

Kim kept her hands to her side, but Aria noticed that Kim's hand was missing, and held onto it once again. Aria looked over at Kim and asked softly.[/color][/size][/font]

[color=indigo][font=veranda]Cassie was silent as the rest of the team bantered back and forth. Her blue eyes seemed far away. She was walking with the rest of them, in a pair of short white jean shorts, ankle socks and tennis shoes, and a white tube top under a really loose long-sleeved mesh shirt. She had her breathing timed, and she wasn?t tired.

The blonde was actually very confused. Beth dropped back as they walked, to come talk to her. ?Cass?? The girl blinked. ?Huh? Oh! Sorry, Beth!? Beth smiled. ?Its all right. What?s wrong?? Cassie shrugged.

OOC: Guys, I am really lost. Even though we?re only supposed to post once a day, I?m still behind. Could someone catch me up?[/color][/font]

Charles was replenished finally after the great meal they had just enjoyed. He was now eager more than ever to get to the village so as to finish the task. The trees loomed over the party like giants as they marched onward to their victory. Charles was sure they were going to win this challenge seeing how far ahead they already were, but he didn't want Cassie to feel like a failure. Alan came up beside Charles with his black shades on and his shirt tied around his waist.

Alan: "Hey Charles, do you know how much longer we have to walk? I'm ready to give in now." Charles looked over at Alan with his eyebrows raised.

Charles: "Give up? You dumbass! We've only got like a mile left until we reach the village. Just keep walking and stop complaining. Sheesh." Alan shrugged his shoulders and fell back to the back of the party, slugging slowly along. "Would you hurry up and stop mopin around?"

Alan: "Ugh. I'm ready to pass out." Alan was sweating like mad. His face was soaked, and he used his shirt-sleeve to wipe off his forehead. Even his sunglasses had been soaked by his sweat, and they were now starting to slide off his face. "How can you guys stand this? I don't care anymore...if we win...ugh."

Kim pushed Alan on from behind, her hand in Aria's as they trudged on. Within a few minutes they came upon a sinkhole in the middle of the path that was much too deep to think about crossing. Aria walked to the front of the crowd and got everyone's attention.

Aria: "Alright, everyone! There's a sinkhole in the path, so we're going to have to go around through the trees and weeds to get by. Everyone stay together and follow Kim and me, alright? No slackers!" Aria took Kim's hand once again and led the team into the dense of the forest, which slowed them down by at least ten minutes.

Charles: "Give me a break..."

[color=royalblue][i]Aria reeled as though she'd been slapped, hard, and a cold cast entered her eyes. Kim instantly regretted her words when Aria let go of her hand, tightened the straps of the pack on her shoulders, spun on her heel, and marched off faster than they'd been going all day. Everyone, struggling to keep up now, noticed.[/i]

[b]Charles:[/b] Hey, what gives?! You that desperate to win?

[i]Aria, in a rare show of discipline, turned to face Charles slowly and calmly. Everyone in the party saw her trembling with an inner battle, as if she were holding back her anger or sadness.[/i]

[b]Aria:[/b] No, Charles, I'm desperate for this day to end. I would really like to get home, and I would really like to take a shower and climb into bed. I'm sorry I'm setting such a harsh pace, I'm just a little frustrated right now.

[i]With that, Aria slowed down considerably, pulling her jumper from around her wait, throwing it on, and pulling the hood down over her eyes as the rest of the group slowed behind her.

She hoped the hood hid her tears, because she damn well couldn't without her pillow. She barely noticed as they entered the village limits, so deep was her self-loathing and frustration.

She vaguely hoped that Beth and her group weren't there yet.[/color][/i]

This is to say that Team 1 are the winners, Team 2 are only about ten minutes behind so the next person from my Team to post can talk about entering the village and finding Team 1 munching on choccies...and please inlcude Beth being pissed off...she needed sugar.[/SIZE][/B]

Alan noticed that kim and aria were being very distant and that corey was still feeling sick. "i wonder if corey will be okay" "should i ask him if he's ok...."naw"
the team reaches the chocolate shop.

