Redemption
ELEMENTAL BEASTS: DEMON INVASION Smoke screened the night sky, blocking the moon's silver light. The dull glow of the burning village gave the only light for the young girl to see by as she ran into the dense, dark forest. Behind her, large black dog-like figures flitted from shadow to shadow. Pushing through a prickly bush, the young girl tripped over a large stone. Hitting the ground, she could feel heavy panting at her back. The disgusting smell of rotting flesh wafted under her nose. Quickly, she stood up and frantically stumbled her way towards a well-travelled road that led to the seaside capital of Mir - Sargon. Suddenly, she was tackled by a large animal. Her screams echoed through the still night, until, finally, they died away. Silence hung in the night air like death. A dark feminine figure stood among the burning remains of the village her 'pets' had just ravaged. A wicked smile crossed her flawless face. Her black eyes glittered with delight at the sight of such devastation and destruction. Soon, the large black dog-like figures swarmed around her, awaiting a new command to they could reap their hell once again. " To the next village my loyal pets..." she hissed. A rowdy vicious roar of delight split the night air - a roar that would strike fear into the hearts of the bravest of warriors. ********************************* Robin stared into the small crackling fire unhappily. Raven, who was sitting behind his mistress, snorted, feeling Robin?s discontent. ? I know Raven. I?m unhappy. There?s no much work for us these days. No one wants a cursed hunter. Especially when Arawn lurks around and scares the villagers half to death. Life is tough my friend. Perhaps in the future we will find somewhere where we can be at peace,? Robin said, her voice cool. Suddenly, two gleaming red eyes appeared at the edge of the forest. Robin and Raven had made camp at the side of a well-travelled road that lead to Sargon, the capital of Mir. A thick dense forest surrounded these parts. Mistress, Arawn is here? Raven told his mistress through a telepathic link. Robin looks up at the red gleaming eyes. ? You can come out Arawn, Hell Hound of Death,? Robin said coldly, becoming her real self. Normally she was as cold as ice. The momentary lapse in emotion before was an extremely rare thing. Arawn strode forward. Its pitch-black hide camouflaged perfectly into the night. ? Arawn?my death dealing friend?? Robin whispered. Raven got to his feet. Suddenly, a girl?s scream split the night air. Robin whirled around to the direction it had come from. Then a rowdy roar of evil followed soon after the scream. The smell of death wafted under Robin?s nose. ? Death?.? she whispered. Robin stamped out the fire, swung herself onto Raven, who was still fully packed, and raced towards the roar with Arawn following obediently. ________________________________________________ Robin and Raven were racing along the road when Robin spotted tracks leading off the road. Being a Hunter, she noticed little details. ? Behind us Raven.? The black stallion wheeled around and slowed to a trot. Robin looked at the tracks. There was human tracks and another that she didn?t know. Hopping off Raven, Robin inspected the tracks further. She concluded that the human was attacked by an unknown animal. Following them into the forest, Robin came across a small girl with tear marks in her back. Robin could sense that she was alive, but barely. Robin picked the child up gently and waled back to Raven. What?s this? A child? the stallion asked. ? Yes. She?s alive, but barely. I cannot see a child die if my help could be used. You know that Raven.? I don?t like having any other person riding me but you! ? Once is all I ask.? Arawn came up to Raven and Robin. Mistress, beyond the forest is a village that has been flattened. No one there is alive. All have been slaughtered. ? That?s why I smell death.? Yes mistress. Demons have been there. Robin whirled around to the Hell Hound who stood at her waist. ? Demons?.they?ve been extinct for hundreds of years.? They?re back?and they want revenge? They have already moved onto the next village. ? Alright then. We stay here the night and watch for them.? Yes mistress. OOC:Ok guys. Meet up with my character somehow and we?ll get this RPG underway.
