Boba Fett
Originally posted by Wormmon's Tamer Yoda's fight scene in the book was NOT detailed enough. I'm a picky person, though. It was detailed in other parts though, such as ...... "He clutched the stump of his severed arm in agony...."(something like that) When Anakin got his arm sliced off, which, I think, He deserved.
The fight seen is detailed. If you want I can type an exerpt from the book about the fight so you and others can decide for your selves. I thought the book was great, but had a number of questions and opinions about the movie that I would like to share...... Opinions- I think they over emphasized anikans emotions in the movie. They showed too many sceneswith Anikan being emotional, that bored me. I also think that Yoda's fight scene was too short. Why couldnt he have bounced off the walls a little longer? Question- According to the expanded universe, an Imperial scientist named Bevel Lemisk designed the Death Star while on a reserch facility hidden in a cluster of black holes, known as the Maw. In the movie however the Genocian leader gives the plans t Dooku, is this another case of the expanded universe being wrong, or am I missing something?? Boba Fett
None of those films were even remotely good, execpt for the "stormtrooper" one you metioned and mabye the rap one. The highlight for me was the Star Wars commericals. Did you manage to catch the web adress where it showed all the finalists, I would like to see if there were any better films. I'm still pissed that they messed up the whole Owen/Obi-Wan/Anakin relationship. Owen Lars is supposed to be Obi-Wan's brother, and the uncle thing is supposed to be a big cover up while Luke is growing up. They decided to make it literal V_V Beh to that...:grumble: As for Bevel Lemlisk...it will be interesting to see what happens there. Qui Xux was a part of the construction too, she was decieved by the Empire and told that the Death Star would "aid in agriculture" or something of that sort. How very, very wrong that was... One last comment: There IS actually a book that takes place between Episodes IV and V called Splinter of the Mind's Eye. It has some interesting interaction between Luke and Leia...and that's basically all it is. It's a bad book, really. 9mm Avenger
What..We talking aboot merchindising now? I have every spaceship from episodes 4-6. X-Wings, Slave 1, Mellenium Flacon...I never much cared for anything else. I have all the Rogue Squadron games...PC, gamecube, and N64. Ah...Good 'ol Baron Fel. He is a good pilot, possibly almost as good as Wedge..(sorry. I re-read my X-Wing books) I just went to see Epidsode 2. Would have seen it erlier...but meh. Jango Fett died so stupidly. If Mace Windu is comin at ya with a lightsaber, you get the hell out of the way! Yoda..man, that was cool. he casts down his cane, takes up his saber, jumps around like the tazmanian devil, and kicks Dooku's ***! Then he picks up hios cane again and hobbles around..lol.
Guest Matt
Well, it's Jango's own fault for not running away from a MASTER Jedi. Mace Windu is the second best besides Yoda. I am surprised that Mace didn't deflect a blast back at Jango. That would have been funny. Had his head taken off by his own blast. lol. I also own every starship for episodes 4-6 and every SW game for every system except PS1, 2 and X-Box. Force Commander sucks azz. Never buy it.

NorykoAngelcry
Not to try and criticize anyone, but if you actually watched the Jango Fett vs. Mace Windu scene, Jango was run over, and couldn't fly off. His jetpack was damaged during the stampede, so it was basically fight or just die. He tried to fight, but was obviously outgunned and outmatched. A lightsaber vs. a single blaster pistol? Not too hard to see who would win there. Somewhat sad that Jango had to die though, for the simple fact that he was one of the VERY liked bad guys. Darth Mual is the topic of many conversations for me and my friends. They all hated the fact that he was killed, but honestly, he was just a mercenary in my opinion, not really any sort of diplomat. Who better to try and join together all those different guilds/federations then an ex-master Jedi? I thought that Count Dooku was a very good choice to have in there for that role. As for the games you have Son Goten - do you have the Stratego game? I didn't see you mention that, or the Trivial Persuit, but I am guessing you must have those too, right? As for me, I really prefer the Lego sets. I really don't have any of the 'big' sets, due to the fact that I never have the money for that, but I have almost every single set out there. I still need the full size Yoda, the Tantive IV, the Millinium Falcon, the Republic Gunship, the three-piece Pod Racer set, and the two exclusive high-detailed ships (X-Wing and the Tie Interceptor). Once I get those as well, I will be extremely happy ^_^ Oh, and I don't have any of the lego technic sets of all the figures. Those I REALLY want ^_^ but then again, I don't have ANYWHERE to store those =P As for the figures, I need to get just about ALL of them for the second movie, and sadly, I am missing like 2 - 4 from the first Episode. . . *sigh* . . Other then that, I have a ton of props from working at Target, that was pretty sweet =) Oh well, shutting up now, since I know NO ONE but me cares. . hoho~

Am I right or just confused.
You're confused because I explained it poorly :p Let me get into further explanation: Owen Lars is most well known for his brief appearance in A New Hope as Luke's "uncle". Him and his wife, Beru Lars, both get charred by stormtroopers who track the missing droids to the Lars plantation. If you delve into the Expanded Universe of Star Wars, then you will find that older literature confirms Owen Lars to be Obi-Wan's brother. It is a common fact that the two are brothers...or should I say it was a common fact? The entire thing about Owen being Luke's uncle was supposed to be a cover-up to protect Luke from ever knowing about his ?and his father's? rather dark past. Obi-Wan supposedly took Leia to Alderaan to live with Bail Organa as an adopted child, and Luke to Tatooine to live with Obi-Wan's brother...Owen. All of that was done in an attempt to protect the two children who were extremely strong in the Force from their father, a very powerful dark lord, and from being found and turned to the Dark Side. In Episode II, they turned the whole thing around and made it so that Owen Lars really IS Anakin's brother...or half-brother...therefore disregarding everything that the EU has ever said about Owen Lars. Kudos to that...  Ahem...excuse my belligerence toward the whole situation.

I have all the lego sets u mentioned, and all the games. :D I love having a high paying job. :D Now, what you said about your friends complaining that Darth Maul was killed, he wasn't even a main character. He had less than 5 lines. The batle droids had more lines than he did! He was just there to kill Qui-Gon. Did anyone notice Qui-Gon's voice in the movie? Right when Anakin goes and kills the tusken raiders, it goes to Yoda and your hear Qui-Gon yell from beyond the grave, "Anakin, Anakin! NOO!" Just wondering if any of you people noticed that. I thought it was very funny when Yoda and Count Dooku first meet in the hanger. Yoda just looks at him and says "Count Dooku" like your mom would say to you if you had just done something naughty when you were young. I was just expecting him to say "Count Dooku, you have been a bad boy." lol.

He never said he'll follow the EU's stories, or whatever came out of there. Basically, you can throw out the EU for now, up until Episode III anyway, since GL may or may not follow it. It would seem he has his own story to make, which means fans would have to speculate much on how things will go on Episode III. One thing interesting is who made the plans for the Death Star: it was only in the Separatists' hands; it does not necessarily mean someone there made them. Anyway, the point is now you will have to throw out the notion about Owen to be Obi-Wan's brother--well, unless that comes up in Episode III.
