Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you order those RPGing sourcebooks online?

Perhaps you could search for the company that makes the RPGing books (the name escapes me at the moment...) with your internet browser.

If you can't find them online Barnes and Noble has them on occasion

I want the NJO Sourcebook as well. Yet I can't find the time to buy it, least not until after tomorrow. Destiny's Way comes out tomorrow!!! Yippee!! I can't wait, though I already know most ofthe book, I'd still like to read it, for the small details. Ohhhh.......the death of one person, I can't wait....I think....so far I don't like the guy, but it may change. Buwahaha. Can't wait. Going to buy it tomorrow and probably finish it by Wednesday morning, I'll stay up all night and read. CAN'T WAIT! Bwuahaha.

You going to buy it?

Destiny's Way is a very good book. I am currently reading it and so far have found it extremely interesting.

*Red light flashes* SPOILER ALERT

I hate the fact that Anakin died in the book. He wasn't a very important character to me, but I was still disturbed by his death. I hope they don't decide to kill off anyone else; Anakin and Chewie are more than enough for me...

Trivia Time!

#1 What was the name of the "diner" where Obi-Wan and his informant Dexter meet in Episode II?

#2 What company makes the blaster rifles used by the Imperial stormtroopers (standard issue blaster rifles)?

#3 How many years after Return of the Jedi did the Emperor's last clone die?

Wormmon's Tamer-

#1 is correct

#2 is not correct; the last clone of Emperor Palpitine died 11 years after the battle of Yavin 4, or 7 years after the battle of Endor.

Someone please answer the last one...

I am not planning to see the IMAX version, but you never know.

One last thought. Is anyone else here interested in writing trivia questions? If so please post them. I hate being the only one to post trivia.

Thank you very much BabyGirl. By the way, I havent seen you around the boards much... :(

SSJGoten- I know than Anikan didnt physically die in Destiny's Way, but almost all the greiving, memorial services, etc happened in Destiny's Way. Its also the last book where he is given referece to other than being remembered. So his death has more importance in that book. So I tend to think of it as the book in which he died...

Just curious...but how do you know that he is last mentioned in Destinys Way? I mean, he could be mentioned in Force Heretic Trilogy, or Greg Keyes un-named paperback(for fear that title will give away spoilers), and he could be referenced to in The Unifying Force. So, just curious where did you get that?

SSJGoten- I never said he was last mentioned inn Destiny's Way, I said that it was the last time he would be mentioned other than being remembered.

He could be mentioned in prequel novels, but not chronologically after Destiny's Way

"He could be mentioned in prequel novels, but not chronologically after Destiny's Way"

Why on earth would he be mentioned in the prequel novels? I'll tell you why...

Since I was talking about Destiny's Way, when I said prequel novel, I meant anything written chronologically before Destiny's Way. It is conceivable that someone could write something that takes place between any of the existing books before Destiny's Way...

But that isnt know as the prequel novels. Prequel novels refer to before the Original Trilogy came. That is what the prequel novels are. Books after ROTJ and before Destinys Way is still considered post-ROTJ(not prequel novels).

Now that I read my last post again, I see what you mean. I know that anything that takes place around or before Episodes I-III is considered prequel, it didn't occur to me it would cause confusion as to what I meant. Sorry about that...

Anyway, I was wondering what you think about Star by Star. I am reading it now (I hadn't been able to find it before now) and think it is one of the best written and interesting books in the NJO series. What do you think?

Don't worry, I hadn't read up to most of the parts you mentioned, but I have read most of the books after it, so I wasn't surprised by what you said.

I though Anakin was neat, but not the most interesting character. I found his arguments with Jacen regarding the force very interesting, although I like Kyp Durron's point of view best.

Do you know of any worthwhile Star Wars websites? I have been looking around but have only found
www.starwars.com and www.theforce.net to be of interest.

Like Yoda you speak. Talented you must be...

Has anyone here heard about the new Star Wars lego set that has just been released? It has three thousand peices, and is a to scale model of a star destroyer! I would buy it, but I would have insane urges to tear it apart, just like all the other lego sets I have owned...:therock:

Star Wars things in general are expensive. The books are usually a full dollar more than another book of the same size (At least in all the local stores around my area).

The action figures are expensive, as are the cards, role playing games and micro machines (If you can find them :flaming: ).

One of the few Star Wars items I can think of that are reasonably priced are the comic books. They are $2.69 here. :)

Star Wars is why I am constantly broke. :D

Good to get that out of my system...