Sakura
Kari was balancing on a branch, she was looking around for any signs of her companions, her right hand was holding a wooden staff that was really twin blades, and her dagger that she always carried was tucked into her belt . She saw a glint of colour flash through the sky and she placed two of her fingers to her mouth and let out a loud, high pitched bird call that sounded like an eagle. Kari held her arm out as she saw the flash of colour flying toward her and the bird landed on her outstretched limb, digging her talons in lightly. "Did you find it, Larka?" Kari asked the bird. ["I'm afraid I didn't, perhaps Fell had better luck than I."] she replied through their telepathic link. They noticed a black shadow dash across the forest floor, then came to a halt beneath the tree Kari was in. "Did you find it, Fell?" Kari queried. <"Sadly, I did not."> the jet black wolf replied. "Alright, let's go then, we'll just have to guess. Unless Kerma finds it." Kari sighed, jumping from the tree. As Kari fell, Larka opened her wings and soared into the sky, wheeling above them. Kari straightened from the landing position and bent slightly to rub Fell's ears. They walked through the undergrowth of the forest, they had been walking around for three days, after they left their community home. It was late afternoon and they'd been searching for the exit of the forest for two days. There was a faint sound of beating wings and a girl with wings flapped in front of Kari and Fell. She was a pretty girl, with crystal blue eyes and chestnut coloured hair. Her wings sparkled and they were ocean blue. "Kerma the Light Faerie, did you find the exit?" Kari asked. "Indeed I did, but you must hurry, the reason I found the exit is because a village near the forest has been flattened by demons, the smell of death pollutes the usually clean air of the forest. The demons have already moved on to the next village." Kerma reported. "Then let's go!" Kari said, breaking out into a run. Running along the ground wasn't her favourite thing to do, so she clambered up a tree and started to jump through the trees. Fell rushed along the floor, and Kerma and Larka flew above, guiding them to the exit. OOC: Sorry if the post is bad, couldn't really think of much. Heero Darkangel
OOC: Ok I don't know if I can post...but if there's anything wrong Amgoddess just give a holla!! IC: Lee had been travelling for days...his mind ached as if someone was beating on the inside 'Lee, you are tired, we should rest,' spoke Syn as the mighty steed pulled to a hault 'carry on,' spoke Lee coldly as he looked up and peared out over the land before them A growl echoed around them...eerie and ghostly 'Easy Veradon,' spoke Lee as he felt something move passed him..but couldn't see Veradon but he knew he was there At that moment screaming filled the air....and screaming filled Lee's head, Birds flew over the top of them in a mad rush......and animals darted from the woods, Lee looked around wondering what was going on....Screaming still filled his head making it pound Suddenly at his side...he stood 'Lee, Demons attack a village east of hear..just beyound the woods,' hissed a white Pantha looking up at him 'Syn make hast!!,' Lee's voice echoed chilingly as they took off through the woods... The screaming became even louder as they came out on a hill top looking down over a half burning village 'mmmm....time to fest,' whispered the white Pantha hungrily 'Dusk..this is no time to think about food.....think about it later,' spoke Lee, 'Lets go,' Syn reared up and then took off down the hill.....Lee then drew his Spear as they entered the Village...he jumped down from Syn who stampeeded through a horde of Demons, Verdon ghostly existence smashed his way through them with ease..but more came, Dusk took down a demon one by one Lee swung his spear and it sang its eerie tune and slashed open a demon who's shrill scream echoed around him....a demon suddenly came up from behind but then was crushed by Veradon...it seemed the more they killed, more would appear.... Lee then pulled his sword and with both Devine weapons in hand he made them sing....as he killed one after the other trying to shed some light in this dull moment OOC: I hope this is ok??.... Seibzeihn
Kadaj stepped over the body of a slain blacksmith absently, his eyes blind to the carnage that surrounded him. Though Geo-Crucify remained in its sheath, Kadaj could sense the presence of others besides himself nearby. Nevertheless, they did not hold the resonance of the demons that this place held. Or had held, rather. The wisps of magic that denoted their presence were slowly fading, as their work had already been completed. No one was left alive to tell the tale. Something about the feel of the now-pillaged establishment turned Kadaj's stomach. Such hate. They are...just like me. Yet you are different as well, Master. The black hearts they possess are not yours. The dark blood does not flow in your veins. Tyiar winged down from above, standing a full foot-and-a-half taller than Kadaj. The phoenix's pinions were brilliant reds and oranges, and its crystalline blue eyes met his. No. We are more alike than you acknoweldge. The phoenix seemed to sigh in his head. My soul is black with blood, and damned... A sudden impulse caused both Tyiar and Kadaj to turn, both facing a certain point in the nearby landscape. Kadaj's feet slid into a fighting stance, and Tyiar took wing once more, hovering in the air over the Master's head. Someone is coming! Kadaj merely nodded and placed one hand behind his back, on the hilt of Geo-Crucify. He was ready to shed blood, this day... SilverCyclone
Gray stared at the man as he left the cover of the trees. He shouldered his axe, shifting his gaze to the carnage around him. A rather large tiger padded out next to the miner, along with a wildcat and a dwarf. Gray finally returned his look to the man. "Beautiful bird. Enkai says you dont have the scent of chaos on you, nor do you look like a slaughterer. Perhaps a killer, but nothin on this scale. Sheath your blade, and I will put up my axe. I mean you no harm." Gray strapped his huge axe across his back, waiting for the man to do the same. A moments hesitation, and the blade singed into the scabbard. Gray breathed a sigh of relief. "My name is Gray. The dwarf is my apprentice, Shin. The cats are Mane the wildcat, and Enkai...my tiger. Who are you?" "Your certainly trusting." "Nope. Notice, I never once told my friends to lower their guard." Enkai and Mane had their claws and fangs bared. Shin was holding a large pickaxe. "You look strong, but I doubt you can take all of us. I just want to at least try to make friends before jumping to conclusions. So I try to be as friendly as possible first." "Either your very wise, or very foolish. My name is Kadaj. This is my companion, Tyiar" "Nice to meet you both, Im sure. Well, its obvious that neither of us did this. Enkai smelled the blood a little ways down. We came to investigate. I thought I saw a horse, but it may have just been shadows. Why are you among the ruins, if you dont mind me asking?"
