12:14, Full moon cycle

A youthful girl, late in her nineteenth year, perhaps, walked slowly down the sidewalk. A pale figure hid in the shadows, waiting for her. Just at the exact moment that he decided would produce the effect he wanted, he stepped out of the shadows nonchalantly. Mystery, fear, and curiosity, all, were the emotions he was looking for in the girl, and he was rewarded by the expression on her face that told him he had achieved that precise feeling of presence.
His black suit seemed to shimmer slightly in the glorious moonlight as he approached her. She recoiled for a moment at this mysterious figure, seemingly no later on in years than his early-twenties, this charismatic face, pale in the moonlight. Yet she was inexorably drawn to him, as if by an unseen force of human emotion. He grinned lightly as he approached her, his gaze piercing her like the burning rays of a million suns.
"Do not be alarmed," he said in a deep, echoing voice that seemed like the voice of a golden angel. "I do not wish to harm you."
He held out his hand, lifting the girl's head up to look into her green eyes. She looked up into the eyes of a dreamed man and blushed, overtaken by emotions. The man laughed lightly, exposing his teeth, and the girl lept out of his hands. She pointed an accusing finger at him.
"You...you're a vampire!" she squealed, horrified. He merely gazed at her and nodded sorrowfully. The girl was off at a moment's notice, dashing blindly through the night to escape the creature that had come so very close to making her his. As she looked back, she saw him, just standing there, waiting...waiting for something...
He looked down sternly, furious with himself. Humans are quite irrational around the likes of me, he thought. He stepped back, melting into the shadows. With the aid of some black magic, he moved by way of shadows, becoming a mere shadow, covering ground faster than the most agile mare. In mere seconds, he had caught up with her.
The girl looked back again, only to find that the creature was no longer there on the sidewalk. She breathed a sigh of relief. Then, a faint, ghostly wind over took her, and she ran straight into the monster, who had magically appeared in front of her. She was knocked onto her back from the impact of hitting him.
"I meant it, you know...what I said about not wishing to harm you...But instead you ran. Now, I'm afraid I shall have to relieve you of your mortality." He came down of her gently, yet firmly, and held her head back. "I promise you, I shall make this as painless as possible." And his fangs slowly penetrated her warm flesh. There was no pain, as she would have expected, but it felt more like...more like a fading feeling. Over the course of a few minutes during which she was restrained there, she simply felt as though she was slipping away, slipping...into the afterlife.
At last, he was finished. He rose slowly, wiping his mouth with a handkerchief from his left pocket. He looked down regretfully at the girl, drained now of her essence. Pity, he thought to himself. She would've made the loveliest little vampire...
A bright, impossibly white feather blew by. Curious, he reached for it. He grasped the feather lightly in his slender hands. The feather smouldered, the fluffy edges blackening. He cursed loudly as he cast away the feather. He glared down at his hand, where was now imprinted, in his lightly burned skin, the image of a feather.
"That was no mere feather..." he whispered, awstruck, "That was a feather shed from an angel...could it be?"

The same night, 4:27

"So it's true then," Count Viktor Silvermoon muttered to nobody in particular, sitting down on his overlarge bed, examining the feather imprint on his palm. "The Angels have returned...I shall have to inform the others immediately. The bloodline will combat this new threat!"

Well, it's finally started! Post away, and just a reminder here that this story takes place in the year 2005, so try to take a more modern approach to things (unless your character has been around a while...you know who you are)

Aravor has been waiting all her life to free man from the vampires clutches. Today Aravor is signing up for the angel brigade. Her duty will be to protect the village of Teronova until the next morning.

?Name please.? ?Aravor!? ?Age?? ?Now let me just calculate this. Uhh?725.? ?Alright you qualify.? The voice of the recruitment officer faded off. *Well that went easier than expected* Aravor consulted to herself. *Now all I need to do is see my commanding officer and then see my mission.*

?Welcome to brigade #197. I?m general Rasolf. I?ve been in command since the age of 800 so you will respect me as your officer. Now to lay down the basics, we must protect the city of Teronova until exactly 9:00 a.m.?

An angel stood up in the top row. ?Sir may I ask what are the precautions we have to take.? He said quite decisively. ?I see you are one of the veteran war angels. Well there are the precautions of the humans not aloud to see you. The next will be that you aren?t aloud to fight with a vampire in the open. You must lure them into a building.? ?Any other questions before I move on. Thank you. Now as I was saying we will stay until 9:00 a.m. There will be five teams. Alpha team you will take the north side of Teronova. Next Gamma team will protect the west side of Teronova. Next Beta team will cover the south. Cape team will protect the east side of the town. Finally Angel Strike will protect the center in case things get out of hand. The teams will consist of the follows:
Gammas will be-Nancy, George, Yani, Curutso, Alen, and Firor.
Alphas will be-Steven, Nelson, Cherry, Jill, and Sarion
Betas will be-Kevin, Nartu, Van, Carl, Chingon, and Alex
Capes team will be-Aratsu, Karry, Kell, and Kutle
Finally Angel Strikes team will be-Anna, Shinla, Cuntan, Aravor, and Samuel
We will begin as soon as possible so let?s take positions down there now.? ?Sir may I ask why we are guarding this town.? A young angel said in the back. ?Because soldier. That is where they will strike next. It is a key city. If they win that city they will win the western hemisphere. That is the shortest way out of hell. Underneath that city is the biggest hole to hell we have found.? ?Right sir!?

Teronova: 7:00 p.m.

*Well now that we are in position I have a chance to know some of my comrades.* Aravor said to herself. ?Uhh?hello.? ?Hello? replied a voice.? ?May I ask you your name?

?The name is Anna.? ?Oh Anna. Well what is the reason you came here.? ?Oh that. They killed my lover when he was an angel with me.? ?I think fighting for revenge is wrong.? ?Oh really. Isn?t that what you came here for??

?No, actually I came here to stop vampires from killing humans as they did me.? ?What!? How did they kill you without you becoming one?? ?Well he ripped my heart out. He thought that I was the wrong blood type.? ?Really. Well get comfy in this tiny building cause this is where we are going to be for a long while.?

?Alright.? Shinla called ?Hey I?ll get groceries for us now.? ?Alright hurry back!? Anna said. *Well at least I know one person now.* Aravor said to herself in seldom. Now she waits for the dawns approach and the vicious night is beginning to settle upon them.

OOC: How was that for the first one.

Isis said that this was the place, her thoughts ran through her head as she stepped off the airplane in silence. Softly walking through security and gathering her one leather pack she looks around. People hit and push her form all sides and she panicks, one rams her into a pillar and she looks at her scraped arm sadly. Some one looms over her and she looks up, a young man holds out his hand, helping her up. "Not use to airpors, are you." he smiles at her, she shakes her head, "It was my first time to fly."she says, silently she adds in an airplane. The boy nodds, his dark brown hair covering his eyes for a second before sliding back out of his dark blue eyes. "Names Clayton," he offers a hand and she shakes it repling, "Griffin." Eyes widening he looks at her, "Seriously?" he asks, "Well, isn't that a stroke of luck? I'm supposed to meet you here. Your sponsers weren't able to make it." he explains walking to the front of the airport with Griff in tow. Bast, save me she thinks.

Griff sits in the park, looking at the dark sky, the clouds slowly drift across the onix sky. She sighes, "May the goddess be blessedly gentle in the days to come." she says silently. Standing she brushes leaves out of her hair and turns to leave, something pulls on her. She follows the pull along the strets, she stops at an ally and looks, seeing no one she frowns and continues, keeping to the side under the rusted fire escapes. The pull becomes stronger as she comes out of the ally, she sees a body laing on the sidewalk and rushes to it. "Oh, you poor thing." brushing her blond hair back she touches the girl's forehead. A bright blue-green hand grabs her arm and she looks at it dumbly, getting up she watches as the spirit follows, creating a replica of the girl.Griff feels the weight of her wings on her back and smiles faintly. "Oh." she says startled, "Come with me, but keep out of sight." she orders the spirit who nodds. "Isis, have merci." Griff mutters. "Griff!" Griff turns hearing her name and the thudding footsteps coming from the ally. "Clayton? What are you doing here?" she says fidgiting. Did he see me? she wonders, and is awnsered. "What is that? What did you do?" He looks at the wings she had forgoten in wonder as she rubs her arm, "What are you?" Griff looks up at him and smiles cautiously, "She is a spirit, freed her, and I am an angel." she winces as he looks down at her accusingly as the wings dissappear. "We need to get her out of sight," she looks back at him squarely, "You must promise not to tell any one." Clayton nodds solemly. She had hidden from him for months, now she could worry about other things.

