Redemption
Welcome to the Elemental Beasts: Demon Invasion Undergorund thread. This is for the RPG Elemental Beasts: Demon Invasion. Here, the world of Mir, the places and people will be explained for the RPers involved. The world of Mir The world of Mir is a fantasy land. It is full of deep dark forests, long forgotten plains, high mountains, islands far off into the sea, hills of green grassy meadows, coastal cliffs, deep valleys, endless canyons and erupting volcanoes. There is a royal family of Mir. King: Aricin Queen: Raina Prince: Zarek Princess: Amelia It is inhabited by creatures of all sorts, both fantasy and real. It is also inhabited by four races: the Elves, the Dwarves, the Lizard People and the Humans. Races Humans: The Humans are the medievil equivalent of today. They are excellent traders, farmers, fishermen and seafarers. They normally reside in coastal areas and on the islands since they are the only race that use boats. Lizard-people: The Lizard-people dwell in the meadows, deserts and canyons of Mir. Basically they are lizard that stand upright and are taller than any man. They are excellent Hunters and beast-wielders. They have tamed many creatures and have used them to good use. They trade well with Humans and are on good terms with them. Dwarves: The Dwarves are small stout people that only come up to a human's waist. Normally they have beards. They dwell in the mountains of Mir and mine precious metals from them. They are excellent blacksmiths, miners and weapon-makers. They have an alliance with the Lizard-people and are suppliers of weapons and armour to the Humans. Elves: The Elves are a long, slender race of immortals. They have pointed ears, are as tall as the Lizard-people and are graceful. They dwell in the forests and deep valleys of Mir and usually keep to themselves. The Dwarves and the Elves have their differences but there has never been a war between the two races. The Elves are excellent bow-men, healers and weavers. Places in Mir Here are a few places in Mir that you should know about. Delta
I've a question, love: With Mir having 4 different races, does that mean that we can roleplay as, say, a Lizard-person?
Heero Darkangel
One question??..where does the Sphinx come from seens how its spirit??..just wanting to know...I might of stuffed up my sign up
Redemption
To answer your question Freude, I'd rather you play as a human but if you want to play as another race then that's fine. Just PM if you want too. Heero, the Sphinx and spirit are linked together from ancient Egypt. Cats and all other living creatures had ka, or the spirit of a person. I read a short story on how a cat saved a terminally ill little girl by giving her its ka. That's where the idea came from. The Sphinx, since its like a cat and it was fantasy, was an obvious choice. Sakura
I've been thinking about this when I've posted. How big is Kerma the Light Faerie? Like is she the size of a normal human, or one of those small ones in fairytales? I wasn't sure so in my posts it suggests that she's the size of a normal human, namely a little shorter than Kari. If it needs to be changed let me know, but I was just curious. ~Ohkami
Redemption
Normally I leave that for the RPer to decide. You can have it what ever size you want Ohkami.
GuyYouMetOnline
I know this question's been asked in the actual RPg thread, but it seemed more appropriate for here. Can you give us a few more details about the demons? Like, what different kinds are there, and what powers to they have? What can they do? Where are they most vulnerable to weapon strikes? It's hard to do a battle with them without knowing a lot more about them than we do.
Redemption
The general demon is a black-hided, hairless dog. However, as we progress through the RPG more powerful demons will appear. These will be like gargoyles or harpies. The most powerful are like a giant skeletal dragon and a giant stone soldier. Dog demons don't have any powers. They just attack. Anywhere the weapon strikes it will deal damage. Harpy and gargoyle demons have small fire and ice powers. Harpies are vunerable when grounded (slice off their wings) as are the gargoyle demons. The dragon demon has firebreathing powers. A skeletal dragon is vunerable to water, earth, light and life powers. The stone demon has earthly powers. Vunerable to fire, wind, darkness powers. Does that answer your question Takuya?