GuyYouMetOnline
Azufe looked up from the tracks to the destroyed village. They do work efficiantly, he thought. They should be admired for that. Not for what they do, but fow how skilled they are at it. Azufe looked up. [Any sign of them?] he sent telepathically to the three dragons in the sky above. [I see nothing,] Anzunden responded. [Neither do I,] Seuneu added. [They are not within sight,] Zephyr the Thunder Dragon confirmed. [However, there are many others around.] [I know,] Azufe replied. [I have seen several sets of tracks. Many humans have passed by here, and many beasts as well.] [There are humans and beast all over the place, especially in the destroyed village.] [Then we should make contact.] And so Azufe made his way to the destroyed village as the three dragons converged in the sky above it and landed. Revelation
A loud screech came from above as Ianus sat upon a black creature which oddly resembled a reptilian horse. Ianus pointed to a branch nearby and a large hawk had appeared upon it. The black creature on which Ianus sat upon stomped his feet and Ianus leapt off of him. ["Further down the road is a girl with a black horse, milady."] Ianus knew that the bird was letting on more than he was telling. "Tell me, Veritas, who walks with this girl?" Silence was held in the air, but was suddenly broken by a new voice, a voice of darkness and ice. All heads turned to the voice and found it to be Arcana the Dark Griffin. Seiryuu had turned into the small lizard-like dragon and slithered up to Ianus' shoulders, while Veritas flapped his wings. Arcana sat up and stretched his wings. :"Arawn the Death Hellhound is who the girl walks with. But you appear to have already known that.": "Yes, I did. And I also know that if Arawn and his partner are at the destroyed village, then the others would arrive as well. Seiryuu, let us take leave." The dragon slid down to Ianus' hand. She knelt down and watched him grow into a great serpent with majestic wings and a slender body. Ianus swung over onto Seiryuu's back and gently nudged his side. Seiryuu understood and took to flight, with Veritas and Arcana flying after. Against the sparkling night sky, the three winged beasts gently swam through the breeze of air as they sensed the others' direction. Ianus remembered the sorceress and her demons. They were in her dreams, tainting her soul with evil darkness, giving her new sight as to what the shadows held, but what the sorceress did not know was that she was a sorceress herself. She had a strong heart and knew well on protecting her soul, body, mind, and heart, yet she could not say the same for the others.
Redemption
EVERYONE NEEDS TO MEET MY CHARACTER AT AN INN THAT IS MENTIONED IN MY POST! THIS IS SO WE CAN GET SOME REAL EVENTS STARTED! Robin looked up at the man who had commanded her name. Her black velvet eyes bored into his. " Why should I tell my name when I do not even know yours," Robin hissed, disliking how this man spoke to her. Arawn growled, raising his hackles. The man was not impressed by her answer. " I ask you again, what is your name otherwise face my wrath!" Robin strode forward to him, tempting him to hit her with his staff. Raven pawded the ground with his hooves angrily. " I don't like being spoken to it that way sir. However, to save your pain, I will answer your question. I am Robin. I and Arawn are the elements of death. You sir, I see, is the element of life, judging by the pegusas at your side. My opposite." The small girl groaned. Robin whirled around. " If you excuse me, master of life, I wish to help this girl," she said calmly. The man stopped whirling his staff. " By summoning death upon her...." he taunted. With that smart remark, Robin whipped out her bow, stringed an arrow and shot right at the man's head. He moved his staff swiftly to stop the arrow going right between his eyes. " Do NOT mock me or my powers. I don't wish my gifts upon anyone unless they are thoroughly deserving of them!" She positioned the girl comfortably onto Raven. The man walked to Robin's side. " Since I am the element of life, I can heal this girl." " Could you instead of yabbering?" Robin snapped coldly. The man scowled by placed his hands on the child and healed her. " It will take a few hours before she finds the strength to awaken," he said. Robin nodded and hopped onto Raven. Arawn followed obiedently. " I'm going to inspect the village in the morning. Would you like to accompany me to a large travelling inn just a few miles south of here? Since we are both elements?" Robin suggested, trying to be friendly although she wasn't quite sure it would work. " If you do come, I will be in the drinking area. Your companions are well cared for there as they are acustomed to my presence there. There are rooms where your companions can stay with you. If you come, I will see you there." With that, she spurred Raven on and took off into the night, her long purple Elven cloak billowing out behind her.