Griff sits in a sunlit desk at the school, twirling a pencil, thinking about the event of last night. Wondering if Clayton would keep his promise she feels someone staring at her, looking around she sees the new student looking at her. She smiles and recives a smile in return. Turning back to her sketch she frowns at the picture, It was of Clayton in the ethreal light shed by the spirit. Flipping the page she starts another sticking to birds. By midday she was frusterated, her thoughts kept going back, waht could have killed her like that? she rembers the marks on the neck and shivers, hoping that a leech wasn't the reason she was here. She knew other angels were supposed to be here but she had never seen them, yet.

Amaris put her fingers to the recently fresh, but still flowing blood that was dripping out of the blond girl's neck. Apparently, this girl had a meeting with one of Amaris' masters and she had rejected his gift of immortality, if he had even offered it to her at all. Oh, how she wished one of her masters would offer her that gift, for her loyalty to them, even when she was just a small child. Amaris sighed. She knew it would probably never happen though. Only one of her family members had been given that gift, but that was a long time ago, and it was one of the men of the Ward family who had received it. But Amaris knew that she at least had a small chance now, since the men of the family had betrayed their old masters. Amaris looked up from the dead girl. She had a feeling that something was coming, so she hid. What she saw next, amazed her. It was an angel, and it pulled the girl's spirit from her body. Amaris then ran home. Tonight, she had to prepare for her first day at school tomorrow. But later, she would have to tell one of her masters what she had seen...

Warm salty liquid rushed into Irisa's mouth, sending her eyes to roll back into her head. She could hear the faint sound of distant screaming, but knew that it was only the girl under her. The girl flung her arms about fiercly in an attempt to free herself from Irisa. The vampire smiled to herself in such delight.

Irisa felt the steady follow of warm red blood slowly dicipating. She shot her eyes open and pulled on the girl's neck with her teeth, sucking forcefully. Small amounts of blood rushed into her mouth, but the girl was nearly dry. Irisa slid her teeth from the girl's flesh in an almost erotic manner, holding the girl up by her torso.

"You are not worthy of becoming such as I." Irisa smiled at the limb girl. She gave a slight chuckle and dropped the girl to the alley ground. "You pathetic soul. I know they'll free you, but you do not deserve such mercey." Irisa twirled around and vanished into the night of the alley.

****

"Ah, Lady Irisa has made a kill I see." A younger vampire began to approach her in an attempt to seduce her.

"What do you would you like Ryan?" Irisa's sweet voice swipt over him gently leaving a slight ring of bitterness in his ears.

"To taste your sweet lips before you wash them clean of the fresh blood." He was now in front of her, a dark smile upon his voice.

Behind him lay the mansion that she spent so many of her days in. She had her own seperate section and was given free roam of the house and the city. It helped much that she was far older than most of the vampires residening there any how.

Irisa looked past the boy for a moment at the dark purple and blue building, the elegant architecher, and elebrate lawn. It reminded much of her home of old, before her parents were taken from her. She sometimes wondered what had happened to her dear brother.

Irisa's attention was brought back to the boy when he leaned in to steal a kiss from her. She grabbed the boy by the throat and lifted him off his feet.

"You ever attempt to touch me without my premission again, Ryan, and I shall run you through with a stake. You understand?" Irisa hissed at him, her long upper fangs sliding across her lower lip as she spoke.

"Yes my lady," he struggled to say.

Irisa threw the boy behind her and walked slowly up to the front steps of the mansion. The sweet grey steps were large, and sterdy enough to allow an adult elephant to parade up them. The steps lead to large balacony style porch and then the double front doors. The deep purple trim and dark blue of the house mad it hard to tell with human eyes that the house was not various shades of black. Irisa smoothed her hair back and walked up to the double doors to be greeted by one of the human worshipers. He opened one of the doors for her and extended his hand inside.

"Good evening Lady Irisa." The man spoke sweetly. "I see that you have made a kill?"

"Yes, do give me a cloth to whip myself clean before I go to our lord, Viktor."

"Anything for my sweet Lady." The man replied handing Irisa his clean cloth from his back pocket.

She took it gingerly and began to whip at her mouth as she entered the mansion. She enjoyed greatly how Viktor made the house servents wear traditional grab. It left Irisa feeling more at home that way. After cleaning herself, Irisa turned to the human and thanked him, handing his cloth back to him.

"Thank you Lady Irisa, I shall hold this cloth most precious." He smiled broadly at her as she left his sight.

The mansion was unusually quiet, but that was to be expected on an evening such as this. Humans loved to venture out on warm nights and tended to get themselves rather drunk. Irisa didn't like to feed on the helpless. She preferred those that had commited such sins against the heart or other humans. Murders had rip blood because of the constint flow of adrennaline.

"Where is Lord Viktor?" Irisa asked one of the human servents.

"He is in his chamber, my lady."

"Thank you."

Irisa gently made her way up the large flight of stairs in the front entrance. The stair case broke into two directions, left and right. Irisa took the left stair case and walked down the long carpted floor to the very end. Their laid a large wooden door with ivory handles and two human servents on either side. At the sight of Irisa, one of the servents entered the room to tell Viktor of her arrival. Upon exiting he opened the door widely for her.

"He has been expecting you Lady Irisa." The servent holding the door told her, lowering his head.

"Thank you," she nodded towards him as she enterd. "Viktor?" Irisa asked as the door behind her closed.

"Here on the bed, Irisa." She heard his masculine voice through the room.

She made her way carefully through the room to take her place in front of him on his lovely bed. She leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek. His sweet scent filled her nostrils and made her mouth water lightly, but not for blood.

"Are the rumors true my Lord? Have the angels returned?" Irisa asked as she stood back up to take in Viktor's sight.

Hawk spread his wings wide and soared down from the top of the building he was perched on. He landed gracefully, drawing his sword with a grace unsurpassed by many.
"Flame on," he said quietly, in a voice as smooth as silk. His sword burst into flame as he approached the vampires feeding on a young man up ahead. He was screaming as their fangs pierced the skin and they began to drink deeply. Hawk ran towards them quickly and quietly, and decapitated the first before they even knew he was there. It crumbled to dust, and he had run the second vampire through soon after that. He sliced upwards and almost cut the vampire in half. It dusted same as the first. He placed his hand on the man's neck and replaced the lost blood.
"Thank you so much!" the man said, before running off in the other direction.
"You're welcome," replied Hawk, before spreading his wings again and flying back up to perch on the building like some living gargoyle.

11:18, Mid Day cycle, Viktor's room

"Are the rumors true my Lord? Have the angels returned?" Irisa asked. Viktor smiled grimly, holding his palm up to see again the burn.
"Indeed." Viktor said simply, smirking ironically. "I know this for a fact, because I've been marked by a feather, it would appear..." He showed Irisa his palm, the one that had an imprint of a feather burned onto it. Irisa gasped.
"But...but, Viktor...how...?"
"You forget, Irisa, I am much, much older than I appear. My resistance to the angels' touch has only ripened with my age. Of course, some disinfectant didn't hurt to stop the burn from infecting..." Viktor laughed, one-hundred-percent sincere on the disinfectant part; humans, however and comparably weak they were, were quite ahead in medical sciences, and Viktor occasionally purchased certain products, just to test their usefulness. Thankfully, the disinfectant had proved quite effective against the burn.
"And now, to business," he stated, resting his head in his hands, leaning forward in a businesslike manner. "I've called for a meeting here, in the grand hall, to discuss this angel matter. Half an hour. Everyone will be there."
"Everyone?" Irisa asked curiously.
"Everyone." Viktor nodded. After a moment, he looked up at Irisa, and added, "And that includes Daktor."
"Daktor?!" Irisa gasped, "You summoned Daktor? Here?! Good lord, Viktor! How do I look?" Irisa knew, just as well as any vampire should, that even though Viktor was one of the most powerful vampires in the world, Daktor was the single most powerful (and, for that matter, most well-respected) vampire in all the world, and always expected everything to be perfect. Everything.
Viktor waved her off. "Don't worry yourself so much, Irisa. You look spectacular, as always. I'm sure today's meeting wil go just fine. Now if you'll be so kind as to excuse me, milady, I really must be getting ready myself."
Irisa bowed, and headed towards the door. "Of course, Viktor." with that, she closed the large door, leaving Viktor once again on his own in the room.

