Kairi
''Call upon the Skulls, or meet your end...'' Kuroichi demanded... Looking at the entrance down to the ancient tomb of the Master of Darkness...in which the Dark Moonstone resided. Zoku closed his eyes and pondered on what action he should take. I'm not ready to fight him...not yet...it is not yet time. he thought to himself...preparing himself with a deep inhalation of the dead air that surrounded him...Zoku took out the Skull Sapphire from his trench coat. ''Ah...'' said Kuroichi...''so you do have it...excellent...now use its power my friend...and let us see where this goes.'' Feeling the gems immense power flowing through him...sensing the evil pulse in his hands...Zoku turned his head towards his adversary with the eyes of determination and concentration. It was as if his eyes glowed because of the power within him... ''You may know much Kuroichi...but I know some things that you don't.'' ''It's yours...'' tossing it into the air directly towards Kuroichi... You had such potential...you fool...you dissapoint me Zoku Kuroichi thought to himself as he prepared to catch the gem...then suddenly realizing his flaw. In an instant Zoku was upon him with remarkable speed...as if he were one of their own. The onslaught seemed never ending...caught off guard Kuroichi was being struck violently from all angles...being jabbed with tremendous force into the heart...Zoku pulled out his Wild Wind Sword with Kuroichi gasping for air...unable to avoid nor block the attack because of the weight of the claws on his hands...the human thrust the blade into the vampires chest...then pulling it out in a spinning reflex, gaining moment, he slashed through Kuroichi's shoulder severing his whole right arm from his body. ''Your so naive my old friend...why would you use a weapon without mastering it first...especially against the likes of me...'' Zoku still keeping his composure backing off to marvel at the damage he caused. Suddenly blood became drenched all over Kuroichi rebuilding on his body. A wave of blood shot out of Kuroichi's now missing limb and replenished it with a brand new arm. The wound on his chest now healing... Kuroichi began stretching out his new accuired arm... *slight chuckle* '...'My turn...'' Kuroichi said in a low firm voice as he threw his own blade at Zoku's right shoulder striking with great precision. ''oOo...so the human does bleed...'' with the power of the Blood Ruby he could feel every drop of Zoku's blood within him as he saw more and more drip to the stone floor of the crypt. Using his powers...Kuroichi grapped hold of Zoku's blood as if he were telekinetic and began flinging the human around by a mere thought. Throwing him into the stone structure that surrounded them both, all that Zoku could do was submit to the forces while dropping his blade to the ground. Being satisfied with his fun, Kuroichi finally let his control go over the human as he saw him fall to his face...all he could do was laugh out loud. ''You should see how pathetic you look right now Zoku...you know that it didn't have to be this way...you can still join now...''Kuroichi standing over Zoku's now battered body...''Do u know that i lied about your attacker being killed Zoku. The vampire in which you seek still lives. Did you truly believe that such a vampire that gave you such power could die so easily.?'' As Zoku attempted to rise, pushing up against Kuroichi's pressing foot on his back...Kuroichi didn't see the energy blast gathering in his left hand...as he rose, a quick thrust of Zoku hand which contained the energy exploded into Kuroichi's chest sending him flying into the opposite wall of the crypt. Using some of his powers on himself...Zoku began to heal his wound as he saw Kuroichi doing the same with the power of the Blood Ruby. ''Doesn't change the fact that I will defeat you...and I'll find my prey sooner or later.'' ''This battle will never end my friend...'' Kuroichi yelled to Zoku as both men stood to their feet. He's right...but with my human body I won't be able to last as long as he may...I've got to take him out with one blow...but how?'' ''Shall we have another go then bub...'' replied Zoku as they both entered the center of the crypt. Both men relieved themselves of their outer clothing such as their coats and guns...leaving both men shirtless with pants. Zoku went to pick up his Wild Wind where he dropped it as Kuroichi yielded his Shinku no Umi...amazing bright auras were being emitted from the two of them lighting up the entire crypt. ''Fuck..that hurt Zoku...its been centuries since I've felt such pain.'' ''Likewise...now where were we...'' Immediately, both men were in a fierce battle. If seen in slow motion the battle looked as if it were a painting...beautiful...lack of a better word. Kuroichi wasn't' using his Blood-Steal claws anymore...giving him more speed to rival Zoku's own. They each seemed to be evenly matched. The clashing of steal...the twists, dodges, evasions of each attack...they were at their peeks. Not one having an advantage over thee other. ''Just like the old days huh Zoku...'' Kuroichi smiled as the battle ravaged with Zoku kicking straight at his head...only to be blocked by Kuroichi's forearm. Thus sending back a punch of his into Zoku's jaw while the two's swords were locked together. Sending him backwards Kuroichi persued him...but Zoku caught his balance with his right foot...pushing forward with his left...Zoku swipped away the swing of Kuroichi's blade and sent his knee flying into Kuroichi's sternum. With him dazzed lossing balance, Zoku raised his left arm and gave a Kuroichi a massive closeline right on his throat having his head bounce off the stone floor. ''I have you now...'' cried Zoku as he raised his sword to lay down the final strike. However out of nowhere Kuroichi pulled out the Night Amethyst...saying a quick chant Zoku was suddenly blinded in an everlasting darkness. ''What the hell is this...'' lost in his confusion, Kuroichi was already up and slashing at the defenseless Zoku. Still being able to sense Kuroichi's energy he could judge where the swing of the katana was coming from...he could block the attacks. However Kuroichi was too fast for his senses...and jabbed the blade into his side. The pain was immense...far more than Zoku could handle and so he feel to his knees. ''How does that feel...'' as Kuroichi twisted the blade in his old friends side...at the same time he was forming the Blood-Steal claws in his other hand... ''This is the end im afraid...'' letting the spell over Zoku's eyes fade...I want you to look at my eyes before you die Zoku...cause it will be the last thing you will ever see... Zoku looked up at Kuroichi's burning red eyes as he began coming down in full force with his claws, going for the kill...but Zoku put up his sword to deflect the attack. However not strong enough to block it, his Wild Wind Sword broke apart from the impact and the claws went ripping into the flesh of Zoku's right thigh. Falling to the ground...Zoku caught himself with his right hand and pushed up with all his might shotting his right foot out at Kuroichi catching him in the sternum yet again sending him to the ceiling. Jumping up to continue the attack...Zoku leaped with his one good leg to deliever another blow...but Kuroichi countered sending out almost hundreds of blood darts out. With Zoku's momentum carrying him right into the path of the darts...he gathered his aura around him trying to create a barrier. Despite deflecting many of the darts away...not able to penetrate the shield...Zoku's stength left him yet again for but a moment sending 6 darts straight into his left lung blowing him back down to the ground. Scalling the walls...Kuroichi again began to mock the fallin warrior. Stalking him in the darkness as Zoku's aura began to fade. Trying to crawl away from him...Zoku felt in the sand of the stone floor his shotgun...Fully Loaded!...yes... Waiting for his enemy to be upon him...Kuroichi didn't anticipate the shots as Zoku unloaded round after round at him. With each shot Zoku slowly got to his feet as Kuroichi began to fall to his knees. As the port to the shotgun became empty... ''Your out...too bad...'' smirked Kuroichi, however feeling weak from the battle, he began healing himself...''you can't kill me Zoku...every time i get wounded...I will regenerate.'' Laughing at the victory that was soon to be his... ''You may not keep the wounds Kuroichi...but you still feel the pain...'' A shock came upon Kuroichi as he listened to his own words being played back to him before he killed the Il Signore... ''You and I are more alike that I thought Zoku...'' It's a shame that you chose this path...we could be great...you and I.'' But Zoku wasn't listening...he was already preparing his ultimate attack.... God...I call upon you now...lend me your strength Gaia...to vanquish that which threatens all life on this earth. I give myself now to your will...strike this enemy down with your might...! Slowly Zoku's aura grew brighter and brighter as he felt his strength returning to him...he could feel the power of the earth forming within him...taking in all the KI around him...even taking in some evil evergy from the crypt itself. Kuroichi could only watch for he still needed to regenerate from the shotgun blasts. The crypt began to shack...the ceiling above them began to fall apart and crumble... ''NOW...BEGONE!''cried Zoku as he placed both arms together in front of him shooting out a tremendous KI beam right at Kuroichi...he could feel his skin crisping due to the energies light...and out of an act of desperation Kuroichi formed a powerful blood barrier around him protecting himself from the blast. The entire crypt was destroyed...with the ceiling reveiling the night sky with the earth surrounding the underground tomb. Only the entrance to the ancient tomb remained. Emerging from his shell...Kuroichi took into account all that was around him now. But there was no sign of Zoku...realizing that it was safe...Kuroichi went to the corner where Zoku threw the Sapphire and picked it up. All of a sudden Kuroichi say Zoku only feet away above him falling towards him with the remains of his sword...''IT ENDS NOW!'' But before the attack could be done, out of nowhere a blade came crashing into Zoku's already damaged left lung flinging him straight into the surrounding wall next to Kuroichi. The impact was so great the blade stuck into the earth leaving Zoku to hang there. Out of the darkness of the night...appeared Abaddon. ''He was mine...'' cried out Kuroichi. Abaddon jumped down into the ruined crypt...confronting the Silver-Haired Demon. Kuroichi slapped him to the ground in discust...''I should kill you for that Abaddon...I told you not to interfer...'' and yet Abaddon lay silent...looking up now at the swinging body in the air... Did I just kill the soul of an innocent...have I helped evil...not good...My God what have I done? Abaddon trying to figure out if what he did was right or wrong. ''No matter...we now have the Sapphire...and you Abaddon will get the Dark Moonstone for me as well. An act of faith...to see if you are prepared for what new things I am to tell you of yourself; fallen angel...*looking up at Zoku's body* it's been fun...better luck in your next lifetime.'' The two vampires walked through the entrance to the Dark Moonstones hiding place decending down the staircase. Looking at the Sapphire, Kuroichi had a large grin on his face, the gem had such a magnificant shade of blue on it with the engraving of a skull on its face...I now have three of the Ijuuj gems... he thought to himself... Taking the gem in his palm...he closed his hand trying to take in its incredible power. However the gem just crumbled in his grasp...turning into dust. What's wrong Kuroichi...? Its a fake...its a fake...it was all a trick....ZOKU! In his rage Kuroichi raced back up the staircase...only to find Zoku's body missing... *** Arron- you thought the last post was long huh:) ULX- I don't mind at all that people take control over my characters...I hope that battle was good for all of ya...put a little bit of work into it... demonchild781