Sakura
Kari, Fell, Larka, and Kerma broke through the edge of the forest and they looked up at the evening sky, the one that was mostly covered by the forest canopy. "Isn't it beautiful?" Kari smiled. "Indeed it is, but we must hurry." Kerma reminded her. Kari nodded and they started to go toward the smouldering village. She looked around the blackened village, there were rotting corpses covering the charred ground, the smell of death and decay flooded their senses. "There's nothing left." Kari whispered quietly, tightening her grip on her staff. "Yes, we must continue to the next village from here, we'll hopefully reach there before it gets too dark." They walked away from the destroyed village, their mood dampened. As they walked along, Larka stopped flying and perched herself on Kari's shoulder. When the sky started to get darker, they arrived at the next village. Kerma landed and they eyed the new place. "We should get a room at the inn. Hopefully they'll let you three in." Kari said. They entered and she approached the counter. She questioned about her companions and the person nodded, saying they were allowed in because of another certain person with strange companions. Kari thanked the person after she got a room and they headed to the given room. Fell entered the room after Kari and he flopped onto the bed, Larka flapped over to chair and perched there, and Kerma sat next to Fell. Kari put her things down and let them know that she was going to the drinking area, Kerma decided to go with her. As they entered that particular area of the inn, they spotted something unfamiliar, it was a girl with a purple cloak and beside her was a large hellhound. Kari and Kerma looked at each other before deciding to approach them. "Excuse me, but that is an interesting companion that you have..." Kari said.

Delta
Ne, Kumiko? Just a morsel of that delectable pork pie? ?Ai, Epona! You?ve had enough pies to last me a week!? Kappa~! Had she known that the Water Serpent had a bottomless pit for a stomach, she wouldn?t have brought him along her pilgrimage. Yet, there they were: in a dark corner of the tavern trying to draw as little attention to their direction as possible. Kappa, her pet thing had already passed out twice from exhaustion ere they arrived in town and Epona, her ever-useless comrade, had once again run their provisions out. And now, now they were flat broke. What are we doing here anyway? We?re bankrupt, for crying out loud! Kappa~! Oi, you penny-pinching lackwit, call Lady Luck out and tell her to help you win a round of poker. Kappa~! And yeah, while you?re at it, ask for some pork pies too? ?Shush!? Kumiko stared at the entrance to the inn. Lively was the crowd that separated her and the door yet it seemed to her companions that she was listening intently for something. Her eyes twinkled against the dim lights as the door creaked open. In came a purple-haired woman and her companions. Seibzeihn
"This is not the place to talk about such things, methinks..." remarked Kadaj to the miner, Gray, as he slid Geo-Crucify back into its sheath. "There is an inn to the south of here...perhaps we might discuss these matters away from prying ears? I sense that there are other presences nearby." "Yes, I sense them also," nodded Gray. "Come, Tyiar." The phoenix descended lower, circling over its master's head. Looking over his shoulder to Gray, he gestured. "Shall we be off, then?" Both were spurred by a kind of urgency, felt but not seen or heard, that urged them onwards. For some reason, Kadaj's muscles flexed and unflexed, the muderous intent flooding through his veins. Revelation
The three winged beasts landed near a village. Seiryuu reverted back to his lizard-like form and took his place on one of Ianus' shoulders, as did Veritas. Arcana growled before letting the shadows consume him and turn him invisible, unseen and unsensed by all. Ianus nodded and pulled the hood over her head before entering the village. It was quiet and calm. The sense that others had arrived wafted beneath Ianus' nose. Seiryuu's eyes glowed a bright yellow as they neared an inn. Ianus stopped and looked to it. Veritas cooed and flew into the inn, following behind were the other three companions. They had seen several characters that did not suit the inn's profile. A young girl in an elven cloak with Arawn the Hellhound, another female in blue and white clothing with Kerma the Faerie, a third female with a dark blue coat and Epona the Serpent, a boy wearing intricate clothing with Veradon the Sphinx, and finally another boy with silvery-white hair with Tyiar the Phoenix. A smirk dawned upon Ianus' face as she sat in a dark corner, watching the movement of these people. {"Why so many people, milady?"} ("Here to defeat the sorceress is why they meet. 'Tis not, milady?") Ianus payed no attention to her companions. She was keen on the female wearing the blue and white with Kerma the Faerie. Kerma was Arcana's antithesis, her light to his darkness. Ianus sat, crossing her legs, interlacing her fingers, watching the movements of these people and beasts. <"I grow restless, staying hidden from sight."> ["Calm yourself, my beast. Your time will come to show yourself. At this moment, there is no need. Let us watch these characters and learn how they act in an environment like this."] OOC: If the dialogue gets confusing, I'll clarify in a moment. Ugamon