11:50, Mid Day cycle, Grand Hall

"You did WHAT?!" Daktor shouted, merely three feet away from Viktor.
"If I may speak, Daktor, she ran from me. The code says that any human who sees us must-"
"The code says that we are not to attack humans in the open under any circumstance!" Daktor exploded, cutting Viktor off. He walked lightly towards the elegant round coffee table standing in the center of the ring of overlarge, oversoft chairs in which the counsil was taking place, and lightly swept up a small pile of papers off of it. As Daktor walked back up to Viktor, he announced, "This is a human newspaper, printed and published this very morning." When he finally reached Viktor, he held it up in front of him.
Viktor's eyes darted back and forth across the paper, widening as he read the article. He gulped, a sound just barely audible to the audience, but audible nonetheless. Daktor growled dangerously. "Read the headline!" he urged.
Viktor nodded weakly, and cleared his throat. "Young girl found...dead on sidewalk, cause...unknown..." he trailed off. Daktor sneered.
"Once again, Viktor, your affection for humans has gotten you into nothing but trouble." Irisa bolted up from her seat, but Viktor motioned her to sit down. The counsil turned to each other, muttering in whispers what they thought of the matter.
"Silence!" Viktor shouted, "This is not what I called this meeting for!" The buzz of whispers in the hall ceased immediately. Daktor raised an eyebrow, questioningly.
"Why, then, have you brought us all here?" he asked calmly. In response, Viktor held up his scarred hand.
"This is why, Daktor. Do you know what this is?" he asked with a smirk. Daktor's eyes widened.
"An...an angel feather? You were hit by an angel feather?"
"Yes, Daktor, and do you know what that means?" Viktor asked, waiting a moment to pick up dramatic effect, "That means the angels are back!" The counsil was buzzing with noise again, not bothering to whisper this time. Daktor looked pitiously around for some excuse.
"Surely, you must be joking, Viktor. Aside from this scar, which could easily be artificial, where is your proof?"
At that moment, the door flew open, and a young girl Viktor immediately recognized dashed up to him. Daktor looked down at her distastefully. "Another 'pet' of yours, Viktor?" he asked, raising an eyebrow again.
"This, Daktor, is a young human by the name of Amaris Ward. She is my most faithful servant, of her free will. I would trust her with my life," Viktor replied, looking down at Amaris affectionately. "So, Amaris? What news do you have that you must interrupt a counsil for? I'm rather busy at the moment..." Amaris got up on her toes and whispered something in his ear. His eyes widened, the grin on his face spreading slightly. "Well, Amaris, why don't you tell the counsil what has happened? Daktor, here is your proof."
Amaris cleared her throat, and began to speak. "This morning, I was at the site of the girl's death. I heard something coming, so I hid. Shortly, a winged person came along...an angel, I guess, and pulled the girl's soul from her body. I thought...I thought maybe master Viktor would want to hear about this, so I came as quickly as I could." Viktor and Daktor both stared down at the seventeen year old girl, Daktor with a glaring hate, and Viktor with a cascade of affection. Then, Viktor turned to Daktor.
"Is that enough for you, Daktor? As I've already mentioned, I would trust this young girl here with my life. I suggest we all do the same." Viktor turned slowly, taking in the ring of chairs, all of the members of the counsil. "It is obvious, then, that the angels have returned to destroy our noble culture. This is why I've summoned you all here. You all are here to decide: What are we going to do about them?"
Viktor turned and knelt down next to Amaris, and whispered in her ear. "I know what it is that you want, Amaris..." her eyes widened as she heard him speak. "...and if you keep up your loyalty like this, I'll see to it myself that you get it."
"You mean...?" Amaris gasped.
"Yes, Amaris. Keep up the good work, and I myself will make you...an immortal." And with that, Viktor stood back up, waiting for some kind of response from the counsil.

Amaris was so mesmerized by what Viktor had said to her, that she did not even hear the council's decision. Then, Daktor's fist coming down on the table broke her out of it.
"I am speaking to you, human!" He snarled.
Amaris jumped. Daktor was a vampire to fear even more than the others. He had no love for humans, no matter how they helped him. He only saw them as one thing, and one thing only. Food.
"Y-Yes, my master? What do you desire?" Amaris asked, trying to find her voice.
"Do you understand your mission?" He asked her.
She shook her head, and Daktor let everyone see that he was not pleased. Viktor managed to calm Daktor down, and he then explained the mission to Amaris, again.
"We need to know if this is really an invasion, or if it is just some lone angel exploring this world. Since the angels cannot hurt you, it is your mission to find this out for us. Most likely, the angel will be disguised as a human teenager. So go to school, and try to make friends with any suspicious people. Once you have found the angel, gain its trust so we can find out what we want to know. Do you understand?"
Amaris nodded her head. She was eager to earn her "immortality". As she was leaving the room, she heard Daktor ask Viktor how he can trust humans so easily.

Day after Vampire Meeting

Griff learned the new girl's name during art, Amaris was part of an old family. She watched her silebtly from across the room, something didn't feel right about this girl. THe teacher stands behind her wtching, "Griff, you seem to be improving." he stops her, looking while she says, "I'm being tutored." THe teacher moves on and walks by with her paint trays. "Are all the teachers that way?" she asks. Suprised Griff looks at her and nodds, "He means good though..." a whispering voice interupts her, " Griff. You made a friend?" Clayton looks at Amaris and smiles, "Just waite you'll see she sees good in every one." Grif mock glares at him through a smile, "This is Clayton." she sees the look on Amaris's face and her smile brodens, "No, he's not the strangest person you'll meet but he'll be one of the truest." she shoves his head out the window and closes it. He appears in another one, "Hey, Griff, bring your friend..." he looks at Amaris questionally. "Amaris" she supplies. "Amaris, we'll meet at the dock. There's a great..." his words are cut off when Griff shoves his head through the window again and closes it, turning her back on Clayton's degected but humours face she looks at Amaris, "You want to come with?" she asks quickly when the teacher looks at them. "Last class." looking back at Clayton she sighes as he shrugs in his leather jacket motioning to the street. Amaris nodds and Griff rolls her eyes. "You'll get used to it here." As Amaris walks back to the other side of the room Griff shivers at the feeling of something evil following the girl. Isis bless and guide me she thinks as the bell rings.

Clayton waites for them by a large willow and Griff looks at the black dage Ram quizically. "Borrowed it from my dad. As long as I don't crash I'll be fine." he looks at Griff their secret passing between them in silence. Looking at Amaris he sighs and shrugs , "Sorry it will be a little cramped it's only a three seater." Amaris nodds and Griff slides into the middle seattucking hre feet under the seat. Clayton gose around to the other side and starts the truck.