"Such a clever boy," Kietha smiled from her place in her tree. "Such an amazing battle." Kietha paused for a moment to slid from her perch as she watched Kuroichi storm to the surface again. She had sent her shadows amongst the cave to watch the battle as she stayed safely in her perch out of harm's way and out of sight. Zoku's blast nearly brought her into play, but Kietha was a little quicker than that. This whole ordeal fasinated her beyond words and she was overwhelmed at the thought of two such powerful advisories. She enjoyed watching them exchange attacks, but what if they did join forces. Eh, foolish thoughts. Kietha brought her head in the direction Zoku had raced off. Kuroichi was still browing over the recent trick as Kietha left the sign to follow the badly wounded Zoku. OOC: I know its short, its suppose to be. Just wanted to give the hint that Kietha is wondering about watching the happenings. Later ya'll
Kairi
Shifting his feet every so slightly across the sandy plain...Zoku was leaving a trail of blood gushing out from his wounds on his left lung as well as from his right thigh. Limping like a old cripple, he lost more and more blood...finally collapsing on his face craving for air. Saliva poured out of his mouth mixing in with the sand as he desparitly attempting to crawl further away from the site with his one good arm and leg. The night air was cold upon his bare back...a terrible headache and nausia came to him as if it were a plague on his mind. A sickness came to his gut as he tried again, wheezing and coughing...gasping for air. He couldn't crawl anymore...darkness began to cover his eyes. But it wasn't what he thought...surfacing from the blackness of the earth arose a dark figure. His face was grey, an elder...but his true strength that Zoku felt was incredible. ''My dear boy...where do you think you are going...?'' surprisingly the voice was very calm and friendly. ''I must escape...mu...s....t.......get.....awa.....y'' Zoku was now at the brink of death...lossing himself to the darkness surrounding him. ''This place isn't safe for you old man...he is coming.'' ''I know he is...''the voice now coming to that of a whisper. ''Do you know who I am my boy...'' with a slight smirk on his...''I am the Master of Darkness...you are safe now.'' Zoku lifted one eyelid in attempt to look at the man standing above his crippled badly wounded body in amazement. ''I have a gift for you young man...'' El Capitan de Obscuridad reached into the pockey of his nice long robe...and pulled out a black stone. ''i believe this is what you seek...'' ''I have no use for it now elder...I've lost...and am soon to pass.'' ''No no no...you must live...*whispering into his Zoku's ear* the last of the hunters must live'' now standing back up''...besides...I saw your battle from amongst the shadows, as well as others...there is hope for us yet and we were most impressed by your skills...you're one tough cookie.*chuckling* You did well my son... cheer up...against impossible odds you wounded that vile creature. Heck...you may have even won if it weren't for you being cheated like that...'' a harsh chuckle came upon the elder at the thought of Kuroichi's demise. The elder placed the dark moonstone in Zoku's hand and wrapped it tight in his fist... ''The score is now two to two...keep them hidden....keep them safe my friend.'' ''But what about my wou.....'' ''ah ah...rest now...you will be taken care of...but for now...heed my words human...do not use the power of the moonstone nor the skull sapphire until the opportune moment...your soul is not yet ready...for now, keep them away from Kuroichi's reach.'' ''But.......*gasping for air*...what about you elder...without the moonstone you will loss your powers and will fall to Kuroichi...'' ''My powers have grown far beyond the capabilities of that rock my dear boy...there is no more use for it for me...by themselves they are a formadable advantage in battle...but if all combined as one...all of us will become endangered to Kuroichi's lust for advancement amongst the clans...I will keep Kuroichi occupied while you make your escape...but first...let me tell you a secret not even Kuroichi knows... *telepathically a message was sent between the two minds so that no other could here them...* ''now...to heal your wounds...'' Coming to one knee the elder took out a vile of holy water, placing it onto Zoku's lips...lifting his head up in order to drink from the vile. The taste was sweet to his lips as Zoku gradually felt his KI returning to him...his wounds began to heal themselves...however not fully. ''That should be enough for you to escape...go back to your hotel room in Granada...there is a present there waiting for you as well. I don't know what it is...but it seemed to be sent from one of the Gwyar...however, beware human...there are shadows among you...I do not know if they are for good nor evil...so be well.'' As Zoku stood up...trying to find himself again, lossing his balance feeling his renewed strength...he turned around to thank the stranger...but in an instant he was gone. Not taking time to ponder or worry...Zoku ran as fast as he could back westward towards Granada... I should stay low for a while...not to draw attention to myself...I need rest...I cannot have another battle like that for a time... he thought to himself...kicking up dirt as he sprinted across the fields as if he were the wind itself. demonchild781
Kietha gave a light chuckle as she lowered herself from the railing onto the floor of the balacony. The large doors were left unlock making it very easy for Kietha to make her way in. "What a cozy little apartment," Kietha smiled as she slid the doors closed behind her. The small moonlight flitering into the main room allowed Kietha to see everything as if it were mid-day. There were various bags laying about the room, some starting to fall over from all the random searching. The bed was unmade, but retatively the hotel room seemed well kept. "Hmm, where to start." Kietha looked around the room and at the two doorways on either side of her. "Let's see what are friendly little human likes to eat." Kietha turned gently towards the kitchen and enter it with soft, tender feet. Opening all the caboards and draws and the appilances, Kietha discovered nothing in them. "So he likes to eat out, hmm." She smiled slightly as she made her way back into the main room again. The soft, thick carpet allowed her nearly naked feet to sink into it as she quietly made her way across the room towards the bathroom. Upon opening the door, Kietha saw the remains of the small mirror that hung above the white porcilen sink. "Tisk tisk, some one has a little bit of an anger problem." Kietha carefully made her way into the small bathroom to examine the contents. The tub and shower was covered in a fine line of dirt, some one hadn't taken a shower in a rather long time. After her examination, Kietha made her way back into the main room. "A faint prefume, maybe clone. But it is not of a human stench." Kietha closed her eyes and took a very deep breath through her nose. "It is vampire. Some one was here before I." Kietha began to search the main room in an almost frantic manner. She pulled things from the various bags finding nothing of real interest in them and then shifted through drawers. "What's this?" Kietha ran her hand over a hard cover book. Its smooth surface told her that it was old, even ancient. She pulled it from beneath the little clothing that was in the drawer to see a rather thick book. The cover seemed new enough, but the pages that seemed to be stuffed inside were not. She carefully opened it to see the very old wrinkle pages bound together with thick leather string. On the inside cover were a list of names in various languages, some of them Kietha could recogonize. She scanned through them briefly before turning her head to look at the first page. "Hebrew?" Kietha spoke softly to herself as she looked over the first entry. "And read like those from Japan. Curious. "It was a hot spring day in my home town. Mother was in the house doing the laundry and Father was out on the streets trying to feed us. I was out in the stables cleaning once more. I hate it out there. Them horses stink so bad." Kietha read out loud from the journal. There was some flicker of something and it drew Kietha's attention from the journal. She sat the journal on the dresser and stalked over to the bed. Two beautifully crafted blades lay in perfect symmetry on the bed and under them a sweet little note. Kietha chuckled as she pulled the note up and began to read it: "Zoku, I have recieved your message and we are all taking action agains't this new uprising of Kuroichi's again. I have heard of your battle with Kuroichi and I have decided to give you these scimitars. ''Fate it seems...is not without a sense of irony.'' During the first war of the hunters against Kuroichi...when you were in league with him. There was a lone hunter who stood in Kuroichi's path...and you killed him...here are his blades. Now I ask you...to stand against Kuroichi yet again...and to preserve balance. Stay low and safe, while we prepare for war. Leader of the Gwyar" "So Zoku has the gracious of the Gwyar. How cute." Kietha smiled at the note, tucking it back under the swords. A gentle breeze swept over Kietha's body and she instinctively closed her eyes. A gentle smile creased her face as she allowed her eyes to slide open once more. She turned her head to the front door to watch Zoku make his way into the room. He didn't even notice the assasin as he shut the door and dragged his very tired body towards his bed. "Might want to be careful, wouldn't want to hurt yourself on these finely crafted gifts of yours." Kietha spoke up just before Zoku rolled onto his bed. He stood straight in fright as he took in the assasin's sight. "Oh, don't be so frightened," Kietha chuckled at him. "I may be a vampire, but I was born human. Not to meantion that I have a warriors soul. I never take advantage of the weak...well unless they're a weak vampire." She looked towards the sky in a playful manner as she walked around the bed. "Who are you?" Zoku nearly yelled. "And how did you get in here?" "The same way they did." Kietha pointed towards the bed. Zoku took a few glances at Kietha as he picked up the note and read the note. "Making a few alliances I see." Kietha smiled at him. "But I think you should heal yourself before we find what really makes you tick." Keitha backed up almost like a leaf in the wind, swept the book of the dresser and held it up to Zoku. "I'll be borrowing this," she gave a slight chuckle again. He made an attempt to grab the book as she swept by him towards the balacony. "We shall meet again my fair human wanderer." Keitha smiled as she slide through the doors and vanished into the night.