Ryu sat in the rafters of the inn watching yet another person walk in and three more stagger out drunk idlely he thought of Lirku in the forest most likely annoyed at him for coming into the village. Most of the time Ryu avoided the villages he could get whatever he wanted by the way of nature normally but this case was a odd one it was rare to see the elemental beast of death out and about like this something big was going down and Ryu could feel it in his gut warning him... He had sent Reyas out to look and see if the other guardain beast were in the area...Watching the common room carefully Ryu noticed a little brown and grey mouse running around he quickly asked it to keep a eye out for trouble and the mouse agreed in it's own way. Sitting back again he watched the group of guardains and their beast companions sighing to himself he got ready for a long night
SilverCyclone
Gray had taken a liking to Kadaj. Course, the miner was a friendly guy. After awhile of running (during which Shin never shut up about slowing down) they found the inn. "Hmm...feel that?" Gray glanced at Kadaj, who nodded. "Yes...quite a few people in there..." Gray strapped his axe back against his shoulders, and walked into the inn. A few eyes stared at them, but Gray focused more on the other people with beasts. "Well...not unexpected." Shin hopped off of Mane and went straight for the bar. Gray grabbed the dwarf's shirt and lifted him off the ground. "We dont have any money. You spent it all at that damn gambling game at the last town, remember?" "Oh...hehe...right." Gray chose a large table near the others. He sat down and kicked a chair out for Kadaj. Enkai and Mane curled up next to the miner's feet, keeping a watchful eye on the others. Gray leaned across the table, whispering to Kadaj. "Interesting...what shall we do? Let them make the first move, or do we? I personally think it wise to wait and see."
Ugamon
Ryu noticed a trio of travelers with a great amount of "travelers dirt" on them and sensed that soon all of the Beats would be here it seemed fate was working it's strings again as Ryu pondered this as loud crack respounded thoughout the inn and many of the patrens looked around however some where too drunk to care.. that was until Lirku waltzed in with a chunk of wood inbetween his teeth. Ryu laughing inwardly at lirku's strong will as dozens of people started backing away fromt eh white tiger afraid that it would attack them and rip them to pieces.. However Lirku merely spat the wood out and lounged on the floor like a kitten. almost as if it was timed Reyas came in through a window and landed on a table and the people looked more in wonderment then in fear. Droping down fromt he ceiling Ryu landly softly behind his animal friends. Ryu: No one shall hunt these woods as long as i am here once i am gone kill only what you need to survive nothing more.. drunk villager: and who may you be Ryu: Pulling back his cloak hood I am Ryu the Beastmaster violate these rules and you will feel the sting of pain before death.. Heero Darkangel
Lee looked around...so many had come in without him knowing.... {Elements.....I feel them...they're all element holders} spoke Dusk as the white ghostly Pantha lifted his head 'Why are they all hear?' questioned Lee, 'Why would elemental holders be all in the same room..let alone...a tavern....does fate hold a secret that we not know of? or is this a coincidence?' {Seems to be more fate than a coincidence...shall we go see?} questioned Dusk 'You know that i don't like crowds...' whispered Lee as he turned his attention back towards the window {Yes I know..but it might do that mind of yours some good...it might even take away the souls that haunt you..even if its for a little while} spoke Dusk as he stood up and nudged his nose against Lees leg 'That maybe true....but I haven't been around....other humans for a long time...nor have I spoken with one.......since....,' replied Lee as his voice faded out At that moment Syn and Veradon appeared beside them {We couldn't sleep knowing that you were out here Master} Soke Veradon 'I'm ok,' whispered Lee {where'd they all come from} spoke Syn as they looked around and noticed all the other elementals sitting in the lounge 'I was wondering the same thing....I didn't see them come in,' spoke Lee as he too fixed his gaze upon the others in the room {You hardly notice anything anyway...apart from a fight and spirits} said Syn Lee didn't reply as he once again turned his attention back to the window {Master...one day..your eye's will be filled with warmth...and warm blood will flow through your veins..oneday we will not see that deep saddness, coldness in your eyes like many years ago} spoke Dusk as they looked at him 'That day is only a memory..and that day will only be a dream...for the future only holds many more ghosts for me,' spoke Lee as he didn't return their gaze
Redemption
Robin stroked Arawn's head slowly, watching the other elemental holders intensely. Her bow and quiver lay idle at her side. Interesting..... Robin thought to herself as she sipped some honey tea from her cup. Most of them are here. We should begin then. Standing up, Robin approached the bar and whispered a few words to the innkeeper of the 'Bearded Beast'. He nodded and started hearding every person except the elementals out of the inn. Once cleared, he too headed to his house at the back of the inn. Silence. Nothing but the noise of the woods outside could be heard. Robin turned to them all, her black velvet eyes sparkling. " You all know why we are here. And I know that everyone here has a similar goal concerning the new demon threat," Robin started. Some didn't respond to her, but in their minds, they knew she was right. She continued. " I propose, since we are a kind of brotherhood, that we join forces. I fear that the sorcer or sorceress will be extremely powerful and any of us will be unable to take them down alone." She received some nods. " As we are all elementals - receivers of gifts, wanted or unwanted. However, I firmly believe that we should use these gifts, or curses however you like