Aravor was waiting with every one, in the town of Terenova. She knew the stakes if the vampires were to counter-plan and take over the city. She was ready, if not anything, to fight for the war. ?Uhh?Anna if I could ask a question??
?Yes Aravor.?
?Well I wanted to know if it is very hard to fight a vampire.?
?Oh my sweet. The vampires that attack in groups are not but weak servants sent by Viktor. He liked to play with us years ago.?
?What do you mean years ago??
?Well how would I explain it? It was more of treaty in the end.?
?A treaty??
?Yes we kind of sent the vampires back into the hell that they came from. Now that our barrier is dissipating more powerful vampires have been able to get out.?
?So who is our main target??
?Well that would be Daktor. He has the power, with other high-class vampires, to open up our barrier.?
?But why must we protect this town if this isn?t the barrier??
?Well this town is only protected by a barrier that will block only very powerful vampires. If Daktor were to dig a tunnel under this town, about a few hundred yards, he would be able to unseal the barrier of the main tunnel and release the most powerful vampire that angels have ever faced. The vampire known as Dracula.?
There was a grimace and a chuckle that made it past Aravor. ?Really I know that Dracula is only a fictional character.?
?Are you insinuating that I am making this up? Well I?ll have you know I fought in that war. It was the most awful war of all. It was the last rebellion fight of the vampires.? There is no one left alive after that fight. The vampires thought there were no angels left after that fight. Our great ruler was able to seal the great vampire in the depths of hell with the last of her strength. She was the wife of god. She died only to save countless lives and no human knows of it.?
?What an amazing story. I?m guessing that you lost your uhh?lover in that war.?
?Yes child. I lost him in that war. The attack on the city left only me and him to protect the city. *sob sob* He put his last strength into weakening Dracula to the extent that he was fightable. He was the right hand warrior of god.?
?But may I ask how did the angel population recuperate from the war??
?Well there were only one hundred angels left after that. I was one of them. We repopulated in holy manner. People had to die and not stay immortal. That is why people die of old age.?
?I see. Well thank you Anna.?
?After that battle the vampires thought that they defeated the angels and the people dieing was a curse. So now that they are figuring out the way to unleash the greatest evil we must destroy the head vampires. They are Viktor, Daktor, and the council of vampires.?
There was a sudden scream after this. All of them herd it. Cuntan said ?It is a vampire he is sucking away at a women?s neck. We have to save her.?
?There is no hope left now. Yet, we will defeat this vampire. We will show no mercy for harming the innocent.? Anna said with a lot of pride.
?How tough is this vampire? Is it one I can handle??
?This one seems to be on your scale. Alright, go ahead attack it and show it that no one messes with human life. Oh yes and show him that you are a human not an angel. If you put some of your feathers in your fists you will do fine with martial arts.?
So Aravor was heading down the steps with confidence.

OOC: Alright to sum it up because it is so confusing: The post is about the time before and why vampires think that the angels were gone in the first place. The mighty war that raged a long time ago. Alright this is for anyone that doesn't understand. ;)

Irisa stirred restlessly in her bed before sitting up. She looked about the dark room frustrated. The deep blood red walls and dark blue curtains were as she had left them as she fell asleep. Her large vanity sat on the other side of the room, her dress from the night before drapped across the chair to dry. A dresser next to her bed stained in cherry and a small stand by her bed. A closet was set on the other side of the room hiding all of her finest dresses.

Irisa shoved her dark blue blankets aside as she slid from the bed. Her satin night dress clung gently to her body as she reached for her robe that hung on the wall behind the stand. She slid the soft material over her bare shoulders and tied the belt gently around her waist. She knew it was about mid-day, but she couldn't sleep. Something was keeping her from resting this day and she wanted to know what it was. She looked towards the door, the bookshelves towering on either side. Even after almost twelve centuries, Irisa still felt as if she knew nothing. The great war had come and gone, her parents were nothing but history and the same for the vampires that had slain them.

Irisa took a deep sigh and walked slowly over to her vanity. How she longed to be able to see her appearance in that mirror. She even pondered getting rid of it. It was just a constant reminder of what she was never going to be again. It wasn't that she hated being a vampire. It had its appealing points of course and she enjoyed taking life from those who didn't deserve it. But it would have been so nice to look upon one's reflection again.

Irisa took a brush from the top of the vanity and began to run it gently through her long alburn hair, the small streaks of red glowing like red embers in the dark. She sighed again, anxiety streaking across her face. It wasn't just anxiety that seemed to be bothering her.

"Why do I have such a strange lust for either sex or blood this day?" Irisa whispered allowed. She timidly touched her neck, swirling around gently. She needed to talk to Viktor or some one. She placed her brush back onto the vanity and walked towards the door.

"Lady Irisa, out a little early aren't we?" one of the human servants spoke as soon as she left her room.

"Something troubles me, where is Lord Viktor?" Irisa asked as she closed her door.

"I am not sure my Lady."

"Is he in his room?" Irisa turned directly towards the man before her.

"I truly don't know Lady Irisa." The man replied.

12:56, Mid Day cycle, Madison Street

Damnit, Viktor, Viktor thought to himself as he drained the woman under him in the middle of the street, you've done it again...Viktor had left the mansion right after the meeting had concluded, in need of a breath of fresh air. It was raining, the clouds drowned out the light of the sun, so Viktor had come out in his sleek black trenchcoat, because he didn't particularly like getting wet. Viktor was more careful after finishing this time, making sure to hide the body before leaving, and when he finished 'cleaning up', he took his handkerchief out again and wiped his mouth clean of the blood. Little did he realize that he had been watched the whole time.
A mid-twenty-ish woman walked up to him. "What did you just do?" she asked in a quavering voice that Viktor realized immediately was faked. He raised an eloquent eyebrow, showing a theatrical confusion.
"Why, whatever do you mean, ma'am? I was just...out on a walk, that's all." It occurred to him that this could be an angel he was talking to, in which case, he could only hope that there was only one around, because he had left all of his weaponry in his room.
Don't try to fool around with me, mister! You just killed someone, didn't you?!" the woman shrieked. Viktor's playful smile vanished from his face, replaced now by a deadly smirk.
"I'll give you one chance to say you don't want to know, then I'll make you find out the hard way," he growled, cracking his knuckles. when the lady didn't back away in fear, but instead held up her hands as if to fight, he knew for sure she was an angel. "You've got some guts, lady, coming here with a fight on your mind," Viktor laughed.
The woman shouted at him and threw a punch. Viktor gracefully dodged the blow, letting it graze his hand as he moved. He held up his hand after moving, and the knuckles that had been grazed sizzled slightly. Yep, he thought, definitely an angel.
"Now honestly, miss, is that as fast as you can move?! I'm...disappointed," Viktor laughed; he thought it was terribly fun to irritate people, egging them on into a sort of...well, bad mood. He waited for the second swing, preparing a spell. When her second attack was mere moments away from him, he activated a blink spell, blinked out, and blinked back in a couple of feet away, laughing even more. He ran into an alley, making sure the woman followed him.
"So tell me, angel..." Viktor practically sang, "You here because you think I'm just some average Joe vampire? Because you think you can beat me?" Quick as lightning, the woman slugged him across the face. His cheeck turned a little red from the burn, and his lip started bleeding, but it only helped fuel Viktor's bloodlust. In the blink of an eye, Viktor brought his head back to bear, swung upwards, and was now holding up the angel by her neck, with one hand, about three feet off the ground. His hand itched from the burning this touch caused, but he ground his teeth and strengthened his hold.
"I'll have you know, creature..." Viktor growled evilly; his own blood did not taste as sweet as that of others, "I'm Count Silvermoon." A whole flock of angels flew down on their wings, perhaps forty all in count, shouting Aravor, which, Viktor supposed, was this angel's name, this one that had dared lay a hand on him. This...this is a bit too much for me, Viktor thought to himself.
"I'm sorry if you were expecting a party," Viktor shouted to the massive crowd of angels now circled around him, "but sadly, I must be off!" And with that, Viktor cast a teleport spell he had set up a few minutes ago, and seconds later popped into his room, back in the mansion. So, I was correct...the angels must be here in large scale, if so many were there to attack me.
Viktor walked over to an old, dusty chest, found the key in his pocket, and unlocked it. As he opened the chest, a great deal of dust billowed up, and it took a few moments to settle, but when it cleared, he reached into his chest. This chest was very closely guarded by Viktor. This was why it was so dusty: he wouldn't even allow the possessed butlers and maids to dust it off. The chest had inside it all of his personal belongings from the old war of so many years ago.
Viktor reached into the chest (a very large chest, about 4x5x3 feet) and pulled out a long sheath. Standing up in front of a mirror, he unsheathed the blade Redmoon, a three-and-a-half-foot long katana that he had crafted and infused with the essence of vampires for the war. With the essence of vampires in it, it spread death to any holy being it touched, and cast no reflection. To the viewing eye, however, it looked simply like a night-black blade tinted red from the blood it had spilled all those years ago. Viktor held it up, making sure the magic was still suffused in the cold steel. Sure enough, Redmoon didn't show in the mirror, still powerful with vampiric energy. Viktor smiled.
"Ah, Redmoon...it's been a while..." he whispered, almost as if speaking to the blade, "...Soon, I believe you'll taste angel's blood once again."
Suddenly, a knock came from the doorway. Viktor snapped Redmoon back in its sheath and carefully slid it under his bed. "Come in!" he called.
"Oh, master Viktor! For a while, we thought you'd run off again. Where have you been?" asked a young girl dressed in maid's uniform.
"Oh, I've been in the library...reading one of my favorite novels. I'm sorry to have frightened you."
"Why are you wearing a trenchcoat, master Viktor?" piped the girl, questioningly.
"Oh, that? Well, I...I...erm...would you be a dear and go check on Daktor and the others? I would hate for any of our guests to get lost in here..." Viktor stammered, trying to avoid the subject. The girl nodded graciously.
"As you wish, master Viktor."