Onix
Fools...fools, the lot of them... Kuroichi sat in the hull of the boat headed to the northern coast of Italy. He had to move fast, move smart. France and Italy were dangerous places to be. Yet he had to get to Germany. The Emerald of Corpses would give him the power necessary to take down the final two...and Zoku. I will crush that pathetic human...I will destroy the Ijuuj...I will take the gems...I will win. Night Rider was dangerous...The King of Death was the greatest Kerlek of them all. But the Leader of Corpses was an easy target. The Master of Darkness was none of Kuroichi's concern now that the Moonstone rested with Zoku. He has taken the Sapphire and the Moonstone, eh? Well, the Emerald, the Pearl, and the Diamond will be mine! The insolent human will die. Abaddon will die. Night Rider will die. All who oppose me must die. Switzerland was his target. A quick run through the narrow patch of land that was Italy and he would be safe...no Ijuuj, no police. And once he passes through Switzerland...the Emerald was his for the taking. The was a slight flutter of cloth, almost inaudible. The glowing eyes shone like embers in the pitch black. "Master, the Emerald is in Brussels. A team will be waiting in Switzerland to escort you." "Thank you, Agrad." The shadowy warrior disappeared as silently as he arrived. Kuroichi was again alone in the shadows. Alone...how he lived his life. The death of his siblings. His mother. His father. Himself. He was as utterly alone as anyone in the world. No one to lean on, no one to trust, to believe would help him in his time of need. Only allies, subordinates. The Krilat Zmaj, the Gyshram, those were his only comforts. His power. His allies. He was alone, so he had to be strong. He was alone, so he had to be tough. He was alone, so he had to be bitter and cruel and self-sufficient. He was a leader, a ruler, a solitary God in a sea of mortals tied by blood and love. Nothing could hold him back but himself. And he had no intention of holding himself back. They will pay. The human will die for leaving, for stealing from me, for injuring me. The angel will die for leaving, for scoffing, for threatening a God. The Ijuuj will die, the Clans will die, and I will rule them all. A silent resolution in an empty room. A promise to one, and one alone. A God's solemn vow in the blackest abyss. *** Just a little insight into Kuroichi's character. Kairi
...Zoku was lost in bewilderment... Feeling half-dead...his mortal wounds acking from the stress...he could barely keep his eyes open bracing himself with one arm on the bed... I can't believe I forgot there was such beauty in the world... he thought to himself...those great green-amber eyes imprinted on his mind. There was a calming eligance about them...and yet a sense of power and control within... What a power the woman must have over her prey...pitty she's a vampire... a slight sigh and laughter came upon him....however not for long...the thought vanished and gone for the pain in his lung, thigh and side intensified to the laughter. He collapsed to both his knees at the edge of the bed as the moonlight shined through the open window illuminating the entire room. He looked up at fullmoon, with his eyes glowing an incredible shade of blue...a sparkle of that of a star. There is such beauty in the world... realizing to himself...the thought giving him strength to arise back to his feet. He stared at the two scimitars in curiosity as he read the note that the female vampire had showed him. What was her name... Taking in the words of the Gwyar...he realized that he wasn't safe in this hotel room anymore. It seemed an eternity for him to get his cloths on...pulling out a black muscle shirt and a silky looking black button up shirt...leaving it unbottoned...he changed his pants, taking out the moonstone and placing into his new pair of black pants and putting on a set of training gloves. Constantly stopping to gasp for air...Zoku grabbed his spare shotgun from underneath the bed and strapped the two scimitars to his belt buckle...instantly a rush of power over came him...but just as quickly, it left him. Why would he give these to me... Not capable to comprehend it due to his weakened state...he began limping to the door, leaving all of his other belongs behind. Why did she have to take the damn book... Stopping at the door...a rush of the nights events came to him. As if it were being played back to him as like a movie. Things have been moving so quickly lately...the war has begun........I need a vacation...I'm getting to old for this shit... He couldn't help but laugh at himself for his remark...but yet again...the pain overtook him however, but he caught himself on the door. Taking in as much of a deep breath as he could...he willed himself to open to the door...leaning against the walls of the hallway he skidded himself to the elevator. The blood may have stopped flowing from him, but the damage had already been done... I'm sorry my old friend...*his spirit going out to Kuroichi*...I never ment for any of this to happen between us. I do miss the old days together...but...I guess that will never be now...we both have made our moves...no turning back... a slight tear came from his eye... After some time of walking...Zoku found himself outside the city walls walking back into the wilderness in which he came from... It's your war now Kuroichi...however strong I have become...you are right...I am only human...it is now your time... Zoku could smell the essense of the forest...mystifing as it was...as homely as it was, the energies of the earth flowing through him like running water...he never liked being alone...the solitary of it all...but he knew he had no choice. Turning back to the infinite lights of the city of Garanda...Spains city of love... he yearned to be comforted by the world in all its pleasures again. To go back to the world of man...and live again. To not have the burden of his evil resting on his back anymore...how tired he was of being torn....to be cursed... But not yet.....not yet.... Rubbing his vampire scar on his neck...he turned his back to the city... to the war...on the clans...on Kuroichi...and his dream; all of it... the desire to know his place...to find...............a home. Clinching the moonstone in his hand with a rush of rage and sorrow... walking into the myst of the forest...closing his eyes as he entered, breathing deep in order to calm himself in his emotions...he uttered a soothing phrase under his breath as his hair was blown over his eyes as well as his shirt getting caught within the slight breeze that came from around him. I will return............. *** You won't have me to worry about anymore ULX...the emerald is yours...Zoku now takes a little leave from the war...but is not completely gone. I'm letting others get into the mix more...like u said Dragonblood isn't much into it, and hopefully the other people will too as well...you can still use Zoku if u wish...just realize that he isn't in the mix as much as searching for the gems goes until he arises again to do battle. Cause since he's still human...needs a little R & R ya know:)...the Sapphire is hidden while the Moonstone stays with Zoku...(please dont take it) 2 thougths... one-are u all starting to see the bond that Kuroichi and Zoku once had... two-if this is a war...we need more battles...more blood...unleash your armies Kuroichi:)
DragonBlood
ooc: yes, unleshes your armies so I can summon Demons to slaughter them  IC: Arron was sitting on one of the castle walls, the night sky was clear and he simply looked out at it all, the world that would soon be devestated. Nothing was happening, the other Kerlecks wouldn't come, Arron knew this, they would get tied up in this war that was starting and Kuroichi would go to each in turn and take what he was serching for. They have become arrogant fools. Arron thought to himself. The Kerlecks will get us all killed. A shadow passed acrossed Arrons face, Some things must be done on ones own, like saving the world. Arron stood and lept off the wall, landing softly he made his way to the room that the black wolf was in. "Come here Fang." Arron summoned the wolf, whos ears perked up slightly befor he stood. "You need to do something to save the Clan, to save your master." The dogs ears perked up, its head cocked to one side. It looked around the room as if it was serching for some one else besides Arron. Then it stood up and followed Arron out of the hall. Arron stood next to his horse, leaning down to check the chain around the wolfs neck, there hung a large gold locket, inside Arron knew, was the gem. Few knew that the gem was kept on the dogs chain, the Kerlecks and Arron, and a few other high guards. Most of the others would be dead once Kuroichi arived. The dog though, the dog would do what ever it took to save the clan, even if it ment leaving his master and stealing the gem. Arron mounted his horse, "Come on Fang..." OOC: Hum, guess who dosen't know were the gem is? Just to make it more fun (since I wasn't doing any thing.)
demonchild781
"These damn vikings...why can't they leave me alone...I feel the burning inside of me again...it has been taking hold of me for quite sometime now. I'm sorry mother...but I can't help myself. Death is all around me...why can't I stop. Oh all those years ago when you died mother...I'm still looking...for that one. I just love to kill...to slaughter the weak. If only for a moment I feel joy due too their suffering. They should feel my own...I will...*a slight scribble* (due to his evil taking hold again)..." Keitha read to herself before closing the hardcovered journal once more. She sat comfortably in her own quarters amongst the Gyshram clan. Her small room held a bed, a dresser and a desk. Nothing to extreme, just enough to live with. She reached up and touched a large brick with her finger tips. It slid back and clanked as it allowed a larger stone to open. She slid the journal within and paused before removing her hand again. Her eyes were caught on the small dagger and picture that lay inside. Kietha gave a deep sigh, remembering why she kept the picture turned around. It was hard for her to bare with the fact that her lover was now gone, dead to never return to her again. She reached in, trying to keep her hand steady as she pulled the picture frame from the hole. She sat back on her bed, leaning her back against the wall. Taking another deep sigh, Kietha pulled the frame back and took in the sight she had longed to forget. She smiled suddenly, remembering how nice mordern pictures were. The invention of the camera was amazing and she silently wished that she could have a real photo of the man that not only loved her, but had changed her life. The painting was old, very old, but she could still remember him as if he had only left that morning. Standing above her at an amazing 6'3", extremely tall for the time period. He was the perfection of that time. He was well built, powerful muscle running through him and a bright smile to flaunt his perfectly etched face. Beautiful blue eyes sparkled back at her and thick black hair hung around his shoulders. She could remember the soft, silky feel of that hair when she use to run her fingers through it. His medievel grab lay loosely on his chest and shoulders, hiding the soft, delicate skin and the perfection of his muscles. He was a sight to be hold, even in such an old painting. Kietha reached out and tenderly ran her finger across the man's face. "Oh how I miss you Serio." Kietha whispered. Kietha brought her thoughts back to the day she watched Serio leave her. **** It was around 500 years ago, probably less than that. A battle raged between an extremely young vampire and another young vampress. The battle seemd to be even on both sides. The woman had dealt a few heavy blows and the man had returned them. The tides seemed to not be wavering either way. "Your far more talented than I first thought," the woman said as she brought herself to a stop after a recent attack. "And you," the boy answered. "But this needs to end now." The boy rushed forward, colliding with the woman's blade but before she could recover from the heavy attack, the boy swirled around and sank his sword deep into her side. The woman let out a scream of such and rushed from the attack. Almost black blood rushed from her wound as she stumbled around the rocky terrian in an attempt to keep her balance. "Time for you to die!" the boy shouted. He rushed forward sword held behind his head as he prepared to take the woman's life. The woman closed her eyes, holding herself up with her sword barried in the earth. There was a sudden gust of wind and the woman closed her eyes tightly shut awaiting her fate, when she heard a loud clang. Her eyes flew open to see a man before her, the boy's sword rubbing against his sword. "Let's make a deal, Kuroichi." The man said calmly. "What would that be, Serio?" The boy answered almost angrily. "Fight me for your throne--." "No, Serio. You mustin!" The woman shouted. The man turned around to look at her, "but I must, Kietha." He smiled at her lightly and focused back on the boy. "And leave Kietha out of this. She has done nothing to you." "In return I get your blood and your power...I like that." Kuroichi replied. "We have a deal, Serio." As Kietha watched helplessly on the ground the battle between the 1000 year old vampire and the boy raged on. It seemed all of eternity had wanted for this battle to end. As the older vampire began to weaken, the younger one took advantage of it. Sending his marvelous blade through Serio's chest. Kietha screamed as she darted to her feet. Serio turned his head around to look at her whispering the words "I love you" as his body fell to the earth, shattering to dust. Kietha fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face. Kuroichi looked at her, a strange look creasing his face before he vanished into the night. **** There was a sudden knock on the door that brought Kietha back to the present. "Yes?" she replied, chocking down her soft tears. "The Gyshram Lord beckons you to his side, my lady." A voice called through the door. "I shall be there in a moment." She replied. She waited until the man left her entrance before staring back down at the painting. She ran the back of her fingers across the man's face before getting up and placing the picture back into the hole. She slid her finger tips gently across the smaller stone and watched as the hole vanished behind. She pulled herself together, tied her sword to her waist and made her way towards the throne room. Kairi
In the middle of the country in Greece; within the walls of a great manor. A meeting is being held with most of the high Gwyar leaders. ''My Lord...Kuro......'' ''DO NOT EVER SPEAK THAT NAME IN MY PRESENCE AGAIN'' yelled Dracula; bashing his fist into the large wooden table. The sanctuary was lite up with a massive amount of torches surrounding the entire room. Dark and gloomy, there was only a single table with chairs in the center of the room. Up to nine vampires were seated while the tenth, Dracula, was thrusting his fist into the firm oak table. ''Calm yourself my son, that pour table has been through enough throughout the centuries.'' ''My master, we cannot just simply allow this reckless vampire to gather all the gems. The implications of this situations may be devistating to us.'' As always, Caine was his usual self; calm, firm, and viligant. The first true immortal...cursed by God for the blood spilt by his hands to his brother Abel. ''Father...the Kerleks of the Ijuuj are not moving in response to this crisis. The Fang Boss who keeps the Pearl Fang was alerted all of England. However the rest of them are naive and arrogant. They believe that they can hold up against the Krilat Zmaj.'' ''I understand your concern Dracula; but the matter at hand is more delicate than you realize. I am not yet prepared to create another war amongst my children. *Dracula relaxes himself in his rage upon hearing his masters words and sits down* The Silver-Haired Demon has not yet revield his forces...thus I will not reviel my own and move against him, he wants us to be afraid, but I will not give him such satisfaction...nor shall I impose my will on the Ijuuj, nor any other clan...have we heard from the Myrkur Aniol?'' ''No...we have not father...'' came forth LeStat in a very dissapointing, and yet unfazed tone. ''They are as usual...silent. Maybe Dracula is right...maybe it is time for the Gwyar, and for you father to take your rightful place at the head of all clans. To crush this foe before he becomes an even greater threat...*LeStat now rising from his chair as the other elders rallied up* ''Silence!'' Caine said with a harsh and yet still firm tone...his voice echoed through the sanctuary sending a nerve of shock...a sense of obediance came from hearing his words, causing all the elder vampires to hold their tongues and seated in there seats. ''It is my blood that flows through your veins my children; and I will decide what is right for this councel to follow through. Your concerns are noted, but do not faulter so easily to this new threat...this meeting is over.'' All the vampires rose from their seats and exited the sanctuary...while LeStat and Dracula hindered behind from the rest...moving amongst the shadows. ''Dracula, the clan is in a state of unrest...something must be done.'' ''I agree...the councel is divided, and father is hell bent on keeping neutral until we are attacked directly...I do not doubt his judgement...nor should you young one...but we cannot simply sit here and do nothing. And with Elizabeth and Erald missing...this clan is being held together by that of only a thread.'' ''I believe you are right...and I have something to propose to you...but we must act swiftly...if we are to bring down Caine; to take rule over the Gwyar.'' Miles away in the middle of nowhere... It's towards the late afternoon...and Zoku is just waking up from his bed. Was about a week ago that Zoku had returned to his little cottage in the woods. About a mile away to the east was a waterfall with a large lake at its base. The area was full of wildlife...with shades of light shining through the think leaves up above. For the past week, all that he has done is rest, train, and eat. Taking in the fresh air of the pine and oak...he steps outside feeling a rush of warmth in the surroundings. This will be a good day... he thought to himself. Putting just pants on...he took his scimitars and the moonstone with him. Recovering from his injuries, and training with his new blades...he felt no recollection, nor worry for the outside world. He felt at peace with this kind of solitary. Enabling to take time for himself to grow. It was his own world... to be in his element with nature. Everyday he felt his strength returning to him...but no where near his full capacity. Zoku began walking along the dirt path, seeing different creatures and plants on his way to gather food for his meal...turning back to look at his cabin. He witnessed the simplicity of it all. I slight drift of smoke coming from the chimney where his fire was burning...preparing for the stew that he was about to make. As he stood there...taking in the moment...he felt a sudden shift in the earths energy...Someone is here... Yielding his scimitars...ready for battle...he let out a slight sigh... Was good while it lasted I guess...why couldn't they just leave me alone?