to call them, to good use. Even though we have been singled out by society for these gifts, we shuld still stop this threat, as I believe we are the only ones powerful enough to do so." " I agree," piped up the elemental of Light. She and Robin had an encounter earlier. Much to the girl's disappointment, Robin passed by without an answer. It was not that she didn't want to answer, but more it was difficult to answer such a kindness - something Robin was not used to. " Yes, something has to be done about it," replied the elemental of Spirit. " Good. Then, introduce yourself," Robin said firmly, making sure most of them would co-operate. " I am Kari Kaze. Kerma the the Light Faerie and I are the elements of Light," the girl wearing blue and white said. " I am Lee Draedon. With Verdon the Sphinx, he and I are the elements of Spirit," said the man who was accompanied by pure white panther. " My name is Kumiko. Epona is the Water Serpent and I share her abilities," said the woman with the small blue character on her forehead. " Kadaj. Tyiar the Fire Phoenix is my partner," replied the man with the double-katana. " I am Ianus. Arcana is the Dark Griffin," the lady with a crescent moon scar on her face. " Ryu. Element of Life. I share with Zurata the Life Pegusas," said the man with the bone staff. " I'm Gray. Enkai and I are the elements of Earth," the man who sat next to the dwarf said. Robin now stepped into the middle of the room. " My name is Robin and I am the element of Death. Arawn, the Hell Hound, shares our abilities." " Now that we have been introduced, we need to discuss the matters at hand," Robin said before a huge black dog-like figure smashed through the window and tackled Robin. They skidded along the floor. All the elementals stood up rapidly. Soon, the door crashed down and the inn was flooded with demons. ____________________________________________________________________ Meanwhile..... A small beel rang, signalling the arrival of a messenger at the Great Hall at the Summer Palace in Sargon. The King and Queen of Mir looked up from their meals. A red-faced messenger boy sprinted into the Hall and only slowed when he came to the King's chair. " Your Majesty. I have terrible news from the north. Demons have......" " DEMONS!" the King roared, standing up fromt he table quickly, knocking over his glass of wine. Servants quickly cleaned up the mess. The boy continued. " Yes Your Majesty. They have ravaged an entire village and, rumours say that are about to strike a second." " WHAT! BUT DEMONS ARE EXTINCT! THEY DIED OUT LONG AGO WHEN THE BATTLE OF MIR WAS DECIDED!" " Calm down Aricin. You cannot rule with a hot head," the Queen, Raina, cooed. Aricin sat down heavily." My people are being killed by a force unlike today's people have seen. These creatures are from the Underworld and will not stop until they make it like their homeland. I have only read about them, for I am far too young to have been in the Battle of Mir." Suddenly the Prince Zarek and the Princess Amelia sprinted into the Great Hall. " Father, I heard that there are demons about. I wish to ask you if I can command a legion of troops to go out and defeat these gastly creatures," Zarek suggested firmly. Amelia looked horrified. " No Father. Don't send him to the warzone," she begged her father when she saw he was seriously considering the option. " No, I will not send him to a battle alone. I will accompany him. Servant, get me the General," Aricin said to a servant lad to the right of him. Raina sat there frozen. " Both of you are going into battle?" she asked timidly, knowing her husband's temper. " Yes, my love. Unfortunately, neither of myself or Zarek have been battle-experienced. I think its about time we did it in reality," the King replied sternly. With that, he left his seat and walked to the Tactics Room, Zarek astride with him.
Seibzeihn
Kadaj leaped off his chair to the ground, bringing Gray down with him. A jet of flame roared by above, incinerating where he had once sat and listened to Robin's speech. Two demons barreled towards them, as Tyiar winged through the broken inn door and let loose with a barrage of fiery pinion-arrows. Kadaj drew Geo-Crucify and took several steps over the wreckage of a table before drawing deeply upon his Fire magic and surrounding himself with magical flames. Immolation mirrored the muderous heat in Kadaj's own eyes. "I will not die this day! Not this day!" A demon rushed him with fangs and claws bared. Without hesitating, Kadaj cut it down with a mighty slash, severing its arm. Raising the double-katana over his head, he stabbed downwards into the demon's body, caught up in the dark joy of his killing. The body smouldered instantly as it came into contact with Kadaj's Immolation spell. "I was born on the full moon, shadowed by a firestorm! Sent by the Lord of Hell himself! Brother to the Hellfire!" raved Kadaj, his eyes brilliant with battle-light. The other elements were battling mightily, but their power was lost to Kadaj's adrenalin-drugged mind. Caught in the moment, it became difficult to discern which was the demon; Kadaj, or those he faced. Turning, he sent a column of fire roaring towards a pack of the smaller hound-demons, scattering them like ninepins. Master! You must gain control of yourself! But Tyiar's voice did not reach Kadaj's mind. With a terrifying roar, Kadaj plunged into another pack of humanoid-demons, sword in hand. "I'LL KILL YOU AAAAAAAALLL!!" OOC: Can I get a description of these demons, and/or their different types? It's kinda hard to write about eradicating them without talking about what they look like and what kind of weapons/spells they wield...The only ones you've made clear are the doglike ones; are there more kinds?