OOC: OOPS! My bad. I deleated the post, for no further confusion. Well, onto the post.

IC: Drake and his team had finally gotten to the village, but relized that the other team was already there. When Beth saw, she looked like she had just gotten really irritated. (Uh oh, war might happen tonight, but on the bright side, I don't have to pay for my team's pizza and just have to chip in for the other pizza party.) said Drake, not knowing what emotion he should express. He didn't want to look depressed and he didn't want to look happy, for that might give the wrong impression to Beth. Everyone around him looked depressed. "Come on you guys. Don't be so glum. It's not like it was a life or death situation." Everyone looked at Drake with the "don't kid yourself" look. Beth he could tell was seriously pissed off. (OH MAN! That anger could kill an army!) thought Drake with a worried expression. He just backed away slowly, so he wouldn't get hurt. "I guess that we better have lunch then. I'm pretty hungry."
"Yeah, me too" said Sakura
"Same here" replied Malcolm
"Alright, I guess we'll stop for lunch. Seeing as how we lost anyway." said Beth. They all sat down and munched on their lunches. Drake was having a sandwitch, his favorite as a matter of fact. He just loved, turkey, white cheese, and pickles with mayonaise on the bread. As he munched, the pickles made a small crunch and Drake had the flavors go into his mouth. (Mmmm, man, this tastes really good. I don't remember the last time I had a homemade one of these. The only thing that might go even better with this, is some French chocolate. Hey! THAT might cheer up the team. No one knows better then the French on how to make heavenly chocolate.)
"Hey, does anyone want some French chocolate? I know I do. I can go and get it for you guys if you want some." said Drake. Beth turned around and looked at him curiously. Almost a freaked out look, like if she was thinking," What the! Can he read my mind? I thought What Women Want was just a movie!"

OOC: I had to throw in the 'What Women Want' comment!

The other villa was within reach, and all the other teammates were all overjoyed. The group suddenly had a boost of energy and raced toward the door. Beth was excited too, but also worried.

"The worst thing that could happen is that the other team is in there...right?" She chuckled nervously and the team peeked their heads in as they opened the door. Beth took one glance inside, and screamed. The ones closest to her covered their ears.

"Ooowwie!!! Relax!! Sure, the other team is in there, but come on, we uh....got to know eachother a little better, right?" Sakura tried to lighten up the mood. "Hey guys. The best thing we can do know is congratulate them for giving us a good challenge." Sakura smiled through all the stress. Beth, who was now breathing heavily, agreed and decided to walk inside.

"Be careful guys, don't get enticed by the candy!" Malcolm joked around and seemed to take the loss pretty good. As the team walked in Team 1 wa sitting down and cheered when Team 2 arrived.

"Hey??!! Finally you guys are here!" Kim greeted them as they ate.

"Hello all, good challenge!" Drake went around shaking hands with everyone on the other team. Aria and Beth exchanged looks of competition, to looks of apprieciation.

"Good job. You're one hell of a leader." Beth stuck her hand out in exchange for a handshake.

"You know, you weren't bad yourself." Aria and Beth had started being more friendly now that the race was over. Sakura's stomach had grumbled and suddenly, she lost control of her legs and ran to the nearest person with chocolate. As soon as she got there, she ate the piece of chocolate out of the person's hand.

"Ohhhhhh." Sakura cried in joy, "It's soo yummy!!!"

"E-excuse me!!!" The boy shouted as his hand was covered in her spit "I believe that was mine!!" Sakura looked up to her candy victim and realized that it was Alan. He was blushing a lot but seemed angry at the same time.

"Oh!!! You're that kid i drew on??!! I hafta admit...you're cuter without them on." She flashed a smile and walked next to her team.

Aria stood up and decided to announce, "Alright!! For these few weeks i'll do as i promised!! I'll be naked for at least an hour every week!!" Everyone stood in embarrassment, and joined together in a big roar of laughter.