Onix
"Mein Gott in Himmel!" The wall exploded in a cloud of stone and crumbling mortar. Ten figures walked in, nine swathed in heavy cloaks, the tenth standing calmly in front, silver hair shining. "Tonight, we take the next step towards victory. Tonight, my Krilat Zmaj, we take the Emerald! Ike!" "Yosh!" The nine Krilat Zmaj rushed in, cutting a swathe through the Ijuuj soldiers. The German Vampires fought harshly, but the skilled Japanese swordsmen decimated the enemy force. Blood rained down upon the cobblestones of the old road, and not a drop came from the foreigners. "Halt ihn!" roared the Ijuuj commander. Vampires charged Kuroichi, skirting around the nine soldiers to take down their leader. They almost reached the Silver Haired Demon, when the fierce purple glow of the Amethyst surrounded him. The energy exploded out, flinging the Vampires back. The blood of their fallen comrades rsoe up and impaled them on spikes. "Die Silbern Behaart Dämon!" "Verkehren!" "Beeilen!" "Er Wille erschlagen Sie!" Golden bolts of energy shot out, tearing through the retreating soldiers. Rocks and walls exploded in shards of stone. Some soldiers fell from shattered bones, others exploded, and yet more fell from pieces of earth. Kuroichi laughed as the soldiers fled in fear. He commanded his own warriors with a single word. "Korosu!" Screams echoed through the night. *** With a metallic scream, the massive iron doors flew off their hinges. They fell to the ground with a massive crash. Standing in the doorway were ten figures. One, hulking and swathed in a black cloak, he his hand out. "Very good, Doppo," said Kuroichi. "Arigatou, Kuroichi-dono," replied Doppo. The ten walked into the large, empty room. Torches flared to life, revealing a man even more massive than Doppo, sitting on a dark stone throne. Heavy black plate-mail covered his muscular body. He stared out with icy blue eyes, his short hair steel-gray. Hanging around his neck was a large emerald. "Konban wa, Die Fuhrer von Leichen," Kuroichi said, with false good humor. "And how are you tonight?" "Guten Abend, Kuroichi," replied Die Fuhrer. "So, you need nine subordinates and two gems to defeat me?" "The subordinates were to defeat your ample forces, Die Fuhrer," Kuroichi said calmly. "The gems are just insurance. I won't use mine if you don't use yours." "Agreed." The hulking Kerlek rose from his cobalt throne, lifting a huge halberd from beside the chair. The blade glinted in the torch-light. It was easily twice the Kerlek's height. Kuroichi, in return, stepped foreward, drawing Shinku no Umi. Gray met blue as they locked eyes. With no warning, they moved. Die Fuhrer's halberd slashed out at Kuroichi, but the smaller man rolled under the blade, slashing at his opponent's midsection. Die Fuhrer stepped back, the tip of Kuroichi's katana glancing off his armor. Kuroichi pressed on, forcing Die Fuhrer back to his throne. Shinku no Umi rang out against Die Fuhrer's armor in a never ending storm of cuts. "You're losing your edge, Die Fuhrer," Kuroichi laughed. "Perhaps I should show you what it feels like to still have one!" With incredible strength, Kuroichi's blade dug through Die Fuhrer's armor, biting into the large man's side. He fell back, holding his halberd in front of him in a defensive stance. "How could that butter knife slice my armor?" "Because it is the strongest blade ever forged, and it is wielded by the strongest man ever born." Kuroichi's katana flashed in the torch-light, moving almost too quickly to be seen. Die Fuhrer was barely able to defend himself against it's tempered edge. Chips of iron flew from his halberd as Shinku no Umi hacked through it. "Your pride is your end, Die Fuhrer!" With a final thrust, Shinku no Umi stabbed through Die Fuhrer's chest plate, piercing his sternum. The hulk fell to the ground, gasping for breath. "I've punctured your lung," Kuroichi explained. "You don't have long to live. Summon up your corpses and maybe you can win." "We made a deal, and I will not fail to uphold it! That is the way of honor!" "I used to believe in honor," Kuroichi said sadly. "But now, I realize that it is the fools way to go. Arrogant old fools like you deserve to die!" Shinku no Umi lived up to its name as Die Fuhrer's blood rushed out like a crimson sea. The thick red ochre poured out of the gash in his throat, and he fell to the ground, dead once more. Kuroichi lifted the heavy gem from around his head. "My soldiers, we leave. Just two more Gems to go."
Orcus
OOC: Heh, I know I went AWOL on you guys and for that I apologize. But I finally got the chance to post, so I knew that should be my top priority (sp?). IC: A week ago... Kyu had awoken the next morning after Kay'liel and Chienzeru had been ambushed in a cold sweat, for he had had nightmares the night before. One of many fierce battles between Vampires of different clans. He knew that he would need to visit his "father", Dracula. He needed to be consoled, and only Dracula could provide him with wise words. He set off for Greece, knowing that the Elder vampires would be meeting. Present day.... Kyu pulled his cloak tightly around his body. He gazed down at the manor, smiling. My brethren... His smile grew wider as he watched the elder vampires emerge from the manor. His smile dropped from his face as he noticed that the elders were uneasy and appeared dismayed. He made haste and ran to meet the elders before they left. Kyu slid right in front of the elders, straightened himself out, and then bowed. The elders greeted him warmly, "Kyu! Where have you been? We've missed you greatly. We were afraid you had been attacked or worse...." A familiar voice emanated from behind the others, "Did you really think Kyu would allow himself to be attacked? After the training I gave him?" Kyu was overcome with joy, "Dracula!" He ran over to his mentor, his father, and embraced him. Dracula laughed, "Emotional today, aren't we?" Kyu smiled up at him, tears in his eyes. Dracula, LeStat, and Kyu went back to Dracula's castle to talk. Dracula and LeStat told Kyu of what had been discussed during the meeting. Kyu sighed, "Unrest, hmm? It does seem we have quite the problem on our hands..." He turned to LeStat, "So you propose we get rid of Caine?" LeStat nodded. Kyu slumped in his chair, deep in thought. Would that be the best for the clan? His thoughts were interrupted by the large front doors swinging open. A female figured walked in and dropped her bag. Kyu recognized her instantly. "Beth!" She smiled at him, "Hello, Kyu. It's been too long." He ran over and embraced her. Dracula chuckled, "You sure have gotten emotional, Kyu." Kyu turned and laughed, "It's just so great to see you all again. It's been ages." Kyu and Beth walked back over to the lving room and sat down. Beth was filled on the recent events. She sighed, obviously as troubled as Kyu, "I don't know if taking Caine out of the picture will be best..." The four sat there in silence, each pondering what they felt was best to do. Kyu spoke up, "At any rate, whatever we do we must do swiftly. We cannot allow Kuroichi," Dracula scowled at the name,"to collect any more gems."