GuyYouMetOnline
When they found the village empty, Azufe ordreed the dragons into the air to look for anyone, while he examined the tracks of the demons, I think there's an inn in that direction. Of course, is might actually be were in this case. Still, we should look. these tracks are fresh. the demons might not be there yet. [We have a new destination,] he sent to the dragons. [The demons are heading in the direction of an inn. If we hurry, we might be able to intercept them there. Zephyr, I need a pickup.] The thunder dragon dropped altitude and flew toward Azufe. He didn't ever land; instead, Azufe drew his poles, placed them on the ground, and channeled a blast of electrical energy through them and into the ground. the force of the blast propelled him upwards, and he'd timed it so that he landed on Zephyr's back. Much faster than having Zephyr land. [Jesus Christ! There's like a zillion of them down there!] Azufe was riding Zephyr, and Seuneu and Anzunden were on either side of Zephyr. Below them was the inn, and the inn was under attack by demons. [Anyone in there won't stand a chance,] Azufe sent to the three dragons. [With that many demons, an enclosed space will be an aid to the demons, not to any survivors in the inn. here's the plan. Zephyr, you'll land behind the inn. I'll blast my way inside, creating an opening. I'll lead the survivors out. Demons are sure to follow, but they'll move through the inn at first, only passing around it when they know we're outside. Zephyr, demons will come streaming out of my hole after us, and it's your job to make sure they don't kill us. Anzunden and Seuneu, when we're all outside, you two destroy the inn with maximum force. Any demons still inside-and there should be a lot of them in there-will go down with the inn. after that, we'll kick some ass. If we have to, we can always fly off, but we're going to try fighting first.] ---------------------------------------------- OOC: Azufe's plan was made without the knolwedge that the other survivors are elementals like him, but he'll still insist on getting them outside. SilverCyclone
Gray kicked the demon off of Robin. He flashed a smile at her before snapping the creature's neck. He slammed his fist into the ground, tearing a trench open and killing several other demons. Gray picked up Shin, who took a hold of his pickaxe. "Keep em off my back Shin!" The dwarf sat on the miner's shoulders, hacking at heads of demons. Gray pulled out his axe and pick. He leapt upwards, Enkai and Mane following suit. He landed amidst a group of them, wreaking havoc with his huge weapons. He was impressed and a little shocked when Kadaj lost it. "Damn but he's strong. Very strong. Glad Im his ally!" Enkai smashed three demons against a wall. Gray let out a yell, throwing himself between the other elements and a mass of demons crowding the doors. "Not bloody likely! I just met these people, and I rather like them, so if you dont mind, you wont be KILLING THEM TODAY! So unless you like the feel of earth crushing you, I would turn around and get the hell out of here!" Gray, Mane, Enkai, and Shin threw themselves with roars into the entrance, their massive frames blocking the doors. He caught sight of someone with dragons. Gray called up to him, still swinging his massive axe with a shredded arm. "Oi stranger! Mind lending a hand here? They're denting my axe." Revelation
A deep and threatening growl erupted from the griffin's mouth. This griffin was more beast then bird and his untamed soul could not be broken, the same as Ianus'. She and her three companions sat calmly as demons raced towards them. Underneath Ianus' cloak, she held onto a cursed whip, waiting for the right moment to send it flying towards the stomping demons. Bloodshed spilt onto the grounds of the village as the elementals fought against them. Arcana, Seiryuu, and Veritas waited for their mistress' command. Ianus smirked and kicked a chair towards one of the demons. The demon who crashed into the chair resembled a large cat with spikes along its back and bloodthirsty fangs. The other two had a body of a lizard's, leather-like hides, large snouts similar to that of a boar's, and a venomous spit that spills from their mouths. Growls came from the cat-demon as it creeped up towards Ianus with its friends. Ianus stood and pulled out Vipére Lamelle, the cursed snake. It came to life once it was in Ianus' hands. The demons was cautious about the whip in the dark elemental's hand. "I see the thirst in your eyes. I hear the hunger in your empty soul. I know you taste the death that hangs in this night. If darkness is what you seek, then darkness is what you receive!" A crack from the whip moved the demons to leap towards Ianus. The two lizard-like demons were stopped by Arcana and Seiryuu, who managed to turn himself into a two-legged serpent with blades as arms. The two companions and demons fought together, trying hard not to surrender or get hurt. The cat-demon tried the same, but the Vipére was hard to avoid. Its three heads striked towards the demon each chance it had. "With the power of the darkness, I call upon the Lamelle to put control into these demonic beasts!" Just as Arcana and Seiryuu wounded their enemies, the Vipére Lamelle transformed itself into three seperate king cobras, its eyes a hypnotizing red. The creatures neared the cobras, in a trance-like state, with their guard down. In a soothing, mesmerizing voice, Ianus spoke to the three beasts. "Now, my creatures of Hellfire, I heal you of your emptiness and wounds. I give you the power of the true shadows. And I command you go and attack those who oppose the elementals! Go, my servants! Fulfill your mistress' wish." With that, the three left, as did Ianus and her creatures. She stepped out into the streets with the Vipére Lamelle in her hand. Chaos erupted all around and all peace and serenity was stifled. Darkness had arrived and the scent of it was sweet.