"Alright everyone, let's head home." Beth announced as they exited the little villa.

[color=teal][font=comicsansms]OOC: Heh, would have posted earlier... circumstances. Ok love, basic plot so far... Aria has a thing for Kim, but Kim is confused because she's never had feeling for another girl. Aria is very very sad, and Kim probably feels guilty. Charles likes Cassie, but so does Connor, even though he won't admit it to himself. Now Charles thinks Connor is a complete jackass because Connor wanted to see his reaction (haha). Hmm.... Drake has pretty much given up on Beth, but seems to like Sakura. Alan, John and Charles are kind of a circle of friends. Team 1 just won the race, aaand... what did I miss? Oh yeah, Aria promised she'd walk around naked for a while if they won. And they did. Ha ha.

Connor hid his slight embaressment at Aria's promise with a nonchalant look and a push of his glasses. He made a mental note to avoid Aria on certain occassions. Seeing a naked girl was not what he needed at the moment.

As the group started to head out again, Connor caught a glimpse at Cassie. She looked sad, and Connor should know, having an 'A' in Psychology. He wondered if this had anything to do with why she was crying last night. Well, he figured he would have to explain that morning sooner or later, so they might as well both spill it.

He walked up beside her, which was easy as she was lagging near the rear. "Hey," he said gently, which was completely out of character for him, "you alright Cassie?" She looked at him briefly, then mumbled an "I'm fine."

Connor frowned. He cautiously put a hand on her shoulder. "I hope you can hear this as coming from a friend, and not the jackass you know so well." She smiled only the slightest bit and he continued, "I don't want you to think I've been invading your privacy, but... this wouldn't have anything to do with the crying last night, would it?" He kept his voice as sympathetic as possible, which was difficult for Connor.

Cassie looked very much surprised, then a little angry. But the anger subsided and she looked straight ahead again. Connor couldn't see her face, but he hoped she wasn't mad at him.

[COLOR=DarkRed]Charles was relieved that the race was finally over. He wiped his forehead off with his arm, and then he noticed that Connor was standing beside a sad looking Cassie. Charles knew that he had to do something or Cassie would be Connor's, and no offense to Connor, but he didn't want that to happen.

Charles walked nonchalantly over towards Cassie and Connor, then he looked over to Cassie.

[B]Charles:[/B] "Umm, Cassie? Can I talk to you alone for a minute?" Cassie looked up at Charles with tears running down her soft cheeks. She nodded and looked over at Connor.

[B]Connor:[/B] "Uh, okay. Well, I guess I'll, umm, talk to you later Cassie. See ya." Connor turned and walked away with his head down. He then went over to talk to Kim. Charles kneeled down beside Cassie and looked at her in the eye. He wasn't great at speaking his feelings, but he knew he had to, and this was his chance.

[B]Charles: [/B] "Hey, Cassie. What's the matter?" Cassie looked directly into Charles's eyes.

[B]Cassie:[/B] "Oh, don't worry about it. I don't really feel like talking about it right now, maybe later okay?" Charles looked nervous, and he was beginning to sweat more rapidly.

[B]Charles:[/B] "Well, Cassie, there's something you should know. You see, ever since I first saw you, I thought you were the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. You let off this radiance I've never seen before, and I...I...I want to be with - AHEM- I want to be with you, Cassie!" Charles looked down, blushing uncontrollably. Cassie looked surprised, and shifted positions.

[B]Cassie:[/B] "Gee, I didn't know you felt that way about me, Charles. Well, I don't know what to say. Actually, to be honest, I kind of like you too..." Charles looked up at Cassie, his cheeks fiery red.[/COLOR]

IC: Cassie then finished, ?But I can?t.? Before Charles could respond, she turned and went back over to Connor, who was hanging around Kim. She reached over and tugged his shirt sleeve gently. He looked up at her, and she nodded her head in the other direction.

The two walked off away from the others, and she saw Charles watching them with angry, yet sad eyes. She looked away, and she sat down on the ground. Connor sat next to her, and she sighed. ?I guess I should tell you why I cried. I cry a lot lately, and it has nothing to do with this.? She smiled softly.