Ezekiel
OOC Reizou, you are the best ^_~ Beth sighed deeply and blew some strands of light blue hair form her face, resting her chin lightly on her entwined fingers, her posture loosing it's usual elegance as she slumped closer to the table. Kyu looked at her and then to Dracula, he had a worried look in his eyes, as did the other members of the Gywar clan that had gathered. Beth opened her mouth to speak but then shut it again. She received a stare form Dracula and shook her head, casting her gaze to the far wall. With that Dracula stood and looked at the girl, "You have an idea, let us hear it." Beth shook her head and smiled up at her master, "I don't think it would work..." she muttered politely, bowing her head to the undead before her. "Beth, I think we can embrace any options at the moment," Kyu spoke up, "We're at a low for ideas..." Beth nodded and stood up, taking a sweeping bow to her friend and elders. "I have heard certain things about Kuroichi pertaining his...weakness..." at this the men around Beth jumped to their feet, one elder slammed his hands onto the table. "Well if he has a weakness why didn't you speak up sooner, girl?" Beth flinched and sunk back in her chair, appreciating Kyu's strong hand on her shoulder for comfort, "But like I said, it may not work..." Dracula sighed wearily and sat back down, leaning his head back against the high back of his chair, "Just out with it, girl." Beth nodded and leaned in, balling her hands into fists, "Kuroichi knows nothing of me as I've managed to keep a low profile, I've heard that he has a weakness for women in particular and if we can exploit that flaw..." "You?re willing to sacrifice yourself for your clan?" "Very admirable..." Beth stuttered and looked shocked, "What!? No, I was going to suggest that--" She was cut off by a flat stare from Dracula, "I believe that you should go and get ready, it's about time you proved your worth to this clan." Beth hung her head and stood, I just had to open my mouth... OOC I believe that I nailed Kuroichi's only weakness, am I correct, ULX? ^_~
Kairi
''Hold your blades human...I wish only to talk.'' Out of the brush came a dark cloaked figure. Suddenly a pain spread through his chest where he is now marked with a scar from his battle with Kuroichi. And as the figure came closer to him...he glanced at the sword that was dangling at the strangers side. And Zoku's eyes widened and intensified with rage. The dark figure saw the intensity in his eyes and held up his hand...covered with a black glove. ''Please...I do not wish to kill you. You have information that I require. My name is Abaddon...one of the Myrkur Aniol.'' Lowering his scimitars...he still kept a staring glare at Abaddon. ''You were there in Madrid with Kuroichi...why should I trust the likes of you? You almost killed me...'' ''Yes...I have sinned, and wish to make ammends for my sin. My allegance is with neither Kuroichi nor the Gwyar as this war takes its face. I wish to learn more however about you...never have I seen a human such as yourself.'' As he picked up some vegetables from his local garden... ''Follow me...'' The two began walking back down the dirt trail back towards the cabin...as they walked in...Zoku began placing the potatoes, carrots, and celery into the stew. Abaddon made himself at home taking a seat at the kitchen table. As the stew began to boil...Zoku started closing all the blinds to the windows of the house...making it surprisingly dark, then setting up a candle on the kitchen table. ''Take off your cloak...I want too look at your face.'' Taking off the cloak...Zoku saw Abaddon's dark hair fall down...revieling a very pail complextion on his face with eyes black as night due to the darkness surrounding them. ''Are you hungry...'' ''Yes...please...thank you for your generosity. I'm surprised to see you give such kindness to me, despite what I have done.'' ''You are not the only one who tries to show goodness in the world. I forgive you of your sin...nothing to atone for vampire.'' Zoku brought two steaming bowls of stew to the table...as Abaddon took in his words... ''So...Abaddon...what is it that you wish to know?'' ''...what are you?'' For hours Zoku talked about his past. Immediately...he showed the bite mark on his neck to Abaddon. At first he was shocked...but Zoku explained to him his curse. The torment that he endures in his spirit. That of good and evil...and as he lived longer and longer...Zoku had learned to become numb, and able to control that side of him...becoming stronger and stronger as time went by...increasing in power due to his KI energies. ''So...once you find your attacker...you will be freed of your curse. But isn't it a good thing...to be able to have such power, knowing that you will never die?'' ''Would you be happy if such a rage lived inside of you Abaddon...would you be able to except the fact that sooner or later. Anything that you came to love and cheerish, you would destroy...'' At that comment...Abaddon sat quietly again as Zoku took both empty bowls to the sink to wash them with the bucket of water placed on the counter. As Zoku was washing the them... ''What would happen if you were bitten again...?'' Zoku suddently dropped the bowls smashing onto the floor shattering them both...he stand in silence. ''I mean...if it is your human side of you that holds you bound to this world, to your curse...why not live forever as an immortal, where you could become one with yourself...'' ''....because...because I would turn to Kuroichi's side once more; let me tell you another story Abaddon...my relationship with Kuroichi.'' as he turned from the sink, cleaning the broken bowls and taking a seat back at the table. *4 years ago...before the first great war* I was only a young one then....as powerful as I was...I was still mortal. My mind seemed like it was split in two...as a Hunter of the Japanese governemt...I hunted vampires for years. With no home to go too...I knew nothing better to do for myself. Then...one night...I was presented with a gift. In the city of Tokyo, I was hot on the trail to the headquarters of the Krilat Zmaj. Me and the members of my team suddenly ran into a pack of vampires...we all fought honorably, but one by one my comrades well. I had slain a dozen of them till they surrounded me. They seemed to never end...and I knew that my time had come...till I heard a loud voice speak, the vampires took a full stop on their advancement on me... ''I know you my boy...I've been watching you for quite some time now...'' as a dark figure emerged from behind the vicious vampires that surrounded me... ''Do not be afraid...I have something for you...'' and he pulled out a journal from his trench coat...''read'' As I flipped through the pages...I started to realize what they were...they were my journal entries scattered all over world through all of my past lives...he had found them all for me...and now was giving them too me... I sank to my knees and began to cry in an overwelming sense of joy... ''Boy...I wish to teach you my world. I see such potential in you...hopefully through you reading your journal you will come to understand yourself...now come...do not be afraid...I will not hurt you...'' ''Do you understand Abaddon, he was my teacher...it is because of him that I now can control this evil inside of me.'' ''But...things changed when the war ended.'' *3 years ago...a fight which would become the final battle in Japan* By this time I had advanced myself rapidly in Kuroichi's ranks...now in full control of my powers...I became his left hand man. We swept through the land like a plague. We were like best friends...even as a human he never turned me...but befriended me as one of their own. We killed together, we took the pleasures of the world together. Then we came to the most important battle of the war...on the deserted plains of Hiroshima.... The battle seemed in our favor...till one lone hunter opposed us, none of the Krilat Zmaj could bring him down...Kuroichi demanded for me to fight the warrior...after an intense battle I beheaded him. Taking off his helmet I broke at the sight of his face...it was my master...my mentor as a child. When I destroyed my village as a child, he was the only one who took me in. Realizing what I had done....and looking at what I had become...I ran away as fast as I could...never looking back. I took a glance at Kuroichi as he was doing battle with another vampire...and left him. ''Do you know Abaddon, that Kuroichi not only has the blood of Gabriel...but that of one of the greatest of us...Serio.'' ''No...it can't be true...'' ''Oh but it is...Serio stepped in to save the life of his loved one, 500 years ago against Kuroichi himself...I've never seen the vampress...but to die for her as he did...she must have been worth it. In doing so Kuroichi took all of Serio's powers and strengths...'' ''...the only reason Kuroichi withdrew that day at Hiroshima was because the other clans were now stepping in to stop the war, and his power was not great enough, even the combined strength of both Serio and Gabriel was not capable of bring down all the great houses...Kuroichi and his Krilat Zmaj ran away...to fight another day...and that day...is now upon us. Kuroichi is now gathering all the power that he can before he will do his final blow upon us all; soon, it will be too late for us all...it is only a matter of time.'' Abaddon had suddenly come upon a epiphany, and stood upright quickly from his chair.... ''Don't you see it Zoku...Kuroichi fears you...why do you think that he did not turn you. He was afraid that your power, once you turned would be too great for him to control.'' With a burst of anger...Zoku flipped over the wooden kitchen table and threw it at Abaddon...who easily, and swifly cut it in two halves with his sword. ''Do not tempt me so Abaddon!...I will not become one of you!'' ''Leave me...I will on hear another word from you angel...leave me be!'' Seeing that he had overstayed his welcome...Abaddon took his cloak from the ground and began to walk towards the door. Opening it he saw that is was now night time...surprisingly he had not kept track of time...he had lost himself in Zoku's story. Stopping at the doorway...Abaddon turned back towards Zoku. ''I'm sorry if I have upset...was not my intension to bring more pain and greif to you...I respect the fact that you need time to heal. But you cannot keep running from him forever. Whether you like it or not...the clans need you...this world needs you. Whatever path you chose to walk down...may God guide you on your way...and have mercy on your soul.'' ''God is dead to me now...'' Letting down his head in dissapointment...Abaddon turned and dissapeared into the night. After a few moments to himself...Zoku began cleaning up the mess that he had caused by throwing the table...after it was done he began walking to his bedroom to sleep. But feel once again to his knees in the living room...feeling weak inside...all that he could do...was cry. *** The Silver Sadist Kairi- the Crazed Jackel
demonchild781