Irisa slipped past the servant and headed towards the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen a small blonde girl and boy rushed up to her. Each took a hold of one of her hands and lowered to one knew. They touched their foreheads to the back of her hands in such a gracious manner that Irisa nearly blushed.

?What brings our Lady out so early in the day?? The small girl asked, keeping her head pressed firmly against Irisa?s hand.

?My Lady is not properly dress, shall I fetch something for you?? the young boy chimmed in just after his sister.

?My good children. My throat aches and a thirst so terribly. Would you be so kind to fetch me something to quench my thirst?? Irisa brought both the children?s hands up to her, bending down so they didn?t have to raise of their knees and gave each a gentle kiss on their hands.

?Any thing for you, my Lady.? Both children replied as they left her.

Irisa smiled. She was so fond of the human children. They seemed so grateful to be just in the vampress? present, let alone to be able to touch her. They seem to enjoy every second of life they had, as if it were they?re last.

Irisa took a seat in one of the chairs in the kitchen to await her meal. She watched the human servants move busily to and from the kitchen. She could hear their hearts beating as their pace quicken or lessen. Their beautiful scent filled her nostrils and her lust for their blood began to become almost unbearable as the children came to her with cups full of red liquid. The fresh smell of rich blood so close to her sent her over the edge and she lunged at the children. She savagely drank the liquid and suddenly found her self facing reality. She looked at the children, fear streaked across their face and Irisa could no longer take their stares. She raced from the kitchen blindly, running into some one just outside.

?Lady Irisa,? Daktor?s voice rang in her ears. ?Why are you up so early my dear, and running about in such attire?? He pulled her from his chest and looked down at her, noticing blood drizzling from the corner her mouth. He brought her head up and succulently removed the blood from her mouth. Her leaned closer to probe her mouth with his tongue when she pulled away.

?I am sorry my Lord, but I must talk to Lord Viktor.? Irisa slid from his grip and rushed up the stairs and down the corridor to Viktor?s courter?s. Irisa knocked firmly on the door and waited for a reply.

?Hold on one moment.? Viktor?s voice rang from inside the room. Irisa waited impatiently outside the door when Viktor?s voice rang out again, ?come in.?

Irisa threw the door open and closed the door quickly behind her. ?I am so sorry, my Lord, but I knew not where else to turn.? Irisa whined, a characteristic she had never shown before. She turned around to take in Viktor?s sight. Even in the darkened room she could see every line of his body through his trench coat. His strong gorgeous face looking at her, giving her the once over, more or less because of her outfit.
Irisa made her way across the room to stand in front of the man. She took his eyes and felt a strange surge of desire race through her, then suddenly heard his heart beating softly. She turned from him knowing that he would never have her. His fancy was humans, not vampires.

?I know not what has come over me, my Lord. Could it have something to do with the Angels returning?? Irisa spoke softly.

OOC: if Daktor isn't that kind of vampire I'll change the name to some random one.

?Who was that? He was faster than me.?
?Well Aravor that was Viktor. He was the general of an army. He always had the great vampire kantana with him, Redmoon.?
?Well he is not quite the person I would date. When he touched me he burned from holy inside me, correct??
?Yes Aravor.?
Cuntan than said ?Hey kid, you ok??
?Yes I?m ok.?
?Wow Viktor is back all these years later. The faithful servant of General Daktor. That was Dracula?s right hand vampire. He was nothing but a pawn though. If Daktor challenged the holy mistress he would get beaten badly. Also Viktor would too. That would only be if she was still alive.?
?Why so powerful??
?She was wife of god. She suppose to be powerful to correct angels. Anyway, Viktor is quite the fighter. If he had his sword he would have slaughtered us too.?
?Sword??
?It is his sword. The sword is able to destroy anything of holiness. Varion has no need to be here.?
*Some one?ksshhh?We nee?kshh?vampire atta?kshh?Mid level?---*
?No that was the east side team. They have found us and are toying with us. Angel Strike team go!?

Later they arrived at the building facing off against five mid level vampires.
?Get ready Aravor these ones may be slower but they are the fighter type.? Aratsu said.
?Alright let?s fight.? Aravor was pulling out her feathers only to hear one comment from Anna.
?You?ll pluck your whole wing off to fight these guys. What you need to do is call upon the holy sword.?
?How??
?Easy you just hold out your hand and yell, SUTZIMA!? A sword materialized in Anna?s hand.
?SUTZIMA!? A flash of light came and a sword was in her hand. ?Wow.?
?Don?t goggle at it fight with it.? Said Kutle.
Time after time the vampires would be stricken by the blade and be hurt.
?Ahh now I will just kill you all. I was going to spare mercy on all you angels but I will do what lord Daktor said to do and I will kill all of you!?
*Gasp* ?General Daktor is back. He has risen. We will all have to fight. Die you vampire!? said Kell.
Kell lounged at him and he dodged up into the air and came down with his claw and scared the angels face. ?Ha one of the only parts of a vampire not effected by your holy body.?
?Damn claws.?
?Aravor,? Anna said whispering, ?I will come up in front of him and try to do the same thing Kell did ok.?
?But you will?? Aravor stopped once Anna made a wink at her. ?Alright I know what to do.?
?Where did the others go??
?Back to lord Daktor. He wanted a report on Terenova. Now we have a report and we have something extra for him too.?
?Damn you!? Anna said ?I will send you back to the depths of hell where you came from.? Anna started to charge.
Aravor started what she would do. The vampire dodged the blow just like he dodged Kell?s ?You fool. It won?t work. I will now?uhhgghh.?
A sword was going right through his mouth. Aravor had stabbed him in the back of the head. ?Now tell Daktor that you will have to face us before they have the town of Terenova.?
?Funny,? Anna said in a strange way.
?What Anna?? Aravor asked.
?The vampires that were headed out I?m sure I saw them going out of town.?
?That must mean that??
?Yes the headquarters of the vampires are in a different town. Now that they know where our headquarters in Terenova is we?ll have to stay here for a long while.?
?Well Anna I think we should send some one in as a spy.?
?How will we do that if we don?t know where the vampires? head quarters is.? Said Cuntan.
?We will just have a human that already knows the headquarters, who also is badly treated and wants to do something bad to them, be our spy.?
?Where will we find a human like that. You know that in the old war that all humans are loyal to Daktor or Viktor.?
?Well we don?t have to say that we are angels.?
?That is true.?
?Uhhh?question.? Aravor said quite quietly.
?Yes Aravor.? Anna said.
?Why do you call him Viktor when he said he was Count Silvermoon.?
?He was that name in the war. I?ll get more into that later. Now we need a spy.?