?Maybe I should start like this. Charles just said that he liked me.? Connor didn?t look surprised. ?And I guess I kind of like him too.? Connor was struggling not to look hurt or shocked. Cassie went on. ?But I can?t. He?s cool and everything, but he?s to demanding, and I can?t live like that, ya know?? She looked at him, blue eyes soft and quiet.

?My dad was always abusive.? Now she was looking away, and Connor couldn?t hide being shocked. ?And lately, he had gotten really bad.? Cassie?s face was flushing with pain. ?He started hitting me, and then touching me. I hated it, but he was so much more bigger than me, and I couldn?t get him to stop.? Tears were running down her face, and it was obvious she had told no one else this. ?And my mom wouldn?t believe me.?

She curled up, hugging her knees. Cassie saw the most recent scene playing over and over in her head. ?She wouldn?t listen. Until finally, she walked in on me drying off. She had never payed attention, but now I had huge bruises.? She choked on a sob, and pressed her face into her arms.

They were both girls, and she had already seen her naked once before. So it wasn't like it was that big of a deal. Kim started blush even more at the thought of the shower that she had taken with Beth and Aria. She didn't know why she was getting so embarrassed though. She didn't try to look at Aria in the shower. But it wasn't exactly that easy not to notice her...Kim tried to shake those thoughts out of her head. Then, getting an idea, she decided to go talk to Aria since she seemed to be in a better mood now. Kim tapped Aria on the shoulder.[/color][/size][/font]

This was deffinately not what Connor had been expecting. He tried to think of something to say with little success. As gently as he could, he put his hand around Cassie's shoulders. He felt the small burn of unshed tears behind his eyes, but didn't let them fall. "I'm sorry," He said barely above a whisper, "but... it's Ok now."

He put his other hand on her arm, unsure of what he was doing. Nearly silent sobs shook her body, and Connor felt pangs of guilt for something he hadn't committed. His red tinted eyes wandered for a moment, searching for something, anything to say to her.

Connor just held her silently, and gradually the sobs grew softer. He put a hand on her cheek, turning her to face him. "It's alright now Cassie," He said in the same gentle voice, "He can't hurt you now. Are you Ok?"

She sniffed and seemed to calm down. Connor's heart thumped in his chest.

[size=1][b]Corey-[/b] "Man..." Corey was crouched under a tree holding his stomach and trying his best not to vomit. The run had definitl hurt him in some pretty major ways. He wasn't used to such rigorous activity,and his body seemed to hate him for doing it. He ached. He was stiff. His vision blurred with every pulse of his pounding head. His muscles burned with every beat of his heart.

A sudden saltyness filled his mouh and he dropped to all fours, reliving the breakfast that seemed like it was eaten a million years ago. He stopped vomitting and wiped the cold sweat off of his arms. It felt like slime coated his body. He was shaking. His body tremored from head to toe. His eyelids seemed unusually heavy, so they closed. Corey slumped back into the grass and passed out.

[COLOR=DarkRed]OOC: Sorry, again. I been doing something else on the boards, and I been also trying to rebuild my computer. I have been updated lately by the boards on the rp, so here is my characters post.

John had returned back from the forest of the mission his team was involved in. He just entered the front of his door reliezed of the promise that Aria was going to keep her promise she made before this had all started. He got to wodering, again. Was he able to walk around the villa in the mourning with Aria walking around naked? This was going to be some very strange mournings. He walked to his bed , then sat down to think.

[I]How am I ever going to ask her out if she going to be walking around like that. I can't look at someone naked. Its going to be hard even to walk around not looking ahead of me so that I don't see her like that.[/I]

John got back up and left his room. He went outside to see someone else outside walking around. It looked like Corey. He was holding his stomach in pain. John also saw pain in his face. Next, he saw Corey vomitting on the ground. Then Corey just passed out. This worried John. He didn't want anyone to get sick here at the villia. He didn't think of anything else execpt to do one thing. He went back to the villia to yell at the top of his lungs inside.