Keitha made her way through the long corridors of the underground city of the Gyshram clan. Not all of the Gyshram clan lived in the underground city below the great city of London. They were shattered about the world as most of the vampires were, but there was one other place that a large number of Gyshram could be found and that was the city below the great American city known as New York. Lady Liltha made frequent visits to the city under New York, reporting all she heard and did to her dear and faithful husband. Keitha came to stand before the large wooden doors, two guards on either side. "Come in, my Shadow Assassin." The Gyshram Lord called from inside the throne room. The guards came forth, each grabbing hold of a brass handle and pulled the double doors open. Keitha was greeted with the sight of David on his large chair built for him and him alone. She had noticed that the Lady did not grace his side, she must have gone to America. A long copper carpet ran from the doors to the bottom of the steps to the throne chairs themselves. Beautifully hand-crafted tapestries hung from the stone walls in a dramatic display of how old the underground city was. "Come, come my Shadow Assassin." David announced, waving his hand for her to come down the carpet. "Yes my Lord," she bowed slightly and made her way down the carpet. David watched her intently. Her smooth powerful strides made her look as if she was gliding across the floor. Her posture held confidence that was not easily detected without knowing the warrior for some time. He smiled softly as she came before him, bowing at her mid-section as she always had. ?Rise my fare Shadow Assassin, let me look upon your face.? David smiled broadly as the warrior brought herself to stand before him. ?It has been so long, I have missed you so. Having you at my side, it is like you are my dear wife, departed from me on another one of her trips. With all this war it has been hard to see either of you.? Kietha smiled lightly and bowed her head. ?You did not beckon me here to chit-chat, my Lord.? Kietha spoke boldly, she never was one for formality. ?No, no I didn?t.? David?s face was creased with a mild smile. Kietha ran her eyes over her lord. He was a powerful man and his posture showed that. He wore a traditional dress-like robe with the Gyshram?s horse symbol embroided on his chest. His long wavy brown hair lay on his shoulders and drabbed across his chest. His strong face housed his vicious green eyes. At first glance, David was a very intimadating vampire and with the way he carried himself just set the whole mood. Kietha had loved looking into those amazing green eyes. After all the years that she had served him she had slowly begun to notice how distance he had become. Those green eyes had lost something, something that had drawn her in and gave her comfort when she lost Serio, but now...now it was gone. Lost some where amongst the chaos of the world. ?My dear Shadow Assassin, the other eve I had to reassure my dear and lovely wife that you were as loyal to us as you were some five hundred years ago. But now, with the recent events, I, too, have begun to question your motives in this war.? David said calmly, a slight hint of worry cradled around a few words. ?What is it you would like to know, my Lord?? Kietha asked plainly. ?What are you up to, Kietha? What have you planned that you have not told to me? I have always trusted your judgement, but during this time of war...? The Gyshram Lord allowed his sentence to trail off. ?You can?t help but worry and wonder,? Kietha smiled brightly and shook her head lightly in a form of disappointment. ?I have never shown you disloyalty, my Lord. I do not plan on showing it now.? Kietha?s smile still had not left her face. ?Why is it you smile so brightly, my Shadow Assassin?? David leaned forward a bit, pretending to have to adjust himself. ?Only this, my Lord.? Kietha reached into her pocket and instintively the man flinched. David knew that he could trust the warrior, or so he thought, but he couldn?t help but wonder sometimes. She was far more powerful that he and could easily kill him and just about every one of the Gyshram. The only thing that stopped her was her undying loyalty to him and their clan. ?So jumpy my Lord. You cause my heart to ache at such distrust.? Kietha placed her left hand against her chest as she held out the other. David leaned in close to see what she held within her closed fist. She unwrapped her fingers to reveal the Death Diamond. ?HOW...how did you come to aquirer that gem?? David demanded, nearly jumping from his seat. ?My little secret, my Lord.? Kietha smiled broadly and lowered her head. ?What do you plan on doing with such a powerful gem?? The lord sat back in his seat. ?To alter this war, my Lord. To alter the war and bring harmony to our clans that I and Serio had desired for so long.? Kietha stood once more and clutched the diamond in her fist once more. ?I hope this has nothing to do with vengence, my shadow assassin.? David questioned. ?No, my lord. Vengence would be a disgrace to my dear beloved Serio. But my dear lord, there is much I must do before the night is over.? Kietha bowed again, only allowing her head to turn up this time. ?Yes of course, you may be off.? David said with great expression. ?I am sorry to have mistrusted you my faith Shadow Assassin, I shall never question your actions again.? ?Thank you, my Lord.? Kietha brought herself to stand and turned from the vampire?s gaze. She walked out of the throne room and disappeared into the night. **** Zoku held himself up on knees and hands as he wept. Night had fell upon his humble home and small shadows were cast across the room. Slowly the shadows seem to begin to move, dancing to unseen music. Zoku brought his head up, his vision blurred from his tears and all seemed normal again. He looked about the room and again, the shadows began to dance. ?Why do you weep, great human warrior?? Not only did Zoku hear the faint voice, but he felt cold steal against his throat. ?Go ahead and kill me.? The human shouted. The stranger gave a slight chuckle. ?I do not wish to kill you. Stand.? As soon as he was released, Zoku rushed to his feet. He swirled around, the shadows taking their normal resting place as he took in the sight of the Gyshram assassin. ?They call you the Shadow Assassin and now I know why.? Zoku said plainly. ?Such a wise lad. But as I stated before, I do not come here for your death.? Kietha took a carefree stance as she slid her sword back into its shealth. ?What do you want then?? Zoku?s voice held a faint hint of irratation. ?To give you two gifts.? Kietha moved forward and Zoku moved instintively backwards. ?You do know,? Kietha said as she slid behind Zoku before her could move. She took a hold of his waist as she slid in front of him. ?You maybe quick, human...Zoku. But I have spent a thousand years perfect my art and I have not yet dead and forgotten it.? Kietha slid in front of him, still hold his waist. Her face was only an inch or two from his. ?What do you want, vampire?? Zoku nearly spat. ?You say that with such disgusts, Zoku. I know the pain that torments your heart, your body and your soul.? Kietha whispered close to his lips. Zoku pulled away from her in an almost violent manner. ?How would you know! How could you possibly know!?? Kietha slid beside him again, pulling his head to the side, exposing his neck. ?Your pain, which I?m sure you know, is caused by your half blood. I can solve that.? Kietha ran her tongue across Zoku?s scars. ?It hurts for a moment and the power is immense. Becoming a vampire doesn?t mean you lose who you are. You just lose the ability to die as a mortal. I was once human, like you.? Kietha brought teeth gently onto Zoku?s neck. ?It was hard at first, to stop the lust for blood. But I had help, I had Serio. Ah, what am I doing.? Kietha jumped back and looked at the man before her. ?Here,? Kietha reached into her coat and handed him a book. ?My journal,? Zoku sighed. ?And this,? Kietha added. Zoku looked up to see Kietha holding out the Death Diamond. ?How in the world...? Zoku gasped. ?I am a Gyshram assassin who has been on this planet for some thousand years now. I have my talents, my contentions and some debts that needed to be filled.? ?Why are you giving me this? I thought you and the Gyshram had sided with Kuroichi.? ?We are.? ?I don?t understand.? ?I believe that the clans need to be united finally. We have become so distant and too concern with ourselves. We need to come together as a people and if Kuroichi can do that, then that?s great. But he must past many trials, like gathering the gems and defeating those that oppose him. You, Zoku, is all that truly stands in his way. I don?t want some one weak or fool-hearted to be the leaders of the clans. I may be loyal to Gyshram, but I am still an indiviual. I want the best for my people and for our children. The world will not come to an end if Kuroichi wins, but the world will change and innocent blood will be shed. But finally we will be united and Serio, and even myself can finally rest peacefully.? Kietha smiled and gave a slight laugh. ?I want to make sure Kuroichi is the one to rule over the vampires and I will do anything to test that loyalty until I feel satisfied. If that means adding you and making you stronger, than so be it.? Kietha forcefully placed the diamond into the man?s hand and smiled. ?If you ever want to take me up on my offer, you can contact me. Until next we meet, Zoku.? And with that Kietha disappeared into the night once more. OOC: sorry its so long, had a lot to say.
Kairi
Keitha continued her path through the forest after her encounter with Zoku...she had pitty on the poor human. For she knew of his torment... I wonder what he would be like as one of us... she thought to herself as she moved amongst the shadows of the night. Suddenly she stopped; something was following her. The skill in her movements were nothing but graceful with precision. With amazing speed, she swiftly moved in persuit of the stalker that she spotted in the woods till momentarily there was no sign of it. No sound, no movement...nothing. As she stopped to closed her eyes and concentrate...trying to relax herself...in an instant she felt a chillin blade on her throat. As she looked at it, it seemed to sparkle in the moonlight. ''You underestimate me assassin.'' the voice whispering in her ear. The gentleness of its voice and scent nullified her causing a slight un-nerving down her spine. The grasp of her attackers hold around her chest with its forearm was intense. Feeling its own strong, firm chest against her back. ''I may be human, but I am just as good as you are...'' The hold intensified, as Keitha began to feel the body heat pressing against hers. I haven't felt this kind of warmth since... Then he released her as she was about to make her move against him...Zoku placed his one scimitar in his sheath. Surprisingly to Keitha, Zoku was all dressed and prepared. He wore his usual silver trench coat having both blades buckled to his right side...and his shotgun dangling to his left. The tears that once infested his eyes were now gone showing his bright blue eyes from behind his dangling black hair. ''Zoku...'' ''You may be right about the clans needing to unite under one banner. God willing I agree with you. However one thing escapes you. Kuroichi does not want to unite the clans...but to destroy them. And only his faithful followers will be spared. Freedom as you know it will be gone...your precious clan...will be laid in ruins. He will not let another clan stand against his own.'' Keitha could only stand in silence... ''I cannot see where this war is going to take this world...but as like you...I wish to see balance once again. Who is to be the true ruler? I do not know...till that time comes though...I would like to know more about you and your kind. It has been too long since I have been apart from your world. Maybe someday I will chose...and take up your offer...for now I will go back with you.'' Keitha put both her hands on her thighs as she looked at Zoku annoyed, and somewhat glad that he chose to come back from his little cabin... Zoku walked past her continuing down the dirt path back to civilization...then stopped with his back towards her. ''If you want to be an active player in this war...please...come with me to Greece...if nothing there interests you...you are free to leave. But I do ask that you do come with me...I don't think you would give me this diamond if you did not trust me...It is time for me to come back into play in this war.'' ''We shall see...shall we be off then?'' ''Certainly...'' ''However, I don't think that you will be able to keep up with me human...'' as she gave a enthusiastic laughter...echoing in the night. Zoku laughed as well... Turning now back to Keitha... ''By the way...what is your name assassin?'' ''Keitha...Keitha of the....'' ''Please...I do not care for your title...only your name. If you would so kind as too be a little slower for me for my wounds have not completely healed yet...lets go!'' The two dissapeared into the night together towards Greece... DragonBlood
OOC: ULX what gems do you have at the moment? IC: Arron and Fang walked silently through the dark city of Paris. Arron had already bitten and turned many people since he entered the city. Every Vampire in the city who saw the coruption of the Ijuuj was gathering. Arron had entered the city and found a very old friend, who also saw the problem that the clans faced, "My friend the Ijuuj will do nothing drastic, nor will the Gwyar, though I think Dracula is getting restless. You have one gem but no followers, even a vampire as powerfull as you can not win this alone." Erid sat in a large chair infront of a fire. "You will start in Paris, many of us here will listen to you and join your cause. Form a new clan Arron, and join with Dracula when the time comes to fight this in open moonlight." Arron had begun that night, some time ago, twelve joined him in one night, then twenty, soon they came from all over the city. Arron decreed that the city was ripe for the taking, and the new clan went out to begin the harvest. Now they all gathered in an old school gym, Arron stood amid them all, "You are all aware that the Silver Haired Deamon has waged war on the Ijuuj while they sit back and do nothing." heads nodded all around, "Something must be done, The Ijuuj will be distroyed because they will do nothing, Tonight we begin preperations for great battles. This is not the begining of a clan, this is the begining of a crusade!" Shouts erupted all around. "Go now and strengthen your selves! War is upon us all!" The vampires went out into the night, the blood flowed in the streets, any vampire against them was slaughtered, power grew. Arron began to absorb all the energy he could from the blood and death around him. Deep with in him covered by a mask of good, a seed of evil had awoken, his power grew faster then ever over the next few days. OOC:Yes yes, drastic I know, but know it will get interesting. Onix