Before Amaris can get in the truck Griff looks down the road quickly and slids out,"I'm sorry, I've just rembered something. I'll meet you two at the dock," She looks at Clayton meaningfully, "Don't have too much fun." he says scarstically. Griff smiles and hurries down the street. "Well come on." Clayton says to Amaris.

Dissapearing around the corner Griff breaks into a run, something was up. She nears the park and turns right. She sees several people running from an abandoned building and sighes an uncomprenhensiable word, a silver bo appears in her hands, at the tip of the bo is a two foot curved blade made of the same material. Her wings hang limp behind hidden from veiw as the wind tuggs at her long coat. Slowly she makes her way to the building and silently enters through the open door. Several angels stand there, she starts and nearly drops the bo one end clangs on the ground sending a pure note to the other angels. They turn to look at her swords ready. She glares at them, "What happened here? When did you arrive? Why..." her words break off and she gazes at each of them more calmly.

?Now that wasn?t so tough.? Anna said with a grimace. All of the angels then turn around to head back to the building when they spot the wings of another angel in the door that was unrecognizable by the rest of the team.
?Excuse me?? Aravor asked politely, ?Who are you??
Still having a slight look of surprise on her face the angel answered, ?The name is Griff. Who might you be??
?Well I?m Aravor.?
?Nice to meet your acquaintance Aravor.?
?Why are you here?? Anna asked with a stern look on her face.
Becoming less calm Griff answered back, ?I was just wondering what was happening. You?d think that people would wonder what this big ruckus was.?
?Well you got me there, but why are you here and not signed in the Angel Brigade??
?Well I do not wish to fight. I wish to help these people of dire need.?
?Well if you are going to help and not fight you can come and live with us in this city. People live with terrifying times of these vampires. I mean you wouldn?t have to fight but you could help.?
?Well I could consider it. I really don?t have anywhere permanent at the time.?
?May I intervene please?? Aravor said quite politely.
?What is it Aravor??
?I was just wondering, now that Viktor knows our whereabouts won?t he try to come after me??
?Well that hasn?t past my mind.?
?I think I need to return to the chief and ask for resignation into some quick and very powerful technique abilities.?
?You mean speed and some better techniques right?? Anna said knowingly
?Yes.?
?Go right ahead we will help out Griff while you are gone.? So Aravor went back to the Chief of unit #197.

?May I see the Chief?? Aravor asked the front desk angel.
?Miss are you a soldier, friend, or relative of the chief.?
?Soldier.? Aravor answered.
?Go on in then.?
?Aravor what a pleasure it is to see you.? Said the Chief welcomly.
?Chief do you know about a vampire, Viktor??
?Viktor,? the chief said with said with a horrid look on his face, ?Viktor is the vampire who single handedly destroyed twelve of our best angel armies with the sword called the Redmoon. The most treacherous sword know to angels.?
?Well I kind of picked a fight with him.?
?Don?t have to say anymore Aravor I know what you need. Train in the chamber to my left. It will slow down time here while you speed up. A month in there is like being trained in one day out here. Go and train.?
?Thank you sir. Could you come in five days from now??
?No problem. I?ll let you out in five days. Meanwhile your other team members will be informed of your choice.?
Aravor was walking in but remembered to tell the chief, ?Hey Chief.?
?Yes Aravor.?
?We met an angel down in Terenova. Would you please keep an eye on her? If she walks away from the group I know there is bound to be trouble.?
?No problem.? Now Aravor was off to train for five months in the chamber.

Griff watches the other angels unseteinly, her foot taps nervously, she didn't like liying to any one. Her glaive lies across her lap ready in case somthing happens, "You can put that away." Anna says standing above her, Griff shakes her head, "I feel better with it here. It's been a long time sice I held it." she smiles at Anna. "How long would that be?" Griff looks at the wall trying to rember, "When Tutenkanan was crowned, I protected him." she continues to stare at the wall. Anna frowns, "That long? What do you do, excatly? You don't look that old."
Griff smirks, "Isis is kind to those who serve her but...," Griff stands quickly, "I have to go. Clayton.." she looks at Anna like she didn't know her, "I have to go." she walks to the door quickly. Aravor was training for six months now and she was ready for almost anything. She was now wiser and intelligent. She was also a lot better in agility. She was waiting for the moment to finally come out and battle against the great vampire that still left choke marks on her neck. *When I defeat that Viktor I will finally be able to get rid of these marks. The touch of a non holy, evil being leaves marks that can only be gone if the one who caused it dies.* Aravor thought to herself.

It was the next day she found a familiar figure walk through the door. It was the commanding officer. He didn?t look any different than the time he left her in here. Then again she would expect it due to the chamber?s powers. ?Hello commanding officer.?
?Hello Aravor. There seems to have been a ruckus down on earth. The angel Griff was reported left from team capes post just awhile ago.?
?She left!? I wonder if she can actually battle against vampires.?
?There are no records of her except for the time on the list of angels that protected the great Tutenkanan.?
?Well I?m ready to rejoin Anna and the others. It is time for solemn remorse for the loss of Griff.?
?Well I must say that you sure got wiser. Just in six months too.?
?Six months for me and six days for you out here.?
?Yes that is true yet you aren?t going back to Angel strike until next week.?
?What, why!??
?There has been reports on earth that there are strange activities going on in a region called Moon?s Glory. That is the nickname. The name of the town is Ganava. The name in the townspeople?s language means devils hill. For now let?s just call it Devil?s hill. We have evidence that there are vampiratic activities there.?
?So what are you asking me to do??
?You and Anna have seemed to have been getting along. You and her will go to the town and investigate. Return in two weeks. Your mission will never lower my suspicions there, but if it proves correct they will heighten them. You know what you have to do.?
?Right sir. I will do my duty.? Aravor was leaving when she just remembered. ?Uh sir.?
?Yes??
?Would you keep a look out for Griff though? I have now improved in wisdom and wish to go on a mission with her. She seems like the type that would help us if she was given the right circumstances.?
?I will Aravor. Now quickly get Anna and just teleport to the outskirts of the town of Devil?s Hill. Remember, we don?t want you to be found out. If you are found they will show no mercy.?
?Alright sir.?

OOC: Just want to say that the town I?m going to with Anna is not Viktor?s and Daktor?s hideout. Meaning that I?m not intruding upon there little house.

*I better hide these in my jacket or I might give myself away.*Sakura thuoght. "You must be the newbie."A man with all white pants and and shirt with a white cape me ou from behind a tree. Sakura looked at him and smiled then hit him slightley in the stomach with her elbow."Nice to see you to Sakura.Geeze ya know that's tender spot."
'Ya havn't changed a bit since you left Mark."Sakura ran up and gave Mark a big hug."I've missed you!Why havn't you visited or anything since you left I've been worried sick about you!"Mark walked over and leaned agains a tree and looked at the clouds and then back at Sakura."I've had no way of connectng you. Especailly since the vammpires have started to grow.I think they might be finding ways to catch us better, but my thoughts."Sakura looked at him."It's almost night fall we better get ready the vamp's should be heading out so nows the time to be on gard. Were should we head out to?Have any major vampirr sightings or any major feeding grounds yet?" "A couple but nothing to seriouse though."

Mark grabbed Sakura's hand and Sakura laid her head on his shoulder.Mark and Sakura walked down the street until they heard a noise in the ally. Sakura put her hands on her one of her weapons and let the other hang loose and Mark did the same. They both stopped and looked down the ally and heard a scream coming from the end of the ally. Sakura and Mark ran down the ally and saw a dark figure holding a young teenage girl with two holes in her neck. Sakura pulled out her blades ang got ready to fight but before she could charge the figure vanished into the night leaving the girl lying on the ground. Sakura ran to the girl and pulled out a white cloth and put it on the girls neck to stop the bleeding. The girl looked white shade of pale colour then she tried to say something but before she could the girl took a last breath and her heart stopped."I can help her still there's time to heal." Mark put his hand on her shoulder."It's to late she's already turning the poisen is already in her system. We have to kill her before she become's one of them".The girl jumped up and tryed to bite Sakura but Mark pulled out his sword and stabbed the girl thruogh the heart and she screamed and burst into flames and dissapeared in the wind.