John went back outside to go get Corey , from the tree, to put him inside so that someone could help him. He really didn't know how to help someone if they passed out, but he hoped someone did.[/COLOR]

OOC:i'm lost @_@ the last thing i remember is that my team won and then the chocolate incident but after that i dont know what is/was happening

Alan: What The Hell?!?!?! (why the helll do i always get manipulated by girls)

Alan gets up and walks outside. "why does she always bug me.....I haven't done anything bad or wrong to her" suddenly steps outside

Sakura: ummmmi came here to apologize for drawing stars on you and eating your chocolate

Sakura:well ummmmmm i'm soooo sorry *she bows*

Sakura: well i actually came out here to say that.......I kinda like you

Sakura goes back inside to where her team is. "hmmmmm" Alan goes to find a tree to climb suddenly he sees corey passed out "oh crap what do i do!!!!!!" suddenly john appears and calls for First Aid

[color=royalblue][i]Aria exited the choacolate shop as a truck skid to a halt just outside the village. A group of people picked Corey up, heading for the private place they were staying at. Aria shook her head and waited for Kim to walk out. She turned, her eyes becoming cold once more as Kim settled down in front of her.[/i]

[b]Aria:[/b] You said we needed to talk.

[i]Kim nodded and began fiddling with a napkin she'd picked up in the chocolate shop. She looked up at Aria and cleared her throat.[/i]

[b]Kim:[/b] Umm....Aria, about earlier....I...I didn't really mean everything I said, it's just...I always thought I was straight, and I didn't know how to react to the situation you were presenting to me...

[i]Aria sighed and sat down heavily in a chair outside the shop. She looked towards the setting sun and shook her head.[/i]

[b]Aria:[/b] Ano....my fault. I didn't know you were straight. I just...I guess I let my feelings get the better of me.

[i]Kim had kept her head down, deep in thought, and missed the last part of Aria's little speech. But she looked up, a bemused smile on her face.[/i]

[b]Kim:[/b] It isn't your fault, Aria. You couldn't have known.

[b]Aria:[/b] No, but I should have assumed you'd be straight before starting to fall in love.

[i]Kim dropped her napkin and her jaw, staring at Aria with wide-eyed wonder. Aria, curious about Kim's reaction, rethought about what she'd said and realized she'd said "love".

Aria hung her head. It just wasn't her day, and it was coming to a close.[/i][/color]

[COLOR=DarkRed]Charles stood silently staring at Cassie and Connor. He couldn't believe it. He was now very upset; she thought he was just some rich boy with a selfish heart, but she was wrong, so very wrong. The only selfish desire in his heart was her love. That's all that he wanted. He would give away every earthly possession of his for her. Charles was surprised to find that a tear was running down his face. He shook himself out of his miserable trance and wiped his face. He turned around and walked over to Alan. He needed to talk to someone to get Cassie off of his mind.

[B]Charles:[/B] [I]Hey Alan, what's happening? I noticed you like Sakura?[/I]

[B]Alan: [/B] [I]Yeah, man. She's cute, don't you agree?[/I]

Charles looked over at Sakura coming out of the chocolate shop. She had a bag full of chocolate in her hand and it looked like she was headed his way.

[B]Charles: [/B] [I]Yeah, I guess. Look, man, she's headed this way. Have you told her you like her yet?[/I]

[B]Alan:[/B] [I]Well, uh, kind of, man. I just don't know the right words to say. You should know, Charles, what should I say? [/I]

Charles was just about to reply when Sakura came skipping up to them. She had a big smile on her face. She handed the bag up to Alan. Charles finally saw what Alan was talking about. Sakura was gorgeous! Her rosy cheeks and big eyes made her look like an innocent angel.