Heero Darkangel
Lee watched as they all attacked the demons that stormed the inn, Lee wasn't the type to show any kind of fear or excitment, as he rose from his seat more demons smashed through the windows, the others rose with him...One demon landed on the table and looked at Lee, its fangs were like razor blades, its eyes were fearless and hungry....it let out of deep growl as Lee stared deep into it's eyes....and deep into its soul....Lee's eyes then turned a pale blue..the demon let out another growl 'Heed my words..those who threaten my life..i will kill.,' spoke Lee coldly The Demon growled and was about to attack lee when Lee suddenly drew The Devine Sword and cut the demons head off, the demon screamed in his head...although it made no sound before it was beheaded 'Veradon! Kill!' growled Lee as they joined the others, the sord sung its eerie tune everytime Lee swung it and it slashed its way through the demons that surrounded them At that moment two demons grabbed Lee from behind and threw him out the window..but they were the torn in half by Veradon and Dusk, Syn jumped out the window to aid Lee as he was then surrounded by demons Lee gave a slightly demonic grin but then it disappeared as he then ran towards them 'Spirits of mir..aid me..' he whispered as he flipped over a demons head, as he did that his eyes grew red...and a hundred or so spirits rose from the ground with haunting moans and screams they charged down the demons that he had flipped over tearing him apart and they followed closely behind Lee attacking anything that threatened his life, Syn galloped threw the demon mass tramping on them hard and growling as he went..his haunting cry sent a shiever through the demons bodies
Sakura
Kari was depressed when the girl had brushed past her, but she soon got over it when the demons crashed their little 'party'. They all got up and Kari put her fingers to her lips, letting out her eagle cry. Some of the other elemental holders covered their ears from the high pitched whistle. Kari waited and Fell and Larka came down stairs. In Larka's talons was her staff, she flew overhead and dropped it, and Kari caught it perfectly, and smoothly pulled it apart, revealing the hidden blades inside with a 'sching!'. Kari saw all of them were practically in the same area. "Everyone! Please close your eyes!" Kari cried. Everyone did it without thinking. "I call upon the power of Light! Sunblast!" Kari yelled, there was a sudden bright flash and then it disappeared. The demons were now on the ground and were constantly blinking. The others opened their eyes. "What's wrong with them?" someone asked as the demons begun slamming into doors and walls. "They've been blinded, that blast is enough to burn anyone's retiners to ash." Kari replied. "Go Kerma, fight them with everything you have, Fell, Larka, Fight but stay together. And try not to get hurt alright?" Kari said to her companions. Kari ran into a group of demons, she whipped out her dagger and stabbed one in the temple with it, then she slashed at the others, doing a wicked swordsdance. When she finished, the demons had plenty of slash marks on them, for some she had slit their throats through the dance, but others were still alive. One heard her voice and charged her from in front, Kari grabbed his shoulders and flipped over him, then stabbed him in the back with one of her blades. Then she pushed a blade backwards, straight into another demon's heart. She pulled her blades out of them and noticed that more were approaching her from the sound of her battle, and the dying cries of their companions, she let them get close and closed her eyes. "I call upon the power of Light! From Hell ye rise, to Hell depart! Holy!" she cried. A white glow bathed her and spread out to the demons at a mass rate, they screamed in pain as they were incinerated by her holy magic. All of the demons that had been around her were gone and she was surrounded by corpses. Kari pulled her dagger out of the first demon's temple and cleaned her weapons on a rag that the demon was wearing. Her eyes flitted around and she ran to find Kerma, Fell and Larka, hoping they weren't injured, or at least not too badly.