"They turn alot quicker than I remember"."Yeah I know thats why there sending more angels down to fight them theyvebecome evan more dangerous than ever know".Mark held out his hand and lifted Sakura off the ground and they both walked out of the ally.Sakura held her head and looked aruond then she fell to the ground and her nose started to bleed and her head started to feel like it was about to explode.Mark nelt down next to her and put his hand on her back."Are you alright Sakura? What's wrong?"Sakura tried to speak but her head hurt to much then she got enough energy to say something."I can sence something..I think it's ...it's the vampire that killed me I can still feel him when he's around I still have a connection evan when I was cured from being a vampire years ago.But I thought...I would stop feeling his presence if I was killed and became an angel it doesn't make any sence only vampires can sence the one's who bit them inless I wasn't cured all the way then.. well never mind that can't be true I can't still be part vampire".*Can I?* Sakura thought.

3:42, Dawn cycle, Viktor's room

Viktor's decision was so abrupt it startled even him. Sheathing his ancient blade and hiding it under the folds of his still-drying coat, he marched out the doors of his room. Of course, everyone concerned was utterly dumbfounded as to what he was doing. One little ten-year-old girl who had been born into his servitude tugged at his long trenchcoat, looking up at him with pleading eyes.
"Master, where are you going on such short notice?" she asked, half frightened be the unusually serious expression on his face. He looked down at the girl, gazing into her big maroon eyes that she had inherited from her mother, whom he'd entranced some four years previous. Then he snapped from his own trance, and that serious look took over his expression again.
"I'm taking a walk, Linda," he said in a cool, icy voice, "Be a dear for me and inform the others that I'll be back before sunrise." And without another word, he half-ran out the door.
"Viktor!" a female voice shouted from the doorway. Viktor whipped around, his white-blue eyes glowing eerily in the darkness. "You never answered my question! And what was that sword all about?!"
"Never you mind!" Viktor shouted, more severely than he intended, "I just...I need some time alone...to think." Viktor turned around. He was sick and tired. Tired of all the vampires he had to live with. Tired of the war, tired of the constant fear of swift death from behind on the wings of an angel. His true intentions on this walk were to get away from all the vamire activity. He so yearned to simply mingle, with the humans, perhaps even the angels someday, no violence, no vile blood feud. But above all else right now, he wanted above all else to get away from his own kind.

Of course, should he be identified as a vampire while he was out, he was prepared. That's what Redmoon was there for.

In fact, since the road was again, completely deserted, he rather stuck out. So did the angel that walked toward him, wings outstretched like some sort of heavenly bird. So Viktor had already been spotted. That didn't take very long, Viktor thought, casting a half-amused glance towards the top of the buildings on the street. It was in vain, he knew, to try to find the ones that had seen him, for angels can be tricky little blighters when they don't want to be seen, but nonetheless he looked, just to make him seem weaker. Like the saying goes, he thought devilishly, show your weakness to hide your strength.
"What are you doing here, vampire?!" the angel shouted, withdrawing a weapon that looked suspiciously like a human handgun. Viktor eyed the guns uneasily, but still managed to keep his cheery expression and voice.
"I think the question, my boy, is what are you doing here? I happen to be on a little nightly walk, thank you very much." The angel growled, taking aim with the device. "Drop the humor, wiseguy," he warned, "Or I'll throw you a couple rounds."
Viktor laughed menacingly. "No fair!" he complained in a mocking voice, "You were gonna do that anyways!" The youthful angel shouted this insult down and pulled the trigger. With an obnoxious bang, a wicked fast metal slug tore through the air, very nicely aimed at Viktor's face. With a sneer, Viktor drew out Redmoon and sliced the bullet in half. In the blink of an eye, all this happened. Then, after a few seconds, the still air reacted to the force of Viktor's swing, and whipped about, creating a deadly windhash flying towards the angel, who nimbly dodged the invisible gust, although the lashing wind nicked the end of his wing, sending feathers scattering here and there.
Barely registering the blow, he fired once, twice, three times more, at the dark figure now dsahing towards him. Viktor wrapped his body in a protective spell as he ran, and the black magic swept over his skin like a jet-black liquid. The bullets bounced harmlessly off the casing. Twenty feet, ten feet, five! The spell vanished as Viktor jumped to the air, ready to cleave the angels head from his shoulders. The arm with the gun jerked up at the last second and fired, sending another shot screaming at Viktor, who struck it with his blade mid leap with a force that seemd to liquify the slug, sending it splashing across his face. Distracted, he had unintentionally jumped supernaturally high, and landed about ten feet behind the angel.
Before the angel could come back to bear, Viktor ran up behind him and dug Redmoon deep into his back, a full two feet of the black blade vanishing inside him. The blade didn't pierce through the other side, though, this was a part of the curse Viktor had crafted for his blade Redmoon. Somwhere inside the angel's body, the blade's tip opened, as though hollow, and began to pull the angels blood into it. This was an adaptation the living blade had provided itself, sucking its victims dry as it penetrated them. How like a vampire it had become.
Laughing slightly, Viktor pulled Redmoon out of the angel, the blade sparkling clean, having even taken in the very blood that had stained it. The angel, not dead yet (this was a part of the blade's magic that Viktor had created for the purpose of entertainment only), and stared at him weakly through brilliant green eyes. Then, his veins turned black, creeping up from the wound, stretching to the farthest extremities of the angels body, like some necrotic disease spreading through his system. The angel writhed, screaming, and turned to dust, leaving only a sapphire jewel that had once been an angel's heart. Viktor picked up the precious jewel, wondering what to do with it. Perhaps I'll give it to Irisa, he thought, half-amused, I'm sure she'd love it.
A sudden, intense heat tore across his face. Remembering the liquified bullet, Viktor picked up the gun and carefully removed the magazine. He touched one of the bullets with his finger, and a slight hissing sound emitted from his finger. The bullet then melted back into water that smelled far too much like rose. Frozen holy water? Viktor wondered half-bemusedly, looks like the angels have found a new toy...
Minutes later, he came through the door to the mansion. He cleared his throat for a moment before shouting in a massive, booming voice, "Everybody, to the grand hall! We've got watergun problems!"

For anyone who might not know, rose petals are one of the ingredients of holy water.

Anna was down in the front hallway when Aravor got back. ?Hey you look like you got older.?
?Your just saying that Anna.?
?Griff gave no specific reason why she left but she is gone.?
?I know. Anna.?
?Yes Aravor.?
?We have a mission assigned to us by our Chief in command.?
?What is the mission??
?We are to investigate Devil?s Hill. Once we complete that we will eventually have enough evidence to declare a war, I guess.?
?Alright we will go for the mission.?
?I may even get lucky enough to face off against the vampire that gave me these marks on my throat.?
?Yes, you just may. You sure have gotten a bit smarter than you were before.?
?I guess I am. Now we must go to the town and stay hidden unless I see the vampire Viktor again. He is my main enemy at the moment. I know the main objective, yet, he is my main enemy.?
?Well we will have to take some food for the trip. Let?s go get some from upstairs.?
?Alright. Only enough for a week though. We don?t want to get suspicious. We are only there for a week too. I can already feel the presence of vampires building up.?
?Ok. We?ll go and we will have some fun if there is time.?

Later in the upper part of the apartment, ?We are going to the town called Devil?s Hill for a week.? Said Aravor with a bit of pride, ?There are reports of vamparatic activities.?
?We will be gone for the next week so call on help from the other teams when you need it.?
?Good-bye.? The group said.
?Good-bye and we will see you next week.?

Aravor and Anna were walking to the town later that day with a weeks worth of food they could carry. There was about a hour of silence and then Aravor spoke. ?Anna, I feel the presence of vampires increase as we walk towards the town.?
?Well that is due to the scars you have on your throat. The scars let you have the ability to find other vampires that haven?t concealed themselves with their power.?
?So why do they call out to the town. I thought that the only use these scars do is to track down the vampire that put them there.?
?No they track down a vampire that hasn?t been concealed. Viktor is not a risk taking vampire unless he is on a full fight against angels or strong human beings. Daktor is one of the vampires that has himself concealed 24/7. He doesn?t want anyone to know where he is at all times.?
?How do you know this about them??
?The old war has many untold secrets.?
?Alright I get it.?