The large London hotel room was dark, and silent as a tomb. Curtains blocked the windows, the door was shut tightly, and all the lights were off. Not even the tiniest beam entered the sanctuary of shadow. At last, the rattle of keys shattered the thick silence, and the door creaked open, slashing light across the room. Bright red shone through the gloom, and as the lights were flicked on by the room-owner, four figures were revealed. One was a bored-looking young man, leaning languidly across the small bar-table. A pair of strange red glasses were pushed up on his forehead, beneath a tall shock of orange hair, covered partly by a red-gold cap. He was clad in a bright red shirt and black pants, a shot glass in one hand, hilt of his sword in the other. Standing stiffly against a wall was an older looking blonde man wearing a sleek brown coat, a tie just barely visible. He radiated superiority and confidence, though it seemed slightly diminished with the entrance of the new man. He held a whip in one hand, beneath bright yellow cuffs. Behind the couch was another man, tall and statuesque, with long blue-gray hair sweeping down his back. He held his elaborately crafted sword behind his back. The dark steel of the blade and his strage gauntlet contrasted with the electric blue of his clothes, that almost seemed to glow. Finally, sitting calmly on the couch was another young man, placid and emotionless. His white-blonde hair was fair and reached chin-length. His dark gray shirt and black pants were streaked with neon-green. his two black swords sat at his side, in consideration for the new entrant. He seemed to be the weakest of the four, but he commanded authority by his presence alone. The Silver-Haired man walked in, closing the door behind him. He smiled to the four others in his room. "And why have the Dragon Kings graced my presence," asked the silver haired man. He sat down in an arm chair across from the boy in green, reclining back. "The brat ain't a King yet," growled the red-haired young man. His thick cockney accent was clear and strong. "'E's just 'ere cause 'is mum was tied up back in Shanghai." "Use a more respectful tone in the presence of our lord Kuroichi, Ao-Chin," snapped the older blonde. "Aw shut yer gob, Jun," grumbled Ao-Chin. The youngest of the four spoke, ignoring Ao-Chin and Ao-Jun. "We are here because we fear...trouble," said the boy, speaking with a careful, slow tone. "The lords back home wish to know of your progress, my lord." "My four generals need not worry," said Kuroichi. "I have obtained three of the gems already. A fourth has been lost, I believe taken by Night Rider. And the other three are in the fragile hands of Zoku-kun." The blue man smiled a little. Ao-Jun and the boy remained stoic, and Ao-Chin just rolled his eyes. "An' 'ow, exactly, do you know that Zoku 'as all of 'em?" "My sources have told me of two of his captures, and the third was a near miss for me, had my temporary ally not turned on me at the last minute." The blue man's mouth twitched, and he spoke. "Shall we hunt down this traitor, sir?" he said, grinning coldly. "That shall not be necessary, Ao-Shun. While he may act fierce, the loudest tiger is always the weakest." "Aye, my liege," said Ao-Shun, looking a bit disappointed. He fingers twined around the hilt of his blade. "So we are to report good news to the Great Four Beasts?" asked the boy. "Please do so, Ao-Ping," Kuroichi said, smiling. "But tell Dokeshi and Yurei that I have a job requiring their...talents. They are to go to Brazil and speak with Don Cesar of the Labareda. They must make an offer pf peace to the Labareda. While they are one of the weakest clans, they have great resources, and an entire continent at their disposal. While China and Japan are proving more than sufficient for our current activities, we must expand. South America is a good place to start." "Aye, my lord," said Ao-Ping. The five sat in silence for a moment, while Kuroichi looked contemplative. Then he spoke again. "Actually, give that mission to Dokeshi alone. I have a more important job for Yurei. He must speak to his old clan-mates, the Gyshram. I wish for affirmation of their loyalty. I want him to talk with their leader. No threats, no assault, just a civilized conversation. We want the Gyshram with us. They already know more than I would like, should they defect." "It shall be done, m'lord." "And how is your conquest of the Ijuuj faring?" asked Ao-Jun. "As I said, quite well, Ao-Jun. I am actually preparing for a meeting with the Fang Boss tomorrow. He may have lost the Fang, but I just need to prove that I am not...rusty." "Oy, master!" said Ao-Chin, rising. "Can I come with yeh? I've always wanted to show that old bastard that no one talks down ta me, eh? Treated me like shit while I was with them, and I want payback." "Certainly, Ao-Chin." "Oh, Master," Ao-Ping began. "Yes, Ao-Ping?" "There is a woman who wishes to meet with you. Elizabeth Archer is her name. What should I tell her?" Kuroichi smiled wickedly. "Tell her to meet me here tomorrow." *** OOC: Just wanted to introduce some of Kuroichi's subordinates. The reason for their strange names? Kuroichi is turning into quite the mythology buff. He has named many of his subordinates after dieties from Chinese and Japanese mythology. The Dragon Kings are the rulers of the four oceans. Ao-Ping is the son of Ao-Kuang, who is currently busy in Shanghai. The Four Dragon Kings each have a great treasure: Ao-Kuang with a magic cudgel that can grow and shrink; Ao-Shun with magic shoes that can let him fly; Ao-Chin who has a magic red-gold cap; and Ao-Jun who has a yellow-gold chainmail shirt. The Great Four Beasts are Seiryuu, Suzaku, Genbu, and Byakko. However, in the Krilat Zmaj, they are the four generals Dokeshi (Byakko), Doppo (Genbu), Yurei (Seiryuu), and Yaiba (Suzaku). He also has a team named after the Eight Immortals of Chinese Mythology, and five of his higher-ups are Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi, Amatsu Mikaboshi, Susanoo, and Yamata-no-Orochi. Ezekiel
Beth groaned and buried her face into her pillow, sighing deeply. She looked at the large clock on her wall and saw that it was past almost 6 o'clock, the time she had arranged to meet with Kuroichi. She stood up and looked at the clothes that had been picked for her by a few of the older and more respected female members of the Gywar clan. Beth held the top up and blinked, blushing brightly, "Not much of it..." she muttered before taking off her dress and replacing it with what seemed to be a crimson corset, showing her belly button. She sighed and then removed her stockings, pulling on the extremely tight fitting, black pants that were surprisingly comfortable considering. Beth checked herself in the mirror and added the final few touches, high heeled boots, dark lipstick and eye shadow and a leather biker-esque jacket. She nodded, pleased with the end result and walked out, almost falling down the stairs because of the shoes. After finally reaching her destination, Beth took a deep breath and stepped inside, ignoring the whistles and cat calls she received form less savoury visitors to the bar. Then, she saw him. Tall with silver hair and a very handsome face. Onix
Kuroichi sat at the bar, holding a glass in his hand. The drunks around him eyed him menacingly. He was an outsider in the small establishment; silver-hair, asian, stunningly handsome, clad in extravegant garments. Everything about him was foreign, from the rings on his fingers, to the expesive red wine in his glass. But the ugly stares vanished as the door creaked open. A gorgeuous, fair-haired woman walked in, clad in revealing, tight clothes. The patrons whistled, chuckled, and cat-called. Kuroichi felt a twitch develop in his eye at the low-brow attention. The woman, masking all but the slightest discomfort, did not deserve such rough treatment. As she reached the small table wear Kuroichi sat, he rose and pulled out her chair. Though he was called a Demon, he could be quite the gentleman when it was called for. A slight blush crossed her delicate features as he pushed in her chair. "So, Miss Archer, what can I do for you?" Kuroichi said, smiling pleasently. "I was hoping to..." she paused, searching for the right words. "...Join your organization." "Oh? And why is that, my dear?" "Well, the Krilat Zmaj are obviously far superior to the others. And you are...vastly superior to others of your kind," she said, emphasizing the word superior. Kuroichi stared contemplatively, gauging her honesty. She seemed truthful, but he could never be too careful. "Well, as flattering as that may be, I do not know how trustworthy you really are..." "Well, what could I do to prove my honesty, Mister Kuroichi?" A coy smile played across her lips, and Kuroichi knew what she was implying. "A lady such as yourself need not lower herself to such a position, Miss Archer..." "Please, call me Elizabeth." "...Elizabeth. There are easier ways to earn my trust." "Oh?" Kuroichi's ears suddenly twitched as he heard several chair being pushed out. His eyes flickered to one side and he say several large men rising from their table. "We can discuss this further in a moment," Kuroichi whispered. "For the time being, I believe there are a few gentlemen who wish to have a word." "'Ello, pretty lady," said one of the men, leaning onto Kuroichi's table. "What's a cute bird like you doin' with some pretty boy like this, eh?" The man reeked of alcohol, his words slurred and drenched with a thick accent. "Me an' me mates could show you what real men are like. 'Ow 'bout that, eh?" Elizabeth leveled the man with a glare, and said calmly, "I am quite happy with my current companion, thank you." "Why you little tart..." The large man reached out to grab Elizabeth, by Kuroichi siezed his wrist, slamming it to the table. "The lady does not wish to go with you. Go back to your table, and continue drinking yourself into oblivion." The large drunk glared at Kuroichi, pulling his arm back. His friends glared at Kuroichi as well, some of them cracking their knuckles. "An' what you gonna do 'bout it if'n I don't, eh? Gonna pretty me to death?" The drunk let out a loud, barking laugh. His friends chorused the drunken laughter. "Go fix yer make-up, ya little poof, 'for I tear off that pretty little face o' yers." Kuroichi's eyes flashed, and he stood up. He was easily as tall as the drunk. "I do not take kindly to being threatened." "That right? Wanna fight, en? Think you can take me?" Kuroichi's arm pistoned up, stabbing into the drunk's chest. Blood spurted out around the silver-haired man's arm. Kuroichi wrenched his arm out, more blood spraying from the wound. "I do, actually." Kuroichi slammed the heel of his other hand up, driving it into the drunk man's face. The sound of bone shattered rang out in the pub, and he crashed to the ground, jaw at an extreme angle. The other drunks moved around Kuroichi, ganging up on him. They easily outmanned him ten-to-one. "We're gonna kill yeh, ya fucking psychopath!" "Try it." Kuroichi swung his arm out at some of the men, the blood on his hand turning into tiny daggers. They riddled the men, the tiny blades tearing them to shreds. Blood spiraled around his other arm, turning into a massive sword. He turned quickly on his heel, slashed the men on his other side with the sword. Blood and entrails spilled across the floor. Other people in the bar were beginning to rise. Some charged Kuroichi, others went for the door. With a quick handgesture, the doors slammed shut. The men that drew close were blown back by red and purple bolts of energy. Green energy began to surround the corpses littering the ground, and they rose, lurching towards the other patrons. Screams pierced the night as the walking corpses attacked the living, the two groups tearing eachother apart. Blood darts hailed down upon any who drew too near to Kuroichi or Elizabeth. The latter sat at the small table, drinking wine and watching the slaughter. "This begins to bore me," Kuroichi said amidst the chaos. "Shall we go? We can talk more in my hotel room." "Certainly, Mister Kuroichi." A window shattered inward, shining razors falling on people too close. Kuroichi stepped out, taking Elizabeth's hand and helping her out. With a last gesture, he formed a red orb in his hands and threw it inside. The Blood Mist would finish the rest, locked inside the building with the zombies. Kuroichi and Elizabeth strolled along the dark London streets as the screams echoed behind them.