[B]Alan:[/B] [I]What's this? Chocolate? Uh, thanks, Sakura! Haha, that's a lot of chocolate. How'd you get it? Isn't it expensive?[/I]

[B]Sakura:[/B] [I]Kim bought it for me. She's being really nice to everyone. I thought I should give it to you since I stole your's earlier. Sorry again about that.[/I]

Alan handed the bag back to Sakura.

After Alan had laughed, she felt a little relieved.

"Well, some of us are gonna hafta eat it anyway, the bag is huge!!! I can't eat this all myself." Sakura laughed nervously.

"Hmmmm. Alright then. I'll letcha know when i want a piece." Alan winked at her, then brushed some hair from her eyes. Sakura blushed extremely. After a moment of silence she turned her direction to Charles. As she saw him, she instantly thought he was handsome, but reminded herself not to get too enticed over his looks.

"Oh! Hi Hi! I don't believe we had a chance to talk since i came late. My name is Sakura!" She gave him one of her warm welcoming smiles.

"Oh, Hello. I'm Charles. Nice to meet you." He had a gentle glow as he smiled.

"Nice to meet you!" Before the three could start a conversation, Beth rallied everyone up to start leaving for home. As they went home, Sakura thought of all the people she met so far and thought that it wasn't so bad here.

OOC: Well, there are a few things that confuse me. One, is why my computer is running VERY slow, another is what the heck it going on!? I have no clue, but I'll improvise, I'm good at that.

IC: Drake had just started to go to the chocolate shop, since it seemed that no one, would reply to his offer. While heading there, he saw that Kim and Aria were talking. He didn't want to evesdrop, nor interupt, so he just kept walking. Drake was relizing, that he was giving up too easy. He couldn't give up just yet on Kim, although he just might on Beth. It was pretty obvious that Malcolm had flattered her. It might be a long five weeks if he had to room with Malcolm. Oh well, he was still gonna try for Kim. As he went in the chocolate shop, he got his euros ready. It was a good thing that he knew the currency for France. He went up to the keeper and started the conversation.
"Excuse et moi, Misuer?"
"Ah, Que'st qu'ill tu faut?"
"Il maut faut, doux chocolate et une blanc chocolate."
"Oui, oui, cinq euro quarante"
"Merci, monsuier!" said Drake as he payed, took his chocolate and left. It was a good thing that he knew French or else he might have been SOL. He walked out with his chocolate and found that Kim and Aria were done talking. This would be perfect to try and get to know Kim better. "Oh, bonjeur Kim!"
"Hmmm?"
"Comment ca va?"
"Um, Drake, I don't speak French"
"OH! Sorry about that. I just kind of like to speak French. Is it alright if I sit down with you?"
"Sure, I guess" replied Kim. Drake pulled up a chair and sat down. As he did, he noticed that Aria gave him the most dirty of looks. It sent a chill down his spine. She was angry for some reason and it seemed like she was angry at him. He grabbed a piece of his white chocolate and broke some off.
"Want some Kim?"
"Sure, I don't remember what white chocolate tastes like though."
"Aria?"
"No, I'm fine" she replied.
"So Kim, what you think of the trip so far?"
"It isn't going to well I must say."
"Why is that?"
"It is a personal matter."
"Ah, one of those again. OK. I won't ask anymore. I know my boundaries and respect your privacy."
"Thank you for understanding, Drake."
"No, problem" he replied. Drake decided to finish his chocolate and leave. "I'm going to leave you ladies. I think I might talk to the locals, for fun. Remember Kim, if you ever need someone to talk to or someone to open up too, I'm always ready. I help anyone, for those who seek my help. So, if you need me, just come looking for me." and with that Drake left. He hoped that he didn't some one too strong. Well, he decided to walk through the town and speak with the locals. He had always wanted to see the rivers that flowed through the towns of France. He went out and saw them, with their boats going through. It was truely a beautiful site. It reminded Drake one of the reasons he came here. He wished to know more about French culture. He wished to visit an art museum, see the Eifel Tower, look at the Mona Lisa. But, he wasn't in Paris, so he couldn't really do those. He started to look at his reflection in the river, hoping that Kim's would soon join him.