They approach the town at ten o? clock p.m. the same day. They just need to find a place to stay. ?Hey Anna this one is a small hotel that doesn?t look to conspicuous.?
?Well the hotel looks too inconspicuous.?
?We?ll have to stay somewhere. I know we can stay at a mildly good hotel. Something three star.?
?Sure how about this one. It is good and kind of remote.? Anna said in a relieving sound.
?Now all we have to do is wait here until the end of the week.? They had finally settled in and were going to begin their investigation in the morning.

Griff felt their presence before they arrived; she watches the two from the back garden. "No." she says exasperatedly, "Why here?" her heart freezes. ?Nina!? she calls to her exchange hostess, ?Nina, looks like company coming down the road.? Nina appears at the door to the garden and watches as the two appear, ?Well, what do you know.? She says happily, her curly dark brown hair disappearing as she turns and walks to the front waiting. Griff makes the cross on her chest with a loop at the top* and follows her into the hotel. Clayton meets her at the door; ?Company?? he says questionably,?How did?Your friends?? Griff nods, ever since he had taken the job at the hotel he had been weedaling information out of her. She rolls her eyes and moves him out of her way. ?Go help Nina.? She looks around the kitchen, and frowns, what were they doing here? This place was remotely out of the vampire?s way. She grabs four bottles of water out of the fridge and walks up the stairs to the angel?s rooms. She knocks, before they open the door Clayton rests a hand on her shoulder, ?There?s no way I?m missing this. It?s almost a cool as when you removed the soul from the body.? They here a surprised gasp and look at the now emerged Anna, ?Griff! A human saw you?? Griff nods, ?Clayton?s been helping me with the trouble Isis sent me to clear up.? She looks at the ground, ?I lied to you, I?m sorry for that.? Aravor appears at their side, ?When did you arrive?? Smiling Griff looks at them both, ?I live here, and help Nina and her family.? Aravor and Anna look at her doubtfully.

*It's the Egyptian cross, instead of the regular cross it has a loop at the top
And if Anna and Aravor arn't like this then I'll change it.

Slashing through the mansion in a small fit of rage, Irisa made her way back to her room. She slammed the door behind her as she tore through the room looking for suitable clothing to put on. She hadn't even realized that it was now the evening.

"Lady Irisa?" Irisa heard some one ask from the other side of the door.

"What?" she barked as she threw slacks and a blouse onto the bed.

"Lord Viktor calls for a meeting in the grand hall." Her bedroom door slid open apartially and a youthful looking face appeared in the space.

Irisa strolled aggressively across the carpeted floor and pulled the door open. The gentleman at the door nearly fell to his face before her. "Did I say for you to enter?" she asked bitterly.

"No ma'am. I'm sorry Lady Irisa." The gentleman gathered his composer and started to leave.

"I'll be down in a moment." Irisa called after him as she gently shut the door.

Taking a deep sigh, Irisa made her way towards the small bathroom off of her room. She quickly washed up and dressed herself. The soft fabric hung losely on her slight frame and left imagination to run wild. Irisa took a seat before her vanity, ignoring the fact that he reflexion went unseen. She ran a brush gently through her long thick hair before pulling it back from her face and tying it with a velvet ribbon. Small strains slipped from the ribbon and fell along the sides of her delicate face. She slid from her chair and placed small raised heeled shoes before exitting her room.

Her temperment seemed to be less filled with frustration and her previous lust had vanished.

"Would you like an escort my lovely lady?" Irisa heard a very familiar voice behind her.

She turned around to see Daktor, a thick, bright smile creased across his face. He extended his arm, keeping it bent at the elbow. Irisa returned a friendly smile and slid her arm around his. He placed his other hand over her exposed arm and began to walk towards the great hall.

"I see you are in a better mood, did you find Viktor?" Daktor asked as they made their way through the halls of the mansion.

"Yes, my Lord, I did find Lord Viktor." Irisa replied simply, smiling delicately at the servants and other vampires they passed along the way.

"Did you discover the answer to whatever your problem was?"

Irisa turned to him then, her eyes dancing about his face searching for some explaination as he turned towards her.

"No, unfortunitly I did not." Irisa nodded and brought her eyes back to their path.

As the great vampire and Irisa enter the grand hall, Vikto stood in the center. Other vampires had gathered around him and the servants were beginning to do the same. Most of the vampires were dressed in delicate or fancy wardrobe, set for an evening out on the town. Irisa smiled at them as she entered with Daktor. A few smugged looks crossed some faces and a few flattered ones from the servants.

Irisa brought her attention towards Viktor who seemed to be rather frustrated and up tight. He held a strange sword in one hand and a stone of some sort in the other. He had been out, she could smell the night on his clothing even from this distance.

Daktor slipped from Irisa for a moment only to return with a chair. He sat the object behind her and helped her to sit down, though she didn't need it. He took a few steps foward so he was standing beside the dark haired vampiress. Still more entered the grand hall until it was uncomfortable to move normally, that's when Viktor began to talk.

Standing there a bit surprised Anna said to Griff, ?Good for you. You should help out the community. We just wanted to check in for a week stay.?
?All right that will be room #27 at the end of the hallway.? Griff said with pleasure.
?Ok I?ll see you tomorrow then.? Aravor said in a whimsical attitude.
?Good-night Aravor, Anna?
?Good-night Griff!? Anna and Aravor said in harmony.

The next morning Griff was cooking for the young lady and her family. Aravor was already gone in the city and Anna was the only one left sleeping. Soon enough Anna was up from the smell of breakfast. She had gotten up and dressed in a velvet blue color that morning. She was dressed from shoulder to shoulder with blue velvet. She came into the kitchen awhile later and had some breakfast. ?Very nice Griff. Did you cook by yourself, because this is great??
?Yes I did. I have to get used to cooking for guests and other people I have to take care of.?
?Yes. Uh where is Aravor??
?She said she had important business this morning.?
?Did she say anything else??
?No actually. She just said she would be back before the feast tonight is ready.?
?A feast. What is the feast for??
?It is to celebrate the fifteenth year this hotel was open. I heard that many people are coming. I will need supplies for this day though. It has become most frustrating to set up a good dinner for this particular day.?
?I?ll be more than happy enough to get that stuff for you.?
?That would be wonderful. I will lend you some money to get the things.? Griff was gone for only two minutes and returned with a list that went down to Anna?s chest. She also gave Anna some money.
?Well I?ll be off then.?
?See you tonight at the feast.?
?Alright I will.?

Anna found half the list by eleven O? clock. She just had to get many forks and many plates. Anna still didn?t find Aravor in this time though. She did find everything on the list, but Aravor wasn?t in sight. She was gone. Anna thought she must be in the hustle and bustle of the streets. There were many people in the town out buying gifts for each other. *Even though this place is called Devil?s Hill people here make it seem like it is called happy town.* Anna thought quite mesmerized to herself.
She later found the plates and forks. She went back to the hotel and set the stuff on the table. There was a new pair of beaters, some decorations, food, and etc? Anna didn?t know what to say when Griff got in the room. The only thing she said was ?There? in a breath she could only muster out from the extra breathing.
?Now I will be able to make the best feast. This will be quite the treasured memory.?
?Yes, but why was everyone shopping today. There was mad hustle and bustle on the streets.?
?It is also the day to celebrate when the town was first made in 100 B.C. It is said that the Devil was defeated here and his grave is on the hill. I know the ancient history though. It is all made up nonsense.?
?I see. I didn?t see, unfortunately, Aravor. She must be somewhere.?
?Well we?ll just have to find her tonight at the banquet.?
?I do feel a bit worried though. She is not on the streets and not here. It seems as though she was called out of the town or something?
At three thirty Anna was helping Griff with some of the cook work too. She found it amusing. Yet, even cooking couldn?t take her mind off that Aravor was missing.