demonchild781
The white haired man stood in front of the large wooden doors, hidden behind them was the Lady and Lord of the Gyshram Clan. A servant was at his side, protesting his appearance at the large doors and two large guards stood, their weapons crossed before him. The man stood quietly, waiting for the moment he would enter those very doors. ?Let him in!? David shouted from within the room. Both the servant and the guards before him struggled to keep composure as they ushered him in. The servant fell to his knees before his Lord and Lady. ?Please, my Lord, forgive me, but I could not stop him. He?.? The servant began. ?We have been expecting you Yurei.? Lord David broke him off, a bright smile creasing the vampire?s face. The servant shoot his head up, jaw dropping as he looked at his lord. ?We are terribly sorry that you were not welcomed properly, Yurei. But we were not expecting you on such short notice, you understand?? David added. ?Be gone with you,? Liltha waved her hand at the servant angrily. The man rushed to his feet, bowed and left the throne room. He and the guards shut the door behind them, leaving the Lord and Lady alone with the powerful Yurei. The large man nodded his head lightly at the couple. ?Can we offer you anything?? Liltha opened her arms in a sign of offering. ?No.? The man replied shortly. ?Let?s handle the business at hand.? ?But of course?.? David began. ?Kuroichi questions our loyalty.? Liltha nearly snapped, shooting a wary glare at her husband. ?Yes.? The man replied shortly. ?Tell the White-haired Demon that he has nothing to fear.? David turned his attention from Yurei to his wife and smiled at her. ?And what of the assassin?? Yurei added, slightly annoyed that the Lord was not keeping courtiousy towards his guest. ?My Shadow Assassin?? David turned back around to face the man before him. His smile widened. ?She is loyal to me and our clan, there for loyal to your White-haired Demon, Kuroichi.? ***** Kietha looked up at the large castle that stood before her, she had stopped moving so quickly in the night and allowed Zoku to catch up with her. ?Have you ever seen one before?? Zoku spoke as he joined her side. ?Yes, but nothing like this.? Kietha said, her voice sounding very distant. Zoku stared at her for a moment, not truly knowing what to say. ?I had lived in one, given to Serio and I by the Gyshram for our loyalty. We had heard many great tales of the Dracula Castle, but never had I thought it would be this wonderous.? Kietha stared at the structure in complete wonder for a moment. ?Shall we enter?? Zoku motioned with his hand towards the building. ?Yes,? Kietha nodded. The two walked side by side into the massive structure. There were various paintings and displays, all one would find in a castle made into such a maginfiecent home. Kietha followed closing behind Zoku as he made his way through the castle. He led them finally to an off room towards the back. Upon entering the room they were greeted by harsh weapons and words. ?Who is she?? some one yelled. ?What is she doing?? another added. ?This is?.? Zoku began. ?It has been a long time, Kietha, Lady of Serio.? Dracula walked gently towards the assassin with such elegance that almost any lady would have melted. Kietha smiled at the familiar face, extending her hand towards him. He took it carefully caressing it with his hands. He bent forward and laid a gently tender kiss upon the back of it. ?Your hands are so worn, Kietha.? Dracula sighed. ?They once were so gentle and soft.? He seemed to weep with every word. ?The Gyshram Shadow Assassin.? LeStat said bitterly. Kietha and Dracula turned their attention towards the vampire. Kyu stood with confusion stretched across his face and Zoku wasn?t far from the vampiress side. Kietha slid her hand from Dracula and strut towards LeStat. He watched her with envy and anger as she came to stand before him. He looked down into her dark eyes, her sweet scent raising to meet his nose. ?LeStat. It has been awhile hasn?t it?? Kietha smiled at the man. ?What has made such a well-known assassin want to grace us with her presence?? LeStat spat at her. ?Oh, poor LeStat. Still bitter about something?? Keitha reached up to touch his face, but he pulled back. ?I?ve come to see the forces that rally against Kuroichi.? Kietha smiled, turning to the vampire she did not know. ?And you are?? ?Kyu.? The vampire replied plainly. ?Why did you bring her, Zoku? She and her clan have sided with the enemy.? LeStat coursed. ?LeStat! Hold your tongue.? Dracula said coursely. ?Whether she is the Gyshram?s Shadow Assassin and sided with the enemy, she is still a guest in my house and an old friend of mine.? Dracula took up Kietha?s left side. ?But you do know my dear fair lady, that if we come to battle during this war that I will not hold back. No matter how much you and Serio mean to me.? Dracula took in Kietha?s eyes, worry and concern stretched across his. Kietha nodded, ?I know of this, Dracula. I will not hold back though your blood runs through my veins as well.? Dracula gave a false smile as he beckoned every one to sit once more. OOC: To clear up any confusion, Dracula is Serio's creater, father, master, what ever you wish to call him. Kairi
The five warriors sat in a large living room with luxurious furniture with priceless tapastries hanging from the walls. For a moment everyone sat in silence as the crackling sound of wood could be heard from the fireplace....till Dracula was the first one to speak. ''Your reputation precedes you human. My master has told me great things about you and your defiance towards the Silver-Hairded Demon to this point. What is it that brings you here to us now?'' Zoku rose from his seat to properly introduce himself. ''For those who don't know me...my name is Zoku. I believe I have not met you yet...Kyu I believe...'' Both men approached each other and shook hands. Kyu's power leaked into Zoku's own...sensing the depth of the powerful vampire. ''The Gwyar certainly are as powerful as they are rumored to be...I am honored to be in your presence Kyu.'' Kyu simply took back his seat, showing no sign of casual conversation at the moment, but simply wanting to get down to business. Zoku began passing back and forth in front of the fire... ''As you are well aware, the Krilat Zmaj are now in possession of three of the 7 Ijuuj gems. While I have three others with the Pearl Fang being guarded in England...'' ''Not anymore, we have heard that Aaron, a follower of the Fang Boss has taken the Pearl and has begun forming an army against the forces of the Krilat Zmaj.'' said LeStat...constantly glancing at Keitha while she sat in her seat comfortably; listening to Zoku speak.'' What surprising authority and respect he brings...even to that of vampires... she thought to herself... ''What have the Gwyar done in response to this Dracula?'' ''My master has decide to stay neutral in the cause. He believes that it will be an unnecessary act for the Gwyar to involve themselves with the other clans...'' In a rage LeStat breaks in... ''It's madness, father is only being stubborn and arrogant. We must bring him down and bring order to the clan that has become so decadant.'' ''Hold your tongue!'' Dracula cried out... Shocked to hear of this... ''What is this that you speak LeStat?'' Zoku said... ''We have sent in a spy within the Krilat Zmaj...he name is Beth. She believes that with Kuroichi's weakness for women, that she may be able to get valuable information for us. However LeStat believes that we should overthrow our master in order to save the stability and existance of our clan.'' ''AND FOR ALL WE KNOW SHE MAY BE A SPY SENT BY HIM!'' LeStat pointing at Keitha rising from his chair. Both Kyu and Dracula jumped up and grabbed LeStat as he advanced himself at Keitha. As the men faught, all that Keitha did was laugh. ''Stop...this solves nothing!'' cried out Zoku... ''You loss your place in this councel LeStat...'' uttered Dracula to his friend, trying to calm him down. ''Please, if you all will sit down and relax; I will tell you a better way to salvage this than to bring down Caine.'' Uneasily, Kyu, Dracula and LeStat sat back down. ''In order to be successful in this campaign against the Krilat Zmaj...we cannot be divided as we are...you must become unified, without your master's blessings....behold, a gift.'' Out from Zoku's pocket, he revieled the Skull Sapphire and the Death Diamond. ''If we were to unite with Aaron and his new hoard, as well as with the rest of the Ijuuj. To search out aid from even the Myrkur Aniol...and with these gems...we may have a chance. But we must act now...Kuroichi will soon unleash the fury of his generals and armies. Alligances must be made...as I'm sure Kuroichi is making as we speak'' Keitha was shocked by the choice that Zoku just made in using her gift to him. ''What will you do with the Dark Moonstone?'' ''Thank you for giving me the Death Diamond Keitha, however I am not worthy nor capable of using its powers...however I still have some use for the Moonstone on my own accord.'' ''However...while we work outside of Caine's orders...we need a leader. Someone who has the strength to bring your clans together must come forward. I am only human, and I will do what I can. However, this is not my fight, but that of all vampires.'' ''I will lead them...'' Kyu said in a confident tone of voice. ''As my dear friend Beth fights to save us all, I cannot wait around to do nothing. I will seek aid, and unite us under one banner.'' ''Then I give these to you.'' Zoku walked over to Kyu; took his left hand and placed both gems into his palm. ''Use them well Kyu...and may God have mercy on us all.'' ''You speak such firm and honorable words Zoku...it is a shame that you are only human.'' ''Are you leaving? Aren't you going to stay...'' asked Dracula, seeing now why his master thought so highly of him. ''If it is alright with you Dracula, I would like to stay here in your castle to talk with you more about other issues. But I won't stay too long. I may still be able to fight...but I'm not quite ready yet. I will explain to you later...but...please understand.'' ''Understood human, I await the day when I will fight side by side with you...when you choose it.'' Then Keitha decided to rise from her chair... ''As an assassin of the Gyshram...I feel it is my place to say that we will not side with you Kyu. Our loyalty has already been placed with Kuroichi.'' ''It's ok Keitha, we would not dare ask you to betray your own clan against your will...I know you far too well my friend, and I know that you will do the right thing. To know what Serio would do if he was still here with us.'' Dracula went up to his dear friend and embraced her...knowing that one day they may see each other as enemies. ''But enough of such things...it is time for rest. You all are welcome to stay till night comes again tomorrow night, or as long as you would like afterward if needs be. You are all welcome in my house. There are quarters awaiting for all of you.'' Zoku yawning at thought of sleep...however knowing that he wouldn't get any. ''Thank you for your hospitality...we shall speak again later when I've had some time to think. Rest well everyone...and thank you for giving me the opportunity to talk with you all. Kyu, it is now up to you.'' After shaking everyone's hand, saying his goodbyes. Zoku began ascending a flight of stairs upto his room. Everyone went their seperate ways...leaving Keitha in the middle of the living room. Torn on what to do, what to feel. Just watching Zoku leave the room. Orcus
OOC: I greatly appreciate the gifts, Zoku. But how to unite my clan? I must consult Dracula and Zoku. IC: Kyu gazed at the Skull Sapphire and Death Diamond, deep in thought. Hmm...I have to unify my clan...such an enormous task...maybe my confidence earlier was overly displayed and foolhardy. He looked down at the gems and could practically see their overflowing energies. No wonder Kuroichi's after this, he thought grimly to himself. And I'll be his next target one his subordinate assassin reports to him that I'm now in possession of his "treasures". His thoughts turned then to Beth. I wonder how her mission's going. He thought suddenly about the outfit she had left in and blushed. How disgraceful it was for the elders to make her wear such an outfit. And the way they stared....Kyu sighed and spoke out loud, "But I suppose it's for the best. We need to get rid of Kuroichi...but if he lays a hand on her..." Kyu stood up in rage, and the dart board on the wall erupted into flame. "Whoops.." He raised his hand and put out the flame. I need to practice with my powers...I'll get Dracula or maybe Zoku-san to spar with me... He emerged from his room and strode down the hallways towards Dracula's quarters. He gazed over the stair banister to see the assassin Keitha still standing their, undoubtedly considering the recent events. He arrived in front of Dracula?s door and knocked. ?Come in!?, emitted a powerful voice. Kyu opened the door and walked in. Dracula and Zoku were engaged in conversation. Kyu was taken back, So sorry Dracula. I did not know you were in the presence of Zoku-san. I?ll leave immediately.? Kyu began turning, whe Dracula called to him, ?No, it?s no problem at all. I needed to talk with you anyway.? Kyu pulled a chair over and sat down. He addressed Zoku, ?I did not properly thank you earlier for the gifts, Zoku-san. Please accept my apologies for my rude behavior.? Kyu bowed his head. Zoku merely shrugged, ?No worries. And none of this san stuff. If we are to be allies or furthermore friends, no honorifics need be used.? Kyu bowed his head again. Dracula called for his attention, ?Kyu, I?ve noticed you?ve been extremely emotional lately, and I know it?s not just because you?ve missed us. What happened?? Kyu lowered his head sadly, ?Well?as I ventured towards the manor to speak with you one of our subordinates called, saying?.? He broke off. Dracula stood up and walked over to Kyu, putting his hand on his shoulder, ?Please, continue. You?ll feel better after it?s off your chest.? Kyu looked up, tears welling in his eyes. He wiped the tears away and continued, ?S?sa..saying that?Kay?liel and Chienzeru were killed. By vampires. The Krilat Zmaj, most likely..? Dracula clenched Kyu?s shoulder tightly, ?I?m sorry?? Kyu smiled, ?It?s nothing, I still have you, LeStat and Beth?If Kuroichi does anything to her?.? He shook it off, ?I almost forgot why I came. Would you two mind sparring with me? My powers still need developing and I need to be strong if I am to help my clan.? Zoku and Dracula grinned and agreed. They walked out back and stood facing each other. Kyu drew his blade, ?Ready?? OOC: I have decided to alter Kyu's appearance. This is how he now looks. Kyu
